The Global Shift Toward Online Mentorship: Insights from the World’s Leading Mentorship Platform
The world of work has changed dramatically in the past few years. From hybrid workplaces to fully remote teams, digital collaboration has become the new normal. As organizations adapt to this evolving landscape, one area seeing a remarkable transformation is professional development—specifically, and mentorship.
The traditional face-to-face mentor-mentee relationship has shifted to a more accessible, scalable model, thanks to the rise of online mentorship platforms. At the forefront of this shift is Go To Mentors, widely recognized as the world’s leading mentorship platform. Their tech-powered approach is reshaping how companies and individuals think about connection, learning, and growth.
Tumblr media
Why Online Mentorship is Booming?
As remote and global workforces become more common, the demand for virtual development opportunities has soared. Companies want to offer their employees more than just online training—they want personalized, human connections that foster professional growth.
That’s exactly what mentorship programs offer: a trusted space for advice, accountability, and development. However, delivering such programs at scale, especially in distributed teams, is a challenge. This is where platforms like Go To Mentors, the world’s leading mentorship platform, come into play.
By facilitating structured, online mentorship experiences, Go To Mentors bridges time zones, departments, and even cultures—bringing people together with purpose, no matter where they are in the world.
The Benefits of Online Mentorship Programs:
Whether you're a fast-growing start-up or an enterprise company, the benefits of going digital with mentorship are massive:
Accessibility: Online mentorship removes geographic and scheduling barriers, making mentorship available to anyone, anywhere.
Scalability: Instead of matching a few dozen employees, a digital mentorship platform like Go To Mentors can serve hundreds or thousands simultaneously.
Customization: With AI matching tools and skill-based filtering, mentees can be paired with mentors who align with their goals.
Tracking and Analytics: Companies can measure the effectiveness of their mentorship programs, set KPIs, and optimize the program experience using real-time data.
These advantages have led top-tier companies to adopt Go To Mentors as their platform of choice, reinforcing its status as the world’s leading mentorship platform.
A New Era of Learning and Leadership:
Beyond convenience, online mentorship is creating new opportunities for career advancement. Through structured mentorship programs, employees gain insight from experienced professionals, develop leadership skills, and receive personalized feedback that traditional training lacks.
With Go To Mentors, users follow a guided, goal-based journey. The platform offers:
Skill and career path tracking
Scheduled check-ins and mentor feedback
Resource libraries and learning tools
Diversity-focused mentor matching
This end-to-end support is what makes Go To Mentors not just another tool, but the world’s leading mentorship platform for organizations that care about long-term employee development.
Supporting Diversity, Equity & Inclusion at Scale:
One of the most impactful uses of digital mentorship programs is advancing diversity and inclusion efforts. Underrepresented employees—such as women in leadership or BIPOC professionals—often benefit the most from having access to experienced mentors.
Go To Mentors ensures these individuals are not left behind by offering intentional mentor matches and inclusive training programs. It provides a safe, empowering space for professional growth, solidifying its role as the world’s leading mentorship platform in the DEI space.
How Companies Are Using Go To Mentors in 2025?
In 2025, companies are looking for strategic ways to invest in their people. Leading HR teams and talent development departments are turning to Go To Mentors because it makes implementing and managing mentorship effortless.
Some real-world examples include:
A global tech firm using Go To Mentors to on board new hires remotely
A healthcare company implementing a leadership track for mid-level managers
A university alumni network connecting recent grads with seasoned professionals
In every scenario, the platform delivers measurable results—better engagement, lower turnover, and higher career satisfaction.
This level of impact is why Go To Mentors continues to be called the world’s leading mentorship platform by both users and industry leaders.
The Future of Mentorship Is Here:
As more companies shift to remote-first models and prioritize employee well-being, mentorship will continue to evolve. But one thing is certain: the days of unstructured or outdated mentorship models are over.
With tools like Go To Mentors, organizations can build lasting connections, empower diverse talent, and foster a culture of learning. It’s not just about convenience—it’s about creating impact at scale. That’s the vision behind the world’s leading mentorship platform.
