but with the inquisitor, josephine finally has something that's just hers. not someone she's with to better her family's wealth or reputation or to forge new alliances, but because they love her and she loves them. they declare it so in front of all of val royeaux. here is someone who values josephine for more than what she can do for them. they may not be human, they may not be a man, they may be a mage - nothing like what her family envisioned - and still she holds their hands in her own and says, "whatever awaits us, I would never have you face it alone."

this is a crystal palace surname von hoverkraft appreciation post. her outfits were always awesome despite having recently lost her memories and therefore most of her wardrobe tbh. she took no shit. she was willing to beat up a bunch of cats. she was being stalked by her literal demon ex and somehow still managed to get shit done. she gave no fucks about looking crazy talking to "herself" (except for that one time but wtvr). she was forced to wrestle with the possibility that the person she used to be was awful, yet proved herself to be inherently kind and good at every turn. she dragged the boys out to the states at the slightest chance that she could help a girl in danger. she immediately helped niko, both with her parasites and with her emotions, having only spoken to her once. she even went out on a limb to empathize with the evil witch who kidnapped her friends at the smallest possibility that their shared injustices could get through to her. she summoned a fucking goddess to reign in the witch she made immortal to get justice for hundreds of girls who didn't have a voice or a chance. ughhh she is just such a wonderfully written and developed character and SO underrated in this fandom and she deserves all the love from everyone all the time

I’m so blessed to meet this little lady, the first of my 7 cecropia caterpillars from last summer to emerge. I wasn’t counting on her to come so early! I’m hoping to find her a mate, but I don’t know how good her odds are in this neck of the woods. I found her mother in the suburbs about 5-7 miles from here, so I don’t know how many cecropia find their way close to the urban (but still residential) core.

For those wondering: she is every bit as soft as she looks and she sounds like a bird when she beats her wings. Also she has a strong smell; kinda like musty chocolate and old leaves.

If I am fortunate to get fertilized eggs out of this group, I would love to raise the next generation of caterpillars. They have brought me so much joy and I missed them so much during their long pupation.

actually we dont talk enough about how funny uriel's fan to idol pipeline is. girlie is out here in sweatpants eating only ramen while gabriel tries to keep her alive but on stage she's everyone's bias. at fansigns fans will stumble over their words trying to gush about how cool she is and she'll just nod solemnly in understanding. i love her so much.

I don't think I'll ever understand people who say they can't sympathize with Himiko Toga, tbh. Like...HOW? How can you not sympathize with this girl who was done so wrong by everyone around her? Who was made to think she was some horrible, inherently evil, ugly, demonic child just because she was a little different than others? Just because she loved differently? The girl who spent most of her life desperately masking, repressing herself and her desires, and pretending to be someone else all so that everyone around her would be comfortable...so that they would accept her, and love her...because she was so convinced that she would never be loved or accepted otherwise? Who snapped under all that desperation and loneliness??? Like, I just don't understand how there are people that exist who can't sympathize with that. Her entire story hits me somewhere deep and painful at my weird little roots near the part of me that's still a similarly lonely and strange little kid.
