Pursuing a PhD is a rigorous academic endeavor that demands dedication, extensive research, and a deep understanding of the subject matter. One of the most challenging aspects of this journey is writing a comprehensive thesis that encapsulates years of research and contributes new knowledge to the field. For many scholars in India, balancing research, writing, and personal commitments can be overwhelming. This is where professional Phd Thesis Writing Help India comes into play, offering reliable academic support to ensure that scholars can produce high-quality work without compromising on their academic goals.
The Importance of a Well-Written PhD Thesis
A PhD thesis is not just a document; it is a culmination of years of hard work, research, and intellectual inquiry. It is a critical component of a scholar's academic journey, serving as the foundation for their future career in academia or industry. A well-written thesis demonstrates the scholar's ability to conduct independent research, analyze complex information, and contribute original ideas to their field. It is also a key factor in determining the outcome of the PhD degree, as it is rigorously evaluated by academic committees.
Given the significance of the thesis, it is essential that it is meticulously written, well-structured, and thoroughly researched. However, many scholars face challenges in achieving this, often due to time constraints, language barriers, or lack of familiarity with academic writing standards.
Common Challenges in PhD Thesis Writing
Writing a PhD thesis is a complex and time-consuming process that involves several stages, from literature review and data collection to analysis and conclusion. Here are some common challenges faced by PhD scholars in India:
Time Management: Balancing research, writing, and other academic responsibilities can be difficult. Many scholars struggle to find the time to write their thesis while also conducting experiments, attending conferences, and fulfilling teaching responsibilities.
Language Proficiency: For non-native English speakers, academic writing in English can be particularly challenging. Even those who are proficient in English may find it difficult to express complex ideas in a clear and concise manner.
Research and Analysis: Conducting thorough research and analyzing data can be daunting tasks. Scholars may find it challenging to organize their findings, interpret results, and present them in a coherent manner.
Adhering to Academic Standards: Academic writing requires adherence to strict formatting, citation, and ethical standards. Many scholars struggle with the technical aspects of writing, such as citation styles, plagiarism checks, and maintaining a consistent academic tone.
Writer’s Block: The pressure to produce a high-quality thesis can lead to writer's block, where scholars find themselves unable to write or progress in their work. This can be particularly frustrating and demotivating.

Confidentiality and Ethical Standards: Choose a service that guarantees confidentiality and adheres to ethical standards. The integrity of your research is paramount, and the service should respect your intellectual property.
Client Reviews and Testimonials: Look for reviews and testimonials from other PhD scholars who have used the service. Positive feedback can be a good indicator of the service’s reliability and quality.
Customization and Support: Opt for a service that offers personalized support and is willing to customize its offerings to meet your specific needs. This could include one-on-one consultations, tailored writing assistance, and flexible delivery options.
Transparent Pricing: Ensure that the pricing is transparent and reflects the scope of work. Avoid services that offer extremely low prices, as this could indicate a compromise on quality.
Writing a PhD thesis is a challenging but rewarding experience. It’s Stan’s 2nd time in prison and he is bored.
The food is edible, his cellmates are quiet and polite and even the guards treat him with the bare minimum of respect.
Needless to say, Stan hates it.
Boredom means Stan has time to think about what could’ve been if he had been smarter, better and more like Ford.
If Stan had just known how to fix Ford’s project, maybe he’d still be someone worth keeping around.
With nothing better to do, Stan one day decides to visit the prison library and finds a few boxes full of engineering textbooks abandoned in a corner.
What if Stan could’ve fixed Ford’s project. Could it even have been possible?
Stan swallows hard and picks up the first book.
Meanwhile on the other side of the continent.
“Oh no no no.”
“What is it Fiddleford?”
“I donated the wrong books! All my notes and corrections were in there…”
Stan snorts as he keeps on reading. This McGucket fellow was hilarious.
The book by itself would’ve never kept Stan’s attention, but the notes, snarky remarks, blueprints for villainous contraptions and death rays? Now that’s the stuff!
Over the next months Stan devours one book after the other and when he finally gets released he’s allowed to take the boxes with him as a thank you for fixing and improving the prison’s new experimental computer system.
***
A couple of years later Fiddleford opens the door to a little robot stomping around on the front porch. Mechanical legs on a toaster body with googly eyes that Fiddleford suspects can see more meets the eye.
He kneels down to inspect the cute little fellow when it suddenly notices him, vibrates and starts to talk.
“THANK. YOU. FOR. THE. BOOKS. NERD.”
Fiddleford has no time to figure out what that means before a book shoots out from the slot and hits him right in the head.
“HA. HA. HA.”
The little bot laughs and explodes into fireworks.
Fiddleford watches the show in amazement and inspects his present.
Beginners Guide to Mechanical Engineering
But not any guide. His guide. The one he carried with him throughout college and kept improving upon whenever he could.
Only now there are more notes added. Corrections to his corrections, complaints about his design choices and disagreements with his theories.
Oh, it’s on!
***
It takes a few days to find the person behind the little prank, an anonymous entrepreneur who is said to be self taught and on the verge of reinventing the world of computers and robotics as they know it.
Things that people have also been saying about Fiddleford himself.
Fiddleford laughs in delight. He always liked a friendly competition!
So he sends his new rival a little killer robot of his own as a greeting.
***
If Stanford had known what asking his old college buddy to help him out with the portal would entail he would’ve thought twice about inviting him.
It’s not like he isn’t happy for Fiddleford. He clearly found a like minded individual with the same passion for destruction as himself but would it kill them to keep it quiet for once? Stanford is doing important work here!
[Besides if Stanford wanted to he could totally build robots as well. Better ones even. Fiddleford shouldn’t spend so much of his free time fighting with his rival when his best friend was right here!]
Stanford sighs as yet another explosion causes the ground to shake and feels something push against his leg.
It’s a little possum-like robot bringing him a bottle of water courtesy of Fiddleford’s rival.
Apparently this mystery person felt bad about destroying Stanford’s house one time too many and gifted him this little helper as an apology.
Try as he might, Stanford is unable to hate the thing and lets it climb onto his lap.
“At least you want to keep me company, hm?”
He strokes the fake fur carefully and the robot rumbles in contentment. It feels nostalgic and he knows Stanley would’ve loved it.
Maybe Ford should call him.

When it comes to Aziraphale and Crowley’s relationship in heaven, I do like the delicious angst that comes with the idea that they were lovers in heaven and were torn apart by the fall but I think my favorite interpretation is that Aziraphale fell in love with Crowley while he was an angel, Crowley only loved him back when he became a demon
It wasn’t that Crowley disliked Aziraphale in heaven. Not at all, in fact, he liked him quite a lot and Aziraphale helped him with many of his projects. It was just that, as an angel, Crowley was “in love” with his work. He didn’t notice Aziraphale’s feelings, and Aziraphale was fine with that. It was enough just to be welcome at the side of this strange but passionate, honest, fearlessly authentic angel for eternity. More than enough
And then he fell, and Aziraphale’s heart broke, but he had no choice but to accept the angel he knew was gone. The angels demons were stopped existing the moment they turned against Her will
But Crowley, fallen, bitter, and confused Crowley, he no longer had work he loved. He no longer had anything he cared about except- for Aziraphale. For his old heavenly helper. The one thing that Crowley found familiar and that is when he finally noticed, truly noticed, Aziraphale
Crowley would fall in love with Aziraphale on the wall, when he realized there was one angel still in heaven that actually deserved to be called an angel. Aziraphale would spend 6,000 years trying to not to be in love with Crowley as after all, that angel was fallen. Gone. In all the ways that mattered.
It was only after Crowley saved his books that Aziraphale had to face the reality: the angel he loved had never gone away, Crowley had always been Crowley in all the ways that mattered, and Aziraphale would love him from the start of all of existence to its end. If it was ever to end
He could not be with Crowley, he was a demon, his enemy, but he had made his peace with that. It’s enough just to be welcome at the side of this strange but passionate, honest, fearlessly authentic demon for eternity. That has to be enough
I like that way of looking at it

