this is def just because I have rejection sensitive dysphoria but when people write Peter Parker as *enjoying* being bullied / talked down to it is physically painful for me. and it’s like… shockingly common??

Hi!! I saw you reblogged the character ask game so can I ask for both Damian Wayne and Peter Parker? I love those boys and I'm curious 😊
Thank you and take care 💖/p
@zephyrwrites2
Aww you take care too and yes, you certainly can get both :)
Damian Wayne
1. sexuality headcanon:
Demipan
2. Otp:
Damijon💕
3. Brotp:
Damian and Jon
4. Notp:
Any batcest one and the canon ships with Mar'i and Cassandra Cain, plus any ones that have adult characters paired up with him, including the adult ones that were aged down just to be with him too, like Raven, Cassie, and Cassandra
5. First headcanon that pops into mind:
Besides sketchbooks, he also owns an expensive drawing tablet that Bruce got him for one of his birthdays. He makes good use of it, but he still prefers traditional more though since that's what he grew up with, so it's not something he stopped doing after getting an art tablet. He just loves the good feeling of getting out all his pencils, brushes, paints, and having fun expressing himself with them right there on his canvas or in his books. Another reason he perfers it more is because he can actually travel with a sketchbook too and just draw wherever he wants and especially because he also hates it whenever a digital drawing he's working on just suddenly deletes itself because of some error while he was in the middle of drawing it, which upsets him VERY much all the time. Most times when that happens, he just really needs a moment for himself to calm down, plus, process and mourn his erased piece that never got to be saved and truly finished.
6. Favorite line from this character:
"I'm from Earth. I'm ticked off. And I'm looking for a clown." From Adventures of the Supersons #7 (This is one of them that makes me laugh lol)
7. One way in which I relate to this character:
Okay, so remember that one Wayne family adventures chapter where Damian is struggling so much to socialize in school and it's all just so awkward for him? Well, that's me too, because I relate too hard to that lol (there's also the fact that we both love art and draw all the time too)
8. Thing that gives me second hand embarrassment about this character:
Nothing
9. Cinnamon roll or problematic fave?
Problematic fave but one that I love very much💖
Peter Parker
1. Sexuality headcanon:
I usually just see him as straight, but I'm not against any other kind of sexuality for him at all though
2. Otp:
Hmmm, him and MJ are sweet (the Rami version of it is definitely a mess though), but I also really like Peter x Michelle from the mcu and Peter x Gwen from the Amazing Spider-Man movies too hehehe
3. Brotp:
Peter and Ned. I just love how silly and fun they are with eachother lol
4. Notp:
Black cat. She's a villain who loves living the thief life, plus, I just don't believe she's right for Peter since she's more in love with his Spider-man identity and always sees things like a game, which just doesn't work for a real relationship
5. First headcanon that pops into mind:
He got braces in middle school and would always pick orange and yellow for the bands when he got them changed every month
6. Favorite line from this character:
"What's important is not standing by and allowing someone to suffer or die because you do nothing. If you don't get that, then you don't get the first thing about being Spider-man." A line he says in the video game Spider-Man edge of time
7. One way in which I relate to this character:
We care for others a lot and always want the best for them
8. Thing that gives me second hand embarrassment about this character:
Nothing at all
9. Cinnamon roll or problematic fave:
Cinnamon roll frrr💗
Thank you for the asks! I enjoyed answering them!!

Why do I love Spider-Man: Into the Spider-Verse?
Aside from the fact that it's about my favorite superhero of all time? Let me count the ways...
The animation. I already know I'm not blowing any minds here, but good word, the animation is SPECTACULAR! By blending CGI models with hand-drawn elements, this is the only experience in a superhero movie that made me feel like a comic book has been brought to life. You might say that "it's not live-action," but that's beside the point. 90% of most MCU movies are practically animated, aside from the 10% that have actual humans on screen. So you should have no qualms when this beautiful masterpiece of a film manages to make you feel like you're watching a comic in motion, to the point where you could pause any frame of animation and turn it into a comic panel. Sidenote, if they make this movie into a graphic novel, I would absolutely buy it. I don't care if it's pointless when I could just watch the movie. Give me that graphic novel version of this gorgeous film.
The opening logos are unironically jaw-dropping. They flash through the many variations each insignia could have/has gone through, giving you a taste of the insanity of what this movie will bring. It also plays into what happens to the characters, meaning that while the story hasn't started yet, we're still given a heavy dose of foreshadowing.
The CCA stamp doesn't get enough credit. For those who don't know, back in the day, comics had to adhere to the Comics Code Authority's regulations, sticking their CCA stamp onto every cover to ensure parents that what was inside was kid friendly. It got to the point where no one took it seriously anymore, and the stamp became an irrelevant system that almost always failed to point out the age demographic for comics. The fact that Spider-Man: Into the Spider-Verse is rated PG makes the callback even funnier.
The opening narration. It introduces us to this universe's version of Peter Parker, who's basically the every-man in the Spider-Man universe (The every-Spider-Man?). He features the highest highs and lowest lows of Spider-Man, showcasing his history and origins in a way that fans will adore while making something entertaining for the 1% of people who somehow never heard of Spider-Man.
Miles' introduction is close to perfection. Making him an artist already earns some relatability points from yours truly but having him jam out to music while doing it turns him into one of my favorite characters that I see myself in. I can't count the number of times I'm drawing something, and I get lost in the music playing in my headphones. I've known this character for less than a minute, and I already see a lot of myself in him. The fact that he procrastinated getting ready and did it all in a rush is just the cherry on top. And given how I look whiter than the snow on a Christmas day and Miles looks...very much not that, I already feel like the writers are doing something right if I see myself in someone like him. Most writers go the route of making a character's race or ethnicity their only character trait. There are some good intentions in that somewhere, but writers forget that without things like personalities, interests, and desires, the character's race does not matter. They're still going to be boring. Give me more Miles Morales, less of the hollowed shells called human beings that you find on the CW.
The one-take of Miles walking through his neighborhood mirroring/contrasting with his walk through school does well to visually explain the disconnect he feels about being in a new school and an unfamiliar environment.
I love Miles' dad. I'll get more to the emotional stuff later, but Jefferson Davis starts out great as someone strict but still trying hard to connect with Miles. It's genuinely heartwarming to see. Plus, that "I love you, Dad" scene…I mean, come on!
The montage of Miles' first day does well in showcasing the pressure the character is feeling. Maybe I'm still relating so much to Miles, but I felt how hard his day was for him.
The video of Olivia Octavius is some solid foreshadowing of the multiversal madness ahead and even better foreshadowing of who Olivia is, considering that Miles JUST blocks her last name. This scene also introduces us to Gwen while subtly hinting at who she is by Miles briefly saying, "I've never seen you around here before.”
Community is playing on Uncle Aaron's TV...That's it. I watched all of Community last year and grew to appreciate seeing a reference or two about it showing up.
Miles' moment with Uncle Aaron is sweet. It shows how things are easy between them, and Miles can rant about anything to the laid-back person his uncle is, in contrast to the eggshells Miles seems to dance around when dealing with his dad. Plus, Aaron showing off the shoulder touch pays off for two great scenes in the future. Not to mention his "hey" sends this bisexual a little...haywire.
