sorry to ask but i haven't been on tumblr for so long i almost forgot how to even put themes on, do you have any tutorial for it or some way to explain it simply?
omg don’t apologize!! ofc I can help u out!! im gonna include pictures and stuff so ill put it below the cut ;33
just as an fyi, my tumblr desktop theme looks like twitter so im sorry if that makes it confusing when u get to that part 😭
so if it’s the mobile theme /pop up theme you wanna edit and you’re on desktop, you’re just gonna click “blog settings” at the top of your blog by your ask button.
once you click that you’re gonna click “edit appearance” in the top right corner of the display box.
then just edit the theme, color, pfp, banner, and font however you want from there <333
if u wanna edit your tumblr desktop theme, go on desktop and click on your blog, then click where it says (blog name).tumblr.com.
if your blog doesn’t have that, just type it into your computer and go directly to it. once you’re on your desktop blog, you’re gonna click the symbol in the top right corner that looks like a paint palette (like this 🎨 but no color).
once you’re there you’re gonna be able to edit the color background of your theme, font, font size, background color, accent color, title color, headers, links, and all that fun stuff from the editor sidebar.
to browse other themes and post layouts, click “browse themes” at the top left of the edit bar and pick whichever one you like!!
you can also customize the color and photos of those themes too!! I find that it’s just best to goof around on there to get a good feel for it!!
welcome back to tumblr and I hope that this helps <333
#[ 🏩 – chatting ]#sorry if this isn’t very coherent !!#I just have the basic rundown of buttons and stuff#lmk if u have any other questions bc I love doing theme related stuff#idk rly how to edit themes on my phone (since I usually use tumblr from my computer)#sorry!!!!#there are also account son tumblr that make rly cute desktop themes#and u just copy their written code and html and then put it into the html editor#on the desktop theme editor and paste it#then edit from ther

meeting w the transfer admin went well!
#day was off to a not perfect start w getting locked out lmfao#but it's been good from there#got a lot of questions/concerns answered and some good recommendations for paths forward#he's going to make me some official sort of like... plans for pathways with the bshs/bshp programs based on things we chatted abt#(that will hopefully reduce my time needing to be full time @ the campus to potentially just 2 years)#I'm gonna probably ask some more questions and maybe specifically ask the programs i'm interested in about advice for me getting accepted#I think i might apply to a community college by the end of spring and start taking some courses over the summer and see how things go#i need a lot of chemistry and physics and health terminology classes so#will be good to come in with that foundation of the reqs#I might do some campus tours this spring as well lmfao. get the whole rundown#esp since the campus is an hour drive from where i (currently) live so it'd be a bit of a jaunt#ahhh somehow i feel less nervous!!#the guy seemed pretty like... confident that I should be an okay fit even from such an unrelated field#obv dependent on how the prereqs go because it's a really rigorous course load and clinical load#but if i can get those prereqs finished all of my prior degree credits should transfer and basically cover all of my gen ed/liberal ed#so i'll really only need the last 2yrs of courses#yippee wahoo yay#this is all just super dependent on how those prereq classes go and whether i have enough of an aptitude in them to not only pass#but pass with high grades and not struggle too much comprehending the material#but hey one baby step closer :)#also like damn they structure their courses really well#they let people usually re-take quizzes because their focus is on students actually learning the material#not just the 'pass fail' bar for entrance into degrees that most unis use the courses for#personal stuff#i need to get some uhhhhh nicer looking business casual clothes asap#cause i only have like. flannels. funky button ups. black shirts.#and i only have jeans...#hahah oops....#i'm excited idk. what i do next is still pretty open but it feels good to narrow down at least an option or two that feel like. feasible#my heart still like

