“Your Grace, with all due respect… THIS ISN’T FAIR AT ALL!”

“I understand what you’re saying Venti but I can’t bring all 20-something of you outside… 8 people is already too much! An average friend group has around 3-4 people and I’m bringing double that! I promise I’ll take the rest of you out some other day.”

Hearing consecutive sighs of disappointment, you turn to look at the rest of the men. They were visibly upset. It’s not that you DON’T want to bring them all outside! Really! It’s just that some… or, most, of them have features that would stand out in a public setting. Take Gorou and Tighnari for example! Their ears could maybe be hidden for some minutes at a time using a hood or beanie, but what about their tails? Not to mention ITTO. He literally has the most red, obvious horns.

You did your best to make them look somewhat normal. Kaveh and Wanderer could pass as a normal citizen if you removed some accessories, but characters like Diluc and Neuvillette couldn’t. So it was up to you to dress them up! Yayyy!!!

No. This was NOT an easy job. Diluc’s bright red hair couldn’t be hidden no matter how hard you tried. Neuvillette’s long hair could maybe pass as normal... maybe. His horns though? I guess you’ll have to go with the “Oh! Why are they dressed like that? Well you see, my friends just left a cosplay convention a while ago. They look cool right? Yeah.” Excuse.

You gave them what you had left in your closet. What did fit them were sweats, loose pants, pajamas and some old shirts. It was odd not seeing them in their usual complex and pretty outfits. The buffer and more muscular characters looked (not surprisingly) attractive in your shirts… they were tight just around the right spots. They noticed your eyes in their direction with your face ever so slightly flushed, but decided to not say anything about it. ( THEY KNOW.)

With the boys dressed up and ready, it was finally time to head out! The people you brought with you were: Neuvillette, Wriothesley, Kaeya, Diluc, Childe, Kaveh, Xiao and Al Haitham.

Xiao insisted on being the one to “protect you”. Denying his request felt awkward for some reason…

Kaveh had been interested in the simple and strangely large buildings cramped next to each other. You wouldn’t be so mean to deny his request to go see some of them in person right?

Al Haitham was interested about your world and wanted to learn more about it, maybe he’d find some books that weren’t all fiction and romance.

You’d feel bad if you only brought one Ragnvindr brother.. so you brought both. You also didn’t want to hear Kaeya bickering with Diluc about him going out on a “date” (it wasn’t.) with the Creator.

Neuvillette and Wriothesley look a bit intimidating so maybe they’d scare people off. Who would’ve known you’d have two scary looking men protecting and looking after you?

And Childe….. well he’s Childe. He was stuck to your hip.

You didn’t really know where to go.. The park? A restaurant? A supermarket? All of these options were a bit difficult since they’re usually filled with people. Of course, no matter where you go there’s likely to be people, but it’d be easier to not have to be completely and utterly aware of every stranger around you in fear that they might find out who the men you brought with you actually are. Your only option was to ask them if they had an idea or if they wanted to visit an area.

“Oh! Can we go to one of those food places you’ve talked about before? What is it called.. uh.. curly… curly fries..?”

“Jack in the Box. The name is Jack in the Box, Childe.” Wriothesley remembers every little thing you talked to yourself about when the only way they were able to feel you was through a screen. All of them would listen to you talk about a movie you watched, something funny that happened, or gossip that was spreading around your school or workplace. Anything.

You let out a small chuckle at their conversation. Their recommendation isn’t bad you think. All they’ve been eating is whatever you had back at home, since ordering takeout for more than 20 people would be wayyyyy too expensive.

So a fast food restaurant it is!

The walk there was…. tedious. Childe was trying his best to not wander off, he really was! But there was so many new things he’d never seen before, so it’s not his fault. Neuvillette was probably the calmest out of everyone. He was right by your side following your lead. Maybe holding onto your arm once or twice.. on accident! (it wasn’t) Xiao was observing his surroundings a little too hard.. yeah this is all new to him, but I guess he was serious about protecting you. Though you didn’t really need it with 7 tall men around you.

“Mortals… The need for human interaction is what makes them weak.”

Diluc and Kaeya would not SHUT UP. If you passed by a bar, Kaeya would ask if he could go in, just for a second! He just wants to see how different they are from the ones in Mondstadt, really. Diluc would follow up with “You’re no better than that… that drunkard Venti.”

Kaveh would stop mid-street to look at the buildings...

“These buildings are so… long. How do they hold up so much weight? It’s impressive! What would they need so many floors for though… Why is there a man’s face as the logo in that restaurant? Oh! He’s glowing?”

“If you get ran over by one of those vehicles it’ll be your fault.”

“Huh? Al Haitham! YOUR GRACE! Wait for me!”

The next problem was choosing what to eat. Ordering food for 8 people, not including yourself, was expensive. You knew that! But you didn’t mentally prepare for the bill.

“Oh god…”

“Your Grace? Is something wrong?”

“It’s nothing you need to worry about. Eat up! We can go somewhere else after this if you want.”

You had realized that a woman had passed by your table countless times. She was very obviously staring at the men, looking almost flustered? Oh, she must think they’re attractive.

“Uh-uhm.. excuse me, sir. Can I have your number? Or.. just Instagram is fine too.” She was staring directly at Wriothesley. You should’ve known letting him go out in a tight shirt and loose pants would’ve attracted more people.

