After 1 or 2 years of a serious reader's block I'm proud to finally be reading again. This January I picked one of my fave guilty pleasure silly books and it was just what I needed to get back into it! I've been very inspired to make bookmarks and my partner beeeegged for magnetic ones because they're great when you need to use multiple bookmarks in a single book!

I'm very excited to be releasing these and I hope you like them! ✨

Handmade Bookmarks!

Over in The Creative Art Village, we recently did a swap of Handmade Bookmarks with several members. So much fun!

I ended up creating a large array of butterfly bookmarks that I just sent out to everyone as Happy Mail. I adore how they turned out! The idea was from a Pinterest post that I saw a while back of a printable packet that you could purchase. So I decided to make my own with what I had in my stash. And I love the way the look. Adding gold bead accents to them was the finishing touch for sure!

Aren’t they cute how they just peek out of the top of a book? Adorable! Definitely going to make more for sure!

While this is my book blog where I talk about books, you might have seen that I have an etsy shop for my illustrations. My products are generally at least 50% bookish. I am not very good at the whole propaganda thing of myself. But this is also my space and as this is bookish I feel I am totally allowed to show you guys what I have been making! So I did a thing...

(well, not during Winter break because it’s astonishing how much I didn’t do anything during Winter break... but a few weeks back, I did a thing)

These are my new “GW inspired craft” bookmarks, I think they’re cute :)

Relena gets 2 versions because I had a couple of “little queen” pink pendants and couldn’t resist...

(yeah, Episode 0 became a cat chewing book when Sethi was a kitten... of all the books on the shelves he had to chose this one. I was not happy -_-)

Also did these little bottle keyrings (I guess?)

I’m currently (not) working on larger bottles for pendants. When I have more crafts I’ll put them up for grabs on my inventory page (although it would help to assess interest so I get an idea how much I should make, I still have some littles bottles. I also have a “0″ charm although I haven’t used it yet.)
