My roommate: "Hey, do you want to go grab some chips?"
Me: "Naah, thanks. I'm trying to make healthier choices"
Her: "Ooh, sorry. Well, I don't criticize your 'healthy choices' of sleeping an average of 4 hours a day, drinking gallons of coffee and, of course, studying Physics"

Just talking abt my personal experience so mind that but allowing myself to be okay with eating “junkier” food was a huge step for me. I do have certain goals with my diet (prioritizing eating more protein for example) but ultimately the end goal is to eat enough in a day and that supersedes every other goal. That has also helped me transition away from an ingredients household to a balanced middle ground. I am healthier because i let myself eat mac and cheese. Seriously.

yall im so bad fr but i need to go on a low carb low sodium diet. ive been kind of on the low sodium for a lil bit now but now i also need low sugar as i am basically diabetic without being diabetic officially now.
i love food, and i love fresh made food, but the tome consumption of making the food does not mesh well with my adhd so i tend to just grab something thats quick and easy.
my doctor has decided to put me back on my adhd meds though so maybe that will help?? but fr if anyone has any tips on stuff like this. if anyone has managed cooking while being adhd pleeeaaase. how do you DO it
im not too picky on food either. if it tastes good, i eat. so dont worry about that either

Making sustainable food choices can have positive impacts on our health, the environment, and ethical considerations. Choosing locally-grown, seasonal foods, and reducing food waste can help reduce transportation emissions and promote fresher, more nutritious foods. Eating a plant-based diet and choosing sustainable seafood options can also help reduce the strain on natural resources. Buying fair trade and organic products supports ethical and sustainable farming practices. Finally, using reusable containers and cutlery can reduce waste and contribute to a sustainable food system. Small changes can make a big difference in promoting a healthier planet for us all.
