Maybe if you still have an open slot for TTT, wild west Jason and reader sharing a night under the stars or having to seek shelter in a cave? If not it's ok, I love your stories.
"Here," Jason said, shaking his coat at you insistently before dropping it around your shoulders.
"The girls-"
"They'll be fine," he said, "I told Posy that if we weren't back by supper to go to the neighbors."
When you nod, snuggling into his coat, Jason feels his heart twist. He'd asked you to come with him to Cold Spring- And you'd been valuable. Helpful the whole time. But the only reason you'd agreed to come was is if he got you back by dark.
"We're better off hunkering down til day light," Jason said.
"I know I'm just- they're still so young."
"They're 11 and 13," Jason said, starting to look through the brush for firewood- kindling. "They're not-" He stopped when he glanced at you in the half-light and saw you chewing on your lip. Worrying the delicate skin between your teeth. He wanted to say "They're not babies" But. They were your babies.
"They were so upset when Colton run off," you murmur, leaving the safety of his coat and coming to help build the fire. "Jackie cried for days nonstop and Posy-" You sake your head and exhale slowly. "Posy was just so angry. And then this year when Pa died- I just. I had to take the forge and the house and-"
"So who looks after you," Jason asked, striking the flint. He'd seen it. You worked long days, sometimes late into the night by lamplight trying to keep abreast of it all. And at times, it made his chest ache. Wondering what would happen to you when your girls left home. Or what would happen if the men in this backwater hell hole couldn't see your stirring qualities under the soot and rough hands.
"I don't need looking after," you murmur, stretching your hands towards the warmth.
Jason said nothing but smiled a little and put his coat back around you before sitting next to you and pulling you against his side. Maybe you didn't need taken care of. And maybe he wasn't the marrying kind but- maybe with a few well-placed words he could get someone else to marry you. Give you some extra hands. He just had to find the right bachelor... and it wasn't like pickings were slim.

I LOVE THE PHOENIX PHIL HEADCANON OMG here's some misc hcs with them :D
• foolish was 100% the first person to try to touch them and kept going "ow. ow. ow." because he'd get burned, then immediately put his hands back on the wings
• phil tries to stop him and tinas like "no- let him finish" (he's trying to 'build an immunity)
• roier uses the wings as a way to heat up a knife and do stupid bs with it such as; slamming it against a tree and starting a forest fire, cutting various items in half and they either crumble or burn, or on fed workers (it just makes them mildly uncomfortable)
• on the same topic, when phils napping by fits place, ramon uses the wings to heat up scrap metal he has to try to wield them together.
• dapper also uses them sometimes as a portable heater for potions and uses tongs to hold them above the wings if they need to get to a certain boiling point (bbh is like 'I tried to get him to stop' when phil asks about it. but man's is a liar LMAO he encourages it)
• chayanne sometimes asks him to use em to start fired under his portable grills and pots if he can't find his flint and steel
• on the other side, tallulah def roasts marshmallows on them
• fit has definitely gone "yknow let me just borrow these for a sec-" and holds either dynamite, fireworks, or bombs ends on them to light em off
• etoiles has 100% had many. Many. sticks set on fire and burned durring stick fights and even if phil apologizes for accidentally doing that and you just hear "okay so we're playing that way" and he brings out the flame-enchanted code sword as a joke before they reset the fight 😭😭
• "the burn- he's just too good!"
• "that was literally an accident!!!!"
• "see? you doesn't even need to try!!"
• "oh my godddd."
• if phil does something to make richas mad, he'll purposfully walk into the wings flames and go to his dad's yelling about how phil set him on fire (he's done this too many times for them to give phil anything more then a slap on the wrist)
• he's lit off more then a couple lanterns and candles for cellbit when the two meet up in the order to share information (and more then a few books have scorch marks on them . . . it's very easy to tell which books have been donated by him.)
• more then once phil has been sentenced to laying underneath one of tubbos machines with his wings being used in place of a temporary blaze-burner (fit is very much laughing at him and being told to stfu by tubbo in fear of phil leaving)
• pac and mike are very quick to remove flowing water from their builds and keep them contained to pools and waterfalls that are easily visible
• more then once quackitys beanie or sleeve has caught fire and you can hear him swearing from miles away when it does
• sunbirds tend to surround him a little more then usual when the wings are out, so 100% foolish has asked the capybaras to warp phil to him to attract a sunbird real quick and phil agrees if he has perms to name it (it will be named something stupid.)
• it's not uncommon for the eggs to surround him more on group trips and events whenever they go by somewhere cold as he's basically a walking heater (que the jokes about them liking phil more- when really he's just making sure they don't get frostbite 😭)
• ,,,,,, more then once hes been put through pain when a spontaneous code fight appears and he's had to run for shelter as its common for rain to pour when the day quickly shifts to night and damage his wings (another incentive for etoiles to finish fighting as quickly as possible)
- 💿
MANY SILLIES, RAAAH
Oh my god I love all of these silly headcanons SO MUCH RAAAH, especially the ones involving Phil and the Eggs, Fit, Tubbo, Etoiles and Cellbit because I am so biased
Also on the topic of rain and code fights - I am so. silly about it because I imagine Phil only runs for shelter when he‘s 100% certain the others can handle it. Every other time, especially during the times he had to fight off the code by himself, he pushes through the constant pain on his feathers while engaging in combat
On another side note, all I can imagine whenever someone pulls out a flame enchanted weapon is Phils eyes just instantly going O^O when he sees it and he just. stares. with big eyes & puffed up wings as if he’s about to attack the weapon before snapping back to the current. He‘s offended and sees flame enchanted weapons as a threat to his very being / j

Blake belladonna x FEM reader
she has a nightmare about Adam and the reader wakes up /barges into the room and comforts her
thank u have a good one
He Haunts Me Still
Blake Belladonna x She/ Her Reader
A/N: Hi! I wrote this taking place sometime within Volume 7. Hope you like it! Word Count: 1,280
(Y/n) awoke from a dead sleep, not unusual given her semblance. She usually wore earplugs to bed, when it was safe to do so, but Ironwood’s training regimens had her so exhausted that she fell asleep before she could put them in.
She sat up in bed, hearing a rapid heartbeat through the supposedly soundproof wall, along with uneven, nearly frantic breaths. She leapt out of bed, exiting the room quietly so as not to wake Jaune, Nora, Ren or Oscar. She tapped her scroll on the door to the room next to theirs and crept inside.
“Oh, Blake.” She murmured sympathetically.
Blake laid tossing and turning in her bunk, tear stains tracked across her cheeks as she fought off the figure of her nightmares.
The rest of team RWBY would usually be there for her in a heartbeat, but Ruby and Yang had an assignment that they wouldn’t be returning from until tomorrow, and Weiss was with Winter.
(Y/n) crossed the room and knelt at Blake’s side. She gently caressed Blake’s arm, but it was as if the simple brush had burned her. Blake let out a cry and jerked away from the touch.
“Blake, it’s a nightmare, wake up.” (Y/n) told her, cautiously reaching for her again.
Blake grunted, unconsciously slapping her hands away, but (Y/n) persisted until her hands broke through her defenses and rested against Blake’s wet cheeks.
“Blake, Blake! Wake up, you’re alright, I’m here.”
Blake struggled against (Y/n) and the sheets trapping her body, she scratched at (Y/n)’s arms, which stung, but (Y/n) continued gently running her fingers over Blake’s face in an attempt to soothe her.
“Blake, please wake up. Just wake up!”
Blake’s eyes shot open, wild and aglow in the dark of the room. She was breathing heavily. Her heart pounded in her ears and sweat rolled off her like she had ran a marathon.
“Blake!”
Her eyes snapped to the person hovering above her. Had she no night vision, she might have lashed out to defend herself, but she was relieved to find that it was (Y/n) leaning over her and not…
“Blake? Are you with me? Loosen your grip a bit. Let’s try sitting up— oh! Okay.”
Blake sat up and wrapped her arms around (Y/n) tightly, shaking like a leaf. She sobbed quietly against her shoulder and (Y/n) shifted to hold her more easily.
She let Blake cry, comforting her with quiet assurances and soft touches. When she had quieted into shuddering breaths and the occasional hiccup, (Y/n) pulled back a bit.
“Can I get you anything? Water maybe?” She whispered.
“Water would be nice, as cold as you can get it.” Blake croaked.
“On it. Be right back.”
If you wanted cold water, Atlas was probably the best place for it. She filled a cup and even wet a washcloth figuring the cool fabric could help her calm down a bit more. Then she came back to sit at Blake’s side.
Blake thanked her and downed the water in one go, then she covered her face in the damp washcloth, lightly rubbing at the hot skin on her face and neck.
“Do you need more water?”
“No, thank you (Y/n).” Blake took a couple deep breaths and lowered the washcloth to her lap. Her eyes slowly dragged away from her own lap to (Y/n)’s beside her and she gasped when she saw the scratches on her arms.
