Update

While it is not quite a true wrap-up to the Summer Stagbells as (1) piece is still missing (multiple back-ups I had assigned flaked out over time, a new one just started working on it and it will be done as soon as possible), I still want to do this write-up in advance as I have to begin the sign-ups for the Christmas edition soon enough.

Again, I want to thank everyone for being patient, especially as the event grew into a much bigger scope than I anticipated when I first started it. I want to keep running it despite difficulties, and the best I could ask from people is to please, please make sure that you actually want to participate or have enough time to participate. Make a reminder to work on your piece! While in the past I used to send reminders, the event has grown too big for me to send reminders. ^^; 

Do not leave it for the last minute, especially if you do not work fast! 

I understand sometimes life gets in the way or unexpected things or changes happen, which is why I occasionally give extensions on a per-person basis. I like to remind again that it’s okay to drop out if you feel like you really can’t do it, but please do not wait for the deadline to decide. The earlier I know, the earlier I can assign a back-up and have pieces out in time. However, be warned that repeated drop-outs will eventually lead to a ban in the long run, as this is an art exchange, not a way to get free art.

With that, look forward to the Christmas Stagbells sign-ups in the upcoming month!

To celebrate pride month I've decided to make a part 2 of the killing transphobes post since it was given a community warning. (🚗🔨⚒️💥)

If my mom sees a significant amount of blood she gets lightheaded, and has fainted on some occasions. Once it happened when we were kids, I wasn't there to witness it but I heard the story from my dad. Basically my brothers, around 7 or 8 at the time, were playing outside while my mom was making their lunch, and she accidentally cut her finger. It wasn't anything serious, but it drew a fair bit of blood and she passed out. My dad saw this and rushed over, but he didn't really know what to do so he just sort of started slapping her to wake her up (not recommended, but he had no idea and panicked)

At that exact moment my brothers both came in from playing, and all they saw was our mom unconscious on the floor and our dad slapping her. So, like, without even saying a word to each other they both just INSTANTLY start whaling on him, like, full blown attack mode to defend our mom. Which obviously didn't help the situation, but she did wake up and everything was fine.

Now our dad says that he's actually really glad they attacked him over what they thought was going on, because it means he raised good boys. And I still think that's true, they're very good boys.
