Keeping Lag to a Minimum...
I was chatting about a few things I do to combat lag over on discord and realised I do quite a bit of maintenance to reduce lag/load times. I decided to write em all down and before I knew it, I had a big ol' list. Here's hoping it helps!
Save/File Tips:
Clear your caches (located in the same spot as your mod folder fyi) I usually delete the onlinethumbnailcache, avatarcache and localthumbcache caches every time I exit the game, the main one to delete regularly is the localthumbcache file, they're just temporary files but it can get pretty big after a while.. if you're having any mod issues, particularly ui ones, it's always worth deleting that to see if it helps.
Remove any saves you're not using from your saves folder, and keep an eye on save file sizes. In my experience, any saves over around 30-40mb start to get a bit laggy. Things that bump this size up are the amount of townies in game and the amount of lots/objects in the world.
Regarding the above point, I regularly bulldoze lots I don't need anymore, just to save the game from having to cope with extra shit to load in the background and reduce save file bloat.
Similarly, I delete a lot of unnecessary townies. Also, try to keep the amount of outfits on townies to a minimum, ain't no townie need four swimsuit outfits, the game will thank you..
If you have cheats enabled you can usually shift-click/delete object on things like random coffee cups or stray cupcakes sims foolishly drop around the world (or eat em.. whatever tickles ur pickle) just get rid!
Whilst we're keeping objects in game to a minimum.. I try to clear sims inventories now and then, including townies. You can do this via mccc even if you're not currently playing that household by heading to MC Cleaner -> Sell Sim Inventory/Sell Household Inventory. RANDOM LUMPS OF CLAY BEGONE!
Think of a save file like a lot.. the more objects in it, the laggier it gets! Try your best to remove anything or anyone unnecessary where you can.
Hit "Save As" instead of "Save" now and then - the more you overwrite a save, the more chance it has of going wonky, treat your game to a fresh one now and then and remove the old one from your saves folder (maybe don't delete it right away in case you wanna roll back, keep it somewhere safe).
If you can (although ik it can be a pain) set up a new/fresh save, you'd be surprised how bogged down old ones can get! For legacy players, it's usually best to do this whenever you have a small family to save yourself some pain, since you can just save the household and take em to a new save (you will lose sims inventories/household inventories/relationships with sims outside the household tho so beware! Pictures/other collectables can be saved to a lot however, and you can always cheat back relationship bits etc.. bit of a last resort but new saves are shiny and fast!)
Make sure your Screenshots/Video folders are empty - move em somewhere else, it works, trust me. If you have a lot of custom music installed try n' clear some of those out too.. the smaller that Sims 4 directory is, the better.
Delete any last exceptions/last crashes (same spot as your mod folder again) you don't need em unless you're planning to upload em somewhere for help.
Settings Etc:
If you get a bad lag spike, opening the main menu and/or saving can randomly stop this. If it doesn't, try exiting the game, clearing your localthumbcache and restarting.
Clearing all notifications from the game panel can also help.
If you can, close all other apps and background apps you don't need whilst playing, ts4 is super memory hungry so it can definitely help.
The GraphicsRules Override file by Simp4Sims can reduce lag/latency and make your game look a little better in the process!
Srslysims Simulation Lag Fix mod can help reduce lag too (if you've altered the game speed via mccc tho, don't use this unless you plan on resetting it to default).
If you aren't keen on, or barely use a pack, consider disabling it.
Not ideal, especially for those of us taking screenshots, but lowering the graphics settings whilst playing definitely helps.
If you use re/g-shade, consider switching it off whilst playing and only turn it on for screenshots.
A clean and tidy pc/laptop runs better in general. Remove anything you're not using/don't need anymore to free up space, remove temp files, clean up your folders now and again etc etc.. especially that dreaded mod folder, speaking of...
Managing Mods:
SORT OUT YOUR MODS FOLDER FOR THE LOVE OF GOD.. skdsjdjs it doesn't have to be immaculate but at the very least try n' clear it out now n' then. Also try to separate your script mods/overrides from the rest, patch days don't need to be so stressful ;-;
Personally, I don't merge my mods; if something breaks it's much harder to pinpoint! It makes it easier to find/delete specific mods too.. and let's face it, there's usually one or two items in that set you could do without lmaooo.. also, don't think it helps much tbh! Yeah you could say the game doesn't have to work as hard to load merged files but that's debatable, it's still the same amount of items/polys at the end of the day ¯\(°_o)/¯
If you like merging files and/or see results from doing so, you can merge stuff you definitely know you're never getting rid of, especially CAS/BB stuff.. but steer clear of merging gameplay/script mods! If a merged file seems to be the culprit when using the 50/50 method, try unmerging it and 50/50ing it again! You might not need to get rid of everything if something's borked.
