“I did a series of small works, a project called “Unnatural Landscape.” [...] It started as a project about the landscape and the wall, and how this construction, this ugly concrete, [...] tries to cut, separate, and destroy the scene. What kind of effects does this wall have on the landscape, especially from a distance? I can see, when close to the wall, what kind of damage and social side-effects the wall has between the farmer and his land, the family and their relatives, between a city and a village. But also, from a distant view, for the one who wants to hike only, the landscape has a different meaning. We live in a high area here in Ramallah; when you look toward the sea, you can see different layers of mountains, but there is no empty landscape without settlement, without the wall.” – Khaled Hourani in an interview with Lela Vujanić

for your 100th dragon you should use only 100 strokes/lines for the dragon. or if you have already gone past 100 do a dragon with the amount of lines corresponding to the number it is.

ex. 294th dragon gets 294 lines/strokes

personally i think it would be a neat challenge

really disappointing that bunjywunjy had to be pestered twice just to quietly remove their reblog after using their huge platform to encourage garbage like raving about the lesbian estonian soviet flag and how 'new pride flag just dropped' so people could go 'ooh pretty' about a flag that was forced onto us by ppl who wanted our culture gone and oppressed us for about a century in total if not more.

to say nothing or not show anything of the truth about that flag and quietly remove the reblog felt more like it was done out of obligation (and you didn't agree) rather than care for the subject matter that is still a fresh wound in our country's memory. it's only been 33 years since it ended.

I'd rather you make the mistake about something you didn't know (eastern european history is easy for westeners to overlook, because we're not a big country like them, we're not england or france or spain or germany) and admit/apologize for said mistake or even just outright state that you don't actually care rather than say nothing and quietly remove something so that people would stop talking about it

eastern dragon doesn't make sense canonically but this is already so far from canon i don't care anymore

do you know what the deal is with this weird squirrel? we have a lot of black squirrels in the park nearby but ive never seen one like this before. symmetrical pattern, its other side looked the same.

Eastern grey squirrels are funky! Here are oddly colored individuals on my favorite iNaturalist group, they seem to be the most commonly reported species. Melanistic ones don’t always come in pure black, they can be very interesting like the one you saw!