“Uhh.. Pardon me, ma’am. Number…? As in… prisoner number..?” The Duke had an obvious confused and conflicted look on his face.

“Huh?”

“Aha.. ha… forgive him. He’s taken! So he can’t give out his number to just anyone.”

“Oh.. S-sorry. Forgive me I’ll just— I’ll get going.“ She was very obviously embarrassed over this whole ordeal.

“What did she mean by number, your grace?”

“Don’t… don’t worry about it…”

The group of men began to eat. (Neuvillette ordered a cup of iced water and Xiao didn’t eat anything.)

“Your Grace, there’s some food on the corner of your mouth.. Here. Let me help.” As Kaeya was about to reach his hand and wipe off the food with his thumb, there was thud on the window next to your table. Huh? It’s Itto.

It’s Itto?

“WHAT THE HELL. HOW DID HE GET HERE!?” You whispered screamed as turned to Itto. Did he follow you here? Was he here this whole time????

Through the glass Itto was saying something. His voice was muffled but you could make some things out.

“Your Grace! Don’t let this… this BUFFOON touch you! I, Arataki Itto will volunteer instead!”

You let out a loud sigh. You had to go get him… imagine seeing a tall, buff man with white hair and what looks like horns with a black hoodie up against a restaurants window…

Yeah that looks weird from an outsiders view.

You signal to the rest of the men to follow you out. When you got outside you wanted to tell Itto to never do something like that again… but he looked so sad, almost like a kicked puppy.

“Sorry Your Grace… I just wanted to accompany you! I might have gotten a teenyyy tinyyyy bit distracted on the way. You never told me there was so many cool lookin’ beetles in your world! There was one that that was very small and red with black spots, probably not useful for beetle fighting though. And I also saw some… uh.. not to disrespect anyone but there was a really weird lookin’ dog..”

SIGHHHHHH. You started to wonder what would have happened if he really had gotten lost, or what if someone recognized him? The thought of losing one of the men scared you. Would you be to blame if one of them never made it back to Teyvat?

“Itto… I love you and everything, but never do something like this again. What if we never found you? What would have happened then? I think we should head back home..”

Itto was on the verge of tears. He’s had more beans thrown at him than he could count, but nothing ever hurt as much as this.

It took Itto a while to process that you had also said you loved him.

“M’ bad Your Grace.. I won’t follow you next time… but, I love you too Your Grace!!”

The men turned to him SO FAST?? Xiao was about to take his spear out, Al Haitham looked DISGUSTED. Kaveh and Childe’s jaws were wide OPEN.

“DUDE YOU CAN’T JUST SAY THAT!”

“Childe’s right, we all love Our Grace, not just you.” Diluc only said this because he wanted to be the one to say “I love you”, but you didn’t need to know that. If it was for anything else he would never agree with a harbinger.

“That doesn’t even make sense! Why can’t I love and appreciate our beloved Creator? You guys are all just mad that I, the Number One Oni, Arataki Itto, am Your Grace’s FAVORITE.”

“WHAT? NO! Your Grace is that true?”

How many sighs have you let out today? This must be a full time job because you just let out another sigh.

“No, it’s not. I love all of you equally! Don’t start any problems with each other in public, please… We should be heading home anyways. Look at the sky, the sun will set soon.”

Almost in synch, the men respond “Yes, Your Grace!”

Seeing them like this made you feel all happy and giddy… It was nice seeing them together with you in the picture. You smiled at them and they just stared. They waited for you to turn around before looking at each other almost competitively. It was clear that each and every one of them wanted you for themselves in some way.

It was finally time to head home!!! After one long and exhausting day, you finally made it back.

“*SNIFF* AUGH.. YOUR GRACE! *SNIFF* WE MISSED YOU SO MUCH!”

“Hi, Venti… I missed you all too..” Venti’s arms were wrapped tightly around you, while he cried onto your shoulder.

“Your Grace, you’re here!” Thoma looked.. tired. Just what happened while you were gone? You decided to ask just incase.

“Hi Thoma, and everyone else. Did anything happen while me and the others were gone?” You had a gut feeling that something happened… they were unusually quiet… too quiet.

“A fight broke out between The Puppet and Cyno.”

Wait Venti “mixes things up in canon”? Like, confuses which time he’s in??

I don’t think I’ve noticed. If you want, could you give some examples?

Yeah! There are 1-3 examples of this: 1 that only has time-related explanations, 2 which can be interpreted that way.

The first one is these two lines from different parts of the prologue, in both scenes where we meet Venti at Windrise.

He says exactly the same thing twice and notices that the second time. The delivery is almost identical too (at least in Chinese).

It's too long and flowery to be a coincidence imo, even from him; I believe it's much likelier that he messed up a script due to stress. As he points out himself, he only says 'these things' whenever he's 'down on his luck'.

There are two explanations for this that make sense to me:

He interacts with time nonlinearly. The specific nature of that could vary from simple time travel to jumping around branching timelines to experiencing more than one point in time in parallel; at this point I have no way to narrow that down.

He's in a time loop. He's been through the prologue before and he's partly on autopilot. Maybe Teyvat gets reset and he remembers previous loops, maybe it's something shorter.