Bulk Rename Utility can be used to remove all spaces and special characters from your mod files, the game doesn't particularly like loading those so it'll thank you.
The Sims 4 Mod Manager is a great way to sort through your mods, you can easily see, move and delete files from here (not great for build/buy, poses etc as thumbnails are usually missing, but great for CAS stuff). An extra hint with this that I've noticed is that if any of my mods get renamed with [D1] at the beginning after looking through them via the mod manager, it means it's a duplicate file so you can get rid.
I also use the Sims 4 Tray Importer to help me sort through mods. Simply save a sim/lot with any cc you don't want and find it in the importer, you can then go through all the cc in the cc tab and delete/sort it (I also use this to sort cc if a bunch has the wrong tags etc, makes it easier to find in my folders by saving em to a lot or w/e - it also spots duplicates which is handy).
It's a ballache, but the 50/50 method is tried and tested if you're having issues.
I like to keep an abandoned cc folder tucked away somewhere, that way you can remove mods willy nilly without stressing about losing them. If you change your mind, you can always grab it back!
#ts4#sims 4#simblr#tips#reducing ts4 lag#uhhhhh#idk what else to tag this as#skdjskjd#ALSO! feel free to rb and add ur own tips!#lawd knows we need it with this game lmaoooo#as chaotic as he is.. i bet oscar's pc is immaculate#đ

đ¸đżskinny lifestyle - balanced mindđżđ¸
~Being skinny is a lifestyle, not a challenge. It wonât come naturally and working hard is essential, so here are daily habits to build and to stay disciplined~
Your motivation WILL fade at some point. Thatâs when discipline and habits come in and you keep you in line.

1. 10k steps a day
Itâs such a peaceful and efficient habit to start your day.
It helps you to stay lean, tone your body and burn some calories. Walking is low-stress, aids digestion and reduces bloating.
I love getting my steps in first thing in the morning. If thatâs not possible just break it into chunks - morning, lunch break, evening walks or just whenever fits youđ

2. portion control > restriction
Labeling food as good and bad is so exhausting. The more you restrict yourself the more you tend to break your set up rules and binge.
Eat what you enjoy, just not excessively. Stay within your calories. Plan your meals.
You can use smaller plates, chew slowly, drink inbetween/before/after and avoid mindless eating in front of screens.
3. Gut Health Basic
I will die on this hill. Your gut health affects everything. Your whole body. Digestion, skin, energy and mood.
Healing your gut is essential and can you help drop weight.
Include probiotic foods: yogurt, kefir, kimchi, sauerkraut
Add prebiotics: oats, bananas, garlic, onions
Stay hydrated and reduce ultra-processed food, track what causes bloating or discomfort - everyoneâs gut is different.

4. extra secret - blood sugar
Keeping my blood sugar level balanced helped me loose the last few pounds.
Eating high-sugar or fast-digesting carbs spikes your blood glucose and your insulin rushes in. Your blood sugar crashes and you will be hit with cravings, fatigue and irritability.
Stable blood sugar = fewer cravings, more energy.
When you eat balanced meals and and glucose enters your bloodstream slowly, your insulin stays in check.
= you stay full longer, crave less and burn fat more efficiently
Eating in the right order can help achieve that (first fiber, then protein/fat, then carbs)
~~Also, my recommendation would be Berberine !!
Itâs a supplement working as a natural insulin-sensitizer and helps with glucose control. Youâll feel more energetic and can loose weight easily by burning fat more efficiently
~ You donât need to cut carbs â you need to control how your body processes them.
Itâs not âeat lessâ â itâs eat smarter ~

Frog In The Fog
Word Count:691 Summary: "I donât trust you," you said once, stirring stew. "Good," he said. "I donât trust frogs either." Pairing: Prince Naveen inspired Intak X F Reader
Taglist: @torkorpse @agaha127 @lcvejjoong @zaycie @sh0dor1 @tinyelfperson @lezleeferguson-120
Navigation
The swamp didnât hum so much as it gurgled. Thick with secrets and soggy roots, it whispered in the way rot sometimes doesâquietly, insistently. Somewhere off in the muck, something sloppedâa wet, bloated sound as a bubble of air escaped through a slick patch of algae. You didnât flinch. This was home nowâmud, moss, and monsters included.
What did make you flinch was the voice.
"Oh. Itâs you."
