Flutter App Development: Pros, Cons, and Use Cases
Is Flutter Still Worth It in 2025? Let’s Find Out. In the fast-moving world of mobile technology, choosing the right development framework is critical. As we step into 2025, Flutter app development continues to attract startups and enterprises alike. But is it the right choice for your next project? In this blog, we’ll explore the Flutter pros and cons, evaluate its performance, and compare it to React Native and native app development—so you can make an informed decision.
What Is Flutter?
Flutter is an open-source UI toolkit developed by Google, enabling developers to build natively compiled applications for mobile, web, and desktop from a single codebase. It uses the Dart programming language and provides a rich set of pre-designed widgets to streamline UI development.
Pros of Flutter App Development
Single Codebase for Multiple Platforms: Flutter allows you to write one codebase for Android, iOS, web, and desktop, significantly reducing development time and cost—ideal for startups and MVPs.
Rich, Customizable UI: Thanks to Flutter’s widget-based architecture, developers can create highly customized and responsive UIs that look the same across platforms.
Faster Time to Market: With features like hot reload, developers can make real-time changes to the code without restarting the app—accelerating the development cycle.
Strong Community & Google Support: Backed by Google and a rapidly growing community, Flutter’s plugin ecosystem and support are improving year over year.
Performance Close to Native: Unlike hybrid frameworks that use web views, Flutter compiles directly to ARM code, delivering near-native performance on both Android app development and iOS app development.
Cons of Flutter App Development
App Size: Flutter apps tend to have a larger file size due to built-in widgets and engine overhead. This can be a drawback, especially for users in bandwidth-constrained markets.
Limited Native APIs: Although plugins exist for most use cases, accessing advanced native features might still require writing platform-specific code.
Dart Language Barrier: Dart isn’t as popular as JavaScript or Kotlin. While easy to learn, it has a smaller talent pool, which might pose hiring challenges for some teams.
Platform-Specific UI Limitations: While Flutter does an excellent job at cross-platform UI consistency, replicating 100% native UX—especially for complex animations or platform-specific behaviors—may still fall short.
Performance Metrics of Flutter Apps in 2025
Startup Time: ~1.5x faster than hybrid apps but slightly slower than native apps.
UI Responsiveness: 60–120 FPS across most devices, matching native-level animation smoothness.
Memory Usage: Slightly higher than native due to rendering engine overhead, but optimized through recent updates.
Battery Consumption: Comparable to React Native; higher than native in CPU-intensive apps.
Verdict: For most applications, Flutter’s performance is more than sufficient and often indistinguishable from native experiences.
Flutter vs. React Native vs. Native Development
Language:
Flutter uses Dart, a language developed by Google.
React Native uses JavaScript, making it appealing to web developers.
Native development uses Kotlin for Android and Swift for iOS.
Code Reusability:
Flutter and React Native both offer high code reusability across platforms.
Native development, on the other hand, requires writing separate code for each platform, resulting in low reusability.
Performance:
Flutter delivers near-native performance due to its compiled code and rendering engine.
React Native offers moderate performance as it relies on a bridge to interact with native components.
Native development provides the best performance, especially for resource-intensive applications.
UI Customization:
Flutter excels in UI customization with a rich set of built-in widgets.
React Native allows decent UI control, but it depends more on third-party libraries and native components.
Native development offers the highest level of control and fidelity for platform-specific design.
Community Support:
Flutter’s community is growing rapidly and continues to evolve with strong backing from Google.
React Native has a mature and well-established community with broad adoption.
Native development benefits from extensive official support from Google and Apple.
Learning Curve:
Flutter has a moderate learning curve, especially due to the Dart language.
React Native is easier for developers familiar with JavaScript and React.
Native development typically has a steeper learning curve due to platform-specific languages and tools.
Plugin Availability:
Flutter has a good selection of plugins and is improving steadily.
React Native boasts a large number of mature and widely used plugins.
Native development allows full access to all platform APIs without any limitations.
Ideal For:
Flutter is ideal for startups, MVPs, and projects requiring a consistent look across platforms.
React Native is great for teams with web development experience and projects needing fast prototyping.
Native development is best suited for apps needing deep platform integration, high performance, or complex animations.
Best Use Cases for Flutter App Development
MVP Development: Speed and cost-effectiveness make Flutter ideal for startups testing product-market fit.
Cross-Platform Apps: Develop once, deploy everywhere—especially valuable for apps with uniform UI across platforms.
E-commerce & Fintech Apps: High-performance UI with fast iteration cycles is a must.
Internal Business Tools: Speed up development for internal apps without worrying about pixel-perfect native UX.
Media & Lifestyle Apps: Flutter’s powerful UI engine works well for content-driven apps needing visual appeal.
When NOT to Use Flutter
Apps Requiring Extensive Platform-Specific Features (e.g., complex camera integrations, hardware-level APIs).
High-Performance Gaming Apps: Native game engines still outperform Flutter for 3D or AR-based experiences.
Ultra-Lightweight Apps: If reducing APK/IPA size is mission-critical, native may be the better path.
Is Flutter Good for Startups?
Absolutely. Flutter enables faster prototyping, reduced costs, and a beautiful user interface with fewer developers. In 2025, many startups and SMEs partner with a Flutter app development company to quickly enter the market with scalable solutions.
The Future of Flutter in 2025 and Beyond
Flutter’s roadmap includes deeper native integration, smaller app size improvements, and more desktop/web optimization. With continued backing from Google and real-world adoption by companies like Alibaba, BMW, and Google Ads, Flutter is no longer just a startup toolkit—it’s enterprise-ready.
Final Thoughts
Flutter is not a one-size-fits-all solution, but it comes remarkably close. If you need high-quality cross-platform development without the overhead of native app development, Flutter is one of the best choices in 2025.
Choosing the right framework depends on your app’s goals, timeline, and user expectations. But if speed, performance, and consistent UI are top priorities, Flutter app development is a modern, powerful solution worth considering.

Will Lenney x Reader
Summary: The Reader supports Will at the 2025 Sidemen Charity Match Warnings: None Notes: Sorry it took so long! This request was so hard, writing football stressed me tf out 😅 Watching the highlights were cool too, but I had no idea what was happening most of the time. I'm a rugby gyal

The roar of the crowd at Wembley Stadium buzzed in your ears like a live wire, a relentless hum that seemed to vibrate through your bones. The sea of red-and-white scarves and kits blurred into a kaleidoscope of motion, a living, breathing entity pulsating with anticipation. You stood slightly apart from the others, your fingers absently tugging at the hem of your custom #LENNEY 2 jersey. Beneath it, the long-sleeved shirt you’d layered clung to your skin, its fabric thin and breathable but still trapping a faint warmth against your arms. The jersey itself was softer than you’d expected, the material sliding easily over the shirt’s sleeves, but the combination did little to settle the restless flutter in your chest.
The VIP box was a sensory overload—popcorn kernels scattered on the floor, their buttery scent mingling with the sharp tang of expensive perfume wafting from the women nearby. The mix was as chaotic as your nerves, a strange cocktail of comfort and unease. Below, the YouTube Allstars were a whirl of pre-match energy, their movements sharp and purposeful. Some stretched, their muscles rippling under their kits, while others laughed, tossing balls in casual arcs that belied the tension building in the stadium. But your eyes tracked only one person.
Will stood near the sideline, his back to the stands as he jogged on the spot, his own red-and-white kit clinging to his frame. Even from here, you could see the way his shoulders shook with a laugh at something Harry said, his easy confidence radiating like sunlight. You’d memorised that posture—the way he rolled his neck before big moments, the habit of tugging his sleeves over his knuckles. But today, every detail felt magnified. Would he spot you before the match? Would he even look up?
“Stop fidgeting,” Talia hissed, swatting your hand away from the jersey’s hem. Her smirk was all mischief, her gold hoops catching the stadium lights as she leaned in. “If you crease it, he’ll think you nicked it off a mannequin.”
“Or that you’ve been stress-cuddling it in secret all week,” Freya added, arching a perfectly groomed brow. She’d swapped her usual designer dresses for Sidemen merch today, though hers was artfully cropped and paired with heeled boots. “Which, let’s be honest, you probably did.”
You rolled your eyes but couldn’t suppress a grin. “I did not. I’m not the one who still sleeps in Josh’s sixth-form hoodie.”
Freya gasped, clutching her chest in mock offence, as Faith snorted, adjusting Olive on her hip. The toddler reached chubby fists towards the colourful crowd, babbling excitedly. “Don’t drag me into this,” Faith said, bouncing Olive gently. “But for the record, Ethan still has the first note I ever wrote him tucked in his phone case. Lads are sentimental creatures. Prepare for waterworks.”
You smiled at Faith, your oldest mate. The two of you had been inseparable since her family moved next door when you were kids. You’d spent countless afternoons in her back garden, dreaming about the future and giggling over crushes. When she started dating Ethan, you’d been sceptical at first—what if he didn’t like you? What if things got weird? But Ethan had welcomed you into their world with open arms, and it wasn’t long before you were hanging about with the Sidemen crew.
That’s how you met Will.
You remembered the first time Faith dragged you to one of their group outings. You’d been nervous, feeling like an outsider among the tight-knit group, but Will had noticed you sitting quietly in the corner. He’d plonked down next to you with a grin, handing you a drink and launching into a story about the time he and Simon got lost in Amsterdam. By the end of the night, your cheeks hurt from laughing, and you’d forgotten all about being nervous.
Talia leaned in closer, her voice dropping to a stage whisper that somehow carried over the growing buzz of the crowd. “Or other reactions,” she said, her eyebrows waggling like she was sharing the juiciest of secrets. Her grin was sharp, knowing, and it made your stomach flip.
Heat rushed to your cheeks, spreading like wildfire. “It’s just a kit,” you lied, your voice pitching higher than you intended. The words sounded weak even to your own ears, and the way Talia’s smirk widened told you she wasn’t buying it.
“Just a kit?” Freya echoed, incredulous. “You had it custom-stitched in two days when the online shop sold out. Travelled to Manchester to beg the kit manager in person. That’s not ‘just’ anything, love. That’s a declaration of war.”
Your mouth opened to protest, but no words came out. Instead, you shot a nervous glance towards the pitch, where Will was still turned away, his focus on Chris as they mock-tackled each other. The sight of him—carefree, grinning, utterly in his element—made your stomach swoop in a way that was equal parts exhilarating and terrifying.
Talia followed your gaze, her teasing expression softening just a fraction. “He’s going to love it,” she said, her voice sincere for once. “And when he scores today, he’ll point straight at this box. You’ll see.”
“He’d better,” Faith chimed in, her tone dry as she dug through her bag for Olive’s snack. The toddler was perched on her hip, gnawing on the ear of her stuffed bear, completely oblivious to the conversation. “Or I’m revoking his uncle privileges.”
A sudden cheer erupted from the crowd as the Allstars began dispersing to their positions. Your eyes snapped back to the pitch, where Will was now walking backwards towards the centre circle, his head tilted as he squinted up at the stands. Your breath hitched, your heart pounding in your chest. Could he see you? You froze, torn between waving like a prat and ducking behind Freya to hide.
But then Ethan called his name, tossing him a water bottle, and Will turned away, laughing as he fumbled the catch. The moment passed, and you exhaled sharply, unaware you’d been holding your breath.
“Heart attack avoided,” Talia teased, fanning you with a match programme she’d nicked from somewhere. Her grin was back, full force, and you rolled your eyes, though your cheeks were still burning.
“Give it time,” Freya said, her tone light but her eyes glinting with mischief. “The match hasn’t even started.”
You groaned, leaning back against the railing as the players took their positions. The tension in the air was palpable, the crowd’s energy building to a fever pitch. But even as the referee blew the whistle and the game began, your mind kept drifting back to the kit, to the way Will had laughed as he caught the water bottle, to the promise of what might come next.

The match hung on a knife-edge. 88th minute. 8-8. The Allstars surged forward, their attacks sharp and desperate, every pass and tackle charged with the kind of urgency that made your chest tighten. Your nails dug into the railing of the VIP box as you watched Will track back, his movements slower now, his legs heavy but still pushing. The Sidemen FC’s defence was in shambles—xQc stranded halfway up the pitch after a botched clearance, the goal gaping wide and vulnerable.
Your breath caught in your throat as George pounced.
The ball rocketed off his foot, a thunderous strike from the edge of the box, screaming towards the open net. The crowd rose as one, a collective gasp tearing through Wembley, the sound raw and primal. Your heart stopped. The world narrowed to that ball, arcing through the air.
Then Will moved.
He lunged, a full-stretch dive from inside the goal line, his body parallel to the grass as he hurled himself headfirst towards the ball. Time slowed—or maybe it was just your mind, struggling to process what you were seeing. The blur of the stadium lights, the deafening roar of the crowd, the sharp crack of his forehead connecting with the shot. The ball ricocheted skyward, spinning harmlessly out of play.
For a heartbeat, there was silence. Absolute, deafening silence.
Then chaos.
“UNBELIEVABLE! WILL LENNEY WITH A GOAL-LINE HEADER—ARE YOU KIDDING ME?!” the commentator bellowed.
You were on your feet before your brain could even process it. Your arms shot out wide, fingers splayed, as if you could somehow reach down and touch the chaos unfolding on the pitch. A scream tore from your throat, raw and unfiltered, joining the tidal wave of noise crashing around you. “YES! YES! YES!” Your voice cracked, but you didn’t care. The world had narrowed to one thing: Will.
Spinning on your heel, you nearly lost your balance, but you didn’t care. Your hands flew out, pointing wildly towards the pitch, your eyes wide and frantic as they locked onto the girls. “DID YOU SEE THAT?! DID YOU SEE HIM?!” Your voice was hoarse, barely audible over the roar of the crowd, but your expression said it all.
Freya was bent double, her laughter ringing out like a bell. She clutched her sides, tears streaming down her cheeks as she gasped for air. “We saw it, love! The whole stadium saw it!” Her words were punctuated by another peal of laughter, her shoulders shaking uncontrollably.
Talia’s hands were on you in an instant, gripping your shoulders with a force that made you stumble. She shook you like a ragdoll, her dark curls bouncing wildly as she screamed in your face, “HE’S MENTAL! ABSOLUTELY MENTAL!” Her eyes were wide, her grin manic, and for a moment, you thought she might actually shake you apart.
Faith stood a little apart, holding Olive in her arms. She just shook her head, her lips curving into a wry smile. “That man’s going to give you a heart attack one day,” she said, her voice dry but her eyes sparkling with amusement.
And then the jumbotron flickered.
There you were, frozen in time—arms outstretched, your #LENNEY 2 kit blazing across your shoulders, your face alight with a joy so pure it was almost blinding. The crowd’s roar shifted, morphing into a collective “AWWWW” as the screen split. On one side, Will lay sprawled on the pitch, his chest heaving, his face streaked with sweat and grass stains. On the other, you stood, your eyes glistening with pride, your smile so wide it hurt.
Will squinted up at the screen, his brow furrowing as he tried to make sense of what he was seeing. For a heartbeat, he just stared, his lips parting in surprise. Then, with a sudden burst of laughter, he slapped the grass, his shoulders shaking as he rolled onto his back. “OH MY DAYS!” he mouthed, his grin widening as he blew you an exaggerated kiss. The Allstars swarmed him, yanking him upright, their laughter mingling with the commentators’ cackles.
“Someone’s got a fan,” one of them teased, his voice dripping with amusement.
“Fan? That’s his girlfriend,” the other corrected, his tone smug. “Rumour has it she’s the reason he’s playing like a man possessed!”
“Possessed? Nah, mate—that’s love.”
Freya’s whistle cut through the noise, sharp and piercing, right in your ear. “If he dies tonight, at least he’ll die famous,” she said, her tone light but her eyes dancing with mischief.
“He’s already famous,” you shot back, your cheeks flaming as you tried to ignore the heat creeping up your neck.
“Not for football,” Talia snorted, her lips quirking into a smirk.
The pitch was alive with motion, players shifting into position like pieces on a chessboard, their movements sharp and deliberate. Will jogged backward, his boots digging into the turf with each step, his eyes darting up to the jumbotron every few seconds. The massive screen still flashed the split image—him, sprawled on the grass moments ago, and you, frozen in mid-celebration, your joy radiating even through the pixels. His grin, once wide and cocky, softened at the edges, the bravado melting into something quieter, more personal.
He tapped two fingers to his lips, a quick, almost unconscious gesture, before pressing them to his chest—right over the name on his kit. LENNEY. His eyes flicked to the VIP box, locking onto yours for a heartbeat. Yours, he mouthed, the word silent but unmistakable. Then he turned away, his focus snapping back to the game, but the ghost of that private smile lingered.
“Gross,” Talia said, her voice cutting through the moment like a knife. She swatted your arm, the sharp smack making you yelp and jerk away. “Save the eye sex for after we win,” she added, her tone dripping with mock disdain, though the corner of her mouth twitched like she was fighting a smile.
Freya, never one to miss an opportunity, let out an exaggerated gasp and fake-swooned into Faith’s shoulder. Her hand flew to her forehead, her fingers splayed dramatically as she tilted her head back. “He’s peacocking,” she declared, her voice lilting with theatrical flair. “Look at him. Absolute showman. Can’t help himself.”
Faith adjusted Olive on her hip, “He’s concussed,” Faith said flatly, though the grin tugging at her lips betrayed her. “That’s the only explanation for… whatever that was.” She gestured vaguely towards the pitch, where Will was now crouched slightly, his eyes scanning the field as the Allstars began to huddle.
But before he joined them, Will glanced up at the VIP box one last time. You couldn’t help yourself—you mimed blowing him a kiss, your fingers brushing your lips before flicking them towards him with a playful smirk. His reaction was immediate and absurd. He clutched his heart, staggering back as if you’d physically struck him, his face contorted in mock agony. The exaggerated drama of it made you laugh, the sound bubbling up uncontrollably despite the tension in the air.
Faith rolled her eyes, but the effort to keep her expression neutral was clearly a struggle. Her lips twitched, and she shook her head, muttering under her breath, “You two are disgusting.”
“Disgustingly sweet,” you shot back, your voice sing-song and teasing, though your grin was genuine. The tension of the shoot-out was building, the crowd’s energy shifting to a low, anticipatory hum. The whistle blew, sharp and piercing, snapping the stadium back into focus. Will straightened, his expression shifting from playful to intense in an instant.
The game was on.