I Know A Guy
The post office on this space station was close to the landing docks, nice and convenient, so several of us went to check our mail while Captain Sunlight met with the sister ship. Not all of the crew had mail drops set up, but I did; this station was a big hub that we stopped at with some regularity. Perfect for relaying the occasional news from home.
And care packages, as it turned out.
I opened the box with some curiosity, sitting on a bench while the others waited in line and the spaceport bustled around us. Inside I found multivitamins, a letter from my parents, a type of cereal that I’d loved as a kid, and a smaller box with a sun logo.
“Ooh, what’d you get?” Paint asked, trotting over with her own box clutched to her scaly orange chest.
“A lot of stuff,” I said in distraction, turning the sun box in search of words. No luck. I opened it to find a fist-sized yellow globe and a base with lots of buttons. And an instruction booklet, thankfully. “Oh, it’s a sun lamp!”
“It even looks like a little sun; how nice! Is it warm, or just bright?” Paint gave it an appreciative look while she opened her package.
“Not sure yet.” I skimmed the instructions and decided to leave that for later. “It’s thoughtful, though. I think my parents were concerned that I’m not getting enough Vitamin D up in space. And other vitamins.” I rattled the bottle.
“That’s a lot of vitamins.”
“Yup. And look, they found the discontinued cereal! I thought it was gone for good.” I carefully opened a corner and fished out a palmful of the maple syrup flavored crunchy goodness that I hadn’t had in years. It was just as tasty as I’d remembered.
Paint sniffed the air. “I don’t recognize that smell. What kind of food is it?”
“Breakfast food,” I said. “I think it’s wheat based, so it’s basically made from ground-up seeds, and flavored with sweet tree sap.”
“That’s … creative,” Paint said.
“Delicious, too. Most tree saps aren’t worth eating, but this one is.” I crunched another mouthful. “Want some?”
“No thank you,” was the prim answer that I’d fully expected. “But look what I got! Fancy heat stickers!” Paint held up a stack of vividly colored starburst shapes, fanned out like playing cards. “I’m going to see if Sunlight, Coals, and Eggskin want any.”
“Thoughtful of you,” I said, closing up the cereal. All four of the lizardy Heatseekers on our ship enjoyed warm things. The ambient temperature was always kept at a comfortable compromise for the various species onboard, but a handy little warm sticker that wouldn’t get in the way was bound to be appreciated.
“Oh, they’re even scented,” Paint said, rubbing one against her snout. “I’m going to have to order more of these.” She sorted through the stack, checking scents and color variations.
Mur and Zhee were still in line, stuck behind a Frillian who was shipping many things to many places, so I settled in to read the note from home while I waited. It was a nice update on the various goings-on of the extended family; all reasonably good news, nothing earth-shattering. Somebody got a scholarship, somebody had twins, somebody was doing well in a competitive bumper-ship derby league, and was incredibly excited about it. There was a lot of detail about that one. I got the impression that this particular second cousin had given everybody a rundown at a family gathering, so now they all knew more about the best types of shrapnel shielding than they probably wanted to. Sounded like the favorite was a human-made version, combining tech that other species had already come up with. The force field worked with the ship’s scanner to predict which parts of the shield would need the most power for a given impact. My cousin was a big fan.
The quiet slap of tentacles on the ground accompanied Mur. “Well that was a long wait,” he said. “But now I’m all set for media for the foreseeable future.” He held a data chip in one tentacle.
Zhee was right behind him, hissing in what sounded like joy instead of irritation for once. He set a box down between his bug feet, not waiting for a bench, and tore it open with his pincher arms. Inside was something that looked like another kind of data chip, and something with straps that I couldn’t begin to figure out.
“Excellent,” Zhee said. “The correct version, the highest quality, and Trrili does not get to listen to it, heathen that she is.”
It took me a second. “Oh, that’s music?” I thought back to the impassioned rant about Trrili’s incorrect opinions on traditional Mesmer leg-singing. I hoped Zhee played it quietly. “And is that — I want to say ‘headphones,’ but—”
“Personal speakers, yes,” Zhee said as he stuffed it all back in the box. “I will be able to listen to the glorious arias in privacy.”
Paint nodded. “Great idea.” She’d heard the leg-singing when I did, and probably wasn’t eager to hear the artful screeching again.
I was trying to guess whether Zhee would be offended if I asked where his ears were, since it occurred to me that I didn’t actually know. But the others were gathering up their things to head back to the ship, and I decided to put it off until later. Maybe I’d ask Eggskin the medic instead.
Something occurred to me as I put the letter back in the box. “Hey guys, pose for a second. I want to send my family a picture with some of my cool alien coworkers.”
The three of them agreed that they were awesome and worth photographing. (Their responses ranged from excited to confident to egotistical.) A few moments later, I had a fantastic group selfie to send with my letter back. Paint’s open-mouthed lizard smile was adorable; Mur stood tall on his blue-black tentacles; Zhee loomed over all of us with the lights shining off his purple exoskeleton; then there was me grinning in the front. I’d definitely be keeping a copy of this.
We made our way back to the ship where it was parked next to a similar lemon-shaped courier ship with folded solar sails. The two captains hadn’t gone inside yet, which made me wonder what they were discussing with such intense expressions.
As we approached, Captain Sunlight was saying, “I may know someone who can help us out, but I’d hate to give him the satisfaction.”
She broke off when Paint trotted up to give her a handful of heat stickers and to show off the blue-white one she herself was wearing. Apparently it smelled like a plant I’d never heard of.
“Thank you; that’s very thoughtful,” Captain Sunlight said. “Those sound like just the thing.” She picked out a green one and pasted it to her own chest, where it contrasted nicely with her yellow scales.
Zhee and Mur tromped into the ship. I lingered, curious. “Is all the ship business going all right?” I asked.
“For the moment,” the captain said as she stowed the rest of the stickers and the backing for that one in her belt pouch. “Just considering our options with some monetary considerations.”
Captain Kamm waved a tentacle. “Both ships are on the family plan for damage insurance, and the rates have made an unpleasant jump.”
I shifted the box to my other side. “Do we need to earn more money?”
“No, it will be all right.” Captain Sunlight shook her head. “I have a lead on a better deal. I just need to make a call or two.”
Captain Kamm ushered us all into our ship, wasting no time. Paint disappeared to share her heat stickers while the two captains adjourned to the lounge. I put my things away and hurried back. No one had told me to mind my own business, so I was going to listen in before writing a letter to send back home.
I was quick, but Captain Sunlight was quicker. She was just ending the holo call when I arrived. A green-scaled Heatseeker gazed earnestly from the projection, urging her to get back to him as soon as she could.
“If you can get better shields, I can promise you a savings of at least 15% compared to your current plan!”
“Yes, thank you,” Captain Sunlight said. “I’ll see what I can do. Say hi to the elders for me.”
He said he would, and she turned off the projection with another deep sigh. Captain Kamm sat next to her, weaving tentacles together thoughtfully.
Captain Sunlight tossed the communicator onto the table and sat back with folded arms. “Of course it couldn’t be that simple. He talks a good game at every gathering, but oh no: prerequisites.”
I sat down at the end of the couch, absently petting Telly who was curled up in the center. In proper cat fashion, she responded by stretching to take up even more space. I was thinking about what the captain had just said about shields.
I asked, “Does he need a certain kind in order to get us the better deal?”
Captain Sunlight waved a hand. “Just a higher degree of resistance to micrometeorites. The shielding we have is perfectly serviceable, but it’s apparently not enough for the good rates.”
“Would we need to overhaul everything, or would it be enough to layer another kind over what we have? Like, say, a kind that connects to the ship’s scanners?”
The captain gave me a look. “Do you have a specific type in mind?”
“Possibly,” I said. “Are you familiar with bumper-ship derbies?”
Captain Kamm twirled a tentacle. “That’s some of the human ‘adrenaline junkie’ nonsense, yes?”
“I think there are some Smashers and other races that really get into it as well, but yes,” I said. “The letter from home I just got mentioned the shielding they use.”
I explained what I knew while they listened intently. Paint came in to join us and sat on the other side of Telly, who took the extra attention as her due. By the time I was done talking, everyone in the room was looking optimistic.
“Go ahead and reach out,” Captain Sunlight said. “We don’t have to rush off anytime soon. With any luck, we can get all this settled at once.”
“Here’s hoping!” Captain Kamm said, touching four tentacle-tips together over her head in what looked like the Strongarm version of crossed fingers.
“I’ll see if I can route a call through to home now,” I said, getting up.
Telly meowed in protest at the movement, then crawled onto Paint’s lap and rubbed her head against the heat sticker, purring audibly. Paint looked delighted.
I left with a wave, hurrying off to my quarters with plans to make a phone call, potentially save the day, then set up the sun lamp for the benefit of a certain fuzzy little heat-lover as well as for my own sake.

These are the ongoing backstory adventures of the main character from this book.
Shared early on Patreon! There’s even a free tier to get them on the same day as the rest of the world.
The sequel novel is in progress (and will include characters from these stories. I hadn’t thought all of them up when I wrote the first book, but they’re too much fun to leave out of the second).

I've had an interesting thought about Ralsei's manual.
At some point in development, we were supposed to be able to actually read it in-game, but this idea was scrapped. Instead, when we try to read the Manual, the narration says it makes your head spin and nothing happens. And I'll be honest, I thought that was a little odd. After all, though the manual we can read reflects a potential older build of Chapter 1, much of its contents are fairly accurate and could have been corrected within a short timeframe - on top of which, it is clear that some parts are meant to be gags (i.e. the whole Dog status condition that removes all your controls). But there isn't anything contained within its pages that proves particularly challenging or confusing...
...not for US, anyway.
Think for a moment about what the Manual is supposed to represent - it is essentially a spoof of an old video game instruction booklet, complete with an overview of the story, a basic rundown of the controls and the various functions that a player can perform with those controls. For younger folks who might not appreciate the significance, these things were ubiquitous back in the 90s and the 00s, and were often ignored by kids who just wanted to get into the game - that's the main aspect of the joke behind the Manual, that it's seen as entirely superfluous since Ralsei already goes over the main mechanics of battle in his own tutorial.
But imagine for a moment, if one day you were going about your life and you met someone who said a whole lot of stuff about destiny and prophecies and heroes, and then handed you what looked like a video game instruction booklet. Reading through it, you see that it breaks down your every action into button prompts for an interface you have never once seen in your entire life, suggesting that some force entirely beyond your comprehension is manipulating you through this said interface, and that you are not only have zero actual control over the actions you think you're performing autonomously, but also that the apparent goal of said actions runs entirely at odds with what you even thought your life was leading up to.
Makes your head spin thinking about it, right?
And I think that it's telling that when controlling Kris, we are not permitted to read the manual, but the data for the manual itself still exists in the game's code, and can be viewed by us through directly accessing it. I think this is significant, as it suggests that there are certain objects or concepts that exist in Deltarune that Kris is either unable or unwilling to properly comprehend, which in turn forbids us from comprehending those same things when attempting to interact with them through Kris. But poring through the game's code directly allows us to bypass that limitation, giving us crucial information and insight which would otherwise be denied to us.
In case it needs to be spelled out - the fact that the manual cannot be read by Kris, but CAN be read perfectly fine by us, might have in fact been a deliberate choice designed to reinforce the notion that Kris is a separate entity from us, and additionally to remind us that our goals (to play the game and see the story through to its conclusion) are not exactly aligned with Kris's goals, whatever they might be.
Thank you for attending my TED talk about an optional series of images hidden in the code of a hit indie game.

Last week after I played pressure with a friend and their friend I thought about what if we played dandy's world together and I thought of an ask that was something along the likes of will you be my dandy's world mentor can you teach me the ways of the dandy's world cause you know I'm still new to dandy's world and stuff 😭
uhh tbh its not too hard of a game ig?? really the best way to get good at it is to just play a lot,, im also not rlly the best at it lmao so uhh i might not be the BEST source,, but heres some general tips
these r basically all the game mechanics erm heres the wiki it is fandom unfortunately but uhh its all we got for now. also in game when u join theres a ? button in the corner which gives shorter rundowns id reccomend reading those first b4 this, i do think i probably repeated it a lot accidentally (i havent read it in like a year lmao) but its more simple (i tried to go a lil more in depth/give tips)
for main gameplay/avoiding twisteds just try to hide behind stuff and avoid big open areas,, machines r pretty easy for me bc i used to play rhythm games a lot (side eyes my fnf phase...),, you just click space when its in teh white/yellow area (clicking in teh yellow gives you come extra completion :3 this is rlly helpful) but uhh honestly if ur on computer theyre not too hard (according to other people) but when i play on mobile i feel like the button lags a lil so its easier if u press it a little early
Also always pick up research capsules!!!!!!1 they r client sided so ur not taking them from anyone :3 (unlike items and tapes,, always call out when u see a bandage/band or health kit/medkit since someone might need it especially if u have a distractor or healer) (this is actually one of the most annoying things in dw, its a huge stereotype that beginners always steal heals TwT) (also!! sprout and teagan need tapes for their ability so if u have one of those guys call out for those too,,, they usually tell ppl to save tapes at the start of runs!!)
id recommend checking the wiki to get good at trinkets for teh most part (thats what i did anyway) but it rlly depends on the character and what ur doing with them (distracting or extracting for the most part) but like if ur just starting ur not gonna have any anyways xd (you do get a free one for joining the studio tho! i got it bc i was already in teh studio b4 i even knew what a dandys world was bc i played flavor frenzy...)
idk if this is rlly important but my fav trinket is blue bandana! :33 its the trinket you get for getting 100% research on twisted boxten and i LOVE it sm, it boosts ur extraction speed but lowers the chance of skill checks but i get them a lot anyways so i think its fine (u might know this but if you collect 50% research on a twisted you get a description of them, and if you get 100% you get a trinket!! you will probably get the common toons pretty fast since they spawn a lot)(you also need 100% research on a main to get them (ex i NEED 100% research on shelly bc i wanna get her... i have 98... send help....)) i use blue bandana basically every time i extract
each floor theres 2 twisteds and 4 machines but you get more as u go up (how fast it changes depends on the number of people, in a solo you get 3 on floor 13 i think?)(the machines also change but i forget the floor numbers) also theres 2 capsules for every twisted (so starts w 4 capsules total) which gives u 1% research on them, and getting seen by a twisted gets u 5%, but only the first time they see you on that floor
Anyways in the ele you get dandys shop on odd floors and cards on even floors (teh game describes this as getting dandys shop when going to an even floor and cards when going to an odd floor but that sounds kinda confusing imo)
Dandys shop is pretty self explanatory, he sells items for different amounts of tapes (you get tapes by picking them up off the ground (they come 5 at a time) or by doing basically anything- finishing a machine, using an item, etc) if you dont buy from dandy 2 times he gets mad, and after the third time of not buying theres a chance of twisted dandy spawning,,, every time u dont buy after that the chance goes up until its basically guaranteed, hes lethal so he always kills u in one hit regardless, but hes also slow and and plays music so hes not THAT hard to escape. but yeah if you buy b4 he spawns he gets nice again and the chance resets to 0, the chance also resets to 0 after he spawns so you have to wait 3+ floors again. also some ppl say that buying from dandy increases/decreases main chance. neither of these theories r true dandy has no effect on main chance if someone says that laugh at them for being gullible/j /lh
And cards r a bit different! basically 3 cards appear on screen and each gives a different effect- some of my favs r Tech Savvy, which makes machines get completed 5 sec faster, Covetous/Avaricious which makes it more common for rarer items to spawn, First Aid/Medical Attention which heals everyone by 1 heart, and like a billion more. they all have descs tho so u dont need to memorize or anythign lol, basically theres a vote and u just click the card u want and after like 5 sec the card w the most votes applies its effect!! the effects r permanent (so Tech Savvy makes machines 5 sec faster for the rest of the run) also ive heard a lot of confusing things abt cards, i dont think theres a limited number of each one but erm idk
Uhh thats basically it
#we could also play together ig#like i said im no pro but we could do duos to help u get used to the game#my roblox is kittystarcone2010 (i made it when i was like 9 lmaooo)#display name is GemXD tho (i named my avatar gem)#but uhh tell me urs first since i usually dont accept friend requests lol (my mom had a rule where i could only accept ppl i knew irl)#(i count internet friends tho :33)#yapping#dandys world#asks#answered asks

wait can u give me a quick rundown of ur ocs… so i can ask questions abt them 👀
yes ofc !!!! OK SO. My guy that im like hyperfixated on right now is Emil, he's a mad scientist guy and he SUCKS. basically he's just always been a pain in the ass since he was born and never really made an effort to be a better person. Also he's really fucking smart. He ends up getting really famous and wealthy cuz he invented something really cool (still hammering out deets on this, i like the idea of some kinda neural implant or advanced surveillance tech tho). He enjoys living in luxury but hates the constant attention, so one day he decides to abandon it all and isolate himself in his lab in rural Louisiana. He stays in isolation for like 5 or so years and gets soooo depressed. and keeps thinking gay thoughts about his former lab partner .... (i'll get to them in a bit) he just kinda ignores All That and keeps working. Until his lab partner shows up at his door and is like DUDE YOUR INVENTION CAUSED THE END OF THE FUCKING WORLD. and then they go on a lil road trip together to stop the Big Bad and Emil learns to stop sucking so much and take accountability for his actions :3 also heres a doodle i did of him recently <3
[ID: a digital drawing of op's character, Emil, visible from the waist up. Emil is a fat, white man with messy orange hair. He is wearing a white, short-sleeved lab coat, black gloves, and a purple button-up shirt. The shirt is unbuttoned a bit, and his cleavage is visible. He has green goggles on his head, and he's wearing colored contact lenses. His left eye is green, and his right is purple. He's frowning and glancing to the right/end ID] so Sahir !! They were Emil's lab partner in grad school. They're a botanical psychologist (some shit i made up, they're researching the cognitive abilities of plants). They've always been the quiet, out of the way, people-pleaser type. Emil kept them around bc they just went along with whatever he did. ANYWAY they always kinda had a crush on Emil and even when he ditched them when he got famous, they didn't stop thinking of him </3 So when shit goes down bc of his big fuckup they go find him and basically don't leave him alone until he gets off his ass and fixes it. They're still not really comfortable with standing up to him, so they just keep letting him be a dick to them until they just. have enough and totally snap. and that's kinda the inciting incident that makes Emil realize how much of a dick he is and why thats Bad actually. So Sahir's whole personal journey is basically unlearning their people-pleaser mentality and gaining confidence in themself <3 SO theyre the only two that really have a solid storyline at this point, i have a few misc guys ill drop tho :) ok so first up there's Mal (short for Malpractice Lawsuit), she's basically liiiike if u took the concept of capitalistic greed and made it into a lesbian robot <3 shes evil and she sucks and shes sooo hot and i wanna write her into emil and sahir's storyline but im not sure how atm !! but perhaps i will figure it out eventually !! and theres Marvin, he's a lil guy robot and my fav oc :3 he's just small and silly and also a genius who does Epic Cool Hacking Stuff but hes also an 8 year old who eats dirt then theres Hugo and Vicki, theyre cool and gay :) Hugo is the most anxious man alive (also hes from boston) and Vicki is a demon who just decided that xey like him and they hang out. not much story there they just kiss each other a lot
so yah !!! thats my guys !!!
#ty for asking i LOVE talking about my stupid lil fools .............#maya tag#💜#emil posting#askeroonies#oc talk

Going back to DHV after quitting for 2 years. I loved just doing tincture and not inhaling anything, pero, I don't always want an edible high so that got me thinking about vaping again.
First of all, why vape anything? Why not just smoke?
Traditionally, we were just torching our bud with flames, either in a joint, or bowl or bong or bucket drop or like.. whatever. People used to smoke out of apples like that shit was cool.
The problem is, you're inhaling all of the plant matter, instead of just the good stuff, the THC.
Vaping is a revolution. Now, all you have to do is inhale the THC and leave the plant matter behind. This is by far more healthy than combustion and I will never look back when it comes to smoking ever again.
The vape scene has had some stellar advancements in the last 2 years. I've been having a blast learning about all the new technology.
Here's a rundown:
Ball vapes. This is the new kid on the block, and likely the final word on vaping for a while. Definitely raised the bar across the board and has the whole vaping community in an absolute frenzy.
And for good reason too. Now, I'm a little hesitant to try it myself just because of the strength of ball vapes, but I can't lie, the concept itself is just stellar.
So you would pack a bong just like you would if you were going to use it normally. But instead of using a lighter, you're using a device that looks like a tiny little oven on a stick. That little oven device contains some kind of spherical gems, like rubies or sapphires, like in the Ruby Twist.

Once you inhale the very hot air being drawn into the heating element, your herb gets baked, and then in turn, you get baked. 😜
But the fact of the matter is, you need to be very careful using these devices. They can get hot in excess of 500 degrees, so if you're not careful you're gonna actually burn shit.
Now, I think I'll try it eventually but for now, I'm gonna stick to my portables.
The most exciting portable on the market right now, and one I think I'll go in on, is the Tafee Bowle 2. Now, if I ever had this device when I was starting out vaping, just know that this is probably the last vape I'd ever buy.
The problem with traditional vape devices is how long they take to heat and extract vapor from your herb. The reason why the ball vapes are so popular is that they can extract in 2 hits. Well, I'm hearing you can do the same with this device.

It has a double function as a cup, and you could absolutely keep it on your desk when you're not using it because, well, it just looks like a cup bro lol.
Inside though, is the best heating technology ever seen in a portable. Only the Tinymight 2 comes close, which we'll talk about in just a second.
The Tafee Bowle 2 has an unprecedented 1 second heat up time. That means you press the button, and after one second, your vape is hot enough to hit. This is on-demand, flame-like performance from a device that looks like a Smart Cup. I don't think the vaping community has ever seen anything this fast before. Hell, I thought a 20 second heat up time was decent. But this is next level.
If you want to cash a bowl in 2 hits, this is your device. And I will have one.
Now, the Tinymight 2 offers similar performance in a different form factor. This is more your traditional vape - still on-demand heating. I'm not sure if it's 1 second fast, but I think it's safe to say that it can get you going in about 5 seconds at least.

It's flask-like appearance is deceptive enough, but if you look at it hard enough, if still definitely looks like a vape. I watched videos on this one, and it will hit as hard or as soft as you want it. I watched a video of this guy absolutely ripping a bong with it, with vapor that looked like milky-white smoke. It's a very impressive device, and I want one just to say I own one.
The Arizer Solo 3 builds on the device I've owned for quite some time now, the Solo 2. With an updated screen, bigger bowl, USB-C charging, and a new "on-demand mode" (basically a 10 second timer, not true on-demand), it has enough new features that made me want to upgrade.
The Solo 3 is primarily a sipping vape, though. If the other vapes are like taking a shot, the Solo 3 is more like having a glass of wine. It's designed to be consumed in 10+ minutes, with a long glass stem that resembles a straw, where you're just pulling a little bit of vapor at a time, enjoying yourself and getting progressively more high. It's my ideal experience. The Solo 3 also comes with included water pipe attachments, so you can use it with your bong for even more cooling.

This is a great vape for beginners, though it's not gonna blast you to the moon like the others.
The Fury 3 just released, which is a successor to the first vape I ever owned, the Fury 2. Healthyrips makes the best portables in my opinion. This thing fits in your pocket, and easy to hit inconspicuously from your palm.
It's also a session device, but with a shorter stem, and can also be used with a water pipe adapter. I will probably own one at some point, since they are so cheap and easy to use.

There are other portable vapes of note - The Storz and Bickel lineup (Mighty, Crafty, and the new Venty) but they are apparently harder to clean, contain a lot of plastic, and some are even erroring out, no thanks. Planet of the Vapes also makes a Healthyrips clone called the Lobo. It does have a removable battery, but I prefer and trust the Healthyrips brand more.
Moving on to manual vapes (you thought I was done?!)
Manual vapes require an external heating element - usually a butane lighter, but there are ton of electric heating options too - to heat up a chamber of weed without burning it.
I think the Dynavap was the first manual vape to hit the scene. Indeed, it was pretty revolutionary in its own right. You would torch the tip (ouch) until you heard the cap "click" and then you'd inhale. This offers the most "joint"like experience to vaping, and has a lot of fans.

There have been many advancements on this design since then, all with additional parts that make the vapor much cooler than a standard Dynavap. The Tempest is now the gold standard, although, I'm interested in the Terpcicle, which features an all-glass stem.

I'll stop here. As you can see, there are many options to choose from, and many different options to fit your style of play.
Do you want to get on a rocket to the moon? Get a ball vape like the Ruby Twist, or one of the quick extraction devices like the Tafee Bowle 2 or the Tinymight 2. Do you want to take your time and sip, with the added versatility of bong use? The Arizer Solo 3 and the new Healthyrips Fury 3 are good options. Do you want a more manual, farm-to-table vaping experience that doesn't require charging a device? You can use any of the Dynavap type devices, some of which have offered huge advancements from the original.
That's all I got here, and I will be exploring some of these devices soon

How to Create a Chatbot: Your No-Fluff Guide to Building a Digital Wingman
Ever wish you had a tireless sidekick who could handle customer questions, snag leads, and keep your small business humming 24/7? That’s where knowing how to create a chatbot comes in clutch. This isn’t about slapping some code together and calling it a day—it’s about building a smart, scrappy helper that actually works. Whether you’re a one-person show or running a tight crew, a chatbot for small business can be your secret weapon. Let’s break it down, step by step, with real talk and zero hype.
Step 1: Figure Out What You Need
Before you even think about tools or tech, nail down why you’re doing this. How to create a chatbot starts with asking: What’s the win? More sales after hours? Fewer “where’s my order” emails? Maybe just keeping folks from bouncing off your site. Get specific. For me, when I built one for a buddy’s coffee shop, we aimed to cut phone orders in half—and it worked.
A chatbot for small business shines when it’s got a clear job. Write it down: “Answer FAQs” or “Book appointments.” That’s your North Star.
Step 2: Pick Your Flavor—Simple or Smart
Here’s the deal: not every chatbot needs to be a genius. How to create a chatbot means picking the right brain for the job. You’ve got two paths:
Rule-Based: Like a choose-your-own-adventure book—simple, scripted, and cheap. Great for basic stuff like “What’s your return policy?”
AI-Powered: Smarter, learns on the fly, and handles curveballs like “Can you make it quick?”—but it’s trickier to set up.
For a chatbot for small business, start simple. My coffee shop pal went rule-based first—saved us headaches while we figured out what customers actually asked.
Step 3: Grab the Right Tools
You don’t need a PhD to pull this off—there’s gear for every level. How to create a chatbot hinges on picking tools that fit your skills and wallet. Here’s a quick rundown:
I’d say Tidio’s a solid bet for a chatbot for small business—free to start, and you can tweak it as you go. Pair it with your site, and you’re rolling.
Step 4: Build It Like You Talk
Nobody likes a robot that sounds like a tax form. How to Create a Chatbot means giving it your voice—keep it real. Map out a convo like you’re chatting with a regular:
Customer: “How late are you open?”
Bot: “We’re here ‘til 8 p.m.—plenty of time to swing by!”
Test it with a friend. If it feels stiff, rewrite it. My buddy’s bot started with “Our hours are 7 a.m. to 8 p.m.”—snooze. We flipped it to “Up at 7, down at 8—coffee’s hot all day!” Way better.
Step 5: Hook It Up and Watch It
A chatbot’s no good if it’s floating in space. Plug it into your site—most tools have a “copy this code” button—and let it loose. But don’t just set it and forget it. How to Create a Chatbot that lasts means keeping an eye on it. Check what people ask, where it stumbles, and tweak it weekly. Our coffee bot flopped on “decaf options” at first—two days later, it had answers locked and loaded.
Step 6: Level It Up
Once it’s humming, push it further. Add a trick like texting order updates or flagging hot leads to your inbox. A chatbot for small business can grow with you—start small, then dream big. We added a “text me when it’s ready” option, and customers ate it up.
Kick It Off Today
Mastering how to create a chatbot isn’t rocket science—it’s about starting smart and building something that fits your hustle. Turn your site into a lead-grabbing, question-answering machine without losing sleep. Grab Tidio’s free plan or poke around Chatfuel now—your chatbot for small business could be live by tonight. Why wait? Your customers aren’t.

