hi ! i would be veryvery interested in a ben wyatt fic ^_^ im not very good at requests so im unsure how to specify ,, but possibly just some simple fluff of ben & the reader finally getting together or something after like everyone (except chris ofcofc) was secretly rooting for them in their own ways & stuff ⌠idk ! just a random idea, & u can change it however u want ! thank u very much in advance <3
The Dating Pool
Pairing: Ben Wyatt x reader
Warnings: none
Summary: Tension builds. Chaos unfolds. Love wins.
Requests are open
[...]
It started, as most mildly unhinged things in the Parks Department did, with Leslie Knope making a spreadsheet titled âOperation Get Those Two Adorable Dorks Together.â
âLook at themâ she whispered to Ann, pointing across the bullpen. âTheyâre like Jim and Pam, but with more budget reports and less kissing! It's TRAGIC.â
âDo you think they know how obvious it is?â Ann asked, sipping her coffee.
âNoâ Leslie said, pulling out a binder labeled Ben + Y/N: Road to Romance. âThatâs why we, as a department, must intervene subtly. With grace. With dignity. And also maybe with a fake work retreat where they have to share a tent.â
April, overhearing, added without looking up from her computer, âI already started a betting pool.â
âYES!â Leslie high-fived her. âThatâs the spirit!â
The only person who remained completely oblivious to the romantic tension that had been simmering for nearly a year was Chris Traeger.
âI just want to sayâ he announced one morning, âthat the synergy between Ben and Y/N is LITERALLY the most productive pairing I have ever seen in a government setting. Perhaps in any setting. Perhaps in history.â
âCool, coolâ Tom muttered, âCan I put forty on âBen cracks by Thursdayâ?â
[...]
You had tried to be professional. Truly, you had.
But Ben Wyatt was infuriatingly handsome in a floppy-haired, budget-conscious, accidentally-charming way. And every time he adjusted his tie while blushing after you complimented his latest economic model, your resolve wavered like a raccoon at a salad bar in Pawnee.
It didnât help that Leslie kept giving you and Ben joint assignments. Or inviting only the two of you to her weird, theme-heavy âTeam Bonding Brunches.â Or sending emails with subject lines like âJust Two Smart Attractive People Needed For This Task â Others Donât Qualify.â
Ben, for his part, was drowning.
He wasnât exactly smooth. His flirting style could best be described as âmild panic" especially when you wore that blazer he once accidentally told Donna âradiated competence and charm and kind of made his knees feel weird.â
He thought maybe you liked him back. But what if he ruined things? What if you didnât feel the same? What if he became the emotional Ice Town of your career?
So he stayed quiet. And longed. And ate his feelings in the form of an unhealthy amount of calzones.
[...]
Then came the Parks Department âSynergy Brainstormâ scheduled by Chris Traeger in a moment of extreme enthusiasm and a post-kale smoothie high.
âBen! Y/N!â Chris beamed, placing two color-coded folders in front of you. âYour connection is LITERALLY the backbone of this departmentâs functionality. I would like you to remain here and brainstorm for an extra hour. No distractions. Just pure, focused, platonic synergy!â
And with that, he left, the door clicking shut behind him.
Ben looked at you. You looked at Ben.
And something shifted.
âI donât think I can do this anymoreâ you said softly.
Ben blinked. âThe synergy meeting?â
âNo. This whole⌠pretending-not-to-be-slowly-falling-in-love-with-you thing.â
He froze.
âOh my godâ he said. âYou too?â
You let out a nervous laugh. âBen, weâve been dancing around this for months. Iâm pretty sure April made a voodoo doll about it.â
âShe didâ he said. âIt winked at me once.â
Silence. Then, awkwardly, sweetly:
âDo you want to go out to dinner sometime?â
âYes. Like, desperately.â
And then, Ben kissed you. It was warm and tentative and wonderful, like everything that had been building up between you had finally found a place to land.
Outside the conference room, the entire department (minus Chris) let out a muffled cheer.
Leslie burst into the bullpen fifteen minutes later with two sets of color-coded champagne flutes.
âI KNEW ITâ she shouted, waving a glittery binder in the air. âYou beautiful government nerds are IN LOVE, and democracy has NEVER been stronger!â
Ben, still pink in the face, adjusted his tie. âUm. We were going to try and keep it low-key, at least at first.â
Leslie looked personally offended. âExcuse you. This office has suffered for eleven months and three days watching you two make heart-eyes over pie charts. We earned this.â
"You count it?"
Tom held out his hand. âPay up, everybody. Ben cracked first.â
âNo wayâ Donna said. âShe said it first. Iâm getting my mani-pedi on your dime, Haverford.â
April typed something into the betting spreadsheet. âThis is the most emotionally invested Iâve been since I found that bird with one leg and named him President Screech.â
And Chris?
Chris walked in moments later, holding a tray of gluten-free muffins.
âWhatâs going on?â he asked brightly. âIs there a celebration?â
Everyone froze.
You and Ben looked at each other.
âUhâ you started.
âJust⌠high synergyâ Ben added quickly.
Chris smiled, thrilled. âAmazing! I LITERALLY had a dream last night that the two of you became co-managers of a regional morale task force. The synergy was off the charts!â
The entire department burst out laughing.
Chris, still oblivious, grinned. âI love inside jokes!â
[...]
From that day on, the dynamic changed.
Ben brought you coffee in the mornings. You âaccidentallyâ scheduled your lunch breaks at the same time. Leslie started planning double dates in a wildly overzealous Google Calendar labeled âPower Couples of Pawnee.â
And Chris?
He remained joyfully unaware for two more weeks, until he walked in on you and Ben making out in the supply closet next to a stack of Welcome to Pawnee pamphlets.
He gasped. âYou two are⌠DATING?!â
You pulled away, flustered. âWe were going to tell you!â
Chris blinked. Then his face split into the biggest smile youâd ever seen.
âI AM SO HAPPY I COULD LITERALLY DO A BACKFLIP.â
And he did. In the hallway. With perfect form.
Everyone clapped.
Leslie cried.
Ben turned to you, dazed. âDid that really just happen?â
You smiled. âItâs Pawnee. Of course it did.â

For the ask game, âď¸, đ andâ?
âď¸ What inspired you to make your clangen comic/ other media?
I was inspired mostly by cool Clangen blogs like @rippleclan and @mourningsbane, and I REALLY wanted to get back into writing after not writing at all for many years. I was out of practice and thought, hey, Clangen could be cool inspiration. THEN it was around Halloween season, so I wondered if there were any horror mods. And there was! The Woods. And THEN...the tagline was "Feed The Woods". And then I realized. "Wait. Isn't that something said in Gemini Home Entertainment once. Oh. Ohhoho wait, wait, IDEA. BIG IDEA. CATS IN MOONLIGHT ACRES. Nobody's done THAT before I think. Yep, tossing Woodcrawlers at the cats". And then I did it.
đDo you let clangen fully control names, or do you interfere? Where do you get inspiration for names for warriors and kittypets?
Mostly I let Clangen do its thing! If I find a name is REALLY silly or out of place I'll change the suffix, but typically I leave prefixes alone, except for in like, two circumstances. Same thing for the loners/kittypets! I let them keep their names unless it's something REALLY goofy, like First Generation iPod.
âDo you have any suggestions for people looking to start their own clangen blogs?
Oh man look I could go on and on for hours on this, but look, at the end of the day, three core things I can recommend:
Be mindful of your energy spoons and commit to how much effort you're willing to spend. I am NOT a good visual artist. A comic would kill me immediately because it's a LOT of hard work for me. That's why when I saw RippleClan's style of spritework, I had an epiphany: that was REALLY doable and a lot simpler. Guys, PLEASE do more stuff with sprites if you struggle with art. RippleClan and I have proven that you can do it!
Do not follow ClanGen's prompts 100% of the time, and for the love of god, don't be afraid to reset moons. Look, I know that's controversial, but sometimes it's okay to dig for a good story. Also, connect new outsider cats to Clan cats, and to one another sometimes. Riversnow and Barleywave in-game had zero correlation to each other. I MADE them be related to each other, because there WAS a missing gap: who was Warblerkit's mom? Is she okay out in these woods? Good question! That mom is now Riversnow, I'm now making it my job as the storyteller to see how they bond, if at all. My first outside, Lucifer, had long grey fur and was old enough to be Windfur's dad...so I made him Windfur's dad. Make things up!
You are writing/drawing fanfiction about battle cats please BE CRINGE. Please DO shove your special interests into your battle cats fanfic. Like, I literally said "haha what if I tossed cats into a pre-existing analog horror series". And then I did. NONE of the monsters in this blog are unique, they're all created by someone else. I was also inspired by Darkest Dungeon, a video game, and the lore about the "gentle camp ringed in spears"? Destiny 2. YEAH, I KNOW. I will keep fuckin doing it because it's a guilty pleasure and I have fun. I'm not making money out of this, so like...why not, right?

