#LaysFlavorMixVarietyPackMegaSize #RufflesCheddarSourCreamChips #LaysChips #RufflesFlavoredPotatoChips #FlavoredChipReview
I tried the Lay's Flavor Mix Variety Pack Mega Size Ruffles Cheddar & Sour Cream Chips and these were pretty good. These chips were crunchy and cheesy with a light cheddar & Sour cream kick. I really like the seasoning on this since the ridges help hold the flavor on the chips.
These were a little salty but not overly salty to me.
I would eat these agsin but with hummus or dip.

Okay but what about modern Amnabel's group food preferences?
cracks knuckles. Alright, let’s get into it.
Annabel Lee - complicated. Annabel likes to have the upper hand in every situation, even in casual afternoon lunch outings. She will adapt to almost anything put in front of her. For example, if she goes to someone’s house and they serve tea and scones, she will claim that they are her favorite. Are they? Who knows. She will play it as if whatever is given is something she enjoys immensely, creating the illusion that the world seems to cater to her- that she got lucky that it was her favorite meal. She does this ALL. THE. TIME. “Oh, they are serving pie. That is one of my favorites.” No it is not. She is just making it seem like it is to create the look that “Wow, how lucky for her. The world seems to love her- they’re serving her favorite food!” You get it? She says it’s her favorite for convenience sake. This is why Prospero brings her so many varied pastries when he can. He’s trying to figure out what she actually likes.
As for what she actually likes: She has a pretty varied palette. She does prefer food that is considered more “common” as it tends to have more flavor, and she absolutely loves American food far more than what she had at home. Is the type of person to eat popcorn one piece at a time, but then resorts to shoving 4-5 pieces in her mouth when she’s invested in whatever she’s doing.
Keeps up appearances by ordering what is expected of her. Teas, light foods with small portions.
- packs snacks throughout her school day like grapes or small cheese cubes. Dainty, barely filling little things.
- She loves spicy foods. Hot curries, salsas, she loooves the burn.
Ada - Also keeps up appearances, but obviously not the same way Annabel does. She will pretend to only like more expensive things, but she honestly thinks such things are too bland. She’s a southern girl used to flavor and savory dishes.
- LOVES cheap frozen dinners. She would rather die than admit this of course. Like think those frozen mac and cheeses you put in the microwave.
- She can and will force herself to eat something she doesn’t like, especially if Annabel/Prospero is eating it.
- Hates squid. Calamari? Yuck.
- She likes to comment on things she eats like she’s doing a shitty food review on Youtube. The only person that listens is Will, but you can’t really tell that he’s even paying attention.
- Loves celery
Prospero - This man has a sweet tooth, but he knows how to keep it tamed. He has a very balanced diet and makes sure to make every lunch or breakfast filling enough to last him through morning classes.
- Salad man. He will put so much shit into a salad. He’ll make days worth of salad and sometimes he and Annabel will just eat the whole thing in between classes.
- His favorite dressing is balsamic vinaigrette.
- Very rarely eats fried foods. Corn dogs are cool and he’s more likely to eat one of those rather than something else fried
- For snacking he always gets the things that are called “thins” or “light”, and he is very strict when it comes to the “no eating three hours before sleeping” rule.
- This man hates cashews
- I HC prospero as a mama’s boy idk i get the vibe. He grew up having homemade pasta and refuses to eat it if the restaurant isn’t like locally Italian.
Montresor - Big on steak. Big on potatoes. Big on veggies when they’re roasted or oven baked or anything where they’re mixed up and peppered and cooked. Dude will eat a raw carrot for fun though
- crunches loudly on chips. he does it on purpose.
- has a surprisingly shitty spice tolerance. It’s not BAD, but his face will get red and he tries to play it off.
- Likes messy finger foods like ribs
- Licorice kind of guy. specifically red.
- Prefers green apples over red ones
- really likes blue cheese, especially for his wings
- cannot STAND marzipan anything
Will - Peaches peaches peaches peaches pea-
- Prefers simpler foods. Basic ham and cheese sandwiches, a bag of chips…normal and boring.
- gets overwhelmed when served anything more complicated than what you’d get at an Applebees. He doesn’t really think he nor his body are suited to eat such things. They’re TOO delicious and he isn’t worth it.