Tangentially, if loop theory is true and Teyvat's on its fourth loop then the way he introduces himself will retroactively be even funnier:

Though his infamous song line would be slightly more consistent with intepretation one, as would a text about wind and time I can't locate that describes wind as 'moving between the pages of a book' (considering Teyvat operates on story logic) vs time being more destructive. Interpretation two is still possible if he knows 'future' songs from later in previous loops.

Anyway, the other two mixups concern the traveller.

The first is his infamous introductory voiceline:

Which isn't subtle. The second is from his story quest as he flees Angel's Share:

In which he refers to the statue's hands as 'the usual place' despite us never having been there with him. The dialogue immediately afterwards confirms this is intentional, not something implied to have happened offscreen. Like the Windrise lines, he says this while not at his best emotionally.

Venti also really, really likes the traveller in general- a bit much for someone who hasn't known us that long. His voiceline about his greatest wish puts us on par with Nameless Bard.

Both of the above have a non-time explanation: Venti may have befriended the traveller 500 years ago, the traveller has forgotten everything, and for unknown reasons Venti is trying to hide this from us. However, time travel, experiencing the future and present simultaneously, or knowing them from prior timeloop resets are also viable explanations for why he knows them and has spent time with them already.

Sooo yeah! Venti's hiding something big either way, but he's not as slick as he wants to be.

some headcanons for my troubled angsty heart:

1. if clervie survived, i think she wouldve gotten an anemo vision because of her whole thing of fighting for freedom in the house of the hearth. she says she wanted to be a bard in arles story quest. imagine arle and clervie going to mondstadt for the windblume festival and clervie and venti running into each other, and him teaching her to play the lyre. one night, clervie sings to arle, and when she looks over at the harbinger, shes smiling wider than she has in her entire life

2. FATHER AND MOTHER. some of the hearth kids are scared of clervie and the title "mother," and how much she resembles crucabena in terms of physical appearance, and clervie takes care to try not to resemble her at all. she wears her hair in a different style (i.e. not the dead anime mom cut), she has a completely different style from her mother (she can often be seen walking around in flats and arlecchinos stolen suit jackets), and she makes sure she doesnt talk in the threateningly saccharine tone her mother used to. over time, the kids are at ease around her, no more heels clacking down the hallway at night, patrolling every corridor. shes so gentle and doting with the kids, with no hint of a murderous gleam behind her eyes

3. speaking of father and mother, they have such a healthy relationship dynamic and they absolutely show affection to each other around the others. the kids at the house have sometimes walked into the library and seen arle reading a book on a sofa with clervie leaned on her shoulder, an arm wrapped around her waist. god theyre so soft with each other and they have such a healthy example of love for their kids

4. arle has taken clervie to snezhnaya on business trips before (dw, they have someone back home to watch over the house). the first time they went there, the first thing they did was go see the aurora borealis. they sat on top of a mountain one night. clervie wrapped herself in arles winter coat (it was big enough for both of them, even though clervie had her own coat) and tucked her head under arles chin

5. clervie has stolen the rest of the harbingers hearts. they love her, probably more than they love arlecchino. signora and pantalone are ready to pour out a river of mora for her, columbina loves to listen to her singing, and sandrone tinkers with little trinkets to give to clervie to take home to the hearth kids

6. their proposal is so sickeningly sweet. clervie has been talking about wanting to go to snezhnaya again, not for a business trip, but just for a regular vacation. maybe they can even go to a winter festival together. like always, they go up to a mountainside together to watch the northern lights. clervie gets up to their usual spot first, and she turns to face the lights, arlecchino to her back. arle takes out a ring with a pink diamond, clervies favorite, set in the middle of a gold band. clervie hears arlecchino go silent and she turns around, confused, and starts to ask why, until she sees her down on one knee. she could see a tear in the corner of arlecchinos eye, but of course she wasnt going to point it out because she herself had tears streaming down her face as she said yes a thousand times over

• If you are quite close he may tell you little bits of his past but not in detail or things he doesn't want to talk about (Still an achievement).

• PLEASE make him apple donuts, they don't even have to be donuts, it can be something else related to apples, however apple donuts would be the best choice.

• This boy will be happy all day long, even though he would rather eat them all, he will give them to you too because after all you made them for HIM.

• Privacy? What's that? Venti loves affection so expect hugs! The good thing is that he's a ghost so people in your class won't see him sticking up to you.

• Of course he will let you go when he sees that you feel uncomfortable and he will apologize to you. Next time he will remember to ask you.

• Be careful because Venti may disturb you a bit during the lesson, for example by trying to make you laugh. This boy loves your smile!

• Even if you keep your head down, he will find a way to make you look at him. It might cause you to start laughing in the middle of the lesson and everyone will look at you strangely. During the break he will start flying away from you, laughing when you try to catch up with him.

• Don't be surprised if you come back home and find in your notebooks his poems or song lyrics special to you. They are so cute and lovely that sometimes you think they are not for you.

• "Is this really for me?"

• "Who else is it for, silly? Of course it's for you! Awww did you like it??"

• He'll love to hear about your interests and even tell you about his own! You will certainly be talking on the school rooftop or in the bathroom.

• Okay, okay but do you guys remember when Hanako kissed Yashiro on the cheek to cast a protection spell on her? OMGGG Imagine Venti doing that on you!!!