Okay, onto gen 5 characters. I've said it before, but gen 5 is probably my favorite for a lot of reasons, and in this case, it's the most like home imo, and the characters are fantastic all around.
Starting with Hilbert, the male mc of BW1. Hilbert is basically a callback to Red in a few ways, but he's also the protagonist I have always found the easiest to project onto. Why? As a teen, that was probably the closest to me a Pokemon mc would get. The thick brown hair and brown eyes especially. The outfit is simultaneously a disaster and pretty cool, I'd maybe unzip the hoodie, perhaps untuck the shoes, and maybe I'd just have a regular backpack, but he's probably my favorite vanilla MaleC out of all the others. Hilbert and Hilda are supposed to be a little older than past protagonists, and their designs definitely have a broader range of age most could project onto imo- basically a Scooby Doo situation, where you can be anywhere from 15 to late 20s and kinda pull off whatever you're going for. 9/10, Samurott coded
And of course, the best vanilla MaleC is paired with the best vanilla FemC. I might be biased by the short shorts and ponytail, but when I was a teenager, Hilda came in around the same age I was and really NAILED that American girl look- other than the vest and wrist bands, this could literally be any number of girls I grew up with and had a crush on, my age, slightly younger, or older than I was. Hell, to this day, this is still how a lot of girls dress in the summer here, maybe subbing the boots for tennis shoes or sandals. To me, that's the PERFECT blank slate for those people, perfect for any age range really. Other FemCs tend to be more girly girl in design on a vanilla basis, but Hilda really is that tomboy girl friend you had growing up. 10/10 design.
We'll skip a little to the bw2 protagonists. There is a slight change of art style that I think is probably my favorite interpretation of the Pokemon art style by none other than Yusuke Ohmura. He has a pretty nice shading style that really works well with character design, and the Pokemon he designs are pretty top notch- Samurott and its family being some of them.
Oh GOD NO. NO NO NO. Not this one. Okay look, BW2 are my favorite games in the series, and I do like a decent chunk of the outfit- except the hair and hat. Some fan art manages to fix up the hair, but official art just makes it look awful as they can on every level. Nate is such a huge downgrade from Hilbert in so many ways that it's so hard to project onto. I know they're going for a sporty triathlete look, and from the neck down he has that covered- maybe a little TOO pasty, but it's passable. But with the head and hair, he reads like of those dorky aged 40 to 50 something people that are athletic, but wear the stupidest clothes possible- except Nate also looks like he's having that midlife crisis at the ripe old age of 14. 5/10 man, that hair and hat just ruin everything. Such a shame because it's literally my favorite game and my favorite gen.
Rosa on the other hand is definitely the standout protagonist of bw2. Other than the hair and hat, I've definitely seen women my age (at the time, so 17 or 18) or older wear a look like this. The hair is definitely stand out, but Princess Leia twin tails is such an iconic look that it just works really well for her. Maybe the short shorts a little frilly, but I have seen joggers wear dolphin shorts with leggings like this, and tbh I've seen people without the shorts going to Walmart. The shoes sort of combine the style and sensibility of Hilbert and Hilda and the top is honestly a nice choice for a sporty look- if I could ever find them in my size, I'd love to wear baseball shirts like this. I remember the bra? Bikini top? Whatever that pink thing is peaking- it caused some ruckus when she was first revealed, but honestly it's fine and I think it's a cute addition- plenty of people would expose more and be safe in a realistic setting. I wouldn't say she's as good as Hilda, but she manages to retain that neutral age range where you can sort imagine whatever you want, which to me she reads as 18 or so- although I do think it is harder to call her a blank slate with as much personality as she has. Still, a fantastic design, and proooobably when a lot of guys starting played as the girl simply because they tend to look better than the guys. 9/10, we can pretend Nate doesn't exist, right?
Now onto the rivals, starting with BW1, and probably my favorite cast of rivals given their stories
Cheren is a good mix of analytical and competitive in my mind, and certainly read like a character that would have gone Sasuke on the rest of us were it not for intervention from Alder. His team is also pretty unique and decent, and I personally just can't see him with anything other than Serperior as a starter. He's a decent challenge- not scary like Route 110 May or Azalea Town exit Silver, but he keeps you on your toes and is a decent friend to you- maybe not to Bianca at first, but I kinda ship em after a bit. An 8 for a really good story arc, I really thought he'd end up as another dragon chosen in the Pokemon Grey we never got.
Design wise? Oh God we stole ALL his rizz. It's definitely just shy of "um ackshualee" nerdy, the hair just... boy, who cuts your bangs? Fire them please. And also, I fucking hate pants with exposed ankles- nobody but hipsters wear pants like that. Nobody. No. "But I do" no you don't, you don't exist or you're a hipster. I think this is actually the start of the fad of exposing most male ankles in the series and it drives me up the wall. Get regular fit pants, the skinny jeans ruin it, and please fix your bangs, bro. 5/10 on design
Congrats on the transition, Barry- oh sorry, force of habit- Bianca. Jokes aside, again with the green and orange. Someone at game freak was craving carrots I stg. The outfit definitely read as someone that was sheltered by her daddy for a long time, an innocent and sweet type that's kinda clueless to the world- especially its fashion sensibilities (I headcanon Elesa helped her pick out better clothes eventually). Its definitely an outfit I might have seen on some of my church girl friends- in different colors mind you. Its fine, but it definitely isn't something you should reasonably be exploring with imo. 6/10, bw2 is just a better fit
On a character level, though, I really do admire her for at least trying to come out of her shell. She didn't land among the stars, but the decision to leave home against her father's wishes to *find herself* is such a relatable experience I've always felt I could have experienced had things gone only slightly different at home. She is such a sweetheart, and her heart is stupid big (like her forehead). I feel like she's actually more dangerous than other rivals in some cases, often ambushing you at really inopportune times. Technically, I think she might be stronger than most female rivals, too. I definitely feel like her character could have used a little more development in BW1, but BW2 finalizes it in a way that I can't help but just really enjoy her character. 8/10
Cheren BW2- not so much a rival anymore, but a mentor figure now and the first gym leader we fight, taking up the Normal type from Lenora. I definitely still abhor the bangs and the ankle exposing skinny jeans, but he does look better and more realized. He's nervous about his new job, but he's doing a fine job as a gym leader and teacher. He did lose the glasses for some reason- wonder where they went hmmmm? But honestly, I think he looks better without them.
I do love how he's still super gung-ho about stopping Team Plasma, even with his new job. He's still our bro in arms, and I gotta respect that- I will say, I do think being a normal type kinda comes from nowhere, unless maybe Bianca lent him her Stoutland or something- maybe in exchange for those glasses hmmmm? But all teasing aside, I guess starting as the first gym leader- a role meant to endure loss after loss- shows remarkable character growth from the previous game of being obsessed with strength. That, and I guess you gotta start from the bottom if you're going to become a gym leader. In my ideal BW3, I'd see him become a mix type final gym leader akin to Blue tbh.
Design is an improved 7/10. Character arc is an 8.
Oh honey, you look so much better and much more comfortable. Bianca looks so much more sure of herself, too, now acting as Professor Juniper's assistant, and imo should hopefully become a future professor. Her BW1 outfit felt super restrictive and tight in some places, but her BW2 outfit feels a bit looser, a bit more cozy, and honestly kind of a good representation of what happens when she finally follows her own path rather than her dad's wants or the gym path. The green and orange even look better here! And- HEY THERE'S CHEREN'S GLASSES! What a cutie lol.
I really love her character in BW2, going from a girl that's unsure of which foot to step with first to becoming a big-sister type mentor to us. She's a lot braver and even travels with us through Reversal Mountain in a mutual aid to each other- I've definitely grinded my ass off in there a few times with her to help heal my Pokemon. Honestly, probably one of the best character growths in all of Pokemon.
Design is an 8/10, character is a 9/10
Hugh, our rival from BW2. He definitely has Nate beat in terms of drip and hair. Probably one of my favorite rival designs in the entire series- ruined by ankle GOD DAMMIT WHO AT GAME FREAK IS FROTHING AT THE MOUTH TO SEE MALE ANKLES SO BADLY!? Well, in any case, he has that edgy look DOWN, with a really nice blend of navy and red that avoids being outright black- as evident from his gloves and shoe accents. The white also really helps his design stand out. The design really makes him seem like this super badass, and he kind of is on some level. 9/10 design
On a rival level, though, he's less of a rival and more of a bro, which is kind of surprising given the Adidas Sasuke vibe he's got going on. His little sister's Purloin was stolen by Team Plasma two years ago, and that's enough to send him on a revenge quest, recruiting us to help him in this endeavor and only testing our strength a few times in game to make sure we're still up to snuff. He is RIGHT in the thick of it, their down fall and the rescue of that cat being the only thing this guy cares about. It is kind of admirable and cool on some level, although he definitely isn't as good of a character or rival as Cheren and Bianca. In fact, once he gets the Liepard back, his character kinda halts into just testing your strength. Also, his team isn't really the most fleshed out- he does have some interesting picks like a starter he bred from an egg, a Bouffalant (probably what he's best known for), a FLYGON, an Eelektross- unfortunately, for most of the game, he only really uses his starter, Unfeasant, and a Simi-ape. It reads a bit like he's too tunnel visioned and single-minded to bother training too many Pokemon, being too busy taking out Team Plasma to find that Pokemon.
As a character, I'd give him an 8. As a rival, maybe a 7.
Finally, probably the most complex character from gen 5 and maybe the most complex rival of all time- because he's also a puppet evil team leader, champion, king, and chosen hero of a legendary. Unlike every other rival, N's teams are never the same, basically only being comprised of Pokemon he's locally captured and then released so that he can allow them to be free. As a character, he's the first in the franchise to really bring the question of whether Pokemon battles are even ETHICAL, and he's also the first evil team leader to be a champion, AND the first rival to use a legendary against you. He's a super complex character, believing Pokemon to be inherently abused and misused by humans strictly because his "adoptive" father (green hair adopts green hair? really?) basically manipulated him childhood into only being exposed to abused and neglected Pokemon. Given the information he's working with, it's honestly no surprise he's willing to go so far to save Pokemon, and is kind of admirable to see just how far that conviction takes him. The information fed to him is a lie, but his belief in doing the right thing is real, and that I think makes him one of the best "villains" of the entire series. I especially love that he mellows out after BW 1 and is dedicated to learning how to enjoy Pokemon battles- in BW2, he even has rotating WEATHER teams based on what season it is. He's clearly super smart, just mislead, and when given the opportunity to do right, he's quick to do so once he understands things. As a character, I think he's super cool. 9/10, I sincerely hope we reunite the BW1 protagonist with him canonically (and not in Masters).
Natural Harmonia Gropius, though? Man wha the- that's a fucking 1/10 name. I am so sorry your dad hated you, bro.
On a design level, I think it's a pretty clever one. In BW1, he wears an outfit that pairs pretty decently with the BW1 protagonists, and the hat is a very interesting choice- a call back to Red's in a way, much like how Hilbert and Hilda are gen 1 callbacks to a certain extent, but his hat is black and white- much like the games, and also to sort of flip the original script. The outfit is pretty clean, although I will say, it does not read much like a "king" or "evil team leader" by any means. It does read like someone purposely trying to blend in, though, so that does get points. The green feels like a call to nature in a way, yet his eyes are *empty*, as if lifeless- very unnerving, especially with his super fast text speed (fun fact, it is actually a little faster than the fastest text option, and will play that fast even on the slowest setting) and his ability to talk to Pokemon. It's all pretty evident of a character that's being manipulated or maybe a little insane. He literally is Black and White, a man of both Truth and Ideal. 9/10 on the character design.
Oof. And then next is gen 6.

