Finished watching the Soul Eater anime

AND I LOVE MAKA AND SOUL HOLY SHIT, YOUR HONOR THEY ARE A DUO . NEVER SEPARATE THEM AHSJBXKZHSB

After watching jjk, Nobara was my 2nd favourite character because of how she's both badass and girly, but I was bummed that she didn't appear as much as I wanted her to in the anime, so I looked to other animes where a girl was the main character and saw Soul Eater had a female main protagonist.

The first episode and I was HOOKED. LOVED IT AAA MAKA KNOWS HOW TO KICK ASS AND SHE'S SO COOL AGSJWWJCOQLFJWK

At first I was kinda on the fence about the art style, but after getting into the first episode I positively ADORE IT. So much charm and style and exaggerated poses which kinda reminds me of ROTTMNT in a way. I see people mentioning it was Tim Burton-esque, and I see it too. A lot of halloween vibes which was very fitting at the time.

Anyways, the fight animation was great, I loved Maka (and Soul) and I was very invested,, until the fanservice came out. I felt like bashing my skull against the wall and just dying inside because of how much I couldn't handle the cringe. But I held out because Maka was my light in the darkness.

Super glad I did because Maka is so fun to watch as a character huehehe. Her dynamic with other characters is really fun, she's a capable fighter and knows how to get around in a fight. She even goes off the hinge and if you know me that makes me giggle excitedly ehhehehehehe (poor crona tho ;_;)

My brother told me "It's an oldie but it's a goodie" and (for the most part) I very much agree. I was late to this anime by 14 years but better late than never amirite?

Anyways, Soul and Maka are everything to me and they should NOT be separated. Though Maka looks like the reasonable one, they're both equally dumbasses. They bicker a lot and sometimes have serious arguments which cause them to split apart, but their friendship runs very deep. I love how I feel like they stand equal with eachother, both pull their weight and one's presence completes the other's, whether literally through the weapon-meister relationship, or figuratively through their friendship and uplifiting eachother when they're down in the dumps.

Soul genuinely really cares for her. Like, he shields Maka in the fight with Stein, Crona, and when she fell, he's there to pull her out the deep end when she's gone into Madness or when her knees buckle under the pressure of a battle or when she's furious beyond belief, and he's loyal as hell and will go through hell and back for her

And the feeling is very mutual! Maka is devastated when he took a hit for her and is determined to get stronger. The scene where she picks up Soul although her hands were burnt by him was hype as hell.

Their whole schtick of like "staying cool" is also so adorable i cant my heart-

The first half of the anime was fantastic. Though it pains me to say the second half was rather lackluster and the ending was disappointing imo. I've heard whispers of spoilers that they fumbled with the ending but I wanted to make that judgement by myself.

It baffles me why these studios don't just put the series on hiatus until more chapters from the manga releases.

Anyways, I'm currently picking up from the manga and I'm hoping for a better ending and story there ;u;

Pairing: Romantic/Platonic

Just a warning, I'm really new to RDR2 and have only really seen cutscenes and interactions.

If his character is off, I'll try to get better as I'm more acquainted with the source material.

Lenny is the youngest member of the gang.

He's also one of the most educated members due to his upbringing.

I feel like you and Lenny would both be some of the younger members in the gang.

You joined for your own reasons, one way or another you became an outcast… a misfit….

But then you found the gang… your new family.

Lenny ends up becoming a close friend of yours due to your similar ages.

You two end up sharing a lot of conversation as you survive in the gang.

You learn of his past as a slave and what happened to his father… in return you tell him your past.

It's a bit surprising how fast you clicked.

You two would aid one another in robberies while watched with older members of the gang.

You'd often have long intellectual talks or just talks in general.

Lenny is sometimes cocky and confident due to being young, yet he's also intelligent and fun-loving.

He's confident and loyal, always wanting to help Dutch and the gang.

When it comes to you Lenny can see you in a few ways as the requester was not specific.

A close friend… a sibling… a lover… it doesn't really matter for the concept.

Lenny would have a close connection to you due to your shared struggles in the gang and life before it.

Yet you both find mutual comfort in each other.

Lenny would no doubt be very attentive towards you.

He makes sure you always have a serving of food, he even helps you with education if you never learned.

Honestly, Lenny seems like such a sweet character.

He cares for you like family one way or another.

With how he always sits by you and defends you, other members certainly think he's taken a liking to you.

They even assume he has a romantic attraction to you (unless he clears it up).

It's actually a bit cute to see the two younger members of the gang get along.

He's clearly quite fond of you in some way.

It's a bit hard for me to say what would be his yandere characteristics but I'd say Lenny is loyal, caring, and protective.

He's probably not the most possessive person although he will stand up for you.

For example, if someone in the gang was harassing you he'd step in quickly.

He'd probably try to be charming by pushing you behind him to deal with the issue.

Lenny probably wouldn't be quick to pull his gun but he definitely is quick to defend you.

He cares deeply for you.

While when you first met he was excited to go on robberies and look for supplies with you… it's soon replaced with hesitance.

Lenny never thought of this until he was closer to you… but it seems so easy to lose you.

The thought scares him late at night when you're asleep and he's up late on guard.

You're both young and devoted to the gang… but he can't help but wonder if you deserved better?

Lenny begins to think you should stay at the camp while he goes and gets money/supplies.

Surely that will not only impress you but keep you safe?

I feel if pushed to it, Lenny may kill for you.

However he'd primarily try to convince you to stay at the camp to keep you safe.

If you asked Lenny why he's so worried I feel he'd try to avoid the conversation before blurting out his worries.

He's just been thinking… wouldn't it be better if you stayed out of trouble?

Lenny is genuinely just looking out for you.

He wants to protect you like a man should but at the same time… he feels he should do more than that.

Lenny is certainly like a guard to you.

Too much pestering? Feeling sick? Need any help?

Lenny always seems to be there to help you, you're family after all.

I feel like Lenny is certainly a tame yandere but would do anything he can to keep you if pushed into a corner.

He's a good kid according to other members.