• He may be jealous! But he doesn't really show it, although you can still tell he is. He will pull you away from that person by saying he wants to show you something or that he has a gift for you. He will also start teasing you to get your attention.

God that Bleeds Thorns: Part 2 (End)

Hello! Man, time has passed, huh..I've been doing work and life stuff. I've been going to cons as well. I got some inspiration recently, so I started writing again. I've been writing little by little on a couple of drafts that have been collecting dust, lol. This was also in my drafts, I wanted to do a part 2, like what happened after, almost as a comfort post. I didn't really edit this one as much. I just fixed some lines but not everything, so it may not be the best. Which is ok because it was one of my earliest drafts, lol. I'm so sorry for any spelling mistakes, etc. If you read this or are still following me for the once in the blue moon posts, I truly appreciate you. Thank you for your patience and understanding.

If you are new, here's the first part to it

You never intended to use your blood on anyone, but you knew you had to set an example. Thoma, Kazuha, Ei, and Zhongli all came to your aid to help you get to your chambers. You leaned onto Thoma and Kazuha as they helped you get up and started to walk with tears in your eyes, one hand covering your mouth to hold in the sick feeling you had.

Ei and Zhongli headed for the kitchen to start preparing you some tea and fruit to help your stomach.

The ones who stayed behind to clean up were Childe, Diluc, Ayato....and Albedo, but he was more studying the piles of mush from afar. Childe and Ayato were intrigued by how just a bit of your blood could do such a thing. However, while they were just looking and not really cleaning, Diluc brought it upon himself to finish cleaning since these 3 weren't.

Kaeya, Danslief, Cyno,and Xiao went to go check on your acolytes. Just to make sure there isn't gonna be any more treason against you.

Gorou, Tighnari, Heizou, Venti, and Itto try to make a plan to please you, make you smile again, and they don't like to see you cry.

While that was going on, you were in your chambers crying into the chest of Kazuha as he rubbed your back to soothe you. Thoma was getting your bath ready.

Everyone of your trusted acolytes knew why you started crying, why you wanted to puke. It's because that's not you, that was a facade you held onto the whole time. In honestly you knew what your blood could do because you accidentally made a rose into a pile of ashes. You only told your trusted ones what your blood could do. You vowed to yourself you would never use that on anyone only when deemed necessary. That's why you made a code phrase, that way they knew what was about to happen, what you were gonna do. Hearing them cry, smelling their burnt flesh, their bodies turned into a meaty mush made your stomach churn. All you could mutter between sobs was "I'm sorry" "I didn't want to". You didn't have to apologize, your followers knew what a kind being you were. You are pure, holy, a being that could never do wrong so don't cry. They hate seeing you cry.

It wasn't long before you started to calm down, Thoma motioning you to your bath with his head down. Same with Kazuha, helping you up and towards the bath, not looking at you. You didn't like that. Why are they doing that? Seeing their heads down hurt you, made you fearful so you told them in the most softest voice you could mutter "Please..look at me" in this moment you needed them to see you, you who they cared for and loved, you who loved them the same. You felt that if they didn't, they would view you as some monster. With hesitant eyes, they slowly picked their heads up to view your soft face. The way you sheepishly smiled once they did was enough for them. You told them that you needed them to look at you. They could tell something else was bothering you, so they followed your command, hoping it would give you some relief.

After you took your bath and changed, you were greeted by Zhongli and Ei. They came in with warm tea, and your favorite fruit sliced neatly on a plate. They both asked how you were feeling, and you answered a bit better but not quite. Zhongli picked up your cup and handed it to you with a smile. The warm aroma was calming, which he could tell by your relaxed demeanor. Ei started to make small talk as you ate the fruit little by little, along with Zhongli telling you some stories to get your mind off things. They would do everything they could to see you smile. While Thoma brushed your hair, and Kazuha also told you some tales. Before you knew it, everyone else came into your chambers to see if you're ok.

Of course, Ei sneered at them who just burst through the door, but you motioned to Ei its ok. She wanted to apologize for acting so rude, but you stopped her before she could with that soft smile of yours, your warm eyes telling her it's ok. With that, she nodded with a smile and continued to help you eat while you listened to everyone who came in.

Childe, Ayato, Albedo, and Diluc told you the throne room is clean.

While Kaeya, Cyno, Danslief, and Xiao told you, more as a report, that the rest of the acolytes were ok and there's nothing suspicious.

And finally, with loud laughter came in Itto, Venti, Gorou, Heizou, and Tighnari with your favorite flowers, snacks, and crystalflies.

Seeing how much they care even after witnessing that you couldn't help but cry. Once they heard your cries, they stopped and started to panic. Did they do something wrong? Was the food not good? The gifts are not ok? But before they could say sorry you looked up at them, eyes still watery, smiling at them. "Thank you." That's all they needed to hear to confirm that those were happy tears. Your soft smile told them that what they were doing was ok and made you feel safe. They stayed by your side until you fell asleep. You didn't even realize you fell asleep. One minute, you were just looking at them, smiling and conversing with them, then the next your soft breaths could be heard by everyone.

After you did, everyone cleaned up and left your chambers. All felt content knowing you were safe and well. And they will be back in the morning to see you once again.

