I can’t see a possible reality where they are dating. Puting just one label on their relationship, no matter how accurate the label might be, feels like I’m erasing years of experiences between them. Saying they are one definitive thing is removing the contradicting nature of both of their beings, it’s removing the choice they both have. They aren’t a couple, they aren’t a pair, they aren’t a duo, they aren’t enemies or lovers. They may act in ways we perceive as platonic or romantic, and to them maybe they are those things, but those are just the surface layer of thread that covers a knotted twine ball. Soulmates? Attached at the hip? Stuck? trapped? Dependent? Married? Maybe their own definitions contradict each other, maybe they’re complements. They are something not even I know, and to be honest it’s not information that’s entitled to anyone but themselves, if they even choose to share it with one another.

someone shared some fanart a few weeks back on the sub with some designs for 3 different daughters of kamijou (one for kamidex, one for kamikoto, and one for kamisaki respectively) and it inspired me to think about some ideas of children between kamijou and accel and I don't have any solid designs yet, but I've decided that I like the idea of 2 children and I have names for them lol.

the oldest is a son around 16/17, and his first name is kei. I picked it for thematic reasons as depending on the kanji used it can mean either "hope, flourish" or "demon, corrupted".

the 2nd younger one is a daughter and she's somewhere in the 8-10 range, and I picked tomoko "smart, princess" to keep the t theme going from between kamijou and touya.

Ok so I've been having a sexuality crisis now that i got a boyfriend and got to experience stuff with a guy. I thought about it a lot and i reached the conclusion that a) i like him platonically, and b) I'm probably a lesbian. and i was super sure about it today but i saw the quiet place movie a few hours ago and i love male characters that are so wet and pathetic - but like, in a cat kinda way?? Like i would kiss them but in the same sense i would kiss my cat for being cute. Not in a particularly romantic sense but i do think that they're very cute?

Anyway i was thinking that and being like shit maybe im not actually gay if i like these male characters - i obviously like their personalities and shiet but the thing that makes me really like em is their look

By look i mean wet and pathetic, bloodied or fucked up in some sense, tired and nerdy looking (eric from quiet place, newt from pacific rim,etc) and then i has a small thought non thought? Like i thought it but it caught me by surprise, because for a second i was like "i wish i was him" and the thing is im non binary in the sense that i dont percieve my gender - HAVE I JUST WANTED TO LOOK LIKE THEM THIS WHOLE TIME ARE YOU KIDDING ME? Second was in elementary and we were friends. I dont remember liking him before i asked who he liked to make conversation but i remember i thought he implied he liked me and i liked him from there on (which was like two hours lol) and later when he admited it was another girl i felt heartbroken but i immediately got over it lmao.

And last was in high school - we were becoming fast friends and i liked him a lot, but when i thought about like kissing him and stuff i got this nervous feeling like it was wrong somehow. Also i chose a guy to like in middle school but i dont count that one.

To me, all these seem very shallow? But i dont know if thats normal or if im remembering wrong or remembering what i want to remember or what.

But if i think ab it, i could never have sex with them i think. And this applies to all men ive met too - If i imagine it the whole thing feels cold,,,like detached? Like i guess it'd be fine and we would be closer as a result (like, to bond?) But i dont think it'd be particularly fun?

Like I'm struggling to think of any i really really like besides Grace from ready or not and Pearl from pearl (and Maxine from x and Amber from Scream - the blood thing and that they can kill is cool ngl) and while I've thought about a friend like "i wish we could be together forever" type of thing, ive never had a crush on a girl -

But if i think about sex, if i picture it with a girl, it seems warm. Like it'd be very peaceful and like joyful? Like it would be fun. But its similar to when i think of it with men: it has no passion? Is that wrong? Am i not supposed to be passionate about it?

okay before I continue I wanna note that 1) I know nothing about the authors on this list and am recommending the books only, 2) some of these I haven’t even read yet, ill put * next to the ones I HAVE read, and 3) its been a good few years since ive read some of these so bear with me!

Julie Ann Peters is a lesbian author who has written books like Luna ( known for being the first book about a trans woman published by a mainstream publisher). *Rage (a wlw ab/usive relationship that ends in a good way, VERY GRAPHIC in some scenes so I warn against it if the topic hits you hard), and *Define Normal (I own this one and it’s not explicitly wlw but its still pretty good). 

I haven’t read anything else by Emily Danforth, but *The Miseducation of Cameron Post is so good!!! There was a movie made for it recently and while I haven’t seen it yet I’m excited to. It’s a happy ending, from what I remember!

Echo After Echo by Amy Rose Capetta seems so cute! It’s about a girl who gets crush on a girl during their theater class, and it’s high on my lists of to-reads.

Fun Home by Alison Bechdel, creator of the Bechdel-Wallace Test and lesbian. Must I say more.