“Did I do that?” She asked, taking hold of (Y/n)’s closest arm for a closer look. “(Y/n), I’m so sorry.”
“Ah, it’s alright. It’ll heal. If I hadn’t depleted my aura in that training session with Neon and Flint, you wouldn’t even be able to tell.”
“Still…” Blake murmured, trailing off.
“Do you want to talk about it, your nightmare?”
Blake was quiet for a long beat.
“You don’t have to of course. I just meant if you wanted to talk about it, I’m here for you.”
“Thank you,” Blake managed a half smile, “I don’t really want to talk about it, but I think I should at least acknowledge it.”
“Take your time.”
Blake scooted across the bed closer to (Y/n) who seemed to understand what she was looking for and gave her a comforting hug. (Y/n) rested her head atop Blake’s, her nose scrunched a bit when Blake’s soft ear flicked against her face.
“I understood why I had these nightmares while he was still alive, but now…”
(Y/n) rubbed Blake’s outermost arm. She knew right away Blake was talking about Adam.
“I stabbed him in the chest, Yang got him from the back. I watched him fall, I heard the sound his body made against the rocks before he sunk into the freezing water. I know he’s dead, but he haunts me still. What is wrong with me?”
“Nothing is wrong with you, Blake. He had a big impact on your life. He may be gone now, but he left a mark on you. In more ways than one,” (Y/n) applied a soft touch over the spot where Blake’s scar laid, “You need to give yourself time to heal.”
“What if I never do?”
“I can’t promise you will, but I can promise that you don’t have to go through it alone. We’re more than a team, we’re a family. We support each other on and off the battlefield.”
Blake sniffled and lightly headbutted (Y/n)’s jaw.
“Thanks.”
“Anytime.” (Y/n) pulled back a bit to give Blake a tender smile, “I’m usually pretty good about lending an ear.”
“You can leave the jokes to Yang, thank you very much.” Blake laughed quietly regardless. “I do have four ears though, so I kind of get it.”
“So, what do you want to do now?”
“I’m exhausted,” Blake sighed, “but I don’t know if I can go back to sleep after that.”
“Then what if I laid with you for a bit? We can talk about dumb stuff until you fall asleep.”
“I’d like that.”
They got all cuddled up and talked for awhile. Not about Adam, their missions or Salem, just normal things. When (Y/n) had finished a retelling of some of the weirdest things she had ever accidentally overheard, she noticed that Blake was rather quiet.
She turned her head to the side to find that Blake had fallen asleep, and on her arm no less.
(Y/n) tried to pull herself out from under Blake, but she only curled up closer making (Y/n)’s attempts to free herself futile. She tried waiting for Blake to change her position, but the wait was so long that she fell asleep herself.
She woke again the next morning to giggling and the sound of scrolls snapping. She groaned and peered through squinty eyes as another flash assaulted her retinas.
Before her she saw Ruby and Yang taking pictures in rapid succession while Weiss shook her head, unable to keep a smirk away from her lips. When they noticed she was awake, that was when the teasing began. It didn’t take long before the noise disturbed Blake from her slumber as well. She gave her teammates a grumpy glare.
“We’ve still got two hours before training begins. Quiet.” She grumbled.
Blake brought the blanket up over her and (Y/n)’s heads, earning another round of giggles from her teammates before they left them alone to bring breakfast up for everyone.
“Thanks for staying.” Blake yawned, “I think it helped.”
“I’m glad,” (Y/n) grinned, “your purring works really well as white noise.”
“I do not purr.” Blake muttered, though she looked a little embarrassed.
“It sounded like purring to me. I think it’s nice.”
Blake groaned and put a hand over (Y/n)’s mouth.
“Be quiet.”

What's this? A kinda spicy thing? It's been a while!
A missing scene/addition to For the Duration - takes place after chapter 12
Trip returned to Endeavour from Vulcan thoughtful and sore. At least it was the good kind of sore, the kind that when his shoulders protested when he picked up his bag or when his abs ached when he bent over, he could remind himself he felt this way because he'd gotten to have a truly staggering amount of sex with the woman he loved more than anything in the galaxy.
And not the usual kind, either. This had been a special occasion.
He checked in briefly with Chen, but the real talk could wait until he was back on the clock. So he went back to his quarters to take a shower and unpack. He stiffly pulled off his shirt and looked at himself in the mirror. Bruises still encircled his wrists.
T'Pol had him pinned on the bed, her hands gripping his wrists. "My mate," she whispered, tears welling in her fever bright eyes. "Mine." The whisper became a growl, deep in her chest, and the sound sparked on something inside him, like flint on steel.
"Yes," he groaned. "God, T'Pol, yes." He was hers, he surrendered, she could do with him as she pleased, it was all he wanted, and he gazed up at her with desperate eyes, knowing that she knew.
She released his wrists, dragging her hands down his arms, over his shoulders, cupping his face between them. Her thumb brushed over his lips; he took it in his teeth, and she growled again.
He wouldn't be rolling up his sleeves in company for a few more days.
There were more finger marks on his shoulders and his biceps. Those weren't too out of the ordinary, actually, and he chuckled. It wasn't like rough sex had ever even really been his thing, necessarily, and honestly, sex with T'Pol wasn't rough - not in the traditional human understanding, anyway. It was just that she was physically strong, and sometimes, she couldn't help but leave marks.
In a way, he thought, those bruises and welts were a sign of her trust, that she felt safe enough to be vulnerable with him, to let herself go. She didn't feel like she had to hold herself back - she could just enjoy. She could just have fun. And she felt that safety with him. That was a hell of a thing. It was an honor, really.
And quite frankly, it was incredibly, ludicrously, brain-meltingly hot to know that he could get her to come like that. What were a few bruises in comparison to getting to see (getting to FEEL) her orgasm? She never seemed to believe him when he told her that. Maybe she would now.
Just above his hip bone, there was a blue-black bruise. He prodded at it, ever so gently.
She grabbed him, her hands at his waist, pulling him on top of her. But she wasn't paying any heed to where the edge of the couch was, and they rolled into the floor, oblivious of their destination. What mattered was he was still on top when they landed; his only thought was to that he needed be inside her again. He had to be - the alternative was unthinkable, unbearable. The only thing that could hurt them right now was distance between their bodies, even if they were only millimeters apart.
"More," she panted hoarsely. He nodded hard.
"More."
Because pon farr had been… Well, calling it 'intense' would be selling it short. It had been delirious, wild, uninhibited, and…free. He didn't know if it was the bleedover of their bond or if he'd just really gotten into the spirit of things, but he definitely hadn't bothered with higher thought in the middle of it all. His brain had taken a time out, and his body had belonged to her. They had belonged to each other, actually, in the most fundamental way possible. And it had been better than he could have possibly imagined.
He finished undressing, and as he turned for the shower, the sight of circular marks on the backs of his thighs, dark purple and red, caught the periphery of his vision. Where had those…?
"Harder," she gasped, the word both a demand and a plea. Her legs were tight around him, her heels digging into him as her hips bucked desperately, her breath ragged and hot in his ear -
Oh. Right.
He stood under the water, letting the heat loosen his sore muscles. He washed his hair and scrubbed down, but he'd have to be careful about his back, because -
Sweat stung the scratches on his back, but he didn't care. That faint discomfort was light years away; he was right on the edge, he was so close, he was crying out her name -
T'Pol had dressed those scratches before he left, looking at once proud and abashed. "You really left your mark this time," he'd said lightly, and her lips had twitched with good-humored embarrassment. "You always leave your mark," he'd added gently.
"As do you," she'd replied, taking his hand, kissing the inside of his bruised wrist. "Even if it is not visible."
He got out of the shower, toweling off his sore body before putting his wedding ring back on. He looked at it for a moment, turning it on his finger with his thumb. "My mate," he murmured to himself. Yeah, they left their mark on each other. And he wouldn't have it any other way.

the ties that bind -
parents: alastair (deceased) & scarlett flint cousins: eurydice, andromeda, & nemesis lilim pet(s): wilson - black-tailed jackrabbit (familiar)
open for the taking -
(connection) exes - a couple of spots open. likely didn't end well and probably had something to do with liam's need to always put his best friend first or that he would never open up to you.
(connection) friends - liam isn't the friendliest of guys, but once you get past his sarcastic remarks, there is a semi-good guy there. or at the very least, once he considers you a friend, he is very loyal and protective.
(connection) carve me up - the two of you bonded over wood carving. he has a passion for it and sometimes you two work on projects together.