As Your Sibling

Characters: Ayaka + Ayato, Diluc, Childe, Wanderer/Scaramouche, Albedo + Klee, Qiqi & Diona

- You and Ayaka always go to festivals, (more like you force her since she doesn't get out much) - Ayato gives you weird stuff to try with Thoma - When the vision hunt decree hit, Ayaka and Ayato sent you away to Liyue or Fontaine - Thoma was really sad when you left-but knew it was best for your safey - Ayaka & Ayato had important roles so they had to stay within the region - Your vision would most likely be Electro or Anemo - While you were away, you sent letters through beidou & she passed them along to Thoma - After its all over you guys were back together again <3 - You spend more time with Ayaka, but Ayato still spends a lot of time with you aswell

- He would ignore you most of the time - You would most likely be another puppet of Ei's that was abandoned - Though you followed him anyway - While he was in the Fatui he'd check up on you, he said its because he needed something of yours but really he wanted to make sure you were okay - But he'd never admit that himself - Eventually after he became a god and such-you helped the traveler defeat him to make him normal again - After the whole thing is over & he regains his memory he apologizes to you - And then he stays with you and still has the help of Nahida - After that all happens hes a bit nicer towards you - And you guys go out often - For example if you wanted to see Nilou's dance than he'd go there with you - Your vision is probably Cryo, Anemo or Hydro Vision

- Kaeya would constantly tease you & Diluc - Diluc would save you from most of the teasing though - If you like alcohol, Diluc would give your drinks for free. If not then he'll give you grape juice-still for free - Venti would bother you about getting free wine, since you get free wine already-why can't the two of you share? - you probably have a dendro or geo vision

- Albedo would ask you to take care of klee a lot & make sure she stays out of trouble - If you helped Klee go fishblasting, Jean would send you to the room with Klee ( I forget what its called) - Albedo would teach you alchemy along with Sucrose - Sucrose would also try to help you learn when Albedos gone, you both would study together and talk - You most likely have a hydro vision or Geo vision

- He would buy ANYTHING you wanted, even if it was  7.8 billion - Best sibling in the whole world (except for the part where hes a muderer and probably has commited a lot of crimes) - He tries to keep fatui work away from you but you sometimes get caught in it - Would teach you self defensive skills to protect yourself - Though most of the Fatui know you are his sibling and to automatically stay away form you - Its more protection against the abyss order - Childe tells you stories about his life in the Fatui often-but not the colder ones - You probably have a Hydro vision or Electro Vision

- Would treat you whenever you get sick - You visit her and baizhu often, hes used to seeing your face around the shop - You try to help her remember everything but fail most times - You keep a journal on you in case Qiqi forgot hers (she does sometimes) - In that journal is mainly stuff about you though - Probably have a Hydro or Pyro vision

- She tells you about her plan to ruin the wine industry - You watch her suffer every time her drinks are amazing-which you also love to have them sometimes - If you do drink, she doesn't like it and would rather you do it without her knowledge - You have a Geo or Hydro vision

C3 ask that is relatively non-venty: Do you think if/when C3 gets adapted into animated form like Legend of Vox Machina and Mighty Nein that some of the weirdness and pacing issues can be smoothed out?

Oh absolutely! (Also - venting with a specific question for me is ok! This isn't a positivity call it's just... don't send me a giant statement that would have made a better post on your own blog.)

They made pretty drastic changes to campaign 1, which is a cohesive and strong narrative but doesn't necessarily fit the medium of shorter form animation well (keyfish is a great example). I have no idea if there will be an adaptation of campaign 3, but if there is I'd expect it to be pretty dramatically different.

Maybe? An Arlecchino focused fic. A scene, where Arlecchino came to Reader to negotiate about benefits she will get from helping Reader. Will I tie it to BSD Character? ¯\_(ツ)_/¯ We will see.

Mitchell and Venti fic. Venti, after confronting Fake Creator, is forced to be loyal to them, otherwise they will execute everyone in Mondstadt. He gets an earful from Mitchell.

Another Fukuzawa fic, possibly? Something with Fukuzawa act as an assassin again. Perhaps with Rosaria and Eula, or Lawrence Clan.

Saving Nahida and Aranaras fic. Chuuya? Perhaps Adam and Lucy.

Fake Creator focused fic. About their past, and why they decided to pretend to be a Creator. Possibly with Ayatsuji.

Atsushi fic. Something soft, Atsushi bringing tiger cubs to Reader for petting them.

BEAST Spin Off. Semi-canon for the main crossover. BEAST Characters get into the Real World after Reader returned from Teyvat and BEAST! Mori accidentally scared Reader with his voice.

What if. What if Reader get into Teyvat before BSD Cast got into the Real World and during execution Reader, instead of returning to the Real World, got teleported into BSD World.

2. In BSD Manor. It's big enough to house few more people. If needed, Fitzgerald might order to build one more house (he was planning to do it anyway, in case more BSD Characters appeared in Real World).

Kids helped Aranaras and Melusines build new villages for them.

3. Does Nahida and Furina move their people in the real world too?

It will depend, if most of their citizens will be in danger (example: If Fake Creator ordered Apep to "unleash" jungles on Sumeru, or Neuvillette decided to drown Fontaine), Furina and Nahida will demand for their people to be moved.

Otherwise, if their people aren't in danger, they will see and wait.