Join Go To Mentors – the World's Leading Mentorship Platform – and transform the way your team grows, connects, and leads.

inKonbini: One Store. Many Stories Preview - The Joy Of Japanese Convenience - Game Informer
New Post has been published on https://thedigitalinsider.com/inkonbini-one-store-many-stories-preview-the-joy-of-japanese-convenience-game-informer/
inKonbini: One Store. Many Stories Preview - The Joy Of Japanese Convenience - Game Informer
Tumblr media Tumblr media
Two days after returning home from my vacation in Japan, Tokyo-based developer Nagai Industries Inc. released a trailer for its upcoming adventure game, InKonbini: One Store. Many Stories, and I was immediately taken back to my convenience store (“konbini” is Japanese for convenience stores, generally) adventures days prior. From Lawson’s excellent spicy chicken to 7-Eleven’s life-altering egg salad sandos, convenience stores in Japan are incredible, as strange as that is to write. InKonbini is a ’90s love letter to the konbinis of Japan, and after speaking with Nagai Industries founder Dima Shen about InKonbini, I couldn’t be more sold.
InKonbini puts players in the shoes of college student Makoto Hayakawa, who is taking a break from her studies to help her aunt run a small-town konbini. Nagai describes the game, due out on undetermined consoles and PC in 2025, as a “meditative narrative adventure/simulation game,” where, while playing, you discover the joy and wonder hidden behind the daily routine of a konbini worker. The idea began as a “Summer Project,” which is also the working title for InKonbini, between two friends. Shen’s friend was planning to move to Argentina, giving them one last chance to work closely together, “so I offered him to try and make a game in the span of one summer.” Today, Nagai has eight full-time employees and a few others working on the game.
Shen says their conversations led them to develop something “beautiful and cozy, with a positive mood, but also a bit sad,” like mixing the works of Hayao Miyazaki and Makoto Shinkai. Shen tells me Japanese culture describes these mixed sentiments as mono-no-aware, which can be translated as “the sad beauty of mundane things.” After several iterations, Nagai landed on the 1990s konbini, and Shen got goosebumps the second this idea was born. Those goosebumps might have also resulted from Shen remembering the bright and welcoming konbini of Shenmue, one of his all-time favorite games (Nagai Industries is the cover-up name for a Yakuza group in one of the game’s locations).
Shen says Nagai aims to challenge and confront the notion that a developer can’t convert this occupation into a meaningful and exciting gameplay experience. The game’s trailer indicates InKonbini will have the kind of gameplay you’d expect in the shoes of a convenience store employee. But at the same time, Nagai expects players to find joy (and many other emotions) in the meta-gameplay born out of the other element of working at a konbini: talking to customers.
“The game is being built around a traditional Japanese concept of ‘ichi-go, ichi-e,’ which translates to ‘one time, one meeting,’” Shen tells me. “No situation in our life can be repeated; we never get to experience the same thing twice, and that’s what brings nostalgic flavor to some of our memories.”
Makoto Kayakawa will only spend one week working behind the counter, but Nagai thinks the new connections she gains and the stories she hears will resonate with players. However, don’t expect a mystery-driven plot or investigative narrative – InKonbini is about the joy of the seemingly mundane, although there is a connecting throughline.
Ultimately, Shen and Nagai hope players can recognize the power of slowing down in an otherwise fast-paced world, with Makoto Hayakawa standing in for us.
“The main takeaway wouldn’t be a big revelation, though,” Shen adds. “It’s the journey that matters, not the destination. We simply want players to be reminded that all the moments of our life are fleeting, and even the things we get used to, like a convenience store around the corner, won’t be here forever.