*Down to the Bone by Mayra Lazara Dole… This was THE FIRST WLW BOOK I read. It’s about a girl who gets kicked out of her house, blah blah all that stuff, and it explores the Cuban gay community in Miami at the time I think! A good read.

Tell Me Again How A Crush Should Feel by Sara Farizan looks great as well! It’s about a girl from a Muslim family struggling with her feelings, from what I see from the reviews it’s more of a coming-of-age tale with a more middle school mindset in the MC. The representation is apparently spot on too!

Far From You by Tess Sharp looks AMAZING? A bisexual lead with not a lot of relationship love exactly, but more of a murder mystery deal. The reviews are loving it, so maybe I might too.

*Symptoms of Being Human by Jeff Garvin is GREAT! No, this is not reaaally about wlw, but it’s a good representation of a genderfluid person and you never know the main character’s biological sex, which was handled and done very well. I WANT TO NOTE! HOWEVER! THIS IS SPOILERS BUT ITS VERY IMPORTANT! There is a scene, which I think was quick but still terrible, where the MC is s/xually assaulted. It’s bad, I hated it, and it was completely unexpected. I don’t recommend this is you are troubled by that, since I don’t remember exactly when or where it happens. :(

Crush by Carrie Mack is a short story about a girl who gets a crush on a girl! From what the reviews say, it’s soft, sweet, and a cliché but nice story.

…. okay, this next one is iffy and it’s up next on my reading list but it seems….. …….. alright, maybe… Ramona Blue is, summarized, about a girl who identifies as a lesbian but falls in love with a guy. From the reviews, it seems this is handled well. On the link, a review by “Alex” that starts with “I HAVE ACTUALLY READ THIS BOOK” has quotes from it and has good points, so I’m going to hesitantly put this down too.. I’ll talk about it again once I’ve read it.

The Space Between by Michelle Teichman seems fun!!!! A ‘popular’ girl gets a crush on a loner girl, pining, all that stuff. It looks to be alright, hopefully it is!

My Mixed-Up Berry Blue Summer by Jennifer Gennari is about a little girl and how she grows with two moms! This is… more of a book for middle-schoolers, but if you’re okay with that or know a young kid who can relate to this, try it out with them.

okay uh,, this became more of a book hunt for interesting and good sounding wlw/lgbt stories… but I had a lot of fun putting this list together. one of my guilty pleasures is YA fiction, and I never talk about it a lot so this was a nice outlet. if its wanted, I could try to put a mlm or just a general YA list together too. its really late so im gonna stop looking these up. ty for asking!

i'm a little awkward guy LMFAO, i'm usually in the background a lot 💔💔 i get nervous when all the attention is on me irl (online i love it icl) and i'm really oblivious (i thought all my trauma was normal).. i've got mommy AND daddy issues but i've got an okay relationship with both of them?? i listen to a plethora of genres LMAO, atm my favourites are metal an classical music (i heart kpop though, esp skz). i've watched all of those silly sigma male movies like american psycho and fight club, i loved both of them!! i like shows like the walking dead, the last of us , game of thrones, and house of the dragon as well. i've got about 108 books, and my american psycho era went so bad i even bought the book LMAO. i'm currently getting into classic books as well!! currently reading crime and punishment by fyodor dostoevsky. ALSO, one of my favourite things i wear daily are my glasses cos they've got square rims!! i watch anime, my favourites atm is attack on titan and devilman crybaby. i think i'm a faily monotone person? i don't think i can express excitement very well even if i wanted to 😭😭 i have horrible memory, i lose my phone easily but i find it pretty easily. i'm desentizised to a lot of things on the internet, say a lot of out of pocket stuff, and i've considered therapy a lot these past few weeks. i leave people on delivered (i respond to close friends dw), the longest so far is a year. at the moment my favourite movies are lord of the rings + the hobbit (all movies), american psycho, fight club, MIDSOMMAR!!!, batman 2022 and joker 2019. i bawl my eyes out when im angry, i'm a picky eater, i've got 0 game and the humour of a 13 year old boy, i am obsessed with hannibal (i havent even watched the show), ozzy osbourne, mads mikkelsen, pedro pascal, and tlou. This might seem really bitchy but favourite moments when im hanging out w friends is when we talk absolute shit LMFAO it's always so entertaining. I feel musicin my body and it's so good!! my favourite bands/artists are kittie, deftones, slipknot, black sabbath, metallica, the smiths, LADY GAGA, arctic monkeys, tyler the creator, lana del rey, RAMMSTEIN, korn, mortician, cannibal corpse, the smashing pumpkins, queen, DAVID BOWIE, mötley crüe, and megadeth!! i dont care what my family has to say about me LMAO, i aim to be more successful than them!!!