The final whistle blew, and the Allstars erupted—a tangle of sweat-drenched hugs and victory chants. Will collapsed onto his knees, chest heaving, before Chris yanked him upright to join the team’s lap of honour. His eyes scanned the stands, lingering on the VIP box as he jogged, waving half-heartedly at the crowd.
“He’s coming up here, isn’t he?” Talia said, watching Will duck out of the team huddle and bolt for the tunnel.
“Twenty quid says he face-plants on the stairs,” Faith replied, shielding Olive’s eyes playfully.
You barely heard them. Your pulse thundered in your ears as the stadium doors swung open—
And there he was.
Will, still in his grass-stained kit, hair plastered to his forehead, cheeks flushed from the game. He skidded to a halt in front of you, breathless and grinning like he’d scored a last-minute winner. The VIP section fell silent, phones snapping photos as he vaulted the barrier.
“You,” he said, pointing a trembling, accusatory finger at your jersey, “are a menace.”
“Me?” You arched a brow, fighting a smile. “You’re the one who blew a kiss to 90,000 people.”
“Had to claim my territory,” he shot back, stepping closer until the scent of turf and citrus sweat wrapped around you. “Everyone’s gonna want a Lenney kit now.”
“Doubt it,” you said, tapping the #2 on your chest. “This one’s custom.”
Will’s gaze softened. He reached out, calloused fingers brushing the embroidered name on your shoulder. “You’re a proper ride-or-die, you know that?”
“Someone’s got to be,” you teased, though your voice wavered.
He huffed a laugh, then hooked a finger under the jersey’s collar, tugging you forward until your foreheads pressed together. The crowd’s cheers faded to static. “Wanna know why I kept looking at the screen?” he murmured.
“To admire your own cheekbones?”
“Nah.” His thumb swept over your jaw. “Every time I saw you in my name, I remembered… this is real. We’re real. Even when I’m out here acting like a prat for the cameras.”
Freya fake-gagged behind you. “Get a room!”
Will flipped her off without breaking eye contact. “Swap kits with me,” he said suddenly.
You blinked. “What?”
He didn’t wait for an explanation. Before you could even process what was happening, Will yanked at his own sweat-soaked Allstars kit, peeling it off in one swift motion. The crowd erupted, a deafening roar of cheers, whistles, and laughter as he stood there, bare-chested and unbothered, his grin wide and unapologetic.
For a moment, you froze, your brain short-circuiting. His skin glistened under the stadium lights, the faint sheen of sweat catching the glow as his chest rose and fell with each breath. The muscles in his shoulders and arms—usually hidden under layers of fabric—were on full display, defined and taut from the game. A faint trail of grass stains smudged his collarbone, and your eyes involuntarily dipped lower, catching the faint line of his happy trail, a subtle but undeniable detail that made your throat go dry.
“Your kit,” he repeated, snapping you out of your daze. He waved a hand in front of your face, his grin turning smug. “Earth to," he said your name "Give it. Now.”
“You’re mental,” you managed, your voice coming out higher than intended. Your cheeks burned as you tore your gaze away, but not before catching the way his smirk deepened, clearly pleased with himself.
“Oi, eyes up here,” he teased, tapping your chin with a finger. “Unless you’re enjoying the view?”
“Shut up,” you muttered, swatting his hand away, though the heat in your face betrayed you.
The crowd around the VIP box had started to notice the commotion, a few fans snapping photos on their phones, their laughter mingling with the noise of the stadium. Will, ever the showman, turned to them briefly, flexing with an exaggerated wink that sent another wave of cheers through the stands.
“You’re such a prat,” you groaned, though you couldn’t fight the smile tugging at your lips.
“And you’re stalling,” he shot back, shoving his crumpled match kit into your hands. The fabric was still warm from his body, and you could feel the faint dampness of sweat as you clutched it to your chest.
“You’re never living this down,” you groaned, reluctantly tugging your #LENNEY 2 over your head.
Will took the kit from you with a grin, holding it up like it was some kind of trophy. He shook it out, the fabric snapping in the air, before slipping it on properly. He adjusted the shoulders, smoothed the front, and tapped the #2 on his chest with a smirk.
“Looking good,” you said dryly, though your cheeks burned as you clutched his discarded kit to your chest, the fabric still warm from his body.
“Damn right,” he shot back, his grin widening as he raised an arm, flexing dramatically. The crowd around the VIP box had started to notice the commotion, a few fans snapping photos on their phones, their laughter mingling with the noise of the stadium.
“You’re such a show-off,” you muttered, though you couldn’t fight the smile tugging at your lips.
He spun back to you, his eyes bright and wild, the kind of look that made your stomach flip. “Yeah,” he said, quieter now, his voice barely audible over the chaos. “And I’m yours.”
The kiss wasn’t dramatic or cinematic—it wasn’t the kind of moment you’d see in a film, with sweeping music and perfectly timed lighting. It was messy, real, and inevitable. His lips met yours with a kind of urgency that spoke of relief, of triumph, of something deeper that had been simmering all day. His hands found your waist, pulling you closer, his grip firm but not possessive. The taste of salt lingered on his lips, a mix of sweat and the faint, sugary tang of Haribo from his half-time snack. It wasn’t glamorous, but it was him, and that was enough.
At first, it was almost hesitant, as if he was reminding himself that this was real, that you were here, that the chaos of the game was over and this moment was his to claim. But then his fingers tightened slightly on your waist, and the kiss deepened, his lips moving against yours with a quiet intensity that made your chest ache. His breath was warm and uneven, his forehead pressing against yours as if he needed the anchor, the connection, to ground him.
The surrounding chaos didn’t disappear, exactly—it just faded into the background, like static on a radio. The roar of the crowd, the flash of cameras, the distant shouts of his teammates—it all became a blur, muffled and distant. All you could focus on was the warmth of his body against yours, the steady thud of his heartbeat beneath your palm, the way your kit clung to his shoulders, still damp with sweat.
His hands slid up your back, pulling you even closer, and you could feel the tremble in his fingers, the faintest hint of exhaustion and adrenaline still coursing through him. His lips were soft but insistent, and when you let out a small, involuntary sigh, he smiled against your mouth, the curve of his lips breaking the kiss for just a moment before he leaned back in, slower this time, more deliberate.
The second kiss was different—less urgent, more lingering, as if he was savouring the moment, memorising the feel of you. His thumb brushed your cheek, calloused and gentle all at once, and you could feel the way his breath hitched when your fingers tangled in the damp hair at the nape of his neck. He tasted like victory and exhaustion, like the faint citrus of his energy drink and the salt of his sweat, and you couldn’t get enough.
Someone below shouted, “GET A ROOM, LADS!”—probably Ethan, judging by the tonebut Will didn’t pull away. He just laughed, the sound low and breathless, his lips still brushing yours as he murmured, “Ignore them.”
And you did. For a few more seconds, at least, the world narrowed to the two of you—his hands on your waist, your fingers in his hair, the way your kit clung to his shoulders like a second skin. It wasn’t perfect or polished, but it was real.
“You’re stuck with me now,” he murmured, his voice low and rough, barely audible over the noise.
“Was there ever any doubt?” you shot back, your voice trembling despite your attempt at levity.
He huffed a laugh, the sound vibrating through his chest and into yours. His thumb brushed your cheek, calloused and gentle all at once, and for a moment, it felt like the two of you were the only people in the stadium.
The moment didn’t last long—it couldn’t, not with the cameras still flashing and the crowd still roaring—but it didn’t need to.

Gang, let me know what you think of this! I don’t usually watch football, so I had to slowly go through the live stream to get a feel for the game. Eventually, I gave up and just watched the highlights and pick out the goal block scene.
I hope it’s okay.
I tried my best, I've went back and forth quite a bit, I’m definitely out of my depth here. Let me know if anything feels off or needs tweaking!

STYLE
P. Bueckers x Fem!Reader
Summary: You had constant flings with Paige. When you two split up for college you never talked to her again. You visit a friend’s basketball game and this gives Paige a second chance to walk back into your life.
Genre: Fluff/Angst
Warning(s): 2025 UCONN team is still together and everyone is kinda the same age but younger?? Idk. + Nika, not a warning but reader attends Aburn University and majors in aerospace engineering, inaccurate aerospace engineering terms/related things. Suggestive perhaps. Reader has some mad skills even if she's kinda short sorry! (Sorry that the height isn't general), Reader is literally league material /j kinda.
WC: 2.5k
Part 1 / Part 2 / Part 3

"I fucking hate you." You say as you take a couple strides and plant your lips firmly on hers.
That night you took the time to catch up with Paige. You weren't going to let her in easily but it was nice to have the closure. You both agreed to start again but take a different approach on your relationship.
No more hookups. No more flings.
"So... aerospace engineering huh?" Paige asked, sipping on a glass of water.
"Yeah, I just didn't really know what I wanted to do but I knew I wanted to either do something with teaching or engineering. Looking into the future, educators don't get paid very well so I decided to look into engineering." You said.
You two were sitting on your small hotel couch, sitting on opposite ends. The distance felt weird but both of you were too afraid to say anything.
"What made you pick aerospace engineering?"
"I literally looked at potential engineering majors and I thought aerospace was a cool term. That's kinda it."
"You certainly are something."
You smiled and looked down at your phone. A text from Nika came through.
did paige resp 2 u yet??
yes and no
wym
she didnt respond but she showed up at my room
oh did u 2 fight again
we kinda did the opposite
ok stop getting freaky bro
im not
i lit wanted 2 make sure u were ok and ur telling me u two fucked was it like a hate sex situation
we did nhot fuck
oh
You smiled and closed your phone. Paige's lips frowned, she wasn't sure why she was feeling a certain way. The way that made her stomach churn. She knew she had no right to be jealous, it was all too fast to return to the way you two were. Paige couldn't help it though, the way that she didn't want to wait to get back to the closeness you once had.
"What?" She asked nonchalantly.
"Nothing." You smiled and looked at her.
"Alright." She looked down.
"Uh were you planning on staying long? Cause if you were we can order take out. Or i can cook whatever you prefer."
She wanted to, wanted to catch up and whatever. But it felt like an intrusion, perhaps too early to stay so long. That's what the old Paige had the privilege to do.
"Nah, I should get going. Thanks though." She stood up.
"Oh, alright. I'll walk you out."
It was a short distance from the couch to the door and it hurt both of you.
"Thanks for coming."
"Thanks for hearing me out." Paige turned to look at you.
You two stood there kind of awkwardly before she leaned forward and pressed a soft kiss to your forehead. Your eyes fluttered shut for a moment, your shoulders dropping at the relaxing gesture.
"Goodnight, Auburn."
"You know my name you know, UCONN. But goodnight."
You both smiled and Paige opened the door. She walked out into the hallway and continued to the elevators. You shut the door behind her and let out a deep sigh.
Sure you missed her and you were super happy that you two could start over. But you were worried that even though you had agreed to go slow, you wouldn't be patient enough to get back to her.
You knew the old Paige was gone, she had grown and matured. She's changed and so have you.
You take your phone out of your pocket and order DoorDash. You were in the mood for something simple so you ordered your food and texted Nika.
u busy
no why paige is back btw
ik she left
really wouldnt have guessed
wtv
whats up what do u need
nothing js bored i cant do anything during the night here

You heart her message and hear a knock on the door. Opening it, a DoorDash delivery person stands in front of you. Swiftly, you take your food and give a tip before shutting the door.
You almost moan at the smell and rip it open, digging into your food. It was nice being somewhere away from home or school but you did miss both of those.
Bringing the food over, you turn on the tv and surf until you land on some crappy home reality show. Your phone pings again and its another text from Nika. This time it's a link to an article.
Paige Bueckers and Her Hotel Sweetheart
That was the headline. You scroll a bit skimming through the article. Apparently someone caught a picture of Paige coming into your hotel room and the person somehow knew it wasn't her own room.
Paige's contact photo popped up on the banner.
u saw the article? sry i thought no one was around
its ok idm
itll simmer down trust
ok
You didn't give her much to work with, you didn't really care if they thought you two were something. Because the important thing was that the people closest to you knew the truth.
Finishing your dinner you decide to get ready for bed. Putting on your favourite playlist and doing all your nightly activities before crawling into the semi-soft sheets.
You didn't really bother scrolling on your phone like you normally do when you're winding down. Too tired from today's activities, so you plug in your phone and turn off the nearby lamp.
The next morning, the early light attempted to peek through the blackout curtains. Naturally waking up you sit up and yawn. Sleep fatigue had caught you for a brief moment and you stood up carefully, padding over to open the curtain.
You smiled. The scenery was breath taking. The stunning grey pavement loaded with a bunch of colourful cars. The fucking parking lot was your view.
You grab your phone and open it seeing a few notifications but nothing important. Today you decided you were going to take up Nika's offer and join them at the facility.
im acc gonna join u
ok meet me there in half
ok
You got ready for the day, pulling your hair back into your signature ponytail with a tiny braid tied into it.
You didn't pack a bunch of athletic clothing but you did pack a pair of shorts and a thin tee. It wasn't the most flattering fit you've ever worn but you make do.
You called for an uber and waited out in the lobby until then.
A sleek black SUV pulled up and you got in the backseat. You knew never to sit in the front unless absolutely necessary. You treated the front seat as only being taken if you're close to the driver. Which you're not so you opt for the back.
"Hi." The driver says as they wait for you to buckle up.
"Hey, the UCONN training facility."
They nod and start driving.
You get there a bit before the time and see Nika just pulling up.
"Hey Nika."
"Hey, ready to go?" She asked, her hair tied back.
"Yeah, sorry I didn't really pack anything athletic."
"Oh well you can borrow an extra jersey if you'd like." She says in her own jersey. Usually they don't wear them if its not game day or practice but the flexibility of the jersey created a way for fast paced movement and lightness.
"Oh, if you have an extra one that would be good."
"Sure, come on." She scanned her ID and held the door for you.
"Thanks."
She led you to the court and to the locker room. It was empty, the faint humming of the building's machinery sending soft soundwaves to your ears.
"Uh, I'm sure there's one around here." Nika put her stuff down and searched until she grabbed a white piece of fabric.
"It might be a bit big but it'll do for now. We can even match!" She smiled.
"Don't all jerseys match?"
"I mean yeah but it'll be like you're officially on the team."
"I don't know if I deserve to wear it then, I'm not very good."
"Oh shush, I'm sure you're being very modest."
You slip off your shirt showing off your black Nike sports bra and slip the jersey on. It was light and flexible just how you thought it would be.
"You know, back in high school I had a crush on this one girl who had a number 5 jersey." You smirked a bit showing Nika how the jersey was literally double your size.
"Was it Paige?"
Your smile faltered.
"No actually."
Nika gave you a surprised look but she didn't buy it.
"Huh, didn't know you were capable of loving." She joked.
You lightly hit her. You were unaware of who's jersey you were wearing, the name shown off on the back. The blue lettering bold, UCONN 5 on the very front.
Nika smirked when she saw who's jersey she had fished out. She opted to not say anything and led you to the court. No one had arrived yet and Nika said it was just cause she wanted to have some fun with you before the others did.
"Alright you know how to properly use a basketball right?" She said tossing you one.
"Yeah, P taught me."
"Oh, we're back to calling her P, huh?" Nika smiled.
"Shut up. Paige taught me."
You dribbled a bit before bending a bit, feeling the rhythm of the ball. Tossing the ball towards the net, your wrist bent for an accurate follow through, the ball goes into the net with a slight whoosh. You made a basket from the free throw line.
"Damn, usually people who don't play don't really get a basket on their first go."
"This isn't my first time playing, thought P said that."
"I meant in a while."
You smiled and passed her the ball. She made an easy basket again from the free throw line. You two played a bit with the ball until the doors open and a few of Nika's team comes in, in their jerseys.
"Nika, hey!" Azzi calls.
You both greet the girls and Kaitlyn smirks. Her eyes crinkle at the corner.
"You look official in that jersey."
"Nika lent it for today."
"You sure it was Nika?" She hinted looking at the back lettering.
You give her a confused look and Nika ushers them into the locker room.
"What was that about?" You asked making another basket.
"Dunno." She smiled.
"You're a terrible liar."
"Just, you'll see." She catches the ball from you.
The girls come out and you all start playing a bit of actual basketball, they went easy on you and you appreciate it. They took this time to work on actual casual fun instead of perfecting every little mistake and pushing themselves to be perfect.
Finally, a 6'0 familiar girl turns up.
"Sorry I'm late." She says, not looking up from her phone.
"There she is!" KK runs over and tackles Paige.
You laugh at the two before looking over at Nika. She's giving you a knowing look and you shake your head. It wasn't awkward that she was here, no. You were actually kind of happy. You missed being around Paige and playing basketball with her like the old days.
KK eventually got off Paige and she looked at her team. Her eyes land on your figure, your back was turned to her but she could spot you in a crowd if she had to.
You got that James Dean daydream look in your eye.
Your figure had caught her off guard sure, but ironically the guard had caught something bigger. The large BUECKERS in blue had stood out the most. Where had you gotten her jersey?
"You're staring." Sarah said nonchalantly.
Paige turned to her. "Where'd she get that?"
"Nika said she fished it out and lent it to her for the day. You got a problem with it?" She smiled, knowingly.
"Uh, no." Paige mumbled.
She watched as you talked, your lips moving as every syllable escaped from your mouth.
And I got that red lip classic thing that you like.
Finally, you noticed her and walked up to her.
"Hey P."
She smiled at the nickname. Sure her friends, family called her the simple name but it was oddly different when you said it. It was like a secret only you two had but unfortunately it was pretty public.
"Hey, Auburn."
"Are you just going to call me that from now on? I have a name."
"Your university is fun to say what about it?"
"It's like you're allergic to using my name." You joke.
"I'm not, it's just more fun."
"Okay, I'll use your name to show you it's not scary to use someone's name."
"Alright."
"Paige Bueckers."
"Auburn."
You shook your head and hit her shoulder.
"Lovebirds, we have a game." Ice called.
You turn to look at her and smile. Looking down you avoided Paige so she couldn't see the blush that painted your cheeks.
"Your jersey looks good." She said promptly.
"Thanks, Nika lent it to me, and look! It's your old high school number." You smiled.
You remembered. Paige had thought it was sweet you still remembered her number.
"Yeah, carried it to college too."
You pause.
"Huh?"
"The 5? It's still my number."
And when we go crashing down, we come back every time.
Your words get caught in your throat. You spin around to try and get a look at the name at the back and sure enough you catch the last few letters of Paige's last name. You look up and see Nika beaming at you.
You send her a glare her way and silently curse her out.
"I am so sorry. I can take it off if it's yours. I didn't know Nika gave me your jersey."
"It's alright, I already have mine on and plus it looks better on you anyways." She smiles and you smile back.
It takes you back to the days where you wore her jersey for high school matches and wore her apparel casually around the school. Everyone knew you two were basically best friends who were in denial but no one really said anything.
"Guys, come on." Kaitlyn whined.
You shake your head and head back onto the court. Paige headed into the locker room for a brief moment and then joined your guys' game. Her position filled, doing what she did best.
You had a lot of fun and especially had the most fun with Paige. Unbeknownst to you and the girls, the school's media team had come in and snapped a few shots of the team, you being in the shots as well.
You wouldn't have known it then but the amount of headlines and speculations that would stir from a few pictures would cause your whole world to flip.
'Cause we never go out of style. We never go out of style.

Omg lol’ed at adam being the unwilling third-wheel in the middle of jinwoo and tp!reader’s public display of “trust” 😭. No it’s just pure satisfying to see jinwoo trust and need someone presence that much. Tp!reader is his rock frfrfr 🥺 and tbh this only makes me sad to see how “alone” canon jinwoo is, so much so that he can’t really open himself up to people he cares about problems he has to deal with (and yes, even in sl ragnarok. Like even suho called him a “deadbeat dad” due to his communication issue 😭). Anyway, tp!jinwoo is so cute when he relies on tp!reader and OMG pointing and laughing at his cringe fail moment at the end. (still love you pookie 🥰)
Okay, but i kinda scratched my head at this part bc how come ashborn didn’t take notice of tp!reader sooner 🤔? I mean, you could say that she wasn’t strong enough to display her “absolute being” power to be under his radar before but even his fellow rulers can still sense her back then? Idk I don’t remember much details about this scene in canon so apologies if I misunderstood smth.