(connection) watchful eyes - you believe you know that liam killed his father or at least had something to do with it, but you can't prove it. maybe, you work with the law, maybe you were a follower of his fathers, a powerful witch. either way, the two of you don't really get along and liam wishes you would stay out of his business. (likely doesn't know the reason why liam killed his father and was under the man's charm)
(character(s)) long lost sibling - liam's father was known to have several dalliances outside of his marriage. maybe, you are from an outside town or state or even, country looking for the father you never knew and come across liam.
once upon a time -
liam's parents, alastair and scarlett, were both from prestigious bloodlines. there marriage was a setup between alastair and scarlett's father, though it didn't take long for scarlett to fall for alastair's charms.
his parents 'loving' relationship didn't last long before it soured. scarlett has a hard time becoming pregnant, having to rely on the coven for help. alastair wanted several children, but was told scarlett would only be able to give him one. shortly after liam's birth, alastair turned the charm off and let scarlett see the real him, a cruel alcoholic.
liam's father practiced dark magic and growing up, alastair wanted liam to only learn from him. he was also a dreamwalker, something liam had no interest in, but was taught how to do at a young age.
as liam grew older, his punishments when he would fail a task would get worse. a punch or being dragged around by his hair was a normal day in his household. scarlett had turned to alcohol and pills herself, using that to numb the pain of alastair and his infidelities, rendering her useless to help liam.
as he got older, liam began to fight back. he knew better than to ask for help as hardly any of the elders in the coven would have believed him. alastair had most of them enchanted with his lies and power.
this torment didn't stop once liam got his own place in town. liam had grown used to it, though. nearly a year ago, while liam was over taking care of his mother, an argument over liam's limited use of his dreamwalker skills led to him snapping and killing alastair. the main problem with this was that his father was a prominent member of the coven and the community. thus, a coverup was hatched and a few of the people in liam's inner circle helped him make it look like an intruder had killed the man.
liam worried that someone that he doesn't trust will find out the truth and life as he knows it will be over. but, he tries to focus his energy into his trade and teaching the students.
inside information -
liam has had his 'pet' (familiar) since he was a child. wilson was his first confidant and is regarded as one of the things liam cares about most.
if there is a wood or metal carving you want for your home, call him.
despite his cynical attitude, he has a good relationship with his students. especially those who show an interest in the craft.
once you become a friend of his, you are a friend for life.
he is allergic to limes.
liam doesn't so much care about the different occult or covens, believing that will drag him farther into his father's former circle.
while he does use magic and continues to use dark magic, liam would need a very good reason to ever dreamwalk.
on his days off, if he isn't with cordelia, it's likely you will find him at the hanged man's tavern.

I loved your hc and fic so much, Could I request a short fic of Tssm!Quentin and the reader going on a lil date :D
YES YESYEYSYSEYS
yes. 100% 1000%
Partially for myself because I wanna be Quentin's gossip partner but I can re-write it to be more romantic if you so desire my friend (also this was written on mobile too, so it will be properly formatted later i promise)
Tumblr media
Warnings: a lil body horror in Quentin's story?, Reader + Quentin go on a cute date and do.. idk date things (man I'm aroace idk how dates work)
Reader - Mostly gender neutral but Quentin uses masc compliments
"What happened to 'hanging low'?"
Quentin scoffed at your question, dismissing it with one of his signature smirks. For someone who had the smartest person in the city as his bestfriend, he didn't make the smartest decsions sometimes. His ego wouldn't let him and he was lucky you liked that about him. If you didn't, Quentin would be minus a partner. "Please, Mysterio never hides, especially not when it comes to bringing his handsome partner on a date, my love."
"Mhm," You hummed, taking a sip of the expensive champagne he'd bought, "and what will the wonderful Mysterio do if Spider-man happens to crash our date?"
"Ah-" Quentin got a look on his face, an odd flurry of panic and concern. He'd obviously not thought of it, and it had you biting back a smile from the otherside of the table. It'd been his idea, or rather, his insisting that ended you two in this high end restaurant. It really was nice, expensive as all hell, but nice nonetheless. You were lucky you talked him out of going to another one down the street, a semi-formal dress code was much more appealing than a black-tie one. "Well- he'd beat him, and take his date to a much better restaurant."
"You mean like how you beat him last night?" You were teasing, of course. Quentin could tell from a mile away when you had that glint in your eyes that you didn't mean harm. He flushed with a pout, before clearing his throat and sitting up straighter.
"That was Shocker's fault, he shot at me." You nodded at his words, deciding against pointing out how it was in fact Quentin who got in the way of the blast. "Oh- did I tell you about what happened before the fight?"
That was another thing you adored about you villainous actor, he gossiped. So much it wasn't funny, but oh, it was more than just a little entertaining. Being his partner meant you were told everything he knew... which meant you basically knew everything about the Sinister Eleven.
It'd probably be best if you didn't meet them at this point, anyway. You don't think you could look Sandman in the eyes after learning how his clothes work...
"So, Flint, O'hirn, Adrian, and Mason are all in the like.. living room area?" You raised an eyebrow and he waved his hand, something, you learned, he did often. "Not important, anyway. You know how Rhino can take off the chest and pelvis piece, right?"
"Uh, yeah, yeah, you told me." You had to think about it for a moment, but he most definitely had told you at some point.
"He'd taken off his chest piece because he needed to cool down, so he's laying on his and Ox's designated area, cooling down." Quentin was in it now, hands moving as he talked. You'd have to start making a list of all the things you liked about him, you realized. How animated he was would definitely be one of the top 5. "Sandman goes over, and says something along the lines of 'do you think i can fit in the rest of the armor?' So of course Alex wants to see if he can."
"Oh god."
"It gets worse." Quentin's smile was on the edge of being sadistic, eyes lit up as if this was the funniest thing in the world. "Sandman slips into the armor, and its all fine and dandy. Until he realizing, he, for some reason, is moving."
"No. Please don't tell me he-?"
"It took them two hours to sort him out of Rhino's tissue." You cringed, the little details given being enough to give you the full picture. Quentin giggled like an insane person, and you couldn't help but chuckle in response. "I mean- why would they even thing that was a good idea?"
"Aren't these the same two guys that Spidey used to beat on a daily basis back before Mysterio?" His nod had you shaking your head in disbelief. "Jesus you'd expect them to know better."
"Exactly!" Quentin's sudden raise in volume had people looking your direction, but you just glared in response. So your boyfriend was loud, so he could be a bit chaotic. So what? That didn't mean they could say anything, especially not while you were here.
A blissful sigh had you looking back at him, your eyes finding his in a stare that had you blushing. Another thing you liked about him, you noted, was how he looked at you. Like you were some kind of deity. It was equal parts embarrassing and adorable. "What?"
"I like it when you get angry for me." Quentin reached over, smirking like the little stuck-up idiot (affectionate) he was, and picking you hand up in his own. "It makes me happy I found someone to brag about."
"Wow," you flushed, chuckling, "that's a hell of a change of pace."
Quentin smiled, pressing a kiss to your knuckles as he downright purred his next words. "Its why you love me."
With a roll of your eyes, despite how your heart was fluttering and your face rivaled the color of a peach, you scoffed.
"That and a couple 100 other reasons," You pulled his own hand to you, flipping the script as you kissed the ring finger knuckle, "my love."

The Albino (Striker x male reader) PT3
Note: 18+ content included and later chapters will include mentions of rape
Striker was thoroughly enjoying this arrangement with (Y/N) especially after that one night helping him hide a body and patch him up because now, he was allowed to crash on the couch or sometimes in the bed if they were too fucked out to move. Normally if Striker needed to scratch that itch in the past, he’d need to find some pathetic soul who was so desperate for some dick they’d take him up on his offer immediately or if he couldn’t find anyone then he’d need to take care of it himself however since meeting (Y/N) that hadn’t been a problem. Striker loved being able to just come back to Imp city get a free place to stay and get some kicks in the process honestly it all seemed too good including the partner he was sharing these times with, calling (Y/N) handsome would have been a gross understatement of the man’s beauty then there were his skills both in the sheets and out of them.
 Striker chucked his duffle onto the couch upon entering your apartment as he normally did, turning to you with that smirk on his face. You shot a small one back, now normally the two of you would have been rabidly clawing at one another, mouths clashing for dominance in a heated exchange but as of late that hadn’t been the case. The sex was still great not to mention the point of these meet ups however it had become a comfortable thing thus there wasn’t that urgency that was in the beginning instead there was time (when Striker didn’t need to run off the next morning that is) to just enjoy time together even teasing one another gradually into a frenzy that made things more exhilarating.
 “Have Ya eaten?” Striker inquired having a glance at the clock on the wall
 “Not yet why?” You wondered arching a brow curiously
 “I was thinkin’ about poppin’ out to grab somethin’, Ya want anything’?”  Striker asked
 “Sure, I’m usually good with the atypical burger meal shit,” you told him
 “Alright, I’ll be back,” Striker chuckled before walking out the door again
 You were a little surprised at this change usually the two of you would just hang around the apartment or you’d go out for a bit then come back however this was something you’d not experienced, Striker going to grab you two dinner. You had some ideas for the later activities, so you went to put a couple things on the bedside table including a pair of handcuffs and a ball gag when you heard your door being broke down in a fierce manner.