You turned, slow as sap, arms folding across your chest. The cracked lantern youâd found last winter sat in your palm, trembling just slightly. Not from fear. Noâthe frog inside still had too much pride for that.
Two golden eyes blinked up at you through the smeared glass, smug even in miniature. Somehow, even reduced to green skin and webbed toes, he managed to look vaguely condescending.
"Guess youâre not so above my boots now, huh?"
His throat bubbled once. Annoyance. Maybe guilt. You hoped for both.
The first week, you carried him by his leg.
Dangling from a vine looped through his ankle, he swung like a pendulum as you trekked through brambles and fog. He complained. Endlessly.
"This is undignified."
"Youâre a frog."
"A prince."
"A frog prince dangling over my breakfast."
He had the gall to croak disdainfully. "I wouldnât call moldy berries and boiled roots a breakfast."
You grinned. "Then starve, Your Sliminess."
It shouldâve stayed like that. You punishing him with every step, him squirming and puffing up like it made a difference.
But he started remembering.
Little things, at first. Your bootsâworn, scuffed. Your accentâstill sharp with the drawl he once mocked. He remembered the way youâd stared up at the palace as a child, all big eyes and hollow stomach, and the way heâd laughed.
"You? With that accent and those boots? Youâll be lucky to serve soup in this place, let alone belong in it."
You remembered too.
"You were cruel," you said one night, unprompted, as you set him beside the fire.
He didnât argue. Just looked into the flames. "I was a boy who thought being untouchable meant being better."
You didnât respond. But you didnât hang him upside down that night either.
By the second month, you stopped pretending he was just a burden.
You talked. About the curseâhow it could only be broken by making amends. About his kingdomârotting under regents who wore jewels like shackles. About yourselfâhow surviving meant becoming sharper, harder, smarter.
"I donât trust you," you said once, stirring stew.
"Good," he said. "I donât trust frogs either."
You snorted despite yourself. He grinned.
Then came the spirit.
The swamp didnât take kindly to healing. And when you found the heartrootâwhat you needed for the next phase of his cursebreakingâyou also found the guardian.
It slithered through the mist like oil, voice like wind through bone.
"The prince must pay."
You shoved him behind you without thinking.
"He is paying."
The curse lashed toward you. Too fast.
But he moved faster.
The spirit hit him square in the chest. For a moment, he sparkedâlike light through rainâand you screamed.
You didnât notice the silence until his small body rolled into your lap.
"Donâtâdonât die, you idiotic, arrogantâ"
"Are you... crying?"
Your breath hitched. He was blinking up at you againâglowing faintly.
"Youâre glowing."
"I feel... strange."
A beat. Then a crack like thunderâand light enveloped him.
When it cleared, a man lay in your lap.
Tall. Familiar eyes. Less smug than you remembered.
You stared.
"This was never about the kiss, was it?" he asked softly.
You brushed hair from his forehead. "No. It was about becoming someone who deserved to be kissed."
He laughed, small and real.
"Do I?"
You didnât answer.
But you didnât pull away either.
He didnât ask you to come with him. Not that night.
But weeks later, he found you where the swamp gave way to stone paths.
He offered his handânot as a prince, but as a man whoâd learned how to kneel.
You looked at it.
Then at him.
"Alright," you said. "But youâre still cooking."
He grinned.
"Yes, maâam."
And for the first time, you took his hand willingly.

A few thoughts on Stronghold Protocol:
1. I do think this has some potential to be a permanent game mode, though probably on the minor end of things like SSS. The RNG is largely well-placed, and SSS-style seasons with specific enemies and maps to match could work well.
2. Loaning you out operators for free is an interesting approach for a gacha game, but it does mean the devs have a lot more control over what the "intended" experience is. You don't have to guess what works as a good comp, or worry that you've missed out some counterplay option.
2.1. It's also a nice place to let operators you don't usually use shine. I don't have any levelled chain casters, but Astesia is really proving herself in this mode.
3. I appreciate some of the silly combos they have going on, like the +ASPD keyring combined with flashbangs on someone like Meteor.
4. Handing you a choice of high-value team comp item in the early rounds is an interesting way to give the player something to build towards. (Though, I feel like the faction-based ones are maybe too restricted for what they give compared to the class-based ones.)
5. Hi Raidian
Now, for the complaints:
6. The Portable Explosives enemy buff seems mean-spirited. Either have a mode that forgives a couple of leaks, or don't; having it forgive sometimes makes it all the more annoying when it decides not to.