Friends, Musk is trying to downplay the chaos he’s creating by saying it’s much the same as the cost-cutting efforts of the Clinton administration. “What DOGE is doing is similar to Clinton/Gore Dem policies of the 1990s,” he posted on his X platform. Rubbish. I cut costs in the Clinton administration. The contrast with what Musk is doing couldn’t be sharper. As secretary of labor, I took the Department of Labor down from 18,500 employees to 16,600 — but did it without any layoffs. No chainsaws. No meat-axes. And we were careful to improve the services we were providing the public. For example, when people lost jobs in an industry that was shrinking, we devised a way to get them job-training and job-search assistance in addition to unemployment insurance. This helped move them into new jobs faster — which also saved the government over $1 billion a year in unemployment payments. We plowed that $1 billion back into job-training and job-search assistance, making the whole economy work better. In Musk’s attack on the federal workforce, thousands of federal workers have been fired without warning. Or they’ve been offered fake “deferred resignation” buyouts that were never authorized by Congress and may not be legal. Entire agencies have been gutted without legislative authorization, forcing judges to intervene. Our “Reinventing Government” effort was authorized by bipartisan congressional legislation. We worked carefully over several years to identify areas where government could be more efficient, notifying Congress of what we were doing. But the Republicans who control Congress today have allowed Musk to race ahead without them, even though the Constitution states that the legislative branch approves spending and federal law prohibits the president from cutting programs Congress has authorized without its permission. Clinton sought that permission, and Congress accepted $3.6 billion in cuts he proposed. We also involved federal workers, because they knew better than anyone what could be improved and how best to do it. We introduced performance standards, we encouraged our workers to embrace the internet, and we gave out awards to employees who came up with ways to cut red tape and improve service. “There was a tremendous effort put into understanding what should happen and what should change,” said Max Stier, president of the Partnership for Public Service, which seeks to improve the federal workforce. “What is happening now is actually taking us backwards.” We were deliberative and careful. Musk is the opposite. Musk sees government workers as the enemy — as costs to be cut. We saw government workers as assets to be developed, our partners in getting better services to the public more efficiently. Musk also calls people who benefit from government programs the “parasite class.” Presumably that’s why he’s eager to cut back Medicaid. But Medicaid’s beneficiaries aren’t parasites. Half of them are children. Oh, but if we’re talking about people who depend on government, Musk is the biggest “parasite” of all. Over the years, Musk and his businesses have received at least $38 billion in government contracts, loans, subsidies, and tax credits, often at critical moments, helping seed the growth that has made him the richest person in the world. That he views public servants as his enemy and the people who benefit from public programs as “parasites” tells you all you need to know about Elon Musk. When you hear Musk say his effort is similar to what I and others did in the 1990s, know he’s lying. When you see him call people who benefit from public programs “parasites,” know he’s a hypocrite. Thoughts?

It can, but it doesn’t have to do so. Employees are the hidden goldmine of employers, and all efforts should be made to keep staff happy and productive in your business. what did you mean by "... produces ptsd on an industrial scale"? just trying to understand, thank u!
content moderation for platforms like facebook and tiktok employs thousands of people, sometimes in the usa but more commonly in the global south (so they can be paid less) to sit at computers and view hundreds of flagged posts a day, including graphic violence and csem, for awful wages, under ridiculously stringent conditions. this results in many, many of the people who work in this field developing PTSD -- and of course they are not given adequate treatment of support, one article cites facebook giving its moderaties nine minutes of 'wellness time' for employees to recover if they see something traumatic.
here's some articles on the topic that can give you a good overview of what working conditions in this field are like, but warning, there's pretty graphic descriptions of violence, animal abuse, and child sexual abuse in these articles, as well as frank discussion of suicidal ideation:
Nearby, in a shopping mall, I meet a young woman who I'll call Maria. She's on her lunch break from an outsourcing firm, where she works on a team that moderates photos and videos for the cloud storage service of a major US technology company. Maria is a quality-assurance representative, which means her duties include double-checking the work of the dozens of agents on her team to make sure they catch everything. This requires her to view many videos that have been flagged by moderators “I get really affected by bestiality with children,” she says. “I have to stop. I have to stop for a moment and loosen up, maybe go to Starbucks and have a coffee.” She laughs at the absurd juxtaposition of a horrific sex crime and an overpriced latte.
For Carlos, a former TikTok moderator, it was a video of child sexual abuse that gave him nightmares. The video showed a girl of five or six years old, he said [...] It hit him particularly hard, he said, because he’s a father himself. He hit pause, went outside for a cigarette, then returned to the queue of videos a few minutes later.