GOOD MEN DIE TOO

Pairing: Benny Cross x Female!Reader
Summary: Danny finally gets and interview with you after years of trying, and he finds out how different was your perspective about Benny.
Warning: Benny being pathetic, not being able to win a fight, slight toxic¿
Note: Crush by Ethel Cain is Benny’s song, can’t change my mind. Hey, I wanted to write this for Benny SO BAD! Hope you like it 🫶
1971, Florida.
Danny had found you again, and he wanted to finish his project. It had been about 6 years perhaps? You looked different, you didn’t wear false lashes and your hair wasn’t huge like back in 1965. He didn’t see you much back then, you were as quiet as Benny, and Benny was rather possessive, he never really allowed you to talk to Danny.
“So Benny, he was shooting them glasses after our fight. I had been doin’ wash day, because he’s a pig and his clothes are always stained with oil and sweat. I looked through his bottom drawers and he had a gun! I freaked out, of course. I was scared one of our babies could stumble upon it!”
“Benny, the hell is this?” You practically rushed downstairs, Benny was wearing a wifebeater, denim pants, smoking a cigarette as he watched TV.
“It ain’t mine.” He answered, his ever-so-serious demeanor.
“It ain’t yours? Then it must have magically appeared in my damn house.” You raised your voice, he furrowed his eyebrows. “I don’t want none of these damn things in here.”
“Don’t be so nagging, woman. It ain’t mine, I swear it.” He took a drag from his cigarette.
“He kept bein’ defensive, I’m not really sure why. He kept lying, but I sure did remember seeing his bulking back pocket one time I bailed his ass outta jail. The gun was from an officer, he stole it. Til this day he denies it being his. But he know that I know the truth.” You laughed, Benny was a case, truly a case.
“About Benny, I asked you bout his family. But you never answered back then.” Danny said.
“His daddy was a deadbeat, but Benny says it proudly, he had to step up. Work, help his mama out. Back then, I could say 53’? His friends moved them mommy helper’s pills. He never tried ‘em, he’s never tried anything other than cigarettes and liquor. He’s never had a problem saying no, he’s always been— on his own. He doesn’t follow no one.
His older brother bagged this chick, the valedictorian. Real important gal, the pride of town. And Benny bagged me, I wasn’t in his mama’s expectations. I worked as a maid. Ha, you should’ve seen how his mama was every time Benny actually took us there, which was a rare occasion, Benny loves his mama but he ain’t the family type. His mama would constantly tell him to be like his brother.”
You had been watching Benny closely lately, making sure he didn’t get into trouble. But turns out, trouble followed him. You knew this when you first met him, he wasn’t the type of guy to settle down, have a family, live the picket fence life. You thought you could change that.
But when you had to start to bail his ass out of jail or take care of him after a fight. Or both! But you did it out of love, although you weren’t proud of it, because you were making him think that he could always get in trouble and you would be there to fix it.
You had to bail his ass out of jail again, this time, he had robbed a corner store, cigarettes and a beer. The owner, while an old man, could fight real good, he got Benny’s ass and knocked him down. Benny could not fight to save his life, he always lost one way or another.
“If you had seen him.” He said as he laid in bed, smoking a cigarette, his arm was broken. “You should’ve seen how I left that old fuck.”
“Damn right, Benny, damn right.” You rolled your eyes in annoyance, you held your child on your lap.
“My son had a loser for a father. I’m not exaggerating, now I see it. Back then Benny was not good news.”
“Ya ain’t believing’ me?” He took a glance at you.
“Benny, you have a broken arm. Of course I don’t believe ya.” You said, looking at him with an ‘are you serious?’ Look on your face.
“It was worth it.” Benny said, looking away. As if he was proud of being beaten down by an old man, a veteran, at all that.
“You idiot.” You scoffed, getting up from the chair and walking out the bedroom.
“Doll, wait—“
“He was an idiot. He was too pathetic to win a fight he started. There are hard odds to beat once you’re all on fours.” You said, then taking a drag from your cigarette, Danny laughed.
“What do you mean?”
“That he was getting fucked by the veteran. When police arrived, the old man had Benny on the floor.”
“And no one ever warned you about Benny? About his behaviors?”
“Johnny did. He was always tellin’ me that I shouldn’t care too much about Benny. He ain’t that serious. And I listened.”
You only wanted Benny when he wanted you back, you learned the hard way that you couldn’t dwell every time he left you without a single word.
You stopped waiting for him and continued on with your life, as if nothing had happened. When he came back, you treated it like a normal Thursday.
“You’re back.” You said as you were watching tv with your child, you didn’t even bother to look at him.
“I am.” He expected you to come and hug him, ask him where he had been, how was he, if something had happened. But you didn’t.
“There’s dinner on the table.” You said, a part of you wanted to worry. Wanted to know if he was okay, if he got in a fight, if he had slept with another woman. “And bills on the refrigerator.”
“He couldn’t even pay the club’s fees. But I wanted to punish him for it.
But he made up for it that night, that’s when our second kid was conceived. He smells like Marlboro reds and Benny does know how to use his hands. I will always appreciate that. I couldn’t get enough of him.
For whatever faults he has, he hasn’t laid with another woman. Not that I know of— if he has, best believe I’m using a shot-gun.”
You had been having an on going argument with Benny, your second child had been born and he hadn’t been there. You had some complications and you had needed him.
The reason was: he was wearing his colors. He didn’t want to take them off, he’d rather miss the birth of his child than take off his damn jacket.
“Johnny, Zipco, hell— even Funny Sonny tried to get him to follow the hospital’s guidelines. But he didn’t care. He just, left me alone. I cried, of course I did. Fifteen hours in labor and all I wanted was my husband and he wasn’t there. Our Jack was born sick and he wasn’t there.”
Benny was upstairs, looking for his damn lighter, you went upstairs, looking for him.
“Benny? What’cha doin’?” You asked as you entered the bedroom, you were a complete wreck because you took care of a two year old and a newborn.
“Nothin’” He answered to you nonchalantly as he put on his jacket.
“Look, I need to talk to ya.” You said, rubbing your chin softly.
“I gotta be in some place.”
“Well, we all gotta be in some place. You know?” You said a bit more softly. Your hormones were at a carousel, up and down. Benny sighed and leaned back on the dresser.
“What is it?” He asked you, as if your voice was the last thing he wanted to hear
“I can’t live like this no more.” You said, holding back tears. You were serious. “I can’t. We can’t. Me and the boys. You weren’t there, for your son, Benny. You didn’t even hold him. I didn’t even know what to do when Johnny said he was the father to make sure our boy was okay.”
“Johnny said Jack made it out fine. He took care of everything.” Benny said, as if that could make up for everything.
“That’s not true, he isn’t the father. You didn’t see him. How could you know? I mean, you weren’t there.” You said, shaking your head in disbelief.
“I know. And I’m sorry-“
“You weren’t there!” You interrupted him. Raising your voice. He stared at you like you were one mad woman.
“If Johnny hadn’t been there to argue with the nurses to let me see Jack then I sure as hell would be in jail right now. I know I always say that people that assault medical personnel are crazy sons of bitched but I guess I am one. Because they took my Jack, and I didn’t know if he was alive or not.”
“Benny was staring at me. He has this thing. When he’s holding back tears, the sides of his eyes get reddish, so does his nose. I saw him. He wanted to cry. For the first time I thought he’d trust me enough to cry.”
“What do you want me to do now?” He asked.
“I want you to quit riding. Quit the club.” You said firmly.
“Don’t ask that.” He shook his head, as if what you were asking was a crazy thing. Something otherworldly.
“I was thinking we could go somewhere. You told me about this cousin of yours in Florida. Let’s just go there, Benny.” You said, you weren’t outright begging but your eyes said otherwise.
Benny didn’t speak, he didn’t. He kept staring at you and then at his feet as if he was thinking of your proposition.
“Benny?” You called for him, he didn’t answer. Again, you said his name but you raised your voice. “Benny!”
“What?!” He snapped at you, slamming his foot onto the dresser. “What do you think this is? Hm? What did you ever think this was gonna be?”
“I stared at him in disbelief. I mean, I was his wife. The mother of his children and yet he still believed we were just playin’ house. I knew, I knew he believed I just tried to piss him off so that he would hate me. Or that maybe I was crazy.”
“For the boys. Benny?” You asked, years pricking your eyes. But he turned his head away.
“I gotta go meet Johnny.” He said before walking out the bedroom.
“He didn’t pour a single tear. I tried to play tough, I did. But deep inside I just wanted to see him show any trace of sadness. Anything. Because in such way, I could finally prove that he loved me. Because he only cried with the people he loved, there was a reason why he didn’t cry at his father’s funeral.”
Benny had left again, this time you hadn’t seen him since Cockroach had disappeared into thin air after the incident with the new Vandals.
The club was different now, there was something about it. You hung out at the same bar, but Johnny had lost control over the club he himself created.
Alone with the kids at home, you heard a knock on the door. You were actually thinking of leaving Benny. But you hadn’t decided when.
You weren’t going to open the door but you saw through the window that it was Johnny on his car. You opened the door to prevent him from leaving.
“Hey, Johnny.” You walked out and stood on the porch steps.
“Hey, y/n. How’re the kids?” He asked you, you crossed your arms, it was cold outside
“Good. They’re good. Tucked on their bedroom, it has gotten real cold.” You said, chuckling. Johnny chuckled but then he stared at you, he was going to ask about Benny, you knew.
“Benny ever came back around?”
“No. Actually, I haven’t seen him in almost a year now. I’ve been actually indecisive if to pack my bags or not.” You said, sitting down at the porch steps.
“That sounds right, doll.” Johnny nodded. Johnny cared about you. And your boys, and he cared for Benny too. He was family. Whether you liked it or not, he had helped a lot when Benny wasn’t around.
“I guess neither of us got him in the end.” You said, you both had a slight rivalry since you entered Benny’s life.
“I guess not.” He said, the rivalry had been long forgotten. “Y’know, you can give it all you got to a thing, and it’s still gonna do what’s gonna do.” He said, a small smile on his face.
“Well, that’s Benny and I for the world.” You chuckled, smiling.
“You don’t have to overthink it. If ya leave the kid, leave him. He ain’t changin’, he won’t. It ain’t happenin’.” Johnny smiled. “And I ain’t blaming ya. He’s not stopping for anyone.”
“You’re a good man, Johnny.” You admitted, playing with the fabric of your long sleeve sweater. “Thank you.” You smiled at him.
“Take it easy. It ain’t nothing wrong if you stay or leave.” He smiled, getting into his car. Driving off.
“From what I heard, one of them new kids shot him. You believe that? Johnny wasn’t a rebel, he ain’t a good-for nothing man. He was a good. A family guy. A loyal man. There won’t ever be another Johnny.
Once Johnny got killed, it was the end of the golden age of motorcycles. After that, that fucking kid took over and turned the Vandals into a gang. Running drugs, gambling, prostitution. If I ever complained about what it was before, I take it back.”
“What about Benny?” Danny asked you, you shook your head.
You hadn’t left Benny, you couldn’t bring yourself to do so. Not after he came back. You knew that Johnny’s death affected him deeply but the didn’t show it. You sat by his side on the porch after Johnny’s service. If Benny didn’t talk before now he was completely mute.
You saw the side of his eyes and nose get reddish. And his breathing labored, he turned to look at you.
“And that’s the first time I saw Benny cry. Like a baby. I just hugged him, what else could I do? I wanted to cry too. I knew he tried to be strong but in the end he just hugged me back.
We paid a last visit to Johnny’s grave before movin’ here to Florida. We both were smokin’ I remember.”
You and Benny were in front of the grave, smoking. You were just there, staring at the tombstone. You couldn’t believe it, none of you two could.
“That’s when I knew we all went to the same place in the end. Good or bad. I ain’t never seen Benny despise his colors more than ever.
You know knew that both bad and good men ended up all six feet under. If Johnny hadn’t died, you would have left Benny. You were sure of it.
“Does he still ride?” Danny asked you, he was happy that he finally got to see Benny through your eyes.
“No. No, ever since Johnny died. Benny don’t ride no more. And you know what? I don’t think he misses it.” You said, Danny smiled but he didn’t believe you. How could he? When all he had heard about Benny was that he wouldn’t trade his bike for nothing.
You stood up to wash both yours and Danny’s coffee mug.
“And things are good now. We’re happy. Benny works for his cousin now and things are real good. Our boys are in good schools.” You stared out the window to see Benny on his mechanic uniform, sandy blond hair, beard, sideburns. You stared at him through the kitchen window. “We’re happy.” He looked up at you, and he smiled with his lips closed, he chose you.
He didn’t wear his hair like he did before, he just didn’t smile like he did before, he didn’t wear those horrid old black boots anymore. He wasn’t the same, nor were his kisses. He had changed, completely. And something was missing inside of him, a part of him died when he stopped riding. His heart was still in the streets.
You turned to face Danny and spoke with a smirk. “Cause good men die too, so I’d rather be with him.”