BSD Cast, while angry, aren't unreasonable. They understand, why common people chased after Reader (fear, religious beliefs). Their revenge are mostly focused on "playable characters". People in power, who ordered to hunt Reader.

They will try to keep permanent damage to the normal citizens as low as they can.

4. He is quite rich. I won't call him the richest, but he is wealthy.

5. Even if they are, they won't find anything. Fitzgerald is financially clear. For real world, he was just a cosplayer, who decided to play on the stock exchange (Fitzgerald and Alcott) and get a jackpot from online casino (Sigma, Fyodor, Dazai). There is no tax evasion, Fitzgerald is just a very lucky person.

More of a question to expand on than a detailed request, but would raph help a teacher reader grade papers?? Would he get invested in gossip on the kids??

I was zoning out and somehow thought about elementary school teacher readers, coming back to the lair with papers to grade, Donnie getting angry over the lesson plans you have to use, etc. And then, like always, raph thoughts(I am unbelievably gushy to raph x lil sweet cheery readers) Being oh so sleepy tired but still having work to do. Grading papers, getting activities printed and cut, weekly plans. I'd like to imagine he helps to get you to sleep faster, all the while listening to the venty yapping about which kids are troublemakers

It's almost two. He's later than he was supposed to be, because somehow the night construction crew on 4th don't need to take pee breaks. He had to wait half an hour for an opening to get by the site, but he's finally made it home.

He walks into the lair to find you asleep on the couch, cuddled with one of his blankets, and five pumpkins left. The living room is a wreck. Thin foam slices and shapes, along with more than a handful of candy wrappers (most likely your dinner) litter the couch and the ground around you, he's relieved to at least see a mostly empty bottle of water. He smiles down at you fondly. You had a way of taking on more than you should probably handle. He was a perfect example of that.

After a quick shower to rinse the city off of him, he goes back to the living room, snatches up a pumpkin and an exacto knife, and sits back on the recliner. He props his foot up on the coffee table and glances over at you before getting to work. Even unconscious, he was awestruck.

From the moment you met he was drawn to you. He's not even sure he can place what it was, but somehow he found himself caught in your eyes. Every touch, every whisper was the most beautiful agony. For two years his head fought his heart, reminding him every moment of every day that he was unworthy of you.

He still doesn't get how he managed it. You. He's still so damn confused, but he's past questioning it. He seems to be what you want. You seem happy, and he's been on cloud fucking nine for the last three years. There's obviously been some growing pains, and considering, to your knowledge, a relationship like this has never exactly been done before, patience and understanding have been a must. But when you're lying in his arms, it's more than worth all the bullshit.

And he's having so much fun.

Being with you has been the most incredible time of his life. And the moment he was able to say that he was yours, it felt like none of the other shit mattered. You somehow saw the beauty in the beast, and despite everything, still chose to stay. And now that he finally has what he wanted, and has for years, he feels like there should really be a "something next."

He couldn't give you everything. He could barely give you anything. Somehow, It seemed to be enough. But there were some human experiences he wanted to have, too.

He glances over at you, still asleep, and smiles. He can hear Donatello scolding him as he pulls the ring from his pocket for the fifteen time today. He should really just put it away. But he was proud.

It took him a year to make it. A ring of white gold beset with a deep red asscher garnet, and small triangle cut moissanites resting on either side of the band.

He didn't feel right giving you a stolen ring, and giving you something he found in the garbage was unthinkable, so between sourcing the materials and learning an entirely new skill thanks to Donnie (who has a bit more experience working with metal), he'd only just fit the stones this morning, which is why he NEEDED to see you. He was excited (and terrified) Even if it isn't time yet, it's finished, and he's been pouring his love for you into it for a year.

Now to figure out the hard part.

He hears your phone buzzing as your alarm goes off and fumbles to quickly hide the ring. When it's no longer in his hands, he smiles over at you, "Morning, beautiful."

You smile sleepily over him. "Hi..." You take a deep breath and stretch, yawning, before your eyes fly open. "Shit!" You fell asleep.

"Relax" he soothes, before you can panic, "I finished 'em up for you."

A wave of cool relief washes over you and you sink back into the couch. "How did I ever manage life without you?" you ask with a soft smile.

"You didn't," he clarifies, "that's why you needed me." He grins as your laughter fills him. "Why don't you go grab a shower and get ready for work. I'll get these packed up."

You stand and stretch and he looks at you fondly (and a little lecherously). You catch his stare and smirk, walking over to him and leaning down (only slightly), for a kiss. "Your amazing," you whisper against his lips, before you pull away and open your eyes.

You head towards his room to grab a change of clothes before going off to shower. It isn't until he hears the bathroom door close, and the shower turn on that he lets out a heavy sigh of relief. Too close.

He looks at the foam explosion in the living room for a moment and is about to start tidying up when he has an idea.

Opening up each of the pumpkins as he goes, he tosses some candy into each one before putting it in the cart, leaving the last five he carved for last. He checks the time and grabs one of the sharpies and a pack of post-it's out of your bag and gets to work.

As his hand is lifting the lid of the last one, a haunted house, you are coming down the stairs. He tosses the note in quickly without looking, closes it up and places it on the cart with the others.

You reach him and stand up on your tip toes to kiss him. "Thank you for saving my life," you say.