Randy also left after about a year. Like Chloe, he had been traumatized by a video of a stabbing. The victim had been about his age, and he remembers hearing the man crying for his mother as he died. “Every day I see that,” Randy says, “I have a genuine fear over knives. I like cooking — getting back into the kitchen and being around the knives is really hard for me.”

AN OPEN LETTER from Apple employees and shareholders demands the tech giant stop matching employee donations to organizations with ties to the Israeli military assault on the Gaza Strip and ongoing illegal settlement development in the West Bank. The letter, building on a previous demand by Apple employees for a ceasefire in the conflict, calls on the company to “promptly investigate and cease matching donations to all organizations that further illegal settlements in occupied territories and support the IDF.” As with many large corporations, Apple employees can make donations to a number of nonprofit organizations and receive matching contributions from their employer through a platform called Benevity. Among the charitable organizations eligible for dollar-matching from Apple are Friends of the IDF, an organization that collects donations on behalf of soldiers in the Israeli military, as well as a number of groups that contribute to the settlement enterprise in the West Bank, including HaYovel, One Israel Fund, the Jewish National Fund, and IsraelGives. Apple did not respond to a request for comment.
This isn't the only genocide Apple is funding.

ATTENTION DEAD BOYS FANDOM:
We have some unfinished business and a case to solve: The Case of the Curious Cancellation! 💀🔎
Tumblr media
Here are the ways you can help (be sure to read until the end).
I'm not sure how many people here on Tumblr are also over on DBDA Twitter, but there have been MANY developments in the last 24 hours and it's important for all of us to be on the same page if we're going to have a chance in hell of saving our show.
First and foremost, we need to get Dead Boy Detectives in the Netflix Top 10 again. This means running it as much as possible. Read about that below:
Tumblr media Tumblr media
(SOURCE x)
As the graphic says, the goal is to have it running on a loop constantly, as much as you physically can. Be sure to have some level of volume on or else it won't count. If you're on Twitter be sure to post your rewatch (photos of your tv, commentary, etc.) with the hashtag #ReviveDeadBoyDetectives !!!
Also, there's no better time to do this: the Tweet below brings up a great point! 👍
Tumblr media
(SOURCE x)
Second, and easiest thing: KEEP TALKING ABOUT THE SHOW AND CREATING CONTENT ABOUT THE SHOW. Analysis, fics, fanart, shitposts, gif sets, memes, tik tok videos, so on - do not stop! Reblog other people's stuff and talk about it! Give fics kudos, comment, make fic rec lists and post that WIP or sketch! The most important thing to remember is to TAG YOUR POSTS AND CREATIONS. We need to trend!!! On Tumblr make sure you continue tagging your posts as you probably already are (look at my tags on this post if you need help, and remember not to use "DBD" on here because that is another fandom! We use DBDA here). On Twitter you want to use the hashtag #ReviveDeadBoyDetectives for the rewatch and #SaveDeadBoyDetectives is a popular one, too. You can also use #DeadBoyDetectives. Hell, I usually use all three if I can! Hashtag every post you make about Dead Boys, no matter how annoying or "cringe" you may feel. Flood the fucking tag and do not stop.
Third, everyone needs to sign and keep circulating the petition. We've surpassed 5,000 signatures in a day which is fantastic, but we need more. Get everyone you know to sign it; tell them it takes no more than 15 seconds. Be annoying until they do it just to shut you up.
Fourth, request "Dead Boy Detectives Season 2" through Netflix's support website. It's a small thing but if we all do this a couple times a day it will get their attention. They really do vet these suggestions, and an influx of requests for a canceled show will raise eyebrows.
Tumblr media
Lastly, if you decide to write Netflix (via email or a letter - their office address has been floating around) please remember to stay concise and professional. Don't curse at them, don't call names. State that you are disappointed with the cancellation of the show, maybe add an anecdote about what it meant to you, and I would even recommend attaching some articles that emphasize people's displeasure with the platform abandoning shows on a whim and Netflix's flippant attitude toward queer shows in particular. Dead Boy Detective Agency on Twitter has retweeted every article on this topic so far, you can find their page here.