 “What the fuck?” You cursed instantly running out of the bedroom to find three imps currently standing in your apartment. The two off to the sides were short, a man and a woman and the middle imp was quite tall with large, curved horns along with a unique white patch over his right eye.
 “That’s gotta be him,” the short male imp with freckle like white spots on his face said pointing to you
 “Yep, that’s the target,” The woman imp agreed in a southern tone that reminded you of Striker’s.
 “Alrighty then~! Let’s get this done!” The tall imp happily exclaimed
 “Who…the fuck are you?” You hesitated for a moment because honestly the whole scene with these three had taken you a little off guard.
 “We’re the ones who’re gonna kill you,” The tall imp boasted aiming a flint lock pistol at you.
 “Oh…are you?” You smirked wide because these three goof balls were not even close to a threat in your head not considering the others who’ve come after you in the past.
 The tall imp let out a scoffed laugh then fired as if to prove the point to you, shocked when you quickly dodged the shot. You lunged forwards easily tackling him to the ground while wrapping your impossibly long tail around the small male imp’s waist in order to yank him into the female imp sending them both over the table in the kitchen causing them to hit the cabinets in a heap.
 “You fucker!” The tall imp cursed at you managing to wrench an arm free much to your surprise especially as it landed to your face.
 You hissed in pain before landing a punch of your own followed by a second, but the tall imp managed to get a knee underneath you and kicked out causing you to fall backwards straight onto your ass. The smaller imps managed to get back up now, advancing to join the fight again instantly putting you once again at a disadvantage, luckily you were used to being the under dog. You grabbed the ankle of the small male imp with your tail, yanking him into the tall imp causing them to fall to the side allowing you an opening to get up, running towards the small female imp. You dodged her swing with the knife she’d pulled, grabbed her shoulders and flipped over her head landing right in front of the cabinets of the kitchen where you opened the drawer to grab your pistol. Turning on your heel you fired off a few rounds causing the group to scatter with the two small imps running into your bedroom while the tall imp hid behind the divider wall in the living room, perfect.
 You ran to your bedroom immediately closing and locking the door (you never knew why it locked from the outside) to trap the two inside leaving the tall imp alone in your main apartment area. You heard the two exclaim a ‘sir’ and ‘Blitz’ from inside, was that the tall imps name? Either way you slowly crept to the divider wall seeing Blitz or you guessed that was his name now, peeking slightly around the far corner. You smirked cockily until a tail whipped your hand causing you to drop the pistol with a yelp of surprise, Blitz burst from around the divider wall to land a hard kick to your chest sending you backwards into the dresser that sat against the far wall just outside your bedroom door. You coughed violently while clutching your chest, wincing in pain from having hit the dresser you looked up to see Blitz once again pointing his flint lock at you with some blood running from his nose where you hit him.
 “Fuck! You were supposed to be an easy mark,” Blitz exclaimed irritably
 “Ha-ha, I’ve never been an easy mark…I’m not gonna start now,” You laughed in amusement although at this moment it seemed like you were out of luck.
 “Hey! Blitzy~ Do Ya mind not aiming a gun at my sex ticket,” Striker’s smooth drawl sounded from behind Blitz.
 “You’ve got to be kidding me! YOU!” Blitz exclaimed turning around revealing Striker holding one of his revolvers at his head.
 “You’ve got great timing,” You commented with a genuine smile towards Striker
 “So, I’ve been told,” Striker smirked
 “Why the fuck are you here? What is going on here?” Blitz exclaimed as it appeared he knew Striker
 “Yer tryin’ to shoot my fuck buddy and I take exception to that Blitzy,” Striker hissed
 “Is that Striker? Let me at that rat bastard!” The female imp broke down your bedroom door
“Millie! Wait!” You heard the shorter male imp call after her as she full force heading for Striker
 “No, you don’t!” You growled whipping your tail out to wrap around her ankle, tripping her then coiling it tightly around her body to restrain her.
 “Millie! Let her go!” The small male imp barked at you, but you simply reached out to grab him by the collar, shoving him up against the wall.
 “Striker! Who are these idiots?” You asked once the two little imps were pinned down by you
 “Blitz runs his own killin’ biz here in imp city. We met at the harvest moon festival where he ruined one of my jobs all because I was trying to kill his precious Goetia prince,” Striker quickly explained with a chuckle
 “Goetia…Why would he care about a Goetia prince?” You wondered arching an eyebrow
 “You don’t need to fucking know,” Blitz interjected irritably
 “Cause their fuckin’,” Striker simply stated with a shrug
 “You’re fucking a Goetia? Seriously? What wack fuck world did I just get dragged into?” You asked in disbelief.
 “Ugh! Look I’ve been hired to kill this imp and I don’t give a shit if you two are fucking or not!” Blitz growled in aggravation.
 “Humph, eye for an eye. Huh Blitz?” Striker taunted
 “There are two of us now and I won’t hesitate to put the 3 of you six feet in the ground,” You warned
 “So, what’s it gonna be…Blitz?” Striker asked his tone lowering an octave to show how serious he was.

It really does get me sometimes how a not insignificant number of people online are sort of like... furiously incensed with what people probably think about when they jerk off, like this is a moral thing that needs their input.
And I've been told "you can be mad at more than one thing at once," and like maybe that's true, but I reserve that for thinking both Flint MI and Jackson MS being out of clean water is really bad, not that I hate cops but ALSO need to police peoples wank fantasies or favorite TV shows.

Chapter 17: supernova (1)
Timeskip (next morning)
This time it was Jim who woke the other cabin boy up. They did their normal routine but that day they had to scrub the deck. And the worst thing was that it was under Silvers supervision. "How about a longboat tour after ya finish?", the cyborg suggested suddenly. Sam raised one brow and looked at him. "I can tell that ya still uncomfortable with the stuff that happened yesterday, pup. The two of ya can find me in the galley when ya finished.", Silver told them and left. The two boys looked at each other and kept working. When they were done they went to the longboats with Silver and made one ready to leave. Silver and Sam sat in it and let it down before the teen started it and flew a bit, leaving Jim behind. "What are ya waitin' for lad? Come on.", called the pirate. Sam saw Jim who smiled and jumped down in the longboat. "Come 'ere pup. Let Jimbo try." Sam nodded and sat in Silvers lap, something he always did when the pirate told him stories or when they watched the holograms in the book about Captain Flint. Silver explained the controls to him but it seemed like that Jim didn't need it. He pushed the buttons and flew off with high speed. "Whoa, careful...", laughed Sam and looked over the edge. They flew behind a meteor and when they came out they had ice on their clothes and in their hair. The  three guys laughed and made their way back to the Legacy. They pulled the longboat up again. "You having a little trouble there?", laughed Jim and pulled the rope. Silver laughed and Sam grunted while trying to get the boat up by himself. "Oh., get away from me.", chuckled the cyborg and sat down while his youngest made a knot to secure the longboat. Then he sat beside his captain. "That was awesome! Where have you learned to fly it that good?", asked Sammy. "Well...I prefer solar-surfing. I have seen people at my moms Inn coming with longboats tho. They showed me.", answered Jim. "Oh Jimbo... if I could maneuver a skiff like that when I was your age..they'd be bowing in ta streets when I walked by today." "Bowing in the streets.", repeated Morph and shifted into Silver. The three males sat down and Sam stole Silver hat before leaning back and sticking his tongue out. Silver put his arm around Sammy's shoulder and leaned back too. "I don't know.", started Jim. "They weren't exactly singing my praises when I left home.", he said and leaned forward. "But I'm gonna change all that." "Are ya now? How so?", asked Silver and whipped his forehead. Jim grinned, put his hands behind his head and leaned back as well. "Uh, I got some plan. Gonna make people see me a little different." Sam and Silver looked at each other with a worried look. "You know...sometimes, plans go astray.", said Sam nervously and Silver nodded. "Not this time", the teenager smiled. "Hmm...", thought Silver and lifted his leg up. He tried to repair his robotic leg but struggled a bit. Morph noticed and turned into a wrench. "Oh, thank you Morphy.", he said and kept tinkering around with his leg. "Need help?", asked Sammy. "No pup. It's fine this time.", assured the pirate and the 16 year old nodded. "So uh,", started Jim and got the attention of the two other guys. "How'd that happen anyway?", he asked and rubbed his arm. Silver looked at his arm and sighed. "You give up a few things chasing a dream." "Was it worth it?" Silver stood up, snatched his hat off of Sammy's head and sat down beside Jim. "Heh...I'm hoping it is, Jimbo.", he said and closed his eyes, Jim did the same. "I most surely am." Sam looked at them with a smile. The teen noticed that his captain grew soft for the younger cabin boy and was glad that they got along so well.

Black Sails IV (S1E4) review
Spoilers for up to and including E4.
Boat episode! Boat episode! Boat episode!