- He loves cheesecake brownies. He’s literally only had them twice in his life but he would go insane if he ever saw any for sale anywhere
- The drinks he gets at coffee shops are considered “girly” to Montresor, so he only buys them when he’s alone. Like fruity refreshers and stuff.
- He would like a lot more food if he actively attempted to try new things, he just has no desire to treat himself.
- eats wheat thins for fun
- Only eats 1 singular fruit for breakfast or just skips it all together.
- would probably start crying if he ate a soup. it’s warm and filling and it makes him feel like a waste of space. the warmth settling in his stomach reminds him that he’s real and he hates it.

Bad Batch Food Headcanons:
Was having the meal of champions (soju, galbi, and buldak) and it got me thinking,,
So have this collection of random food headcanons:
Crosshair insists he can handle spicy food but he cannot. He's eating hot cheetos and he's fucking crying
Wrecker had to build up a tolerance for spice - he fucking LOVES spicy food ("It's like an explosion in my mouth!!") but couldn't handle it at first. Now he can handle buldak with half of the spice packet!
Hunter and Tech can handle their spice decently but Echo isn't too fond of spicy foods.
Like Wrecker, Omega built up a tolerance to spice, but also like Crosshair she's sensitive to it and will insist that she can handle her spice
Echo is a picky eater. That's like canon. He doesn't care that he's a grown man, he's ordering mac-n-cheese at the fancy restaurant. Deal with it.
Tech is another picky eater but he thrives off instant stuff like ramen or snacks like chips. Man can plow through a whole Costco-sized bag of tortilla chips in one sitting without realizing it.
Hunter has a stomach of steel, he'll eat anything and everything. It's only a matter of REMEMBERING to fucking eat. He'll stand up, nearly faint, then go, "What the hell?" and it's because he hasn't eaten since fucking yesterday.
No Crosshair, an ice coffee is NOT a suitable breakfast. How many times do we have to tell you? And aren't you fucking lactose intolerant???
Oh they love their dinosaur chicken nuggets though - especially Omega and Wrecker. They'll dunk them in ketchup and create a whole murder crime scene.
Omega LOVES soup. Any and all kinds! I think she'd really enjoy udon or 냉면 the most though. The slurp-ier the better!
I feel like Tech is a curry enjoyer. Indian curry, Thai curry, Japanese curry - he loves it all.
Rip Crosshair you would've loved flavored soju 😔
Rip Wrecker you would've loved Korean BBQ and all you can eat sushi
I don't think Hunter likes cold foods. His teeth are sensitive and they hurt when he eats cold stuff like ice cream (no I'm not projecting)
Crosshair likes mint ice cream. Echo likes rocky road. Wrecker enjoys strawberry or sherbert. Omega likes cookie dough. Tech likes caramel or coffee.
Ice cream is like the only kind of "dessert" that Crosshair likes (despite being lactose intolerant) - he doesn't really have a sweet tooth
WAIT CROSSHAIR WHEN I TELL YOU ABOUT BINGSU!!!
SPAM. SPAM. SPAM. Shut up they WOULD eat spam and idc what people say I fucking LOVE spam. Spam is the love of my life, they could never make me hate spam. I used to write parody love songs about spam as a kid. They would enjoy breakfasts of spam, rice, and eggs.
They'd devour the shit out of Mexican food. Like CMON-
Feel like Omega would like fiedo. And Echo too
Wrecker thinks breakfast burritos are godsend - he absolutely loves papas and chorizo
Y'know what would be funny? Echo being a picky eater yet LOVEING Mole. It's not for everyone (I personally like it) but he thinks it's good
Omega has a boba addiction. She has ro have it every week. Her favorites are Taro, Strawberry Matcha, and Honey Milk Tea
Only Hunter and Wrecker like boba; Echo, Crosshair, and Tech find the texture funny but they enjoy the drinks
I feel like Echo is a big bread eater. My sister reminds me a LOT of Echo and she absolutely ADORES bread (she's also a picky eater) - catch him at 85° or Paris Baguette
Hunter would love Soul Food and he also can work a grill
Rip Echo you would’ve loved soba and you would've loved 맥주
Tech actually secretly (not so secretly) has a sweet tooth - he really likes muffins and pies specifically
Omega and Wrecker record "Food Review" videos together
I have,, so many more ideas and whatnot but I'm leaving it here-
Ugh I just,,, I have so many foods I'd love to introduce them too-

so, first, accountability statement: I plan on trying to finish the “zedaph steals a baby” fic by the end of the month and god is that one-line summary no longer accurate but we’re sticking to it, said here publicly so now I have to do it. obviously I also have recursive exchange and the writing I have for hotguy comics zine, but I am not SUPER worried about either of those time/inspiration-wise at the moment and also for Reasons I know it won’t be long until I have more free writing time after that, SO.
