Alright so Hotchniss shippers…. I was not on board i simply decided to dip my toes in and see how the waters felt… well i just watched the season 7 finale and that water felt so good i decided to dive on in. He notices her tell and offers a listening ear and this queen says “its a date” jump to the dance floor scene and I am convinced that our sexy king was willing to risk it all when he danced with Emily, she was weighing her thoughts cause…. Just… look. At. This. Scene.

He has hardly smiled that wide often and soon after that he then went to contemplate his choices…..

Nocturnal Detective Agency Age Headcanon

Yakou Furio: Oldest and the father figure and Chief of the Nocturnal Detective Agency. Middle-aged, but that is a pretty ambiguous age-range actually. The prequel novel focused on Yakou did say it took place more than a decade before the game, so his age could be his 30s.

Vivia Twilight: The second oldest and technically the oldest of the five younger detectives. I just think it would be funny that the most unmotivated and laziest is the oldest of the five younger detectives. He is in mid 20s.

Halara Nightmare: The third oldest and actual responsible one (as a detective). They are in their early-mid 20s.

Fubuki Clockford: The fourth oldest of the detectives and one of the younger detective group alongside Yuma and Desuhiko. She is a year older than Desuhiko, and two years older than Yuma. The ambiguity of her age would be 19 to her early 20s.

Desuhiko Thunderbolt: One of the younger members of the detectives. He seems close to Yuma’s age, yet also just a little bit older, so I imagine him to be like a year older than Yuma. So his estimated hc age would be 18-19.

Yuma Kokohead: The youngest of the Agency, and also the leader of the World Detective Organization as Number One. I actually like to believe that Yuma actually recently became Number One a few years prior to Rain Code, and has been training for the role since he was young. It wouldn’t be farfetched from Kodaka since in Danganronpa, some of the Ultimate Students were working already despite still being in high school, and Kyoko join a top neutral detective organization at the age of 13 years old. In-game, he would probably be 17-18 (like if he were in his last year of high school age).

Trying to listen to Christian music and my areas Christian radio station: refreshingly apolitical from what I have seen, generally positive.

Trying to listen to a sermon or listening in on a Christian “small group”: all the typical right wing tangents about immigrants, pro-Israel anti-Palestine rhetoric, anti trans rhetoric. False assumption that left leaning people are the same as “wealthy liberal elites” who supposedly don’t like immigrants in their own neighborhoods???

Make it make sense 🙄.

I’m genuinely worried from what I hear listening to my parents and their friends and not knowing how to respond. I fear these people outnumber us 😳

How do I respond when I hear my parents and their friends make these claims??

i think i'm in a minority of people who actually do prefer josette in her ghost form, before we meet her in 1795 — which is maybe a product of less is more? letting your imagination run away with you? but i really like the air of mystery, and tragedy, and ... a porous myth, laying over the whole story. I tend to be a little more fond of the mythos version of the family history as opposed to the one that's told to us in time travel: that jeremiah was cruel, and josette suffered, but they suffered because human hearts are messy and getting involved with your husband's nephew can only really lead to tragedy. (as opposed to later tellings, where there is no fault placed on either josette or jeremiah, or barnabas, and everything stems from angelique's curse) and I love the way she functions as a device, protecting the lost and lonely and friendless kids (david and vicki) because, in the story, she was so lonely, and that lead to her death. so she intervenes, even with people who may or may not be blood collinses. (she wasn't! she was a collins by marriage!) for me ... I think she works better as a character who haunts the narrative, but she works really, really well as a haunting. the eternal ghost bride haunting the cliff called widows' hill, so-named because the collins family drove local wives to such suffering, widowhood, exile? the childless, unhappy collins wife protecting a distant collins descendant from his biological mother — and allying with his metaphorical mother? protecting vicki from dying before her time, before she can die as she's fated to on the cliff, which is at best ambiguously merciful? gosh i love her. i could ramble forever.

How many times did she make food for herself and take it back to her room to avoid these new people she didn’t quite trust? How many “family” meals did she avoid before finally joining in and feeling like she belonged?