Omg, I just saw a few panels of the new chapter of SL: Ragnarok manhwa (chap. 41?) on Twitter/X, and after reading this review, I suddenly had a vision of this scene:
Warning: Unedited, subject to change, future convo(?)
_____
It was a quiet night, the kind where even the wind outside seemed to hush itself, allowing the world to bask in the rare tranquility. The soft glow of the living room lamp bathed the space in a warm ambiance, flickering shadows dancing with lights on the walls. Nestled together on the couch, you and Jinwoo enjoyed this rare moment of stillness. One of his arms draped around you, his warmth seeping into your skin as he pulled you closer. You leaned against his chest, your body naturally molding into his as if you had always belonged there.
In your arms, Suho stirred softly, his tiny fingers twitching every now and then. The slow rise and fall of his tiny chest mesmerizing to watch. He was still so small, only a few weeks old, yet with each passing day—day by day, feature by feature, he was becoming a mirror of the man who held you now.
But . . .
You traced the outline of Suho’s face with your eyes, the soft curve of his cheeks, the delicate lashes fluttering against his skin as he ‘fought’ against sleep.
—He also reminded you so much of your best friend.
The sight made your heart clench with a feeling too vast to name.
Ah, I should check on her again soon. Her tournament is coming up in a few weeks. I hope she isn’t pushing herself too much, else she’ll run to her death—Eh, who am I kidding.
You really, really wanted to laugh at the inside joke, yet you couldn’t bring yourself to. Your attempt at distracting your mind elsewhere just didn’t seem to work this time.
“...Jinwoo?” your voice was soft, barely above a whisper.
But Jinwoo always heard you.
“Hmm?” His hum reverberated in his chest, his chin resting lightly on your shoulder.
You hesitated. Your tongue darted out to wet your lips as you gathered the words that had been weighing on you for days now.
“Could you,” You inhaled deeply, as if steadying yourself. “…spend more time with our son?”
Jinwoo stilled for a fraction of a second, his hold around you subtly tightened, before his thumb resumed its slow, comforting strokes along your upper arm.
He knew that tone—the slight wavering beneath the surface, the weight in your words.
“What is it, my love?” His voice was low, gentle, like he was trying to coax you into opening up—technically, he was. “What’s bothering my wife this time?”
Damn him, when did he get so—!
You bit your lip before pressing on. “I’m not saying you’re spending too much time at work. In fact, if you were, you know I wouldn’t have taken any of it and dragged you home myself.”
A breath of laughter left him at that, and he pressed a lingering kiss to your temple. The warmth of it settled in your chest. It was such a simple thing, yet it unraveled the tension in your shoulders, bringing the ghost of a smile to your lips, grounding you despite the storm brewing in your thoughts.
It was his way of saying: We’re in this together. Always.
Your fingers idly stroked Suho’s back, feeling the slow, rhythmic breaths of your baby boy, his warmth anchoring you also.
“I’m just… worried,” The confession came out softer than you intended. You traced your thumb gently along Suho’s arm, watching how peaceful he looked, memorizing the smallness of him, the weight of him in your arms.
Committing every little feature of his to memory.
As if…
As if this moment was fleeting. As if this moment might slip through your fingers like sand, lost to the relentless tide of fate.
Jinwoo already knew where this was going.
“This is about the future you knew, isn’t it?”
Your grip on Suho tightened slightly. “Jinwoo, the fact that Suho is starting to look exactly as I remember him, in my memories of back then, just confirms it.”
The long road he’ll take. The hardships he’ll face.
A deep-seated fear started gnawing at you.
“The story hasn’t ended yet. His future will be the same—”
“Can be the same.”
Jinwoo’s voice was quiet but firm, cutting through the air like a blade. And yet, you still feel the gentleness that never faded away.
His fingers continued tracing slow, soothing circles on your arm. “You and I are proof that there’s still room for change.”
You opened your mouth, but the words caught in your throat. You let out a slow breath instead, some of the tension bleeding from your shoulders at the conviction in his tone.
How can he do that? ‘Till now, you still wondered, how could he ease the storm in your heart with just a few words.
Sometimes, you still couldn’t believe he was yours.
And that you were his.
“…Do you want him to be like you?” The question slipped past your lips before you could stop it.
“No.”
The answer was immediate. Firm. Yet, in contrast, the way his fingers brushed over Suho’s soft cheek was achingly gentle. The baby stirred slightly in response, his tiny hand latching onto Jinwoo’s retreating fingers. His little fingers barely curled around two of Jinwoo’s.
Jinwoo stilled, his expression unreadable.
“My path led me to you. I will never regret taking it.” His voice was hushed, reverent, as if speaking anything louder would shatter the fragile serenity of the moment.
Your heart squeezed at his words.
His fingers remained where they were until Suho’s grip finally loosened in sleep. Only then did Jinwoo carefully guide his tiny hand back against his blanket, ensuring he was comfortable. You adjusted the fabric around your son’s sleeping form, both of you moving in quiet tandem.
“But I want our son to find his own path. To choose for himself.”
Your chest ached at the tenderness in his voice, at the raw sincerity in his words.
You shifted slightly, careful not to jostle the sleeping baby in your arms as you leaned in, pressing a soft kiss to your beloved husband’s cheek.
“Then spend time with him.” Your voice was quiet but left no room for argument. “More time.”
You pulled back just enough to meet his eyes.
Jinwoo’s expression softened, but his eyes matched your unwavering ones.
“Don’t let him feel that the only way he can be close to you…” You choose your words carefully before continuing, “—is for him to follow in your exact footsteps.”
Promise me.
Jinwoo said nothing at first. He merely held your gaze. Then, his hand cupped the side of your face, guiding you into a slow, lingering kiss.
It was warm. Familiar. Melting. A promise sealed between your lips.
When he finally pulled away, he pressed his forehead to yours, breathing you in as if grounding himself in you.
_____
“Anything for my loves.”
Honestly, this just makes me more determined to continue writing Trial Player AU. To write a story of an AU where someone that can stand by Jinwoo in everything exist, who can really match him in power included, so that he won’t be “alone.” No hate for canon Cha Hae-in tho—she completes him, just differently than what I envisioned.
I’m still going for that “Cha Hae-in as our bestie”-agenda! I don’t plan on discarding her in Trial Player AU. I’m definitely going to give her more screen time, going to add my own version of developments, but hopefully, it will turn out good enough to still be enjoyed. ❤️
Trial Player AU - Chapter 22: Trial Player!Reader’s First Encounter With The Former Ruler
For clarification: the Rulers came to know of TP!Reader only after she came into proximity with their vessels.
Thomas Andre had a ‘delayed’ response—only after he locked eyes with her did the Ruler power in him react (Chapter 15). A similar situation happened with Go Gunhee, who had been watching Jinwoo walk away after their conversation. When Jinwoo approached TP!Reader in the distance, only then did the Chairman notice her, and the Ruler power in him reacted the same way as Thomas’ had (Chapter 21).
The pattern was there: The Rulers were supposedly alerted only after their vessels truly became aware of TP!Reader, which the vessels did not at first. And what the vessels feel after was always the urge to submit first (mostly due to the Rulers sensing a part of their Creator), then came the (motherly) warmth. At least, this is the pattern up to chapter 21. More on this will be revealed in the story, but feel free to take a guess or make your own theories. 🤗
Then why did Ashborn not take notice of TP!Reader sooner when Jinwoo already spent so much time close to her?
Let’s backtrack to canon info for this.
(As usual, feel free to correct me if I’m wrong.) Why didn’t the Monarchs and the Rulers instantly know of Ashborn’s plans for Jinwoo? That is because The Architect, or Kandiaru, designed the System to be used only by Ashborn and his human vessel.
If we go by this logic, then the System is the main bridge for Kandiaru and Ashborn to keep track of Jinwoo. If, say, another being became aware of that fact, and that same being wanted something in Jinwoo’s vicinity to not be noticed by the two, wouldn’t hijacking that main bridge be the ideal plan?
There were many instances where the System acted differently around TP!Reader (and her butterflies, as more recently shown in Chapter 23), at least in comparison to how it usually was with Jinwoo. 🤔
All I can say for now is that this is the first clue as to why Ashborn (and the others) didn’t notice TP!Reader’s existence sooner/instantly, and so far, they have only been able to take notice of her under certain conditions. In Ashborn’s case, it was because TP!Reader reached out to Norma Selner’s mind when she was seeing something inside Jinwoo’s soul. Thus, TP!Reader’s special space came into contact with the ‘darkness’ Norma saw, where Ashborn could finally sense and become aware of her unique presence for the first time.

