Watched Black Mirror for the first time in my life. Why you might ask? Cuz I saw Anthony Mackie being gay and frankly that is my religion. So I settled in and watched Striking Vipers and got a face full of Mackie ass and a bunch of homoerotic vr e-sex. God blessed.

Went to see what folks had to say about the kissing in the rain scene and saw a bunch of cishets saying that Karl and Danny were still STRAIGHT and had NO FEELINGS?!?! Please. That was a scene taken directly from the DL repressed feeling play book.

Karl thought Danny was going to say he felt nothing so he said he didnt feel a thing. This resulted in Danny looking confused and hurt and him replying back he also didnt feel a thing (cuz why would you admit feelings to someone who claims they felt nothing?). They're fighting cuz neither of them were brave enough to admit they're feelings translated to real life and I promise if those police didnt roll up then they wouldve kissed just like they did in the video game.

If they had NO feelings for each other, why are they STILL meeting in game to have e sex? Danny literally was about to end his text with an x and Karl was screaming crying and throwing up during their off period. Them men are in love with each other your honor and I dont wanna see anyone saying other wise!

While I agree, I’m also aware that I’m the lesbian entering one of the straightest and whitest fandoms in the world right now, with all the societally regressive and internalized bigotry that comes with that. That is of course largely due to Taylor centering her experiences with the men in her life in the majority of her own songs. And funnily enough, even that doesn’t mean she herself centers men in her own life, but people are engaging with her songs not her personally as being part of her daily life is not accessible to fans. So it’s really more that I am the interloper here poisoning the water by trying to talk about literally anything else. And I have to ask myself am I shocked that the women congregating around a woman who sings about men want to talk about men most of the time? Not really. Hence why I don’t bother with most of them, as we have little in common other than our love of this woman’s music, and I cultivate a little dyke swifite circle where I feel comfortable that someone won’t tell me that Taylor wants me to kill myself because I dared interpret a Precious Man Song to also be about her mom or whatever crimes against Swiftidom they believe I have committed.

No actually. Fuck this. This fucking blows. Trans people don't need Jesus or God's mercy or whatever other fucking fantasy y'all have decided you need to be complete.

The reason trans people don't join christian churches is because they are a 'community' that fundamentally excludes difference. No matter how many new interpretations of the Bible you make, you cannot erase the history of violence, colonialism, and exclusion done in the name of this God. Trans people are not participating now, and likely will not ever, for good reason.

There is no 'true message of Jesus,' there is only this history, this violence created by Christians, with the very intention of creating a world where trans people cannot live. When people try to find the 'true message,' or show the 'correct' interpretation of the Bible, they are trying to erase this history. They are asking you to be complacent, even while Christianity is being used as a cudgel to exclude, erase, deny, and kill trans people.

You don't need Christianity for community. Trans people are forming that well enough. You don't need it to reject cruel hierarchies or fight oppression. Those things are good on their own and should be done on their own merit. Folks like this are trying to hijack something good for their own ends and skip something cruel into what would otherwise be a beautiful thing.
