first of main recommendation 4ever is flatsound I KNOW he has popular stuff but he gets me like no one else my bff since i was like 13. he gets a bit overbearing and a bit like. idk too much occasionally buttttt i pgive him a pass. generally id recommend anything from his 2011 album "i clung to you hoping we'd both drown", GOOD SHIT on there but scotland i wish you had stayed/last minute cycle/four songs for losing you/if we could just pretend/losing intrerest and the trust i had in you r all reallly good. heat death, eight months, computer wound, soap, prayer beads, syrup, old lumina, i lost control, meow meow meow, last minute cycle, im so concerned about the ending that i dont even know the plot, cute stuff like that. theres probably more but thats just off the top of my head. idek. he has some good instrumental albums too :)

speaking of if u like instrumental stuff -> BUCKETHEAD. HIII. hes so funny i love him my fav album by him is colma my mom and dad used to play it in the car all the time and it still makes me cry. i wouldnt say his stuff is lifechanging but i use it for bg drawing noise all the time and its sweet stuff + hes really really fun to watch live and play. cool guy.

(this is for when you watch the new ep of 2521) when you realize yijin jokingly saying he was rooting for yurim hurt heedo a bit lowkey cause he and the coach are her ONLY real supporters and hearing him say that to her.. while the world was supporting yurim... even as a joke :( thats how lacking of support she has since her dad and it breaks my heart. the irony of the coach and heedo being closer than her and her mom, and the coach's grudge against heedo's mom is probably what heedo is feeling rn. the coach thought they were friends but her mom put her job over that relationship, just as she's doing with heedo. i get its her job but she hasn't had faith in heedo, while the coach put hers all into her cause she believed in her. and the way yijin just wants heedo to not face the whole thing all the while helping paint the situation in a different light than everyone else. i honestly dont know how her and yurim become 'friends' at this point cause i could not. you ruined her moment by making it about you and that was shitty sportsmanship. when heedo was explaining to yijin how the fencers know :( like coach said before, she should've enjoyed that moment and yurim shouldn't felt the despair of it. not paint her accomplishment as a bad call. that was so ugly *sigh* what an emotional episode for those who don't have that support system. I FELT THAT. when strangers say what you need to hear the most instead the people closest to you..

Ok, I have a major bone to pick with this show and it is that it introduced her father just to make us suffer!! To really feel Heedo's loneliness in how she had a support system and how it was taken away from her, and how she started whiffing right after his death as a way of subconsciously expressing her grief, and how for all these years of defeat, she hasn't allowed herself to sink into the abyss of failure, but rather choose to embrace the joy she has of the sport, to--in a way--cling onto the last scrap of support and happiness she felt from her father, and turn that into her fuel and ambition to keep going. Which also makes extra painful to see how unsupportive her mother is to her all the time. Like, even when she's proud of Heedo, she never expresses it to her face, she only levies criticisms at her, just like the rest of the world, so Heedo has had to use the words of her father from 8 years ago - literally the last kind words of encouragement she felt from the sport was 8 years ago! - as a stand-in for every piece of moral support she's been missing as someone forced to be reliant only on herself.

As far as Yijin saying he's supporting Yurim is concerned - he really did mean it as a joke. We all know how much he supports Heedo and relies on her indomitable spirit as a source of inspiration. But sometimes he tends to think of her a little bit...two-dimensionally? I don't mean that he doesn't see her as a full person, but rather that since he uses her as inspiration for his own joy (and as a distraction from his own turmoil) so much, that sometimes he can forget she also has her own world of turmoil inside herself as well. He wanted to lighten the mood, just like she has lightened the mood for him so often. Ever noticed the only times we see him smile, like really smile of his own accord are because of her? The comic book incident, the running after the fountain incident, the rainshower in the car, the meeting of her on the street, the chocolate sauce on her face, all incidents where he felt free of obligation and the outside world bearing down on him enough to just live in the moment and smile and laugh with her. But yeah, her real time flare of hurt at that moment was understandable, even though he really was doing the most to support her, what with the abandoning his boss' orders (thrice!!) for her.

This answer is already getting long, so I won't go into too much detail about Yurim, but I don't hate her. She's just a girl under an immense amount of pressure (both external and internal) who has toiled and suffered a lot to get to her position, and in the moment she felt it all come crumbling down and was trying to hold onto any part she could. Did she do it with sportsmanship? Not at all, but she isn't an evil villain, she's just someone as much in her feelings as Heedo is, and she had no idea at the time how big of an impact her feelings of injustice would influence beyond the piste and turn into the major scandal that it did.