Miles spray painting the wall is touching for two reasons. For one, it proves how much sweeter this universe's Aaron is. In other iterations, he manipulates Miles, searching for ulterior motives, primarily for Aaron's selfish gain. Here, it's clear he genuinely cares about his nephew, wanting to share this moment with Miles and have fun in a way the two should. It's also touching to see Miles express himself. We got a taste of his phenomenal talent near the beginning, but to see him make that masterpiece that he made proves how much of an artist he really is. It really is the best way to make this Miles not only unique but also engaging.
The spray paint getting sprayed on the corner of the screen is also a nice touch. They didn’t have to do it, but they did, and I love it.
The Spider bite. The thing that fundamentally changes Miles' life, and the lives of other Spider-People before him, for now, and forever...and he swats it like it was nothing. That's...incredible.
Miles reacting to his spider bite, however, leads to a collection of great moments that are awkward as they are hilarious.
By the way, have I mentioned that this movie is funny? And not in your face with it like other Marvel movies. I mean that Spider-Man: Into the Spider-Verse is naturally funny, having great jokes that work well within the situation while never stealing away from the moment. I won't go over all the humorous moments, but I'll definitely talk about my favorites.
Like Miles' interaction with Gwen post-spider bite. It's awkward in all the right ways, and his facial expression as he stiffly places his hand on her shoulder cracks me up every time.
The "Who's Morales?" bit is iconic. I told you, this movie is just naturally funny!
Using the Amazing Fantasy comic cover as a reference is great. It's the comic that gave us the best superhero ever made, so it's nice of the animators to throw that in as a callback, honoring the contribution it made to humanity.
By the way, it used to bother me how Peter Parker allowed a comic to detail his backstory, but it just now occurred to me that the Peter Parker in the comic looks vastly different from the one in that universe. That, coupled with the knowledge that he has licensed merch, proves that he allowed this comic as long as the artists made sure his identity remained secret. Just another little detail that makes this movie amazing.
Speaking of small details, I love that Miles has a lot of contacts on his phone. Both his contacts and that one-take in the beginning show that he's a social kid instead of an outcast like Peter, which is nice. It’s for the best that this movie shows that Miles is his own person than a mixed-race Spider-Man
Another fact is that his comic creators are in there too. That's a cute thing to include.
The visual explanation for Miles' spider sense is remarkable. I always get chills with the words "LOOK OUT," illustrating that it's silently screaming in his brain. Gah, such a good scene! Can you marry a scene? Because I want to marry this scene. It's easily my favorite in anything Spider-Man-related.
Peter's fight with Green Goblin is INSANE! Admittingly, when I first watched this movie, it was a little hard to tell what was going on due to so much happening all at once. But, after seeing it for the fiftieth time, I can certainly say that I appreciate how off-the-wall Spider-Man: Into the Spider-Verse gets with its action, especially with this first fight scene. It's only a taste of what's to come, and I'm glad the film slowly eases you into the more insane scenes by prepping you with a moment like this.
Peter Parker’s introduction to Miles is perfect. The writers do everything right, starting with Peter breaking the ice with a joke, attempting to cool Miles off from his first near-death experience, only to get serious once Peter realizes what Miles is exactly. And I adore how Peter calmly approaches the situation, reassuring Miles that while things will change whether he likes it or not, Peter will be there to help him. Peter doesn't even hesitate when he volunteers to mentor Miles. You get the sense that Peter's excited about it, and, gosh dang it, these writers really did a great job in making him the Every-Spider-Man.
Miles recording Peter's fight with Prowler...Because of f**king course, he does. Wouldn't you?
Kingpin's the villain! This is cool because, while he's mostly remembered as a Daredevil villain nowadays, it's great that this movie recognizes that he started off as a member of Spider-Man's rouge's gallery. And, sure, he lacks the depth that Vincent D'Onofrio had in Daredevil. But he's still pretty threatening and even terrifying, being the character that allows this movie to earn its PG rating.
Plus, his motivation is...good enough. It's not the best thing in the world, but it works just enough to be believable for this character, all while explaining why he's working hard to, you know, break the universe. So, yeah, a solid villain for one of the best superhero movies of all time.
The fact that it's Peter Parker that technically caused the other Spider-People to show up is amazing to me. It proves that without meaning to, he still manages to find a way to save the day. Even if that means pulling other Spider-People from their dimensions...which is ultimately killing them. Yeah, isn't that just classic Peter Parker bad luck for ya?
Also, heh, you can see Peter B. Parker and the others fly away from the explosion. That's funny.
Peter's last words to Miles...Wow. It's one of those moments you know that he knows that he's not going to make it out this time. So, in his last moments, Peter offers as much advice as he can to Miles, telling him what needs to be done and how to do it. What I love most is the fact that he still cracks jokes and still gives Miles the false hope that he'll "catch up," showing that, above all else, Peter cares about making people feel safe and secure. Again, he really is the Every-Spider-Man...Or was, at least.
Peter's eye-roll at Prowler. Even at death, he's still making us laugh.
Miles is a coward...It feels weird to say that's something I love about this film, but it's true. Miles starting off as someone who runs and hides instead of trying to help Peter Parker does the job to make it even more satisfying when Miles eventually does find courage and confidence in being a Spider-Man.
Also, his guilt seems more reasonable here than it does in the comics. Miles' guilt in the comics stems from not being there to help Ultimate Peter Parker, even though there's not really anything Miles could have done to help, and Peter was already as good as dead before Miles knew he could help. Here, while it's a lot more likely Miles could die, I do understand his guilt as he's right there and able to do something rather than nothing. So not only does Miles' cowardice set up a great character arc, but it also does its job in making him feel better guilt than his comic counterpart. So, nice job all around.
This version of The Prowler is amazing. His motif, his outfit, his silent badassery. It’s just so perfect.
Miles runs home to his family and not to the school...because his family is where he feels the safest. That just hit me--GAH, THIS MOVIE'S GREAT!
Miles' mom is so sweet. She's mostly remembered for one line, reassuring Miles that their family doesn't run away from things, but that one line proves to you all what you need to know: She's there to tell Miles what he needs to hear, even though she doesn't entirely know how much he needed to hear it. Such a great mom.
New York's reaction to Spider-Man's death. You feel it in everybody, literally everybody. Just the number of people showing up to his funeral proves how much he earned the title of "Friendly Neighborhood Spider-Man."
Best. Stan Lee cameo. Ever. This movie came out a month after Stan Lee passed away, and I feel like Spider-Man: Into the Spider-Verse did the best job of honoring him. Spider-Man really is Stan's greatest co-creation (with help from Steve Ditko, of course), and the best Spider-Man movie being one of the last he made an appearance in really hits hard. RIP, Stan. Thank you and Steve Ditko for the hero that is loved by all.
It's also neat that Spider-Man: Into the Spider-Verse has a better reason why Miles is wearing a Halloween costume when dressing up as Spider-Man. It was done in the comics to make him easily hide his identity, but it's also in poor taste, to the point where even the characters in the comics point out how it's poor taste. Here, Miles buys the costume in tribute to Spider-Man when going to Peter Parker's funeral, like a lot of people have done. And, well, he already has it, so he might as well continue to use it. Man, this movie really is trying to make Miles' origin story better than it was in the comics, huh?
This movie manages to do the "Jump/Pussy" scene from Venom, and not only is it funnier, but it's also done better. At first, you're laughing at Miles giving up despite the music epically building up about how he's about to jump. But then, after he gives up the first time, he tries again, using a smaller building because he thinks it'll be easier. This movie took a funny scene, then twisted it to visually tell us how determined Miles is to do the right thing! You see, Venom? This is how you actually make a good movie!