6.1. They should also clear up how dropping to zero shields but not losing lives still means you're going to deal no damage to the enemy HP, making it a de facto round loss. It's counterintuitive when Integrated Strategies considers losing shields but not lives to be a "perfect" clear.
6.2. Losing a round in general feels overly harsh, since it gives more time for the enemy to snowball and guarantees you'll face harder foes than before. Sometimes it feels like the correct response to a loss is to restart the run. Just having the enemy difficulty not increase after a lost run would be enough, IMO.
Compare how losing lives in Integrated Strategies often gives you some penalties, but still gives you the battle rewards, and progresses you past the problem node and towards the end of the run. Imagine if it added an extra boss fight to the end instead.
7. The reduced funds on hard mode slow things down in an unfun way. You buy one laneholder on round 1, play a round, upgrade on round 2, play a round... maybe you're actually starting to play by round 3?
8. ...and then round 3 rolls out a stat-boosted Yeti Icecleaver that takes no damage from your two operators. Yes, you've all heard about the stat inflation by now.
9. Beyond simple stat bloat, there's a weird imbalance between the different enemies you can face: some melee comps are napworthy, even on hard mode, but candle knight wannabes can nuke you with little counterplay, and Icefield Militants will ruin your entire life forever always.
9.1. I feel like that can generalise to "some enemies aren't appropriate for this game mode". Some enemies ask for active counterplay, like well-timed stuns or fast-redeploy bait that you just can't pull off reliably in this mode.
10. Likewise, some of the maps seem simply that much harder to navigate. Particularly the active originium maps; it feels like the enemy comps were often designed with splitting them up in mind, so forcing them through the same chokepoint often goes nasty.
11. Using FRDs in this game mode feels weird. The skill activates on deployment, and they only redeploy if they die, so... you have to try to get them killed? But then they can't do that much if they get killed too quickly. I'd say you just aren't meant to use them, but Misery is here as a gamemode-exclusive, so...?

How Do I Get Rid of My Belly Pooch?
Getting rid of a belly pooch (the stubborn fat around the lower abdomen) requires a combination of targeted exercises, healthy eating, and lifestyle changes. While spot reduction isnât possible, you can reduce overall body fat and tone your core to achieve a flatter stomach. Hereâs a comprehensive, science-backed guide to help you tackle that belly pooch:
1. Understand the Causes of Belly Pooch
Before diving into solutions, itâs important to understand why belly pooch occurs:
Excess Body Fat: Stored fat in the abdominal area.
Hormonal Changes: Cortisol (stress hormone) and estrogen imbalances can lead to fat storage in the lower belly.
Poor Posture: Slouching can make your belly appear more pronounced.
Bloating: Digestive issues or food intolerances can cause temporary bloating.
Weak Core Muscles: Lack of muscle tone in the abdominal area.
2. Nutrition: The Foundation for Fat Loss
You canât out-exercise a bad diet. Focus on these nutrition strategies to reduce overall body fat:
2.1 Eat in a Calorie Deficit
How It Works: Consume fewer calories than you burn to lose fat.
Tip: Use a calorie-tracking app to monitor your intake.
2.2 Prioritize Protein
Why: Protein boosts metabolism, reduces appetite, and preserves muscle mass.
Sources: Lean meats, fish, eggs, tofu, legumes, and Greek yogurt.
2.3 Choose Healthy Fats
Why: Healthy fats keep you full and support hormone balance.
Sources: Avocados, nuts, seeds, olive oil, and fatty fish.
2.4 Reduce Refined Carbs and Sugars
Why: Excess sugar and refined carbs can lead to fat storage, especially in the belly.
Tip: Replace white bread, pasta, and sugary snacks with whole grains, fruits, and vegetables.
2.5 Stay Hydrated
Why: Water aids digestion, reduces bloating, and supports metabolism.
Tip: Drink at least 8-10 glasses of water daily.
2.6 Limit Alcohol
Why: Alcohol is high in empty calories and can contribute to belly fat.
Tip: Opt for healthier alternatives like sparkling water with lemon.
3. Exercise: Burn Fat and Tone Your Core
Combine cardio, strength training, and core exercises to target belly fat and build muscle.
3.1 Cardio for Fat Loss
Why: Cardio burns calories and reduces overall body fat.
Examples: Running, cycling, swimming, or HIIT workouts.
Frequency: 3-5 times per week for 30-45 minutes.
3.2 Strength Training
Why: Building muscle increases your resting metabolic rate, helping you burn more calories.
Examples: Squats, deadlifts, lunges, and push-ups.
Frequency: 2-3 times per week.