*wakes up in a cold sweat in the dead of the night* I don't know enough about loomf 's symoth (???) (PHLIGHTING??? MISS MOTH TIMOTHY PHLIGHTING AND MISS SCYTHE PLIGHTING??? HELP)
May I know more? <3

FROTHS AT THE MOUTH OH BOY OKAY SOO
some silly funfacts to get started:
-she/they
-horrible sleep schedule (you can find her sleeping basically anywhere dark)
-crashes quite a bit when flying (good acquaintances with medkit bcs of it)
-decently strong, can pick up a body. with effort but still could probably pickup scythe
-suck up
-doesnt like asking for things or confrontation
-runs away from problems literally n metaphorically
-jack of all trades master of none
-hates hates hates loved ones getting injured/going missing bcs her brain immediately thinks theyre gonna DIE
-anxious mess
-jittery and skittish, fidgets a lot
backstory
moth was a lost, poor lil guy who had no home no kin and no destination (/ref) and survived through pickpocketing, odd jobs and luck. (pre playful land fellow honest style) she'd gotten injured at some point after getting caught stealing which is why one side of her wings was replaced w a prosthetic (after she joined the cult)
at some point scythe found her (either through alleyway encounter or near death experience i havent decided yet) and they ended up building a weird sorta friendship by bonding over being criminals (moth has committed a lot of thievery and maybe one accidental murder cough) and annoying banhammer together. then eventually scythe offers moth a place to stay, food to eat and a family (the cult) so moth accepts bcs of course she would she has no other option
they grow close in the cult, along with broker and katana (though katana leaves the cult uh. very violently. causing many a trauma and broken trust) and eventually yuri yay yippee!! tentative strangers to yuri!!!
cult stuff
- moth's job in the cult is basically just odd jobs here and there: delivery, errand running, idk what else but it involves travel and or transport mostly cuz she's fast and she likes travelling
- wishes she and scythe could live without the fear of being caught by the authorities, and wishes they could both have more stability and not have to rely on the cult to survive. unfortunately scythe is fully loyal to the cult
- ^ i accidentally made them doomed bcs of this sobs- moth, in later years, would want to leave the cult. maybe after encountering katana more often. however, even if she were to leave, where would she go? she has no friends or connections outside of the cult, and due to her association with it + her past committed crimes, she'd still constantly be on the run, with the additional threat of the cult hunting her down for being a heretic. but in the cult, she basically can't have any friends outside of it (which yeah thats the point) and she'd never really be free to do what she wants. everything she does and says is monitored and controlled by the cult and she doesnt really even get to keep most of the money she makes bcs it goes back towards the cult.
- ^^ additionally, if they were to leave the cult, they couldn't stay with scythe. scythe would never look at her the same if she were to admit how much she dislikes staying in the 'family'. she'd seen what happened when katana left.
relationships
- moth -> scythe: scythe saved her life. gave her a life, even. cannot live without her. will do anything for her gf. yearns to be with scythe without the cult acting as a middleman. drawn to her like a moth to a flame. disgustingly in love haha GAY GAY GAY
- scythe -> moth: moth is a core part of scythe's life. she's powerful, a high ranking and respected person within the cult. people respect and fear her, yes, but nobody except moth and broker really like her. moth loves her without condition, expectation or fear. she absolutely adores moth
- moth -> katana: misses him. katana, scythe and moth (and broker even tho he joined a bit late) were very close together. katana and moth kinda had a mutual understanding though, even if neither of them confronted it. they werent fully happy with the life they had in the cult. unfortunately, katana was much braver.
- katana -> moth: mixed feelings. again, kinda had a mutual understanding with moth over the cult thing. but moth chose to stay. he can't overlook that. he knows she isnt as loyal to the cult as scythe and broker are, but he knows she's too far in to get out. pities them enough to not immediately try to kill her on sight at least
- broker & moth: not much to say with this one theyre kinda just chill w each other sorry i havent developed it much
- moth -> medkit: thinks he's cool, respects him. very thankful to him for upgrading their prosthetic wings
- medkit -> moth: neutral w her. wishes theyd stay out of his office more stop getting injured so much!!! /silly
- moth -> banhammer: HATES him. he's part of the reason her wings broke before (not sure how yet ill write it in eventually) also scared of him cuz. well. police. just doesnt like him
- banhammer -> moth: moth is an annoyance to him. keeps stealing shit, and when she isnt, she's aiding and abetting (kinda?) a serial killer (scythe) and also extremely difficult to catch bcs shes so fast
likes and dislikes
likes:
- fire (moth things. pretty lights yippee)
- travelling (has been to every faction except blackrock bcs she doesnt want to. likes exploring a lot)
- night time (again moth things)
- rain (its rarely cool in lost temple so rain is just. nice weather. she's very temperature sensitive okay)
- reading (she never really got to sit down n learn stuff so she enjoys it sometimes. she isnt very good at it though. consequences of being homeless and a criminal for the first half of her life ig)
dislikes:
- sudden loud noises (jumpscares in general tbh)
- extreme cold (again, temperature. she's built for the desert man)
- being bound or restrained against her will (theyre very jittery and being slowed down means she cant run which means danger which mean ew ew BAD)
okay. thats most of it i think. heres some extra stuff to end off thank you for opening the floodgates
(left to right) moth and scythe height comparison
this is just. her core
#the void#holy sjit this took a qhile to write#glad to finally get it all out#moth phighting#answered ask#phighting oc#this will probably be added to and or edited#eventually#scymoth