The Creative Process ‧₊˚✩彡
Because I love to be distracted
Hi! Ok, I wanted to share wif everyone my process in which I create a story post from conception to the final post. I would say I'm a very structured person when it comes to projects like these however, I've learned a lot and maybe someone could find something useful! We'll be referencing this scene. Oke, let's start!
✩ Rough Drafts
So, of course everything starts off with a vision. While I always say, write what feels authentic to you, I also know it makes things much more difficult if you don't have a solid ground to build from. I think I've scrapped this particular story about twice already and even reshot the first chunk of Tessellate so there was a better foundation. I like to start off with understanding a character before moving onto creating a plot, otherwise people start bleed into another. Greta Gerwig makes a really awesome statement about how characters come first to her before plot. OKE with that in mind, this particular scene, I wrote it well over a year ago, however there wasn't much flow in the initial draft. In fact, the two look nothing alike. This conversation was supposed to occur during France's concert, but I moved it to to this particular scene and I'm so glad. I felt like their current relationship was strong enough to have this conversation but also it allowed me to really focus in on the two. I am a huge advocate for jotting down dialogue even if things change because you can always expand on an idea. And if things don't work, scrapping is okay, but at least you gave it a shot! After that change, I didn't revisit that scene up until about a month and a half ago. I like to let things sit for a good while. In the initial draft, Taryn was reserved throughout a majority of the conversation. There was limitations in which how I wanted her to express things but things change in a year. When I looked at her as a character and how she's progressed throughout the story, the draft no longer aligned with her lack of response. And then that created the question of what the heck does one say? Because people aren't typically very graceful or eloquent when it comes to confrontation but also we're telling a story so how do I balance the two out? Since, I've followed these little blorbos for a while, knowing their characters and motives allowed me to flesh everything out. Atlas is much more cunning than he lets on and is excellent at painting a pretty picture for those around him if it means getting what he wants. Taryn on the other hand is perceptive and unwavering so being around someone like him, someone that she finds herself slowly falling for, is a complete, well, mind fuck. We can also see from this interaction that there's a hint of feeling inadequate and the lack of confidence to know that maybe he does like her. We also see that Atlas maybe isn't the most mature when it comes to developing something real so the two have plenty to work on just from this scene alone. Like Greta Gerwig says, writing is listening.
I also wanted to mention LocalScriptMan and this video all the time because it just about changed how I viewed dialogue in general. I think it's such a great tool! I've probably shared it a billion times.
✩ Blender & Posemaking
So I would like to preface this by saying, you do not need to use blender to achieve a vision. There are still scenes that I still use poses/animations from other creators! I wanted to list a few references! Rebouks, Rascgal and Simmireen have an amazing variety of poses to use! I literally use Becca's bumper packs RELIGOUSLY! However, if you need any suggestions, SurelySim's has an excellent breakdown on getting started with posemaking from tiny details, to SimRipper and using accessories! She also talks about Vyxated's Pose Helper which is a god send! For this scene I wanted to fully pose it. In my script, I italicize anything I want to pose, I'm such a sucker for the mannerisms that people have. When words fail, body language speaks. Are they fidget-y, or do I imagine them to be more composed? Taryn's stance is grounded, she doesn't move at all in the scene except for when she leaves and I think it's a great representation of her stubbornness. Whereas Atlas is watching every single move, up until he makes his incredibly bold (ridiculous!) statement. As for emotion when he made that statement, I wanted to go with shame but then I felt like his expression radiated ruthlessness. I personally enjoyed that 10x more because it represented two things for me, his character and that he felt comfortable enough to show that part of himself. When posing a scene from start to finish, it takes me about 1-3 days depending on how complex it is. I'm a huge advocate for using references! I love referencing hands, posture, how to grab a book ANYTHING! Because this was a conversation and not much action happened, it took me about a day.
✩ Taking Screenshots and Composition
I began taking photos for this scene on March 6th. I use to use this reshade preset by growfruit however, after tinkering with some settings I use like a mish-mash blorbo of a preset. Amobae and Sforz have some cool LUT's for download (I think of it like a filter? That's probably not what it is but MEH) and I love the qUINT's lightroom shader as well. Huge advocate of relight, I was today years old when I learn that you should load it at the top of your shaders order so you don't get like a weird whitecast. These spotlights though are super fun too if you don't use reshade! There are some photographers on instagram that even go over how to use lightroom and it can translate to game as well! For the most part, I try to keep screenshots pretty simple, editing-wise but there are moments when I doodle in little hairs, add in some texture and include shadows for, uh, DRAMAAA. Lately, I've been incorporating intricate fonts because idk sometimes my brain enjoys a little graphic design moment. Sometimes shooting conversation heavy scenes can get so repetitive so I like to look at film stills on pinterest or pay close attention to a film and how they present the camera work in a conversation. Rule of thirds is a great reference tool to use, I believe GShade has a shader for that. However it's okay to experiment, it's not an end all be all. I love looking at animators and how each frame is incredibly intentional, whether it's a shot from above or a really close frame. The beginning of this scene, I honestly didn't have a clue as to how I wanted to open it up since they were walking down a hall. Then I noticed the detail in the fencing and how the tiles were opposite. Using the TOOL mod, I was able to get them both in the center and it created a strong opening shot of how different these two are.
✩ Editing
My god, I love editing but also this is usually the moment where I get so freaking distracted. This process takes me a day if I am focused.... But realistically it takes three days.... That's why I try to keep things to a minimum. I do use Photoshop. I like to use this sharpening action (the other actions are awesome too!) for story posts, I crop each photo (I use a 9:5 ratio and a 16:6 ratio if I need to focus on something specific idk why i picked those numbers yo), and add in text. Dafont has a lot of different free fonts. I like to use these little guidelines if sentences needs to be centered.
For adding umph to text, I like to use two things: The warped text option when using the type tool or just going to the distort panel and using the wave option!
Also bottom right of your layers channel is an fx layer. I like to use stroke and drop shadow on all text so it doesn't get lost within a photo!
✩ Finalization and My Schedule
That story post was uploaded on March 29th. As of right now, I like to stay three weeks ahead so I have three weeks worth of story posts marinating in my queue LMAO. I always reread things like a bajillion times, sometimes I'll go back and tweak conversations if they feel a bit stiff. Having that three week buffer also gives me time to really dedicate myself to details and focus on being present with a future scene. Another perk is, it allows me to work on cleaning up the script, plotting for future arcs, and having fun with edits. When I used to upload story videos on youtube, I didn't really plan ahead and it was so chaotic for me. Sometimes I didn't have enough time to actually create a solid episode so things felt rushed because on top of that I had a schedule I committed to. This isn't necessary but structure and patterns is something my little brain needs.
I hope this maybe provided some tips for people wanting to start out or it was just a fun little thing to read! One final OP tip is to write about something that you enjoy, something that matters to you. I'm one mf that loves a fleshed out character arc, that doesn't like linear plots and for fucks sake I love a good slow burn and I think all of that reflects a lot which helps me be engaged.

