I find it so funny every time zara dearborn had Cortana because she really was trying to be Emma, and I full up DIED when I read about Cortana choosing Emma.

Hot take: Jokes about what Shein and Temu do aren't funny 🤷
In fact, they need to be OPPOSED AGAINST if we want to save people.
I know I talk about Palestine a lot on this blog, but I am aware of many other groups of people suffering (Ukraine, Congo, the Uyghur Muslims, etc.)
The Uyghur Muslims, in particular, for a long time now, according to what I have seen, have been forced into concentration camps by China and tortured in various, awful ways. And as you seen below, they also are, in fact, a group forced into labor by Shein and Temu (and whatever Zara is, I've never heard of it. H&M doesn't do it, but they still need to be boycotted.)
I suggest looking deeper into what is happening to them, as well as other groups of people and/or countries in danger (even Ukraine, which everyone suddenly stopped talking about as if it was just a trend)
Human suffering isn't funny anymore. Even what North Korea has been for years is not funny. It's now on the same level as joking about the Holocaust.
ALSO, the blueberry 🫐 is NOT to support Israel. It's to support Uyghur Muslims! Don't let Israel supporters steal it. It doesn't even HAVE a history with Israel, unlike the watermelon 🍉 with Palestine. Israel supporters only use it because it's blue* 💀🙏
✊‼️🫐
(*the flag of Israel looks like this: 🇮🇱)

main takeaway from certain fan reactions to the finale is this:
the final scene with ankarna was so meaningful to the bad kids' arcs and how they made peace with being wronged by people they loved, and if all you can focus on is that the rat grinders didn't get much screentime, then you don't love dimension20 and you don't love this world: you want to be playing your own hs themed dnd campaign and you're mad the oc versions of the rat grinders you made up in your head acted ooc. these are not your characters and this is not their story.

I love how they call it a “mystery”.
This (iconic) moment during the Sochi 2014 opening ceremony where Anne whipped out an absolute bible of a book is enough to tell you why she won’t be there.
But also, that same year, she said this about opening ceremonies (and she’s right):
Princess Anne lamented to her fellow IOC members Wednesday that athletes have become an “add on” to a bigger celebration.
“I am old enough that I remember when the opening ceremony was only with the athletes,” said the British princess, who competed in equestrian at the 1976 Montreal Olympics. “To me, the balance has gone too far the other way.”
Plus, the Paris 2024 Opening Ceremony is going to be four hours long and take place outdoors on the Seine for the most part. As someone who is not 73 and recovering from a head injury, I couldn’t be arsed with that, so I can’t imagine she could be either.

People outside BDS protesting, I need you to understand a thing that I think gets misconstrued:
We all had to give up things we like. We all had to make the choice to stop eating and wearing and buying certain things that made us happy, because the companies could not be trusted with that revenue.
One of the few highlights in my deepest depression was a caramel drink at Starbucks. When I could get one, it was such a relaxing experience for my mental state. And I continued to love it until I had to de use it that drink was worth contributing to a continued genocide.
I WANT that drink back. I WANT that shred of happiness I used to need. I WANT to go there on a trip and know I don’t have to be anxious.
But I can’t. I won’t. Until they stop, I would be aiding in death more than my taxes already do.
This extends to every brand and company BDS. They were someone’s spark of joy. And they gave it up.
We just ask that you do to, and when they change, we want you to go back and enjoy. But it has to hurt them a lot, which means it’s going to hurt us a little.
We can do this

JacePorter Killing Eve au where Agent Porter Cliffbreaker is tasked with hunting down new to the scene assassin Jace Stardiamond.
Jace loves what he does and the money for gorgeous clothes & impeccable disguises doesn’t hurt, but it does get a little monotonous from time to time. It’s the same thing day in and day out: get an assignment, travel to the destination, make the kill, rinse and repeat. But this detective that’s on his tail is quite interesting. Playing with him for a while couldn’t hurt.
Porter is just as intrigued with Jace, maybe even a little obsessive. He’s never seen someone be so flashy and yet so precise and careful about murder until Jace starts slipping up. Or maybe Jace just wants to be found by his new plaything. Nonetheless, Porter will find him even if it kills him and ruins his life. He. Will. Catch. Him
But not if Jace catches him first 😉

I do think Jace is the best fuck Porter has ever had but. If asked between anyone in his life which includes Zara n Porter, it would like. Take Jace a minute of waffling between the two of them before he gave his answer and no matter what it is even if he does decide Porter, that’s too long for Porter to be happy about it

More dnd writing because it's all I have but I here's a snippet from a vignette I did of Rook's past (from Zara's POV), because Rook and his mentors never fails to make me sick (/pos).
[transcript under the cut]
Taking a coin out of her pocket, she rolled it across her knuckles, back and forth. It gave her hands something to do, and prevented the urge to bite her nails, something she hadn’t done in years.
Ten minutes passed, then twenty. Zara began to pace as Rook’s breathing grew shakier and the color drained from his skin. Where the hells is Jay? she wondered. The room was so quiet that she could hear every tick of the small clock on her bedside table, and each one echoed in her head. How many ticks does he have left? She didn’t want to think about it.
She’d had crew members die before, of course. You don’t go as many years as a captain as she had and never lose a soul. But all the others who had died had died quickly, in combat. She’d mourned for all of them, even shed tears in private, but there was something different about watching the life drain out of a person right in front of your eyes.