But more on that later. We start with Gates having a little bit of an identity crisis with the whole "captain Gates" thing. Honestly, the past few episodes have shown that he's a really good quartermaster, but might not be quite cut out for being a captain. It's clear that Flint trusts him and believes in him, but I think a lot of the decision around putting Gates in charge comes from the fact that he's unquestionably loyal to Flint, not in his potential as a captain. On the plus side, Billy does seem to be doing very well as a quartermaster. It's clear that he's popular with the crew, as they all cheer for Gate's suggestion of him. Unfortunately for Billy, this whole promotion has come at a bad time for him personally, as he's just been told about the whole Maria Aleyne thing (maybe not the whole story but still concerning) and he's still feeling conflicted about the note (even if it worked out in the end). He'd clearly make a good quartermaster on the working with the crew side of things, but it'll also be his job to hold Flint accountable, which he's maybe less prepared/equipped to do. Also, there are maybe some things he can never change about the crew, like the "fuck tent" (an unnecessary detail imo, but I guess it helps with that point), but he still ends up getting them to do the job very efficiently, according to De Groot, which is saying a lot (De Groot has evidently Seen Some Shit and also doesn't seem very easily impressed). Speaking of De Groot, he is one of the only people who sees right through Flint. Flint's able to whip the crew up into a frenzy, talk Gates and Billy onto his side and also convince Eleanor that his wild idea could be profitable, but he can't convince De Groot to care about anything other than the ship and the safety of the crew which, honestly, good for him. I do wish we got a little more of De Groot's general practicality because it provides an interesting contrast to Flint's dreams and manipulation/motivation of the crew, but I guess his POV would be a lot less interesting for just that reason.
The careening of the ship was a very interesting way to both really involve the physicality of the ship and the practical elements of working it and to show the crew on a day to day basis. We see the crew just hanging out, something that we don't see a lot of but really helps to emphasise that these pirates, who have been painted as "monsters" by mainstream society, are really just people. I especially liked the detail of Morely (who's previously just been an obstacle to Flint's plans) getting on well with Randall and going to bring Betsy some barnacles. Unfortunately, another painfully human element of these pirates is that they slack off sometimes and that even Billy can't talk them out of it and, when dealing with something as physically massive as the ship, it can have fatal consequences. The ominous creaking was a nice touch, and honestly the whole scene was very well-done, but I also have to add that I genuinely couldn't watch it the first time. For those who may be worried, or who didn't notice, Betsy does escape and is seen running off across the beach. We never see her again, so I like to imagine she got adopted by a fishmonger and lived happily ever after.
Before I get into the rest of the whole ship scene, I need to cover the little bit of Flint and Silver development that we get. Silver is starting to struggle with his whole cook facade, something that I think we can assume Flint knows about, given that he figured out the stolen page thing, but that Flint needs to help him maintain so that Silver can keep giving him the schedule's info and nobody ever realises that Flint framed Singleton. As a result, Flint needs to help Silver cook the pig. Silver also has a point about Flint, a pirate captain, somehow knowing how to cook a pig (more on that later sort of), but Flint is not willing to give Silver any information on anything, or to let him give any advice on the crew (probably a smart move at the moment). Silver's got to learn that his regular tricks just don't work with Flint (I think it's the autism).
In light of this, Silver's move when it comes to the ship tipping is interesting. Flint's willingness to immediately put himself in danger (even going as far as to tell De Groot to save the ship even if it means killing him) to save members of his crew does shed an interesting light on his character too, but it feels like more of a confirmation of something (like he was kind of on the fence in my mind and this just brought him down on one side), not a genuinely out of character moment. Silver, on the other hand, is yet to show any signs of caring about the crew or the ship besides what they can do for him. It is, therefore, interesting that he also brings himself into that whole conflict. In my mind, there are multiple potential reasons for this, and honestly, even knowing the full range of what happens to this character across the whole show, I still can't decide what his motivation was. The ideas I've come up with (ranging from least to most critical of Silver) are: a) he knew he could help (note him looking at the cleaver) and genuinely wanted to save a life, b) he was worried that someone else would notice the cleaver and call him out on his inaction, c) he knew that Flint dying would make his position more precarious, so only did what he did after Flint put himself in danger so he wouldn't die, or d) he knew that putting himself in such an emotionally intense moment with Flint would make him more likely to trust him and help the crew feel more positively towards him. It could be any combination of those things, or something else I haven't thought of, I genuinely don't know. It's also worth noting that, even if Silver did what he did for a genuinely selfless reason, he still wasn't willing to get too involved or put himself in too much danger, as he just threw down the cleaver and stepped away (I mean, maybe he didn't feel qualified to make that decision, but still). Then there's the question of Flint and Morely: did he choose to save Randall over Morely, not realise Morely was there, or deliberately push Morely under? Again, I'm not sure about this one, but I also don't know if I saw everything so if someone has any information I'm missing, please let me know. It's also worth noting that Billy is the one who goes looking for Morely, as he is potentially the only one who knows both the full extent of M's distrust for F, and also knows of F's willingness to kill people who get in his was (and in the way of his mission). On a more positive note, at least this time Flint was dressed for getting covered in blood.
Also, we need a moment of appreciation for Gates and Billy's father/son relationship. The fact that it's implied that Gates talked to De Groot before he even talked to Billy because he knew that Billy would be feeling guilty about it and also just generally him calling Billy son. I honestly just love them. There's also some insight into how both of them see Flint. Gates seems resigned to having little to no control over him, as he just tells Billy that "nobody could have done that" when Billy suggests he might have been able to convince Flint to careen the ship somewhere safer, whereas Billy, although he feels more of a responsibility to stop Flint than Gates does, is more afraid of him than Gates is. Between the two of them, I think we're just learning that no one can control Flint. In fact, the only person who ever seems to have gotten Flint to do what they want is Silver (by burning the page and forcing Flint to keep him alive). This definitely won't go wrong at all.
Speaking of Flint, we get more insight on him (from here on out, I'm going to commit to calling Flint insight Flintsight). We start with that sex scene that I wouldn't necessarily call emotionless, it's just that the emotions are... not the ones you'd expect. Flint doesn't seem mentally there at all, and Miranda seems like she's looking for some kind of connection with him that she knows she won't find. There's a lot of debate around the nature of their relationship, but I would cite this scene as some fairly solid evidence that there's basically no sexual attraction there. Even afterwards, Flint's obvious hesitance to put his arms round Miranda and the sense that he doesn't really know what to do suggests to me that this isn't something that either of them do often. On the other hand, Flint giving Miranda a forehead kiss felt much more comfortable and natural for them. Now, thrown into the mix, we get Thomas Hamilton, the guy who we don't know and only know of through Richard Guthrie's sensationalised gossip story of what happened. It does provide a somewhat viable explanation for how Miranda, a woman from a fairly obviously upper class background, and Flint, a man who doesn't seem to be from a similar background, ended up on Nassau together, but Miranda and Flint's earlier discussion about Thomas suggests that both of them feel too strongly about their old lives and the role Thomas played in them for the situation to have been both of them just recklessly hurting him and risking their respective social standings. The other thing that this backstory plays into is Miranda's obvious sense of loneliness. When she says "this life we've been living here, it doesn't feel like living anymore", it feels like a confirmation of everything we've seen of her so far, but it's also clear from what we've seen of Flint when he isn't with Miranda that, regardless of what he tells her (or even tells himself), he's now fully entrenched in the workings of Nassau and isn't getting out any time soon. We also see more of her isolation from the inner-islanders with the child throwing rocks at her and calling her a witch, and her sad harpsichord music. In light of all of this, her teaming up with Richard Guthrie feels like less of a betrayal of Flint and more like one last attempt to get her old life back. Richard Guthrie, however, does not have me sold on his whole need to protect Eleanor thing. I don't quite know what his motivations are but I'm not buying parental love as one of them. Regardless of R Guthrie's motivations, we now have another scheme and secret. Yay more secrets! I have no idea how this could ever go wrong!
Richard Guthrie, whatever his motivations, does seem really set on stopping Eleanor, however he does it. We do get a sense that Eleanor is the kind of person who sets her mind on a goal and won't go back on it (see Hornigold's concern about her use of authority regarding Max and Vane), even to the extent of betraying Mr Scott, something that evidently hurts both of them. This does feel like another episode of Eleanor and her fathers. It does look like Eleanor really appreciates her father's praise (and is subsequently really hurt by his betrayal of her) but also isn't willing to afford Mr Scott the level of trust that she wants her father to give her. Then there's the element of Richard literally owning Mr Scott, something that the show will not let us forget (as we absolutely should not), reminding us through Richard's weird monologue about Mr Scott "earning himself an education". Despite this, it is clear that Mr Scott does care for Eleanor, as his backing Richard does eventually hinge on a desire to help her. Flint, on the other hand, is an interesting contrast to RG and MS, as they just start to egg each other on. Flint urges Eleanor to drink to "(their) endeavour" and tells her that "nobody will believe it's possible until we show them", convincing her that the seemingly impossible can be achieved. They definitely make an interesting pairing.
