I got this program years ago when I was starting to get more into the health and fitness world. I ended up putting it off and until recently jumped back in and I’m so glad I did! Taking this @precisionnutrition level 1 course has been helping me understand more on nutrition and exercise science. This course pairs nicely with my NASM studies. I’m days away from finishing this program and I can’t put this book down. I always hear great things about this program and I have to agree. Here's another homemade snack/meal replacement bar I eat. The small amount of oats in each serving (14.2g) is pretty much the only source of grains/refined carbohydrate in my diet. The oats help it stick together and give a really nice chewiness, however you can replace the oats with another 100g of coconut and a tablespoon of honey. Also simply replacing the whey protein with a vegan protein keeps them vegan friendly. Ingredients: 100g Oats 100g Dessicated Coconut 50g Linwoods flaxseed mix 100g Whey Protein 200g Natural Peanut Butter ½ cup of water Method: Mix everything together, pour into a grease proof paper lined tray or lunch box and refrigerate to set. I get asked this ALL time. “What should I eat after my workout?” - so here are a few ideas for if have time to prepare or if you you’re in a rush - the 4 on the left take a bit longer and the 4 on the right are super quick ⚡️⚡️ . The trend is to get in your protein and carbs. This is a great time to replenish your energy levels as your body can absorb food very well after a workout . The amount you eat will depend on what your goal is. Keep in mind that you may feel hungrier than you actually are so make sure that you keep that mind if you’re trying to lose weight . I’d also like to mention that there is no RUSH to get your food in after your workout. Your gain will not be lost if you wait over 30 minutes. You’ll probably be hungry though and eat within an hour or 2 anyway 😊 .
