I feel like Echo is the kind of guy where if he sees that one of his siblings have fallen asleep on the sofa or are taking a nap, he will drape a blanket over them. Idk it just seems like something he would do (plus I feel like I’ve seen it enough in different fics for it to be canon).

Even more clone trooper headcanons, because yes.

(courtesy of my sibling) Hunter has a list of all the different dirts of different planets he's been to and he's rated each and every single one. Ex: Tatooine: no dirt, only sand. 0/10. Kashyyyk: very nice, many different kinds of dirt. Overall 8/10. He puts more detail into his descriptions but I'm too lazy to write all that.

Tup gets away with fucking everything. Those Tooka eyes are deadly.

Dogma can also do the Tooka eyes but chooses not too.

Hardcase gives the best massages. Sore neck? He'll fix it in no time. Sore back? He's got ya. Rex, Kix, and the mechanics love him.

Once, after a very long and already overstimulating day, Hardcase jokingly messed with one of Dogma's things and accidentally just, broke Dogma. He just started yelling at Hardcase, Which turned into him yelling at Fives, Which turned into him just kinda yelling at no one in particular about things that upset him. Yes there are videos of it, and yes it haunts him every single day of his existence.

Crosshair = Cat. He gravitates towards warm spaces, knocks things off of tables to make room for his own stuff, his eyes do that reflective thing in the dark. And more.

Jesse occasionally just, faints. Kix can't figure out what's wrong and he hates It.

Tup needs glasses but he goes with contacts because A, glasses break easily. And B, they can't fit underneath his bucket. Also he can't find a pair he likes.

Rex is all responsible and stuff when it comes to his legion. But the second he's with the command batch he suddenly has no survival instincts and becomes so chaotic he rivals Anakin. This disturbs everyone In the 501st. (Also, this only happens when at least three other members of the command batch are present.)

Dogma has a little emotional support plushie that's weighted. Shaak-ti gave it to him when he was a cadet and he can't sleep without it. (It's a BLÅHAJ. I'm not even gonna try and lie. It's a weighted space BLÅHAJ.)

Bly has an engagement ring picked out for Aayla but he keeps chickening out whenever he goes to propose. Aayla knows about the ring and all his attempts. Aayla acts oblivious.

I'm just gonna keep making more of these I don't care if you don't like em.

Tech would have been so excited to take Phee’s last name

except the problem was, the rest of the Bad Batch took it, too.

It started with Omega. She was out shopping with Tech for one thing or other when he introduced himself as “Tech Genoa” and she just got so excited and bounced up and down and exclaimed, “And I’m Omega Genoa!” And it wasn’t really the time to correct her, except then Wrecker picked up on it and he got so excited because “that’s right, we get a last name now!!” And they just run around the house screaming “Omega Genoa” and “Wrecker Genoa” while a flabbergasted Tech tries to find a tactful way to explain that actually only he gets the last name.

Hunter and Echo of course know how the last name thing works, but they also thinks it’s hilarious, so they start using it, too. First just as a joke around the house, but then it just kinda starts to roll off the tongue, and admittedly, it’s kinda nice having two halves of a name instead of just one. Crosshair thinks the whole thing is absurd, until someone new in town asks him which family he belongs to and he just scoffs and says, “Genoa, obviously,” and he started using it after that.

And that is why Phee came home from an expedition two weeks later to see a hand carved sign on the front of the Batch’s door that reads “The Genoas” and an extremely exasperated but endeared Tech.

ʜᴜɴᴛᴇʀ:

Freezes for a moment when he felt you gently place your head against his shoulder, he knew you were exhausted after the mission but he just didn’t expect you to suddenly fall asleep like that it actually makes him feel warm inside though, you trusted him to let your guard down around him which to him meant that you felt safe around him too.

He sees Crosshair smirk at him but he quickly brushes it off he’ll make sure not to move around a lot so you can get plenty of rest.

He might actually close his eyes for a bit too the warmth your body radiated was comforting to him in a way and it helped calm down his senses after you wake up you quickly apologize to him but he tells he doesn’t mind it at all.

ᴄʀᴏssʜᴀɪʀ:

At first he wanted to shrug you off his shoulder but then he remembered you telling him you were having troubles sleeping at night at times you didn’t get into the details about why that was but he completely understood what you meant, at times he could stay awake for hours and would have to report for a mission the next day lacking sleep.