Ranking the Bridgerton Books
Well. I have finished all eight novels in Julia Quinn's Bridgerton series (yes - I know there are a bunch of spin-offs, and that's great -- I have no desire to read those.) And of course, I have thoughts...
Before I jump into the rankings, though, I a few overall thoughts... I liked the series much more than I thought I would. Look, I'm rarely a romance reader, and really have no desire to read most historical fiction. But these books aren't as bad as I feared they would be. They're fun and light and you could probably read them all over the course of a week if you were dedicated to it. I don't know that there's anything (to me) that makes them really stand out, but other than being rather dated, and depicting some historical-ish things, I don't think there is anything too offensive about them, either.
I also... don't love Julia Quinn's writing style. These books -- are literally all the same structure of book. Some of the plot details, and the character tropes are different. But if you read one, you've read all of them, so you either have to get on board with that, or not. I also have to quibbles with the writing -- first of all, the men, omg, are usually pretty terrible. Most of the time they're prone to anger and they're just kind of asshats all the way around. The second thing is a writer-y thing. Quinn lets a scene go on and on and on for way too long without really doing anything, which caused the books to drag a bit. These books could have worked at half length, but ah well.
I think also, one thing that I wrestled with throughout, is that I think my favorite aspect of all the books -- was more about the Bridgertons as a family, and sibling dynamics, etc, than the actual romances. I don't know if any of the actual romances really worked for me, ultimately. None of them moved me emotionally the way I think they were supposed to. And that's fine. (No, I don't have a heart of stone - I just relate to romance stories in a different way than these books are presented, I suppose.) Idk - this thought may get another post.
That all said... The thing about ranking these is this -- all of it is incredibly subjective. Because I think the fact that they all use such different tropes, everyone is going to feel differently towards each book? And some things are going to resonate with certain people, while other people are going to enjoy aspects of other books? So - this is just tuned into my own tastes, and less about looking at how the books were written (because, honestly -- I'd rate them pretty much all at the same level) and more about how I felt when reading them.
8. When He Was Wicked (Francesca and Michael)
I know, I know, I know I'm starting off with a controversial choice. When I was looking into the books, there were so many people who put this near and at the top. And I do get it -- this might be the most solid love story of the bunch; Michael is one of the best leads in that he is the least problematic, this book definitely has the spiciest smutty scenes, and their arc to each other probably makes the most sense.
But my god, did I find this book utterly boring. Here's the thing -- a lot of this book is tied up with death, grieving, hurt, and comfort. There's a lot of tragedy in Francesca's story -- and I these kind of thematic elements resonate with a lot of readers, and I get that! It's just not for me. They aren't the tropes I seek out when reading romance, and I didn't find myself caring all that much.
Add to that the fact that Francesca probably has the least connection to her family, and Michael's yearning just doesn't do it for me as it does other people, and this book just doesn't work (for me). So, it's at the bottom.
7. The Duke and I (Daphne and Simon)
I was actually pleasantly surprised when I read the book that I didn't hate it, because (and I'm so sorry) I don't really love their romance on the screen. With the exception of the incredibly problematic moments (you know which ones...) this book is by no means bad. I just found it, like When He Was Wicked, a bit boring at times. (I don't think it helps that I've seen the show enough times that I know the plot pretty well, and this book is adapted rather well for the show.)
My biggest issue is that Daphne is a rather blank slate -- ready for you to fill her in with your own experiences because she is almost a stand in for the reader more so than an actual character. And Simon is going to kick off a long line of male characters who have daddy and anger issues. But it also is the book that feels the most historical? I felt like we were in Regency England -- as opposed to pretty much all the rest of them feeling like generically historical.
Again, it's decently written for what it is, just feels a bit bland, which is why it's near the bottom.
6. To Sir Phillip, With Love (Eloise and Phillip)
I honestly expected to hate this book based on its reputation for being at the bottom or nearly at the bottom of every rankings list I sought out before I jumped into these. And... I didn't hate it. Is it the worst written one? Probably. Is Phillip Crane just a terrible person? Oh, absolutely. Is it hard to go to this Eloise after loving show Eloise so dearly? You bet!
But I didn't hate it -- and, even if there are definitely elements that are truly terrible, it kept me more engaged than the previous two books. I read somewhere recently that this book is also, kinda, a Beauty and the Beast retelling and I'm like -- huh, that makes a lot of sense. I can totally see it.
This book gets bumped up, also, for having one of my favorite sequences in the entirety of the series -- when Eloise's four brothers end up showing up at Phillip's doorstep to defend their sister. It's kind of hilarious, and as someone who really likes the sibling dynamics of these books, really works for me.
There's actually some fun things going on in this book... if you can overlook some of the more problematic aspects of it (and yes, it definitely has a lot of those, which is why it's near the bottom.)
5. An Offer From A Gentleman (Benedict and Sophie)
Hey, it's the Cinderella story -- and my god, it's literally Cinderella... in the first third of the book. And you know, I actually did like the first half of this book pretty well. I think Sophie is probably one of the sweetest characters in these books. And I think the story, overall, hangs together pretty well.
Which is why I have it here in the middle. The unfortunate thing is that half way through, things take a real turn, and Benedict -- who is mostly a blank slate at best up until this point -- becomes possibly one of the worst male characters in any of these books. He's raging and possessive and is just kind of a jerk, which makes the second half of the book unpleasant to read.
Which is a real shame, because I think I like the overall ideas in the book; the fairy tale angle, My Cottage, the fact that Sophie starts working for the Bridgertons... there are a lot of really good and interesting plot points going on, and the only real thing weighing it down is the fact that Benedict is an asshat...
4. On The Way To The Wedding (Gregory and Lucy)
It is kind of funny that this book ends up as high as it does, because it's almost by default. I struggled with the first half of this book. Really, I did. It suffers from being somewhat bland and boring in the way the bottom two books on this list suffer. But man that second half...
It's just kind of a bonkers wild ride that throws everything at the wall. There's actually some action going on (other than sexual, these books don't see a whole lot of action) and the characters become a bit wacky. Maybe that's due to Quinn being at the end of the line with this series, but man, I appreciate these characters kind of breaking out of their expected molds.
And Gregory and Lucy are likable enough. I don't know if I fully buy their romance, Gregory switches on a dime from one girl to the next, but honestly, they're more enjoyable to spend time with than many of the other couples on this list, so I'll take it.
3. The Viscount Who Loved Me (Anthony and Kate)
You know, I toyed with this being number one for a while, and I honestly see why it often tops a lot of lists. It really was a fun book to read -- the whole enemies to lovers, Taming of the Shrew stuff really works. Plus, both Kate and Anthony are well drawn, engaging and interesting characters. I think some of the best actual character of the series work is done in this novel, and it might be the romance I think works the best? (Kind of? I think it might be the romance that Quinn manages to portray the best? idk...) Plus, the story just remains engaging all the way through.
I also think this is some of the most fun, broader world stuff going on. The sibling dynamics are great, the pall mall stuff is a lot of fun, they get the best second epilogue when the family gets together again, and there's some great stuff with Penelope!
I guess what's holding me back from actually placing it on top is the fact that I wasn't a huge fan of the last third(-ish) of the novel. The way they're forced into marriage is just kind of dumb (seriously - no one would believe the bee sting?) and it just felt like Anthony took a little too long to settle into his marriage.
But this book is really good -- and if I were to recommend only one book to new fans, it'd probably be this one.
2. Romancing Mister Bridgerton (Colin and Penelope)
I've really had to sit and think about this one, and have been back and fourth about its placement for a long while. And... it kind of comes down to this...
Penelope is one of the best characters in this whole series (even if she really is only in the first four books). She just is; and I really love her and her story and despite the fact that I have issues with this book (and my god, I have issues with this book) I think my love for her as a character kind of transcends that. The Lady Whistledown stuff, too, remains one of the most interesting elements of these books (and it's a damn shame it disappears after this book). And that is why I have this one so high.
Because, my god Colin. Okay. So here's the thing that really hurts, though --- Colin in every other book I absolutely adore. I really do, he's hilarious and charming and fun and a good guy. And the problem in his own book is that Quinn tries to force him from being the easy going, fun one into crazy angry guy like Simon, Anthony, and Benedict before him -- and it makes him come off as a mentally unstable asshat as he swings between those two character types, and I think with better characterization, had Colin not swung so hard in that angry direction, I would have fully loved this book.
I would have even said this is a great book.
So, I don't know, maybe I love the possibility of this book more than the actual book itself, maybe I just have fallen in love with the characters so much in the last four months I'm giving this one a pass, maybe because I like the characters outside this book, too, that I'm giving it some room, but I just feel it goes here. And, i mean, there truly is a lot I do like about the book, too, don't get me wrong. but it's not perfect, it's not the best, and I get that. But it means something to me, and I suppose that's what matters.
1. It's In His Kiss (Hyacinth and Gareth)
Hyacinth is a goddamn delight, and this was the only book of the series that I truly enjoyed the whole way through.
And I think, in a way kind of opposite of Francesca's book, there are a bunch of tropes all working together that are a bunch of my favorite tropes. It's a funny book -- Hyacinth is a true joy in pretty much all the books she is in, and she gets to be fun and banter-y here with Gareth. This book is a comedy, in some ways, and that's great. She and Gareth go on sleuthing and solving mysteries together, which of course I love. And the two of them fall in love as they become friends and grow closer together through the shared interest of the mystery. And I mean, yeah, I am here for all of that.
Like all of these books, it's not perfect -- Gareth suffers (on a milder level) of the angry, daddy issue male lead thing. And there are times when I'm like, good god, Julia Quinn, why....
But after really thinking about it, and thinking about which books I'd really like to have and/or read again, this one just kept bubbling back up the list. Because besides RMB, this is, possibly, the only one I have a desire to read again. Because it was a delight.
And... there we go! All the Bridgerton Books Ranked. :)
#bridgerton#bridgerton books#polin#polination#i'm not tagging them all#ooff#well#guess that is that#feels a little bittersweet to be done

