Been seeing a lot of Lisboa’s lately, but rarely Dao’s, Douro’s, or Bairrada’s, so HAD to grab this one. Loved drinking thes inexpensive, fabulous wine while visiting, but sadly, most Americans don’t get a chance at them. It’s all Port, Port, Port….. SOOOO many great still-wines from Portugal though. This is a seriously rustic drop, all achy and acidic and slightly rubbery with immense fruit…

I was today years old when I found out Toxoplasma gondii might be partly responsible for why Chanel no 5 perfume is popular.

So tldr if it's made of fully natural ingredients, that perfume will contain the scraped sexual pheromones from the perianal gland of the civet cat.

So low key people who like that perfume might unknowingly have the parasite or been exposed to the parasite enough times to find Chanel no5, other perfumes in the same scent family, as well some wines enjoyable.

The fact it's technically not illegal is super messed up but might also explain why my dad I hate Chanel no 5- it smells so bad to us. We like cats but we're both allergic vs my mom loved that perfume and {despite hating cats} always makes friends with cats. In short, I need to get her tested and if you know somebody or you are super into smells that use phermone ingredient {even the synthetic replica}, you should get tested for the parasite as a precaution.

Tonight's my first time trying vodka and I'd like to report my thoughts

Now I added Dr. Pepper to heavily dilute it

Update: I got home from my friend's house at 2:30 am and decided that vodka isn't worth my time so I tossed it.

When I arrived at my friend's house he was sipping white wine like a white mom, so I tried a sip, also terrible. Just less painful than vodka.

My mom and I found a great apartment for me on our first day (and we only looked at two complexes today lol). It meets all of requirements and most of my wants too. There’s no double sink and it’s not worth the extra cost to get a balcony, but it’s got in-unit laundry and the kitchen is soooo big like I’m literally obsessed with it. The only issue is the cost of course (it’s over the very top of my budget 😩). I think my family is going to try to support me and help me a bit though.