various items that are on my potential writing docket, I am curious which of these appeal most:
I dust off the supervillain support group au. two ways this could go: I chip away at the second arc of my original outline and acknowledge this will be like a 300k fic I’m not ready to feel “done” with or “ready to post” with for ages, or I re-work it into something a little more doable and less ambitious keeping the same premise (ren runs a support group for supervillains, doc pov as he starts to heal and redeem himself). this MAY honestly be a target for “if I don’t hate the first 50k on re-reading it and I can actually make my brain write the second arc, do a slower release schedule and then start releasing chapters before I’m done writing”? but this ALSO runs the risk of “I stopped writing it, which is often a sign I was having trouble writing it”.
pearl monster au, which has been cooking in my head for a long while. the basic premise is “one day, pearl, with no memory of how or why this happened, wakes up in a facility as a monster and must try to figure out how she got there, escape, and find her way home, even knowing she may be irrevocably changed”. now with bonus season 10 fish flavor to add to this creature design I’ve been iterating on in my head for forever! this one is ALSO an experiment for me in “can I write a fic where I can’t write dialogue for basically the entire first act”, which would be interesting to see from me, you know?
the related “bigb folklore au”, where after secret life bigb is woken up by Cat and Dog by the tracks of the King Snake, which bigb can recognize as the railroad track, and decides to journey down the railroad to see if he can figure out what the fuck is going on. I need to do video review of life series bigb for this one. this is my excuse to get Weird and Metaphorical and also assign everyone to various animals for no reason, along with using some very specific aesthetic I have wanted to use for some worldbuilding but hadn’t gotten around to yet in any of my stuff. man walks through the desert with animal, confronts train that might be the watchers, might be death, and might just be a train. also, realizes that “confront” is the operative word there and has to deal with that. you know how it is.
““office au””, in air quotes because it’s not REALLY what anyone going to an office au is looking for so much as an excuse to write weird horror. iskall, normal-ish software developer man in a boring office job who does game jams in his free time, goes to work one day to work in his boring downtown office on a payment system for a client. and then things, uh, Take A Turn. this would be a LITTLE me going “what if I wrote an au with a guy who works in tech but like, the boring side of tech I’m in. like, banks and consulting and manufacturing and shit. where you sit in meetings all day and tweak java 8 code even though that language is ten years out of date. but THEN. something exciting happens in the worst way possible.” I’m doing to iskall what I did to mumbo stuffed bird is what I’m saying. it’d be fun.
DO ANY OF THESE PARTICULARLY INTEREST ANYONE. your input will be valued. like 50% chance i get hit with a strong bolt of inspiration then IGNORE that input but it’ll be valued all the same,

@the-valiant-valkyrie 's DST teas review (VERY LATE)
~~~~~~~~~~~
WX-78 Blend
Tumblr media
By itself, it smells very herbal, the lemon aroma is very distinguishable and pleasant. I added about a teaspoon or so, and brewed it for the recommended time on the page. At first it tastes somewhat like chamomile, then, I added sugar and lemon juice and it started taking on a more homey vibe. The lemon certainly brought out the distinct black tea flavor + strengthened the natural lemon flavoring.
Update: made it a second time, this time added two and a half teaspoons of sugar, 2 slices of lemon and a touch of lemon zest (for about 3/4 of the 400ml mug filled.) It was AMAZING, very pleasant flavor, lightly sour and sweet, brings back memories, legit became one of my favorite teas, I'd definitely buy a bigger bag at some point in the future if it'd still be available.
All in all I would highly recommend it, If you're fond of relaxing teas such as this one.