Shuri Sugarcoat Truffle
I remembered having an OC for My Little Pony, I miss her sm. Especially when I add her in MLP infections too...
Age: 500+
Name: Shuri Sugarcoat Truffle
Gender: Female
Pronouns: She/her/ShurryCorn/TruffleSugarLand
Race: Alicorn, half ??? [<-We will get to the parents' lore soon]
Personality: Enigmatic, Shuri tends to fly away or 'disappear' at random times. It could be from leaving the conversation she finds boring or simply lost interest since something else caught her eye, or it could be in a situation where she finds something else to entertain her. Shuri is known to be bright and colorful (literally speaking bc of her appearance, but also personality wise), or sometimes crptic and vague, nothing is known much about her behavior, but she can be loud and cheery whenever she pleases, sometimes it is rare seeing her in an argument, usually, one-sided, or none to argue with her. Shuri likes following Twilight (<-a big fan of Twi, but only in MLP infection Aus), Shuri likes to flash [temporarily blind the infected] so she/Twilight could have time to escape. Good with finding resources, she has almost no scent, but being close to her, you can distinctively smell truffle donuts or occasional baked goods. She likes being vigilant at times whilst being laid-back [don't ask how, she's doing both], most likely to never get caught by the infected, except for her friends...
Appearance: Shuri's hair looks dark, in an ebony way, but once she activates her power it changes color, she's like, a customizable avatar, where her hair changes color from pastel reds to magnetic blues, she can turn it dark, but in Infected!au settings, preferably pastel or mute (depending on what kind of infected!au we're talking abt), and yes, she glows like a glowstick whenever it's in bright colors.
Hair Description: Wavy hair (Celestia style) Three layers thick, the 1st layer is short and a bit messy with heart curls, 2nd layer is medium, 3rd hair is the longest, this part of the hair is considered beautiful in her family, it touches to her ankle/feet.
Next, is her mane, same with her hair but, it's in a different color [<-If Shuri's hair is pastel pink, then her mane goes pearlescent rainbow which, adds more light for protection. If Shuri's hair is mute blue, than her mane goes for a shadowy, almost foggy black or grey. Again, depends on the color but the light (pearlescent rainbow effects) and the foggy dark (Shadow, foggy effects) will still stay, no matter the color].
Mane Description: Thick Mane, fluff up, at least, 7-10ft long [<-can't you tell I love long hair/manes? Omg, I love them so much, especially short hair, but I like this one]. Again, three layers and flowy, 1st is the smallest, 2nd is the medium, 3rd is the longest.
Shuri's horn is usually not present, and if it is then she probably had decided to show off her horn, which is just the same as her skin, but when she activates her magic, her horn changes into a bright [???] Color, flaring up her tattoos that encircle where her horn should be, and the lines around her forehead, symbolizing some sort of flower crown.
Shuri is Doe-eyed, and her eye color (again, she's customizable bc she said so) in her normal form, just hazel eyes (You get the gist when she can customize her eye color, depending if she uses pastel or dark colors for her hair and mane).
Shuri often wears light-colored lipstick or lip gloss(human form) or, eyeshadows (Pony form)
Shuri's skin color in Pony style is white/Caramel [idk I couldn't remember how I drew her so I chose this instead] and in human style, she's caramel skin (just a bit darker would be nice).
Shuri has 4 wings on each side of her head, the bigger ones is at the back, the medium ones is in front of the said bigger ones, the smaller ones are at the side of both her head, the smallest ones are the closes that often cover her face whenever she wants to (or when she feels flustered).
Shuri has multiple wings on her back (ranging differently on how much she wants to manifest), especially the ones on her head. But usually, prefers to have 1 or 3 wings in use. (<-Again, half Alicorn, the other half came from her mother, it's explained soon)
Shuri's style would be almost like Pinkie Pie with a mix of Fluttershy, but still keeps tidy and organized like Rarity. In human form? She wears a Kimono that goes off the shoulders to reveal her back [she needs to, just in case she spreads her wings].
Shuri in human form is slightly chubby on her legs, arms, thighs, stomach, and hips. She is small-chested (gotta give some love to small/flat chested girlies !!!).
Shuri has a star symbol on her back, which is quite big between her shoulder blades, it is a symbol for her mother, and has an eye tattooed on her right hand at the back of her palm, symbolizing her father.
Hometown: ??? Unknown. But she somehow knows about Equestria.
Hobbies: mostly staying at home writing, or playing board games by herself, socializing with others if being alone gets too boring, playing around with Pinkie Pie[<-this changes when it's infection! Au], hanging around with Fluttershy's animals, soaring through the skies with Rainbow Dash, looking at/poking at things she finds interesting, sewing plushies.
Relationships:
"Shuri finds Pinkie Pie fun and cheery, she likes Pinkie's effort to make everyone smile, she admires her and would wish she could make someone smile too. Pinkie likes Shuri because Shuri aspires to be Pinkie!"
"Shuri finds Rarity beautiful, she likes Rarity's fashion and organized lifestyle, but she would sometimes wish that Rarity wasn't so much of a perfectionist sometimes... Rarity on the other hand, liked using Shuri as a model, she is pretty to be one."
"Shuri finds Fluttershy a delight! Fluttershy likes her too and tolerates her presence often. Both Shuri and Fluttershy bond over animals."
"Shuri thinks it's admirable that Apple Jack is hardworking, and determined. She likes Apple Jack. While AJ on the other hand, likes her too, Shuri is quiet when needed to be, and a very helpful individual."
"Shuri thinks Rainbow Dash is competitive, but admires her determination to win, even when it seems impossible. Rainbow Dash appreciates Shuri, she's her personal cheerleader."
"Shuri thinks Spike is cool, she likes dragons, and often speaks with him whenever Twilight is busy. Spike, on the other hand sometimes gets chills whenever Shuri mentions her mother, but respectful and sweet nonetheless, I wonder why?"
"Shuri admired Twilight from the very start, and managed to befriend her and stay by her side waiting. While Twilight, thinks her presence is soothing, veiled with mystery, she enjoys rambling about her research to Shuri."
Infected!Au relationships:
"Shuri doesn't know Pinkie Pie, but had heard about her before. Unusually feeling a wave of nostalgia, she wonders why?"
"Shuri once saw Rarity, but that's it. She only saw her once before going home, then coming back to Equatria to see it in ruins and complete silence."
"Fluttershy was once her friend back in childhood, but it was the last time she had seen Flutter again. Now she had met the current Fluttershy, Shuri is heartbroken, but had to move on."
"Apple Jack is no longer recognizable, each foreign name seemed familiar in a way. But, she can't recognize AJ, for she had departed far away."
"Shuri had heard about Rainbow Dash and her achievements, but never knew her personally. Shuri saw the current state of Rainbow Dash, and had to retreat to Twilight's safespace."
"Spike is unrecognizable to Shuri. She wishes to know why these people sounded so important to her, if they were friends before, or were friends in another universe."
"Shuri sticks with Twilight, she always gets resources for Twilight because of frantic research about a cure, she first met Twilight when she came back to Equestria, in hopes of finding nostalgia with her parents. But was met with Infected ponies instead, Shuri's light protected her, and the necklace given by her mother had helped her. Tattoos glowed as a sign of retaliation, but Twilight snatched her in time before she can exert her energy." [<-works both ways in human form or Pony form]
Trivia about: Shuri Sugarcoat Truffle
â˘Shuri has a ton of tattoos mostly about stars; on her back between her shoulder blades, her top left shoulder, on the right side of her left upper- thigh, and on her third wing to her right side of her head. Eye tattoos on: the back of her palm, on the side of her right shoulder, on her forehead that encircle where the horn should be [<-but it's the eye socket outline, while the horn is the 'eye'] and a rose tattoo: on the middle of her chest, slightly to the top.
â˘Shuri was childhood friends with Fluttershy before they got separated and gave her a pink flower for her hair.
â˘Shuri is very useful combat and resources wise. She likes to collect resources, while warding off the infected.
â˘Shuri had been vigilant the moment she stepped in Equastria, suspecting something went awry.
â˘Shuri wanted to hug Fluttershy after seeing her, but paused before she could run up to her, Fluttershy was gone.
â˘Shuri had a crush on Fluttershy, btw.
â˘Her Pony mark wasn't visible, but it's transparent and you can see a faded-out heart shape, with a star hole in it. Making it look like a heart-shaped donut with an uneven inside.
â˘Shuri's Father is a beautiful Alicorn, a rarity (Haha, get it?). While her mother was... something. Each person often had a different perspective about her, a "monster", a false "Pony", a beautiful "entity", "creature", an ethereal Pony disguise as a "monster" to prevent suitors from falling for her, and so on...
â˘Her father was Frappuccino Milk Swish. Her mother was Astro Luminous Stella.
â˘Shuri used to pretend to be a seductress but quickly dropped it because she didn't feel like pretending anymore, and decides to be that one freaky friend some group chat has.
Anymore questions about her?

65, 78, and 90 for the fanfic asks!
(side note, you've singlehandedly made me a stevepop/steviepop enjoyer. I love the way you write dialogue!)
â65. what is your favourite title for a fic you've written?â
Honestly, none of them really feel like mine per se- with titles I tend to get reeeeeeeal derivative lol.
I was proud of No Class, because that had a double meaning (the fic is about Soda dropping out, w/ âNo Classâ being both literal since he was leaving school, and also a bit of commentary on how society will view him as a high school dropout).
Uh Goinâ To Dallas was kinda cool, I like that one although I canât say why without spoiling the whole fic.
Lookinâ For the Heart of Saturday Night is one that I canât take credit for, as itâs the title of one of my favorite Tom Waits songs, but ough I love it. It feels so evocative. It sums up this very specific feeling I get from driving at night, looking for something to do or feel, a feeling I was trying to capture in the fic. So yeah, I really like that one, but itâs not exactly miiiine, yk? Idk the same could be said for most of my fic titles. Thereâs a good amount of exceptions, but a lot of them are just lines from songs I like/feel are related to the subject matter of the fic.
Come to think of it, maybe I oughta make a âCasper fic playlistâ atp lol (Iâve made it now, itâs here lol. just in case anyoneâs curious about what goes through my head when I scroll through my stuff ig)
â78. how do you choose where to end a chapter?â
I guess when it feels right. When thereâs a good amount of words, and I feel like itâs a satisfying read. LikeâŚwhen I can read it and am left feeling like Iâve said what I need to say for that segment.
â90. do you notice your own voice in your writing style?â
Only upon rereading a few months later. But folks have said that I write pretty much exactly how I talk, so take that as ya will?
#rambling#ask#ask game#also thanks so much! dialogue is my favorite thing to write by far lol Iâm glad itâs as entertaining to read as it is to write :))

Puss in Boots: The Last Wish and yes I'm late, so sue me
I wasn't going to watch any of the PiB movies but I heard 'Death' was a character, so
First two minutes: It's GORGEOUS and here's an entire post of me freaking out over the visual mastery of this film
If I'd seen this in theatres today I'd get kicked out for gasping so much
I can't even
The animation style is so beautiful I'm gasping out loud and had to stop three minutes in to begin this post, it's wild. The particles - !
LOOK AT THE TEXTURE OF THE LEATHER HAT. THE ANIMATORS ARE FLEXING AND THEY ARE FLEXING HARD.
Every single frame of this film is a goddamn work of art. Look at the stars on the wooden ceiling. Look at the lighting.
Even the reflection in the glass, holy shit
They need to stop flexing before I have a frickin heart attack here
Also thank you for putting actual blood and not just a reddish cut, actual dripping blood, thank you :)
This is such a love letter to animation and art and I'm here for it
The scene transitions are absolute *chef's kiss*
THEY ACTUALLY *BEEPED* OUT A SWEAR WORD it's a third of the way through and this is my new favorite movie
Each glitter particle glistens in its own moment, I cannot
I feel like a lot of modern movies have some weird fear of putting genuine color into a film. WELL NOT HERE FOLKS. ABSOLUTE PSYCHODELIC COLOR EXPLOSIONS THROUGHOUT.
What the fuck, that escalated quickly
SIR WHAT ARE YOUR QUALIFICATIONS?
THe dog has a potty mouth and every swear word is BEEP'd out and he swore a LOT
I love how all of the characters just rant the fuck off in Spanish when they get mad
I didn't see the other Puss movies but Softpaws?? Was declawed at some point?? That's so mean?? that's literally amputations omg her poor hands
And she left Puss at the altar at the same time that HE left HER at the altar, these assholes deserve each other at this point because absolutely nobody else will put up with either of them on a serious level
except for the dog, who deserves the world. LOOK AT HIM
Kitty wasn't going to wait for a egocentric asshat to put down his ego for her, YOU GO GIRL
somebody put the puppy in a sock and tried to drown him omg
he has the saddest backstory but he's just happy to have his life and his friends, whereas Puss had nine lives and didn't appreciate any of them, okay, I get it now
The dog actually calmed Puss down from a panic attack and you could hear his heartbeat calming and it was really sweet
The framing of this film is fantastic. Also, Death? Actual Death? The thing that Puss wasn't aware he was afraid of or even needed to be afraid of yet was running from his entire life? Such an incredible villain
I can't concentrate on anything else about the movie because everything is just so goddamn pretty.
The movements and the visuals are just a little bit choppy and a little unfinished, making every still look like a painting. It's so stylized and wonderfully so
jesus christ what a visual callback
Okay movie's done and I can talk now
THE CAT LADY i love her <3
I appreciate that Goldilocks finally accepted her family but it's okay to want other things, I think, as long as you're not taking for granted what you currently have. That said, they're definitely going to have to talk it out because stuff like that doesn't just go away with a quip and a new business plan
One that note, the fucking cricket was hilarious. John Mulaney's character was a riot and I appreciate the cricket giving up on him as a bad job.
I was worried about Death's defeat being a bit of a cop-out but it wasn't. Death was angry that Puss was given so many lives and appreciated exactly none of them, thinking himself invincible forever, not understanding consequences because they never really applied to him, so they decided to cheat and take his last one early. But Puss accepted his mortality and began to appreciate his last life properly, so Death let him live it. It was done well.
I don't really like the 'tough girl no trust femme fatale love interest' thing, I think it's tired and overwrought, so Kitty wasn't my favorite, but I liked her anyway. And I liked that she's able to poor-little-meow-meow Puss when he least expects it.
The doctor scene where we went through each of Puss's lives was storyboarded so beautifully, even the title cards were gorgeous
the fight scenes are so pretty
I can't do anything besides gush over how fucking pretty this film was, I'm useless
Anyway watch the film, it's just a masterpiece and the music was fantastic and I loved the whole thing