He wouldn't be too possessive, wouldn't be too ruthless, just genuinely caring.

He may go overboard with it at times but he means well.

He takes you dancing at the camp, he hugs you close to comfort you, sometimes it feels like he's using you to soothe his anxieties.

However, you may not mind as Lenny is so genuine.

He isn't overly manipulative and doesn't often try to deceive you.

He'll tell you the truth most of the time, even venting his worries to you.

The best part about his yandere is that there are minimal red flags.

He's a bit clingy and protective, yet it's not too suffocating.

Him keeping you in the camp is certainly an odd change… but nothing too out of the ordinary.

He does have a point… the camp is a bit safer.

Concerning behavior would be constant fist fights, attempted murder, isolation, stuff like that.

While that may be possible with Lenny, it's rare.

He'd only fight if someone got on his nerves or if he's forced to, even then he usually finds a way to fix the situation.

Isolation isn't something he really considers as he knows you both see the gang as family.

Overall I feel Lenny can be seen as an overly caring best friend, big brother, or potential boyfriend.

He means well and wants to keep you out of trouble.

He won't start fights over you, but he'll end them.

Even if it requires violence… He'll make sure you stay out of harm's way.

After all… he cares for you, doesn't he?

What kind of man would he be if he didn't look after you so closely?

RAMBLES OF A VERY TIRED AUTHOR CHAN #I lost track bro

I originally said here that this wasn’t a vent post but it might be one after all oops. (I’m sorry I’m an over-sharer and this is my ramble blog.)

So I think I mentioned this here before (like years before, idk), but there is this guy who has been stalking me for forever now or whatever. Like, he’s basically the reason I don’t accept friend requests from people I don’t know on Discord and made it so only friends can message me, cause this man would pretend to be other people to talk to me. Anyways, on one of his MANY alts that he uses to send messages to me, he basically admitted to grooming me in the Pedo way when I was a minor!!! Fun 🥰🥰🥰🥰 (this is sarcasm)

But like, that literally explains SO MUCH OF THE THINGS IN SSEC, LIKE WHAT????

Like obviously I am not going in detail of the things that were in SSEC cause it makes me uncomfortable, but it does explain a lot of it, and seeing how afterwards I proceeded to get groomed by 2 other people back to back to BACK, LIKE. For one thing

I definitely feel like the tonal shift in the series was due to all of these events. Of course, I’m not going to get into every bad thing that happened to me due to being a naive girl making a stupid pokemon webcomic (sadly it’s a lot lol), but like, I didn’t even realize that I was groomed by multiple people until I was in my 20’s. (I mean, I am in my 20’s right now, but you know) and I literally was not aware that stalker man was being a pedo towards me when I was a minor until he admitted to me that he was being one- RECENTLY.

I do feel like how SSEC ultimately turned out was due to all of this. For the longest time, I was just surrounded by a lot of negativity. And, I kind of just kind of have the natural inclination to help people or be kind to people, and that ultimately just caused people to see that and use me over and over and over again, causing both the tonal shift in SSEC as well as me closing myself more and more off to people, which- really sucks honestly. (And only now I realize that that is literally the same thing that happened to Vay, wtf)

Like- I want friends. Nothing Romantic, no strings attached, no weird power dynamics, just PLATONIC friends. But I’m extremely shy and awkward, and ofc, extremely closed off ^^;;; So it’s pretty hard for that to happen, I guess.

But I suppose that is why I like/obsess about Box 31 so much.

Box 31 is basically just wish fulfillment for me.

Because, like. The only thing I’ve ever really wanted, the thing I have been looking for, for years, are friends. And, the whole story of box 31 are outcasts making friends, and supporting each other, and growing together, and that makes me very very happy.

Living vicariously through my characters!!! I want them to be happy, I want them to smile, I want others to smile too!!! I don’t want to keep drawing sad things, yeah I like drama, there will be drama in Box 31, but in ssec it’s just so endless. I always wanted the characters to be happy at the end, but where is that end if there is an endless sea of issues?

Idk. I just remember me being freshly 18, crying on the ground (cringe ik) to my way older roommate that I just wanted friends, and I wonder if things would have been better if someone just took my hand and became the friend I needed at the time instead of me becoming totally isolated and the stalker using that to get closer to me.

Ninjago Ship Thoughts

First and foremost I’m gonna tell you my head-canons for the ninjas sexualities since it’s probably gonna affect my thoughts on the ships.

Cole - Gay - the entire “dad I’m a ninja” is so fucking queercoded so that’s my reasoning.

Kai - Bi - this man primarily flirts with women but he gives strong bisexual energy and I stand by that.

Zane - Pan - I don’t feel like Zane has a strong enough grasp on gender for it to affect who he dates.

Jay - Omni - I feel like he has a preference for women but I feel in my soul that he’s at least had a crush on a guy before.

Nya - Bi - I don’t know if she’s ever had a crush on a girl but a girl has definitely had a crush on her and she would not be opposed to dating a girl.

Pixal - Pan - I feel like she has a better grasp of gender than Zane but gender doesn’t affect who she likes.

All other characters are up in the air for me. I lean towards seeing lloyd as aroace but I’m not certain. Anyway I’m with my thoughts. (These are in no particular order)

(Jaya) Jay/Nya - let’s start with a canon ship! I like how this relationship is portrayed in later seasons and they have some cute moments earlier in the series, but I definitely like there relationship post Nadakhan the best (I’ve butchered the genies name I know it) Jaya is sweet and I’m happy that Nya was given strong characterizations outside of her relationship with men overall I’d say this is a solid 8/10.

(Pixane) - Zane/Pixal - I love this ship so much, she has half his fucking heart and there both so great. Zane and Pixar are both fully independent who love each other and there so cute. I think one appeal of this ship for me is that I can see the both as romantic or platonic partners because they both mean so much to the other. Anyway love this ship 9.6/10

(Kailor) - Kai/Skylor - I love Skylor she’s super cool but this pair really only interacts once and awhile to briefly flirt before they just go there separate ways. Obviously both of them are busy so it makes sense that they don’t get a lot of time together. Kai definitely had a crush on Skylor and I think Skylor reciprocated those feelings. There cut and interesting but don’t have as much development as they need for me to be compelled to be invested. Solid 6.5/10.

