Shipping characters with big height difference is much funnier now when I've got a boyfriend who's almost 20cm taller than me. It was evening, already so late that the noises of the streets had turned into distant echos and they had to switch on the lights in the living room so the warm, yellow lamplight dyed everything into a layer of gold. It was not the way Senritsu had learned dancing waltz- there was no classic Music from the radio, and her hands were not on Chris shoulders and she did not moved in the proper steps. Instead there was a slow rock song floating through the warm air, Senritsus arms were around Chris waist , and the man had lifted her on his feet to stand on and dance along to his steps. She had leaned her face against his upper stomach with her eyes closed as if she was sleeping and in some way Senritsu was a little dozing- it was warm, Chris big hands were on her shoulder securely, his fottsteps leading her feet were slow and careful, the light was comfortably dim, and the mans heartbeat echoed through his body calmly and sweet like a lullaby that cozily lulled the woman in. Moments passed by slowly. The music was slow. The room was comfortably warm. The steps were calm. Chris heartbeat was a lovesong. It was only when the melody echoing through Chris body changed, when a little second song enhancing the first melody appeared and teasingly stroked aorund her ears, that Senritsu opned her eyes.