Yes!! We can help with this!
we'll give broad overview info up front, and personal experience below the cut (because i know already it's gonna be long and rambly lmao)
Here's a thing we wrote about it for a server we're in
blackout amnesia is a complete loss of memory, generally in relation to something specific. complete loss of episodic memory or complete loss of semantic memory or complete loss of both are all blackout amnesia. examples: remembering the outcome of a conversation but not remembering the conversation itself (complete loss of episodic memory) remembering having a conversation but not remembering what was discussed (complete loss of semantic memory) not remembering the conversation or the outcome (complete loss of both)
not sure how much you know about memory, so here are definitions of semantic + episodic memory, also by us
episodic memory is everything typically described as memory: personal events from the past. episodic memories are associated with everything that happened at a specific place and/or time. sensory input, emotions, etc examples: 9th birthday volleyball game whether you ate lunch today semantic memory is facts and knowledge, and don't rely on a time/place. can be objective or subjective. may connect to episodic memories. examples: definition of a word your name belief that you are unattractive
now that we've done that, personal experience!!
okay so we get a lot of blackout amnesia. every single switch we have comes with blackouts of varying strengths, and we also get blackout amnesia relating to traumatic/distressing events, presence of symptoms, and some other stuff.
since our brain has been dealing with blackouts for most of our life, it's gotten pretty good at managing them. it's figured out how to.. work around? the amnesia, and make it harder to spot from the outside.
the biggest commonality between how we handle different types of blackouts is internal communication. having 'high ups' (gatekeepers, protectors, archivists, etc) tell fronters things without giving them the associated memories is highly effective at circumventing the problems our amnesia levels create.
in general blackout amnesia feels like trying to reach something that's sitting on the top shelf of a cupboard. I can stand on tiptoes and jump to reach it, but I can never do more than brush against it. I can get the briefest fragments of the memory, and I know objectively what happened, but I can't remember it, not really. It's like telling someone a story that happened to my sister. I know all the details, and I can imagine it so vividly, but I don't remember it, I'm just reciting information.
on the inverse, sometimes I can remember things but not understand what they are or what they mean. I get sensations and see faces or places or know that I was told to do X, but I don't know why that's important or why I'm scared by it, or why it steals the voice from my throat and makes me want to curl under the blankets so they can't get me (whoever 'they' are).
SWITCHING
we have what we call relay switches. basically when a switch happens, the alter switching out gives the alter switching in a rundown of what happened while they were fronting. so the new fronter appears to remember everything because they know what happened, when in reality they don't remember it at all, they just got briefed.
this is suuuper useful and efficient and avoids a good deal of dysfunction, but it's not foolproof. if the alter giving the briefing forgets something, or doesn't view something as important, then the new fronter won't know about it, and can't take it into account when making decisions.
example: we had a very masc alter switch in and not get told that our (fairly conservative) grandmother was coming over for dinner later that evening. As a result, we ended up stuck having dinner with her in a binder, sheer button up shirt, and a corset. This was Not Ideal and led to her making some very uncomfortable comments.
Some alters refuse to do briefings, which can cause similar problems.
gatekeepers also step in sometimes and force certain things to be omitted from the briefing. i can't give you any examples of things they'd want to hide, because... yk we don't remember any of them.
SYMPTOMS
we lose memories pretty much all of having symptoms, since being struggling wasn't allowed when we were a kid. it wasn't safe to struggle so we forgot that we struggled at all, so no one would ever know.
It's easier now, since we have new words that can communicate whats going on without directly talking about the experiences. We didn't know that what was happening was 'symptoms' back then and no one ever called it that, so talking about our 'symptoms' doesn't set anything off, when talking about our 'struggles' absolutely does. gatekeepers can tell us lists of symptoms that we experience, so we don't need to get the memories to prepare for when that symptom next makes an appearance.
example: we had a BPD episode yesterday, a bad one. I know what set it off, the list of symptoms we had to deal with, and how we dealt with it, but I don't remember what actually happened. I can't remember what we were thinking, what it felt like, any of the emotions, nothing. the closest I can get to actual episodic memory is that the lady we talked to on the helpline had a nice voice and was interested in the essay that we were trying to write, but I can't remember which bits interested her or what her voice sounded like.
TRAUMA MEMORIES
trauma memories are mostly a lot worse in terms of amnesia levels, since the knowledge of what happened is completely restricted to specific alters. we generally don't know that there's a trauma memory we don't have access to unless we're told it exists.
example: we didn't have the faintest clue that our school was actively traumatizing until a trauma holder fronted and wrote some extremely graphic vent poetry that mentioned specific teachers by name. that poem was almost immediately deleted by a gatekeeper, but there was another alter co con for about a minute and they saw a few lines of the poem and told someone else, and the situation snowballed from there.
basically, we forget that we forgot it.
TIME LOSS
if most of the memories from a given period of time have been lost to blackout amnesia, we can mostly recall split second memories and tiny fragments of a memory
example: we can remember the bag that held the baby blankets we got for that one teacher, but we don't remember her. we can remember the stupid plastic clock from the lesson on time that bored us out of our mind because it was so easy, but we can't remember the rest of the classroom. we remember hating the feeling of plasticine but playing with it anyway because all our friends were. we remember what the window looked like in the extension program room, but we don't remember the extension program.
I'm not sure if any of this will help you at all, but hopefully some of it will be useful.
Could DID systems who experience blackouts please reply with like how you experience them? Like how does it feel in the moment. Do you notice you've had them at all? Can you get any memory from the blacked times?
We are unsure because we have only had a concrete one once. A whole day disappeared until we were reminded of the date.
Now, constantly throughout the day we have moments of "waking up" into whatever the body is doing, but we can usually remember back and/or infer. I think it's more dissociating so hard we lose track? Im not sure if that's on the same level.
There's definitely a barrier, but I'd really like to hear more about it from other systems.

@chloeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee hi welcome to tumblr FINALLY!
i'm so so glad you're on here, it was kinda made for you ngl. anyway, here's the basic rundown of how it works here.
ANATOMY OF TUMBLR POSTS:
above you can see the average tumblr post. starting along the bottom are the 5 main buttons you'll see under every tumblr post. from left to right they are the notes button, the share button, the reply button, the reblog button, and the like button. the share button is rarely ever used so i'm not going to cover that.
the notes button: notes are the combined amounts of replies, reblogs, and likes a certain post has. clicking on the notes button will open the replies section and then you can switch between viewing the replies, the reblogs, and the likes. you can also view the spread of the post by clicking on the cluster of four circles. the reply button: this is speech bubble button. it'll open up to what is the comments sections of tumblr. it's like less-used version of tags (more on those later).
the reblog button: the most important button on a post hands-down. reblogging is how tumblr posts stay alive. it's how posts get circulated and it's a way to show the op that you enjoyed what they had to say. when you reblog a post, it appears on your blog when people scroll through it. most of my blog (and the majority of everyone on tumblr's blogs) are made up of reblogs. i think reblogging is neat because it shows what you're interested to anyone who finds your blog like a little bulletin board! so use reblogs whenever you find a post you like or think is cool. the like button: exactly what it sounds like. likes are less important here on tumblr (reblogs are the equivalent of likes) so you don't ever have to like posts. i do it as a reflex but whatever works for you.
another important part of a tumblr post are the tags. these are the little words under the actual post itself that start with #. tags are used to sort posts into categories like fandoms and topics that are talked about in the post. they're also used to express your own thoughts about the og post. so tags can look like this:
or this:
don't be afraid to just ramble, that's what the site's for. don't tag spam either, which is adding tags to a post that have no connection to the post itself. it's against the tos and just make everything messier. OTHER ADVICE:
block any tumblrs you don't like: nsfw tumblrs, porn bots, homophobic and transphobic blogs, and anyone you just don't like it. it's not personal and no one will take it as such. tumblr is about creating your own little space in the internet that's just for you and you can't do that without getting rid of the stuff you don't like. you can also block tags you don't want to see
make friends! reblog posts and add your own ideas in the tags or the reblogs. send asks to blogs you think are cool. yell things you like about posts in the tags. tumblr is weird because it doesn't have an algorithm and requires you to actually interact with posts and blogs to get stuff on your dash. so do it! some of the funniest, kindest people i know are my mutuals (or moots) on tumblr. the community on here is really great so take advantage of it.
search up #tumblr guide and #tumblr etiquette for more info on how to navigate this hellsite because i definitely did not cover anything.
most importantly be safe and have fun! i'm really glad you're on tumblr. hopefully, you'll soon love it like i do.
First post, kinda nerv
might as well introduce myself.
Hi, I’m Chloe, your local transfem catgirl :3
I like cats. And Blahaj’s.
My fav fandoms are gravity falls (I’m literally Pacifica), warrior cats (I’m literally cinderheart), heart stopper (I’m literally Elle), and spider verse (I’m literally Gwen)
Im probably just gonna rant about gender and dysphoria but also like metaphors and stuff
Because gender is a performance and sometimes you just don’t feel like it ❤️
But also just random silly stuff that pops into my head
Yay!
Byeeee ~
#veero rambles#moots patoots#long post#i've been working this for the better part of today#ended up being much longer than expected#oh well#irl on tumblr aaah#this is so exciting
