I am starting to realize that maybe me feeling tired lately is more than just something physical. I am emotionally and socially tired. I need to throw my phone out of a window, retreat in the woods and not have any social interaction for six months at least. I might try to pick back up journaling to let go of some feelings. But I also had some wins today, because I finished working on the second section of the book I am studying. So starting from tomorrow I will be working on the last section.

finished reading and underlining the second section of history of the Sabaudian states book

wrote down notes for everything I read today (which means that I am now officially 2/3 in the book, I can almost see the light at the end of the tunnel)

made a very simple November spread in my bullet journal

Guess who's back , back again?

This week was super tough! My sister was really sick with a fever, and my mom had a small surgery. I had to take care of everything at home, which was a lot of work. As a result,I got sick too. But we're all slowly feeling better now, and that's a big relief!

Today was a bit productive, I managed to squeeze in some study sessions.

Half Kinematics Chapter done.

Revised Plant Growth And Development chapter.

Given how I'm feeling, I'm surprised I got anything done at all - so that's a small win, right?"

studied for 6 hours in total today, which is more than i usually do, so i'm very happy with today's progress :) today i managed to:

completely memorize the different verb endings of the aorist tense (in imperative, indicative + the infinitive) in active and middle voice

almost completely memorize the different endings of a verb's participle form (singular + plural) in the aorist tense, for all the different cases in active voice

almost finish translating another text that might be on the exam (we have received 6 texts, among which a few will be on the exam). so now i've almost translated 4/6 texts!

tomorrow i hope to:

revise the aorist verb endings + participles to make sure it sticks

finish translating the text i was working on today

make flash cards on the different syntax concepts that might be on the exam + practice said flash cards

i have a few days of intense studying ahead of me, but i know it'll feel worth it when i walk into the exam on tuesday knowing i did my best to prepare.

good luck to all my fellow academics who are in the midst of exam season! it's an intense time, but never lose sight of why you're working so hard - whether it is in order to pursue a certain career your heart yearns for, or merely to enrich your inner life and quench your thirst for knowledge. you've got this <3

Today was quite busy and I have tomorrow is going to be even busier. I spent the entire morning out, first to my therapy appointment, and then running errands and getting a couple of christmas gifts (I did get the house in the cerulean sea for my brother's partner in the end, and I really hope she'll enjoy it, and for my bestie i found a very pretty edition of the yellow wall paper and other stories and I am quite confident on the fact that she'll like it). I was happy to find out a graphic novel I have been eyeing for years just got printed as a paperback, so of course I got that for myself. I am super excited to get to it once I finish my current read. A friend recommended it to me a good while back and I really trust his bookish recommendations. I also really needed therapy this month, it felt like getting a weight off my shoulders to be honest, the past few weeks have been quite overwhelming and it was good to talk things through.

today's productivity:

therapy session (taking care of your mental health is productivity, and i am going to fight anyone who disagrees)

ran errands and got christmas gifts

reorganized the cart I have near my desk

started rereading and rewriting the second set of notes for my history of political institutions class

1. I joined a research project about academic social responsibility.

2. I am regularly taking care of my skin and my food intakes are all on time.

3. I'm practising through the second paper of a competitive exam. I still have a lot to read in the first paper.

Exam is on 18th. Wish me luck!

Long time, no see?

Getting back on track! Life got busy, but I'm refocusing on my priorities. Studying and personal growth are back at the top of my list.

It's time for a fresh start. Balancing responsibilities and academics won't be easy, but I'm up for the challenge.