3.3 Core-Specific Exercises
Why: Strengthening your core muscles helps tone and flatten your stomach.
Exercises:
Plank: Hold for 30-60 seconds, engaging your core.
Bicycle Crunches: 3 sets of 15-20 reps.
Leg Raises: 3 sets of 12-15 reps.
Russian Twists: 3 sets of 20 twists (10 per side).
Mountain Climbers: 3 sets of 30 seconds.
Frequency: 3-4 times per week.
4. Lifestyle Changes to Support Fat Loss
4.1 Manage Stress
Why: High cortisol levels can lead to fat storage in the belly.
Tips: Practice yoga, meditation, or deep breathing exercises.
4.2 Get Enough Sleep
Why: Poor sleep disrupts hormones that regulate hunger and fat storage.
Tip: Aim for 7-9 hours of quality sleep per night.
4.3 Improve Posture
Why: Good posture engages your core muscles and makes your belly appear flatter.
Tip: Practice standing and sitting tall, with your shoulders back and core engaged.
4.4 Reduce Bloating
Why: Bloating can make your belly pooch more noticeable.
Tips:
Avoid processed foods and carbonated drinks.
Identify and eliminate food intolerances (e.g., gluten, dairy).
Eat smaller, more frequent meals.
5. Advanced Tips for Stubborn Belly Fat
5.1 Intermittent Fasting
How It Works: Restrict eating to a specific window (e.g., 8 hours) to promote fat burning.
Example: Eat between 12 PM and 8 PM, fast for 16 hours.
5.2 High-Intensity Interval Training (HIIT)
Why: HIIT burns more calories in less time and boosts metabolism.
Example: 20-30 minutes of alternating sprints and rest.
5.3 Incorporate Resistance Training
Why: Building muscle increases your resting metabolic rate.
Example: Add weights to your squats, lunges, and core exercises.
6. Sample Weekly Plan to Target Belly Pooch
Monday:
Cardio: 30-minute run or brisk walk.
Core Workout: Plank, bicycle crunches, and leg raises.
Tuesday:
Strength Training: Full-body workout (squats, push-ups, rows).
Wednesday:
HIIT: 20-minute session (e.g., 30 seconds sprint, 30 seconds rest).
Thursday:
Core Workout: Russian twists, mountain climbers, and planks.
Friday:
Cardio: 45-minute cycling or swimming.
Saturday:
Strength Training: Lower body focus (lunges, deadlifts, glute bridges).
Sunday:
Rest or Active Recovery: Yoga or stretching.
7. Patience and Consistency
Why: Belly fat is often the last to go, so consistency is key.
Tip: Track your progress with photos, measurements, or how your clothes fit.
Conclusion
Getting rid of a belly pooch requires a holistic approach that combines healthy eating, regular exercise, and lifestyle changes. By focusing on reducing overall body fat, strengthening your core, and addressing underlying factors like stress and bloating, you can achieve a flatter, more toned stomach. Remember, consistency and patience are keyâstick with your plan, and youâll see results over time!

Health/skin update
Things are getting much better.
My skin is not perfect, but it's clearing up. I compare my skin to how it was last month at the same time of my cycle (I'm on week 2). There is still some inflammation and itchiness, but far less than last month. Each passing month gets better as I heal.
Quitting fasting has been a big contributor, because prolonged fasting raised my cortisol and caused this inflammation and fatigue. Also increased cortisol = lowered progesterone.
Physical stressors like skipping breakfast, overexercising, undereating, sleep deprivation, and infections can cause inflammation and elevated cortisol. Studies show that fasting for a few days in a row can increase cortisol.
I know I experience itchiness when I'm stressed, anxious, sleep deprived, and excited. So this makes me believe that there is a cortisol role in my skin inflammation. And the fact that my inflammation began at puberty, gets worse a week before my period, and went away for my mom when she experienced perimenopause leads me to believe that estrogen/progesterone play a role.
Lowering my stress and cortisol will raise my progesterone. And I'm taking a DIM detox supplement to reduce my estrogen levels and support my liver health. All of this will be so helpful in reducing my inflammation with time, and I know it's not an overnight thing. But my skin is getting clearer and clearer and I compare it to how it was in my previous cycle (same week) and it's less inflamed overall. So I'm happy. But I would like to be inflammation free.
I'm still eating anti-inflammatory. I'm not dealing with bloating thankfully. And I'm still in good shape despite not fasting everyday anymore. Like I said I was concerned and insecure about my calf shape. So I'm going to look into massaging and stretching them. Even prolonged walking can make them bulk up and muscular. I will walk gently if possible and do massages and stretches to see if they help.