Peter B. Parker's narration does a great job of underlining the contrast between him and Peter Parker (also, for consistency, I'll be calling him Peter B. for the rest of the review. It's simpler). While Peter's narration reveals to us his success and zeal for the life he has, Peter B.'s is all about his failures and how much he's given up on life. Already, it's a quick and easy way of proving how different both Peters are, and I don't mind it. Primarily because each narration works well for the film's main running joke and because Peter B.'s is the funniest because what he says clashing with what is shown. I still laugh at that hard cut of him crying in the shower, as mean as that sounds.
The seahorse bit. I mean, come on. The fact that he gets choked up about seahorses mating for life always gets to me.
While Peter B. is getting sucked into the portal, knowing there's no stopping it, his first priority is to get his mask. That tells me that despite how far life beat him with the bad luck stick, he still knows the number one rule of being Spider-Man: Always bring your mask.
Also, he tries to save the pizza...which makes me chuckle. I won't lie.
Peter B. and Miles getting pulled/dragged through the city is the best type of chaos. It's great knowing that while the animation is perfect for some epic fight scenes, it also has some impeccable slapstick.
Peter B. is the Spider-Man that rejects the code: With great power comes great responsibility. That part of Peter B. always intrigues me, and it makes sense. He was beaten down because of great responsibility, so even though it was the last words of his Uncle Ben, he'd rather live without them. Yet that doesn't mean he's done with being a good person. He's tired and burnt out, sure. But he still helps Miles once realizing that he can't just walk away from someone that needs him. It presents an interesting dynamic, for while Peter B. has to teach Miles how to be Spider-Man, Miles is there to help Peter B. remember how to be Spider-Man. Not a lot of people bring that up, and it's what I admire about their relationship.
I don't know about you all, but the diner scene always makes me want burgers and fries, without fail. It just makes the food look so good! Too bad it comes from a restaurant with a C-grade health code...Oh, so that's why it closed down six years ago in Peter B.'s universe.
Aside from their narrations, Peter B.'s advice also clashes with Peter's. Peter B. always offers more practical stuff, telling Miles what to do so he won't lose his mind while being Spider-Man. It works with Peter B.'s character and, once again, proves how he couldn't be further different from Peter Parker. With that said, Peter B. still offers great advice from time to time. Granted, it's when things are actually serious and during danger, but, hey, at least he tries.
Peter B. and Miles thinking is perfect and earned being a meme.
Peter B. coming up with the plan. It proves that he's both intuitive for coming up with it so quickly and simple-minded in thinking it would be that easy. Plus, Miles' interjections offer great humor.
Peter B. saying teenagers are the worst always gets a chuckle out of me because of the fact that Spider-Man is the superhero widely remembered for being a teenager.
Olivia Octavius. GOOD! GOLLY! MISS MOLLY, what a twist! Now, there are a few minuscule hints making it more obvious in hindsight, like the octagon decorating surrounding her and what looks like an arm prototype behind Peter B. With that said, however, I WAS SHOCKED IN THEATERS! This kooky lady who, at first, seems ecstatic to see Peter B. turns out to be an alternate version of one of his worst enemies and was actually fascinated by how he got there and how to kill him. Such a good scene that never fails to give me chills!
And the fight that comes after it is equally intense, fun, and epic.
The funniest moment in the movie is the monitor gag. That is all.
BAGEL! By the way, someone actually cosplayed as that scientist who got BAGELED! Not really a fun fact about the movie, but it is a fun fact about life.
Gwen's narration is probably the most beneficial. Nearly everybody knows about Peter Parker, and I think enough people know about Miles, but I'm not sure how well-known Spider-Gwen was before the movie (and, yes, I know she's called Spider-Woman or Ghost Spider. It's just that Spider-Gwen's more fun to say. Leave me alone). People might know of her but not so much about her whole deal and origins. So, it helps that the movie flies by her origins, telling newcomers what they need to know and leaving them to learn the rest from her comics.
Also, Gwen, come on. Miles is the reason you got that dope haircut in the first place. Let him compliment it.
ALSO also, Gwen's a pretty fun character. I have some problems with how she's in the story, but I do love her punk-rock personality and how she's basically the only Spider-Person with a functioning brain cell...Except for that Gwanda bit, but we don't talk about that. Despite some flaws, Gwen's a character with a lot of humor and solid character interactions, especially with Miles.
Gwen and Miles are adorable together. Have I mentioned that? Because it's true. They don't have much time to develop their relationship (that's for future movies to do), but the time they do have is still pretty darn cute.
Kingpin's flashback is beautifully animated while also paying homage to the art style of the comic his design is based on. It's pretty cool that this already brilliantly animated movie still manages to find different ways to look gorgeous.
This movie has the best Aunt May. Don't argue, Raimi nerds! You know it's true! She kicks ass, accepting of Peter's secret, looks old, and has some pretty snappy one-liners. You see this woman and understand how Peter Parker came to be the man he is--Er, was. If you have a problem with this Aunt May, you can take it up with the baseball bat she used to beat Tombstone. Tombstone! How can you hate an old woman who can do that?!
As for May's interaction with Peter B., it's--Say it with me now--perfect. They're both basically meeting ghosts of people they loved, and May and Peter B. interact the same as if it was the version of each other they've always known. There is genuine heartbreak and love in each of their voices, and you feel every bit of it. Even the jokes about Peter B. being fat and wearing sweatpants doesn't spoil the moment but add to it, showing May's distaste over a version of her nephew letting himself go. It's snark, but snark from the love of a woman who's basically his mother. What did you expect?
The Spider-Cave is awesome! Little weird that Peter Parker, a character known for being as poor as dirt in the comics, has this, but then you remember something: The merchandise. This was a Peter who whored himself out with cereal, Christmas albums, and so-so popsicles. Heck, even the Spider-Buggy, also from the comics, was promotional material. This means that Peter Parker made BANK on the stuff he made, so much so that he was able to afford a cave that would make Batman jealous. It might not be one-for-one the exact explanation for how he has it, but the movie offers enough information to make it a reasonable conclusion anyway.
I want a Spider-Noir movie. I don't care if it's animated or not. I want a gosh dang Spider-Noir movie. And it has to be played by Nicholas Cage. It wouldn't be right if it wasn't because he’s the reason that Spider-Noir is the funniest character in the movie.
I love that every single Spider-Person is totally on board with staying behind and leaving their homes forever if it's the only way to get the others back to where they belong. They're definitely Spider-People, alright. Nobel sacrifices like that are all a part of the DNA.
The scene where the others put a lot of pressure on Miles results in complicated feelings. On the one hand, it's not cool for them to do this. On the other, you understand why. This isn't the typical stopping a mugger or fighting a c-lister. This is a fight to save the multiverse with dozens of people who will make the mission all the more dangerous. The pressure they're making Miles feel is close to what they'll be dealing with in the fight with Kingpin, so what they're doing is somewhat validated through the current circumstances. I may not like it, but I do understand it.
And I've got to give Peter B. credit for being both Miles' hype man and telling the other Spider-People to cool it with the pressure. Out of all of them, he understands Miles a little better and wants to keep the poor boy sane. It's pretty sweet.
Jefferson reaching out to Aaron is also pretty dang heartwarming. You can tell there's some definite tension between the two, but they're still brothers. Family loves family, no matter the mistakes (unless your family is reasonably toxic, in which case, you cut them out yesterday). Jefferson reaching out is a testament to that...Even if Aaron might not have deserved it--Yeah, let's get into that.