(Llorumi) - Lloyd/Harumi - these two have a fascinating dynamic that I think is really fun to watch but I cannot see them as romantic partners. I know some people see them as siblings and I really don’t see them that way. And again there really interesting as a duo and while I want the pair to heal and improve there relationship I don’t really want them to date. Overall 5/10 cool duo don’t see them as romantic.

(Lloykita) - Lloyd/Akita - It’s pretty cute, I love Akita so I do hope we see her again. There relationship feels like a summer relationship they have this brief sweet period of time together and they leave on good terms unsure if they’ll ever meet again or if the other will still have feelings if they do meet again. I also really like the idea of these to being together in a queer platonic way. It’s really cute and I love both of the characters individually so it’s a pretty solid ship in my opinion. 8/10 it’s sweet.

(Conia) - Cole/Vania - it feels like a lesbian and a gay man being best friends. I love these two I think there great friends and could even see them being platonic partners but like I don’t see them doing more than that. Solid 5/10 cool pair don’t see it as romantic.

(Lava) - Cole/Kai - There so cool and I think this ship is really fun. I think that these two are both really great characters who mesh well I can totally see them dating and think it’s a really cute ship. These two are bonding over there weird ass family lives and crippling self doubt! These two are a cute pair 9/10

(Bruise) - Jay/Cole - these two are so silly and honestly this is a cute ship. I think Cole was definetley involved in Jays realization that he wasn’t straight. I think this is a cute ship but not one I have super strong feelings on 7/10

(Mudshock) - Jay/Cole/Nya - the best solution for a love triangle is polyamory. That said I wasn’t a big fan of the love triangle but in Ninjago since Cole didn’t actually seem interested in Nya, and Nya only was interested in Cole cause a matchmaking system said so. These three are definitely great friends who joke about the love triangle and hang out but I don’t know that it’s my favorite ship. 6.7/10 Cute but not great.

(Polyninja) - Jay/Cole/Kai/Zane - I think this is probably one of the greatest things I have ever seen. All of these characters are so close and care for each other so much. Together they can help each other grow and thrive. It’s really an awesome ship solid 10/10

hmm today I will reveal my personal favorite ships in welcome home

if you disagree with me it's fine, just keep in mind not everyone's ships are the same

Wally and Barnaby: the first ever ship I thought of when joining the fandom. My initial thought was that the basic formula of "two best friends" and "size difference" would definitely be a win-win for the fandom, but I was actually quite surprised to see some people who despise this ship, claiming it to be "zoophilic". Needless to say that I haven't heard or seen such argument against the Fluffybird (Red Guy and Duck from DHMIS) ship, but oh well. Anyways, I just think they're very neat and could definitely be classified as a "best childhood friend who have a little something going on" dynamic. And! While I mostly see these two as mutual pining partners, I can totally view them as a simple platonic "two guys being besties and having fun"! Also I don't know if any Welcome Home ships have names, but I saw someone call this pairing Wallaby and I think I'll go with that :)

Frank and Julie: now, listen to me on this one please. I know perfectly well Frank and Eddie are a canon couple, and I'm down with that! It's just that I'm a sucker for a more platonic-romantic kind of pairing between best friends. They just seem so funky together and have the good ol' "opposites attracts" dynamic with them. Again, same case as Wallaby, I ship these two romantically, but cool with them just being pals. There isn't enough male and female friendship representation in media, and I personally believe that Frank and Julie are a good example of such. My heart just simply melts whenever a Frank/Julie art appears on my feed, it's so wholesome and soft..

Howdy and Poppy: ... okay. I don't really have enough evidence to backup this one but uh. My brain just went and created this pairing in my head and I absolutely love it. JUST GENERALLY SPEAKING both of them have a parental vibe, and the contrast between a huge green guy with multiple limbs and a giant bird with mostly red feathers is just.. pleasing for my eyes (complementary colors! complementary colors!). While the fandom widely agrees that Poppy is a "worried mom friend of the group", I haven't seen anyone say that Howdy is much of an "outgoing dad friend of the group". Personality wise they'd make a pleasant dynamic and with how both of them basically take care of others in their own ways could be played out too. And just AHHHH thinking about them makes my brain very happy!!!! if no one draws fanart of them I WILL (threat).

Mickrin has gotten too real tbh I’m planning a new long af meta post for them… As for mickchuck… Eh it’s a fine and fun ship, I haven’t gotten the angle/manifesto yet though. They have a lot of comedic potential and I do love their mini arc in the background in canon of Mick thinking he’s a self-important greedy asshole, meeting him and getting protected by him, talking it out and he ends up implicitly joining the half-foot union~ But I don’t think they actually mesh well. Being foils to each other though there’s inherently a lot that could be played with tho. I really like this small Mick & Chil comparison thread on poverty for example

What tips the scale in favor of them getting along? They both like to joke and good cheer, like when Mick tells jokes and funny anecdotes to his party at a tavern in a daydream hour extra. They couldn’t drink together much though because Mick has no alcohol tolerance and gets sleepy fast, see the alcohol chart. I could totally see a scenario where Chil peer pressures him to drink in his evil little schemes to have a laugh at the expense of others though that’d be a fun fic I bet. Also they’re both able to be serious when it counts, I could see them being coworkers and it not being horribly, they’re both careful with money too so that helps. In canon they were able to grow to a spot where they got along decent.

Ok and what in favor of them not getting along? Oh god they would butt heads so so much. They’re both very proud people but in different ways for opposite reasons. Mick doesn’t like to be bossed around or when people have like, for a lack of a better phrasing too much morals lol, like when Kabru said they wouldn’t steal the corpse retrievers’ money. Meanwhile Chilchuck hating not being on the right side of the law and looking down on half-foots who like, ~demean themselves and give a bad reputation to half-foots while doing so~ like pretending to be kids for scams is a whooole thing and important to his character. Like mentioned earlier they took very different proached to poverty and just as I don’t think Mick would apologize for having had to do crime it’s convictions that are deepseated for Chilchuck and partly built on a foundation of trauma and defense mechanism, wanting to be a model minority and shifting blame ykyk. I think Chil saving Mick gained him a lot of points in Mick’s esteem but I do think mutual respect would be a bumpy road with these two, though I can see it. What I do struggle with though is seeing them fall in love or working out in a romantic relationship.