First impression: 6/10
Current impression: 8.5/10
Tumblr media
(forgive my shitty phone lighting)
Walani Blend
Tumblr media
Upon first smelling it, it's very fruity and exotic, that smells only intensifies upon brewing.
Quite sour by itself, adding a tad of sugar (about 2 and a half teaspoons per half a 400ml mug for me, again) then it's just a right mix of sweet and sour, the flavor somewhat reminds me of raspberry. You can pick out the orange and mango if you feel for it, but they're not that intense. The coconut and apple are the most pronounced in the aftertaste.
(Overall, very enjoyable, especially on mornings and late nights 6.5/10)
Tumblr media
Lunar Blend
Tumblr media
The coconut gives it a very nutty feel, with the added scent of flowers.
When brewed, dull and slightly bitter without any add-ons, although the coconut and chocolate chips are especially prominent. When added some cream and sweetener, it becomes more light, it doesn't have an especially compelling flavor, but it's not bad either.
(Then again I'm not an expert on tea, 98% of the time I just drink black tea)
For me personally, it's a 5/10
Tumblr media
Willow blend
Tumblr media
When first smelling it, the dark chocolate and strawberry are the most distinguishable, cinnamon is only there if you really smell for it. After brewing, both of the formerly mentioned scents mixed further.
By itself it's very bitter obviously, but after adding some cream and sugar, it tastes more like coffee with a note of strawberry and cinnamon.
There's also a herbal after taste.
Overall pleasant , though people who like their tea with milk/cream would enjoy it the most.
First impression: 5.5/10
Second impression 6/10
Wormwood Blend
Tumblr media
Straight out of the box it has a wild berry feel to it with a flowery scent.
After brewing it, momentarily the mint leaves make themselves known, but after tasting, they're only present in the after taste.
The chamomile becomes very distinct, with the flowers on the side. I can taste some hibiscus, orange and the apples, but they're not that present.
I added a bit of lemon and sugar and the taste immediately changed into a more comforting sweet tea.
Overall 7.5/10 for me
Tumblr media
Woodie and Lucy Blend
Tumblr media
When fiest opened, it smells very nutty and sweet. The apple and the safflower are barely noticable, you'd have to seriously smell it, in order to feel them.
Upon brewing, the fruity scent catches up to the nutty one, and it becomes sort of a mix of the two.
At first I added some almond milk and maple syrup, but it just didn't stick with me. It was alright, but there was just something missing.
The second time I added some UHT cream and condensed milk and JACKPOT, this was it (at least for me) the cream softened up the flavor and the condensed milk made it sweeter, more cozy, it adapted perfectly for my taste.
First impression: 5/10
Second impression 7.5/10
~~~~~~~~~
All in all, very nice teas! I recommend y'all try them!

Adventures in Maud's Recipes
Tomato Jelly Salad
The Recipe
It's been a while since I've picked up LMM's cookbook, after the successes of the New Moon Pie, the cornbread, and the potato soup! I experienced hit after hit - New Moon pie was light and delectable, the cornbread a taste of Eden, and the potato soup apparently academy award worthy. Why at this point, I thought to myself, I should trust Maud's judgement implicitly when it comes to the dinner table. But then I pondered: I'd only tried the recipes that are difficult to get wrong. What if I tried one of the more out there recipes? Cornbread is one thing; raisin pie another. I considered my options. There was dandelion wine, but that required wild dandelions and I didn't feel like curling up with a book and a glass of pesticide; salmon jello molds (yes, really) but that was too much for me (there are some paths even I dare not tread for the sake of lm montgomery); or, I found, there was the aforementioned tomato jelly salad. This salad involves tomato juice, vinegar, onion, sugar (hold on, now we get crazy) which you combine with gelatine to make a jello (keep holding on) and then while the molds are forming, you add a vegetable such as peas or cabbage. For the crunch, I suppose. After all, everyone wants their jello to be crunchy. For obvious reasons, I hesitated. While I do not hate jello, I am suspicious of jello combined with tomatos and peas. In fact, it took me months to build up the emotional resilience to try. Yet, try, I have, and you shall hear of it.