The reveal of Aaron being the Prowler...Where do I even begin? Fellow comic nerds already knew this was coming, but that doesn't stop this reveal from hurting. The part that gets me is the score. It expertly portrays the amount of fear and betrayal Miles is feeling at this moment, to the point where you don't even need to see what's happening to understand something tragic is going down.
The chase scene that follows is also pretty intense, added with the red sky and the several moments where Miles barely gets away. It's...You know what it is. It's f**king perfect.
Scorpion looks cool. A little weird, sure, but still pretty badass and intimidating.
My favorite fight in the movie might just be the Spider-People battling the...Fearsome Fivesome? Alright, whatever they're called, they're part of a fun and chaotic fight scene, with playing keep away with the Goober being what adds much-needed tension.
Uncle Aaron's death. I love that they let Aaron die a good man, willing to back down so Miles could go free. It's definitive proof that he actually cared for his nephew, to the point where the first thing Aaron felt upon realizing it was Miles was pure fear. Like, "Oh, crap! Not only did I almost kill my brother's son, but this boy is now in some deep s**t! I gotta help him!" And I appreciate that the writers made Aaron a decent human being rather than a diabolical scumbag who wanted to take advantage of Miles or a coward who tried to kill him because he was too scared to fail Kingpin. Even when Aaron's dying, the first thing he does is apologize for letting Miles down, a sentiment that's as sweet as it is tragic. Aaron may not have been a perfect man, but he died wanting to protect Miles, the love for his nephew overshadowing his greed. And I think that redemption is worth everything.
And, MAN, is his death a gut punch! The writers certainly succeeded in giving Miles his Uncle Ben Moment, with Aaron's last words being motivational in telling Miles to "keep going" and how he's the best of them. It's a bittersweet moment, and Miles' dad mistaking Miles to be Aaron's killer doesn't make things any better.
What is sweet, though, is how all the Spider-People are there for Miles, sharing the tragedy they all went through and confirming that the hardest part about being Spider-Man is losing the people you love. And the biggest miracle is that THE CARTOON PIG DOESN'T RUIN THIS MOMENT! Seriously, what does it say about this movie where the character who's practically a Looney Tune manages to keep the emotional weight of the scene going?
Peter B. being tough with Miles...Ouch. It was necessary. Peter B. was doing it as one final test, giving Miles one last chance that he could come through when it matters. The others were even right outside his window, ready and hoping to let Miles join them. But it wasn't meant to be, and it stings to see Miles at this low point. Thankfully, he has someone to pull him out of this funk.
Jefferson's talk with Miles...Told you I'd get to the emotional stuff. But joking aside, this scene...left my eyes a little steamy this time around. Jefferson visually meets Miles halfway and pours his heart out, sharing the feelings Jefferson usually kept guarded except for a moment when it mattered. Sure, Jefferson doesn't know all the facts about the current tragedy he and Miles are going through, but the words he provides give Miles the spark he needs. The spark that Jefferson has always seen in Miles. And the spark that Miles uses to free himself to take that one last step to being Spider-Man. Or, rather, one last leap.
The "What's Up Danger" scene. Do I really need to explain what makes this scene incredible? I know I keep saying the word perfect a lot with this review, but that's really the best way to describe so much of this movie, especially with this moment. The visuals of Miles rising instead of falling and swinging through the city in succession are awe-inspiring. The score mixing in Miles' hero motif with "What's Up Danger," resulting in a moment that's as pleasant on the ears as it is on the eyes. All of it culminates together for a scene that delivers all of the hype, creating a moment where Miles is no longer Miles Morales. He's f**king Spider-Man. And he earned that title.
Also, a small thing, I love that Miles' suit is one of Peter Parker's, but spray-painted black with Miles' interpretation of the Spider-Man logo. It shows Miles stepping into Peter Parker's shoes but doing it in his own style. It's just a great little detail that not a lot of people mention.
Did Kingpin seriously throw a memorial service for the guy he killed? What a filthy, disgusting man...I love him!
The bread scene is hilarious. It involves a pointless character, but I can't help but crack up at how Peter B.'s attempt to find closure with MJ is through him apologizing about not getting her table bread. Peter B. saying, "I want to fill this room up with bread," is just the cherry on top this hilarious sundae.
I really dig Olivia saying, "Goodbye, Peter Parker." You can tell by the way she said it that she wanted to be the one to kill Spider-Man.
Miles coming in to deliver that punch at Doc Ock is a laptop background in the making.
I love how in a situation where the universe is crumbling apart around them, and bad guys are shooting at them all, THAT is the moment when Peter B. realizes that he wants kids. I'm telling you, most of the time, this movie is just naturally funny.
As for the situation they're in, the collider fight is, without a doubt, the most insane final battle in a Spider-Man movie. All the universes merging and tearing the place apart forces the characters to fight as the environment morphs and forms around them, making it a battle where anything could go down. It results in a pretty fun climax, and I love how the colors match the light tone this fight is going for...remember that. It's gonna come back later.
Spider-Ham DESTROYING Scorpion after he dissed cartoons is an exact representation of what the animation community wants to do when someone calls animation kids' stuff or silly. Let it be known that we'd wreck your shop too if we could.
I love how Miles swinging up to the top of the collider incorporates lessons from both Peter Parkers. Obviously, there's the way Miles copied his universe's Peter moves to get up there, but stealing away the Goober by throwing back Peter B.'s "don't watch the mouth, watch the hands" motto adds a little extra that I appreciate.
Miles' goodbye to Peter B. is a culmination of their arcs, where Miles, the student, finally becomes the master, being the one to trip up Peter B. (with the same move he used on Miles, no less) and tells him to get his s**t together and go home. Peter B. taught Miles a lot, letting him see the importance of Spider-Man, the pressure he has to go through, and the faith he must have. And here comes Miles spitting all that back at Peter B., adding more to how they teach each other how to be their better selves. And I relish that!
Remember how I said the colors were bright in the collider, matching the fun of the climax? Well, the second it's just Miles and Kingpin, the colors become darker and more intense, matching the tone of this final battle between good and evil. It makes things way more cinematic and visually pleasing, so kudos...to whoever I give kudos to in this case. There are SO MANY people responsible for animating a single second--Literally, a single second of animation that it's hard to tell who deserves more credit half the time.
As for the fight itself, IT'S AS INTENSE AS THE COLORS IMPLY IT IS! You feel the beating Kingpin gives Miles, but despite how violent it is, there were always these small glimmers of hope that Miles might get the upper hand. That hope gets beaten down by Kingpin's cartoonishly big fist, but there is still hope nonetheless. And it would grow through the most unexpected places.
Is it a little ludicrous that Jefferson is right there to give the most essential words any Spider-Man needs to learn? Oh, absolutely. Without a doubt. But is it still heartwarming that Jefferson still tells Spider-Man to get up despite thinking he killed Aaron, further proofing how Jefferson's always there to tell Miles what he needs to hear when it's important? You'd better gosh dang believe it.
Miles using the shoulder touch on Kingpin is the best. In a way, that lets Miles and Aaron get revenge.
Seeing into the Spider-verse (ha!) is a gorgeous sight to behold, both for the audience and for Miles.
DID THEY HAND DRAW THAT EXPLOSION?! Gosh DANG IT, this movie is insane!
Dang, Jefferson allowing Miles to throw up his art on the wall warms the heart to the fullest it's ever been when watching this movie. He really wants to do better in reaching out to Miles, even if Jefferson still lays down the ground rules for how Miles should express himself.
And Spider-Man hugging Jefferson is equal parts touching and hilarious.
I'm noticing a pattern. My favorite Spider-Man movies are ones where Spidey webs up the big bad for the police to pick up. Instead of, you know...killing them. I loved it in Spider-Man: Homecoming, and I especially adore it here.
The one-take of Miles walking through the streets as Spider-Man mirrors how he did it at the beginning of the movie and contrasts the one-take at his school. It illustrates that he regained his confidence because how could he not after all the s**t he went through. I'd feel pretty big about myself too.
Miles' final narration does well in tying everything together, recapping events, showing how everyone else is doing, and stating the big lesson of the movie. A lesson that Stan Lee himself believed in, as he always thought that what makes Spider-Man amazing is that anyone, anyone at all, could be under that mask. No matter who they are or what they look like, anybody has the potential to represent the ideals of Spider-Man. And while I'm not a fan of movies spelling out their messages to the audience...It's a Spider-Man movie. Narrating to the audience is as essential for the ending as the final swing is, and this one has both! All around, a good ending...with a tease for more.
Though I will admit, it's not every day when I say that a movie's credits are as visually pleasing as the rest of the film.
And while Stan Lee's cameo is a great final tribute to him, ending the movie with one of his quotes is just as spectacular. Again, rest in peace, Stan.
By the way, I adore "Spider-Bells." Not only does it crack me up that Peter has a mental breakdown halfway through singing it, but it also means this movie is a Christmas movie...Because if people can call Die Hard a Christmas movie, then I can call Spider-Man: Into the Spider-Verse a Christmas movie too. Leave me alone.
As for final teasers, Spider-Man 2099 looks dope and I cannot wait to see him tear Miles apart in Spider-Man: Across the Spider-Verse...That felt weird to say, but let the record show that I said with love!
And they got the pointing meme in. Yup, I adore this movie!
So, a pretty flawless film, right?
…Weeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeell–
Ok, I want to make it clear that while there are problems to be had, they don't spoil the movie. Most of them are just nitpicks that always bothered me personally, so don't take them too seriously. With that said...
Where did the spider come from? It's the thing that fundamentally changes Miles' life, and we never really got an answer for that.
Why did Gwen double back on revealing her name? Gwen's a pretty common name to have. And, odds are, the one in this universe looks vastly different to her. We already know Peter B. Parker is different from Miles' Peter Parker, so it's not too much of a stretch. Plus, even if Gwen looks the same, the Gwen we know within this movie is already risking a lot by being out as herself, so why change the name? I know it's a small thing, but like I said, it always bothered me.
And while we're on the topic of Gwen, I'm not a fan of her backstory. Not her origin story, that's fine. But the fact that she was in Miles' universe for a whole week and her spider-sense told her to go to his school is...confusing? If being in Miles' universe is literally killing her, how is she not dead already? And how does spider-sense tell her to go to a new school? As far as I can tell, spider-sense is an alarm system that gives a Spider-Person total awareness of everything around them. Not to act as an instruction manual of what to do in life. I take it that this is an excuse to get her and Miles to interact more and form more of a romantic bond, which I'm fine with because they're adorable together. It's just that I wish this was done in a way that made more sense because, as is, it's making my brain hurt.
Kingpin's design...is laughable. Apparently, it's paying homage to a Daredevil comic's artist interpretation of the character, which I guess it's cool...but he looks ridiculous. And don't get me wrong, I love it when superhero animation goes for a more stylistic approach with heroes and villains instead of a realistic one. It's why Spectacular Spider-Man is my favorite Spider-Man show as opposed to others, because every character looks unique from one another, especially the villains. And while Kingpin certainly looks unique...it's a little too much, and it's the one thing I never take seriously with this film.
Green Goblin! One of the most important and influential villains in Spider-Man's line-up...is wasted as canon fodder, dying just as fast as he's introduced. Kind of disappointing.
Spider-Noir, Peni Parker, and Spider-Ham are great characters. They're each animated in great styles that perfectly convey they're from another universe, have some great jokes, and are overall a good time. The problem? They're...not necessary. You can cut these three out of the movie, and nothing will change. I wouldn't mind if they were characters who were there to add fluff and nothing else, but they're there to also add emotional weight to the story. Take Peni's sadness about SP/dr getting destroyed or the characters all saying goodbye to Miles. I can tell that they're all meant to be heart wrenching moments, but we hardly spend time with these characters to feel like it's earned. Miles barely got time to spend with them, so that, right there, takes the punch out of their sad farewells. Again, they're great characters, and I do love that they're a part of this movie. The only problem is that they're in too short of a film to really deserve the emotional beats.
The Spider-People hiding from Miles' roommate might be the ONE joke that fits the more "In your face" style like other Marvel movies. It spoiled the serious momentum before it, and I feel like they kept it in for the sake of a trailer clip.
Hey! Mary Jane Watson is the worst part of a Spider-Man movie! Yeah, go figure. She's an essential part of Peter's life, but there's no personality to either version of the character we see in this movie. Calling her an over-glorified plot device would be generous.  Sorry, MJ, but a Spider-Man movie has, once again, done you dirty. But at least you're pretty good in the MCU...Don't give me that look. You know it's true.
I don't mind Kingpin failing to kill Miles. Villains will stupidly allow the heroes to gain the second wind, and you just need to accept that in superhero media...BUT HOW THE ACTUAL HELL DID MILES, HIS DAD AND ALL THE OTHER NORMAL LIVING PEOPLE SURVIVE THAT EXPLOSION! Look at it! It was massive!
But, seriously, that’s all I have.
Spider-Man: Into the Spider-Verse is the best Spider-Man movie. Nerds and losers debate about which of the live-action films are better but note how rarely anyone denies Spider-Man: Into the Spider-Verse being on top. Can you blame them? With game-changing animation, amazing characters, and a story showcasing everything that's to love about Spider-Man, you cannot get better than this. I look forward to the rest of this trilogy, but I have already accepted that Spider-Man: Into the Spider-Verse will forever remain at the best that there is, and it'll take actual flawless perfection to change my mind.

atsv thoughts (spoilers)
i believe that even if miles morales knew about canon events and the consequences of breaking them before entering pavitr’s world, he still would have saved inspector singh, because he already knows what it’s like to lose his uncle aaron and to feel helpless, to feel guilt and self-blame and doubt about whether he’s ever going to be good enough as both spider-man and as his parents’ son. so he’s not going to let someone else experience the same tragedy that he went through if he can stop it. and like, isn’t that one of the things that makes spider-man so compelling as a hero? seeing the relatable, fish-out-of-water moments where this character begins to learn, to grow, to love and to lose that love, to develop a deeper connection with their community, remaining in many ways a down-to-earth “everyman” even though they are burdened with an overwhelming responsibility and forced to hide who they are. miles morales isn’t spider-man just because he was bitten by a radioactive spider, he’s spider-man because he has the heart of spider-man, that even through loss he would continue to do the right thing and use his abilities to find a solution to a seemingly insurmountable problem. like, to an extent i understand miguel’s reasoning (tho him trying to beat the shit out of miles while calling him worthless is essentially begging for some form of well-deserved divine comeuppance in the 3rd movie), but to me the whole point of having the spider society should have been to stick up for each other when spider-people have trouble dealing with situations in their own world (i.e. truly living out the punk values that characters like hobie stand by), rather than engaging in multiverse surveillance of each spider-person to keep them in line and letting their loved ones die for the “greater good”.
also the mj in peter b. parker’s universe should have had some more hard-hitting lines (wow fanfic time!). specifically when peter b returns from the chase and puts mayday to sleep, and him and mj are tenderly watching their baby, he should have asked mj what she would do to protect mayday. and she would say smth to tease peter b at first, like “oh didn’t we agree that she’s under spider-man’s care when im at work?” but then peter b would ask her again, and we can see that he’s seriously considering everything that just happened to miles, and this time mj notices the shift and she takes a moment to think. and then she responds with “i think i would give my whole being, my whole world to keep her safe.” and peter asks “you’d give the world? the universe? including other people with their own parents and children?” and mj replies with “i’d do everything and anything for her, but i dont know if i could be called a good parent if i had to force someone else to give up their happiness.” and peter’s on a roll, he’s plagued by more questions at an answer that could be interpreted either for or against miles’s actions---”what if you had to make a choice, mj? mayday or everything---everyone---else?” and now mj knows this is something much, much bigger, but she’s firm with her answer. “spider-man isn’t driving a runaway train headed towards mayday on one track and a group of old ladies on another, peter. he’s the one swinging outside, ripping up the damned tracks and growing a third arm right then and there to steer the train to safety. and if spider-man isn’t willing to do that, then i sure will.” and that’s when it sinks into peter b that he cant play by miguel’s rules anymore. or smth. idk. anyways yea that’s my ramble

Tell us about Mrs. Parker, Pete
Ask Peter Anything - Accepting
Tumblr media
"Oh thank god! This I can do!" Honestly Peter had been a little afraid they were going to ask for another rough question and he was really going to have to question his ability to answer it. But he liked the idea of all of the little spider's coming to him and asking questions.. that they felt comfortable to come talk to him at all. He knew all to well how many of them just needed someone to relate to.. and with him being one of the oldest spiders BY FAR.. well he would bring comfort where he could.
"I met MJ when we were kids, and LET ME TELL YOU it was down right love at first sight, I mean have you seen her? How couldn't it be?!" He could still remember the day so CLEARLY in his mind, she was the cutest little red haired girl he had ever seen and he remembered asking his mom if she was a goddess like the ones in the tales of Odysseus and other Greek myths that she had been reading to him.
"God and she is SO SMART! Oh man the way her mind works? It leaves me BREATHLESS!" The love was so clear in his voice, and he saw absolutely no reason to hide it. "And she always knows when I'm bullshitting, no matter how good I get at hiding it! Honestly she reads me better than anyone ever could, hell sometimes I think even better than I know myself sometimes." It was weird to be.. so thoroughly known by another person, and yet so COMFORTING all at the same time.
"She has always been my rock, and I can honestly say that I am LOST without her." He had to learn that the hard way, and that was something he never planned on doing ever again. "Also she gives the best mom hugs and I have it on GOOD AUTHORITY that if you ask she will be more than happy to give ya one."

Dude can I just say, I have never seen a piece of writing that deserved so much to be on the fucking shelves on the New York's bestseller as much as yours. I personally love how your writing style has this certain amount of grit. This hard won, hard fought, poverty and loss driven grit. Because here's the thing Marvel misses out on a lot. They forget that in the central core, Peter is a genius kid stuck in poverty. And no matter how good he is, how much good he gives to the world, he's a kid in fucking poverty. And that's what greets people when they wake up in the morning- another cycle of poverty. (Can you tell I personally realte to that?) And one of the lines, the way you described the Parker family- yeah you got it. You got it, right. There is a hardness to that kindness too. My family is the same, my dad will empty his wallet to buy food for the people on the streets. (A habit i seen to have picked up, a friend pointed it out) But when it comes to his friends or loved ones offering him money to pay for his lunch- he will point blank refuse. And the line about Peter talking about how May and Ben would starve themselves to feed him, and those field trip forms? God that was so relatable. So fucking relatable. And him talking about the rich kids paying for birthday parties and shit? Yeah I relate. I relate so hard. My brother and I used to joke about the spoilt brats with their suits and gowns all heading off to restruants and bars for parties, while we would be happy with a slice of cake from the bakery next door and newspaper wrapped presents from neighbours who could only grab odd antiques and empty photo frames as gifts. And the part about MJ and him bonding over that? I have a friend and we bond over that too. I mean, there's kids with personal chauffers and you're here looking at the price of the two bit packet of chips that maybe maybe you could fit into the groceries this month. Of course you're gonna bond with the other kid (even though we bonded over other things before sussuing out the part that HEY YOU'RE NOT A RICH KID LIKE ME). Cause that's the thing I am very good friends with most of those rich kids (i kinda had a similar situation as Pete with the top entrance exam marks kinda thing) but there is a difference. There is difference because we're all wearing pristine uniforms stated by the school, but you aren't wondering if you have enough ink for your pens to last the entire year and wondering if you can afford to buy anymore this month, before you're reminded that you can. It isn't as bad as it used to be. And THAT is the point. Because poverty isn't simply a financial state of being, it is this perputal state of living where even when you might have reached a point that means you are better off, you're constantly wondering if it's gonna go away again
I'm sorry kind of dissolved into a rant there. But you can tell that the way you captured Peter's poverty hit hard. It hit home, I just love your writing style and the impressive backstories you give your character and how you're moving along the plot SO WELL. It's masterful
I don't think I can really put into words how much your message means to me, so I'll just say thank you and that I wish you the absolute best. I'm beyond happy that peter's poverty in pottery shards resonated. marvel always seemed to treat spider-man's poverty as something tangential, like a difference between whether or not we need to spend screen time on whether he needs to get the eggs, when it’s exactly as you said—it’s a perpetual state of living, and one that affects the entirety of someone

Happy couldn’t even begin to describe how you’d felt for the last two weeks.
When you got paired up with the famously smart Peter Parker for a biochemistry project, it was like immediate sparks. You clicked so well that it was like the two of you had known each other your entire lives.
So when he met you at your locker after your project was turned in, you smiled.
“Hey,” you greeted, but he seemed determined to ask you something. He leaned against the locker to your right, his shoulder bracing his body. His hands were shoved into his jacket pockets and he couldn’t hold back the look of admiration in his eyes.
“Hypothetically, if you had to pick a restaurant for dinner, what would you say?”
You closed your locker. “Purely hypothetically?”
“Mhm,” he said with a single slow nod.
“Alright, let me think.” You sarcastically placed the pad of your pointer finger against your lower lip and looked down, pretending to ponder his question. “There’s a Greek restaurant on 21st Street, Bel Aire Diner.”
“Okay. Now, again, purely hypothetical, if I was to take you there tonight, would you be in?”
“A hypothetical date?”
“Yep. Purely hypothetical.”
You paused for a few seconds and he raised his eyebrows.
“Well, if any of this were true, I would absolutely say yes.”
He smirked. “Sweet. See you tonight.”
The edges of your mouth crept into a grin as he walked off, a bit more pep in his step.
That was two weeks ago. Now, he was in your bed, the two of you studying for a test in the aforementioned biochemistry class. He was leaned against your headboard with a couple of pillows behind him. You were sitting up with your hip next to his.
The test was on enzymes, or at least that’s what you were trying to discuss.
But the conversation had turned personal. Peter had been trying to get to know every little thing about you, and vice versa. He loved hearing you talk about your life and was always as interested as he could possibly be. And you usually loved the questions.
Until now.
“Have you ever been with anyone else?”
You shook your head. “Nope.”
“Really?”
“Yep. Now can we get back to-”
“Have you ever kissed anyone?” Another head shake. “Oh, that’s bullshit.”
His response caught you off guard, and you raised your eyebrows.
“What do you mean, bullshit?”
“I mean bullshit. You’re way too beautiful to have not kissed anyone.”
“Well, you’re wrong. I’ve never kissed anyone.”
“Not even on the cheek?”
“No one I’m not related to.” He was astounded. And it translated into his expression. “You don’t have to look at me like that,” you awkwardly chuckled. “You’re making me feel like a weirdo.”
“No, you’re not a weirdo.” He sat up, his face now less than a foot from yours. “Can I ask why?”
You shrugged. “No one’s ever really been interested in me, I guess.”
“See, I find that hard to believe.”
“Why?”
He scanned your face, his eyes settling on your lips for a second more than the rest of your features.
“Have you seen yourself?” You nodded. “You sure?”
You scoffed. “I think so.”
He reached up and slowly pushed your hair behind your left ear. You could feel your skin heating up and your breath became a bit shaky, your heart rate picking up.
He gently pulled your face closer, connecting your foreheads. You’d never so much as held hands with someone of the opposite sex, so this was new.
And then, in an instant, your lips were together. It wasn’t anything like you’d ever expected — it was better. So much better. Maybe it was because of the adrenaline coursing through your veins, or maybe Peter was a great kisser.
Either way, you felt like you were floating. And you never wanted it to end. So when the kiss was over, you processed for a moment before pulling him back in. Your hand found its way to where his neck and the back of his head meet, your thumb resting in front of his ear.
You kissed for a few more seconds before he pulled back, both of you out of breath.
“Wow,” you giggled, your hand slowly resting on top of his thigh. You sat back a bit and smiled, which made him chuckle.
“Are you okay?”
“Mhm.”
“You sure?” You knew he was poking fun at you, but you knew it wasn’t in a mean way.
“I’m so sure.”
He leaned in for another quick kiss before he began flipping through flashcards again. Meanwhile, your cheeks were red hot.

summary: but when he saw you fall from his grasp, he could not bare to lose you again.
masterlist part one, part two.

peter parker x fem!reader
warnings: finally a happy (??) ending, little angst, redemption and peter finally gets the girl </3
the bold in the third half of peter means the past chapter/past scene current peter is watching :)
part three to: gone and forgotten + slipping through his fingers.
don’t steal any of my work, thanks!
━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━
𝐓𝐇𝐄 𝐖𝐎𝐑𝐋𝐃 𝐇𝐀𝐃 been eating Peter Parker alive for the past 6 months. It has been 182 days without you, Y/N. 182 days since Peter had last ever willingly spoken to someone.
You’re all that’s on his mind.
His head is constantly flooded with the thought of you. Only you. His mind will not focus on anything but the moment he lost you, the moment he lost everything important. What was there to live for if you weren’t here?
He hasn’t tried to move on, he couldn’t. The only people supporting him were his friends and Peter began to believe they were going to grow bored of him. Because everything he loves, he loses.
That’s why he went on that stupid school trip in the first place, to take his mind off everything that had the slightest relation to you. But no, things still go to shit even when he believes he’s hit rock bottom. The one time he trusted someone out of your friendship group since you; decided to stab him in the fucking back and frame him for killing the asshole by saving everyones lives.
Thanks for the great fucking trip, Midtown!
So that’s how he’s here, stood infront of an middle aged man with four robotic arms as a look alike for an octopus.
“Do you know a Peter Parker that is Spiderman?” Dr Strange questioned, pointed to the boy holding a possible permanent face full of confusion as his weight shifted from foot to foot, staring down the intruder he had never heard nor seen of before.
Dr Octopus looked intently at the so called ‘Peter Parker’ and nodded his head, “Yes.” eyes still trained on the boy infront of him.
“Is that him?” Strange raised his voice, now putting the pieces together. Dr Octopus shook his head, “No.”
Peter stared between the two quizzically, unsure on how to comprehend whether he was offended that another Peter Parker was known more than him or the fact that another Peter Parker actually exists?
“Oh, God.” Strange sighed, rubbing his temples furiously as he walked hastily from the scene. Peter wasting no time on following the Sorcerer. Speeding up his pace, he noticed the stress rolling off Steven as the man had turned to face the Spiderman from previous facing his back to him.
Swallowing all his worries, Peter spoke “Can you please explain what is going on?” Pain strung through his voice. Ever since that night he failed, he is and will always be on edge. Afraid to get something wrong. Because the last time he was wrong, he lost his world.
Strange lifted his head up to Peter. “After I shut that spell down, we started getting visitors for every universe.”
Peter heart stopped. “The multiverse is real?” He gasped. An entire separate universe existed exactly like his. Exactly like his?
“When you say multiverse, do you mean another versions of people have different fates than one’s supposedly in here?” Peter said barely above a whisper. Dr Strange’s face turned hard, teeth gritted and shaking his head.
“I know what you’re thinking, Parker.” He walked up to him, slowly lowering his hands onto his shoulders. “But she’s gone.” He spoke sternly, slightly brushing against his shoulder before he gave him a sympathetic look.
Peter stood stationary in his space, head not following Strange as he walked off. A frown itching its way onto his face as tears swelled in his beautiful eyes, sniffles held back as he thought about her. It felt as if something was lodged in his throat about to spill out sobs at a simple mention of your once existing presence.
After seeing a so-called ‘Dr Octopus’, Peter wondered what other villains his doppelgänger’s must have fought. Strange had mentioned a Lizard like human thing? One who was previously his dad’s friend/co-worker who didn’t have an arm, then attempting to create a cure for this and somehow turning himself into a Lizard and trying to turn everyone else into one too. Sounds like a damn good movie to Peter.
His mind wondered into more depth of superhero business, then to stumble onto the teeth gritting question. Would he be back? Would the man who took everything away from him and everyone who loved her be back to tear his heart into two again? He only wished he would. To watch the man he hated with every bone in his body grow weaker under his fingertips.
Peter didn’t realise how long he was standing there until Dr Strange tapped him on the shoulder, telling him to follow his lead immediately.
━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━
𝐏𝐄𝐓𝐄𝐑 𝐒𝐓𝐎𝐎𝐃 𝐇𝐎𝐋𝐃𝐈𝐍𝐆 the odd box, twisting it reluctantly as the last thing he would want to do is break Dr Strange’s property.
“Care to explain what this actually is?” Peter exclaimed as he waved the object in the air slightly causing Strange to cringe.
“No time for that.” Steven walked up face to face with the boy, “This son of a bitch won’t come to you…” He stared intensely into Peter’s brown eyes, now holding onto the box with him.
“So you’re gonna go to him” He said before pushing the box harshly into Peter’s chest caused him to completely float from his vision.
Peter’s body flung back to his surprise and within a millisecond on strobe coloured lights, he landed unexpectedly on a further away electric tower. Landing on his face, Peter groaned loudly unaware of where the hell had Strange forced him to and who he was referring to.
That was until he saw three clear figures in the distance.
━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━
“𝐏𝐋𝐄𝐀𝐒𝐄! 𝐈’𝐌 𝐇𝐄𝐑𝐄 just take me! Anything to let her go!” Peter bargained. He didn’t care what happened to him now because as long as he knew you were safe, he’d be okay even if it meant him sacrificing all he has.
