and UUUUGGGGGHHHHHH I had this done way before his birthday but then suddenly my Windows photo app started crashing whenever I opened an image file so I had to bring it into a shop to get it fixed I WAITED OVER A WEEK for the results and in the end, they said that they would have had to erase everything and reinstall windows and I was like NOPE, and so I took it back home now for some reason chrome won't open when I click the icon on the taskbar UUUUUUUUUGGGGGGGGNNNNNNN

Idea for a fanfic:

For Hakuouki X Touken Ranbu (as reference)

Not sure if it should be Okitas route or not, but Okita meets the older half-sister of Kazama, who owns the sword Ichimonji Norimune (or Kikuichi Monji) while fighting Okita admits that he quite like the sword and they talk about it a bit.

'You have a great taste in swords, so let's cross blades again one day'

Kazamas sister fells in love with a human siding with the Saccho alliance, so she comes to cross blades with Okita again.

But Okita gets to stab her and while she is sinking into the blade, she presses the grip of her sword onto him.

'Here... Just make good use of it, don't let it go waste'

And she entrusts him the sword and dies in the moment he is receiving it.

Thought behind this: Kikuichi Monji was a sword said to be Okitas beloved sword, but it was only affordable in the Daimyo league, so it is highly possible to a rumour.

Kazamas sister is just a thought, can be his brother or whatsoever. She is not relevant to the linage (if she was his full-blooded sister, she would be a Pure-blood female which doesn't make sense in the universe of Hakuouki)

Story

It is the year 1863, where dark forces are plotting to change the historic past. Therefore, it is up to japanese swords animated to be young handsome men to travel back in time to destroy darkness and protect the world from unbalance. Yes, this will be a assiduous battle, but in order for the world’s balance to stay in peace such measure must be taken! Therefore, Izuminokami Kanesada along with his comrades must fight against these dark forces as well as their overwhelming need to not change the past for their own personal gain...

Review

Katsugeki/Touken Ranbu was a very visually action packed anime that allow for more awesome fighting scenes many begged for or at least expected from Touken Ranbu.Therefore, I was pretty content with this overall alternative setting that brought on a more dark and serious undertone. Furthermore, certain characters was able to get more screen time which allowed for the audience to grow more attached to said characters and their viewpoints. 

Hence, I was pretty happy to get more screen time with Izuminokami Kanesada, but I was a little upset I still couldn’t get enough with Shokudaikiri Mitsutada like I wanted from Touken Ranbu. Essentially, I want to learn more about his past and his master, but all I’m getting is a caring mom like figure which is cute in its own way...BUT! I want to see him fight and express his feelings toward certain situations! Well...I can’t get too mad I did get to see some sweet fight sequences with Mikazuki Munechika so that's a plus.

Now, for similar animes to Katsugeki/Touken Ranbu. I would say Drifters, Tales of Zestiria the X, Fate/Stay Night, and Hakuouki are quite similar in the visual and action department and a staple need of friendship/comradery.

Moreover, you get more great fighting sequences and certain character development you once wanted from Touken Ranbu. Thus,  Katsugeki/Touken Ranbu will be a great pick for you if you want something very similar to Drifters, Tales of Zestiria the X, Fate/Stay Night, and Hakuouki.

Despite the "playfulness" of TR (in fact I’d prefer to refer to the Katsugeki series) I can't help but think how cool it would be to see a crossover in which the guys from Touken Ranbu introduce themselves to their respective members of Shinsengumi with a beautiful "Yo, bro ... I’m your faithful weapon!"😂 I think it's really the crossover that I would most like to watch ... I don't know why, but I think it would be fun ... and I also believe that Okita could have psychological complexes, don’t ask why, but I have this feeling ahaha😂 👉 See here for another post I made on the subject

Psycho-Pass x Death Note

What fantastic psychological clash would it be???? Okay, have you ever thought about what would have happened to all of Kira's work if he had lived in a society like Sibyl System? Would he have been able to circumvent the system and carry on his work? Or would he turn out to be an asymptomatic criminal, just like Makishima?😍😍 How would he escape city scanners? And what about L? I think some good things would happen, If he joined forces with Kogami and the others ... I think it could be a truly compelling crossover and I’d be really curious to understand the implications that the story could take!

I've always liked to imagine some random encounters in a sports hall between the members of the Miracle Generation/Seirin and those of the various volleyball teams, especially with Karasuno ... I don't know, I think various guys could have many aspects in common and, why not, become friends and exchange advice ahahaha. The first I think of is certainly Shoyo with Kuroko .... Then I can think of Oikawa talking with Kise (Attention: insured fainting area) or I still think that Teppei could get along very well with Sugawara .... Daichi with Hyuuga ... Well, everyone would find someone to get along with, ahaha, it would be fun😂😂😂

This Chuuya and MY Chuuya would really get on well!😳😳😳” I can't help imagining their conversation with the sound of "Kuso Dazai (Chuuya by BSD)" and "You're absolutely right! Even my Dazai is so annoying!" or exchanging opinions on how """""beautiful"""" their hats are ...