Wrecker sends him a smug look but Crosshair rolls his eyes and mouths “don’t be loud” to Wrecker he would quickly send glares to anyone who got too loud while you slept.

Crosshair felt weird though you being close to him felt somewhat comforting to him he didn’t know why it made him feel that way.

If you wake up you quickly apologize to Crosshair but he shrugs mumbling a “didn’t matter to me you looked tired anyways.” Doesn’t mind lending you his shoulder again if you need a quick nap.

ᴡʀᴇᴄᴋᴇʀ:

It doesn’t take you a long time before you fall asleep against Wrecker’s shoulder he’s too warm which makes you sleepy at first Wrecker is confused and debates on waking you up or not but when Tech tells him you’re probably just exhausted from the mission he decides not to wake you up. He completely gets it though during a mission his adrenaline can be pumping but afterwords he’s totally exhausted.

Even though at times Wrecker can be loud he’s completely silent so he doesn’t disturb your sleep he can’t help but find it cute when you mumble a few words in your sleep, some of the words he can make out and some others he can’t.

You apologize to Wrecker about sleeping on him but he shrugs “I didn’t mind! Hey did you know you talk in your sleep?” You can only hope you didn’t say anything too weird.

ᴇᴄʜᴏ:

He’s actually used to it especially when it’s you he remembers whenever you would travel with them on missions you would fall asleep on his shoulder or Five’s shoulder (depending who was the closest to you) so it wasn’t someone new to him.

Might join in with you on taking a power nap but if he stays awake he’s quick to shush the others if they start getting too loud

“I did it again didn’t I?” You ask Echo as you finally wake up from your nap he chuckles “you really need to get your sleep schedule adjusted.” You groaned “tell me about it.. sorry Echo.” He smiles at you “I don’t mind.” Echo is willing to lead you his shoulder again if you need a quick nap which in return makes you happy.

ᴛᴇᴄʜ:

Tech doesn’t shrug you off but will definitely lightly scold you about your sleeping pattern and needing a better sleeping routine you let out a small grumble before falling asleep again, Tech doesn’t mind it honestly though he’s still able to work on his datapad and plus the others can fly the marauder.

He does appreciate though that you can easily let your guard down around him he’s like oh they find me safe and warm? That’s new but he’s smiling about it.

When you wake up you apologize to Tech about falling asleep on him he’s quick to reassure you that he doesn’t mind but PLEASE get your sleeping routine in check. Seriously the amount of times he’s found you awake until the sun rises is concerning…

Some Bad Batch Headcanons

Tech snores like a dad

Wrecker actually is a quiet sleeper

Hunter does the bare minimum to care for his hair, like he uses hand soap for it, and it still looks amazing

Omega being born with a blonde mutation and not having any developmental issues led the Kaminoans to allowing more blond clone troopers to live to deployment

Wrecker is the one that initiates picking up and carrying Omega mostly because it is easier for him to keep an eye on her this way

Wrecker has lost Omega in crowds more than once because she is barely hip height to him in S1, couple that with little to no vision in one eye and a trashed ear, he struggles a little bit (hence the picking up and carrying)

Despite not liking regs, the Batch had a lot of respect for the 501st and drew many of their battle strategies from 501st tactics

Echo didn’t share much about his time with the 501st until Omega came around, this lead to multiple story times which had the whole bad batch circled around him listening and fangirling

Crosshair cannot see things close up, as his eyes were modified for long distance, he needs classes or contacts for reading things but refuses to wear glasses

That being said he will steal Tech’s goggles because they do help quite a bit

Given the choice, Omega will choose Wrecker’s bunk to sleep in over Hunter’s

This is due to A) Wrecker actually likes cuddling and barely moves in his sleep, B) she noticed that Hunter doesn’t sleep as well with someone else in his bunk

That doesn’t stop Hunter from pouting that she chooses Wrecker

Echo is really good at sparring after his ARC training, being down 3 limbs only motivated him to get back to his peak form as well as he could. He can and will put anybody in the Bad Batch (including wrecker) on their shebs

Tech is ordained and can officiate weddings (no one knows when he did this or why)

Here’s how I would rank the Bad Batch and their level of spice tolerance

1. Wrecker - Spice king. Will purposefully make his food spicy to add flavor or order a spicy dish. Real champ.

2. Omega - Close second. Likes dishes that are specifically made to be spicy, ie Gregor’s specialty (with a few of Fireball’s spicy modifications) and chili.