#damn me really talking about my hyperfixation with the fellow gamers#there might be hella run ons sorry my brain is a run on i don't control dat#u get one sneak peak too in the film roll#i wish i had rough drafts of dialogue but bc i use google docs i don't have any prior copies >.<#idk wtf to tag this#tessellate: extras#sims 4 story#sims 4 story tips#creative process

Whenever I’m feeling particularly down these days, I always try to remind myself of Mr. Rogers and his quote about looking for the helpers. More than that, I try to think of ways I can be a helper, even if it’s just offering emotional support to someone I care about. Throughout dark times in history, there have always been people resisting and trying to do the right thing. I’m tired, but I’m still here, and that matters. For these next few years, I think it’s more important than ever to find those pieces of good news that show people are still making a positive impact in the world.
The final bit of hope I keep close to me is something my father said. After the election, he told me that tomorrow the sun will still rise and tomorrow will still come. It’s up to each of us to help make that tomorrow a better one.
I think we all of us shouldn't just look for others to do the helping, after all Mr. Rogers advice was for children and about watching big events on the news.
but even with big events on the news, Fred Rogers said that "look for the helpers" line in his 9/11 special when he returned from retirement, and as an aside remember when children's entertainment tried to challenge kids and give them real subjects? He did an episode on assassinations once too. Any ways, on 9/11 and in the days after average every day people dropped what they were doing to help how they could, the actor Steve Buscemi was a firefighter in the 1980s and returned during 9/11 spending long long days digging through rubble in the week after 9/11. Kevin Conroy the voice of Batman worked in a kitchen feeding volunteers and search and rescue crews.
To briefly become a reform Jewish stereotype, in my faith we are called on to repair the world, tikkun olam, in Hebrew. I don't think any of us have the power to alone repair the whole of the world, but I think we should set before ourselves a way to repair our small corner of the earth.
I think thats what I'm taking for the next 4 years, what real substantive thing in my local space can I do that helps make the world better. Look for local elections, school board, local resource board, county office, that you can get involved it to elect someone good and cool who inspires you. Is there a ballot measure a local or state one you can be involved with that makes you feel good. Can you volunteer at a soup kitchen? or start a local green project or start a LGBT support group, or join one? start a club or safe space for Queer kids at the local library or school (if you work in such a place) etc
if everyone puts a little effort into their corner of the world it'll all add up it really will.
and yes don't let the bastards get you down, and I really think having a little flower that you're growing is the best way to not let the big picture get you down, find people around you that you believe in that inspire you and connect and grow.

15 years ago today - (09.09.09)
Swedish actor Alexander Skarsgård plays the powerful vampire Eric on HBO's series True Blood. His Guest DJ set was emotional and revealing as he chose to dedicate each of his five songs to people that play an important part in his life -- including his father, actor Stellan Skarsgard, a lost love and an old friend. True Blood's Season 2 finale airs September 13.
For More: True Blood, Season 2
Tracks Rolling Stones: Mothers Little Helper Ebba Grön: 800 °C The Buzzcocks: Ever Fallen in Love Van Morrison: Brown Eyed Girl Iggy Pop: The Passenger
Transcript:
Anne Litt: Hi, I am Anne Litt and I am here with the actor Alexander Skarsgard who stars in the popular vampire drama series True Blood on HBO. He plays the powerful vampire Eric. Today, we will be playing excerpts of songs he has selected that have inspired him over the years as part of KCRW'S Guest DJ Project.
Alex, what did you bring us today?
Alexander Skarsgard: I brought 5 songs that I'd want to dedicate to people – five people that play or have played an important part in my life.
AL: What a great idea. Let's start with Rolling Stones "Mother's Little Helper"
AS: I spent a week at my Dad's country house in southern Sweden. His grandfather built that house 9 years ago and my dad, it's very important to him to maintain it like the way it was built, to preserve it and not to modernize it too much. So, there is no running water there. If you want to take a shower you have to go out to the well and pump up water and pour it over yourself. When I was a kid, me and my Dad would go out and pump up water, pour it over each other and sing this song. So I want to dedicate this song to my old man and I want to thank him for not building a jacuzzi out there or an infinity pool or anything like that.
Song: Rolling Stones" Mother's Little Helper
AS: At the time , I didn't know a word of English but it didn't stop me from shouting, ‘ra pa doo pa da da dee…' I just made up jibberish but it was just a beautiful thing to share with my Dad singing that song. I couldn't care less what we were saying."
AL: That was the Rolling Stones, "Mother's Little Helper." I am here with Alex Skarsgard on KCRW's Guest DJ Project. What's the next dedication?
AS: When I was a teenager I was a punk rocker. This was in the early 90's and it was like 15 years after it was cool to be a punk rocker. Everyday after school I would bring my boombox out to this park and I would sit there with my friends singing and watch the sunset and listen to loud, angry, fast music. One of my best friends from back then, he's sick. He's been in and out of the hospital for a couple of years now. This is like an old Swedish punk song from the late 70's that I would like to dedicate to him. I hope he gets better soon so we can get a chance to drink cheap beer and bitch about the decay of our civilization. This is Ebba Grön (dedicates it to his friend in Swedish)
Song: Ebba Grön's 800 °C
AS: I was kind of a half ass punk rocker. I didn't go full punk. Ebba Grön started the Swedish punk wave in the mid-70's so this was 15 years after that but we loved this band and listened to them all the time.
AL: Are they still around?
AS: They're not but they are still very, very famous in Sweden. I still love them and think they are an amazing band.
AL: I am Anne Litt from KCRW and we are here with Alex Skarsgard. This is KCRW's Guest DJ Project and the next song I want to talk about is the Buzzcocks' "Ever Fallen in Love."
AS: Yeah, I had this girlfriend awhile ago, many years ago, and it was a very passionate relationship. I was very much in love with this girl, but after a few months we both realized we weren't good for each other. But it was one of those relationships that we didn't make each other happy, but every time we broke up, we ended up back together and that went on for almost 3 years. I don't know if you've experienced that, but it just killed me. It was really, really tough. I just tried to move on and so did she but we just couldn't. I want to dedicate this song to her and I hope she found happiness somewhere out there.
Song: Buzzcocks' "Ever Fallen in Love"
AS: Every time after a fight I would just put on my big headphones and I would crank up the volume and go Pete Shelley freakin' gets it. In a way she will always be a part of me, but I don't have to listen to Buzzcocks and cry every day and night any more. I can actually listen to it now and enjoy it because it's a great song.
AL: It's the Buzzcocks," Ever Fallen in love". We're here with Alex Skarsgard from the HBO series, True Blood, on KCRW's Guest DJ Project. What's the next song you have for us?
AS: When I was a kid we went on a lot of road trips and my mom had this song that she always wanted to play. She is a very considerate person, my mom, so she would always ask the kids and my Dad if it was okay if she played the song. Like I mentioned before, I was a punk rocker so I would just shrug my shoulders and be like ‘oh whatever, I don't care.' So I want to dedicate this song -- my mom's favorite song --to her and I want her to know that even though I would never admit it at the time, I actually loved it every time she put it on.
Song: Van Morrison's "Brown Eyed Girl"
AL: Do you ever feel homesick?
AS: Yeah.
AL: Is there a piece of music that you hear that just takes you there?
AS: It's kind of tough because I am the only one in my family here in LA. The rest of my family lives in Sweden so music is great for that. I just put on a song and it brings me right back home.
AL: That was Van Morrison's Brown Eyed Girl. This is the KCRW'S Guest DJ Project. I'm Anne Litt with Alex Skarsgard who has brought in a whole bunch of great songs and the next one is "The Passenger" by Iggy Pop. Tell us about that one.
AS: I've been in LA for five years now, on and off. Growing up in Stockholm, Sweden that transition, it's not easy because Stockholm is a very densely populated place, you walk or you ride your bike. Most of my friends are within just a few blocks away from each other and coming out here was kind of tricky. Suddenly you're in a city where it's considered normal to sit in traffic for 45 minutes for coffee with a friend or people drive Hummers to the gym so I've kind of spent five years complaining about LA and talking about how much greater Stockholm is, how good it is back there. I was just there for two weeks and when I landed I flew into LAX and I had this really weird feeling when we touched ground. I felt like I was coming home. I've never felt that before so this last song I actually want to dedicate to Los Angeles and I hate to admit it but I think I'm falling in love.
Song: "The Passenger," by Iggy Pop
AL: Nobody is going to let you get out of here today without telling us what music Eric listens to.
AS: He listens to a lot of Swedish death metal.
AL: Is it hard to talk with those things in your mouth?
AS: The fangs?
AL: Yeah
AS: Yeah, you know, it takes a while to get used to it.
AL: Are they like those things you used to get on Halloween?
AS: Well, they're not plastic they're like molded for your teeth but it's basically the same thing.
AL: Alex, thanks so much for joining us on KCRW.com, you've shared such a meaningful group of songs
AS: Thank you so much for having me, it was a true pleasure
AL: For a complete track listing and to find these songs online, go to KCRW.com/GuestDJProject