There’s a lot but honestly the age gap doesn’t do it favors for me at all, I do think it’d influence their relationship platonic or otherwise, I have trouble not seeing the mentor angle but Mick could vehemently reject it which could even the fields out I suppose hmm. Because Mick’s deal is clinging onto power imbalance in relationships bc it makes him feel safer, because he’s broke and unlovable and obvi if someone has the opportunity to they’ll leave him behind etc etc, idk I think for him it’s best in a romantic relationship to be as even as possible, though this is a nebulous statement. I think he’s a bit hyperaware/hypervigilant when it comes to power dynamics, subconsciously, both bc he has to be careful with those as someone from a vulnerable class in vulnerable circumstances but also because that’s the oense he sees relationships through as well, if there’s an age or maturity imbalance I do think he’d latch onto that, wether really being comforted and dependent on Chilchuck’s "I’ll take care of everything" side or being put off by his air of importance because he has an aversion to authority. I dooo like that Chilchuck is very confrontational about others’ flaws because I think Mick needs that, but I also think Chilchuck is too proud and singeing to drive the points home well hm, too personal and impersonal at once. I’ll give it this thoughhh Mick having an intense fear of abandonment that turns his relationship abusive meanwhile Chilchuck’s wife left him? Oh hohoho tasty. Especially since I do think part of Chilchuck’s situation was neglecting his wife’s feelings and taking her for granted, borderline dismissive of her worries and being generally averse to analyze his or his family’s flaws… Two guys, sitting in a tree clinging onto people in diametrically opposed ways crying about their most important person leaving them. I do like for Mick when getting into a relationship is a way to cope with the Too Much fear and posssessiveness and everything he feels with Kuro, expanding on his social circle in the most convoluted ill advised way gdbdg. I just knowww mickchuck would be hella toxic but if someone writes a fic where they get somewhere good earnestly that’d be so interesting, just very shaky grounds but like I can see slivers of it in my mind it’d be dope.

But yeah like, would they balance each other well? Hmm. I def think Chil could teach a lot to Mick about relationships and emotional maturity but he’s not exactly great at either feelings or relationships as well yk lmaoo, and I don’t really think it’s mutual in that, I guess Mick could call Chil out on his pride but I don’t think he’d really change Chil for the better in his own right you know. Part of why I think there’s an imbalance also I guess. In every way Chil just has More and they don’t really know each other/what’s best for each other esp since they don’t really earnestly see each other in canon idk idk am I making sense. Chil’s not good at seeing others’ perspectives and he’s not really sensitive in general even when talking about topics where he should be, I think it’s a coin flip if he even tries or not depending on the situation.

Obligatory "How does Kuro fit into this Mickbell ship" but I think- How possessive Kuro gets in canon is up in the air bc we don’t work off a lot, I do think Kuro might get scared if Mick gets very close to Chil because he’s also worried about getting separated from Mick. The union leader? The union Mickbell alwayss told him he couldn’t join because they’d take Kuro away from him? They wouldn’t agree to them being together they would steal him etc etc? I see a lot of ground for him being antsy. Ohh yeah I forgot to mention it earlier but I def think Chilchuck would be horrified at the Mick & Kuro situation and be quick to be very vocal about it. It’s mister working rights advocate it’s mister "you’re sick in the head Laios" idk that’s an explosion waiting to happen I think. Ok but where I actually wanted to get to is that I love in Mick ships when Kuro is very happy because "Mick’s making friends!! He’s such an anxious child but he’s opening up to the world again aw yay" super supportive because of the Kuro extra comic with Kabru haha, even then there’s def ground for conflicted feelings, but yes I think it’s fun when Kuro is the emotional support very supportive of the relationship and happy of "Mickbell’s growth" meanwhile the relationship could be radioactively toxic but he doesn’t notice bc 1) toxic relationships is what he’s used to and he doesn’t notice it’s off 2) Mickbell is an angel who could do no wrong.

Also a note: I’ve been thinking of making a translation psa about it but Chilchuck’s type for blondes is specific to the golden type, bc in japanese the word was kinpatsu 金髪, which yes is used to refer to many shades but literally translates as ~gold hair~ and from what we see in canon it does seem to be specific to the golden shade, especially since Falin’s hair is infamously described as light brown (shown in picture below) so dirty blonde doesn’t quite cut it bc of different cultural conceptions of colors. Which, yk, it’s anyone’s choice what they want this to mean for their ship, wether it’s still a "close enough" and gets Mickbell pretty points or if it sparks nothing idk. Yk me though I think it’s so romantic when someone’s in love with someone who’s not their ideal type it’s so <3

What I’d love to see for them ship or otherwise is- They both live in Kahka Brud, Chilchuck opens a general store post-canon, Mickbell opens a variety store post-canon… Business rivals when. The potential for sitcom shojo shenanigans is immense

So yes yes, interesting ship, lots to work with there, idk if they’d make each other better or worse but it’d be an entertaining trainwreck at the very least I’m sure. If it wasn’t clear my fave angle for them is prob the bonding over poverty trauma, I bet you dan do a lot of fun shojo plots and enemies to lovers energy and whatnot. Hopefully this was good food for thought idk I love Chilchuck I love Mickbell now I need to see them duel to the death. Their "I am not a person who can be loved for a very long time" swagger 💔

I don't know what it is, but that particular ship just happened to scratch an itch in my brain I didn't know I had lol. And I only really started shipping it around a year and a half ago! A King and a knight who have worked together through the ages and both have really interesting and different personalities and likes and dislikes... I have a lot of fun with them! I never thought I'd ever gain the confidence to regularly produce and share ship content on any platform. So I was happily surprised and grateful to find a little corner on the internet here to share my thoughts on them with willing readers haha.