3. Crosshair - Likes spicy food and will eat it if he so pleases. Unfortunately….. as per usual… his stomach is not a fan and he gets a TERRIBLE tummy ache

4. Echo - He always gets nervous about trying foods described as spicy (this may or may not have stemmed from an accident involving “Silly me! I must’ve read the amount wrong.” Yes that was Fives.) He’ll cautiously try it and 60% of the time he’s said it wasn’t that bad

5. Tech - Prefers his food not to be spicy because he thinks the burning sensation on his tongue takes away from the main flavor of the dish. Isn’t afraid to express this preference either

6. Hunter - Due to his enhanced taste and smell, it always burns his tastebuds and nostrils pretty bad. He tries to take it like a champ but his eyes will water. Omega has asked him many times if he was crying (he may have been). I have a feeling he wants to like it but physically cannot have it

Average night on the Marauder

Hunter *tucking Omega in*: Goodnight, sleep tight. Don’t let the bed bugs bite. 

Tech: Technically, there would be no bed bugs. We just cleaned. Why do you think there are bed bugs?

Crosshair: Goodnight. Sleep tight, don’t let the monsters haunt you.

Wrecker: Monsters?

Omega: What monsters?

Echo *sighs*: There are no bed bugs, there are no monsters. Just go to bed. 

Wrecker: But what monsters?

Hunter: No monsters. 

Omega: Just bed bugs. 

Tech: Again, there should be no bed bugs. Have you seen signs of them?

Echo: All of you go to sleep

*Quiet for a minute* 

Wrecker: But why does Batcher always sleep with Crosshair? No fair, I wanna turn

Omega: She sometimes sleeps by me

Wrecker: No fair

Crosshair: She just likes me best

Tech: Technically, it may be because of Crosshair’s unresolved trauma. Dogs tend to know when humans are not alright. Although that may not be a good enough reason because many of us have unresolved issues. 

Hunter: Yes, thank you for calling us out Tech, now go to sleep

 *Quiet for another minute*

Omega: I need some water

Wrecker: I have to use the refresher

Tech: It is too hot in here to sleep. What temperature is the ship set at? This is not the optimal sleeping environment

Hunter: Do not touch the thermostat!

Echo: WOULD YOU GO TO SLEEP ALREADY?

Crosshair: Okay, mom.

When you fall through ice during a mission.

Out of all the places that the Jedi council sent you to Hoth had probably to be the far worst next to Umbara and of course the separatists had to build one of their bases here, as you fought with a few different droids you didn’t realize their weight was making the ice crack beneath you.

It wasn’t until you found yourself submerged into the icy waters that you realized what just happened, your body shook as you quickly informed the others. “N-no rush or anything but… I’m stuck in the water.”

Hunter:

“You’re what?” “I-I fell through the ice and I can’t crawl out.” Hunter quickly rushed to go help you, once he carefully pulled you out of the water he kept you close to his chest as your body trembled and shook.

“I hate the cold.” You mumbled “Hunter get her back to the Marauder and warm her up quickly, we can handle the rest of the droids.” Tech said on the comms.

Hunter held you close to him as he carried you back the Marauder, “you need to get rid of those wet clothes It’s making it worse.”

You chuckled, “if I knew I was going swimming sarg I would’ve bought some spare of clothes.”

Hunter didn’t hesitate to give you one of his spare blacks.

Once he saw that you body trembled less and felt like it was safe enough to leave you alone without being worried about you getting hypothermia, he left you alone on the marauder and went back to the others.

Crosshair:

“Damn droids.. on my way to you now general.” Crosshair said as he rushed to your location, once he helped you out of the water he told the others he was going to help you back the marauder and get you warmed up.

“W-weird I thought you would’ve called me dumb.” You said as you clung onto crosshair, “I’ll insult you after I make sure you don’t get hypothermia.”

Once on the ship Crosshair sets you down on his bunk “you do realize you’re going to have to remove your clothes right?”

“Sorry cross I didn’t bring any spare clothes and I doubt the others would want to see me … nude.” Crosshair rolled his eyes before tossing you one of his blacks.

“Awe you do care.”

“I could always take them back-“

“No! I’m just joking.” You said as you quickly removed your wet clothes and slipped on the clothes that crosshair let you borrow.