Despite some itchiness, I'm healing overall and I know I'm going to recover. My diet raised my cortisol and caused severe inflammation and messed with my estrogen/progesterone balance. So I'm doing what I can to take care of that inflammation.

i think the toughest part for me during all this is how fast it's been. going from being totally normal but with gas/bloating/farting....to suddenly having no gas/bloating/farting but experiencing difficulty breathing and high heartrate one time when i ate too much. then during the week having that happen more and more every time i ate. and then having it happen even if i ate hardly anything. and then starting the probiotics the next week and having that solve the difficulty breathing issue but introduce other side effects. and eventually getting to the point where that nerve pain and extreme reduced ability to move my legs/arms and mental confusion was a constant rather than just when i ate. i have felt so helpless through this whole thing and the doctors kept saying 'wait a week for your appointment and get a referral' while the ER was saying 'you need to see a specialist NOW'. and every day i was waiting it got worse. its just so frustrating because if i had been able to see a real doctor on the 27th of july when i ended up in the ER the first time, so much of this pain might have been slowed or prevented. im sitting here being dizzy and unable to do basic things like clean my house or move around much and am looking forward to spending the next four days just trying to survive till i can see a doctor.
my lovely neighbor went out and bought me these drinks called 'orgain' so im drinking that now and just hoping desperately its not going to trigger anything
#jrnlsht#i have an apppointment monday#i finally got fed up with insurance and found a private GI specialist in beverly hills lmao#grandma is gonna help me figure out how to financially afford it and hope that i wont have to pay thousands for the tests#but soooooo many patients dont even have that option of relatives who can help#this is common enough that when i explained my situation to the private doctors office#they said that they were acustomed to getting people with state health*care who were in emergency situations and couldnt wait#there are much better doctors in places like the hun*tington hospital but they are not allowed to accept cash#because if you are on state health*care you are not supposed to have money to pay cash to see a doctor even in emergency situations#its so profoundly stupid#like yes im on state healthcare because i cant afford 300$ a month insurance payments while unemployed#but that doesnt mean it isnt worth it to take 400$ out of my savings to see a doctor in an emergency situation#i fucking hate the united states so fucking much

How to Detox Your Body Naturally with Ayurveda
In todayâs fast-paced world, our bodies are constantly exposed to toxins â through processed foods, pollution, stress, and irregular routines. Over time, these toxins (known as âAmaâ in Ayurveda) accumulate in the body and disrupt our natural balance, leading to fatigue, poor digestion, skin issues, and even chronic illnesses.
Ayurveda, the ancient Indian system of holistic healing, offers powerful yet gentle ways to cleanse the body, boost immunity, and restore vitality. Hereâs how you can detox your body naturally with Ayurvedic practices:
What Is Ama (Toxin) in Ayurveda?
In Ayurveda, âAmaâ refers to the toxic waste that builds up due to poor digestion and unhealthy lifestyle habits. It is considered the root cause of many diseases. Detoxification helps eliminate this Ama from the digestive tract and tissues, rejuvenating the body and mind.
Signs You Need an Ayurvedic Detox
Constant fatigue or heaviness
Sluggish digestion or bloating
Bad breath or coated tongue
Acne or dull skin
Brain fog or low mood
Poor immunity or frequent illness
If youâre experiencing any of these symptoms, itâs a sign that your body may need a gentle reset.
Ayurvedic Ways to Detox the Body
1. Start Your Day with Warm Water
Drinking warm water (with lemon or a pinch of turmeric) first thing in the morning flushes out toxins and kickstarts digestion.
2. Follow a Simple Detox Diet
Eat light, easily digestible, and nourishing foods for a few days:
Kitchari (a mix of rice, lentils, and spices) is the ideal detox meal.
Avoid dairy, sugar, processed foods, caffeine, and fried items.
Focus on fresh fruits, steamed vegetables, herbal teas, and spices like cumin, ginger, and fennel.
3. Use Detoxifying Herbs
Triphala: A mild laxative that cleanses the colon.
Neem: Purifies the blood and clears the skin.
Turmeric: Supports liver detox and reduces inflammation. Always consult an Ayurvedic expert before using herbs regularly.
4. Practice Abhyanga (Oil Massage)
Daily self-massage with warm sesame oil boosts circulation, relaxes the body, and draws out toxins from deeper tissues.
5. Sweat It Out
Gentle activities like yoga, walking, or even a warm bath help open the pores and eliminate toxins through sweat.