While all this shit is going down, the Ranger crew are having a rough time of it. I don't really want to discuss the whole Max scene in and of itself, as honestly it does feel too graphic and, other than emphasising Max's resilience, doesn't really add a huge amount to the show. It is interesting to see how Jack and Anne respond differently to this, though, as Anne sees the whole situation as fundamentally wrong, whereas Jack seems to be stuck on Max's value as an asset. This is probably the first time I've seen the two of them at odds, and the first time that I've seen Anne's gender become a point of conflict in her life as a pirate. Jack isn't made completely unlikeable, though, as his whole "you'd be an asset to any crew" talk with Anne is quite sweet.
Vane, meanwhile, is really not coping well. Jack notes that he's "graduated to opium", and he's also seeing a random man in places (on my first watch I wasn't sure whether the man was actually there or not, but I'm now fairly certain he's a hallucination). There are hints of his backstory with a particularly distinctive scar also being linked to the man, and hallucination Eleanor's thing with "the weakness behind the mask". We also see him get into shit with Noonan's gang (which we probably should have seen coming), and see that even in the state he's in he's still a formidable fighter, with a somewhat feral style (and also look in his current state). Even in Nassau, though, killing a bunch of people in the street, even if they were going to kill you, doesn't feel like a fantastic move.

Chapter 56
This time when she leaves, none of us even tries to stop her.
Chapter 56 summary: The shop girl, introduced as Tess, says that they have to enter a competition to win the water of youth or the tears or whatever it’s called today. Tess seems mildly amused that Jikan failed to tell them this, but judging by how the others are reacting, none of them thought it was real, either.
There’s a lot of hemming and hawing and teeth-grinding on Grace’s part before she asks for more details from Tess. The woman tells her that literally nobody has won yet. And the almost comically large number on her sports jersey is the number of people who’ve tried to win and failed. Hudson obviously doesn’t want her to do it, but Grace feels she has no choice.
Chapter 57
As she pulls out her wand and begins the necessary steps to open a portal, I can’t help but notice she never agreed with me.
Chapter 57 summary: Macy suggests that they go to the vampire court to meet up with her mother. She also thinks that since the focus has always been on the children, that her father is being kept simply to contain the children. However, the vampire brothers are quick to call Macy out on her shit, and tell her that she doesn’t know what she’s walking into.
Finally, Jaxon gets a message from his vampire friends whom he sent to the court to do some recon work. They report back that Marise had been right: Cyrus is draining the children of their magic. The brothers say that their father has done stuff like this in the past, but none of it actually worked out for him. They guess he must have figured something out after the two of them left home, in order for him to try this again.
Macy gets increasingly irate when the brothers tell her once again that they literally cannot go to the vampire court unless they’re suicidal. She tries to emotionally blackmail Grace by reminding her cousin of exactly what’s on the line here. But Grace decides that they need to retreat and think things through for now. Much to Macy’s dismay.
Chapter 58
“We have an emergency,” Jaxon bites out. “They’re gone!”
Chapter 58 summary: Hudson wakes Grace up sometime later, and she thinks about how little sleep she’s been running on for the past several days. She goes to take care of bathroom needs before going back out. They then bang; excuse me if I don’t read this because the vaguely-worded sex scene adds nothing to the paper-thin plot.
As they finish, Jaxon bursts in to say that a mysterious “they” are gone.
Chapter 59
“Macy, Flint, and Mekhi portaled to the Vampire Court while you were…‘showering.’”
I can’t even pretend to be surprised over a group breaking away. All they’ve done is fight amongst each other since the start of this book. And then Macy’s behaviour was beyond shitty the day before.
“As the gargoyle queen, you have every right to put your people first, Grace,” she continues. “And maybe that’s not what you’re doing. But I can see why Macy would feel differently. Can’t you?”
Honestly, I don’t. Macy is being stupid, especially after both Jaxon AND Hudson told her that running in right then would be a terrible idea. She doesn’t have a plan, and barely has three people behind her. ONE OF WHOM HAD HIS LEG RIPPED OFF NOT EVEN A WEEK EARLIER.
And if that’s the case, I don’t have a clue how we’re supposed to get out of this alive.
Chapter 59 summary: As you can imagine, Grace and Hudson are too flustered over having been caught to focus on anything Jaxon is saying. He leaves them to get dressed, so Grace quickly throws on some clean clothes.
Downstairs, the others tell them that Macy, Flint, and Hekhi left for the Vampire court a while ago. This needs to be discussed, but not one single person says that the three who left are being fucking stupid, so I don’t care.
Eventually, it’s decided that they should go in near the servant’s quarters. Being a narcissist, Cyrus doesn’t pay attention to the help, and is seemingly unaware of where the servants even spend the night.
Grace says that she can brush up against the green string to time-stop the guards as they make their way to the children. The others agree that as long as she doesn’t rip another hole in time, Jikan will not show up and yell at her again.

traitor. (sokka x f!reader) pt 26
part 1 | part 25
a/n: no matter how long you have been here, just know i'm extremely grateful for anyone who's read this fic. now here's the latest chapter.
Tumblr media
Sometimes it felt like the days dragged on. Each and every hour was laid out just like the day before–the week before. It made time seem endless, even though Y/N knew it definitely was not. Sozin’s Comet was getting closer and closer each day. Y/N didn’t know if it was the anticipation for that long fated day or if it was some buried fire bender gene in her body, warning her of something to come. She could feel it deep within her bones. She woke up earlier and earlier each day, no matter how late her night ended up. And each day the sun greeted her with warm yellow light that made the air a little easier to breathe.
As they moved further south and into Fire Nation territory, Zuko made mention of Ember Island as a place to hide out. The island–or chain of islands, really–were close enough to Caldera City that it would be a good place for them to lay low and wait, as well as uninhabited by enough people that they could lay low.
Y/N thought it was a little risky to be living in the Fire Lord’s Ember Island house, but Zuko was probably right, this was going to be the last place anyone would look for them. Maybe Y/N was just unsettled about being back, so close to Caldera City, or maybe it was being back on Ember Island for the first time since she was 9.
Somewhere between the temple and the beach house, Y/N tired of training. It just added to the monotony, and so she just…stopped. Instead, she spent her days on the beach, sometimes alone–often with the others though–playing in the tide pools and skim-boarding on the sand. And sometimes, if she felt like she didn’t have enough time on her own to recharge, she’d leave in the night, either through her window or the front door to take a walk on the beach in the moonlight. Only to come back and wake up a few hours later, ready for sunrise.
Today was no different, though the sun was already peeking over the horizon and into her room when her eyes peeled open.
The wooden floors creaked under Y/N’s feet as she crept out of her room silently.
Each board was smooth under her bare toes, not well-worn by many little feet running across them year after year but made that way before they were even built into the house, for no doubt a hefty fee. The beach house was… cold, to say the least. It just felt like each pore of the house seeped something uninviting, reminding them that they shouldn’t be there. It wasn’t just Y/N who felt it, they all spent as little time as possible in the house.
She padded into the kitchen and struck their flint to start a fire under the stove–mostly unneeded since Zuko had joined their group–but wholly necessary when he wasn’t around to be their fire-starter. Y/N didn’t mind doing it this way, it felt nice being able to do something with her own hands for once instead of relying on the others to make clean water or heat up the food. She boiled just enough water for one cup of tea before heading out to the courtyard where she knew at least two of her friends would be awake.
Y/N didn’t like feeling optimistic. It was a terrifying feeling. There was so much riding on their success; she didn’t want to spend so much energy on hoping only to have it all dashed away if things didn’t go their way. It would be too heartbreaking. But watching Aang, she could. They weren’t even sparring and she could see the power behind every blast of fire. And she had hope for their future. She had to; she wasn’t going to lose her friends.
“You’re doing that one wrong,” Y/N said from the shadows on the porch. She held her warm cup to her chest, the breeze blowing in from the ocean was keeping the courtyard chilly until the sun could rise high enough to heat the island.
Aang didn’t seem too surprised to hear her voice. “Doing what wrong?” He asked, confused.
Zuko frowned up at Y/N from his seat on the steps but nodded to Aang. “She’s right, you have to dip further down so when you come up the fire creates more of an arc.”
Aang pushed through a few more poses before Zuko stood up and joined him. Y/N stole his seat and pulled her legs up to cross them. She watched as they moved in tandem, working though the most basic of firebending forms all the way up to a few advanced ones. Memories flooded Y/N’s head so fast it made her dizzy. She remembered sitting just like she was now, watching her two brothers work through their forms when she was younger. On chilly mornings, much like today, she would wrap herself in a blanket nest and sip on tea that was much too sweet as they worked well into mid morning. In a sudden rush of affection she realized she was doing much of the same thing, just years and years later.