The Results
After a rather disastrous mold experience (I made the mistake of pouring into a floppy dish instead of a metal one, thus meaning any movement of the dish resulted in tomato jello liquid everywhere), we landed on this:
Tumblr media
Do you see the peas? Waiting, in the jello like little minnows? What's not to like about this presentation? I love all of my meals to look like bloodsoaked peas. I go for "Veggie Tales mass murder" when it comes to meal presentation, personally.
After bravely moving past the Veggie Tales crime scene, I popped a piece out onto a plate. Here's what it looked like out of the mold (featuring wizard hat roommate's banana chips in the background, my food photography skills are truly impeccable):
Tumblr media
That looks vaguely pretty, if it weren't for the peas. One last photo - much like a crime scene, I feel obligated to provide photos from multiple angles. The mold is definitely molding. I suppose you could argue this is vaguely Christmas themed due to the red and green.
Tumblr media
The Review
You're supposed to eat this wrapped in a lettuce leaf, but I detest lettuce leaves in that form and refused to do so. I would take this pure, raw, unfiltered by any form. Wizard Hat Roommate insisted on watching as I took the first bite. Tremulously, I took up the fork. Would it taste all right? Would the texture be too much? Would Lucy Maud deliver? I paused, then boldly took a bite.
I want you to imagine the flavor of ketchup. Then I want you to imagine this flavor transmitted via the medium of jello. Then on top of that, as the cherry on this veggie tales sundae, I want you to imagine this ketchup has peas in it. Needless to say: I did not enjoy it. It tasted wrong...disordered...as if the earth itself shuddered as I bit into it. Is this how Frankenstein felt, feeling his creation lurking in every corner of the world? Haunted by the work of his own two hands?
Okay, in all honesty: it wasn't that bad. It wasn't good, but it wasn't bad. The taste was okay - I didn't like it but it wasn't disgusting. The texture was weird - I didn't like it but it wasn't disgusting. The two combined admittedly pushed it, but it only toed the line of being gag worthy.
It didn't help that the color of the jello meant my subconscious kept expecting a sweet cherry flavor, only for my mouth to meet vinegary tomato and peas. Ketchup jello with peas on top is not for me personally, though I won't speak for anyone else. Wizard Hat Roommate insisted on trying one, and actually finished hers. She described it as something she'd never make, but she could eat. We shall see if Clifford Roommate has the same opinion.
So, what would I rate this? Well, if a zero is a mouse in a pudding sauce, and a ten is Susan's monkey paws, I rate it Aunt Martha's ditto served cold and topped with peas.

hello everyone welcome to cheese review with jovoy today we are reviewing mimolette cheese. now this is a cheese i have seen in the fancy open refrigerated deli cheese section of the grocery store for years and yearned for for some reason but never bought..and today for whatever reason i decided was the day i was going to try it. its orangeness finally became too enticing for me and i had to buy it
Tumblr media Tumblr media
let me preface this by saying im no cheese expert ok. but this is very orange. and it has a very weird hard greyish rind that is apparently from cheese mites. so if you are weirded out by the artisanal cheesemaking process this is certainly probably not a cheese for you. and its very firm and a bit waxy i would say you need some sort of cheese knife to cut it. it has a very salty and slightly sharp flavor but not like cheddar sharp mostly just salt…slightly nutty but not quite in a parmesan way. and the internet told me to pair it with super dark chocolate but all i had were these extra dark guittard chocolate chips so i ate it with those. and i was like that seems weird i dont think that will taste good at all…but it did! it was very good in a way that i cant really describe and i felt a little like remy from ratatouille. and i dont drink wine usually so i did not pair it with a wine but im sure that would have been just fine. overall i would give mimolette cheese like a solid 6.5 out of 10 and like probably an 8 with some dark chocolate. it would be a conversation starter on a cheese board and you can tell them your friend jovoy told you to try it maybe

Top 5 desserts (or entrees)?
Ooh good question! I'm going to go with desserts (in no particular order):
Ice cream is VERY good, in all its varieties. A staple dessert. Hot fudge sundaes are ESPECIALLY good, though.
Related: I have a cool freezer-cup thing which you can fill with the beverage of your choice and then freeze it into slush, which means I can make chocolate milk and then have a milkshake even if there's no ice cream in the house. It also comes with the Enrichment Activity of scraping the sides so that it freezes evenly.