6. Follow Dinacharya (Daily Routine)
Consistency is key. Waking up early, eating meals at regular times, and going to bed before 10 PM help align your bodyâs natural rhythms and support detox.
7. Panchakarma â The Ultimate Detox
For deeper detoxification, Ayurveda recommends Panchakarma â a series of personalized, therapeutic treatments under the guidance of an Ayurvedic practitioner. It involves techniques like oil therapy, enemas, steam, and herbal cleansing, and should be done seasonally or as advised.

What Ingredients Should I Avoid in Weight Loss Supplements?
youtube
Weight loss supplements have become very popular as people look for quick and easy ways to shed extra pounds. Many products claim to boost metabolism, burn fat, or reduce appetite. While some may be effective, not all supplements are safe. Some contain harmful ingredients that can cause serious health problems.
This raises an important question: "What ingredients should I avoid in weight loss supplements?" Some diet pills have ingredients that may lead to heart problems, high blood pressure, digestive issues, or even long-term health risks. Thatâs why itâs important to know whatâs inside these products before taking them.
In this article, weâll discuss the dangerous ingredients found in some weight loss supplements and how they can affect your body. Making the right choice can help you lose weight safely without risking your health.
II. Harmful Ingredients in Diet Pills
Not all weight loss supplements are safe. Some contain harmful ingredients that can cause serious health problems. Knowing what to avoid can help you make safer choices. Here are some of the most dangerous ingredients found in diet pills:
Ephedra â This stimulant was once used in weight loss pills to boost metabolism. However, it has been banned in many countries because it can cause high blood pressure, heart attacks, and strokes.
Sibutramine â This ingredient was used to suppress appetite, but it was later found to increase the risk of heart problems and strokes. Because of these dangers, it has been removed from most markets.
Phenolphthalein â Some weight loss pills contain this ingredient as a laxative. However, studies have linked it to potential cancer risks, leading to its removal from many supplements.
These harmful ingredients in diet pills can cause dangerous side effects, including heart disease, anxiety, digestive issues, and more. Always check the label before taking any weight loss supplement, and choose natural, safe alternatives whenever possible.
III. Side Effects of Weight Loss Supplements
Many weight loss supplements contain harmful ingredients that can cause serious health issues. While they promise fast results, they often come with unwanted side effects. Here are some of the most common problems linked to these supplements:
Increased Heart Rate and High Blood Pressure â Ingredients like stimulants (e.g., ephedra or high doses of caffeine) can make your heart beat faster. This can lead to high blood pressure, heart palpitations, and even heart attacks.
Digestive Issues â Some weight loss pills act as laxatives, leading to diarrhea, nausea, bloating, and stomach cramps. Long-term use can also cause dehydration and nutritional deficiencies.
Mood Swings, Anxiety, and Sleep Disturbances â Stimulants in diet pills can affect the brain, causing nervousness, irritability, mood swings, and difficulty sleeping. Many users report feeling jittery or experiencing panic attacks after taking certain supplements.
These side effects of weight loss supplements make some diet pills unsafe for daily use. Instead of relying on risky ingredients, focus on natural and healthy weight loss methods to avoid these harmful effects. Always consult a doctor before trying any new supplement.
IV. Unsafe Fat Burner Ingredients
Not all fat burners are safeâsome contain dangerous ingredients that can harm your health. Here are a few unsafe fat burner ingredients you should avoid:
Synephrine (Bitter Orange) â This ingredient is often used as a replacement for ephedra, which is banned in many countries. Synephrine can increase heart rate and blood pressure, leading to a higher risk of heart attacks and strokes.
DMAA (1,3-Dimethylamylamine) â This stimulant is banned in many countries because it can cause high blood pressure, shortness of breath, and heart complications. Some weight loss supplements still sneak it in under different names.
Yohimbine â Found in some fat burners, Yohimbine can cause anxiety, high blood pressure, rapid heartbeat, and dizziness. It may be especially dangerous for people with pre-existing heart conditions.
Safer Alternatives
Instead of using supplements with risky ingredients, look for natural fat burners like: â
Green tea extract â Boosts metabolism and helps burn fat. â
L-Carnitine â Helps the body convert fat into energy safely.
Choosing natural ingredients over unsafe fat burner ingredients can help you lose weight safely without harmful side effects. Always check supplement labels and consult a doctor before taking any fat burners.

V. Toxic Substances in Weight Loss Products
Some weight loss supplements contain toxic substances that can harm your body. These dangerous chemicals are often found in unregulated or low-quality products. Here are a few harmful substances to watch out for:
Heavy Metals (Lead, Arsenic, Mercury) â Some supplements have been found to contain small amounts of toxic metals, which can lead to kidney damage, nerve problems, and digestive issues when consumed over time.