Aang had learned fast. That was good. She set down her empty cup as the two boys headed back to her, both sweaty from their training. “Good job, Aang! You’re doing great!”
Aang beamed with pride. “Thanks, Y/N!
“Don’t be so encouraging, he’s still got a lot to learn,” Zuko grumbled, taking a seat on the ground next to her.
Y/N pouted. “He needs encouragement. That’s how he learns.” Y/N learned that from watching the differences between Katara teaching styles and Toph’s teaching styles.
“Speaking of firebending,” Aang kicked his feet against the edge of the steps and looked around like he was avoiding something. “How did you know about the firebending forms?”
Zuko leaned back on his hands. “I’d like to know that too.”
Y/N smiled softly. “I watched my brothers for years, religiously learning all the forms and practicing them on my own. I wanted to be just like them. I guess I still remember them.”
Aang frowned. “It’s not like you couldn’t bend on purpose.”
Y/N was surprised to see Aang look so sad. “I know.” She shrugged and looked away feeling her cheeks redden with both boys staring at her. “I just wanted to be normal so people would stop paying attention to me for the wrong reasons.” She mumbled.
“It made you a better sword fighter,” Zuko said suddenly.
“What?” Y/N asked.
“The discipline and movements. You do the same when you’re fighting.”
“I’ve never noticed, but you’re right, Zuko!” Aang exclaimed.
The thought made Y/N smile. “That was nice of you.”
Zuko rolled his eyes but let the smallest hint of a smile grace his lips.
She looked back to Aang, who still looked a bit hesitant. “Don’t worry about me. How about we go swimming? Before the others wake up!”
Aang perked up immediately. “That sounds great! Let’s go, Zuko!”
Y/N and Aang stood, both looking down at Zuko, who just stared at the ground between his feet. She could already hear him saying no, telling them that he needed to train more or meditate and didn’t have time to run off and play games.
Y/N opened her mouth to tell Aang that the two of them could still go but Zuko spoke up before her. “Yeah, okay.”
Sometimes even on those long, dragging days, it was the little things that made everything better; like playing in the surf with two of your friends.
---
That evening though, Y/N was back where she had started the day, and had decided that everyone in her group of friends, save for maybe Zuko, talked way too much. She craved those moments alone where she just had her thoughts to occupy her. Especially when she had a lot on her mind.
Y/N didn’t want to admit she felt stuck inside with Aang and Katara while everyone else was outside enjoying the evening, but she also felt guilty in turning down their request to help make dinner to just wander around on the beach until sunset. She didn’t help out much with making meals, and she felt obligated to help when she could.
So she was there, sitting on the dinner table, lotus style with a knife and a cutting board and a basket of carrots in need of chopping at her side.
“What else can I do, Katara?” Aang dumped some of the vegetables he was cutting into the stew Katara was currently stirring over the stove.
“Hmm, can you go out and get some more water to make the rice?” Aang grinned and nodded, before running out of the house towards the side of the house where there was a small barrel of collected water.
Y/N smiled to herself at the interaction and continued cutting carrots for Katara, trying not to let her mind wander, but it was hard with the monotonous work and the bad spot she was sitting in.
Just in front of her was the window where she had watched Zuko and Aang train while she made tea that morning, now it showed Zuko and Sokka doing their own training.
Y/N was struggling with more than just feeling like she didn’t belong on the Island. She didn’t know what she was going to say to Sokka, or if she was even going to say anything about her feelings at all. Without the constant traveling and the safety of a hideout, she was able to just stop and let those feelings and thoughts she had been holding back with a dam of fear wash over her.
It was all really confusing for Y/N. And hard to admit.
She didn’t want to face the awkward conversation of asking whether he could always be there for her. She didn’t want to beg him to never leave because she was so insecure. She was so afraid of losing everything and everyone that she was going to do just that because she was afraid of opening up.
What would happen if she never told Sokka she loved him back? Did she even love him back? What did love feel like?
Love with Azula felt like fire, sometimes it burned painfully, but in the good times it filled her with a warmth like never before. Zuko’s friendship felt the same, but it was less like sitting too close to the fire and more like sitting just in the right place where it didn’t dry out your eyes but didn’t make goosebumps grow on your arms. Sokka always felt like a cool breeze, one where you lift your face up to the sky and smile because it always feels like relief. But that’s not what Y/N is used to. How does she know if it’s love if it doesn’t hurt a little bit? How does she know that it's real if she doesn’t have to give all of herself until she is worn to nothing to make it work?
It wasn’t that she was afraid to care for him, she had made it clear that she did. It was just easier on her heart to keep him at a distance for now until she figured they were inevitably part ways. That’s how Y/N saw this all ending. Separated across oceans, back to where they came from, whatever the outcome of the war. Y/N wanted to dream of the possibilities and opportunities where they could be together in the long run, but those were just that, dreams for another lifetime. People from the Water Tribe didn’t marry people from the Fire Nation.
Everything that she learned over the last few months was that nothing was ever set in stone, so why should she and Sokka be.
Y/N stared out the window, pondering when it would all fall apart and sliced downwards on a carrot, but met nothing but the cutting board. She looked down where the knife was closer to her finger than to the carrots. She let out a little inward gasp.
“What?” Katara turned around and asked.
Y/N’s eyes widened. “Nothing.” She motioned to the cutting board. “Do you want these smaller?”
Katara eyed Y/N and then looked to the cutting board. “They’re fine. But pay more attention, I don’t know how to reattach fingers yet.”
“Yeah, definitely.”
Y/N’s eyes didn’t leave the wooden cutting board and her fingers until the others came bustling into the kitchen, all talking at once.
Y/N for the most part ignored everyone, until Sokka reached over and snatched one of the slices of carrots.
Y/N nudged his arm. “Can you wait?! I thought you didn’t like vegetables!”
“Aang got me to like carrots!” Sokka retorted, before quickly reaching around Y/N to grab another and popping it into his mouth.
“Why would you be sitting on the table that we have to eat off of?” Suki wrinkled her nose.
“Uh! Katara said I could!” Y/N stuck her tongue out.
Katara whipped around, hands on her hips. “I never said you could, I just didn’t say you couldn’t.” Katara turned back to stirring the stew before muttering under her breath, “Not like telling you no would have made a difference anyways.”
“Hey!” Y/N picked up a carrot and launched it at the back of Katara’s head.
Aang walked back inside carrying a bucket of water, to a kitchen full of chaos. Vegetables were being thrown across the room at one another, as laughter rang out. Sokka, Zuko and Y/N were sprawled on one side of the kitchen behind and under the table; with Suki, Katara and Toph only edging from behind the safety of the kitchen doorway to throw something.
For the first time in a long time, Y/N could hear the exasperation of a 112 year old monk in Aang’s usually cheerful voice.“Uh, guys, what are we supposed to eat for dinner now?”
---
Y/N was dozing against the headboard of her bed that night, when she heard the knock at her door. At first she thought she imagined it, that is until she heard a voice on the other side of the doorway. “Y/N, are you awake?”
Y/N slid out of bed and cracked open the door. She smiled and leaned against the doorjamb, a familiar feeling in her chest.
“Are you afraid that there are ghosts here too?”
Sokka grinned and nodded. “In this house? Absolutely. But I’m not here for that.”
“Oh?” Y/N raised an eyebrow.
“Come outside with me.”
Y/N chuckled. “Why?”
“Please, just come on. No questions.”
Y/N sighed and reached for an old silk robe she found in one of the closets, but her smile never left her face.
To be fair to Sokka, there wasn’t much to surprise Y/N with on an island she grew up on. But that night, the sky momentarily took her breath away.
Sometimes the simplest things were the most beautiful.
“I thought we could come out here; look at the stars a bit. I used to like doing that at home. Though it’s different. The constellations aren’t the same where I’m from.”
“I guess I’ll just have to teach you some.”
Together they laid side by side on the roof, and Y/N pointed out her favorites. The dragon, the jack-rabbit...
After Y/N had told Sokka the story of the Red Queen, some ancient fable of a powerful Fire Lady that was always one of Y/N’s favorites, they both grew quiet, Y/N asked the question that had been brewing on her mind. She worried that whatever she said would mess up the peaceful night they had been having. It felt like she was intruding on a secret that she wasn’t supposed to know.
“Hey, Sokka,” Y/N asked.
“Hmmm,” She looked over and Sokka looked about half asleep already. Maybe this would be good timing.
“Who’s Yue?”
Sokka’s eyes shot open and he sat up quickly. “What?”
Y/N could feel her face flush. Maybe she wasn’t supposed to know.
“Yue.” The word sounded flat and foreign on her tongue. Maybe that wasn’t how you actually pronounced it? Some of the Water Tribe names and words were hard for Y/N’s mouth to form. If she could, she flushed deeper. “I heard you talking about them when I was hurt. I was in and out of it, so I don’t remember much, but I remember the name.”