HIS HEART
• CLARK KENT x MALE!READER
SUMMARY — The night after Clark's proposal, he's filled with joy and excitement, feeling on top of the world as he basks in your love and the promise of your future together. Proud and grateful, he's eager to share the news with your closest friends and family, wanting them to witness the love that has profoundly changed his life.
WARNING! 18+ MDNI.Suggestive Langauge. Swearing. Violence.
WORDS! 8.6k
AUTHOR'S NOTE! Firstly, Happy New Years, dreamers! Welcome to 2025, let’s have an amazing year. Secondly, this is a sequel to HIS HOME—I couldn’t resist it, I hope you enjoy 😉✨
By morning, the soft golden light of dawn spilled through the half-drawn curtains, casting a tranquil glow across the room. The apartment was quiet, the only sounds the faint hum of the city waking up outside and the rhythmic, steady breaths of Clark as he slept beside Y/N. Everything about the moment felt perfect—still, warm, and filled with the unshakable weight of love.
Y/N stirred first, his eyes fluttering open slowly as he became aware of the comforting press of Clark's chest against his back. One of Clark's arms was draped securely around his waist, holding him close, while the other rested lightly over his hand. The touch of Clark's fingers brushing against the cool metal of the ring now circling Y/N's finger sent a familiar rush of warmth through him.
The ring.
Y/N turned his head slightly, glancing at the simple, elegant band that glinted softly in the morning light. The memories of the night before came rushing back: the flickering candles, Clark's trembling hands, the way his voice had trembled with emotion when he asked the question that changed everything. A breathless smile curved Y/N's lips as he traced the ring's edges with his thumb, savoring the reminder of the love that had brought them to this moment.
He lay there for a moment longer, basking in the glow of last night's joy, until he felt Clark shift behind him. Clark's arm tightened instinctively around his waist, pulling him closer. Y/N smiled as he felt the warmth of Clark's breath tickling the back of his neck, and soon after, Clark stirred fully awake. His eyes blinked open, hazy with sleep, before they settled on Y/N, and his lips curved into a tender, lazy smile.
"Good morning," Clark murmured, his voice low and gravelly from sleep.
Y/N turned in Clark's arms, his heart skipping at the unguarded softness in Clark's expression. "Good morning," he whispered back, his fingers reaching up to brush a lock of dark, tousled hair from Clark's forehead.
Clark's gaze dropped to Y/N's hand, and his smile deepened when he saw the ring catching the sunlight. Without hesitation, he took Y/N's hand, bringing it to his lips to press a lingering kiss to his knuckles. His blue eyes sparkled with love as they met Y/N's.
"My fiancé," Clark said softly, the words carrying both reverence and joy, as if testing the way they sounded. His thumb brushed gently over the ring, his touch sending a familiar warmth through Y/N's skin. "My fiancé," he repeated, his voice softer, savoring the title like it was the sweetest thing he'd ever spoken.
The words sent a rush of happiness through Y/N, who couldn't help but smile. "Your fiancé," he echoed, the sound of it thrilling and new, the meaning settling deeper into his heart.
Clark's grin turned playful now, boyish and full of pure, unrestrained joy. "That's right. My fiancé." His tone was teasing, but his eyes were soft, filled with so much love it was overwhelming. "I don't think I'm ever going to get tired of calling you that."
Y/N chuckled, the sound light and full of affection. "Good," he replied, his cheeks warm, "because I'm never going to get tired of hearing it."
Clark didn't hesitate as he leaned in, capturing Y/N's lips in a kiss that was slow and lingering, each second steeped in the promises they had already made and the countless ones they would keep in the future. The world outside could wait; this moment was theirs alone.
When the kiss broke, Clark's forehead rested gently against Y/N's, and his voice dropped to a whisper. "I love you, my fiancé."
"I love you too," Y/N replied, his voice soft but sure. The way Clark held him—the way he looked at him—made Y/N feel like the only person in the world.
They stayed wrapped in each other's arms, the morning stretching around them like an unbroken promise. Clark's hand slid along Y/N's thigh, grasping it firmly and wrapping it around his waist, pulling them impossibly closer. His lips found the soft curve of Y/N's neck, brushing slow, deliberate kisses against his skin.
The faint green glow of the clock on the bedside table caught Clark's eye, and for a fleeting second, he registered the time: 7:39 AM. They had work soon, and the world would eventually come knocking. But right now, Clark didn't care.
His hands moved with gentle but deliberate strength as he shifted Y/N onto his back, their bodies pressing together in the morning light. The room filled with nothing but the quiet sounds of their breathing and the faint rustle of sheets. Clark's lips never left Y/N's neck, trailing slow, deliberate kisses along his jawline and down to the sensitive spot just beneath his ear. Each touch of his lips sent a shiver down Y/N's spine, his fingers instinctively gripping at Clark's strong shoulders.
As Y/N's chest rose and fell beneath him, Clark's hands slid lower, caressing every inch of skin with an intimacy born from years of love and trust. His fingers found the waistband of Y/N's boxers, his movements patient but full of intent. Y/N let out a soft gasp as Clark slipped them off with ease, the fabric sliding away to reveal him fully. Y/N's dick sprang free, his body already reacting to Clark's touch, his breaths coming a little quicker as Clark's gaze roamed over him with a mix of adoration and desire.
Clark's lips continued their journey, pressing soft kisses to Y/N's collarbone before trailing back up to his neck. His voice dropped to a husky whisper, warm and intimate as he spoke. "You're so beautiful," he murmured, his words barely above a breath but filled with raw emotion. "I love every part of you."
Y/N felt his cheeks flush at Clark's words, his heart pounding as the deep sincerity in Clark's voice washed over him. "Are you... trying to go for round—what?— Five?" he asked, his tone teasing but his voice still trembling slightly from Clark's overwhelming presence.
Clark pulled back just enough to meet Y/N's gaze, his deep blue eyes filled with a mix of tenderness and longing. A playful smile tugged at his lips as he brushed a lock of hair from Y/N's forehead. "Of course," he replied softly, his hand returning to Y/N's thigh, gripping it firmly. "I want to please you... every day, every moment of the day."
The intensity of Clark's words sent a spark of heat through Y/N, and his hands reached up to cup Clark's face, pulling him into a slow, passionate kiss. The connection between them was electric, their breaths mingling as Clark's hands explored Y/N's body with care, reverence, and unyielding devotion.
The warmth between them was palpable, their bodies pressed close together. Clark's hands caressed Y/N's sides, his touch firm yet tender, grounding them in the intimacy of the moment.
Without breaking their gaze, Clark leaned back just enough to reach for the waistband of his own boxers. The fabric slipped down effortlessly, revealing him fully, his dick springing free and already glistening with arousal. The raw need in his expression was softened only by the undeniable love that radiated from his every touch and movement.
Y/N's breath hitched at the sight, his own arousal stirring further as he felt Clark's body move against his. The vulnerability, the strength, and the overwhelming passion in Clark's actions sent a shiver through Y/N's entire body. Clark's hands returned to Y/N's thighs, gripping them gently as he settled closer, their skin now completely bare against each other.
Clark's voice dropped to a husky whisper, rich with affection and desire. "You're everything to me," he murmured, his lips finding the curve of Y/N's neck once again, pressing slow, heated kisses along his sensitive skin. "I want to make you feel how much I love you... in every way."
His words sent a wave of warmth through Y/N, his hands reaching up to thread through Clark's dark hair, pulling him closer. Their breaths mingled, the heat between them building as Clark's movements became more deliberate, his lips exploring Y/N's neck, collarbone, and chest with reverence.
Time seemed to stand still as the world outside faded, leaving only the two of them wrapped in the intensity of their connection. Every touch, every kiss, every whispered word carried the weight of their love—a bond that transcended words and was expressed in every deliberate, passionate motion.
Clark's devotion was undeniable, and Y/N could feel it in every moment, every inch of closeness they shared, as their love deepened and unfolded in the quiet sanctuary of their morning together.
By 8:46 AM, Clark and Y/N began their familiar routine, moving around the apartment to get ready for the day ahead. The remnants of the night and early morning lingered in the air—a soft glow of love and intimacy that neither could quite shake.
Y/N stood at the bathroom sink, toothbrush in hand, glancing in the mirror at Clark, who was leaning casually against the doorframe, his eyes following Y/N's every move. His hair was still slightly tousled, his shirt unbuttoned, revealing glimpses of his toned chest. There was a playful smirk on his lips, one that Y/N recognized all too well.
"You're staring," Y/N said, his voice muffled slightly as he brushed his teeth, his reflection meeting Clark's in the mirror.
Clark grinned, unrepentant. "Can you blame me?" he teased, stepping forward and wrapping his arms around Y/N's waist from behind. His chin rested on Y/N's shoulder, and he placed a soft kiss on the curve of his neck. "I'm just admiring my fiancé."
Y/N rolled his eyes, though the smile tugging at his lips betrayed his feigned annoyance. "We're already running late," he said, spitting out the toothpaste and rinsing his mouth.
Clark hummed in response, clearly unconcerned about the time. His hands slid down to Y/N's hips, pulling him closer, his body pressing firmly against Y/N's back. "What's a few extra minutes?" he murmured, his lips brushing Y/N's ear. "I don't think I've had enough of you yet."
Y/N turned around, leaning back slightly against the sink as he raised an eyebrow at Clark. "Didn't we just—?"
"Not enough," Clark interrupted, his tone playful but his eyes warm and full of affection. He leaned down, capturing Y/N's lips in a kiss that was slow and lingering, his hands roaming up and down Y/N's sides.
Y/N pulled back with a soft laugh, placing his palms against Clark's chest. "Clark, we really need to get ready."
Clark sighed dramatically, his hands reluctantly letting go as he stepped back, though the mischievous glint in his eye remained. "Fine," he said, running a hand through his hair. "But I can't make any promises about keeping my hands to myself later."
Y/N shook his head, his cheeks flushing slightly, but he couldn't stop the smile spreading across his face. "You're annoying."
"And you love it," Clark shot back, grabbing his tie from the counter and tossing it around his neck as he moved to the bedroom.
As Y/N adjusted his tie in the mirror, Clark stepped up behind him, resting his hands lightly on Y/N's shoulders. Their reflections in the mirror showed a couple glowing with happiness, their eyes meeting with shared excitement. Clark leaned in, pressing a soft kiss to Y/N's temple before meeting his gaze in the mirror.
"I've been thinking," Clark began, his voice warm and casual, though his eyes sparkled with a hint of nervous energy.
Y/N raised an eyebrow, turning slightly to face him. "Oh? Should I be worried?"
Clark chuckled, his hands sliding down to rest on Y/N's hips. "Not at all," he replied, leaning in for a quick kiss before pulling back. "I just... I was wondering how you'd feel about having my parents and some of our friends over for dinner this weekend."
Y/N's expression softened, his curiosity piqued. "Dinner?"
Clark nodded, his lips curving into a boyish smile. "Yeah, dinner. I think it's time we share the news." He gently took Y/N's hand, brushing his thumb over the ring that glinted in the morning sunlight. "I want everyone to know about us, about our engagement. About how much you mean to me."
Y/N's breath caught for a moment, the sincerity in Clark's voice striking a chord deep within him. "Clark..." he murmured, his voice trailing off as a warm smile spread across his face.
Clark's grip on Y/N's hand tightened slightly, his gaze steady and filled with love. "I want to tell my parents, my friends... everyone who matters to us. I want them to celebrate this with us, to see what we've built together. And to see how lucky I am to call you mine."
Y/N felt his cheeks flush, a mix of pride and affection swelling in his chest. "You sure your mom's not going to cry the second we tell her?" he teased lightly, though his voice carried a hint of his own emotion.
Clark laughed, the sound warm and genuine. "Oh, she's definitely going to cry. And my dad's probably going to give one of his heartfelt speeches." He paused, his grin softening into something more intimate. "But that's what makes it special, right? Sharing this moment with the people who love us."
Y/N nodded, his hand tightening around Clark's. "I think it's a great idea," he said softly. "Let's do it."
Clark's smile widened, his relief and excitement evident. He leaned down, capturing Y/N's lips in a quick but tender kiss. "You're amazing," he murmured against Y/N's lips.
"You're not so bad yourself," Y/N replied with a chuckle, resting his forehead against Clark's.
As they continued their morning routine, the thought of sharing their engagement with family and friends added a new layer of excitement to their day. The idea of their loved ones gathered around the table, celebrating their love and future together, filled both of them with warmth and anticipation.
Clark's hand lingered on Y/N's as they left the apartment, his mind already buzzing with plans for the dinner that would mark the next chapter in their lives.
The hum of activity surrounded Y/N as he worked diligently at his desk, the tapping of his keyboard punctuating the soft murmur of office chatter. He was deep in thought, reviewing a LexCorp report that demanded his full attention, when his phone buzzed on the edge of his desk. Without looking, he reached for it, his focus still on the screen in front of him.
"Hey, love," he answered casually, balancing the phone between his ear and shoulder as he continued typing. The familiarity of the caller didn't require a second glance.
On the other end, Clark's voice came through, warm and steady, though there was a faint undercurrent of strain—something Y/N didn't immediately notice in his focus. "Hey, baby. How's work going?"
Y/N smiled faintly, leaning back in his chair as he gave his full attention to the call. "Busy, as usual. You caught me in the middle of a deadline, but I always have time for you. What's up?"
In the background, Y/N could hear faint noises—odd whooshes, distant crashes, and what might have been a roar. He frowned, his curiosity piqued. "Where are you? It sounds like you're outside."
Clark chuckled softly, though there was a hint of exertion in his voice now. "You could say that. I'm with the League right now... handling a situation."
That was when Y/N picked up on the subtle pauses in Clark's words, the heavy breaths between sentences. He straightened in his chair, concern flickering in his expression. "Clark. What kind of 'situation' are we talking about here?"
There was a loud crash on Clark's end of the line, followed by a muffled shout from someone Y/N recognized as Wonder Woman. "It's nothing to worry about, I promise," Clark said quickly, though Y/N could practically hear him dodging something. "Just a... mystical creature trying to tear apart downtown. But it's under control. I'm fine."
Y/N pinched the bridge of his nose, exhaling slowly. "You're calling me... in the middle of a battle? Clark, what are you doing?"
"I'm multitasking," Clark replied lightly, though the strain in his voice was becoming harder to mask. Another roar echoed in the background, and there was a faint crackle of what sounded like magical energy. "Besides, it's important."
Y/N's brow furrowed, equal parts exasperated and amused. "Oh? And what's so important that you're calling me while fighting a mystical creature with the Justice League?"
"Well..." Clark hesitated for just a moment before continuing. "I was thinking about the dinner party this weekend. You know, the one where we're announcing our engagement?"
Y/N blinked, utterly thrown by the sudden change in topic. "Yes, I remember. What about it?"
Clark let out a small grunt of effort, likely mid-action, before responding. "I wanted to know what you're planning to cook. I thought maybe we could do something special. Your lasagna, maybe? Or those little appetizers your mom taught you to make?"
Y/N stared at his phone, momentarily speechless. "Clark. You're calling me right now, while fighting God-knows-what, to talk about dinner plans?"
"I mean, it's an important dinner!" Clark protested, his tone entirely earnest despite the chaos clearly unfolding around him. "I want everything to be perfect for us, for our parents, and for our friends."
Y/N rubbed his temples, shaking his head even as a smile tugged at the corners of his mouth. "Clark, you're ridiculous, you know that?"
"I try," Clark replied, and Y/N could practically hear the grin in his voice. A loud roar interrupted their conversation, and Clark's voice came back slightly muffled. "Diana! On your left!"
Y/N groaned softly. "You're actually fighting something right now, aren't you?"
"Yes, but don't worry—" Clark started, his voice calm despite the clear pandemonium in the background. "Bruce is handling strategy, and Barry's keeping civilians out of harm's way. I'm just... improvising. Like I said, it's under control."
Y/N sighed, shaking his head but unable to suppress a laugh. "Alright, fine. Yes, I can make lasagna. And maybe the appetizers, if you promise me one thing."
"Anything," Clark replied quickly, his voice full of affection even as there was a distant thud on his end.
"Come back in one piece," Y/N said firmly, his tone softening with concern.
Clark's voice turned warm and reassuring. "Always," he promised. "I love you. I'll call you once this is wrapped up."
"Love you too, Clark," Y/N replied before hanging up, shaking his head as he set the phone back on his desk. His heart was full, despite the absurdity of the moment.
And as he returned to his work, he couldn't help but smile, knowing that even in the middle of chaos, Clark's thoughts were always with him.
The creature let out a deafening roar before crumbling to the ground in a heap of glowing embers, its mystical energy finally dissipating into the night air. Clark floated a few feet above the ground, his cape billowing in the breeze as he scanned the area to ensure the threat was completely neutralized. Around him, the members of the Justice League began to regroup, their faces showing a mixture of relief and pride at another mission accomplished.
"That was... something," Barry said, leaning against a lamppost, still catching his breath. "What even was that thing?"
Diana sheathed her sword with practiced ease, her expression calm but resolute. "A creature of chaos magic," she replied. "Not easily vanquished, but we handled it well."
Arthur kicked a piece of glowing debris, his trident resting against his shoulder. "Handled it? More like dragged it down kicking and screaming. That thing was stubborn."
Hal smirked, his Green Lantern ring dimming as he folded his arms. "Stubborn or not, we still showed it who's boss."
Clark landed softly, his boots touching the cracked pavement as he adjusted his posture. His face was calm but his thoughts were elsewhere. As the team exchanged light banter and assessed the scene, he glanced at Bruce, who stood a little apart from the group, his cape pooling around him like a shadow. Bruce was already typing something into a small device on his gauntlet, clearly preparing to leave.
Clark cleared his throat, drawing everyone's attention. "Good work tonight, everyone," he said, his voice steady and authoritative. "I know it wasn't easy, but the city's safe, thanks to all of you."
"Team effort," Diana replied with a small smile, brushing a strand of hair from her face.
"Team effort that I'm starving from," Barry added, rubbing his stomach. "Do we have a Justice League catering service yet?"
Clark chuckled softly, his usual warmth returning to his voice. "No catering service, but I do have something to ask all of you."
The group turned toward him with varying degrees of curiosity. Even Bruce paused his work and glanced up.
Clark hesitated for just a second, then smiled. "Y/N and I are hosting a dinner party this weekend. We wanted to bring everyone together—not for a mission or a battle, but just to share a meal and spend time with the people we care about."
Barry's face lit up immediately. "Dinner party? I'm in. Do you need me to bring anything? Because I'm bringing something."
Hal raised an eyebrow, smirking. "Big Blue hosting a dinner party? This I've got to see. Count me in."
Arthur chuckled, leaning on his trident. "As long as there's plenty of booze, I'm there."
Diana's smile softened, her gaze warm. "It's a wonderful idea, Kal. I'd be honored to join you."
Clark nodded, his expression brightening as he looked around at the team. "Great. It's nothing fancy—just some good food and company. Y/N and I thought it would be nice to spend some time with all of you outside of League missions."
His gaze shifted toward Bruce, who had remained silent throughout the conversation. Clark took a step closer to him, his voice dropping slightly. "What about you, Bruce? Will you join us?"
Bruce's eyes narrowed slightly, his usual unreadable expression firmly in place. "You're hosting a dinner party," he said, his tone flat. "And you want me there?"
"Yes," Clark replied, his voice unwavering. "You're part of the team. And more than that, you're my friend."
Bruce's gaze flicked toward the others, who were all watching the exchange with varying levels of interest and amusement. He exhaled softly, his arms crossing over his chest. "Dinner parties aren't exactly my thing."
Clark smiled knowingly. "I didn't think they were, but it wouldn't be the same without you."
For a moment, Bruce said nothing, his sharp eyes studying Clark. Finally, he nodded, albeit reluctantly. "Fine. But don't expect me to be social."
Clark's grin widened. "I wouldn't dream of it."
Barry leaned toward Hal, whispering loudly enough for everyone to hear, "Did we just witness Batman RSVP to a dinner party?"
Hal snickered. "I think we did."
"Save it," Bruce said flatly, though the faintest hint of a smirk tugged at the corner of his mouth.
With the invitations extended and the team dispersing to return to their respective cities, Clark felt a sense of satisfaction. The hardest part—convincing Bruce—was done. Now all that was left was to prepare for the evening. As he flew home, the thought of everyone gathering around the table, sharing laughter and stories, filled him with warmth.
What they didn't know—what none of them knew yet—was that this wasn't just a dinner. It was the start of something new, something he and Y/N were excited to share with the people who meant the most to them. But for now, he'd let the anticipation build. The big news could wait until the right moment.
The kitchen buzzed with energy as Clark and Y/N worked side by side, preparing the dinner that would soon bring together their closest friends and family. The warm, savory aromas of simmering sauces, roasting vegetables, and fresh herbs filled the air, mingling with the soft hum of their favorite playlist playing in the background. The golden glow of the kitchen lights reflected off polished counters and the dishes they had meticulously chosen, adding to the cozy, inviting atmosphere they'd created.
Y/N stood at the counter, carefully chopping fresh basil and parsley while glancing at a handwritten recipe card propped up against a jar of olive oil. Clark, across from him, was stirring a pot of fragrant marinara sauce on the stove, his movements fluid and relaxed, though his occasional glances at Y/N betrayed his inability to fully focus on the task at hand.
"You're staring again," Y/N said with a soft laugh, not even bothering to look up from his chopping. His voice was warm, teasing.
Clark grinned, utterly unrepentant as he set the wooden spoon down and leaned casually against the counter. "Can you blame me? You're cute when you're focused."
Y/N rolled his eyes but couldn't stop the small smile tugging at his lips. "Flattery isn't going to help you with the sauce. Keep stirring before it burns."
Clark chuckled and pushed off the counter, resuming his task but sneaking another glance in Y/N's direction. "The sauce is fine. You, on the other hand... are a distraction."
Y/N set the knife down, turning to face him fully with a raised eyebrow. "Oh? And how exactly am I distracting you?"
Clark didn't answer right away. Instead, he crossed the space between them in two quick steps, his arms sliding around Y/N's waist as he pulled him close. Y/N let out a soft laugh of surprise, his hands instinctively resting on Clark's broad chest.
"Like this," Clark murmured, his voice low and playful. He leaned down, brushing his lips lightly against Y/N's, teasing him with barely-there kisses.
"Clark," Y/N protested weakly, though his hands curled slightly into Clark's shirt. "We have a dinner to prepare. People are coming over."
Clark's grin widened, and he pressed a kiss to Y/N's forehead before pulling back just enough to meet his eyes. "We've got plenty of time," he said confidently. "And if they show up a little early, I'll just tell them we're... busy."
Y/N laughed, shaking his head. "You're so needy," he said fondly, but there was no denying the warmth in his voice or the way he leaned into Clark's embrace.
"Yet you love me," Clark shot back with a wink before stepping back to give Y/N room to work. He returned to the stove, stirring the sauce with renewed focus, though the soft smile on his face lingered.
The two continued their dance around the kitchen, moving in perfect harmony as they worked. Y/N taste-tested the marinara, offering Clark a spoonful, which he accepted with an exaggerated "mmm" that made Y/N roll his eyes. Clark, in turn, helped Y/N season the lasagna layers, sprinkling just the right amount of cheese while sneaking playful pecks on Y/N's cheek whenever he got close enough.
At one point, as Y/N was plating appetizers, he felt Clark's arms snake around his waist again, pulling him gently away from the counter. "Clark," Y/N started, his tone half-scolding, half-amused.
"I just need one more," Clark said, leaning down to press a kiss to the side of Y/N's neck. "You can spare me thirty seconds."
Y/N sighed dramatically but turned in Clark's arms, resting his hands on his shoulders. "You're lucky you're cute," he said, leaning up to kiss him properly.
They stayed like that for a moment, wrapped in the warmth of the kitchen and the love they had built together. The world outside could wait, and even the dinner could wait for a few more seconds. Right now, this was theirs.
When they finally pulled apart, Y/N gave Clark a playful nudge. "Alright, back to work. If we burn the lasagna, I'm blaming you."
Clark laughed, grabbing a towel to pull the baking dish from the oven. "Don't worry, love. Everything's under control."
As the finishing touches came together—salads plated, drinks poured, desserts arranged on a decorative tray—the two took a moment to step back and admire their handiwork. The dining table was set with care, candles flickering softly against the elegant place settings, the air filled with the comforting scent of home-cooked food.
Clark slipped an arm around Y/N's waist, pulling him close as they looked at the table. "You know," he said softly, pressing a kiss to Y/N's temple, "I think this might be the best dinner we've ever made."
Y/N smiled, resting his head against Clark's shoulder. "It's not just the food," he replied. "It's us."
Clark tightened his hold, his voice low and full of love. "It's always us."
The soft chime of the doorbell rang out, cutting through the gentle hum of conversation as Y/N adjusted the centerpiece on the dining table one last time. Y/N glanced up, his heart skipping with excitement as Clark met his gaze with a reassuring smile.
"They're here," Clark said, his deep voice steady, though there was an unmistakable glimmer of anticipation in his eyes.
Y/N smoothed the front of his shirt, exhaling softly to steady himself. "Let's do this."
Clark crossed the room in a few long strides, his broad shoulders and calm demeanor exuding confidence as he reached for the door. When he opened it, the familiar, smiling faces of his parents—Martha and Jonathan Kent—were the first to greet him.
"Clark!" Martha exclaimed, stepping forward to wrap her son in a warm embrace. She barely reached his shoulders, but her love and pride radiated as if she could envelop him completely.
"Mom," Clark said warmly, leaning down slightly to hug her back. His voice softened as he added, "I'm so glad you're here."
Jonathan clapped Clark on the back with his usual firm but affectionate grip. "Good to see you, son. It smells amazing in here already. You two really went all out, huh?"
Clark chuckled, stepping aside to let them in. "We wanted tonight to be special."
As soon as they stepped through the door, Martha's eyes lit up as she spotted Y/N. "Y/N, sweetheart," she said, crossing the room with open arms.
"Hi, Martha," Y/N replied with a smile, leaning down to hug her. Her embrace was warm and familiar, and Y/N couldn't help but feel a sense of belonging every time she greeted him this way.
"You've outdone yourselves," she said as she pulled back, her hands lingering on his arms. "Everything looks beautiful."
"Thank you," Y/N said, his cheeks flushing slightly. "We're so happy to have you both here."
Jonathan stepped forward next, extending a firm handshake. "Y/N, good to see you," he said with an approving nod. "You've really made this place feel like home."
"That's the goal," Y/N replied, feeling a swell of pride.
Before they could settle in, the doorbell rang again. Y/N exchanged a quick look with Clark before moving to open it this time. On the other side stood his own parents, their faces lighting up the moment they saw him.
"Y/N!" his mom exclaimed, pulling him into a tight hug the moment the door swung open. Her voice was filled with emotion, and Y/N could feel the love and excitement radiating from her.
"Mom," Y/N said softly, holding her close for a moment before pulling back to greet his dad, who stood just behind her.
His dad extended a hand, his grip firm but filled with warmth. "Good to see you, son," he said with a proud smile. "And I have to say, this place already smells incredible."
"Thanks, Dad. It's great to have you both here," Y/N replied, stepping back to let them inside.
As they entered, Clark was already waiting with a friendly smile. He extended a hand to Y/N's father, shaking it firmly. "Mr. L/N, it's great to see you again."
"You too, Clark," he replied. "Though I think you can drop the formalities by now."
Clark chuckled, his easygoing demeanor putting everyone at ease. "Fair enough."
Y/N's mom beamed as she stepped forward to hug Clark. "Clark, it's so good to see you. You and Y/N have really outdone yourselves tonight."
"We're just glad you could make it," Clark replied, his tone sincere as he stepped aside to let them take in the setup.
As both sets of parents exchanged greetings and settled into the living room, Y/N and Clark exchanged a quick, knowing glance. The warmth and joy in the room felt tangible, and seeing their families come together like this was everything they had hoped for.
Y/N busied himself pouring drinks, while Clark made sure everyone was comfortable. Martha and Y/N's mom were already chatting animatedly about the dinner spread, while Jonathan and Y/N's dad swapped lighthearted stories.
Clark crossed the room to stand beside Y/N, his hand brushing lightly against Y/N's lower back. "I think this is off to a good start," he said softly, his voice filled with quiet affection.
Y/N smiled, leaning slightly into Clark's touch as he looked over at their parents. "Better than I could've hoped for."
The doorbell rang once more, Clark smiled warmly, squeezing Y/N's hand briefly before stepping toward the door.
"Ready for the next wave?" Clark asked with a hint of amusement in his voice.
Y/N laughed softly. "As ready as I'll ever be. Let's do this."
Clark opened the door, revealing the arrival of their extended family. Diana stood in the doorway, her presence commanding as always, but her smile was soft and welcoming. She was dressed elegantly, a touch of her Amazonian grace reflected even in casual clothes.
"Kal. Y/N," she greeted warmly, stepping forward to embrace Clark first. "Thank you for inviting me."
"Diana, you know you're always welcome here," Clark said, returning the hug.
She turned to Y/N, her expression softening even more as she leaned in for an embrace. "Y/N, it's wonderful to see you again. And the apartment—this is beautiful. I can already smell the love you two have put into tonight."
"Thanks, Diana," Y/N replied, his smile growing. "We're so glad you could make it."
Behind Diana, Barry appeared, practically bouncing with excitement as he zipped through the door. "Hey! I'm not late, am I?" he asked, his voice brimming with energy as he glanced around. "Oh, man, this place looks amazing! And is that lasagna I smell? Please tell me I'm smelling lasagna."
"Barry, you're early," Y/N teased with a grin, stepping forward to shake his hand.
"Yeah, but I didn't want to miss anything," Barry said, already eyeing the appetizers on the table. "You guys always throw the best dinners."
Hal and Arthur followed next, the two of them laughing as they stepped inside. Hal clapped Clark on the shoulder with his trademark grin.
"Big Blue," Hal said, his tone easygoing. "This setup looks way too fancy for just a dinner. You're hiding something."
Arthur nodded, smirking as he took in the spread. "I agree. No way you two pulled all this together without a reason."
Clark chuckled, shaking his head. "You'll just have to wait and see."
"Typical," Hal muttered, though his grin remained as he exchanged a firm handshake with Y/N.
Arthur gave Y/N a hearty pat on the shoulder. "Good to see you, Y/N. Thanks for having us."
"Wouldn't have been the same without you," Y/N replied sincerely.
Finally, Bruce arrived, fashionably late, as always. His dark suit and composed demeanor stood out against the warm, lively energy of the room, but his presence carried an understated respect that only he could manage.
"Clark. Y/N," Bruce said with a small nod as he stepped inside.
"Bruce," Clark greeted, shaking his hand firmly. "Thanks for coming."
Y/N extended his hand as well, feeling the strength of Bruce's grip as they shook. "It means a lot that you're here."
Bruce glanced around, his sharp eyes taking in every detail of the room. "This isn't just dinner, is it?"
Clark smiled knowingly. "You'll find out soon enough."
As the Justice League members settled in, the apartment buzzed with energy. Diana and Y/N's mom quickly struck up a conversation about the table settings, while Barry and Hal bantered loudly near the appetizers. Arthur found a spot near Jonathan and Y/N's dad, exchanging fishing stories that had everyone laughing, and Bruce, true to form, quietly observed the scene from a corner, though his subtle smile betrayed his approval.
Clark stepped up beside Y/N, slipping an arm around his waist as they watched the room fill with laughter and conversation.
"Think they're suspicious yet?" Y/N asked, his tone light but tinged with excitement.
"Oh, definitely," Clark replied, leaning in close so only Y/N could hear. "But they'll know soon enough."
The doorbell rang again, pulling Y/N and Clark's attention away from the lively chatter filling the apartment.
Clark stepped forward to answer the door. When he opened it, Jimmy Olsen practically bounded inside, his usual enthusiasm lighting up the doorway. His camera dangled around his neck, and his bright grin was as contagious as ever.
"Clark! Y/N!" Jimmy exclaimed, his voice brimming with excitement. "Man, this place looks amazing. You two really went all out!" He peered past them into the apartment, his eyes widening as he spotted the beautifully set dining table and the spread of food in the kitchen. "This smells incredible. Are you sure you're not secretly running a catering business on the side?"
Clark laughed, clapping Jimmy on the back. "Not quite, Jimmy. Come on in. Help yourself to some appetizers."
Jimmy didn't need to be told twice. "Don't mind if I do!" he said, heading straight for the table. "But seriously, this is top-tier hosting. You're going to spoil everyone."
Y/N shook his head, chuckling as he greeted Jimmy with a warm handshake. "Good to see you, Jimmy. I hope you're hungry—we've got plenty."
"I'm always hungry," Jimmy replied, grabbing a plate and eyeing the appetizers with wide-eyed appreciation.
As Jimmy busied himself with the spread, another figure stepped into the doorway. Lois Lane followed with her usual confident stride, pulling off her coat and handing it to Jimmy without breaking her pace. Her sharp gaze swept over the apartment, a small smirk tugging at her lips.
"Smallville, Y/N," Lois greeted, her voice carrying its signature blend of teasing and affection. "Well, look at you two. This setup is downright professional. Seriously, what's the occasion?"
Y/N and Clark exchanged a quick glance, the corners of their mouths twitching with barely hidden smiles. "Just wanted to get everyone together," Clark said smoothly. "It's been too long since we've had a proper dinner with friends and family."
"Uh-huh." Lois arched an eyebrow, clearly not buying the casual explanation. "Sure. You're definitely hiding something, and I'm going to figure it out before the night's over."
Y/N laughed, stepping forward to give her a quick hug. "Always the investigator, Lois. We're just glad you could make it."
Lois's expression softened, and she patted Y/N's arm. "Wouldn't miss it for the world. You know that."
As she made her way into the apartment, Lois paused briefly to admire the spread on the table. "Seriously, though. If this is just a casual dinner, I'm impressed. If not, then I better be the first to know whatever you're hiding."
Jimmy, now balancing a plate piled high with appetizers, chimed in, "I think the food alone is worth the mystery. But yeah, what's the deal, guys?"
Clark chuckled, shaking his head. "Patience. All will be revealed soon."
"Patience isn't my strong suit, Smallville," Lois quipped, though she grabbed a glass of wine and settled comfortably into a seat near Martha and Jonathan, who greeted her warmly.
Jimmy, meanwhile, wandered over to the Justice League members, his camera in hand. "Okay, this is wild," he said, looking between Diana, Barry, and Arthur. "I don't think I've ever seen this many heroes in one place without something blowing up."
Barry grinned, already halfway through a plate of food. "Hey, I'm just here for the lasagna."
Diana smiled knowingly. "It's good to gather like this—without chaos for once."
As Jimmy and Lois settled in, the apartment buzzed with energy. Y/N and Clark moved seamlessly between their guests, ensuring everyone had a drink and was comfortable. Y/N's parents chatted animatedly with Martha and Jonathan, while Lois and Diana struck up a conversation near the appetizers. Meanwhile, Jimmy tried unsuccessfully to get Bruce to pose for a candid shot, earning only a faint smirk from the usually stoic man.
Clark returned to Y/N's side, slipping an arm around his waist as they took a moment to survey the room. "Think they suspect anything yet?" he asked softly, his voice warm with amusement.
"Lois does, for sure," Y/N replied with a quiet laugh. "Jimmy probably just thinks we're trying to impress everyone with the food."
Clark smiled, leaning in close. "Well, the food is impressive. But it's not the main event."
"Not yet," Y/N said, glancing up at him with a grin. "But it will be."
With their closest friends and family now gathered under one roof, the stage was set for the announcement that would turn an already perfect evening into an unforgettable one.
The dining room hummed with cheerful conversation and laughter as the delicious aromas of the meal filled the air. Y/N stood at the kitchen counter, carefully plating up portions of lasagna, roasted vegetables, and golden garlic bread. His focus was on making sure each plate was perfect—every portion generous, every presentation neat and inviting. It was a small act of love, a way to show his appreciation for the people gathered around their table.
Clark stood beside him, ready to take each plate as it was finished. He leaned casually against the counter, his eyes filled with quiet admiration as he watched Y/N work. "You're amazing, you know that?" Clark murmured softly, just loud enough for Y/N to hear.
Y/N glanced up, his lips curving into a small smile. "I'm just making plates, Clark."
"No," Clark said, shaking his head slightly as he reached for the first plate. "You're making this whole night special. For everyone."
Y/N's cheeks flushed faintly, but he didn't respond, instead handing the next plate to Clark. One by one, Clark carried the plates to their guests, ensuring everyone had what they needed. Martha and Jonathan were the first to receive their plates, and Martha immediately beamed at the sight of the meal.
"This looks incredible," she said, her voice warm. "Thank you, Y/N."
Jonathan nodded, already inhaling the aroma. "Smells just as good as it looks."
Clark moved to the next table, setting plates in front of Y/N's parents. "Here you go," he said with a smile. "Straight from Y/N's hands."
Y/N's mom smiled brightly, her eyes crinkling with joy. "This is wonderful. You two really went all out."
"It's what we do," Clark replied with a chuckle, turning to grab another plate.
Barry, seated near the middle of the table, practically vibrated with excitement when Clark placed his plate in front of him. "Finally! I've been smelling this for hours—I'm starving."
"Take your time eating it, Barry," Diana said with a soft laugh, her plate already set in front of her. "It's a meal to savor."
"I'll try," Barry replied, though he was already digging in.
Clark continued handing out plates, moving effortlessly between the tables and flashing warm smiles at everyone. Hal raised an eyebrow as Clark set his plate down, smirking. "Tell me this isn't all Y/N's doing. You helped, right?"
Clark grinned. "I stirred the sauce," he said, earning a round of laughter from the group.
When the last plate was served, Y/N set down two plates on the counter—the ones for him and Clark. He wiped his hands on a kitchen towel, finally stepping back to admire the scene: their loved ones laughing, talking, and enjoying the meal he and Clark had worked so hard to prepare.
Clark approached him, his hand resting gently on Y/N's back. "Ready to eat?" he asked, his voice low and full of affection.
"Yeah," Y/N said with a smile, picking up his plate. But before he could move to a seat, Clark took both plates from him and set them down on the table.
Clark turned to him, his blue eyes shining with warmth. "Come here," he said softly, taking Y/N's hand.
Y/N raised an eyebrow, confused but amused as Clark gently pulled him toward one of the chairs. Instead of letting Y/N sit down, Clark settled into the chair himself and tugged Y/N down onto his lap. Y/N let out a small laugh, his arms instinctively wrapping around Clark's shoulders as he balanced himself.
"Clark," Y/N said, his voice low but full of affection. "There are people here."
"I know," Clark replied with a grin, his arms wrapping securely around Y/N's waist. "But this is our night, too."
Y/N shook his head, his cheeks flushing as he glanced around the table. Martha chuckled softly, sharing a knowing look with Y/N's mom. Lois smirked, raising an eyebrow in amusement, while Barry leaned over to Hal and whispered something that earned him a playful elbow in the ribs.
"You're impossible," Y/N murmured, though his voice was laced with warmth as he rested his forehead against Clark's.
"And you love it," Clark replied, leaning up to press a soft kiss to Y/N's temple.
With their plates in front of them, they finally began to eat, sharing quiet words and laughter as the warmth of the evening surrounded them. It wasn't just about the food or the gathering—it was about the love that radiated between them and the people they cared about most. In that moment, everything felt perfect.
As the meal wound down and the sound of laughter and conversation filled the apartment, Y/N glanced at Clark, who was seated beside him. Their hands brushed under the table, a small but reassuring gesture. Clark turned his head and met Y/N's gaze, his eyes full of warmth and encouragement. This was the moment.
Clark cleared his throat gently, tapping his fork against his glass. The soft chime rang out, catching the attention of their friends and family. Slowly, the room quieted, and all eyes turned toward them. Y/N felt a flicker of nervous excitement, but Clark's steady presence beside him gave him the confidence to speak.
"Thank you, everyone, for being here tonight," Clark began, his voice calm and strong, carrying easily over the room. His gaze swept across the table, lingering on the faces of their loved ones—Martha and Jonathan, Y/N's parents, Lois and Jimmy, and the members of the Justice League. "It means so much to have all of you here with us."
Y/N smiled, picking up where Clark left off. "We wanted tonight to be special because all of you are such an important part of our lives. You've been with us through so many milestones, and we couldn't imagine celebrating this next one without you."
The room fell completely silent, the weight of their words hanging in the air. Y/N's mom tilted her head slightly, her expression softening as if she already suspected what was coming. Lois leaned forward in her seat, her sharp eyes glinting with curiosity, while Barry's mouth hung open slightly, as if he were piecing it together.
Clark reached under the table, taking Y/N's hand in his own. He looked at Y/N, his eyes shining with love, before turning back to their guests. "Y/N and I have been through so much together—laughter, challenges, and everything in between. And recently..." He paused, glancing at Y/N with a smile that could have lit up the room. "I asked him a very important question."
Y/N smiled softly, his voice steady as he continued. "And I said yes."
Clark gently lifted Y/N's hand, revealing the elegant ring that now sparkled in the candlelight. "We're engaged," Clark announced, his voice filled with pride and joy.
For a moment, the room was completely still, the news settling in. Then, all at once, the silence gave way to cheers, applause, and exclamations of excitement. Martha gasped, her hands flying to her mouth as her eyes filled with tears. Jonathan beamed proudly, clapping Clark on the back from across the table.
"Congratulations!" Diana said, her voice warm as she rose from her seat to embrace them both. "This is wonderful news."
Barry practically leapt out of his chair, his excitement palpable as he gestured wildly. "I knew it! I knew it! This is amazing—when's the wedding? Can I bring cupcakes? No, wait, I'm making the cake!"
Lois smirked, raising her glass in a toast. "I knew something was up the moment I walked in. Congratulations, you two—you're perfect for each other."
Y/N's mom stood, pulling her son into a tight embrace, tears streaming down her face. "I'm so proud of you," she whispered, her voice trembling with emotion. "And so happy for you both."
Jonathan shook Y/N's hand firmly before pulling him into a quick, fatherly hug. "Welcome to the family, son," he said, his voice thick with pride. "Though you've been part of it for a long time already."
Martha took Y/N's face in her hands, her smile radiant through her tears. "You make my boy so happy," she said softly, glancing at Clark. "And that's all a mother could ever ask for."
Even Bruce, seated quietly at the end of the table, offered a small nod of approval. "Congratulations," he said simply, his tone warm despite its brevity.
As the congratulations poured in, Clark and Y/N stood side by side, their hands intertwined. Y/N's heart swelled as he looked around the room, taking in the love and support from every person gathered there. This moment, surrounded by the people who meant the most to them, felt like the beginning of something truly extraordinary.
Clark leaned in close, his voice low enough for only Y/N to hear. "I told you they'd be happy."
Y/N laughed softly, his cheeks flushed with emotion. "I wasn't worried. Not with you by my side."
The evening carried on with more toasts, stories, and laughter, the celebration of their engagement filling the apartment with warmth and joy. It was a night they would never forget—the perfect start to the next chapter of their lives together.