Artificial Stimulants and Fillers â Some weight loss pills include cheap, synthetic ingredients to make them more effective. However, these artificial substances can cause high blood pressure, anxiety, and heart problems.
How to Stay Safe
â Buy from trusted brands â Only purchase supplements from reputable companies that follow strict quality standards. â Check for third-party testing â Look for supplements that are tested for purity and safety by independent labs. â Read the ingredient list carefully â Avoid products with unknown or unlisted ingredients.
Being aware of toxic substances in weight loss products can help you avoid health risks and make safer choices. Always research before buying any supplement!
VI. Conclusion
Some weight loss supplements contain harmful ingredients that can seriously affect your health. Itâs important to know what ingredients should I avoid in weight loss supplements? Dangerous substances like ephedra, sibutramine, DMAA, and artificial stimulants can cause severe side effects, including heart problems, anxiety, and digestive issues.
To stay safe, always read ingredient labels, buy from trusted brands, and choose natural alternatives like green tea extract and L-carnitine. Weight loss should be achieved through healthy eating and lifestyle changes, not risky supplements. Make informed choices for your health and well-being!

Actually, while I'm on a bit of a Limbus kick I think I'll talk about how I like the gacha system.
So, unlike a lot of gacha games where you're pulling for different characters Limbus has you pull for versions of the same main 12 characters in the narrative in a similar vein to pulling different classes in an RPG . This eliminates something I call Gacha Bloat: where a gacha game, after about 2-ish years, has so many characters and mechanics to it it can get confusing to follow things like meta and general gameplay loops. Limbus doesn't completely eliminate that bloat, but the things you're pulling for being the same twelve main characters you're already familiar with can help remove a bit of that overwhelming feeling of terminology and proper nouns. This makes it a lot easier to follow the story, narrative beats, and even the personalities and relations of the main cast as the game continues onward.
The Identities themselves also have a very basic and easy to follow storyline that is ultimately optional to follow. and as far as gameplay is concerned all the characters follow a specific goal depending on the focus of that Identity. Liu IDs are about Burn, Seven IDs are about Rupture, Zwei IDs are about defense and tanking, Kurokumo & Blade Lineage IDs are about Bleed and Poise respectively, so on and so forth.
All of this helps to reduce the amount of Gacha Bloat and keep things focused. The most you'd be overwhelmed by is specific identity types and general gameplay meta, and there's plenty of videos and redditors likely willing to help you in that regard. And since the Dispenser is always available to use almost any player at mid-game should have the ability to save up enough EGO Shards to access whatever Identity is in the meta for that season at the time.
Mind you, I'm mostly talking in terms of the mindset behind pulling certain characters. This can be fucked up in a number of ways from add more mechanics to bloat the gameplay, to making a more vertical form of progress instead of horizontal, to adding some new, meta-defining gameplay system that'd throw the current meta far into the drain. Uptie 4 was initially controversial for a reason, Charge IDs and EGOs are starting to fill the meta way too fast, the new level cap of 40 is less than a month away, and I'm hearing rumblings about people wanting Skill 4s and Skill 5s six months from now. There are still plenty of ways to bloat this game and how I'll feel about this 2 years from now when every Sinner will have about 10-15 different Identities and that deep-ish pond of gameplay mechanics turns into an extremely deep sinkhole might changed things, but for now I'm fine with it and think this could combat one of Gacha's bigger weaknesses for me.

In your opinion what's the ranking for all the Mettaton variants we made up
The criteria can either be personal favorites or least to most likely to succumb to a heart attack within the next 5 minutes, up to you
*Trophy boyfriend Mettas ranked by how much they make my brain buzz
Mettaddict: reluctant yet totally dependant on fast food to the point he can't control himself. Mega hawt!
Mettaglob: A whining pile of blubber trapped on a mega sized mobility scooter? Adorable! And he's got a bloated grease filled heart? Hawt!
Mettasub: A beloved celeb reduced to a whimpering overstuffed pet? Yes please! Pretty hawt.
Mettahog: Brainless hogbot so fat he's barely recognizable? Delish. Decently hawt.
Mettatits: Milk addicted hormoned up he bull? And he's got a useless plump cock? A good weekend treat. Kinda hawt.
Mettaslop: Classic hot slob who has no idea he's disgusting. I might grab one every so often if I'm feeling it. Situationally hawt.