Just skimmed through your posts about wags and the amount of hate they receive and omfg it is so refreshing to see someone with similar views!! Wag culture is so insane and I am a Harry Styles fan like I thought it couldnât get more toxic than that and holy shit formula one is on another level
Im sorry in advance but I need to describe this in full detail to someone else bc no one irl is a formula one fan like me so I have no one to talk to this aboutđđ but I think itâs so interesting the way stan culture moves and how my tiktok algorithm showed me just how bad it is for the wags
Iâm new to F1 so my tiktok algorithm started with showing me Charles Leclerc to Taylor swift music edits (thought he was really pretty but didnât make me a f1 fan) to Max Verstappen to TS music edits (made me a huge Max fan and why Iâm into formula one now lol) to Max interview clips to drive to survive (watched it âI know itâs dramatized but I love the way itâs filmed) to more tiktoks about max and his childhood and then I started getting really pretty girls on my fyp (now I know itâs Alexandra and Kika but didnât at the time so I would like the videos and move on) but then I became a bigger fan of f1 so I would recognize them and then my tiktok fyp went to edits of the wags which was whatever bc I love pretty girls so I didnât think too much of it but then very quickly my fyp turned dark (very dramatic lmaoo). I started getting hate edits of the wags and at this point I didnât really have too much of an opinion on the wags and I still donât except I do side eye Kelly âi know itâs none of my business and I know bare bones about their relationship but age gaps especially when one met the other when they were a teen always makes me uncomfortable𼴠Anyways so once my tiktok went weird, I started going through the hate comments these people would leave about these women and I feel so bad for the girlfriends. Yes they live incredibly privileged lives but being dissected the way they do on tiktok is absolutely insane. They get hate for literally every single thing they do. I remember there was a video of Charles and Alexandra at a race and she stopped smiling for one second and they were literally calling her two faced and fake for just having a resting face that isnât smiling. There was another of Kelly and they had a video of her not catching the bouquet at a wedding and clipped a video of max laughing so it looked like he had laughed at her and then followed it by a video of Kelly getting annoyed or something and the amount of nasty comments was insane. I think Kelly then said something about it on Instagram and instead of feeling bad for spreading a false video to hate on her, the same page started to make fun of her for trying to say it was edited WHEN IT WAS!?? I still donât get it honestly. I get being jealous of their lifestyle bc wow it must be amazing to be able to travel and experience the world the way they get to but not even when I was at my most parasocial relationship with one direction as a 12 year old, did I ever feel the need to send hate to the people my faves dated. I know stan culture has always been bad but I do wonder what it was like following formula one when tiktok did not exist. Iâm not sure how long youâve been a fan but was it always this toxic towards the wags?? Or is the increase in fans formula one has recently gotten the cause of all this?? This is my first time being a sports fan and I really do love it, itâs exciting watching races and learning all the lore of teams and older racers but I honestly didnât think there was this amount of parasocial attitudes in racing when I was first became a fan like itâs insane
I just reread this and omfg sorry for the essay and probably a shit ton of errors bc Iâm tired as hell rn
Formula 1 is the perfect storm for toxic fans because it is so constant. Racing happens for most of the year and in between the off track drama keeps going. Whereas singers are only visible while touring and not often in between. Drivers are constantly giving content.
Iâm not gonna rehash it because it was so wild but that Kelly video at the wedding was one of a lottt of edits flying around about her at that time and some of them actually had some pretty personal information/rumours so when she comments about the editing videos she wasnât referring to the one from the wedding Iâm pretty sure. There was one particular tiktok account dedicated to collecting screenshots of messages âfrom Kellyâ that apparently were edited, and just spreading rumours about her personal life from years ago.
But yeah itâs insane what these women have to put up with. To a certain extent they do sign up for it, since a lot of them use the platform to build an influencer career so they are inviting the public into their life in a sense but thereâs no excuse for the way people talk about them and harass them itâs unhinged.
And yeah, I do blame the new fan base. Sorry to say but back when it was just old men watching the sport it was not like this. People used to laugh at the antics of James Hunt or talk about the partying but it wasnât likeâŚthis venomous vitriol (obviously men and their hooliganism has its own issues no one likes football fans and theyâre all men but Iâd argue that kind of fan is part of the new wave of fans as well). And part of it is social media because now people can just post hate indiscriminately and with no consequences but itâs the younger demographic by and large using social media.
Parasocials in F1 absolutely seem to be the consequence of increased media presence (drive to survive, more promotion of races/race weekends as âpartyingâ events, more races in cities/tourist locations). Thank you Liberty Media (RIP Moto GP). And personally I think itâs making the sport a bit ridiculous but itâs bringing in money. Parasocials are the people who buy merch and go to the f1 arcade and pretty much keep the cafes on Casino square solvent soâŚyeah. Good for the investors. Good for the teams.
And even good for the wags in a way like I donât doubt that despite the hate theyâve all materially profited from the attention.
Itâs just sad that people have to act like that. Like are they raised in a barn? Did no one teach them to mind their own business? Is the jealousy so real that they canât help themselves? Idk how posting about how much you hate Alexandraâs body makes you feel cuter or better about the fact that Charles Leclerc wonât date you. I canât relate.
Donât worry about the essay youâre welcome to come and rant every time we love that here đ

Araki knows how to write female characters? I barely see him and Oda in mentions of their female characters in manga discourses when it comes to good female characters.
Hi anon, haha sorry for my lack of energy.
Warning: Long text SA mentions, little spoilers from Jojolion.
Uh that's a good one, honestly both Oda and Araki fall into the same issue about it but when they cook, they cook (or at least is what I have noticed from Oda, since I'm in 305 chapter of One Piece, so I can't tell you how much he fails or gets better).
Let's start with Araki, In general, there are never mentions of Jojo in the tops or compilations of good aspects of some Mangas, better protagonists, best character designs, etc. Because still people refuse to see Jojos in any serious way (okay, Jojo isn't 100% serious, it's bizarre) and others refuse to watch it because of its art style.
That said, Araki fails miserably with female character during part 1-4.
He fails but not in the bad way like only uses their female characters for fanservice, but as useless or from background or encourage male protagonists.
Erina and Lisa Lisa are maybe the exceptions, but again fails, Araki was clear that Erina was Jonathan's love interest and at the same time played with the dynamics, giving Speedwagon the role that in theory should have been Erina since that role was given to the women who were the girlfriends of the protagonist, he already did Gorgeous Irene as a protagonist and fighter, why didn't he gave Erina more role if he wanted to change the roles in his story? Because he wasn't that great at times, same with Lisa Lisa, looks like an attempt to have a strong character with more than a role than just a lover, but fails miserably at the end, giving Joseph all the attention instead of a fight between both Lisa Lisa and Joseph vs Kars, sucks because he gave more of that chance towards a N@zi đ. I'm not even going to elaborate on part 3 bc it's too obvious.
Part 4, even tho has more female characters, none of them has relevance. Yukako was totally wasted, like her only role was to be a simp for Koichi, she didn't help at all. Reimi just was like a storyteller to give context towards the protagonists rather than useful character, of course even her own trauma is just there, same with Tomoko and Shinobu. Basically all pawns to fulfill or help the male characters.
Now, being a little fair, Araki fucked off the same with male characters, specially in part 4 and 5, but come on, even the Hazamada guy had more screen time than Tomoko and Araki just left her there to be completely in love with Joseph and for what? đ That sucks and it's sad.
In part 7 and 8, we actually have more good side characters, but again most of them wasted, literally Jojolion has more female characters than in stone ocean and yet Yasuho is the only one with importance.
Now the fanservice, what can I say? At this point is impossible to escape from it, only Metal alchemist and Attack on titan didn't and is oh so wonderfulđĽ°, also Araki didn't with Jolyne so I'll take that as an apology from what he did to other female characters, lol.
And finally with that issues about SA scenes and mentions, the thing is that with Lucy, Trish or Dragona (probably they aren't a she, tho but let's count them.) seems more like a thing that happens a lot due to the context, specially with Lucy. Like real life issues that Araki has show up with other characters.
My problem is with Yasuho, like okay, she is vulnerable as every other woman, but some of the contexts she wents through are more implied in a funny context and it's something I dislike a lot, like that time Joshu almost rapes her, the touches that Tsurugi gives to her are so icky (I know he is a kid, but that doesn't make it any less creepy, Emporio was also a kid and didn't do that weird shit to Jolyne).
That's my only complain, uh I can see why ppl gets annoyed or disgusted with Lucy or Dragona SA situations and I understand it, but also saying that they have to gain some kind of lesson or something good from it is pathetic as if SA situations are only for that when in real life you only get trauma, not some kind of development. Perhaps, if there should be a Pov about their feelings and fears, how is going through SA and how affects the characters and their mechanisms to protect themselves, but okay I can ask for much in a Shonen manga when fights and powers are more relevant ig:/
As I said when Araki wants, he can cook a good female character like Jolyne, Lucy, Yasuho, Kaato, Trish and Mitsuba. This doesn't mean that other minors female characters are bad, just wasted. The only I mentioned some of them doesn't have great impact but with the role they get they make it work.
Now with Oda, his issue is about the way he draws female character, lots of fanservice and the anime doesn't help. At least Araki gives more different looks on his characters, Oda doesn't, lol. Must of them have the same face as Nami, and again due to the fanservice and how long One piece is, ppl don't take it seriously, another issue is that even though there's incredible powerful females, they're never enough as good as the males, even the only female character that was better than Zoro died đ. Now that I think about it, Araki hasn't give this powerful stands to his female characters, not as powerful as GER or C-moon type.
Returning with the one piece, as far as I can see Oda actually writes good female characters! Nami and Robin are simply incredible, and as far as I know big mom is also a wonderful and good well character.
For me, Nami and Jolyne are one of the most stronger female characters in the Manga and media, next to Maki from Jujutsu no kaisen and Korra from avatar.