Seeing how far I’ve gotten in terms of creating artworks regarding Creations Renew and my OCs, I’d like to create this dedicated post regarding how we all started off before Creations Renew:
- First of, Bii (Kuubii) and Cecee (Chlairre), AKA the twins.

Bii started off as a genderbent persona since, well, I was a Yugo fan and his persona was also a girl. Soon after, that persona became a sort of mascot OC to the title of “Enigma020.” Like a little helper who helps me manage the blog and, well, cope with life hehe ;w;
As for Cecee, she started off as an OC meant to cover more of Zach’s backstory and character back in the cancelled UTAU project, “Noveltale.” A character that gives Zach an angsty backstory and origin story. Her name is inspired and reminiscent of her late mother’s, my best friend since 7th grade and old flame who passed back in post-pandemic 2021 due to lung cancer.
- Then, we have Sally. Otherwise known as the “abandoned knight.”
She started off as an OC, much like Cecee, just to give more background to the earlier renditions of Zach’s backstory back when he lived and traversed more of the underground and survived through the script of Noveltale. She’d only ever gotten one origin story, that being that she was Zachary’s older sister who he’d only known and spent time with since he was 3 as well as a strong and powerful knight who lead the Lavender legion, the perseverance knights towards the war between humans and monsters before succumbing to a needless and pointless death over finally realizing that they were fighting for the wrong side this whole time.
- Next up! Ryan Ruckus, AKA edgy version of Zach who hates me- ;w;

I am serious, he started off as just Chlairre’s, their late mother’s, thought for a villain for Noveltale. “What if Zachary was bad and edgy? A villain?” That is literally the long and short of his origin. Like an Underfell version of Zach from the earlier renditions of Noveltale ;w;
Though, originally, I intended his character to be some sort of of an imperial prince who wanted no part of any imperial and royal conflict but only wanted to live a normal life before bringing him to the cancelled UTAU to initially play as a rogue fallen human, a polar opposite of Zach’s knighthood. Funny enough, that exact initial origin he had before any UTAU origin he’d ever had was the one I used as reference to inspire Sally to be a knight.
Coincidentally, he was the first OC I’ve ever made who partially acknowledged an outside force controlling their lives and destiny, an anomaly watching and pulling the strings from behind the scenes for their stories to move forward and serve as entertainment for his own self-satisfaction. Which was later confirmed by his beliefs after meeting Hatsuu’s earliest and very first version of him, “Hatsu Paradox,” during his supposed redemption arc above the surface which I later scrapped cuz it wasn’t Undertale related anymore ;w;
- Lastly, MAAW AND SMOL STEL!
Why are their pictures so smol wth 😭 Long story short, back in 2022, I drew Maaw because of the funni and stoopid caused by academics and Stel because I was too lazy to give Stela a design that best represented her literary description. ;w;
- As for Zach and Stela, *ahem*
“Zachary, having long hair and a red jacket, with grey eyes shaded with a hint of red.”
“Whereas Stela, with fairly long and brown hair who wore a green sweater and a tied scarf to her neck, matching with her glowing green eyes.”
I first made them before the very idea of Noveltale, in their very own story and universe before I ever knew of Undertale. Back when I used to write essays and short stories, wady’all expect they look like at first other than literal words in a notebook with no visually artistic form? qwp
They’ve been through thick and thin though, both in that first story of theirs and during Zach’s time in the years I developed and planned Noveltale and during Stela’s time in the middle of nowhere of the White Void, the “scrapped concepts” void.
And as for me- ehhhhhhhh, y’all really thought I was gonna actually say my origin story and my past life before Enigma and Hatsuu, huh? Well, think again. I this ain’t ‘bout me but them hehe <w<
Have this first picture of what this blog’s profile used to look like instead ^-^

Has a Hospital AU been done for Steven Universe before? I had a more than a few ideas for it.
White, Yellow, and Blue are three different types of doctors.
Yellow is a surgeon: she’s all hands in when it comes to performing surgery on her patients. She doesn’t really care for empathizing with her patients unless it gets the job done faster. She is known to be very skilled in her profession, but is very cold to her staff members and helpers.
Blue is a little more practical: she’s the head of her own team, who she orders around with regular tasks. She pretends to show compassion to her patients. It’s usually to cover up how nasty she can be when one her nurses or other do something wrong in the work place. She can be very strict, and also extremely mellow when she has to deal with some of the more emotional people around her (like when she might find one of her nurses crying after her yelling).
White is a little less… orthodox: she’s old-fashioned, and by old-fashioned she used to perform experimental lobotomies many years ago. She’s very much less enthusiastic about how the practice of “modern medicine” changed over the years. After her old profession became obsolete, she was able to sustain a decent public image with a new name and scratching out her old patient records from history, all thanks to Yellow and Blue. White still has a distaste for her new profession as head of a new hospital, but she’s able to cover it up with a facade. Yellow and Blue are the ones who can keep White in check from her unwanted and sadistic tendencies.
Pink was an unruly child. She used to be locked in “padded rooms” for the “safety” of others and herself after some of her more awful “outbursts.” Really, it was just a cruel tactic of discipline that White chose for her and enforced Yellow and Blue to follow. Yellow was uncaring, yet Blue seemed to find pride in how much of Pink’s “self-control” seemed to improve after every punishment, so Blue would occasionally neglect to check up on her for longer than usual. Yellow would sometimes have to be the one to let her out after experiencing some pity for Pink, or either White would let her out after wanting her back home earlier.
Pink used to want have her own profession like the rest of her “family.” After years of mistreatment, she slowly became adjusted to society by repressing her memories of being in the hospital, and going to school. She finally had a break point after becoming an adult and had to flee.
Pearl was one of Pink’s college tutors. Pearl also didn’t know what was the matter with Pink until she observed one her “scheduled” appointments to the hospital.
Pearl helps Rose escape. There’s a breakout from the hospital, the one where White used to work at. It’s abandoned now.
Pink’s hospital records were also scratched away along with the rest of the other patient’s names by White, Yellow, and Blue.
Pink changed her name to Rose, then formed an alliance with Pearl, Amethyst, Garnet, and Bismuth. She had many other friends who weren’t able to return back home. Rose worked hard to find homes for many of the patients, that’s where Rose started on a project.
If I get too deep into it, I’ll forget why I even shared some of these ideas in the first place. Here’s the ending.
In Change Your Mind, White basically relapses and almost performs an open-heart-brain surgery on Steven, until Yellow and Blue finally barge into the operating theater and put a stop to her.
The Gems don’t even know about what White put Steven through. They were all trapped in different parts of the hospital like: the fenced-in garden, the rooftop, and the boiling room*. Steven hasn’t opened up to them about it, but he and Connie can’t handle watching any hospital dramas anymore.
*One of the Gems has to get through a bunch of the in-patients to get past security; one of them is deathly afraid of heights and can’t get down from the fire-escape; one of them was ordered to maintain the boiling room by a wall of staff while being observed the whole time.
Steven has heart problems in the future and struggles with stress daily. He loses complete consciousness in the confrontation with his family
Steven recovers from his hospital visit and focuses on trying to continue living everyday life with his condition.