Sokka suddenly looked very sad. Which was… odd because Y/N just thought that Yue was a Water Tribe spirit much like the Fire Nation had Agni.
“She’s the moon spirit,” Sokka whispered, his eyes cast down on his wringing hands.
Y/N eyes were wide. Why was he acting like this? “Oh. I figured she was a spirit or something. It sounded like you were praying to her, or something.”
“Yeah,” Sokka choked out. “Something like that.”
That’s when Y/N noticed there were drips of water on Sokka’s hands. Tears.
“Sokka?” Y/N said softly. She reached forward and–yup those were tears, dripping on their hands.
“She was a girl I met at the Northern Water Tribe when we first started traveling.”
“I thought she was…”
“She is.” For the first time, Sokka looked up. The pain in his eyes was unimaginable. “But she was still a girl when I met her.”
Sokka launched into a story that sounded more fantasy than real, but the look on his face, the sadness in his features, Y/N knew he was telling the truth.
“She was blessed by the moon spirit when she was born, it was the only reason she was alive. But when we were in the Northern Water Tribe—Zhao, a Fire Nation commander killed the moon spirit and all the water benders lost their bending, forever.” Sokka shivered. “It was scary, the moon was gone in the sky and we were helpless to fight the Fire Nation. It would have changed the tide of the war.
But she was selfless. She knew that she was the only hope for her tribe—for the world—and she sacrificed herself to save all of us. So now she’s the moon spirit…I guess. I don’t know, she’ll always be Yue to me.” Sokka’s voice trailed off with a sniffle. Y/N didn’t know how to respond.
Sokka sent a longing glance upward. The moon was just past full, waning in the far distance but still bright and round in the sky. “I think–I think she heard me that night. And she knew how much you meant to me, even then. And she saved you because…” Now it was Sokka’s turn to flush. “I don’t think I could live without you.”
Those words made Y/N’s chest burn. Her arms and legs tingled in relief as if all the tension in her body began to melt away. Y/N reached out, wiping a stray tear off of Sokka’s cheek. “Me either,” she replied instantly. “I’m sorry, I didn’t mean to make you sad.”
“’m not. Sad, really. I miss her, but it’s easier to always know where she is. She didn’t have a lot of choice in her life, but this was something she had control over. If she hadn’t become the moon spirit, the war would have ended right there. So her sacrifice meant that, you know, Zuko is our friend now and Aang has a chance at beating the Firelord and you have a place in all our lives. She made all of this possible.”
“Sounds like we have a lot more to be thankful to her for than just saving little old me then, huh?”
“You would have liked her.”
Y/N nodded and peered at the moon above them. “I do like her.”
No one else needed to know that after the two of them went inside and off to bed, that Y/N hung halfway out her window to get one last look at the moon. Y/N swore as her eyes closed and sleep overtook her that the moon shone a little brighter. Maybe that’s how the moon said thank you. Y/N’d never tell anyone that she whispered a small thank you too, to the girl who lived among the stars.

Could you do some dream team (separately) who’s friends with a male streamer reader, and they just think their really good friends, but after reader comes out on stream they go “uh oh, UH OH” and it’s some good old fashion pining.
Fair warning, I’m straight as a pole and not very educated about coming out or that kind of stuff in general. If I got something wrong, educate me please. I hope you enjoy it past that.
One of the boys
Pairings: Dream, Sapnap, Georgenotfound x M! Reader
Warnings: Light swearing
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
Dream
        Dream thought he knew everything about his friends. Especially with his pretty good friend, (Y/N). (Y/N) knew pretty much everything about him and he thought he knew everything in turn about him.
        Turned out, that wasn’t the case.
        (Y/N), the poor guy had been a pretty small streamer when he started to talk to Dream. Dream helped him out so much and was so nice to him, it was hard for the guy to develop a crush on the guy. He hoped to god he wasn’t super obvious about it but when the guy who you got a crush on has about nineteen million people watching him, there’s going to be at least one of them that picks up on it.
        Dream thought it was another shipping thing originally, just like with George. (Y/N) knew different of course.
        The audience just knew and found all the moments (Y/N) knew he had.
        When Dream would laugh, (Y/N) would often give a wistful smile. If someone would donate and ask if (Y/N) had seen his face, (Y/N) would brag he had but of course, go beet red thinking about it. He was also quick to join Dream’s side in any sort of disagreement.
        There…there were a lot of compilations.
        After a while, (Y/N) felt like his audience needed someone to look to with some of the stories they shared. So, he felt like it was time to finally come out.
        Dream was shocked to find out the information, to say the least. How had he completely missed this huge fact?! The faceless man was slightly concerned when he saw (Y/N) was streaming with “Serious Talk” as his stream title and tuned into the stream, finding out at (Y/N) talked to his audience about it. He sat there for a few moments as (Y/N) cheered some people on for coming out themselves.
        A few things started to make sense to Dream as he thought about it.
        “Oh.” He muttered. “OH!”
        Yeah, all of the push-away moments when (Y/N) had gotten awkward or quickly changed the subject away from different things involving Dream made so much sense now. So, when he ended his stream, Dream gave him a call.
        “Hey, what’s Dream?” (Y/N) answered, Dream able to hear him shutting down his setup.
        “I saw your stream.” Dream told him simply.
        (Y/N) paused from standing up in his chair. “Yeah?”
        “Yeah.”
        It was silent for a moment.
        “Look, I’m sorry I didn’t tell you.” (Y/N) said.
        “It’s fine. I don’t mind.”
        “Really?”
        “Yeah, you want to talk about it over some Pizza hut?” Dream grinned.
        “What?” (Y/N) asked confused. “Do you have screw loose man?”
        “No, I’m buying you a plane ticket and we’re actually going to meet at a Pizza Hut because I’m not going on a Minecraft date.”
        And that’s how Dream wheezed for three minutes on the phone as (Y/N) sat there, brain having short-circuited off.
        They’d be fine.
  ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
George
        George could kind of tell, about (Y/N), for a little while and would sometimes use this fact to fuck with him. He would do his usual stupid, flirtatious banter with him but that messed with (Y/N) more than he realized.
        (Y/N) felt like he was going to go nuts every time George would give his cute flirtatious comments. Chat knew too, and that just made (Y/N) feel like he was going to go even more nuts.
        Yet, when George did the same with Dream, (Y/N) felt jealous. If they were playing a game together and George and Dream were doing their usual fan service flirts, (Y/N) would sometimes be close by as Dream would somehow trip into lava or fall of a bridge. He didn’t know how it happened and snitches get stitches chat.
        After a while of this, (Y/N) started to gain a bit of confidence and threw it back and the shipping wars that followed after (Y/N) got confident was insane. Of course, while George’s were mostly joking, none of (Y/N)’s was.
        He eventually decided to come out after a while of his chat just piecing it together on their own and George wasn’t super surprised, mostly surprised that he had gotten it correct.
        Life went on as normal for a while but George started to see how differently his good friend acted around him. He thought it was just him being friendly but now, now it made more sense.
        “Hey (Y/N),” George said, coming up to him in-game as they were playing Minecraft on stream, big shocker.
        “Yo.” (Y/N) looked from his chat.
        George dropped him a cornflower and (Y/N) frowned.
        “What’s this for?” He asked.
        “Be my Minecraft boyfriend?”
        (Y/N).exe has stopped working.
  ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
Sapnap
        Man wouldn’t know unless someone threw a brick at him with the truth scribbled on it. (Y/N) allowed himself to be obvious knowing this fact himself.
        (Y/N) chat constantly called him a simp because of it but he didn’t give two shits and just let them have their fun. They didn’t know yet anyway.
        He would constantly “jokingly” flirt with Sapnap, covering it to say that they needed to rival Dream’s and George’s relationship just in case Sapnap got the hint. He would actually blush though when Sapnap would play along and tried to play it off with chat. It didn’t help either when they were both a rather chaotic duo together and people called (Y/N) Sapnap’s flint to his steel.
        It was a bit heartbreaking to (Y/N) though that all the comments were one-sided and Sapnap didn’t know that he was actually being more serious than he had in his life. (Y/N) let it be though and he stuck to the “jokes” and reading some fanfiction; he got bored alright?
        Finally, though, (Y/N) wanted to lead by example when a few of his donators talked about being scared to come out. It was one of the few times (Y/N) was deadly serious with his chat, usually wanting to keep things light. The internet took it from there and Sapnap was more than shocked to find out about his friend from Twitter of all things.
 ...
         Sapnap @ sapnap
        @(Username) you got something to tell me?
        (Username) @ (Username) replying to @ sapnap
        I mean, I thought it was pretty obvious man.
 ...
        Sapnap stared at his phone for a minute and thought about it. Holy hell, it had been.
 ...
        Sapnap @ sapnap replying to @ (Username) and @ sapnap
        Well then are you going to stop beating around the bush and ask me out?
 ...
        (Y/N) replied with the clip of Dream falling out of his chair because he did that same.