"Someone's gotta," he replies. You scrunch up your face and he grins, kissing you again. You kiss him back and bite his lower lip, he growls, still smiling, "don't start something you ain't gonna be around to finish."

"I'll make it up to you," you breathe into his ear, his hand tightens around you waist, "besides," you say pulling back with a suggestive brow, "I do owe you a thank you for the help last night."

He walks you to the garage and rides up the elevator with you. As your hand touches the door to exit at street level, he quickly pulls you back into him, kissing you fiercely. "I love you so fucking much," he whispers as he pulls away, grinning.

"I love you too," you say, slightly confused, your suspicious feeling from the night before returning, "what's going on with you?"

You don't miss the flash of panic in his eyes. "Nothing," he insists a little too emphatically, "I mean, what do you mean?"

"I don't know..." You say, eyeing him as he tries to appear casual, "you're being weird."

"Babe, I'm a six-and-a-half foot talking turtle, I'm made of weird."

You laugh. A few years ago, he could have never made that joke. He's come so far and you are so damn proud of him and the reptile he's become. "Okay, granted. Weirder, then."

He looks like he really really wants this conversion to be over, "you're gonna miss your train," he offers helpfully.

And if he wasn't right, you would have stayed to wring it out of him.

Reading TLH again #2

Okay, I finished the second Jason chapter and I have more thoughts.

Let's go by chronological order. But before anything I want to share this lil Jason & Leo moment:

When I say they have cute moments like this throughout the whole book, I mean it. Very small snippets but it gives such a good relationship foundation for them. I love Jason and Leo friendship 😊

Now, let's dive into it:

Interesting observation #1: Coach Hedge's a fascinating character even tho he is treated like a joke

I find Coach a very good new character. At this point in the book he seems pretty unidimensional at surface but he has more to him than meets the eye.

For example: Coach is a unusual satyr.

His species are known to be strictly pacifiers and nature lovers, and even if we are not new to the concept of brave satyrs, Coach is a different kind of brave than Grover is.

He is much more bold and his presence is definitely louder. He is also bound to violence, which is a uncommon fact on itself

He is also very protective towards this trio, especially Leo and Piper (the ones he knows from before), but his protection extends to Jason too sometimes.

Leo and Piper are, unquestionably, his favorites tho. Including all the seven 🤭

Also, everyone forgot (I think Rick forgot too) about the magical bat Coach had in the beginning, it changed forms

More magical bat: it chases targets

Coach Hedge is supposed to be retired. I guess this is not actual important info, but I think about this taunt as a way of informing the readers he didn't actually want to retire, and we don't know why they dismissed him.

I just love Coach. I really like his character, he is a refreshing air and I think Rick made the right choice in putting him as the chaperone of the Seven. He is a comedic, action bound and brave character that deserves more love!

Interesting observation #2: Gaia treats Jason as a special case from the very beginning

I remember she has this annoying habit of having favorites, as in favorites to become her "sacrifice". If I remember correctly, her faves are: Jason, Percy and Annabeth. We can see her playing with Jason's value for her plan from this very chapter, already treating him like a "reward"

Interesting observation #3: Piper surprises everyone with her courage

In this chapter, Piper demonstrates her bravery during the confront with the venti. She has surprising good scenes, and even if she isn't very helpful in terms of combat, she thinks quickly and is very agile.

Most important fact is that, even if she doesn't understand what is happening, she doesn't seems afraid. The girl can act under pressure, we have to give her that.

In this scene, she takes command and tries her best to be supportive to the other students, acting like a in-control guide in the middle of a hurricane.

Than we have her acting as a sidekick to Jason during an actual fight. She is determined to help him defeat these strange creatures she doesn't even know.

Bonus observation of Jason being attracted to her violent tendencies lol

Finally, she tackles a monster to protect Jason. Head-on TACKLES it.

Piper have guts in this chapter. I like it. She is much more reckless than Leo and Jason, very "act first, think later" style.

Interesting observation #4: Jason's inhuman durability

Jason gets caught in some lightning from the Venti, who states is powerful enough to vaporize "twenty men"

He shows a super high durability during this hit.

Even tho I would like to observe that he can get hurt by lightning! It doesn't have the healing effects water has on Percy. Just an observation. I have a theory, but that is for a later post.

Interesting observation #5: Jason has aura

One thing I observed during this whole affair at the Grand Canyon is that the enemies (in this case, the Venti things) are a little wary of battling against Jason. It gets explicit in 2 (+1/2?) occasions:

Aura Moment #1: The subordinates Venti are not happy to fight him after seeing what he can do and survive

Aura Moment #2.5: When he slashes them, they don't reform right away. Jason's aura is that powerful or was it consequence of his super classy Imperial Gold blade?

Aura Moment #2: Finally, even their leader, Dylan, gets afraid of Jason after a while

Boy has that energy oozing off of him. Badass aura points +

Interesting observation #6: Even if he has good intuition, Jason is reluctant to save Piper when she slips from the platform.

COACH has to tell him to save her TWICE before he moves. I also find this funny lol.

When she falls, his first action is to not dive after her. In his defense a normal person wouldn't too, especially for a girl they don't actually know. Coach has to tell him what to do, but he still does nothing.

Coach tells him to save her, AGAIN.

AND he still hesitates for a few seconds before letting his guts do the job.