Himbos & Flowers
Synopsis: You are a florist at a small not well known shop that you inherited from your family, the only people who come there to buy and support your small business is your close friends. This time they brought over a new friend that has seemed to be interested in you...
Small warning for cursing!
Genre; Fluff, College au(?), Non idol au, florist reader.
G/n reader x Mingyu. 983 words 5,278 characters
I didn't proof read this!
After your Grandparents passing who previously owned the store, now it was your time to run this store!
-------------------------------------------------------

" This place looks like an absolute mess. " you said with a hopeless expression on your face as you looked at Minghao who was equally disgusted.
" Thanks for offering to help me Hao! The others seemed like they didn't want to... "
" I know why now. I didn't know it was that bad of a state, I thought they were over exaggerating everything again." You grabbed the broom and looked at minghao
" You're carrying the furniture"
" Fuck you, I just got my nails done. "
-------------------------------------------------------
You and Minghao were breathing heavily while looking around the room feeling a bit proud of your work, this was just the start of your little business. Soon this whole new renovation project of yours turned from days to weeks to months.
You rarely had the money to bring im furniture but your friends knew a guy and he funded your project. I swear you were so relieved you could have died if you had to spend another penny.
It wasn't easy but, finally it was opening day! You weren't expecting much people since you rarely advertised to others, only your close friends and family knew about this.
You decided to hire the boys since they were such good helpers in the renovating process(stress levels were higher than mouth everest).
Jun, Seungkwan, Seungcheol , Dk were working behind the cashier.
Woozi, Hoshi, Jeonghan, Joshua, Vernon were incharge of taking care of the plants.
Minghao, Dino & Wonwoo were social media team.
-------------------------------------------------------
" I feel so nervous, I bet no one will show up anyways! Its always like this every year. " you took a peak outside of the windows curtains, you only saw about 1-2 people anyways
"Cheer up y/n! I'm sure you can atleast get well a few more people. Our social media team is very good! " Dk reassured you, patting your back.
"Plus isn't it like 2 hours early? I'm sure time will pass by and more people will come " seungkwan commented, yeah he was right tho. Maybe you should stop worrying and focus on getting things ready for the non existent customers .
Opening time now. " shit, what if they all went away. My stomach hurts... " you placed your arms on your stomach covering it. "Well don't puke all over me.. " minghao rolled his eyes and looked at you with his iconic sassy face
" Its probably pre opening jitters, it will dissappear eventually! " the gentleman Joshua tried to calm you down as you seungkwan signaled that you opened the door. You hesitantly opened the door and flipped the sign to "open". " Welcome to Fallin' Flower shop! "
....
Suddenly people were SWARMING the store which shocked you, Jesus there was arround maybe 30 people waiting for this place to open.
" All the plants here are so well grown and displayed! " a customer commented, another said " No wonder why mingyu got excited over this place! " Mingyu?.. whos that.
" I know right! Mingyu has good taste in shops, I don't know how I never knew about this place before!! "
"Seems that Mingyu has seen my posts. Huh that idiots always posting, its expected that hes seen it. " wonwoo commented
Seriously who is mingyu... " Who? " you said dumbfounded at everyones comments
" You seriously don't know who that is??! " " No? " seungkwan was so close to shaking your dumbass " He's one of the most famous social media influencers in Korea right no! HOW COULD YOU POSSIBLY NOT KNOW HIM. "
" And he's one of my closest friends since high school " Wonwoo added
" His name rings a bell, But why should I care? It's not like I'll ever meet him. "
Seungkwan looked at you like you just offended the president or something
" How stupid do you have to be to not connect the dots?... " seungkwan took one of the boxes that were sent by the mysterious donner and pointed at the writing "K.MG... try to guess what that stands for. "
" Oh. " oh is correct, but how the fuck did THE Kim Mingyu decide that this was the place he is going to donate to.
Suddenly you heard screams from outside, well not screams of terror but more of excitement.
" Here comes the dumbass ... " Minghao sighed as you looked over to see a very attractive man, he was tall and had a good figure.
He was surrounded by people, they almost look like they were crushing him.
Seungkwan quickly ran over to the door and closed the door and yelled " Thank you everyone for coming over were now closed for today goodbye! " and slammed the door
" I knew that people were that crazy over influencers but not thay crazy.... " you watched as the crowed became less and less after a few minutes.
After awhile the crowed completely disappeared, the tall man came inside the shop looking tired, he was basically gasping for air.
" Sorry it took me awhile to get in, *huff* "
The guy looked at you and he instantly felt like he choked on his own saliva, did he just fall for you on the spot?? Yes, he did.
You went up to him holding a glass of water "Here, you must be thirsty. "
God, mingyu couldn't even look you in the eyes, " You look better in person... " he mumbled out
"Hm, What was that? " " Oh, nothing.. thanks for the water. "
" Oh my god the himbos inlove 😟" jeonghan said, the rest of the guys all agreed as they were all just watching you two from the counter.
" So, want to hang out? " Hehe sure, meet me after we close the store at night. "

Quiet Time 9/3
What am I feeling today?
So grateful!! A year ago today I made Jesus Lord of my life and was baptized for the forgiveness of my sins! I can’t believe I’ve gotten to spend a whole year with God already and I’m just in awe of how much He has absolutely transformed my life!
Bible Plan: Rethinking Love and Romance
Let’s take a look at the first loving relationship in Scripture.
In Genesis 1, God speaks creation into existence. We are then transported to a garden filled with trees, rivers, and animals (Gen. 2). Over and over, the authors show God declaring his creation “good” (Hebrew: tov), that is, until he sees the human (Hebrew: adam) alone. Now the authors introduce a problem—an intentional literary design move—as they show God saying it is “not good” for the human to be alone (Gen. 2:18). But why?
God solves the problem by first dividing Adam in half (Gen. 2:21). We often talk about this as though God took a rib from Adam and created Eve with it, but the Hebrew word tsela (often translated as “rib”) is never used as an anatomical term in any other passage in Scripture. Outside of Genesis 2, the word is mainly used to describe the architecture of the tabernacle or temple (e.g., Exod. 25-38; 1 Kgs. 6-7; Ezek. 41). The biblical authors use tsela to refer to the two halves of the ark of the covenant, the two halves of the temple, and the two halves of the new Jerusalem. So God’s creation of Eve is a process of dividing Adam in half and then building Eve from one side of him. We get a portrait of two humans, each one half of a united whole, deeply dependent on the other. Adam's goodness and life depends on Eve, and hers depends on his.
Then God calls this woman an ‘ezer kenegdo. The Hebrew word ‘ezer might be translated as “help,” but it does not mean what we might assume. An ‘ezer is not a lesser “assistant” or “helper” as much as it is someone who plays the mutual role of an “indispensable other,” a strong and wise guide, without whom the intended good cannot happen. The only other character in the Bible given this title (‘ezer) is God himself. Not your average helper, right?
For the second Hebrew word, kenegdo, we might use a metaphor of mirroring to get to the core idea. A helpful paraphrase of Genesis 2:18 might be: “It is not good for the human to be solitary. I will make one who can deliver him from his inability to fulfill the divine commission alone, one who mirrors him.”
The biblical authors are presenting this bonded, united relationship between two people as God’s good design for humanity. The “one flesh” of Genesis 2:24 transcends the union of the sexual act (though that is one way the one flesh unity may be experienced). So how is this idea different from the “you complete me” sentiment?
Adam and Eve "complete" one another—not by satisfying each other’s personal desires but by becoming unbreakable partners who seek the other's well-being. Today’s popular understanding of romance rarely gets past the "satisfy my desires" sense of love. But the authors of Genesis describe this “unbreakable partners” sense of love as a foundation for human flourishing and tov—the goodness and right-functioning of creation itself.
In the final verse of Genesis 2, we discover that the man and woman were naked and unashamed—an image of pure trust, openness, vulnerability, and safety. When one is genuinely unified with another, there is no need for self-protection or projection of a false self. In their most vulnerable state, the man and woman were at rest. They had nothing to hide, no secrets or lies between them, no power grabs, hierarchies, or abuse. Instead, they had a portrait of love at peace.
In today’s video, explore God's plan for Adam and Eve (and all humanity) to serve as royal priests over all creation.
This is such an incredible explanation of our purposes as man and woman and how we are meant to equally help each other grow. Though men may be head of the household, as women we are not inferior to them or simply meant to fulfill their desires. The true purpose of their love and connection is to guide one another in the relationship with God.♥️

