Okay, so verdict on Season One of Hulu's Helstrom is that I liked it enough to want a second season. It was patchy in some places and the pacing could have been better in the middle to second half of the season. Its pretty good for the spook season and I look forward to enjoying more horror genre television during this month.

I genuinely, which heartfelt emphasis and every ounce of emotion, did not care for Gabriella. I think she was the thing that really brought me out of the experience of watching. It felt like she was meant to be this earnest character but it came off cloying and I was just mainly bored whenever she was onscreen. If I ever do a rewatch I hope that view could change but I did not care for her and yeah, if they get a second season hopefully that changes.

Loved the Helstrom siblings. 100/10 would like to wrap them up in hugs and smother them with love. Daimon, my poor lamb. Ana, my darling heart. I want her wardrobe and I love his house. I really like the arc they went on throughout the series. It was a clear trajectory and enjoyable eventhough you could kinda tell what was coming in a sense.

Henry and Louise! They're a goddamn delight and I love, love, love how soft they are with each other! Victoria and Chris! 💕 UGH. Love Team Helstrom.

That cliffhanger though. If it does get season two, I will watch. Though with the current situation with Marvel Television, I am doubtful.

So was anyone gonna mention that Daimon was basically violated and sexually assaulted in the end of S1E08 or was I supposed to find that out myself?

Daimon was betrayed and attacked by someone he trusted, since he thought it was Gabrielle and it turned out to be Mother instead. I really wanted Ana to drop in and save him b/c that scene was heartbreaking and sad and it really didn’t have to be like that