In this scene we can clearly see how Jason narrative has an air of the Logic vs. Instincts theme.

I would like to point out that this is, again, another of these moments where Piper and Jason aren't really clicking. His hesitance has to do with his way of thinking but also with the fact he doesn't know her.

Interesting observation #7: Jason is a VERY selfless character

We already defined he doesn't know anyone here, so logic dictates Jason doesn't own these people anything.

BUT

My boy was READY to DIE with Piper at the Grand Canyon! And he wasn't even phased by his imminent death.

Pause for an observation: Jason isn't afraid of heights. If Thalia was here and not him, Piper would be history by now.

Boy was prepared to die with Piper here. Impressive. Also, very nonchalant about the fact they were dying.

Following chronologically, right after these scenes we have the very first ACTUAL cute scene of Jason/Piper:

Nothing to say here. It wasn't very detailed, didn't made me feel anything at all. We just know Piper's heartbeat went crazy but we don't really know if is because of Jason or because she was free falling the Grand Canyon. I am assuming it was cause she was dying, but maybe that is just me lol.

Interesting observation #8: his powers are similar to Percy's in the beginning, more like the element attending their wishes than actual control

It makes me wonder the actual laws of their abilities, if the elements of their heritage bends to their command forcibly because it doesn't have a choice like it happens to the gods or if the elements of their domain just bends to their will because it listens to their wishes and decides to comply, like Jason describes here, with words like "wished" and "imagined".

Jason doesn't actually fly like superman would, he uses air as a supporting platform, more like buzz lightyear falling with style

Following we have a sequence of mini facts:

1 ) Jason finds easier going down than up (probably because of the effects gravity has on his control)

2) His first thoughts are for Coach and than Leo

Interesting observation #9: More of Jason's amazing instincts kicks moments

I already stated in the previous post that Jason has amazing instincts, but I would like to keep highlighting these super cool moments where his body takes control and muscle memory is stronger than his brains, because he sometimes gets flabbergasted when it happens and I find it funny

Amazing Jason Intuition Moment #1: He is very used to his weapon of choice, even if he doesn't remember where it came from (which is a super classy, I love this coin thing)

Amazing Jason Intuition Moment #2: When he dives 1.200 meters down after Piper. This one was already quoted previously, but it is worthy mentioning again

Amazing Jason Intuition Moment #3: When he half-heartedly tries to convince himself and the others he didn't know how to fly, even if he is already dismissing his rational thinking and slowly believing more in his internal pointers

Amazing Jason Intuition Moment #4: Another muscle memory moment with his super dope weapon

I LOVE autumn and Halloween, and to add to my already massive workload, I’ve decided to bring back last years Halloween event! Below are some autumn/Halloween themed prompts. Under the title there is a short description (?) That doesn't really make sense but pretend it does. You can send as many requests as you like, but each request has a max of 2 characters. If you ask for 2 characters the scenario will be shorter than if you ask for just 1.

Some updates on progress and issues below

The current chapter isn’t really a chapter. For multiple reasons I haven’t been able to write much but I have the outline done and have started working on the first scene!

but additionally because of the upcoming update I am kinda stalling since there is a lot of lore I’ve been waiting to get that i will soon have access to.

For example, Varka… if we already knew stuff about Varka, he probably would’ve been introduced by now ngl. I keep writing in ways where Varka doesn’t become involved in windwheels lore because I’ve been waiting to know more about him before writing him.

I am genuinely excited to write about Varka (and dahila, I’ve wanted to introduce Dahlia for ages his ‘I was on a trip excuse’ is actually really important to how I plan to incorporate him) and feel a little bad that he’s been coming off as an incompetent leader in my writing because I just wasn’t ready to have the expedition become a relevante charater even tho they played such a huge role, which is really my fault. Varka is a good leader guys (I hope)

Also the dodoko devices… that plays a pretty big role next chapter and since venti was seen using the device in the trailer I am waiting for that too—

As I revealed before, Windwheel is currently in the post Inazuma timeline, and post Inazuma was when the second summer event occurred which was when Alice gave The traveler and Venti the first prototype to the Dodokocommunication device (aka a phone) so they are very relevant TOT

However, I have been working on a mini chapter for windwheels other fic in the mean time.

A scene that was cut out from chapter 22 that I still hold really dear to my heart and is kinda relevant for the next chapter on its own. I hope you enjoy that in the mean time once I finish it <3

I do apologize for the wait! But I really want to put all my effort into windwheels chapters and even though the lore is a bit… wonk… compared to canon I still want to follow the canon lore as much as I can without drifting too far off from canon divergence-

There is also the more serious issue of what happened with the AI scrapping on ao3, if you weren’t aware an AI company stole millions of fics off the website including Windwheels and that has affected me a lot. I’m genuinely really upset about it and haven’t said much yet since I need time to think about what I should do/say. I have heard that Ao3 is trying to take legal action so it’s really nothing of my responsibility but it is still something that has made me choose to hold off on writing for the meantime along with the upcoming update.

I'm thinking about creating a Arcane, League of Legends x Genshin Impact crossover AU. The action takes place in Genshin world and the plot is the same, but I decided to put some of the characters from Arcane and League of Legends in the place of the characters from Genshin. Plus a few more of my OC. Here are some of my examples:
