So! funny enough, i used to have another name i thought was so freakin cool... i had it like 13 years ago.... and then a word it that username kept coming up in memes and popular media, so with encouragement from my girlfriend i decided to rebrand.

The name is a silly synonym for an actor, when you really think about it,we do our best to give fake emotion or rather convey emotion for fiction. so synthetic or synth charm fit my job description, and my new Sona design perfectly.

Also my girlfriend likes robots and cyborgs so i particularly leaned into that vibe because i love that woman and it was easier than getting my arm cut off in a horrifying accident to get a real robot one.

I love Teruhashi because she's the perfect pretty girl. She smiles nicely. She's polite. She's never rude. She never embarrasses herself. She eats the bad food because she's nice inside and out and thats why everyone loves her.

I love Teruhashi because she knows she's pretty, but she's not allowed to say it because a really pretty girl never knows she's pretty. Even if they keep telling her again and again and again and again. She doesn't know she's pretty. She's just the same as everyone else really.

I love Teruhashi because she has to be careful who she's nice to or they'll start fights. Everyone loves her and no one can have her because she's just too pretty. It'd be unfair if one person had her and the others didn't.

I love Teruhashi because she really is a horrible person for believing what everyone says about her. Its so wrong of her to be nice to everyone only so they'll keep loving her. Also I don't know if this is controversial but I'm reading tog rn (I'm in hof) and I think that it's a much better series than acotar in terms of writing (both characters and plot) (also I like celaena/aelin far better than feyre (and bryce) I'm sorry 🥲)

i semi agree. tog is a better series in terms of plot but acotar will always be my overall favorite lol while there are many characters in tog that annoy me or that i just don't care for, i like pretty much every single character in acotar and for me characters >>>>> plot

Tonight I'm thinking about her again. I saw her Friday and it was the first I've talked to her in person since April. And I built it up so much in my head that I was so awkward when I saw her.

I literally jumped up and down, she's here!! I said lol. And then when we talked there was I pause in the conversation. I caught myself just starring at her and once I realized I said, I'm sorry 😞. But she's so sweet and said, it's ok!

Also she covered welcome to the black parade and she's always beautiful. But there's something extra special about seeing her on stage. You can just tell she loves it, she's truly herself and it's what she was meant to do.

i feel like not enough ppl are factoring in the cultural clash between laios and shuro and the many micro agressions shuro faced while being in their group. literally the name 'shuro' in itself is one

his name is toshiro 😭 lets also not forget that he has his own communication issues, in the opposite way that laios does- thats literally a factor in their argument, that his envy for laios's ability to express himself sincerely manifested as part of his distaste for him.

ig all this to say like, was their fight heart wrenching, especially when reading laios as autistic? absolutely. anybody whos ever been in laios's position knows how much it hurts to realize someone you thought was your friend doesnt actually like having you around, especially when they didnt tell you and you had no way of knowing due to not understanding their cues. but im begging yall to step back and see the nuance of this situation cause im gonna be real a lot of you are kinda just brushing over it acting like everything is toshiros fault and that hes a terrible person when in reality hes an average guy who really, really clashed with laios and it led to a very long misunderstanding due to their supremely opposite methods of communication. even laios and toshiro, after letting everything out in their fight, were able to come to an understanding and start a foundation for an actual friendship built on better communication

ok yknow what Edit: i shouldve made it even more explicit at the end of this post, i hadnt thought i would need to since i started the post with this, but i think a few too many people are missing my point so i just wanna clarify. i shouldnt have said 'really clashed' and left it at that because yeah they did, but it wasnt just their opposite methods of communication, it is also very much that toshiro was experiencing microaggressions via laios. it may have been unintentional on laios's part, but it still happened and wore him down, made it harder for him to communicate on top of both the more subtle social cues that he was raised with and his own communication difficulties. i also want to say that the fandom reaction to toshiro and the complete ignorance of this point is also racist tbh or at the very least ignorant. i understand that the anime did not cover this panel, and neither did the manga, as this was an omake, but im gonna be real with you guys. there are enough context clues within the story to clue you into this. if you didnt pick up on it thats ok, but i think this is a good lesson in picking up subtext in the stories that youre watching and/or reading. kui shouldnt have to explicitly say 'by the way laios was racist to toshiro' for this point to be understood, and at the very least, when the author portrays a character in a sympathetic light (as kui clearly does) it should make you question Why they are doing so and what makes them sympathetic, rather than youre immediate and only reaction to be 'well i hated what this guy did/said so i hate them and they suck'. idk exactly how to finish this, just. idk. question your biases and gut reactions to things you see in media and stories, and think about whether or not theres subtext that youre missing.
