Teach me how to speed draw I mean I'm unable to finish even a simple sketch in 2 hours...

The secret of being able to draw "fast" comes down to routine and experience. I've worked in a professional environment where I learned fundamentals of efficient work. However, no matter what your skill level is, you can always start practicing.

In my opinion, the most important thing to remember is that sketches are supposed to be just quick scribbles of your ideas. In a professional environment, artists are encouraged to spend as little time in the early development phase. When you start designing characters for example, your first job is to create as many illustrated ideas in a very short time as possible. You shouldn't focus on details but shape language, silhouette and the general "story" you want your character to be able to tell visually.

To me it sounds like your general problem is that you spend too much time thinking how something "should look" or if your sketch is clean enough. Instead of that, try to focus on sketching the outer shape of the character. Here are some of my sketches I've made under a few minutes.

See? My sketches aren't the cleanest but they convey the message I want to bring. Instead of focusing too much on detail, I make sure the shape language and facial expressions are clear and easy to read. I personally suggest checking out the work of storyboard artists. I think learning about their working habits could help you learn how to spend less time on detail and rather put that effort into conveying the message you want your sketch to tell.

When you gain more experience, build your confidence and grow more familiar with your own style, your sketching habits start to become automatic and you don't need to put much thought process into it anymore. It all really comes down to experience. I've not always been fast at drawing. It took me years of practice to get where I am now and believe me or not, I'm STILL learning. It never stops. I'm still aiming to be even faster.

As a general note, being fast doesn't mean you're a good artist but it's a useful skill while working in a professional field. However, I personally admire artists who are able to pour hundreds of hours in a single painting. I could never be able to do that.

I have a strict no-AI policy because if you use AI to write your essays for a writing course it’s literally plagiarism because you didn’t write it and you’re not learning any of the things the course teaches if you just plug a prompt into the plagiarism generator that kills the environment, hope this helps!

this is a poster i made for my call to action assignment in humanities! it's a bunch of basic and easy stretches for people who sit and work at a desk all day (me)

the idea is that you'd put the poster up above ur desk and do the stretches every 30 minutes or so,, the whole routine won't take more than about 6 minutes to complete and when done regularly it can prevent wrist, shoulder, neck and back pain! :)

all these stretches can be done while sitting (although i HIGHLY recommend you stand up and move around while taking a break from working)

When Senshi was young in the dungeon the majority of the adults he were with ostracized him. All except Gillin, who died to make sure Senshi had something to eat: unseasoned boiled meat that may or may not have been one of their comrades.

It really puts into perspective why he was so nurturing towards Chilchuck. When Chil reveals he’s 28 to the party, Senshi responds by telling him that he thought he was older. Senshi was in his 30s when he and his comrades got trapped in the dungeon, so it’s safe to assume that he thought Chil was at a similar age.

He met a young boy who was, from his perspective, forced to do dangerous work in the dungeon just like he was, and so, Senshi made an effort to look after Chilchuck in the same way Gillin looked after him.

Mind you, when Senshi was young in the dungeon he had to starve for weeks, eat the horse he loved, and finish it off spending the next i don’t know how many years wondering if he committed cannibalism.

Senshi understands first hand the value of nutrition and proper eating, so when he’s with the party he makes an effort to make sure they’re all eating a full and balanced diet. Not only that, but Senshi INVOLVES them in the process of getting food to eat, always preparing it in front of them and narrating every ingredient in the process so that there’s no doubt about what they’re eating.

I decided to start this campaign with all the hope that you could support me in evacuating Gaza to do surgery for me and my daughter and start a fresh life with my 5 kids out of the ongoing genocide in Gaza [...] I was supposed to go out at the end of 2023 to have surgery on my knees but since 7 October, I had no chance due to the procedures on Rafah crossing, the gate of Gazans to the world. Alright, let me give you a more clear explanation. Source blogs don't create gifs for others to use in their individual gifsets; it's not a thing at all, you can't take someone else's gif and use it. Everyone creates their gifs from scratch.

Source blogs primarily reblog gifs made by others, and they also make their own content. The key distinction between a regular gifmaker and a source blog is that a regular gifmaker is one person who has a personal blog and who may have interests in multiple fandoms, while a source blog is managed by a group of people focusing on a specific topic. For example, a Marvel-themed source blog will never create and reblog gifs related to something like Game of Thrones, it will exclusively create and reblog gifs related to the Marvel Universe, they have to stick to one theme or topic. Meanwhile a gifmaker like me, for example, can jump from fandom to fandom whenever they feel like it.

Another thing is source blogs that are related to gifmaking in general, for example, @usergif. As I mentioned in the beginning, source blogs don't make gifs for others to use in their own gifsets. However, those particular resources-related ones can share PSD files with templates, shapes, color correction files for particular shows. They share things that can help you out in the process of gifmaking, they don't replace the whole gif-making process itself.