================================
Some final thoughts. The animation is stunning. As an animator myself I found myself admiring the beauty of the rendering very often. So the movie did this fantastically well.
But the script overall is lacking. Watermelon is a fun joke. Flea bag is a funny new nickname. But none of their interactions sound endearing or even natural. The delivery was so flat.
I understand that there are troubles in condensing a five season show into a movie. But similar to how they adapted the lightning thief into a movie, my thoughts are the same: if you're not going to do it justice don't do it at all.
There are many bits of the movie that I love, thematically, aesthetically; tHE KOREAN MOVE that playfulness was the only thing that made me feel they had chemistry. I liked their initial meeting, stumbling into each other; but every interaction after that made ladybug- marinette (oops spoilers jk) feel like a wishy washy character who can't decide between being annoyed or insecure. And even the annoyance is just so terribly expressed, its hard to tell what's genuine and what's playful. Every eye roll is accompanied with a smirk or a smile, so it feels like she doesn't mean what she says when she tells him to stop.
Also, when chat noir first falls in love with ladybug.... It doesn't feel that impactful. Like that scene of being in awe.. What are you in awe of? Vs the show scene where he witnesses her be impossibly brave, purifying like a billion butterflies at once and then essentially declaring war on hawkmoth and pledging herself to be the hero of Paris... Like that's awe inspiring. Speaking of, what happened to the gargoyle unpurified ladybug??
I've waited so many years for this movie and the aesthetics are stunning but. The delivery is just.. The script.. Aiii. And also Fu is portrayed as this more ominious crazy old man when he's supposed to be a kind old man! Though I do like that plagg and tikki are the ones who pick their holders.
Anyways. If you're reading my live notes from the movie just know that its in chronological order. Feel free to guess exactly which moment is referring to which part of the movie.

New World, New Rules: Three Sixes Speak Out Three Sixes is ready to shake up the music scene with their upcoming album, "Call Me The Devil," set to drop on January 29, 2025. But before then their latest single, which is titled"Welcome to the New World Order," promises a raw, unfiltered exploration of our complex modern landscape, blending hard-hitting industrial sounds with symphonic metal's dramatic intensity. The band has always been known for pushing boundaries, and this album is no exception. By collaborating across different musical styles and geographic locations, Damien, Blake, and Kill have created a record that's as provocative as it is powerful. Their approach goes beyond musicâthey're crafting a statement about global politics, personal struggle, and societal transformation. "Welcome to the New World Order" stands as a visceral commentary on our current moment. The track weaves personal reflection with broader social critique, challenging listeners to look beyond surface-level narratives. With Three Sixes, music isn't just soundâit's a conversation, a challenge, and a mirror reflecting our most uncomfortable truths. Watch âWelcome To The New World Orderâ https://youtu.be/4ne6_qSD6EQ Follow Three Sixes on Facebook Spotify Youtube Instagram  âCongratulations on "Welcome to the New World Order"! What inspired this song's concept and message? Damien: Thank you. Musically, the foundation was made by Kill and Blake. We were all on the same page as far as a vision went. After they did their parts, they sent it to me. I loved it on the first listen. Once I confirmed the arrangement with them, the chorus just immediately jumped out at me. After we agreed on that, the rest of the lyrics almost wrote themselves. The message came from what has been happening globally and building up for decades up to now. I felt it could be the voice and opinions of not just us as a band, but anyone else who has been following whatâs going on, and listens to it today. How does this single fit into your artistic journey and musical evolution? Blake: I think this song in particular brings a musical intensity that sets the tone for the attitude of the album. Itâs a bit faster than anything the band has previously released, and that parallels the increased chaos weâre seeing around the world, as well as the intense feelings we personally have regarding current events. This album was also a chance for me to contribute to the writing process, which given my musical influences, brings a different dynamic to the songs than whatâs been previously released. Damien: It fits perfectly into what Three Sixes has evolved into. This record is another step forward as far as growth goes. I say this because we have generally never really touched on politics or social issues. Subject wise, I was focused in other places. So as this record was being written, all of us had been affected by the terrible economy and we as taxpayers- being treated like shit. Itâs an honest view of what the world is seeing right now and itâs not good. Can you elaborate on the themes and symbolism in "Welcome to the New World Order"? Damien: Whatâs crazy is the guy that did our video is someone who none of us ever met. I found him on Fiverr. He literally lives on the opposite side of the planet from us. The only communication I had with him was online providing the lyrics, audio and logos. He took it from there. As far as the symbolism goes, I think the guy in the suit and skull wears several different faces; being those of death, surveillance and President Biden. I thought the factories with the discharge were good too, touching on the global environmental distress. I also thought the protests shown accurately depict what is happening now across the world, especially in American colleges. The overall theme is real-time, unchecked chaos. I think the symbolism was nailed. Blake: Weâll see how global policies evolve moving forward, but in the last decade especially, weâve seen insane regulations and restrictions placed on citizens around the world.
From COVID lockdowns to social media censorship to dystopian policies pushed forward by power-tripped bureaucrats, there are a lot of areas you can point to that have been contaminated by those who devalue freedom.  There are millions of people around the world, including us, who are tired of being conditioned to comply with tyrants.  https://music.youtube.com/watch?v=bcIiNK9zFNA&si=LDr2EFo4pxOIcVQC  What personal experiences or observations fueled the lyrics? Damien: Before I had the music for âReject Controlâ, BLM riots were going on across the country. Although I live in Southern California, violent crime and home invasions were still going down near me at that time, just a few miles away. I was warned by several friends that it could be coming and to prepare accordingly. I did. Luckily nothing happened, but it spawned the lyrics for âReject Controlâ. Most notably, the first four lines which set the tone for the rest of the song. âCall Me The Devilâ was actually a sarcastic song simply to upset PC people because âI Fuck The Deadâ (I.F.T.D) didnât offend people anymore. So I started the tune with the first verse and chorus. Kill and Blake loved it. My only goal was to set snowflakes off on both sides of the aisle because as an Independent, I can do as much. When the guys wanted me to write more, I did. Only to realize I wrote a song about myself, haha! I thought and still think that was pretty funny. They loved this song so much that they wanted it to be the title tune for the record. My ideas were different, but I agreed and Iâm glad I did. While I did my best to make it vague and open to interpretation, âAnticipating Deathâ was written about someone I knew who took their own life. In retrospect, that person was declaring through their own, blatant actions what they were going to do in front of anyone within eyesight and nobody saw it coming until it happened. At that point, it all made sense. I could go further with other tunes if you want, but thereâs a few of them. Blake: To build off Damien, we liked the idea of âCall Me The Devilâ for the album title because that theme permeates across the album. Thereâs heavy messaging in several of the songs that will likely upset some people, but even outside of our album, thereâs the whole cancel culture epidemic. Thereâs an entire demographic of people who spend their time getting upset at other people for their views, from the left and the right, and people are demonized for whatever view they have. The album title goes out as a middle finger to anyone, at any level of power, who canât just have a conversation, but has to resort to name-calling and putting people down. Can you walk us through your songwriting process? Damien: This time around, it was different than others. Kill lives in Florida. Blake and I live about 20 minutes apart in California. Johnny (R.I.P.) lived about an hour from Blake and me in LA. With the exceptions of a few (Call Me The Devil, They and Anti-theist) the rest of the tunes started with Kill writing the riffs and arranging the songs. Heâd email them to Blake. Those two would decide what they thought was best and would send them to me. I agreed with all of it. We found a formula and a great groove together. Outside the initial version of âTheyâ all of us agreed on the song structures. Once that happened, I knew where the lyrics were gonna go and wrote them. The entire process was literally a total team effort. I think it shows. https://open.spotify.com/artist/7slJ2Wt7ni1AGHIgmgOMHw Are you exploring new genres or sounds? Blake: I take influence from many different areas, and for this album I drew a lot of inspiration from Fear Factory, Strapping Young Lad, SepticFlesh, Psycroptic, Machine Head, and many others, not just in terms of musical attitude, but production and mixing. These bands have symphonic and hybrid elements that elevate their music to a whole different level of experience, and I wanted to incorporate that into our sound and build off the previous Three Sixes albums.
Kill: Iâm always pulling from different styles of music, personally. Sonically, I wish I had more patience to work with different effects and modulation. When it comes down to it, nothing beats simplicity. Damien: Always. Itâs a never ending journey and nothing is ever out of bounds. Itâs arguably my favorite part about what we do. Will "Welcome to the New World Order" be part of an upcoming album? Damien: Yes. It will be the second of 12 songs from our new record âCall Me The Devilâ, to be released on Freethinkers Day, January 29th, 2025. What's next creatively for Three Sixes? Damien: We put everything we had from the last 10 years into this record. Shots were fired and the chamber is cleared, so nothing new in the works at the moment. How do you engage with fans and build community? Damien: We have an emailing list that we use to stay in touch, which we encourage people to sign up for, as well as social media and just going out to see other bands play. Blake: The most effective way to build a community, in my experience, is person-to-person. Social media posts are great for reaching a large audience, but itâs typically a shallow following built in a very noisy environment, so having personal interaction or direct messaging tends to build stronger connections. Kill: Social media can be useful or a dumpster fire, either at any given time. It can be tedious to constantly engage, but outside of touring and making that impact with new fans, itâs the best way to develop and nurture those connections. What message would you like to share with global listeners? Damien: While we apologize for the long delay in between records, I can promise that it will be worth the wait. Iâd also like to say that we brought âThe album experienceâ back. So my suggestion to anyone who listens to our latest âCall Me The Devil record all the way through for the first time is this- put on a pair of headphones, hit âplayâ and donate 45 minutes of uninterrupted time for a listen. You wonât be disappointed. Blake: Put this album in your workout playlist, lol. Kill: First off, thank you for checking us out. We always welcome feedback and conversation regarding our music, or even bands you think we should know about!