Wrecker:

Before Hunter could even ask Wrecker to help he’s already taken off in your direction, “I’ve got you general.” When Wrecker picks you up out of the water he’s already cradling you closer to him, “Wrecker how the heck did you stay so warm especially here in Hoth?”

He shrugs “beats me, let’s get you back to the ship.”

Back at the marauder wrecker gives you one of his blacks to wear after you told him you didn’t have any spare clothes to wear, you giggled it was way too big on you.

“It’s too big isn’t it?”

“I don’t mind thank you Wrecker.” He made sure to wrap you in a lot of blankets before leaving you alone.

Tech:

“General are you alright?” Tech already knew it was important to get you out of the water as soon as possible before the hypothermia set in, with a quick pull Tech was able to help you out of the water.

“R-Remind me to never come to this planet again.” You said as you trembled against Tech.

“Depends if they don’t send us here again.”

“I’ll fight them on it.”

Tech helped you back to the ship, “you should change your clothes general, your wet clothes can still make you go into hypothermia.”

You let out a groan “I don’t have clothes to change into Tech.”

You saw Tech disappear before returning back, “here I had a spare shirt.”

“Why do you-“

“You’d be surprised what happens during some missions without you there,general.”

Echo:

“I’ll head over there.” Echo said to the rest as he quickly ran to where you fell in, “General Y/N are you alright?” He’s quick to lend you a hand on getting out of the water ��out of all my years as a padawan… and I fall in when I’m a general.” You mumbled embarrassed.

“Don’t worry about it, let’s get you out of the cold.” Echo brings you closer to him trying to keep you warm as possibly as he can as he takes you back to the marauder.

“Did you injure yourself when you feel through the ice?” Echo asked “nah just my ego I should’ve paid more attention when the ice was starting to break.”

“We all get distracted at times general, you should probably get out of those clothes.”

You sheepishly smiled “I didn’t bring extra clothes..”

“I think I got something for you to borrow I’ll be back.”

You waited patiently for Echo to come back and when he did he gave you his spare blacks, “you know I would ask why you have spare clothes but seeing now I get it.”

some of the bad batch cast and what donut i think they would be and like:

Hunter - Sugar donut (keeping it simple and sweet)

Wrecker - Chocolate sprinkle donut (he absolutely LOVES anything with sprinkles and chocolate)

Tech - Old fashioned donut (he likes the glazed ones the most)

Crosshair - Cronut (since its a donut and a croissant combined, I thought it would be fitting for him)

Echo - Glazed donut (one of his comfort foods)

Omega - Cake donuts (she would love these, especially the double chocolate ones with sprinkles)

Rex - Jelly donut (I think he would like these with some sprinkled sugar and strawberry filling)

Howzer - Maple bar donut (he seems like someone who would have a sweet tooth, and really likes maple)

Emerie - Strawberry frosted sprinkle donut (I feel like she would love anything strawberry)

Hemlock: Donut holes (you know, because he got blasted multiple times)

I fully believe that hunter is one of those “everyone sit down we’re doing family game night” parents. he 100% drags everyone from their room by any means necessary so they can try out a new board game.

they would all complain (except for omega ofc) but they would quickly get a little too involved in the games. wrecker has broken 50 tables. crosshair has stabbed wrecker with his toothpick countless times. the one time tech lost he stared at the board for 20 minutes. omega keeps cheating off echo. echo beat wrecker with the rule book once because he cheated. hunter accidentally set the popcorn on fire.

Hunter is the DadTM Dad. He was born to Dad. He is the best Dad. His Dad energy is over 9000.

Wrecker is the Fun Dad who no one understands how he became a dad in the first place because he's practically still a kid too. The type of dad who uses ice cream withdrawal as punishment but then caves on the condition that the ice cream won't have sprinkles.

Echo is the Mature Dad who's so emotionally intelligent and has been through so much that he's just naturally nurturing, hence why he could even be considered a maternal figure.

Tech is the Academic Dad who believes knowledge is power and strives to give a child the best preparation possible in any aspect (books, knowing how to operate crucial machinery/ships, etc)

Crosshair is the Cool Dad who his kids get their sarcasm from. Believes in do as I say, not as I do. Is much worse than Hunter. Any means are justified so long as it's for the benefit of the Kid, such as intimidating a child trying to extort you for information.