Other than that.... I don't have a strict list of ships I stick to! I feel like I keep saying this kind of thing, but in most cases I get more enjoyment seeing other people's interpretations of ships more than producing them myself! The Kirby universe is rich with characters and a wonderful space to explore character interactions and relationships with each other (platonic or romantic or otherwise!)

I mean, I know everyone interprets Kirby character ages differently which is also cool and all! I just have my own set of established headcanons that I've been slowly cultivating since I got introduced to the series 15 or so years ago.

I personally see characters like Kirby, Bandee, the other Waddle Dees, Ribbon, Adeleine, Gooey, Prince Fluff, Elfilin, etc. as children. They're powerful and brave and very unique from each other, but still kids in my eyes.

And then there's the characters like Dedede, Meta Knight, Queen Ripple, Daroach, Hyness, etc. that are characterized definitively as adults. And other characters like Magolor, Taranza, Susie, the Mage Sisters, etc. that might be interpreted differently by different people, at least from what I have personally seen! (But I see them as adults, personally)

Again this is all my personal opinion haha. I quietly stay away from ships that mix characters from my personal child and adult categories above- (which are not exhaustive lists because this post would be ten million words if I tried to list every single Kirby character, and are my personal characterizations and not me trying to impose my views as the one, canon interpretation!).

OC x Canon is also enjoyable in my book as long as the ages and dynamics are appropriate and consensual for both parties :)

And I don't need or want to make a list of everything I stay away from or anything. I don't feel that strongly about it. I guess my biggest personal example is that if someone ships Metakirby or Dedekirby (or their respective mirror versions), I'm not going to enjoy or support that no matter what their creator's justifications/reasonings for shipping those are. I'm just going to stay away from that ardently.

Anyway, I'm not trying to be controversial or say my opinion is fact either! These are just my personal thoughts and feelings and I curate my internet experience accordingly. My interests change all the time, I just enjoy seeing character interactions and stories written with love and passion!

....If I had to pick another ship that I like thinking about, I guess I'd pick Magoranza. It's fun to think about how they'd interact with each other, and sometimes I like to think of Magolor and Taranza as Garak and Bashir from Star Trek hehehe.

TL;DR: At the time of writing this post I only like creating metadede content for Kirby ships but I quietly enjoy a variety of other people's ships.

I love being in a feedist relationship, but it is always a thing where the partner feels like they are almost humoring me? Albeit, they have always been enthusiastic to "let themselves go" and be spoiled with food, but it would be nice to find someone who gets sexually excited over the overindulgence and gaining (especially when I love to cook and haven't had a relationship yet where my partner hasn't gained over 100 pounds in a matter of months).

Because look, I'm gonna level with ya, only one of my relationships had feedism elements. And tho I was super asexual / sex repulsed at the time, it was still the most memorable relationship I've had to this day. Infact, it was so fun because of that aspect, that I downright refuse to date someone who isn't a feeder, or at the very least, a fat admirer. It was just too fun goin' on fast food runs at 2 AM and piggin' out together while they rubbed my belly.

Once I get a lil taste of heaven, I refuse anything else. Once I know I can have something I want, I make it for myself. So to me, the patience is worth it. I've been single for what feels like forever, but that's what happens when you're picky lol.

By all means, if you love this person, and you think they are worth keeping, then do that if ya want. If you're monogamous, then it's your decision to make.

If your relationship is non monogamous, however, I don't see any problem at all except that yer missin' a feedee in the equasian.

Remember to not settle while also keeping a realistic mindset on what you want. It's possible to do both. I hope your situation gets more favorable in terms of figuring out a romantic/ sexual outlet for feedism.

it was so long ago that i can't tell you much about the first spn fics i've read. one that i remember i read early on was on fanfiction.net and wasn't wincest but destiel. it had dean traveling through different universes for a reason i can't remember and in most of those other universes cas and him were banging. but what stuck with me when i read it was that there was one universe where dean had died and sam and cas were hooking up haha. the further details of that fic escape me.

What makes Usopp so shippable for you (or even overall, what do you enjoy about Usopp's dynamics in his gen/romantic ships)?

He was one of my favorites from the little I've seen/read of OP, so I'm curious to know your thoughts!

What a cool ask! I have an old post both on Tumblr and Dreamwidth about Usopp's emotional role among the Strawhats in general and his platonic dynamics with Luffy, Zoro, Nami, Sanji, and Chopper in particular. In romantic ships, well, when it comes to Luffy, Zoro, Nami, and Sanji, I would just add romantic and sexual attraction to the platonic foundations mentioned above. With Luffy - Usopp is up for silly shenanigans and while he will veto the most bizarre ideas Luffy might come up with in bed, he's likely to caught up in fun flights of fancy. I view Luffy as pretty uninterested in dominance play in the bedroom and I think Usopp would be all on board with that, too. They have a really strong bond in canon and it would be a silly and for the most part - if not always - harmonious ship. (Naturally there would be plenty of slapstick violence when Luffy is being idiotic.) With Zoro - the chill relationship I mentioned in the old post would serve them well in a romantic relationship. Now, I do think that Zoro is someone who will always place Luffy's dream and wellbeing higher than anything else, but I actually think that Usopp is similar to Zoro in that regard, and so it makes good sense to ship them. At the same time that they are mostly pretty chill, there's also an interesting potential tension there especially tied to them both being so much engaged in the idea of being a "warrior", with inner and outer strength, pride, and masculinity - but not in the combative way that Zoro and Sanji have. -That being said, I also think Usopp/Sanji/Zoro makes for a spicy yet ultimately functional three-way-ship.