So, I chose a random window to focus on so I wouldn't look around a lot at people (I basically hosted a dating show in my head except it was a befriending show), didn't really think about it for many some months or days or barely did, somehow got interested again, and uhm, not sure how it happened, but months later, this person and I, watch each other, and they've shown signs of liking me back, and I personally love them, and also, they act similar to me, seem to have "the same species of brain", move like me (plus mirror me), and I had a character years before I saw them, who they act and move exactly like (and yes that means the character is similar to me). They've even shown signs of preferring me over their co-workers, even though they can smile at their co-workers, but always looks at me like THIS: đ.
Also I once put a pride flag at my window and they still kept treating me the same and didn't look at me weirdly.
We haven't met, but I hope we do, and even though we don't have much time together, I enjoy being an overly intense friendship creep with them, but anyways, that was the context, and I wanna get interpreted the motifs that often occur in relation to our seemingly-destined friendship:
- Offices and office stuff and work/working (they're an office worker, I've always liked office stuff and how it looks even though I don't know crap so this one's obvious),
- The number 2 (I mean, I do often think about us so yeah), the number 3 (maybe), the number 1,
- Crows (always just 1 crow at a time but I keep about multiple or about us, or mis-remembering it as multiple crows or even misreading "crow" as "office")
- Birds (sometimes 1, sometimes multiple)
- The sky
- Windows (that's how we can see each other, duh)
- Dogs (typically brown - that one's because my fursona is a dog and stuff, and I have a dog doll who my subconscious registers as me for some reason, and stuff)
- Nepo babies (I just call myself their nepo baby for fun, so that's why)
- Songs and dancing (I just often listen to music and I do dance)
- Clothes (I enjoy wearing clothes though, and they seem to do too - we're both oddly specific about what we wear and I love their style and judge their outfits, meanwhile, they only see mine if we "match" or if I'm weather-inappropriate, or not even then)
- Our dynamic, with them as the adult and me as some kid or something (well that's because that's LITERALLY our dynamic - I'm the more openly emotional and childish one who can't keep myself too put together and whatnot, and they're the office worker who ISN'T as often a nervous wreck - their window is also higher than mine, which basically further reinforces that dynamic, and 30 year olds see me as a kid due to how young I am in comparison, but none of this has any negative effect on our friendship ... well, besides what people might say if we met and exchanged phone numbers) ...
- The color blue (they wear that a lot and it's the favorite color of the character they're like, and presumably also themself)
- The color white
- White feathers (one at a time only - at least seen once)
- The cherry tree outside that keeps being in my view when I see them
- Rain/water in general
And then that's all, I guess. Please send interpretations. This is more than I normally would ever write about them on Tumblr, but this is important enough. And yes, I'm sure everything is platonic.
Anyways, also, not sure how much I've impacted THEM, but they've significantly impacted me - like, making it easier to choose clothes in the morning, making me accept myself more, giving me motivation to do stuff and even to exist, and they didn't even DO anything, and even when that's not happening, they make me feel like EVERYTHING IN THE WHOLE WORLD, will be okay, if we just met and became friends forever and stuff.
There's also this one maybe-common smell, that I associate with them - like, this perfume or whatever, and I even have phantom smells/smell hallucinations of it (not OFTEN), but someone some months ago, began using that perfume or whatever, every day, so that kinda fecking bothers me -
Anyways, hopefully this is enough context and stuff. Also, is it obvious that I'm weirdly intense and weird, with friendship?

sixten copy pastes some rambly discord messages into a review and calls it a day: An InFamous 2 Review
(Copy/pasted from my backloggd)
i like how WEIRD the movement is, there's not really any other games where the character moves like the InFamous games, except Ghost of Tsushima, which is made by the same studio and also directed by Nate Fox. It's kinda hard to explain but it's like right in between uncharted and a PS2 platformer, with a bunch of special interactions with grind rails, power lines and such. The game feels weird at first, but when you get into the swing of it it feels REALLY good to play, especially the movement. I can run around for hours in the InFamous games and never get bored, the balance of flow vs careful pathfinding is immaculate. I like the electricity, both looks-wise and how you're constantly aware of and interacting with electrical currents in the world
there are few games that are so mechanically fixated on the way you perceive and navigate your environment while also being focused on being empowering and free flowing
i also really like New Orleans as a setting, i like the misty swamps and the faux french architecture, i like the way hints of jazz sneak into the soundtrack in subtle and unexpected ways
infamous 1 and 2 are probably the most deserving of a HD rerelease out of literally any games because they run like dogshit and it brings the experience down SO much, especially when you're not a kid with patience for bad framerates
what else⌠I just love that Cole (the guy you play as) is this parkour dude with big pants and a funny courier bag, he loves urban exploration and he's like a gruff bald late 2000s game protagonist but he has a few moments where he softens in a way that feels human and believable. I love that his best friend, Zeke, is this kind of sleazy but truly loyal and kind southerner who clearly doesn't have his shit together but isn't portrayed with any kind of disgust or malice. Any other game would have that character just be a GTA-style piece of shit that you're supposed to just kind of dislike but feel empowered by what a piece of shit he is, but here he's portrayed with empathy and nuance
also while i don't particularly love comic books the game bleeds love for them, and it's just nice when things are so earnest. I can see what they were going for and i truly appreciate it
the good/evil system, while kind of binary and oversimplified, still has a fun dichotomy of carelessly explosive or carefully precise. Both playstyles are cool and valid, even if the moral choices themselves are generally complete no-brainers. But that's kind of the point: the more evil shit Cole does, the less he has to care. What's motivating him truly is personal greed, which aligns with the players motivations if they're drawn to that explosive playstyle. Moral choices in most games come down to investment in the story, but InFamous primarily treats it as investment in mechanics, with story beats reflecting the implications
for all the jank, strangely balanced combat encounters, annoying enemies shooting you as you're trying to get from A to B, terrible framerate, and often sort of forgettable and limp story, I can't help but give this game the highest score. None of those issues manage to get in the way of the impact this game has had on me, and all the fun I've had just running around in it. Every moment of jankiness, be it gameplay or narrative, is met by not only moments where it works really well but also shows some truly interesting, unique and clearly well thought-out artistic choices.

Hello! It's the 31st soon!! I'm so excited!
Main four +Butters with 1 year older, tall, rich, outgoing male reader.
How about a vacation for all of them? ^^ The male reader buys the most relaxing and expensive vacation in Oslo (According to google T-T) He lets them do whatever because he bought everything to enjoy. He lets to walk and look around the city and even check other countries too cause they are traveling! And let's not forget that he doesn't forget anyone and doesn't let them be left out and shows a lot of attention and love to them too.
Here's his style for vacation:

Team Stan + Butters going on a vacation with their s/ođ§łđď¸đşď¸đžđď¸
Happy Halloween day!!!đđđđ§ł
Warnings: None
Gender: Neutral
â¤ď¸đ§Ą The Main Four + Butters đđđ
They're absolutely dumbfounded on how you can afford to buy multiple tickets to take them all on a vacation! I guess they forgot you're super rich lmao-
Cartman and Butters would be the first ones to walk and look around the place before you and the others come to join them.
You're just resting in the motel (Does Oslo have motels?) With Kyle, Stan, and Kenny cuddling up against you.
Before you could get up, Stan leaned on top of you to give you a peck on the lips.
"Sorry! I couldn't resist kissing you Y/n!" Kyle and Kenny pouted before gently pushing Stan out of the way and giving you a kiss on the lips too.
Your face was literally red like a cherry. Cuteness overload for the millionth time.
"Oh my god, we killed Y/n!"
"We're bastards!" All 3 of them giggled before carrying you at the same time to catch up with Cartman and Butters.
You guys travel around the whole place and other countries.
You mostly took pictures of everything you saw that was very fascinating, you even took pictures of your boyfriends as well! You all always have a great time no matter where you guys all went!
And whenever you guys went to get something to eat, you always pay for everything.
"Ah! Y/n! you don't need to pay for everything! we can do it ourselves as well"
"But I am happy to! even though I was the one who booked this whole vacation for you guys <3"
They do worry about you spending your money too much on them, except for Cartman because he's just enjoying his time here that he doesn't have the energy to bring up about you spending money.
Whenever it's time for bed and you took them to a motel or wherever you guys want to sleep at.
They're literally going to immediately tackle you onto the floor or bed and shower you in affection.
Ahhhh! Your poor heart can't handle this much cuteness!â¤ď¸â¤ď¸â¤ď¸â¤ď¸â¤ď¸
They all cuddled up to and whispered it all at the same time.
"Oyasumi Y/n" đđđ§Ąđâ¤ď¸
HALLOWEEN IS HERE!!!!!! I AM GOING TO GET A LOT OF CANDY THIS TIME!!! IM EXCITED đđđđđ