Chocolate cake, specifically our family recipe. It's moist and dense without being fudgy and it always gets rave reviews.
Doughnuts! Get a special shout-out because I can't make them myself, so they're even more of a treat. Chocolate-frosted donuts and cake donuts (regular or chocolate flavor) in particular.
America's Test Kitchen Perfect Chocolate Chip Cookies: not my favorite thing to make, because they're quite a bit of trouble, but the best chocolate chip cookies available. They're rich. They have so much butter in them they get grease on your fingers.

I tried the Lay's Flavor Mix Variety Pack Mega Size Lay's Classic Chips and these were pretty good.
These chips were light and crunchy.
These had a light potato and salt taste while also had a light grease taste to it.
These were salty but not overly salty to me.

Review on Poltchageist please? it's design is interesting and cute.
(This is the last review request in my inbox—if you guys have requests, send 'em in.)
Tumblr media
(Also, important note before we start: Ironically, some leaks regarding the DLC just dropped today. I don't review content until it's officially released, so I will not be discussing any of the leaked information in this review.)
While I don't think I like it more than the Sinistea line, I do like Poltchageist here. I don't actually drink tea much at all and I don't like matcha flavoring much either, so correct me if any of the following information is wrong, but it seems like it's based off of vintage matcha tea caddies. Here's one I dug up on Google that looks very similar, right down to the black patterning and the "face":
Tumblr media
At first, I wasn't sure why this was a convergent evo, as it's still tea, just a different flavor. It feels like a convergent to tea would be something like coffee, which looks like tea but isn't. A different flavor of tea seems more like a regional. This also doesn't look that much like the original line; you couldn't accidentally mistake one for the other.
Tumblr media
However, I do sort of get what they were getting at—Poltchageist is similar to Polteageist, meaning the line is effectively inversed, which is actually a pretty cool idea. It has the painted-on face of Sinistea, and it's possessing the container itself like Sinsitea does instead of the tea, but the actual body shape being a tea-holding container is all Polteageist. It's basically how Wugtrio looks a lot more different from Dugtrio than Wiglett does to Diglett, just backwards. In that respect, I think it gets away with being a convergent.
That said, I do wish it had different typing. I think it was neat that our previous two convergents had types that were opposites, or at least completely different; maybe this one could've been grass/fairy, or maybe even grass/water.
Anyway, all that conceptual stuff aside, it looks pretty good visually. I like the striking black-and-white palette with the green matcha as an accent color, and I really love those floating matcha powder hands. The matcha scoop(? is that the right word) is also a fun touch. Bonus points for how drippy the face looks, almost like it's crying, and the kintsugi-style repair job on the cracks.
Tumblr media
My only nitpicks are that the three dots above the eye feel kind of random, and the hexagonal cut-outs for the hands feel too inorganic—more natural cracks and chips would've been better. Also, I feel like the face could've fit the container more. If you look at Sinistea or even the above caddy, there's a lot of intricate markings that fit the space nicely, while Poltchageist's face feels more slapped on.
Regardless, overall, it's a pretty decent concept and design. I don't like it quite as much as Sinistea and I don't know how badly that line needed something new, but this is fun and definitely unique enough to justify itself.

Want to know how it feels to be a writer in Hollywood?
Picture yourself working at an ice cream shop.
Customer: “Ohhh all of these look amazing, but that one in particular -- that looks so good, I'd love to try this 'rocky road' flavor.”
Worker: “Fantastic! Coming right up! Oh, you’re aware there’s nuts in it, correct? Just making sure, in case of allergies.”
“Yeah. I know what I want. Please give me rocky road.”
“Sure, no problem. :) Here ya go! Even gave ya a little extra, on the house!”
“Ew why is there nuts in this? It’s too crunchy for my mouth and I shouldn't be eating nuts anyway. I don’t want this.”
“Oh, I’m- I'm sorry… that’s… um, okay, well is there something else you’d like to try?”
“What do you suggest?”
“The mint chocolate chip is really popular.”
“Seen it too many times.”
"But have you tried it?"
"No, but I've seen it enough to know that's not what I want."