Zoro:
Zoro was always in charge, and you loved it. Your boyfriend was never one to hesitate—blunt about his needs and wants, taking what he desired without question. But deep down, you longed to see him melt, to watch him lose control for once. You tried to make him beg, to push him to the edge and force him to wait. That thought lingered in your mind as the ship docked at a bustling port with an expansive marketplace. So you decide to find some rope…
That evening, the crew gathered for dinner. The table, as always, was a riot of chaos and laughter. You sat next to Zoro, his hand resting firmly on your thigh beneath the table, possessive but subtle enough that no one noticed. Luffy and Usopp were cracking jokes, their antics drawing loud, tearful laughter from Chopper. Brook sipped his tea, chuckling in his usual elegant manner, while Robin watched the chaos with her serene, knowing smile. Sanji flitted about, serving dessert plates to Nami, Robin, and you with his usual flair.
“Thanks, Sanji!” Nami said with a flutter of her lashes, her tone sweet enough to send the cook spinning into heart-eyed bliss.
Luffy lunged across the table to swipe someone’s dessert, only to be dragged back by Sanji and Franky, the latter shaking his head with a bemused grin. Jimbei sat quietly, sake cup in hand, his deep chuckle rumbling like distant thunder as he observed the scene.
Amid the familiar chaos, you leaned closer to Zoro, your lips just brushing the shell of his ear.
Zoro stilled momentarily, his grip on your thigh tightening just slightly. Then he exhaled slowly, lifting his sake cup to his lips to down the remainder in a single swig. He turned slightly, just enough for his dark eyes to meet yours. His expression was unreadable, but the faint smirk tugging at his lips and the sharp glint in his eye spoke volumes.
“What is it?” he asked, his voice quiet, almost casual, but heavy with intrigue.
You pulled back just enough to hold his gaze, a playful smile curving your lips.
“Patience,” you said, voice soft but full of promise.
Zoro stood up and excused himself, taking his dishes to the sink. Before exiting the room, he glanced over his shoulder, his dark eyes locking on yours for a brief moment. A small tilt of his head was all it took—a silent invitation meant just for you. The lively chaos of the crew around you served as the perfect distraction, ensuring no one noticed the exchange.
The crew had their suspicions about you and Zoro, but neither of you had ever confirmed anything outright. There were the occasional… sounds—questionable noises that went unexplained, or poorly explained when someone asked. But no one pried, respecting the unspoken boundaries. Even so, you and Zoro preferred to keep things discreet.
You let a few minutes pass, discussing hopes for future adventures with your crewmates and laughing at Luffy’s usual antics. The camaraderie felt light and warm, but your attention was elsewhere, anticipation simmering across your skin. Eventually, you stood and stretched, stifling a yawn.
“I’m exhausted,” you said, offering a sheepish smile. “Think I’ll turn in early.”
As always, Sanji was quick to intervene when you reached for your plate.
“Absolutely not! A lady never clears her own dishes,” he declared, whisking it away before you could protest.
You laughed lightly, shaking your head. “Thanks, Sanji. Goodnight, everyone!” You say with a wave.
With that, you left the others to their meal and slipped away, the faint hum of laughter and clinking dishes fading as you headed down the hallway. You didn’t rush, your steps unhurried but deliberate, the promise of what awaited you adding a sway to your stride. By the time you reached your quarters, your heart was beating just a little faster.
Zoro was waiting.
You took a deep breath, steadying yourself, before opening the door. Zoro stood by your bed, casually caressing the rope you'd bought that day in his hand.
“Well, Princess,” he said, a teasing edge to his voice, “care to explain what this is for?”
You swallowed hard, your cheeks warming. “That’s... what I wanted to talk to you about,” you began, hesitating. You took a shaky breath then spoke, “Zoro, can I tie you up? I want to be in charge for once.”
A smirk tugged at the corners of his lips as he looked from the rope to you, his sharp eyes glinting with curiosity. He exhaled slowly, considering your words. Zoro wasn’t the kind of man who easily surrendered control. He knew what he wanted, and he took it without hesitation.
But for you? Just this once, he was willing to try.
“Fine,” he said, at last, raising an eyebrow. “Just this once. But…” His smirk widened as he tossed the rope onto the bed beside him. “You’re going to have to make me.”
The challenge in his tone sent a spark of determination through you. Standing tall, you square your shoulders and step toward him. With a firm push, you guided him backward onto the bed.
He laughed, the sound low and warm, and nodded in mock surrender. “Alright, alright,” he murmured, his hands coming to rest on your waist as he pulled you on top of him.
You reached for his wrists, trying to pin them to his sides, but he resisted.
“I never said I’d make it easy,” he teased, his voice laced with amusement.
“Zoro,” you said with a shake of your head, meeting his gaze.
His grin only widened as his hands tightened slightly on your waist, his eyes never leaving yours. Slowly, you leaned in, brushing your lips against his. The kiss started soft and teasing, your fingers threading into his hair. As you shifted your legs, straddling him, his lips pressed harder against yours, his hunger evident.
He was trying to take control again, his hands already sliding up your waist.
Not this time.
Your hand reached out, grabbing the rope from where he’d dropped it. You broke the kiss, pushing him firmly back against the bed.
“No, Zoro,” you said, your voice steady and commanding. “I’m in charge today. I’m tying you up for good measure. Now be a good swordsman and let me.”
His eyes flicked to yours, narrowing slightly in defiance, but there was a flicker of intrigue behind them.
“You’re going to learn patience for once,” you added, holding his gaze. “And if you’re good, you’ll be rewarded.”
You reached for the hem of his shirt, your fingers brushing against his skin as you pulled it up over his head. He chuckled softly, his amusement evident, as if entertained by your bold attempts at authority.
Next, your hands moved to the waistband of his pants, but before you could act, his hand shot out, gripping your wrist firmly. In one swift motion, he pulled you closer, his lips brushing against your ear as he spoke.
“Princess, princess, princess…” he murmured, his voice low and teasing. “You’re driving me crazy.”
A shiver ran down your spine, but you refused to back down. Turning your head to meet his gaze, your lips hovered close to his, and your eyes locked.
“Good,” you whispered.
His lips curved into a smirk. “Let’s just cut to the chase,” he said, his tone dripping with impatience as he pulled you into his lap, his arms wrapping around your waist. “Let me take care of you.”
You rolled your eyes, refusing to fall into his rhythm. With a firm push, you shoved him back against the bed, your hands pinning his arms at his sides.
“No,” you said, your voice steady and filled with determination.
He raised an eyebrow at you, but a flicker of approval glimmered in his dark eyes.
Before he could resist, you grabbed his wrists and secured them to the bedframe with the rope. He fought back slightly, his muscles tensing as you worked, his jaw tightening when the ropes cinched snugly around his wrists.
His gaze never left you. Those intense, lust-filled eyes burned into yours, his breathing growing shakier with each passing second.
You smiled, a mixture of triumph and anticipation, before shifting to the foot of the bed. His eyes followed your every move as you bent down and undid the zipper of his pants, slowly pulling them and his boxers down his legs. You tossed them to the side of the bed. Gripping his ankle one at a time tied his legs to the bed, securing him completely. His arousal grows from watching you.
Zoro sat up as much as the restraints allowed, straining for a better view of you.
“Still fighting me, huh?” you teased, crawling up the bed to straddle him as you ran your fingers lightly down his chest.
His lips curled into a smirk, but he said nothing, the tension between you thick enough to cut with a knife.
He jerked forward against the restraints, the ropes straining as his muscles flexed. The urge to pull you close burned in his chest, frustration etched in every line of his face. His teeth ground together, and his ragged breaths only added to his irritation, the lack of control gnawing at him.
You tilted your head, studying him with a playful glint in your eye. “What’s wrong, baby? Do you need something?” you teased, your voice dripping with mock sympathy as you bit down on your lip, savoring the sight of him.
“What’s wrong baby..? Do you need something?” You say teasing, biting down on your lip as you take in the sight of him.
His dark eyes narrowed, the heat in them growing as he leaned back against the headboard, forcing himself to breathe deeply. Slowly, a small grin spread across his lips, defiance and desire mingling in his expression.
“What now, Princess?” he asked, his voice rough but taunting, the nickname laced with challenge.
You smirked in response, crawling up the bed with deliberate slowness, closing the distance between you. Leaning in, you brought your lips to his ear.
The warm sensation of your breath sent shivers rippling through his body, his chest rising sharply as he instinctively leaned into you, only to be reminded by the ropes that he couldn’t move.
“Patience,” you whispered, your tone soft but commanding, the word lingering in the air like a promise.
“Now, I play,” you whispered, your lips brushing against his jaw as they trailed softly down his neck.
A shiver ran through his body, his squirming beneath you igniting a spark that spread like fire to your core. You let out a low, pleased moan as a deep growl rumbled from between his clenched teeth. Your tongue flicked over his neck, stopping at his collarbone, where your teeth sank into his skin just enough to make him gasp. A shaky groan slipped from Zoro’s lips. You then soothed the bite with gentle kisses, your eyes flicking up to meet his.
His body was tense, desire burning in the dark depths of his gaze. Slowly, you tilted your chin up and pressed a soft kiss to his lips, lingering just long enough to leave him wanting. When you pulled back, your eyes danced between his lips and his lust-filled eyes.
“Zoro…” you murmur, your voice low and teasing. “What do you want? What do you need?”
He swallowed hard, his breath shaky as it escaped his chest. “You… I need you,” he whispered, the words raw and unsteady.
“And how do you want me..? You’ve been patient so far… I may be willing to reward you if you continue.” I say, raising my eyebrows at him.
Your eyes stay locked on his, even as your lips begin their descent, trailing soft, deliberate kisses down his chest to his abdomen. The closer you move to his length the more his groans fill the air, rough and unrestrained. His hips buck with need. His arms strain against the ropes binding him, muscles flexing in frustration, forcing you to pause.
“Zoro, patience,” you purr.
His body stiffened, and a shudder ran through him as he exhaled shakily. You can feel the tension radiating from him. His length aching to be touched.
Your eyes trace the expanse of his long, toned torso, down to his hardened length, before meeting his gaze again. Slowly, you licked your lips and shifted your body to settle between his legs.
Zoro’s breath catches in his chest, his eyes fixed on you. No matter how many times he’d seen you like this, it never failed to ignite something primal within him. His legs tense, and his bound arms tug at the restraints, his body struggling to remain still, to remain unable to take you the way he wanted to. The raw hunger in his expression sends a thrill through you, and a knowing smile curls at your lips.
You firmly place a hand on his base causing Zoro to growl. He swallowed hard, his body quivering beneath your touch. You lowered a second hand on his length, your hands barely wrapping around him completely. Licking your lips again, you inched your mouth towards letting your breath hit his tip. His toes curled, sending an electric sensation up his body. He pulled against his restraints more desperate for your touch.
“Y/N, please.” He begged.
You smile, “Beg more Zo.” You requested.
He swallowed hard, his voice soft and needy, “Please, Y/N. Need to feel your… mouth on me.”
With that, you lick his tip, one stroke. His breathing became rapid, weak groans escaping him. You breathe out on him again, lowering your head to his base. You stick out your tongue and trace up and down his length. After several swipes, you stop once more at his tip where you slide him between your soft pink lips. A weak ragged breath escapes him as you take him further in his mouth.
“Y/N.” He moans, his hands fighting his restraints wanting to put a hand on the back of your head to control your depth and speed.
You smirk against him, taking him into the back of your mouth. In response, he lets out a loud uncontrolled growl. Your hands settle on his legs and you start moving your lips up and down against him, shifting between deep and shallow strokes. The noises from your lips cause him to fight his restraints more. His hips buck up into your face.
You let out a soft chuckle and remove your lips from him. He gasps at the cool air hitting him. You wipe your mouth and shift your hands to his hips, pushing him down against the bed. He growls in response.
You lower your mouth back to him, swirling your tongue on his tip. You gently slide him across your tongue taking him into your mouth once again. After adjusting, your head bounces up and down between his legs, holding his length between your lips. His feet kicked at the bed frame, his head digging into the headboard.
“Y/N. I’m going to…” he starts to speak but a groan cuts him off.
You smiled against him, taking him as deep in your throat as you could. The tight sensation drove him wild. With a growl, he moaned and finished shooting down your throat. His body trembled under your touch and you slowly pulled him out from your lips.
“Great job, Zo.” You said before licking the mess that dripped down his length. When you were done you showed him your tongue to show you’d taken all of him. His chest heaves, his breath slowing.
“Y/N. That was…” he started, a smirk growing on his face, but you cut him off.
“Oh Zoro, we’re not done yet.” You said with a mischievous grin.
Sanji
Sanji was in the kitchen, preparing ingredients for tomorrow's meals. The thing about Sanji was that you could always count on him to take care of your needs. He was like your personal toy or a loyal puppy: obedient, eager, and willing to do whatever you asked, whether it be sit, stay, or lie down.
When you entered the kitchen, the soft sound of the door caught his attention. He was chopping vegetables, a lit cigarette perched between his lips as he worked. A bead of sweat rolled down his temple, which he wiped away with a cloth draped over his shoulder. At the sound of your arrival, he glanced up, raising one of his signature curly eyebrows.
“Oh, Y/N,” he greeted, a warm smile gracing his lips. “You hungry? Need anything?” His eyes roamed down your figure briefly before returning to the task at hand.
It wasn’t the first time you’d wandered into the kitchen late at night while he worked. You both knew the routine and he loved it.
“You almost done?” you asked casually, leaning against the wooden counter beside him, your eyes waiting patiently for him to meet yours.
Sanji paused, the rhythmic chop of the knife halting as he turned to you. A smile crept across his face. “I’ll take it, you need something?” His voice was soft, teasing, as his gaze drifted lower down your body.
“Yeah, I do…” you said, letting your voice lower with a hint of need. “Think you can help me?”
He didn’t hesitate. Sanji set the knife down and dropped the towel onto the counter. “I’d do anything for you, Y/N,” he said, stepping closer, his hand resting lightly on your waist.
“Yeah?” you murmured, tilting your head to meet his gaze. “Then prove it.” You said, grabbing the lit cigarette from his lips and patting it out in the ashtray beside you.
Your hand lifted again and grabbed the black tie he wore, pulling him close, so close that your lips were just a breath apart. His eyes widened slightly, filled with intrigue and want, as he held your lust-filled gaze.
You brought your lips less than an inch to his, breathing against his face. Your needy eyes staring into his eyes then glancing down at his aching lips.
But before your lips could touch, you smiled mischievously and let go of his tie, stepping back and slipping from his grasp.
“Follow me,” you said with a smirk, your voice dripping with challenge as you turned and walked away, leaving him standing there, stunned but more than willing to follow.
Sanji’s heart raced. He trailed closely behind you, admiring the sway of your hips as you walked. He sped up, matching your pace, and brushed a hand against the small of your back. The ship was silent, the rest of the crew deep in slumber, while the two of you ascended to the crow’s nest. You climbed ahead of him, your skirt swaying with each ladder rung you climbed, the breeze catching it and raising it slightly. Sanji’s eyes couldn’t help but linger, catching a tantalizing glimpse beneath at the lack of panties you were wearing. The sight made his breath hitch and his nose bleed. He knew exactly where this night was headed.
Once inside the crow’s nest, Sanji wasted no time. His hands found your waist as he leaned in, his lips seeking yours. But you stopped him, eyes meeting his. You pressed your palm lightly against his chest.
“Lie down,” you commanded.
Sanji’s lips curled into a soft, mischievous smile. “As you wish, my love,” he murmured, moving to the couch and reclining with ease, his gaze never leaving you.
His chest rose and fell with anticipation as you approached, every step deliberate, your movements laced with intent. When you reached him, you climbed onto the couch, spreading your legs to straddle him. With the release of an exhale you pressed your hands against his chest and pinned him down.
“Use me however you need, Y/N.” He said, his voice a bit raspy at the desperation building within him. His eyes traced your shape sitting against him, his breath hitching in his chest.
You lifted a hand to his cheek, caressing it gently. “Oh Sanji dear, I will.” You said with a wink.
A shiver ran down Sanji’s spine. The silence around him was deafening, broken only by the thunderous rhythm of his heartbeat echoing in his ears. You shifted, lifting yourself from where you had been straddling his abdomen, your movements slow and deliberate, leaving him breathless beneath you. You move to hover your hips over his face. His eyes admire your naked folds beneath your skirt, his tongue flicking across his lips, as desire ached throughout him.
With an inhale, he breathed your scent in deeply. His breathing turned rapid. His arms lifted to your legs, his hands squeezing your hips. The fabric of your skirt scrunched beneath his grasp. Your body trembled under his touch, a wave of need coursing through you. Without hesitation, you lowered yourself onto his face.
The feeling of his warm breath between your fold causes you to moan and spread your legs wider. His lips pepper your folds with kisses, his hips bucking at your moan. The grasp on your hips and legs grew tighter. Electricity danced across your skin when his tongue began to trace shapes on your sensitivity. The loud needy moan escaping your damn lips led Sanji to pull you closer.
“Good boy, Sanji. You’re treating me so good, Baby.” You said before moaning again.
Your hips roll back and forth against his tongue. Shaky breaths escape you. Your hands wander from the arm of the couch to his hair. Your fingers curled deep within his blonde waves while his tongue dipped to dance within you.
Your skirt shifts, his hand letting go of your hip to slip under its fabric. His fingers slid up your folds until they met your sensitive bud, his thumb circling it with fervor.
“Sanji.” You moaned, your hips thrusting while you rode his face. The tickling of his goatee drove you wild.
Every moan that came from your lips sent Sanji deeper into a frenzy. The strong grip of his hand encouraged you to lean back. His tongue worked deeper within your walls, seeking out your sensitivity. Once he found it, he lapped with delight, his thumb and tongue moving faster with varying pressures.
“Sanji!” You said. “I’m going to..!”
Sanji gripped your body tighter against his face. His tongue moved up and down within you, hitting your special spot repeatedly while his thumb spiraled harder on your sensitivity. The warmth in your abdomen grew. Your hips bucked and your body trembled.
“SANJIII.” You moaned, your ecstasy overwhelming you.
Like a firework, you burst, your juices dripping down onto Sanji’s face.
He lapped up every drop, planting gentle kisses between your legs when he was done. You softly moaned and quivered against him, still feeling sensitive.
“Need more baby, please! I could eat you all night. Please may I?” He begged
You laugh, your body shivered as he kissed between your folds on your now overly sensitive spot.
“Sanjiii.” You weakly moaned. A breath escapes your lip and you release your hands from his hair. Scooting back off his face onto his abdomen you look down into his eyes. A soft smile grazes your cheeks.
“You’re so good to me Sanji… Letting me use you like that.”
“Use me anytime. Please. I’d do anything for you. Whatever you need, I’m yours.”
You smirk a warm feeling growing within you, but a dark need began to build in your core.
“If you insist. You’re like a loyal puppy—always coming back for more, always doing as you’re told,” you teased, your fingers lightly tracing the sharp line of his jaw. A mischievous smile played on your lips. “Bark for me, Sanji.”
His eyes gleamed with a mix of humor and desire, and without hesitation, he let out a loud, “Woof.”
You chuckled softly, leaning forward to press your lips against his. Your tongue slipped between his parted lips, tasting the faint bitterness of cigarettes mixed with red wine and the essence of yourself lingering on him. The blend made you smile wider as he pulled you closer, his hands gripping you firmly.
When he finally broke the kiss, his voice was low, almost pleading. “Please, let me taste you more,” he whispers, his gaze burning with need.
You nod, brushing your lips against his in a softer kiss before shifting to settle yourself above his face once more, surrendering to his request.
Luffy
Luffy needed three things, meat, adventure, and you. That day he’d been messing around with Chopper and Usop like normal until you decided to sunbathe on deck. You exited the cabin interior, wearing only a red string biking. His eyes fell on you, his heart beginning to thud in his chest. His whole body grew warm and in an instant, his arm stretched across the deck finding your waist. He flung himself next to you and pulled you close.
“Y/N.” Luffy said.
“Yes Luffy..?” You ask with an innocent hum.
His fingers gently traced up your waist to your sides, rubbing across your abdomen. Your hair shifted and you felt his breath hit your neck sending a cold shiver down your spine. He moved closer behind you, his pelvis shifting to dig into your back. A pink hue grew on your cheeks as you felt his need.
“I need you.” He muttered.
“Luffy I just got changed…” You replied, looking over your shoulder for your eyes to meet his.
“I need you, Y/N,” he said. He pulled you deeper into his embrace, his hips grinding into your back.
“Luffy… the crew.” You stutter out.
Luffy nips at your neck catching your skin between his teeth. His hands trail with more fervor across your body. His breathing grew rapid, his eyes growing darker with desire.
“Please, Y/N.”He begged.
You hesitate, scanning the deck amazed your crewmates were not watching the scene their captain was putting on. “Fine. My quarters. Now.” You said.
He gripped your waist tightly, his hold possessive yet careful, and dashed toward your living quarters, keeping you pressed firmly against his side. In one fluid motion, he threw open the door and pulled you inside, the wood slamming shut behind you with a resounding thud.
The small room was simple, its wooden walls bathed in the soft glow of evening light. The only furnishings were a bed draped with a deep purple bedspread and a plain white nightstand beside it. But neither of you spared a glance at the surroundings.
His lips crashed against yours, urgent and fervent, his hands tracing the bare skin of your back with a rough tenderness. The lingering warmth of the sun seemed to cling to his lips, blending with the faint taste of meat from dinner, an unexpected detail that only heightened the rawness of the moment.
His hold on you collapsed harder as he pulled you closer, his body pressing into yours with an intensity that sent heat coursing through you. His hips moved instinctively, a needy rhythm that made your breath catch.
Your heart raced, a fire igniting within you, both thrilling and commanding. You loved Luffy, but his impulsiveness always came first, often overshadowing your own needs. He needed to remember who was in control.
You pulled back from his strong embrace, placing your hands firmly on his chest to push him away. But his arms only tightened around you, a desperate strength in his hold.
“Luffy!” you said sharply, your tone laced with authority as you huffed in frustration.
He stopped, his rapid breathing mingling with yours as his wide, earnest eyes locked onto yours, searching for permission that wasn’t coming.
“Y/N… please,” he murmured, his voice raw and pleading. He leaned in, his lips aiming for the sensitive curve of your neck, but you pressed your hands against him again, stopping him short.
“Luffy, sit down,” you ordered, your voice firm and unwavering. “We’ve been through this. You’re rushing again.”
His lips parted in a groan, frustration flashing across his face. His hands lingered on your sides, gripping tightly for a moment before finally letting go. With a heavy sigh, he stomped to the bed and dropped onto its edge, sulking but compliant.
“Good,” you said firmly, your voice low and commanding. “Now, breathe.”
He drew in a deep, shaky breath, his chest rising as his gaze fixed on you. His eyes, dark and filled with unrelenting desire, refused to soften even as he exhaled. The hunger in his stare was magnetic, pulling you in, his need almost tangible in the charged air between you.
“Please…” he whispered, the word breaking from his lips like a prayer.
You stepped closer, letting the moment stretch before slowly lowering yourself onto his lap. The instant your hips pressed against him, his body reacted instinctively, his hips jerking upward, desperate for more.
A frustrated hiss escaped through your clenched teeth, and your hand shot up to his throat, your fingers pressing firmly into his skin. His breath hitched, his body stilling under your touch.
“Slow down,” you commanded, your tone sharp, allowing for no argument.
Luffy’s eyes widened, his hand instinctively reaching up to yours on his throat. The tension between you simmered, his shallow breaths mingling with yours. The sensation of your grip, firm and unyielding, left him trembling. The lack of air, coupled with your dominance, had a calming yet electrifying effect on him. A gasp slipped from his lips as you tightened your hold, and when you finally released him, he panted hard.
A smirk crept across his face.
You smiled back, watching him catch his breath. His hand returned to your waist, squeezing gently. The softness of his touch sent a wave of warmth through you, and you leaned in, pressing a tender kiss to his lips.
His shoulders relaxed beneath your touch, his body unwinding as your arms wrapped around his neck. You paused, inhaling deeply, savoring the moment before pulling him closer for a deeper kiss. His body quivered slightly beneath you, a telltale sign of the effect you had on him.
Your grip on him tightened as his tongue brushed against yours, the kiss deepening with each passing second. But just as he began to lose himself, you broke the kiss, letting your lips trail softly down to his neck.
“Please, Y/N,” he murmured, his voice tinged with need.
While your lips lingered at the base of his neck, your hand moved to your side, deftly untying the strings of your bikini bottoms. With one last lingering kiss on his clavicle, you pulled back, locking eyes with him.
His jaw clenched as he took in your gaze—loving yet commanding—and the rise and fall of his chest grew uneven. Your fingertips trailed down his arm, delicate yet deliberate, until they reached his wrist. As you curled your fingers around it, his muscles tensed beneath your touch.
You gave him a small, knowing nod and guided his hand between your legs, the anticipation hanging thick in the air.
“You have to warm me up first.. remember?”
Luffy nodded.”Right.”
His fingers traced between your slick wet folds. A hard swallow bobbed down his throat. He let out another weak breath. His eyes remained locked on yours, his hips bucking every once in a while, his need still trying to overwhelm him. Every time his hips bucked you tightly squeezed his shoulders, your hand drifting closer to his neck, reminding him to slow down.
His fingers circled on your sensitivity. He gripped your hips pulling you closer to him. You moaned as he rubbed you, your head dropping to rest on his shoulder. Your breathing then began to match his. A smile spread on your face, your hips squirming at the sensation between your legs.
After a few more minutes of playing with you, Luffy’s eyes darkened. He lifted his other hand to untie your bikini top. His lips met your bare skin peppering your neck and chest with kisses. You moaned at the sensation of his lips on your skin, your teething digging deep into your body lip while his left hand continued to work between your legs.
His head tilted, finding your sensitive nipples. He lapped them up between his lips and bit down.
“Luffy….” You moaned.
“Please Y/N.” He begged, His grip tightening on your hip.
He swallowed, his body tensing, but he couldn’t help his hips bucking upward again.
“Okay, Luffy.” You replied, your hands dropping from his neck and shoulders to his chest.
His eyes lit up a wide green spreading across his face. He eagerly lifted you from his hips and pulled down his shorts and boxers. His length was long and hard. With one hand he pulled you towards him, using his other to stroke your wet folds with his length. His breath caught in his chest when you reached for him. He let go, allowing you to take over. His hands settled back on your waist and pulled you close.
You slowly guided him to your entrance and eased him into you. Your moan bounced across the walls of the room as he stretched you, pushing himself deeper. You clawed at his back. Your walls clenched around him.
Luffy began to pull back, but you dug your nails into his back and chest.
“Let me adjust.” You replied breathily.
He nodded. His eyes locked on your form in front of him. His hands gripped your hips for dear life waiting for you to tell him he could move.
You let out a slow deep breath.
“Okay, but start slow, okay?” You said.
Luffy eagerly nodded, pulling out of you. He pressed his lips to yours and thrusts back in, his pace slow. With each push he moved deeper, using his devil fruit to help him stretch himself to feel more of you.
“Luffy.” You moaned.
“You feel so good.” He groaned. “Need…”
His hips rutted faster and your hand jerked to his throat squeezing him tight. He gasped and stopped thrusting.
While your hand remained on his throat, you rode him. You set the pace, rolling your hips to feel more of him. You let out another moan before releasing your tight grasp on his throat.
The rise and fall of his chest was shallow as he caught his breath. The action relaxed him but also drove him more wild with need. He pulled you closer, moving his hips into deep but controlled thrusts. His wide needy eyes begged for you to allow him to move faster.
“Good, Luffy. Now faster.”
With that, he stood up from the bed. He brought both arms around your waist and backed you into one of the walls. Once against it, he pushed on your abdomen encouraging you to lie back into the wall at an angle. When he was happy with your position, he wrapped your legs tighter around his thighs and waist. His hands traced up your legs to your hips, where his fingers dug into your exposed skin.
He nodded at you and you nodded back. With the release of a deep breath, he began thrusting faster into you, his form becoming sloppy, but the new position allowed him to hit deeper inside you.
Your hands rested on his shoulders, your hips bucking against him. The position allowed him to hit your sensitive spot within your folds.
“Perfect, Luffy right there… Yes.” you cooed.
His eyes lit up with desire, and he pounded harder loving the sweat sounds escaping your lips.
“Luffy, I’m…”
His thumb moved from your waist to your sensitivity where he rubbed circles on it. You bit your lip at the sensation, feeling the warmth within your abdomen burst.
“Lufffyy.” You moaned, your juices releasing on him. He continued to thrust into you through your release, the clenches of your walls driving him into his own. Your body trembled on him, and he leaned forward. You felt the pulsing of him within you and he released a moaning finishing deep within your walls.
“Y/N.” he huffed softly, and you could feel a smile grow on his lips against your shoulder.
“Luffy, that was so good.” Your voice was still shaky from your pleasure but delighted from the experience.
He gently lowered your legs to the floor and pulled out of you. His breathing ragged, he stepped closer to you and kissed your cheek.
“I hope Sanji’s made lunch, I’m hungry.”
“You’re always hungry,” I replied.
“Good thing you always have a snack for me.” He said with a grin as he licked his lips.