Genesis 1:26-28 NIV
“Then God said, “Let us make mankind in our image, in our likeness, so that they may rule over the fish in the sea and the birds in the sky, over the livestock and all the wild animals, and over all the creatures that move along the ground.” So God created mankind in his own image, in the image of God he created them; male and female he created them. God blessed them and said to them, “Be fruitful and increase in number; fill the earth and subdue it. Rule over the fish in the sea and the birds in the sky and over every living creature that moves on the ground.””
I always think about this in terms of “let us make mankind in our image” but then right after it says God created mankind in His own image. It’s just a little interesting nugget but regardless of what it means, we must see and acknowledge that God knew exactly what He was doing when He made us, He was very purposeful with it and He blessed us.
Genesis 2 NIV
Genesis 2:7 NIV
“Then the Lord God formed a man from the dust of the ground and breathed into his nostrils the breath of life, and the man became a living being.”
Just a fun little reminder that God literally breathed life into us!!!
Genesis 2:8-9 NIV
“Now the Lord God had planted a garden in the east, in Eden; and there he put the man he had formed. The Lord God made all kinds of trees grow out of the ground—trees that were pleasing to the eye and good for food. In the middle of the garden were the tree of life and the tree of the knowledge of good and evil.”
It’s interesting to me that God first formed Adam and then placed him in the garden of Eden. Also that there were two trees by name in the middle of the garden!
Genesis 2:15-17 NIV
“The Lord God took the man and put him in the Garden of Eden to work it and take care of it. And the Lord God commanded the man, “You are free to eat from any tree in the garden; but you must not eat from the tree of the knowledge of good and evil, for when you eat from it you will certainly die.””
So important! But He never said anything about the tree of life and I have always been intrigued by that. What would have happened if they ate from that instead?
Genesis 2:18 NIV
“The Lord God said, “It is not good for the man to be alone. I will make a helper suitable for him.””
From the previous context we know that helper means so much more than an assistant but a true partner and God is so intentional with the fact that we’re not meant to be alone!
Genesis 2:19 NIV
“Now the Lord God had formed out of the ground all the wild animals and all the birds in the sky. He brought them to the man to see what he would name them; and whatever the man called each living creature, that was its name.”
This is actually so sweet to me. That God brought all the animals to Adam and just allowed him to name them whatever he wanted and that was that. It truly reminds me of something a father would do for their child and I find it so endearing🥹
Genesis 2:22-24 NIV
“Then the Lord God made a woman from the rib he had taken out of the man, and he brought her to the man. The man said, “This is now bone of my bones and flesh of my flesh; she shall be called ‘woman,’ for she was taken out of man.” That is why a man leaves his father and mother and is united to his wife, and they become one flesh.”
There is a purity to love and romance in the way that God intended! Our world and Satan has corrupted it so much since the beginning but we must be reminded that we are meant to be with each other and love each other (in terms of romance, please remember to keep things within the confines of a marriage!)

Usually, at four am on a Monday morning, there’s not anyone in the student labs. So as per usual? Sunny is found doing something that’s not per se breaking the rules, but she definitely shouldn’t be doing it either.
When Tony flicks the lights on, Sunny is sitting it the middle of the floor, paint brush in hand. Apparently, she’s been busy painting the helper boys with all the boredom fueled energy of an insomniac, hyperactive, fifteen year old girl.
She doesn’t even look up when Tony enters, just keeps painting with a steady hand as she begins to ramble on.
“Hey boss man! Do you think I’d be a viable side kick option—? Cuz like— so I’m in private school here in New York. Whoop de doo! But like my parents rules for that was that I couldn’t embarrass them, couldn’t ask for anything, and I had to pay for it myself— which I’ve all been doing!”
sunny pauses her ramble, pointing at him with her paint brush, before going back to painting the robot in front of her,
“But then like. In PE some dude was throwing basketballs at little kids heads which is so not cool— so obvies I like. Tripped him. Gently— but I’m the only one getting detention for a week— so the only option for me to save face is to do something amazing—“
Sunny tsks as the robot tries to back away and she repositioned to be be paining a different part of its chassis.
“So duh. Super hero work is the best way to save face— look at you and like. Half of all the other publicly known superhero identities. I can be like— I dunno- ace the intern. Or something. Just for a week or so. Easy as pie. Whatcha think?”
- @sunny-the-intern
Tony stood in the doorway for a moment, one hand still hovering over the light switch, the other holding a half-empty coffee cup that very much did not prepare him for this sight. He blinked once. Twice. Then sighed.
“Of course,” he muttered, stepping into the lab. “Why wouldn’t my Monday morning start with a minor committing unauthorized robot body art and pitching a superhero internship at the same time?” He took a long sip. “The only thing missing is a raccoon with a soldering iron.”
He crouched beside the closest helper bot, inspecting the now pastel-splotched chassis with a dubious glance. “You realize this one’s a precision welder, right? He’s not supposed to look like a Jackson Pollock reject.”
Tony turned his eyes on her finally, dark brows raised. “Let me get this straight, Picasso—your master plan to rebound from detention is... unpaid vigilante labor? You do realize most people try less risky behavior to earn back parental approval.”
He stood, gesturing vaguely around the lab. “Also, this? This is not the way to ask someone for a sidekick position. There’s usually a form. Interview. Blood test. You’re skipping, like, twelve steps and a legal background check.”
Tony paused at the whiteboard, looked at what was unmistakably a sketch of a cape. With glitter. He exhaled a dry laugh. “Ace the intern, huh? Catchy. Needs workshopping. But hey, points for flair.”
He turned back to her, coffee in hand again, deadpan but not unkind. “You repaint these bots by noon, I’ll consider not reporting your extracurriculars to the ethics committee. You get 'em calibrated after? Maybe—maybe—I’ll let you sit in on a project with Dum-E. He’s basically the intern mascot anyway.”
"Tripping jerks in PE? Classic. Keep that fire. But next time, maybe do it without landing yourself a disciplinary report. We’re aiming for hero, not chaotic menace.”