“Okie dokie. Though I will say we do something different with ours, we also add in-”
“Wait, hold on -- *lowers phone* -- I was just talking to a friend of mine, he's never even had ice cream, but he had this brilliant idea: what if we take the rocky road ice cream and mix the mint chocolate chip INTO it?”
“Oh, I— I'm sorry, just to understand, you just said you didn’t like nuts from rocky road and had no interest in the mint chocolate chip, but now you'd like both -- just, combined?"
"Yes, and I'm very excited about it!"
"K, I'll get to work on that for ya. Just a note, I'm not sure these two flavor profiles will work super great together, but hey -- it can't hurt to try."
“Exactly. It’s called development of flavors. Sometimes you have to figure out what you don’t like, duh.”
“Right. And we did. But now you want two things you didn’t want? I'm just trying to understand-”
“Yes, obviously, because together, it’s never been done.”
“Okie dokie. Not a problem!"
“And, can you do this fast? We need to leave soon.”
“Gotcha. Here you go!”
“Oh, this is gross. This doesn't work well together. Why the heck would you combine this? The flavors don't work well together.”
“Oh, I — I'm so sorry, but you wanted them combined."
"I mean it was a collaborative effort."
"Um, not really, you didn't even listen when I- you know what? It's all good. We're adaptable here and always happy to serve! Can I offer you something else! Sherbet, perhaps?"
“Is that like, fruity?"
"Yeah, we have orange or mango, I love the mango personally."
"Hmm. Maybe I'll try the orange. Actually, you know what? I don't know anymore, I don't know. I think I’ll come back in six months and tell you want I want.”
“Wait, s- sorry- six months?”
“I’m very busy. I have to go to four other ice cream shops just this week.”
“Oh... ok...”
“In the meantime can I get a free sample of the mango sherbet?”
“Oh, so you do you want sherbet! Sure, be happy to get that for ya!”
"Please put it in the large ice cream cone and with double scoops."
"Oh... that's... sorry that's no longer a sample. You'd have to pay for that much..."
"Haha. Sure. I mean, you're lucky I'm even standing here. Most people would kill for my presence in their shop."
"...you know what? That's fine. Here you go, have a good day, and I hope you leave us a positive review!"
“I don't do reviews. And oh, this tastes weird... this is way different from ice cream. It's very fruit forward.”
“Yes, because it’s sherbet.”
"Yeah, I know the difference."
"But you just said... nevermind. Can I help you with anything else?"
“No. And, thanks, I guess. Really would have preferred ice cream. Maybe something chocolate like rocky road or mint chocolate chip, you know?”
"?!?!!?"
End scene.

Just yappin'
Tried sheetpan pancakes this morning for bfast & they turned out soooooo good!! I had the buttermilk protein pancake mix from trader joes on-hand anyway, but after reading the reviews ("pure sludge", "tastes like concrete") i added a generous tbsp of butter, an egg, vanilla extract, almond milk, and an extra pinch of salt and baking soda instead of just mixing with water (????) as instructed. Put some chocolate chips on one side and cinnamon apples on the other and chucked it into the oven for 15 mins and now im OBSESSED and can't wait to have it for bfast tomorrow lmao.
SPEAKING OF cinnamon apples i DID impulse buy the waterloo spiced apple flavor - first sip was VILE but 3 cans in.......im on the turn tbh
Did a whole bunch of laundry as part of a bigger wardrobe cleanout but im losing steam & motivation urk......bed won't be usable until im done which i THOUGHT would be great motivation but i do appear to be.....horizontal....on the couch......under a blanket.......hmm.....
Nako the cat is the sweetest thing and thankfully too dim to cause any trouble on her own, but she has taken over the chaise completely
Still cant chew but ive got some butternut squash and MORE apple so a soup is inevitable at this point
Did a growwithjo workout (LOL) to escape The Thoughts And Realizations which DID work!!! For the moment

This Saturday Leonard is trying the chicken club sandwich Let's chips at the request of @askingrayla-leone and this is a first for Leonard's reviews: I haven't tried this before!
Let's see...little trouble getting this sucker open, but that's usual with Let's...oh, it's good! Tastes like chicken, haha! Nice and crunchy as usual...yeah that was good!
Chicken club sandwich flavor Let's chips are good, and they're a buy!