* Hold on to the memories (they will hold on to you) by nevermind_991 / @nevermind991 [M, 8k, Louis/Harry]
From the story:
“So, Mr Tomlinson, still think I’m a weak witch?”
“Make it stop!” Louis shouted. In his entire existence no one had ever dared to inflict such agony on him. He had never experienced anything like this…
Harry chuckled darkly, “Or what?” he taunted, throwing Louis’ own words back at him. Another flick of his wrist, and the pressure intensified.
“Jesus, fuck!” Louis gasped, agony rippling through him. Through the pain, he looked up at Harry, standing over him with a dark smirk playing on his lips.
With all the strength he had left, Louis lunged and then grabbed Harry’s ankles yanking him down. Finally, the noise stopped. “You fucking miserable witch! Count your minutes.”
Louis’ eyes turning red, his canines fully extended ready to sink into every last drop of Harry’s blood. You said you can snap my neck in a blink of an eye,” Louis growled, voice low and deadly. “So can I… with my bare hands.”
Or- Louis Tomlinson, a thousand-year-old vampire and English literature professor at Cambridge, finds his life disrupted when his new PhD student, Harry Styles, arrives. Their meeting uncovers hidden secrets and forces them to confront their past and future.
* Till Death Do Us Part by Larry_you_know / @larryyouknow [M, 68k, Harry/Louis]
Louis was living his ordinary life right until one day, when he woke up in a world that wasn't his. He doesn't know how or why he got here, but one thing is certain: he must find a way back home. Trapped in dangerous underworld where power is everything, and trust is a luxury, he is determined to escape. Meeting Harry changes everything and Louis is faced with an impossible choice — will he fight to return to the life he lost, or surrender to love he never saw coming?
* All Of You For Eternity by @signofcomfort [M, 29k, Louis/Harry]
A beat passed between them, the curtains fluttered, and Louis could still hear faints of Harry's heart, stuttering, trying to keep the pace with Louis’. But Louis’ own wasn't slowing down. It had never stopped screaming and shouting since the day Edward turned to dust. The only love of his life. The only sacred thing that had decided to leave Louis behind. And Louis had learned how to be with that reality. He was breathing it. It had made it so much easier to let Harry go, so much easier to let his hurt onto Harry. And maybe Harry was indeed born for that. To take the pain that Edward had passed onto Louis. Didn't hurt people hurt people? And Louis was broken, cruelty didn't seem fit to describe him, not when he had watched so much of what life had repaid him before he went out in the search, knocking on Martha’s door.
OR Meet the walker of the night, aka, vampire, aka Louis Tomlinson, who is dwelling between the lovers from the past and the present!
* Mountain Investigation by babyhoneyhslt / @babyhoneyheslt [T, 35k, Harry/Louis]
As a plane crash investigator, Louis has handled his fair share of strange cases, but something is different about the crash of British Airways flight BA278.
Crashed into the Brecon Beacons, over the Pen Y Fan mountain, very few survived.
One of them being the pilot, Harry Styles.
While evidence is pointing to a pilot error, something isn't adding up with Harry's story and Louis is determined to figure out what exactly happened that night and why Harry isn't all that keen to prove his own innocence.
* All I've Ever Known by @haztobegood [E, 34k, Louis/Harry]
The disruption was small, but mighty. It came hitched to the back of a black Dodge Ram pickup truck one sunny spring afternoon. With its shiny metal siding and sparkling windows, it stood out like a sore thumb. It was a Tiny House. The brand new tiny house was delivered to the empty lot at 28 Longbourn Lane, drawing a small crowd around the mailboxes. Gossip was a hot commodity in Princess Park and it had been ages since the neighbors had seen something so novel. “It is a truth universally acknowledged that anybody that wants to live in a tiny home must be lacking in both taste and sense.”
A Pride & Prejudice AU
* Springbrooke by skipper / @skipperxao3 [M, 27k+, wip, Harry/Louis]
Springbrooke is a small town, rich and filled with perfection.
At the start of his senior year, Harry, an omega with no desire to fit in, meets Zayn, an Alpha with no desire to stand out. With him, he makes a pledge to survive one year, his final year at Springbrooke High, and he’s determined to make the best of it. He struggles through new relationships along with the old, discovering the true meaning of love and friendships in ways he never expected.
To Harry, each day that passes is one day closer to breaking free and his chance to leave without looking back. Though he soon learns, in the end, it’s not leaving that matters, but what you take with you when you go.
* Let Us Be Lovers by @lululawrence [NR, 27k, Louis/Diego Luna]
Louis and Diego were only supposed to have a one night stand. When Diego's parents unexpectedly turn up the morning after, Louis finds himself getting a crash course in Mexican culture and Diego's family, and quite possibly the healing he didn't even realize he still needed.
Follow along through the entire chaotic and surprising day from the moment Louis wakes up to the time he goes to sleep. It could just be a day in the life... but it turns out to be so much more.
* Become the strangest days by louisismycat / @liminalkittyfics [M, 40k, Louis/Harry]
Harry, Louis, and Shiloh uncover small miracles during the festival of Passover and find a way toward a new future. Part 2 of Find a light
* In This World (It's Just Us) by we_are_the_same / @so-why-let-your-voice-be-tamed [T, 33k, Harry/Louis]
Louis is searching through his drawer, trying to find some lost pennies, maybe a buck or two, anything that means he doesn’t have to starve for the next week and a half, when he comes across the flyer that he’d haphazardly shoved into it the last time he had a guy over. Louis isn’t sure what had compelled him to pick it off the noticeboard when he’d first seen it, though if he’s honest with himself, that isn’t entirely true.
New study, the flyer claims, financial compensation up to £3000.
It had sounded too good to be true, at the time. Yet he’d kept the flyer, because £3000 is a lot, especially for a 22-year-old college student. Which is probably why it had been posted at a uni noticeboard in the first place, which he knows should probably give him pause, but well.
Desperate times, and all that.
Which is how Louis finds himself in a sterile looking white room, one that he figures is usually used for important - boring - meetings, sitting opposite a young looking bloke in a white lab coat.
Or: Louis participates in a scientific study, but everything is not what it seems.
* Honey on my lips by Worldsofdreamers / @defences-down [NR, 2k, Zayn/Niall]
A soft morning at home and questions they both need answers to
* Lost In Your Love by Worldsofdreamers / @defences-down [T, 1k, Niall/Zayn]
He's been having weird dreams for weeks where nothing makes sense, he chalked it up to being on the road, but what if it is more than that? Part 3 of How It Found Us
* What If We Were Penguins? by Worldsofdreamers / @defences-down [NR, 1k, Louis/Harry, Niall/Zayn/Liam]
A late night question turns into the strangest dream... or is it?
* Let Life Take Its Time by Worldsofdreamers / @defences-down [T, 1k, Harry/Louis]
Ever the doting best friend, Louis has been looking after Harry for a few days, when Harry lets a secret slip.
Can their friendship survive?
* give me all of this (that's what I do) by Worldsofdreamers / @defences-down [E, 2k, Zayn/Niall]
Tour has started up again, and now that they are back touring as a five-piece, the frustrations from the outside world begin piling up.
Luckily, they have each other. Part 4 of How It Found Us
* but i could be your obsession by staybeautiful / @harruandlou [E, 45k, Louis/Harry]
Through the windshield he could see a maintenance road up ahead. “Turn in there.”
As Harry was pulling off, Louis pulled open the glove box, dropping both their phones in the cup holders and rifling through the inside of it.
“What’s wrong?”
Finding the lube, Louis tossed it in Harry's lap. “You’re hot. It’s annoying.”
It’s the summer before Louis' senior year of college and he’s spending it getting drunk with his friends, working an internship he hates, and hooking up with Harry, the ‘straight’ frat boy he met in January. There’s only six weeks until school starts.
* Ephesians 5:21 by @wishingforloushair [E, 24k, Harry/Louis]
Louis snorts, flicking the cigarette butt onto the floor and stomping it out with the toe of his leather boot. “Do you think Jesus regretted it? Once he was up on the cross in fucking agony surrounded by criminals, I mean. Do you think when he wept he was full of regret and anger? When he realised in that moment no one gave a shit about him? The clouds didn’t part, God didn’t come down to pull him from the cross. God, his own father, left him to die. He didn’t even comfort His son while he died. Let him die all alone in fucking agony, didn’t he? Do you reckon he regretted it? Do you think he looked around at the fucked up world and realised we weren’t worth all that pain?”
College Freshman Harry has a perfectly normal relationship with God. He's gone to church his whole life, prayed when he's needed to, and God always listens. After signing up to Theology 101, for the easy A, he meets Louis Tomlinson, an upperclassman who wears leather jackets with a chunky black crucifix. Louis is also religious, so Harry of course agrees to go to the college's Bible Discussion Study Meeting. But Louis has fucked up views on religion that Harry can't possibly understand until one day, he does.
* Two, He's Kissing On You by @louislittletomlintum [E, 10k, Louis/Harry, Louis/Harry/Zayn]
“There’s no way you’re this professional,” Louis accused quietly, adjusting his grip on his cock that felt like it was throbbing now from not getting the friction it wanted.
“I’m not,” Zayn shrugged and mumbled back, still snapping away. He almost sounded bored but his words betrayed him. “Your partner is literally right there though,”
Louis instantly grinned at that, because if that was the only issue, it could be easily resolved.
“He likes to watch. Don’t you Haz?”
or the one where louis' a life model, zayn is a photographer, and harry is also there
* shameful company by @blueskiesrry [E, 40k, Harry/Louis]
Harry remains impassive as he says, “I never said we were sleeping together.”
“But you have, right?”
He sighs heavily through his nose, figuring there’s no use in hiding it. Not if it means as little as he says it does. “Yeah. Sure. We’ve slept together.”
The smug grin is evident in Pippa’s voice. “And are you seeing other people?”
“Don’t see why we can’t. It’s not like it’s anything serious.”
Pippa hums. “Interesting.”
in which louis has always had clear intentions, harry has always been a bit of a brat, and it seems like everything yet nothing has changed since they broke up a few years ago. except now they're fucking.

