i’ll never write anything worthy of attaching this song to, but i NEED to hare this, as it’s this my all time favorite love song. 

i love the story, or rather, the tragedy of it all. I’ve always had a soft spot for old-timey pet names like “dearest, beloved, my love, etc.” I ADORE southern gothic/dark folk music, this song perfects the way this genera does stoytelling like none other. Goodnight Texas is a wonderful band and this is such a highlight for me.

I’ve never listened to something so bittersweet, and I will never emotionally recover from this.