With Nami: they are just such good buddies and they're easily tactile and it's not that hard for me to see them in a more physical and sensual light. Nami generally doesn't seem to be into dudes but I can see Usopp as her one exception. ...Except I also like both Luffy/Nami/Usopp and Sanji/Nami/Usopp! Look, Usopp is just so great for OT3 ships. With Sanji: it can easily be seen as bros with benefits, but they also both have a romantic side in common, even as they're both heteronormative enough to have assumed that romantic side will be directed towards women. Sanji/Usopp can have a delicious yearning undertone, whether mutually or not. With Robin: here the maturity gap might be just a bit too big (I'm not thinking so much in number of years, more in personality types) but there are still ways I can see them working together. Even more than Robin/Usopp separately, though, I think Franky/Robin/Usopp would be a delightful OT3. With Franky: despite Franky being older than Robin in years, he's got more childish sides to him and I don't feel as much of a maturity gap with him. Him and Usopp have a number of things in common and they hang out a lot. And one more OT3 I've seen in the wild is Franky/Zoro/Usopp which I also think would be a fine ship! (Incidentally, putting Usopp at the end of most of these shipnames here doesn't say anything about my headcanons for sex preferences, it's just a random way of writing the shipnames. Personally I see Usopp as a switch, most of the Strawhats as switches, and Zoro as a bottom. But I'm totally on board with other interpretations too!) Then Kaya of course is the one with the canon shiptease and I think has a pretty good chance of becoming canon at the end. I like the ship - but only if either Usopp is willing to settle down for at least ten years or so on an island and stay put, or Kaya is healthy enough to sail with adventures as a shipdoctor with Usopp. I don't want Usopp to be an absentee husband and father like Yasopp was. I was going to go on naming other ships but if you haven't read or watched much of One Piece I'm not sure if they would mean much to you. Summing up, I think the one caveat with shipping Usopp is that he's pretty young in years and while he's seen and experienced lots of things on their journey, he's still not the most mature character out there. So for these reasons many people in the One Piece world might not be into him. Of course there could be other reasons he wouldn't be their type too. Obviously he's not conventionally handsome or consistently fearless and confident! But many of Usopp's qualities are on the social and emotional side and the way he's a tactile dude with flexible personal boundaries means he's easy to ship all over the place, in my eyes!

I do ship it though. I'm a multishipper for stranger things and am admittedly I'm not obsessed with it but I think it's cute and has a really interesting dynamic and history. In fics and AU's I can get behind it. I just don't think it can satisfyingly become endgame canon because at this point post S4 their friendship, the entire groundwork for a romantic relationship between them to me, needs to be mended before any romance can happen. Mike's relationships with both Will and Mike are fractured. Whether or not they end up/stay romantic or are all completely platonic by the end matters less to me than them getting those strong bonds back. That isn't not shipping it, it's just emphasizing less romantic aspects of their relationship.

Shipping is not about it going canon, it's about wanting to explore a dynamic. Sometimes that's thinking something should be canon but other times it's having fun smooshing dolls together in different scenarios.

A ship having a basis in canon doesn't mean it will be canon. I've had a lot of ships in my time in fandom (and before) sometimes with that support sometimes not. Sometimes they're canon and sometimes not. None of that stops me from having fun shipping things, or digging into characters and their relationships. That's what's fun about fandom. It doesn't matter what relationship is canon if you're able to explore it.

Just because I'm talking about how I don't think their relationship developing from fractured platonic into romantic can be done justice by the show, doesn't mean I don't ship it. I just ship it differently than a lot of other people. My post belongs in the tag because it discusses the potential romantic aspect of Mike and Will, but that it may not come to to fruition by the end of the series because of the complicated feelings surrounding them and El. It belongs in the tag just the same as an unrequited love fic belongs even if it is never mutual. It's exploring an aspect of a romantic/possibly romantic relationship. I'm not bashing it or the shippers. Just talking about it.

Meya - Kinda same with Liluthe. She's pretty solitary and hard to get along with but def' more lenient with girliepops. Lance - vampire rich boy so any anything that vibes with that is automatically on the table. in terms of shipping, their poly potential is super specific. him and destrian are sort of that immortal couple that is just off and vibing with their own plots most of the time. so the third or fourth or whatever would have to also be sort of chill like that kdfgbdg. if that makes sense. anything sexual or romantic on lance's side would need to be masc but des swings whatever way so it could totally be a femme in a lil. ykno queer platonic but also more than platonic poly situation.

at a first glance for interactions in general, immed go to Eric. any other vampires could be good fits for antagonistic or friendly dynamics. again, anyone higher-class and up there in status could be coming across him.

Destrian - See above. I like to describe Des as a dryer, more sarcastic version of Clark so anyone that might fit that fdkjgnbdg. lotta trauma tho. also the curse thing so like. their poly ship or even anyone platonic would need to like...be able to stomach him just being dead pretty often.

Lucifer - Eric so far kdfjgbdfg. Anyone that's a girlboss type character or ig any character up there that needs to be gently humbled oop. She's super put together and big time healed from their own trauma so any muse that might need that sort of rock, ig.

Michael - The opposite. she's messy and angry and like actively trying to work through her shit. any artists or writers or related to books would be good for her. anyone that can stomach her personality. she's essentially the second favorite child going through burnout so i can see characters that might be the foil to her sort of messy and chaotic state working.

Olethe - Kenny seems like a good fit either way. otherwise she's def' a girl's girl. i can see her and salem matching well. Speaking of your lovers on the run, Dallas or Mayhew might be fun with either of the cursed siblings. Bas maybe

Mi-cha - sapphic older hitman/assassin? cmon my brain immed goes to Beatrix or any of the KB babes. or even Kell might be a good muse to thread with.

Kyle - Brain says Lauden because both old dumb men. otherwise Kyle is this older hunter with a reputation from when he was young. he's 'retired' but is always itching to get back in. Would be fun to have him matched with a character that can immediately see past that cute dorky single guy energy and see him for the trained killer he actually is fdkjgbdfg

Cassius - I dont have him on here yet but he was a Payday oc i made general crime. If you've got any grungy rat people, he's your dude. So any tattoo artists or criminals or Dacre with the street racing and forging, Jessen might work. He's totally primed for any sort of supernatural au so that's an option too. (the obvious route is to make him a werewolf but iDK lmaoooo)

Cache - She's a bit harder since she really doesn't do in person communication. she's essentially this information hub and hotline for hunters. honestly i love her to death but she makes for a better BG character or npc than anything kdjfgbg. but im always open to ideas with her. but obviously she's gonna be good for any monster hunter or even just supernatural creature in general. she is very anti-vampire though so there's that.