Hyunjin drove through the night, his mind set on the destination of the safe house. The roads were quiet and empty, everyone in their homes sleeping. He could feel the adrenaline slowly dissipate and the reality of what just occurred ran through his mind.
You both were shot at and somehow missed a rain of bullets. What are the odds that would occur? Someone in the cosmos was looking out for you two that’s for sure. Or maybe you both were meant to be together, tied by fate that even the prospect of death couldn’t tear apart.
Hyunjin peaked over at you, curled up in the passenger seat, your eyes closed as you slumber. You feel asleep about an hour into the drive, but even then you fought the heavy pull on your eyes, wanting to watch the scenery as it passed by. He was able to convince you to sleep, that you’d be able to explore from now on. That seemed to placate you as you gave him a gentle smile and curled in within yourself as you closed your eyes.
You looked beautiful in the moonlight, the rays radiating down onto your sleeping face, highlighting the occasional flutter of your eyelashes as you dreamed. The steady rise and fall of your chest soothed him, so much so he had to remind himself he was driving and to focus on the road so as to not cause an accident.
Hyunjin looked at the clock, noticing he had another hour behind the wheel. He thought of his career and how it was basically nonexistent, as the lab would never take him back after this stunt…not that he wanted to work there anymore.
At one time or another, they had their priorities straight, wanting to expand relations with neighboring planets, but that has gone out the window and been replaced with policies and procedures that were dehumanizing and immoral.
He’d have to find something else to fill his time so he could care for you as he didn’t want you to lift a finger, unless you decided you wanted to of course. He’s happy his parents aren’t around to witness his bold escapade as his father would be thoroughly disappointed and his mother too who went along with whatever his father said and did.
Hyunjin does not regret his actions however, as it’s led to good and he’s met the love of his life. He wouldn’t trade the last year for anything in the world.
You began to stir, tossing and turning your head as you frowned, your lower lip trembling. Hyunjin gently placed a hand on your thigh, rubbing soft circles to soothe you. You slowly opened your eyes and looked around confused as you took in your surroundings.
As you came to your senses, you looked down at Hyunjin’s hand and then at his face. You let out a breath and smiled. You remembered what happened now. You are free and now with Hyunjin on your way to his safe house.
“Hey,” Hyunjin said softly.
“Hi,” you responded equally as gently as you twittled your thumbs. “How much longer do we have?”
Hyunjin pondered your question as he looked at the clock, “less than an hour, we’ll be there in no time.”
You nodded and turned to look out the window, noticing the thick trees that lined the edge of the road. It seemed dark and ominous, and you tried not to think of the creatures that resided there. You wondered what the safe house looked like. Was it big, small, cozy?
You didn’t have to wonder for long as Hyunjin turned into a drive, the trees making way for a tiny cottage nestled to the forest, the trees looming high above the house. There was a little porch with a set of table and chairs but other than that it was empty.
Hyunjin parked and turned off the car and sat for a moment before turning to you.
“Here we are,” he said as he gave you a smile.
He got out of the car and made his way to your side, opening your door and helping you out. You thanked him and followed behind as he walked to the front door. He produced a small key from his pocket and placed it in the lock, turning his wrist until there was a click signaling the door was unlocked.
You both stepped into the home, darkness expanding in front of you, with a slither of moonlight filtering through a gap in the curtains. Hyunjin closed the door and locked it before flipping on the light. You blinked as your eyes adjusted, the light bright and blinding after being in the dark for so long.
Hyunjin walked further into the space, setting both of your bags down and disturbing a small of dust, the particles floating in the air before making their way back down to the ground.
“Sorry, I um…I haven’t been here in a minute,” Hyunjin sheepishly said.
You could tell he was nervous, his eyes searching your expression to see how you were taking your surroundings. The cottage truly was straight out of a fairy tale, the living room small and cozy, the couch packed with many pillows and throws. The kitchen wasn’t far behind, the appliances seeming forgotten and lonely after not being used for so long.
A charming fireplace was build into the wall and you imagined the warm, cozy fires that would burn, spreading warmth throughout the small space. There was a makeshift bedroom as well in the open concept of a house, the bed not too big, but a perfect size for you and Hyunjin to snuggle together.
“I love it,” you said with an encouraging smile.
Hyunjin chuckled as he walked over to you and wrapped his arms around your waist. “I’m so glad,” he whispered as he leaned down to press a kiss to your lips.
Soft and sweet and gentle as ever, his lips moved against yours as he pulled you closer. You felt all of your fears and reservations fade away, the thought of evil experiments and people left behind to make way for loving moments with Hyunjin. You couldn’t believe you were here and safe, far from harms way and it is all thanks to your lover.
You let out a whimper and wrapped your arms around his neck, deepening the kiss as need took over, your body aching for his soft caresses, gruff moans, and warm hands on your body. As if he could read your mind, or maybe he just needed you too, he pulled you closer and walked you back, slowly, step by step until your legs came in contact with the bed.
Hyunjin gently pushed you down, his lips glued to yours as he fumbled with your pants, shucking them down in a hurry. You could hear the sound of the zipper on his pants as he pulled it down and let out a grunt as he gripped his cock, ever hard and leaking just for you.
Hyunjin needed you, his body reacting instantly to your touch, the sounds you make, the way your body feels soft and warm beneath his finger tips. He’s hard, painfully so that when he feels the warmth from his hand he hisses at the sensitivity.
He needs you like he needs air to breathe, to feel your wet pussy engulfs him nice and snug, fitting perfectly in your little body as if you were made just for him. Because of this need, he pushes your panties to the side, feeling how wet they are from your arousal. It seems you need him just as bad.
You let out a loud moan as Hyunjin pushes in, invading your walls slowly until he reaches the hilt. He gives you no reprieve but instead begins to thrust within you, setting a fast pace, but angling his hips so he can reach deep and massage your walls just how you like it.
Your a mess, whimpering against his lips and tears falling down your face as he takes you, the pleasure so overwhelming that you don’t know what to think, what to do, so you just lay there, holding tight to the man you love while he makes love to you. You feel something wet fall onto your cheeks and realize Hyunjin is crying too, lost in the feeling of you warm walls that wrap around and hug his cock so deliciously, lost in you.
And as both of your highs build, you clutch tighter to each other, Hyunjin finding your hands and lacing his fingers with yours, your legs wrapping around his hips to pull him ever closer to you, allowing his cock to hit even deeper. The coil builds, your breath heightens, and as he squeezes your hands, you let go, your release gushing out of you as he continues to thrust into you until he finds his release too.
Hyunjin lets out a moan, one that vibrates deep within his chest, his eyes closed tight, his lips pressed tightly to yours as his cum paints your walls, filling you up with his love. He gives you everything he has until there’s nothing left and then slowly withdraws, his eyes glued to your face as you sigh at the feel of him.
He slowly drags his eyes to your pussy, glistening with your slick, your clit puffy and red, accented with his cum seeping slowly out of your entrance. He grins satisfied before getting up to grab something to wipe you down with.
“All clean,” he cooed as he finished up and lifted you gently in his arms, cradling you to his chest as he pulled back the blankets and set you down between them.
You snuggled in and waited for him to get in with you, immediately scooting to him once he was settled. You let out a content sigh as you clutched onto Hyunjin, allowing yourself to be soothed as he drifted his fingertips up and down your spine until you succumbed to sleep, exhausted from the days events. — — The next day, you awoke refreshed, having not had a good sleep like this in a while. Your nose twitched at the smell of something baking, your lips twitching as your belly growled in hunger. Opening your eyes, you were met with the sight of Hyunjin pulling out a tray of cinnamon rolls out of the oven.
You sat up, stretched and got out of bed, padding over to where Hyunjin stood, icing the treats.
“Morning love,” he said as he finished up and grabbed a plate to plate one for you.
You took the yummy treat and sat down at the table, Hyunjin joining you soon after. Taking a bite, you closed your eyes and moaned, savoring the fluffy texture of the pastry and flavor of cinnamon as it melted on your tongue.
“I take it you like them?” Hyunjin chuckled as he watched you devour the treat.
You enthusiastically nodded your head and took another bite, quickly finishing off the treat in no time. Hyunjin cleared off the table and reached a hand out to you.
“I was thinking we could stay here for a few days, let things calm down. I have the most perfect spot for us to live in,” Hyunjin said as he guided you towards the back door, “but first how about a walk?”
A walk sounded perfect, but you weren’t exactly dressed for the occasion. Your eyes traveled down your attire, taking in Hyunjin’s shirt that he slipped over your head at some point during the night and your bare legs, as you wore nothing underneath except your panties.
Hyunjin noticed your hesitation and blushed, his cheeks turning a deep red that made him look even cuter.
“Ahem, yes, you may need some pants.”
He walked over to your bags and rummaged around until he pulled out some pants, handing them to you. “Sorry, this was the smallest I had.”
You nodded and took the pants, slipping them onto your legs one by one. They weren’t too large, the waist being a little baggy yes, but otherwise fitting you okay. Hyunjin smiled and offered his hand once more, grasping your tiny hand in his and guided you to the backdoor.
Upon opening the door, a rush of fresh air hit your face, the scent of pine needles, hitting your nose. You closed your eyes briefly and inhaled the scent, reveling in how fresh the air seemed. You both walked outside, the warm sun beating down on your skin, causing you to smile.
You were reminded of the first time you experienced the sun, sitting down with Hyunjin back at the lab. However, nothing could compare to how it felt in real life, the beams heating up your skin, the rays shining down on the grass, the flowers. The birds were flying to and from, the trees fluttering as they took flight.
Hyunjin was slow in his pace, allowing you to take in your surroundings. He took you along the outskirts of the trees, your feet landing lightly over the plush grass, the feeling of the earth allowing you to feel even more connected to the occasion.
You felt at peace as Hyunjin softly hummed, his hand in yours the whole time. You really couldn’t believe you were here, free, away from all you have known and with the man who saved you from it all. You tried to banish all thoughts of your past, wanting to look ahead to your future with Hyunjin as it was just the two of you against the world. — — You stayed at the cottage for two days, trusting Hyunjin to get what he calls your forever home ready. He wouldn’t tell you anything about it, wanting it to be a surprise. All he would say is that he knew you would love it, the location perfect.
When he wasn’t out, he would spend time with you, taking you on walks, and allowing you to help him cook meals as you wanted to learn these little skills that seemed basic for living. You helped him tidy up the cottage as well, watching and then trying out what he taught you. You caught on quick as you were eager to learn, wanting to help out after all he has done for you.
At night Hyunjin would make a drink called hot chocolate and make a fire, the warmth filling in the whole house as the nights would get chilly. You loved the chocolatey drink, the rich but sweet flavor going down easy as you took sip after sip. Hyunjin would tell you stories of his childhood and how he began to work in the lab as you wanted to know more about him.
Your heart ached as you heard how strict his family was, his father never present due to his work and how his mother would ignore him, just going along with whatever her husband said. Despite his upbringing, it was curious how he wanted to work in the same place that took away the attention of his parents.
However, he went on to explain he thought he could make a difference for those who lived in the lab, learn more about your people and thoroughly help your peers assimilate into life here on earth. You watch as he weeps at what he thinks is failure, not feeling like he made a difference at all.
You become angry at his statement, reaching out to wipe his tears away before holding his head in your hands so he could look into your eyes.
“Don’t say that,” you chastised, holding his gaze as more tears developed in his eyes. “You did make a difference, you helped me learn so much, allowed me to feel like I actually mattered in what was a miserable life. You saved me. You gave me a chance. So don’t for a second think your time spent there was a waste.”
Hyunjin sat silently as he regarded your words, more tears escaping and sliding down his cheeks. He loves you so much. He loves your kind heart, your eagerness and willing to learn. He loves how you pick him up when he’s not at his best, even though it should be the opposite. Hyunjin feels his heart rate increase, as his face transitions to a look of love.
You are the reason he woke up each morning and went to work in that miserable place. The reason why he took such risks to get to this point. He doesn’t regret it all, knowing he would do it again and again.
“I love you,” he whispered as you continued to gently hold his face, your thumb brushing gently against his cheek.
“And I love you,” you responded, smiling gently as you leaned forward to kiss him, your lips melting into his.
Hyunjin groaned before pushing you down, making quick work of both of your clothes. He was inside you within seconds, rocking his hips into yours as you both let out breathy moans. There was nothing slow about his movements as he fucked you deep but fast, wanting to get you both to your highs as fast as possible.
He needed you, always needing you, his eyes roaming your face, your breasts, his eyes closing as you clenched around him. He leaned back, his focus glued to his cock sliding in and out of your pussy, your slick coating his length aiding in the glide. He slipped his finger to your clit, rubbing sloppy circles on the bud, his cock twitching as he listened to your whines as he pleasured you.
He increased the speed of his thrusts while pressing harder against your bundle of nerves, watching the expressions you made as your orgasm built, harder, faster until the band snapped and you arched your back, releasing all over him, moving your hips in tune with his strokes to ride out your high.
“Ahh…that’s it love, let go all over me,” Hyunjin breathed as he gave you a few more thrusts before sliding into the hilt and stilling, connecting his lips to yours as he released within you.
“Hyunjin!” You whimpered as you wiggled beneath him, the feel of his cum inside you so nice.
“Yes love?” Hyunjin cooed as he lazily rocked his hips into yours, riding out the last of his high.
“I love you, I love you, I love you,” you chanted as he pressed kiss after kiss to your lips, your cheeks, your forehead, the tears slowly falling down your face.
“I love you so much,” he responded equally as affected, as he gently rested his body on top of yours.
— — The day finally came when Hyunjin said it’s time to go, to go to the forever home that he picked out for you two. He packed up the little belongings you both had and loaded them into the car. You followed behind him, grinning at the enthusiasm that was leaking out of him.
“Come on love!” He shouted as he opened the passenger door, beckoning you forward.
You slid in and he shut the door and round the car. Once you both were settled, he drove away, the cottage getting smaller in the back window. You’d miss the little hideaway, how secluded it was and relaxing. You’re sure Hyunjin would take you back here one day if you asked.
Your eyes were glued out of the window as the scenery slowly changed from thick, dense forest to more sparse trees littering the side of the road. The forest turned into the country side, white picket fences littering both sides of the road with various farm animals behind them.
You were curious as to where you were going, where he decided for you two to settle, but your answer was soon answered as a little house came into view. It was painted in white, with little brown doors and windows and a large wrap around porch perfect for spending many a mornings.
Hyunjin pulled off into the drive, the car making its way over the gravel road. As he pulled up to the front of the house, he stopped the car and got out, quickly walking to your side and opening the door.
“Welcome home,” Hyunjin murmured as he helped you to the house.
You loved it. Loved how open it was, nature all around, the fresh air that you breathed into your lungs with each breath.
As you walked into the house, you were taken away by its beauty and simplicity, soft hues of beige and baby blue outfitting the rooms. The windows were open, the curtains blowing in the wind as fresh air filtered the space.
“It’s perfect!” You gushed as you walked around the home, peering into the simple bedroom, the kitchen, and even the little office space Hyunjin had put in.
You gasped as you took in the built in bookshelves, with hundreds of books placed neatly on the shelves, waiting to be picked up and opened to take you to another world. You were smiling from ear to ear as you rushed over to run your fingertips over the spines, taking in various titles that were sure to be interesting.
“Just a little something for you love. But there’s one more surprise.”
You turned to look at Hyunjin in curiosity. “A surprise?”
“Mmhmm,” he said as he reached out for your hand. “Close your eyes.”
Your eyes fluttered shut and you found yourself being guided carefully throughout the house until you must have reached the door. You could hear the door click and a brush of air hit your face. Hyunjin continued to guide you outdoors, making sure to let you know when to carefully step down, or what was ahead in general.
Finally, you stopped moving, and Hyunjin positioned you slightly.
“Okay love, open your eyes.”
Your eyes snapped open and you squinted briefly as they adjusted to the bright light, but as you took in what was in front of you, you let out a gasp, your hands flying to cover your mouth in shock.
Rows and rows of beautiful purple flowers swayed in the wind, the soft scent it let off was comforting. You felt your eyes tear up at the gesture, realizing why Hyunjin thought this house was perfect for you. You stared out at the lavender, mesmerized as they gently moved to and fro under the warm sunlight.
“I told you I’d take you one day to see them, and what better way then to have a lavender field in your backyard,” Hyunjin said as he squeezed your hand in his.
You were speechless, not sure what to say or do as you gazed at the flowers that you spent so many hours painting and dreaming of. The flowers that offered you a moment of peace and serenity in your unfair life that you lived since you could remember. The moment was even better though because Hyunjin is by your side, experiencing this beautiful moment with you.
“Hyun, I love it!” You cried as you wrapped your arms around him, hugging him close to your body. “Thank you so much for this,” you whispered as you buried your face in his chest.
You couldn’t believe the turn of events, how you went from being a lab experiment, just another number in the system, taken from your home planet to loved and cared for by the love of your life. You were free and that was a word you could never think or say enough.
You let go of Hyunjin, grasped his hand in yours once more, and turned to face the field of lavender. Yes, this was perfect, your life was good.
You were free.