Hazbin Hotel RadioHusk AU Fanfiction
(The story of the relationship through Husk's point of view)
Part 2
Husk: After at least a month in settling into the Hotel, a lot of things have happened especially with that new extermination date coming earlier than ever before, but I was too busy trying to do my job as a bartender for the hotel while maintaining that gruff appearance that I tend to have when people other are around, but I let it all go when no one’s around and it’s just me and Alastor who I only allow to treat me like a pet. Although, the first guest, Angel Dust, keeps trying to flirt and clearly doesn’t understand personal boundaries. After a while we got along well together and I found drinking buddies through him and Sir Pentious. But I only had my eyes on my dear secret boyfriend, Alastor. It was then that when the king of hell himself, came to visit the hotel and from the look on his face, I knew that Alastor didn’t like Lucifer, but I maintained a mutual respect for the king of hell. But Alastor and Lucifer weren’t having it anymore and were duking it out with one another until she showed up… Mimzy. She was always known for buttering up with Alastor and especially when she’s always getting herself into trouble and Alastor always has to take care of it. I tried to warn him about it and whatever demon could mess with him but he didn’t seem to take what I was trying to tell him seriously. I was so desperate that I replied to him something that ended up getting him so upset that he threatened to hurt me if I ever mentioned it again. When he left to who knows where in the hotel, I was still in complete shock because Alastor had never done that to me ever before when we had our secret relationship before we got involved with the hotel. I knew that I deserved it because it was a touchy subject that Alastor never wanted to talk about, so I decided to let it go. Well at least he managed to anger Mimzy and got her to go away. The day of the battle between us and Adam & his exorcists arrived and it surprisingly ended when He arrived and was disappointed in Adam, and Lute for doing something as horrible as this for so many years and he brought them and the other exorcists back to have a long lecture along with that seraphim, Sera, but not before announcing that Extermination day was over forever and would be replaced with Charlie’s redemption project saying that while it seems impossible it’s better than the gruesome extermination day. We managed to rebuild the hotel new and improved than the previous one and after a couple of days, sinners decided to give it a try since they didn’t have anything to lose which seemed nice to Charlie, but in my eyes it meant I had to listen to a lot of people for long hours and that meant that I wouldn’t get to spend as much time with Alastor before people started coming to stay at the hotel to at least give redemption a try. Since he was a helper for Charlie to run her hotel which meant that he had to talk with the new incoming guests, I thought that maybe seeing him would be enough, but it just wasn't the same as the private time we had before all this was happening. I couldn't even go to him since I had to stay at the bar for long hours listening to random people talking about their problems all the way to almost midnight. He could have just just come when there was hardly anyone around and we would get to at least talk for a while and maybe even pet me on my head that would get me to purr, but no. And you know why? He’s too busy interacting with everyone from the other employers to the guests … all except for me. But that wasn’t the only thing because I found out that Alastor was having a month off from working at the hotel and I thought that would give me the opportunity to spend some quality time with him.
...But... I was wrong
End of part 2 of the Radiohusk relationship through Husk’s point of view, and final part will be released soon, so watch out when it comes out. I wanted to make a note that in this AU, neither Sir Pentious nor Adam die because the Big G Himself finds out about this and decides to have a long lecture to Adam, Lute, and Sera about how this could affect everything in Heaven in the future

Tell me more
this is so much pressure lol
okay but my thought is like he moves to providence at 19 for his first season and he’s there for 3 years before he makes his debut in boston and then he’s up and down so maybe he meets a girl in boston who dreams of going to culinary school and becoming a chef but she’s not sure she’s cut out for it so he pushes her to pursue her dreams
idk how they meet, maybe in providence and then she moves to boston both to be with him and to get a chance to go to a better school there. she starts her program, tests out recipes on lauks, he gets traded in the offseason and he doesn’t ask her to go with him bc she’s in the middle of the program so they break up, it’s mutual-ish but they’re both upset about it, they keep in contact sparingly, she’s following the wild now, goes to see him when in boston, when he gets traded back she’s his first call
-linkedin anon
HOW THEY MEET IN PROVIDENCE
Some ideas depending on vibe:
1. Small café meet-cute:
She works part-time at a cozy café Lauko visits often with teammates. One day she’s testing out a new dessert recipe and offers him a bite. He raves about it, and it becomes a thing—he asks for her experiments, gives feedback, and they start talking more.
2. Cooking class twist:
Lauko and a couple teammates sign up for a cooking class as a team-building thing or a PR stunt. She’s a student helper in the class, and he is terrible at it but determined to impress. They bond over burnt risotto and inside jokes.
3. Roommates/friends-to-lovers:
She’s roommates with a Providence Bruins staff member or friend of a teammate. Lauko meets her at a party, they slowly get closer, and he’s the first one to ever take her dream of culinary school seriously.
POST-BREAKUP TENSION WHEN HE COMES BACK
1. First sighting:
Maybe she’s at the game with friends when he’s back with Boston, and she didn’t expect to feel everything all over again. They make brief eye contact during warmups and it just wrecks them both.
2. She’s dating someone else now… kind of:
Nothing serious, just someone from her culinary program. Lauko hears about it through a teammate and spirals a little. She tells the guy, “I think I’m still in love with someone else.”
3. The reunion call:
The second Lauko’s traded back, he texts: “Are you still in Boston?”
He calls. Not to ask her out. Just to hear her voice.
4. Cooking together again:
She invites him over to test a recipe for her final project. They haven’t been alone in months. The food gets cold. They don’t.

read chapter 1: here, chapter 2: here, chapter 3: here
warnings: dead bodies
June 1986
***
"The death of me was so quiet
No friends and family allowed
Only my murderer, you, and the priest
Who told you to go to Hell"
- doomsday by Lizzy McAlpine
***
Today was the one year anniversary of Raja Mannar's reign in Khansaar. As a gift to their king, a Mannar Dhora delivered the Khansaar court the good news: Dhaara Shouryanga Raisaar's wife and son are dead.
They were both found in Odisha. They were captured to bring back to Khansaar. But they both had tried to escape again, so, they were beaten so much their faces were brutally disfigured and eventually they died. Raja Mannar had planned to hang the bodies outside Khansaar court, but he was advised against it, as it may instigate a few rebels. After seeing the two bloody corpses, he was finally at peace. This chapter has finally come to an end. No rightful claims to the throne remained. The throne of Khansaar belonged to him and him alone.
When Varadha received this news, his soul left his body. He felt as though he was observing himself from the outside. Then he heard someone screaming very loudly. Then he realised it was him. He had actually fallen to the floor, screaming his guts out while Baba hugged him to try and calm him down. Baachi was peering at his brother through the door, not understanding what to do.
After a few hours, Varadha went to the hospital to see the bodies against Baba's wishes. The most important thing now was to make sure the death rites were done properly. It was the least Varadha could do. He can deal with his grief another day. Today he had to be responsible. When he was about to enter the mortuary, Baba took him aside.
"Varadha, whatever you see in there, must be between us. You cannot get shocked. You must accept the truth that Deva and his mother are gone, forever."
Varadha nodded his head. He entered the mortuary and saw two bodies covered in white sheets. He asked the helper to lift the sheets.
The helper looked at Baba concerned, "Sir, I don't think that's a good idea."
Varadha would not budge from his position.
"I am ordering you to lift the face covering. I will not ask again."
The helper relented and lifted the covers off both the bodies.
Varadha did not recognise the faces. There was nothing recognisable. They were so beaten. The eyes and lips were swollen while the scalp was ripped in a few places on both of them. Varadha's hands shook as he approached the bodies. He stood beside the boy's body and began to cry. He fell on his body and started weeping hysterically. Baba tried to pull him away from the body when Varadha noticed something. The bruise Deva got after his fight with Rudra's pahalwan….the electric wire shocked him. The bruise spanned from his arm to his neck and it was no longer there.
This was not Deva.
Varadha looked at Baba in disbelief.
Varadha was about to speak when Baba interrupted him, "Varadha, you are just in shock. We should get you home as soon as possible and plan for the death rites. We have to honour your friend and his mother. We must leave now."
As soon as Varadha and Baba reached home, Varadha hugged him.
"That is not Deva and Amma", he choked.
"No, they are not.", Baba admitted,
"They are just dead bodies of couple of poor strangers who will be buried in a strange land."
"But why?!", Varadha asked in disbelief.
"Because you are not the only person who cares about Deva and his mother. There are few powerful people in Khansaar who want them to be left alone"
"Who are they? Is it a Mannar Dhora?!"
"I also don't know alright. Just be grateful that this worked out in your favour. The most important thing for you to remember is that Deva and his mother are dead to Khansaar. So, your behaviour must not raise any suspicions.", Baba warned.
Though Varadha was overjoyed that Deva and Amma are not dead, he was sad that these strangers' bodies were mutilated and not given to their rightful family. The least he could do was provide them a proper funeral.
Thus, Raja Mannar believed that, on June 27th 1986, Deva Shouryaanga Raisaar and his mother's pyres were lit by his traitorous son, Varadharaja Mannar.

Dear everyone! Followers and anonymous users of Tumblr.
I'm really sorry for not replying for so long, it wasn't intentional. The thing is I haven't played the Sims since September. (I'm kind of out of inspiration + I'm working on weekends and going to uni on weekdays) but I will return soon. I'm pretty sure it happened to all of us before. Today I finally have some extra time and energy to make this little announcement.
The release date of Briarcliff Harbor is still unclear, as I said before I want to make it completely accurate meaning that all the elements (buildings and landscaping) are created by me, although I do have a little helper (my partner in crime @kevinvoncrastenburg ). This world really is my love project and I really appreciate all the love and interest of other simmers. It really feels awesome and I couldn't even imagine that BH would be that popular one day.
One thing is 100% sure!
I will release all the older houses of mine and those that I built for BH but canceled or got replaced over the years.