Elliot - Anyone crime, tbh. Again, he's more of a good connection and character to mention in the background. i haven't really put my thought into him so far kfdnbggf.

And then I just have faces I wanna do stuff with but no real concrete places for them yet. dkjfgbdg

also kinda wanna reboot an old ass and chaotic oc who i made a joke to be the complete opposite of Clark and he gained sentience lmao. He started purely crime as this comical henchman character but i developed him into supernatural by making him such a lucky and chaotic motherfucker he pulled a Devil Went Down to Georgia and walked away being unable to die. just like idk if you smushed loki and dionysus and every fun loving chaos entity together and made him a douchebag looking dude except he's actually super chill but like in a i think we should beat sex offenders to death with bricks type chill jdfbgdfg. no fc ive settled on but honestly i just picture that tall cringe white boy wearing crazy shit vibes yung gravy brings to the table.

well my dear the time has finally come, thank you so so much for your consistent support for this blog, the interaction and for genuinely being a sense of comfort for me. i put a bit more extra time into this one, i wanted it to be just right xo

 Some believe true love is a thing, and though we can’t be certain of this we can be certain that Jay is in love with you. It’s a no brainer on his part, he swears he isn’t vain, but you speak to a deeper part of him as it is like looking in a mirror when he looks at you. Despite this he still sees through his own perceptions to see the beauty in everything you do, everything that you are and that alone. This is one of those instances where platonic comforts turned into wanting the occasional kiss on the lips. Somehow it all seemed to unfold like the prettiest flower in the world, love in its purest form, all this poetry is  my way of saying that it caught him off guard despite things falling into place with much ease.

Jay’s need to be around you comes from his joy in making you feel that little bit shyer than usual. It’s actually so cute when you really think about it, his love language relies on the subtleties of your relationship regardless of whether it is platonic or romantic. He does it in the sweetest, most wholesome ways ever, if your voice falters when his gaze is fixed on you, he will smile and hit you with the “come again?” line. It’s all in good fun, wait, it’s actually more than that, he wants to explore the deepest parts of your personality without getting all obnoxious or psychological about it. Jay is truly so gentle with you; his behaviour is second nature to him at this stage. You definitely wrote that off as Jay just being a nice likeable guy until you started dating him, the penny dropping when you realised that he doesn’t even bat an eye when Sunoo squeals out for help. You reveal domestic tendencies in him that are otherwise hidden, they are so well hidden that he didn’t even know he had them he just assumed that he had an appreciation for you and was being a standard guy. It’s then that you take the time to remind him that he is THE standard.

It doesn’t take a genius to figure this out, but Jay is actually so comfortable in your relationship, he has his excitable moments, but he has really come to appreciate just how reserved you are, which relates to the primarily cosy home lifestyle that both of you reenforce. You’re basically twinning with the whole default walking pace and while he does enjoy carnivals and laser tag he totally uses both as an excuse to flex how cool a boyfriend he is he still revels in the comforts that are having  heart to heart conversations with you or reading books in silence. If you yearn for something that’s that little bit more intimate and thrilling Jay won’t hesitate to grab his guitar and serenade you with those sweet acoustics. This is a sidenote but one that is so precious nonetheless. If you ever wanted to feel the music through your own hands, feeling the many love songs each note sings to you, Jay would lead your hands to the neck of his guitar, placing his hands atop yours he would guide you in playing your favourite song.

Jay was never one to see the world in high definition and in colour, but the day you gifted him with rose coloured glasses he swore he would never dare take them off. There are unusual circumstances surrounding you and Jay, the rose-coloured glasses he wears aren’t deceiving him, they’re actually allowing him to see everything beautiful that you are.

Hear me out. I get that the two of you are seemingly opposites but sometimes things don’t go quite to plan and you end up falling for someone who seems to bear little resemblance to you, and this is the case. The whole dynamic for you and Beomgyu is just that, yeah it happened, and it was a surprise to both of us, but it works, and I wouldn’t sacrifice it for the world. Being completely honest with yourself you expected to feel more inclined to date Taehyun or Soobin, which was why Beomgyu didn’t even try to woo you, he just knew that there was a fifty-fifty chance of you liking him or you didn’t. Such heavy thinking was unlike him especially while he sat next to you at the arcade spinning the wheel of his Mario Kart at a rapid speed. He wanted to beat all of you guys but each time he glanced off to the side he would see you and he couldn’t prevent his mind from wandering.

He didn’t tell you until your first date, but he likes a woman who is kind of reserved, you actually got a slight chuckle out of the fact that he was using Yeonjun and Taehyun to describe his perfect woman which was you. You were reserved and thought a lot more than the average person like Taehyun and you sometimes loved to be lazy and enjoy yourself like Yeonjun. All of his words were out of the goodness of his heart. He was fumbling to express how much he admired you.

Beomgyu may seem like he’s far too loud, extroverted and that bit chaotic, but he knows where to draw the line but beyond that he actually seeks people who can be his voice of reason. He doesn’t want you to feel like you have to take care of him, but he just appreciates the fact that you are so reserved and often see further into the future than he could at any given time. I’m not saying Beomgyu is a passenger princess who likes you taking control in most ways, I am saying that, but he still likes his decisions being questioned. Like if he wants to go out and you say, “Hey actually why don’t we stay inside and do *Insert relaxing activity*” Beomgyu will wear the most stunning grin because he has now gotten the rush he was seeking.