You've ordered: a slice of pink velvet cake! enjoy!

"We melt this love and recreate it as we imagine it~"
Paul Atreides x reader | word count: 654 words
Summary: what better way to destress than a comforting bath with your lover! 🫧
Warnings: none!
Note: here's a fluffy paul fic since i haven't written for him in a while. happy valentine's day!💕
It was yet another eventful and exhausting day for the future duke of House Atreides, Paul Atreides. Juggling training, meetings with his father and important dignitaries from other houses, and his mother's constant pushing for him to practice using "The Voice", the poor boy was worn out.
But, of course upon seeing you slip into his room quickly after he entered, it was as if a surge of life filled him. Feeling your arms encircling him as you hugged him from behind made his heart swell with a familiar warmth.
"How was your day?" you hummed, leaning up to press a light kiss to the back of his neck. Paul let out a satisfied mumble, placing his hands on top of your own.
"Exhausting." he murmured, his answer evident in his voice. You gave his waist a gentle squeeze before resting your chin on his shoulder.
"Sorry. Want me to get the servants to draw you a bath?" you asked, your warm breath tickling his neck a bit.
"Only if you'll join me." That brought a smile to your lips, making you lean over and press a kiss to Paul's cheek, mumbling a quick "Of course."
The two of you now stood in Paul's bathroom, watching as the large marble tub filled with warm water. You glanced over at the glass container filled with various bath soap tabs and salts. You told the servant that stood nearby your favorite scent, watching as they snapped off a few pieces of the soap tab, taking a handful of bath salts, and tossing them into the warm water.
Soon, bubbles filled the tub and a warm steam filled the room. You gave the servant a nod, letting them know they could take their leave. The two of you got undressed, Paul getting into the tub first. You felt your heart warm as he let out a sigh of relief, the stressors of his busy day melting away.
"Come." he whispered, making a space for you to sit between his legs. You gripped the edge of the tub, carefully getting inside and lowering yourself into Paul's lap.
You let out a sigh similar to Paul's, leaning against him so your back pressed to his chest. Paul's arms encircled your waist, pulling you closer to him, his chin resting on your shoulder as he gave your neck an affectionate kiss.
"This feels wonderful." you mumbled, lazily scooping up some water and letting it slip between your fingers. You sunk deeper into the pool of warmth and bubbles, your eyes fluttering shut for a moment.
"Want me to wash you?" Paul asked in a hushed whisper, a smile creeping onto your lips as you turned your head to face him.
"Only if I get to wash you after." Paul raised an eyebrow, an amused chuckle leaving his lips. How could he say no to you? "I guess I'll allow it." he teased, kissing your nose.
It was more so tickling than it was washing. Paul's fingers danced over your skin with the most delicate touch, making goosebumps prickle over you. You couldn't help but laugh each time he'd lean his head into the crook of your neck to press yet another kiss to your throat or shoulder. You'd turn around and poke him in his sides almost relentlessly, the young duke quickly losing his composure.
The sound of your shared laughter made the whole thing rather lively and heartwarming, the water beginning to cool, the bubbles in your hair and on your skin, the feeling of your shared embrace.
Paul grabbed your hands, intertwining your fingers together and tugging you closer to him. You couldn't even get a word out before he stopped your lips with his own. The two of you smiled into the kiss, the moment feeling as if it were specifically crafted for just the two of you.
All of it made tonight that much more pleasant.🫧

so, new pinned info about this one.
Krill | She/Her | ADHD
more explanation below:
i've thought for a while about how I wanted this to go, if I should post anything about it at all, but a benefit of properly dosed ADHD medication is overthinking flutters away as a pathetic mosquito. on my ADHD mouse bites, this has been brewing for the better part of five years in the back of my mind, but only in the last year or so did it become one of the only things I could focus on thanks to adhd meds. so yes, i am trans. what's interesting is that in the small window i've started really accepted this and began making changes (a month or so), i've felt more happy than I have in years. however, not telling anyone and being referred to as a man was grating (which is no one's fault but my own), so I figured i'd solve the problem by finally making this post. feel free to ask any questions, i have plenty of my own that i'll have to find answers to in the near future. anyways, thanks if you've read this far, and thanks for existing.
now to find that sweet sweet E potion.... (started as of 5/22/2025 big win)

Davrin Week 2025 - Ficlet Series
So, my final offering for @datvcompanionweeks #davrinweek2025 began, partially, as joking between me and some of the other mods ( @thedissonantverses and @basedonconjecture are some of my favorite bad influences) after I posted Rook’s notes on Davrin. It became this, which is outside my “canon” universe, but could I see it happen in AU soooooo easily.
(The perils of being a multi-shipper whose primary Rook is a bisexual disaster that spent the recruitment phase going: but how are ALL OF THEM hot?!)
So, uh, here we go…
Day Seven: Free Day
“Alright, I think anymore of thissss would be a mistake,” Rook laughed as he set down his drink. Davrin couldn’t help but smirk as the leader of their little band of experts and lost causes haphazardly tried to gather up the paperwork he’d abandoned when Davrin and Lucanis had offered him his first drink of the evening.
That had been hours ago, now, and Lucanis had long since begged off. To the pantry. A choice that still made absolutely no sense to Davrin, regardless of choke points and exits.
Surely one of the fearsome Crows should be able to fend off an attacker in a room that didn’t smell like onions.
But maybe that was the bourbon talking. The three men had enjoyed their fair share of it, and the light of the fireplace to his eyes was softer than usual, and Rook was pleasantly blurred around the edges.
There was something comfortable about Rook, and Davrin didn’t take it for granted. He could, and would, work with anyone as needed; a Warden didn’t always get to choose his siblings in arms. So he hadn’t expected the easy camaraderie he’d discovered at tbe Lighthouse, or the way it warmed him from the inside out when the same man who led them almost recklessly ever forward finished his fourth drink of the night and became a clinging vine. Warmth, the smell of citrus and pine bath oils, and lean muscle surrounding his usual victim, Davrin himself.
As Rook scooped his work back into a single stack, or tried to, several pages fluttered to the floor. The clumsiness — off the battlefield and without adrenaline to focus him — wasn’t surprising, even if Rook hadn’t been drinking. In truth, none of them was all that far gone; Davrin for his part acutely aware that things changed on a moment’s notice, and emergencies wouldn’t wait for them to sober up.
Not to mention dealing with Assan while fall-down drunk seemed like a recipe for disaster.
Davrin knelt to pick up the pages while Rook tried to get the edges of his stack even, seemingly oblivious to the loss. A map of the Hossberg Wetlands, hand-drawn seemingly by the man in charge. Notes on observed phenomenon involving the Blight.
And a page labeled Davrin.
“Keeping notes on me, Rook?” He teased, turning it so it would be easier to read. He wasn’t sure what he’d expected the other man’s response to be but the flush that rose up his neck to settle in cheeks already pink from alcohol was interesting.
And intriguing. Davrin smelled citrus and pine almost against his will.
Disturbingly good at wearing a half-open shirt, was written in precise Trade script, but had been crossed out. He smirked and couldn’t help preening a little, as though a proud griffon himself.
Davrin wasn’t unaware of his appearance or its effects; false modesty would’ve been just that, false. “Got a thing for me, Rook?” He half-joked, and Rook’s blush, far from fading, seemed to intensify. “Like my shirts?”
Rook muttered something under his breath, and Davrin grinned. “What was that?” He needled.
Rook’s eyes narrowed on him. “Hey, you wanna show off, it’s not my fault if I notice.”
Davrin set the papers on top of the pile, stepping into Rook’s space and enjoying the way his eyes widened and his breath sped up. The sweet scent of bourbon mixed in with Rook’s bath oils and the ink he’d been working with earlier, and Davrin’s pulse beat harder in response.
Rook was an attractive guy, or he could be. And there was no future there — Davrin still had an arch demon to kill, and Rook was more likely than any of them to end up a sacrifice to the good of Thedas, even leaving aside that Davrin doubted either was emotionally capable at the moment of supporting any relationship beyond the ones they already had — but that didn’t mean attraction didn’t exist. Davrin had been a Warden long enough to know that sometimes you just needed the touch of another person, that rush of physicality and lust, to get through. Even if it never went beyond that.
Rook bit his lower lip, seemingly unconsciously, and something in Davrin’s chest burned.
He set a hand on Rook’s shoulder, guiding him back towards the stone beside the fireplace, and smirked at how Rook let him.
In the field, Rook took charge as easily as he breathed. And it made the experience of his easy acquiescence all the more powerful as Davrin pinned him against the wall.
“What do you notice now?” He asked, surprised at the rough edges of his own voice. Rook’s pupils had blown wide, only the thinning ring of hazel surrounding black, as his breath came fast.
“You’re a lot stronger than the last guy I did this with.”
“Did what—” Davrin didn’t get to finish his knowing question before Rook’s lips met his. Calloused fingertips rested on the back of Davrin’s neck, and sparks seemed to arc from where they touched. Rook’s kiss was curious, an exploration, but not tentative as he opened Davrin’s mouth with his own and slid down the stone wall to bring their height into better alignment.
Rook may not have worn his clothes the way Davrin did — why hide what you were proud of — but Davrin could feel his lean muscle hard against him through the soft linen of his tunic. Rook moaned softly as Davrin pressed in closer, effectively pinning him in place, and Davrin bit Rooks lower lip before swallowing the needy sound.
Later, Davrin wouldn’t be able to remember how long they stayed there, exchanging heated kisses and swallowing noises that were beautifully obscene in deference to the public location. He wouldn’t be able to say with certainty that they wouldn’t have further without that natural social barrier, either.
When they separated, Rook looked debauched. A pretty flush ran down his neck, disappearing beneath the half-open top of his tunic. The soft curls at the top of his head were visibly mussed, and his lips red and kiss-swollen. Davrin knew his was no less effect, as his chest heaved and his pulse pounded in his ears.
“Not sure how to add that to the notes,” Rook joked breathlessly.
“Make sure they’re complimentary. We all know Neve’s gonna read them,” Davrin said, and Rook snorted.
“I’ll see what I can do.”

Logos and Pathos Valentine's Day Special
TOS! Spock x Reader
Valentine's Day Special 2025
(Y/N) and Spock walked through the market of Celia, looking at all the colorful clothing, the smell of spices in the air, and the shouts of sellers. The sun shone overhead, and (Y/N) smiled happily. With their arm looped through Spock’s, they were overjoyed to be back on their home planet with their family and their love. It was perfect. (Y/N) even got a chance to change out of their uniform into traditional Celian garments, which were a long, loose white outfit with a shawl that fluttered in the wind. Spock had changed, too, though he wore simpler robes that were closer to Vulcan clothing. Still, it was a nice, relaxing day to have with their husband as a married couple.
“What should we start with? A drink, food, a museum?” said (Y/N).
“Perhaps a museum and then lunch afterwards?” said Spock.
“Good idea,” said (Y/N). “How about a history museum? I think you’d like those.”
“I am interested in your planet’s history. There is much that mirrors Vulcan, though you took a different direction with your future,” said Spock.
“It’s funny how people find different solutions for the same problems,” said (Y/N). They smiled at him. “But at least we’re all doing fine now. That’s what matters.”
“And you know I respect your planet’s culture as well as my own, even if it is different,” said Spock. “I appreciate different cultures as they add to our ability to find solutions to every issue from unique perspectives.”
“Spock, you are the last person I would think would disrespect my culture, even if people don’t understand that Vulcans, who control their emotions, and Celians, who have empathy, can get along perfectly well,” said (Y/N). They squeezed his arm. “But you’re sweet for reasserting it.”
Spock inclined his head in acknowledgement. “I simply wish for you to know I respect you, T’hy’la.”
“You’re the most respectful man I know, Spock,” said (Y/N). “Thank you.”
“Though I must admit, even though I appreciate your empathic abilities as it allows you insights for your work, when you become…efficient, it is quite impressive,” said Spock.
Now that was high praise from Spock, and (Y/N) grinned. “And I really like when you communicate your thoughts in a way everyone, not just the most intelligent, can understand. You’re smart, but you know how to talk to people well.”
“I’ve been told I’m cold and awkward,” said Spock.
(Y/N) waved their free hand. “Maybe to some, but not to me. People just have to know you to read you. Friends will do that.”
“You are more than a friend,” said Spock.
(Y/N) winked and smiled. “Don’t you think that’s why I can read you so well? I paid attention because I really like you.”
Spock smiled slightly. That warmed his heart more than he could say.

“Those were relics from before empathy became widespread in Celia,” rambled (Y/N) as they led Spock through the museum. “Even then, we liked bronze-like metals and gold, but those aren’t exactly what our materials are. Similar qualities and color, though.”
“Hand-crafted items seem to feature in the modern-day, too,” said Spock.
(Y/N) nodded. “We have industrialized, of course, but we still love hand-making things we use a lot. Often, older generations teach us, so that way many of our belongings are from family and friends. It reminds and affirms us of our connections to others.”
“The sense of community on Celia is quite important,” said Spock. “It’s admirable how you strive to learn from the past.”
“It’s the only way forward,” agreed (Y/N). “Do Vulcans act similarly?”
Spock considered as they continued walking. “We keep detailed records of all our discoveries, our observations, our histories. We always want our information to remain close to us so we can understand where we’ve come from.”
“Two sides of the same coin,” said (Y/N), smiling.
“As the humans say, yes,” said Spock.
The couple arrived in a hall of portraits, and (Y/N) smiled. They led Spock to one in a golden frame. It was a woman with long, golden-auburn hair. She smiled in a ray of sunshine, eyes bright and gold. A loose white dress—Grecian, as humans would describe—hung from her. She looked powerful, yes, but more importantly kind.
“This is Andromeda,” said (Y/N). “She was the first Celian with empathic abilities. She led us to a peaceful future.”
“She reminds me of you,” said Spock. He looked at (Y/N). “You were awarded the Crown of Radiance for displaying her values.”
“I just try to help people,” said (Y/N).
“And that is what makes you valuable as an officer, friend, spouse, and person,” said Spock.
(Y/N) looked at him with so much emotion that Spock didn’t need the marriage bond to see their love for him. He thought the world of (Y/N). They had grown up with expectations and assumptions due to their looks and their abilities, but Spock only ever saw who they were as a person. He let them decide who they were in the world and respected it.
“I’m so luck to be married to you,” said (Y/N), gazing at Spock. “I love you, Spock.”
Spock smiled ever-so-slightly. “I love you, too, T’hy’la.”

Locked away in an assisted care facility in New York, stripped of her voice, her freedom, and maybe even her future. They’ve tried to silence her—not just with legal chains, but with poison slipped into her food, her water, her air.
Yet somehow, against all odds, she’s pulled through—clinging to life and the explosive truth she carries.
Why? Because Wendy knows things—things so dangerous, so damning, that the elite would rather see her dead than let her speak.
Buckle up, because we’re about to plunge into the shadows of Hollywood, the corridors of power, and a conspiracy that’s fighting to bury her—and the secrets she holds—six feet under.
Before we dive in, subscribe to the channel on Rumble if you haven’t already, and join the People’s Voice Locals community to support the channel and be part of our incredible community of truthseekers.
Let’s set the scene. March 10, 2025. Wendy Williams—once the no-filter firebrand of The Wendy Williams Show—is a ghost. Her social media? Silent. Her voice? Gone. Her empire? Dismantled.
Officially, she’s in an assisted living facility in Manhattan under a guardianship that’s been shrouded in mystery since 2022.
But here’s where it gets wild. Earlier this week, a crumpled note fluttered down from a window in that facility, scrawled in shaky handwriting: ‘Help! Wendy!!’
A stranger stumbled across her note, scribbled in desperation, and dialed for help. Within hours, Wendy was rushed to a hospital—lights flashing, urgency crackling in the air.
And she needed it, bad. Because according to her team, someone—some shadowy figure tied to the elite—had slipped into the chaos, hell-bent on finishing her off. Poison, they say. A quiet, ruthless move to silence her for good.
The complicit media spun it as a health scare, but everybody close to Wendy knows the truth.

PokeAsk Magi Retreat 2025 Exit Post
As the sun rose above the horizon, Shaymes realized that the night had passed far more quickly than he would have liked. As Caspar, Balthazar, and Melchior danced away, he too would now have to depart from the isle to resume his journey and duties once again.
Taking flight into the air, Shaymes decided to circle the island once more, leaving behind a message to all the attendees. "Travelers near and far, be safe and take heart as you depart on your journeys home. Times both good and bad await us as we end our sojourn on this wonderful island. The future intends to test us all, but I know each of you has the strength to carry on through the rest of this year. I believe in each and every one of you, and I hope to bask in presences again next year. Most of all..."
"Blessings be upon you, until I am able to renew them when next we meet." With a flutter of his wings and a flash of light, the Angel Shaymin vanished from sight, returning from whence he came.