Tumblr media
You can also use graphics such as the ones below to affirm that the cancellation was unjust.
Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media
(Source 1, Source 2)
I know this feels like a lot: know your limits and take care of yourself. Whether you do every single one of these things or just a few of these things, every llittle bit helps!
Even in the worst case scenario where nothing changes, this gesture will mean so much to everyone who made this show. We owe it to the writers, cast, crew, and each other to TRY. We can all agree that this show deserves at least another season and if Netflix isn't going to do it, they need to be open to selling it to someone who will. We cannot keep allowing them to axe these queer and diverse shows with little regard for their customers and their employees, but also because it sets a harmful standard in the industry that is destroying television.
Let's crack this case and bring our agency back! I truly believe in this community!! 💜 We can do this!!
If there are any spelling errors or issues with links let me know! I did this on mobile because I want to mobilize this information as quickly as possible! I'll be adding on to this with new developments and can answer any questions you all might have. Lets save our show!

Hello may I request a Dazai x reader, where she is horny and wants him, so while they were mhm they get interrupted by a phone call from anyone really (preferably) Atsushi.
What would happen then??

Tumblr media
There were many ways you conveyed to Dazai that you wanted him. The two of you had developed codes to communicate within the Agency without letting Kunikida know, although Ranpo always made sure to make an over-the-top disgusted face whenever it happened.
You sighed softly, marching up to wear Dazai was folding a paper into an aeroplane and dropped a paperclip onto him. It landed onto his lap. He stared at it for a few moments as you walked away. Chuckling, he ditched his airplane's failed attempt at flying and hurried over to where you were going.
That led to now; you lay sprawled along the table of the meeting room with Dazai's face buried between your legs, splitting your thighs apart with his hands roughly. His arms hooked under your legs and he was forcing himself deeper onto your cunt.
One of your hands was clapped onto your mouth, the other into his hair, pushing his head to its destination. Dazai bit and sucked along your skin ferociously, determined to make a mess of the table. He plunged his tongue inside your sopping cunt, sticking it out to taste all of your delicious juices.
You let out a loud groan, clenching his head between your thighs hard.
"Dazai, don't-"
"You're so sweet, bella. I can never get enough of you," his lips vibrated against your clit, and you shut your eyes tightly together, expecting your rapidly approaching high. "You can give me one more, yea? Stay still, baby."
You could not give him one more. You were overstimulated, grabbing desperately onto his hair as if to rip it off his scalp. Your teeth were biting into your hand reflexively, trying to stop your helpless moans and groans from seeping out to the peaceful employees of the Armed Detective Agency. Even so, you were not sure they had not heard enough to make out what was going on behind the closed doors of their meeting room.
"Just one more, bella, hang in there, please."
"I can't-"
"Please," Dazai groaned into your pussy, and the sound was enough to finally push you over the edge to your release.
You let out a loud wail, not bothering to hide it anymore, as you came onto his face, spilling your wetness onto his clothes and the floor. The table was a mess. The room smelled of fresh sex.
Your legs trembled as Dazai picked your pants from the ground after quickly stuffing your panties inside his pockets, when all of a sudden you heard a phone ring.
"It's mine, babe. Get dressed," he kissed your pussy one last time and you shuddered.
Dazai answered the phone call, slipping one of your hands inside his pants.
"Yes, Atsushi?"
Your fingers stroked his length, circling around its base before slowly gripping it by the whole, all the while you tried to wear your pants with the other hand.
"Hi! Where are you?"
"Doesn't matter," Dazai replied calmly, clenching his teeth as he felt you teasing his tip lightly. It was a bit difficult doing so. So he shifted the phone to rest between his ear and shoulder and undid the button and zip, cock springing up freely when he pushed the underwear down.
Your heart jumped at the sight, hastily standing up and leaning down to lick it.
"Mr Kunikida is looking for you. He says to call you so you won't be late."
"Won't be late for what?" Dazai hissed, fingers tangling into your hair as he leaned against the table.
"For the meeting in five minutes, of course."