Most of your relationship is actually quite relaxed, honestly, it’s surprising that you got him to sit still for more than a few minutes. Beomgyu just likes being held by you and resting his head on your shoulder, letting his bangs tickle your neck. Despite this he has his ways when it comes to you, he gently holds your emotions in the palms of his hand when you decide to let it all out. Hey so i too read your yooseven hc post but I wonder how would seven show his care towards yoosung cuz in that post i mainly see yoosung is like mainly the who is the "giver". And im not saying its bad (please dont take my words negatively) because i can also see seven himself feeling like yoosung is the one who "does more" than him in the relationship and perhaps may feel insecure about it from time to time because he never really had someone go this far for him, its not something he is used to.

And at the same time, while seven for most of his life have been the "caregiver" mainly because he is aware that he is the stronger twin and the one who could do something (so its more out of necessity) yoosung on the other hand has the innate need to be needed and be the "bigger" person even tho unlike seven he never had to feel the compulsion to be the said "bigger" person out of necessity because he has always been the youngest both in rfa and his family but he wants to be someone his loved ones can rely on because thats what makes him feel personally fulfilled, thats his love language. Hmm, yes, yes, I can totally see what you're talking about, anon! Relationships are messy, romantic or platonic, so it's only a given for both of them having to face a few difficulties, these ones included. Now, this is only my personal interpretation based on how I portray these characters, so take my thoughts with a grain of salt!

All I can say is that it's a process. A messy one. It all depends on the context. Do they confess their feelings to each other before taking care of Mint Eye? After? Does Yoosung have to deal with Saeyoung's avoidance like his mc's do during his route? Or do they have no time for that? Small details like these do matter in the long run. There are many, many ways you can write them getting together, and that's what makes it fun to play around with in the first place.

When it comes to the already established relationship... I believe they'll make it work. Not without a couple of mishaps, of course. Yoosung, in comparison to Saeyoung, is someone who is very open to communication, and he has no problem with openly talking about his feelings and asking Saeyoung to do the same. Saeyoung, on the other hand, will have some struggles with that aspect. It'll take him some time to move on from his previous ways of dealing with any difficulties, however big or small. This might lead to some conflicts between the two.

It's always hard to see your loved one pretending like everything's alright or outright denying that there's a problem when you know they don't have to do it alone. Saeyoung does this from the place of love, he really does. He doesn't want to burden anyone with his struggles and he'd much rather use this anxious energy to make his loved ones happy instead of making them needlessly worry. It's not healthy, but it's the only way he knows how to deal with his issues. For Yoosung, this might come across as Saeyoung not trusting him to understand what he's going through, and that stings. It's like Saeyoung thinks he's not strong enough to handle it. Yoosung has a... personal grudge against anyone keeping secrets from him. For a good reason. So, yes, this can become a major problem for them.

But, that doesn't mean they can't make it work. They care about one another. Saeyoung is not smothering Yoosung with gifts or putting up a lighthearted facade in front of him out of annoyance. He's doing it because he genuinely believes that's the right thing to do. I truly think Yoosung can figure it out. He's a deeply empathetic person at heart. He might get frustrated at times and he might need some time to get his thoughts in order, but he knows Saeyoung cares for him. And he knows when he's having a hard time. The tricky part is figuring out how to have this important talk.

It's really about balance. No relationship is perfect, just like none of us are perfect. Neither Yoosung nor Saeyoung had a serious romantic relationship before, so it's going to be very clumsy at times, but that's okay. At the end of the day, Saeyoung would never want to hurt the ones he loves most. He is willing to take notice when his actions start having a negative effect on Yoosung, and he is more than willing to apologize. As for Yoosung, he wants to know the real Saeyoung, more than anything. He might get a bit heated and pushy at times, but he will learn how to be more mature.

As for the way they show affection to one another... again, it's about communication. Saeyoung is the type of person who will show his love through his actions, while Yoosung is more on a verbal side. I truly think they know each other well enough where these differences won't be a problem. Saeyoung doesn't mind getting all mushy and romantic at times to see Yoosung blush and giggle. Meanwhile, Yoosung knows Saeyoung's gifts are so much more than just physical objects.

Ok, honestly speaking, when I first got into fandom I was surprised by the amount of fans this specific character had because, as you said, he appeared only one and a half times. And then I fell into his trap too and now I'm a fan of him.

I love Chang a lot and I think he has so much potential for many arcs and stories and things to explore with him! Like first of all he was an orphan already and then found his new instant bestie and then a new family but had to say goodbye to said bestie?! His first question when he's saved from drowning was "Cool but why bother?" and then proceeded to make fun of white people's prejudices?! He laughed and made Thompsons, two cops, a fool of themselves saying that "They deserved it anyway"?! He helped Tintin and jumped on the danger because he felt like it?! Someone thought it was a good idea to give this kid a gun and he made a perfect shot at Didi's sword?! And then the next time we hear of him is because he's considered dead but haha kidding, he's the only survivor and has telepathic powers but only to Tintin and got a new pet/bestie/dad at the fucking Yeti?! LIKE WHO ELSE DOES IT LIKE HIM?! WHO ELSE HAS THIS POTENTIAL FOR ABSURDITY AND ANGST AND LOVE AND ALL THE FEELINGS?!

I need more content of him and his life before and after meeting Tintin, his new family, his everyday life, his worries and his dreams, his feelings, his crushes, his interests! How does he feel for Tintin and how did he deal with his goodbye to him? How is his relationship with his family? How is he dealing with his trauma from both Blue Lotus and Tibet stories? What is he doing in London and what about his life from now on? All these things you can do with him and imagine him in different scenarios! Of course he has so many fans! He is the blorbo ever!

Yeah, I agree that his ship with Tintin is cute and I have no issue with that of course, I am just not a big fan. For me Tintin and Chang have such an interesting dynamic as they're the same but they're not, they're close but they're not. They're each other's best friend, but are they and what does friendship mean to them? No one knows Tintin better than Chang and vice versa, but do they really? They would kill and die for each other but would they live together? As I see them they have such a strong but complex bond and I totally can see the romantic potential here but for me the platonic potential is more interesting. They love each other and their bond is so unique that no one understands it better than themselves. And of course you don't want them as your enemies.

If I ever see the romantic interest between them I do it as one sided unrequited love because I love the angst and seeing them in the end working things out between them.