Goblin chuckled in your direction hearing the boy that still loved you scream in desperation at your demise. “Looks like he hasn’t forgotten you.” He taunted in your face, grinning at the fear creased into your precious face. Your bottom lip quivered, “Please.” you whispered feeling the blood ooze from your cut forming from your eyebrow to your cheekbone.
Osborn’s laughter stopped at you sudden words, having not spoken since he had caught you in the first place. Your words of retaliation made all the fun he had experienced so far stop, you had finally given up with his actions as he had become bored of toying with you in an instant.
As his smile dropped, so did you.
━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━
𝐓𝐇𝐀𝐓𝐒 𝐖𝐇𝐄𝐍 𝐂𝐔𝐑𝐑𝐄𝐍𝐓 Peter realised where he was. For the second time in his life he saw your life flash before your eyes as your body dropped.
Peter’s feet moved itself as he flung himself towards the scene, watching his past self cling onto your body to soften your landing after smashing through layers of glass. He watched Goblin fly inwards to where past you two currently lay, current Peter ready to intervene.
His feet landed unsteadily on the smashed platform, stumbling on his own feet and perching over the edge to watch himself be kicked square in the chest and seeing your frail body hang from his web he knew would snap within a matter of minutes.
Lunging himself, Peter attempted to get to your body before your fate repeated itself. That was until past Peter and Goblin flew into him, blissfully unaware as another presence was the least of their problems as they watched you dangle far from the ground.
This sent Peter flying back, hitting his spine hardly on a pole attached to the clockwork which was holding you up right now. The reaction of his hit sent him falling flat on his face afterwards, coming face to face with your body slipping away from reality as the web snapped under the pressure of going cogs.
Peter forced himself off the edge, following your lead downwards to watch he wished you would experience together, whether that was good or bad.
What broke Peter most was to watch your sweet face screw up in acceptance. He had to watch you know your fate before his past self had even recognised you had fallen. Your beautiful features looked so broken. How could he let you think these things without his past selves attention devoted on your outcome before him-selves.
What felt like slo-motion, Peter reached his hand out to yours. Faring away, he webbed yours to his.
He did what he couldn’t do last time.
Your body jolted only inches away from the floor you didn’t miss last time.
He could see your face drop in shock, eyebrows upturned and mouth slightly ajar, letting out heavy panting before Peter dropped and coming face to face with you.
A sob racked through your body as you stared into the cut out eyes of Spiderman. Shaking your head and ripping off his mask to caress his pale face. “You’re okay, you’re okay.” He brushed your fallen hair out of your face as your fingers tangled into his messy hair from the lack of space in the mask. Your head buried itself into the crook of his neck as the two bodies became one as both of you sobbed in each others presence.
Peter clung on, knowing this was the last time he would ever see you.
He couldn’t bring you back to his universe as much as he wished.
Peter would just have to forever live with the fact that you may be gone in his universe, but he can always remember he got you as much as it breaks his heart and crushes it into a million pieces. And another version of himself can live the life with you he will forever envy for as long as he lives.
Just remember Peter, you got the girl.

Alone [P.P]
TASM!Peter Parker x fem!reader
Word count: 2.5k
WARNINGS: mentions of anxiety and depression in general.
A/N: Ok, I wrote this while I was on the bus to school, so it's not very long and not very good. I spent days doubting whether to publish it or not, but it is written in the first person because it is something that happened to me and I apologize in advance, I just wanted to express everything I felt by writing something and now I want to share it with you.
Tumblr media
I looked from one side to the other. The night was already falling and the party was heating up. I'm not a very party person if you ask me, but after the insistence of my friends to go to the school welcome I had no choice. After all, I'm already a college student and college students do those things, right?
I see a couple of people smoking weed in a corner, others are playing beer pong and a couple is kissing that I am sure won’t take long to escape to the bathroom.
It's fun to watch all these people, but when a guy offers me alcohol for the sixth time and I refuse, I know I'm starting to not fit in.
I think in all my life I've never fit in, in one way or another, but I have learned to get used to it.
The music is loud and he's not my favorite singer, but he's not bad either. The rhythm is cheerful, it serves to liven up the atmosphere.
There is no one sitting next to me, my friends are playing, dancing, or jumping on the trampoline that the owner of the house has. I smiled, at least they are having fun.
I look at the time, it's just going to be 10:00 pm. I think about the homework I still have to do; I think about the movie I want to finish watching, and I think about how I'm fucking hungry and there's nothing but booze at this party. So I grab my stuff and decide it's time to go. My friends seem sad because the pleasure of having taken me out of my cave didn't last long. I tell them that I am tired, that I want to sleep a little before the hard day that awaits us tomorrow. But the truth is that I had begun to suffocate.
I say goodbye to the nice guy who greeted me and he seems a bit sad too (or at least he fakes it) but I let it go. There are no buses at this time of night so I am forced to walk home, safe in the knowledge that Spiderman will come to the rescue if anything bad happens.
Oh Spiderman, how can I describe him?
Since a few weeks ago he has been very close to me as if my safety was of vital importance. And I mean, it is for me, but it shouldn't be for him.
I've greeted him a couple of times and I can almost imagine him blushing under his mask, embarrassed to be found out.
But he's a good guy, I guess, otherwise he wouldn't do everything he does for the city.
The cold is getting to my bones and I greatly regret choosing to wear a dress that day. I thought that maybe with that I would manage to attract someone's attention and that I would live some crazy love story, but that only stops in the movies.
While walking home I get a couple of messages. I've been out on the street for almost an hour now and it seems the party got even more lively when I left. I mean, not that this is directly related, but you get my point.
I watched videos of one of my best friends making out comfortably with a man and managed to figure out who he is. I met him weeks before and told all my friends that I thought he was attractive, but apparently, the alcohol had erased that memory. Honestly, I can't blame her either, because I limited me to looking at the guy from afar and greeting him from time to time. It's not like I'm his girlfriend or anything, nor do I think we ever had anything. So if she gets a boyfriend or a quickie that night, good for her.
He looked at another couple of videos on my contacts' statuses and smiled as he recognized a blond boy named Harry. He is taking a shot straight from the bottle and his friends cheer him on. He's a good-looking guy with a lot of money, but that doesn't make him snooty. On the contrary, he rebelled against his father to drop out of his super expensive school just to get into our shitty public university. It is curious, because I would never pass up the opportunity to be in a prestigious and renowned school, but I suppose that his action is because the girl he likes and his best friend (I haven’t yet deciphered if it is actually the reverse) are studying there. They're freshmen, just like me, and I tell myself that I should try talking to them later.
Try. My life has been a complete run of failed attempts. I am not saying that I am the shyest person, I am very loud and outgoing, but the truth is that I always chicken out when it comes to important things. That's why I don't have a partner and that's why I've been in love for years with a person who will never love me in life. She is already a thing of the past, or so I hope, but although I always say that I am over things, there is still a little bit of the pang of pain that causes that thorn in my heart.
In Harry's video, in the background, I can see the boy I told you about earlier. He is brown-haired, tall, with beautiful eyes and pale skin. He was looking at his friend with a bit of amusement, but also with something else that I don't know how to name but that I recognize in my own face when I'm with my friends. It's that 'I'm glad you're having fun, but I'll have to take care of you in a few hours' look. I smiled to myself, thinking of him. He must have been a good friend, but I guess from my position it was hard to tell.
I put my phone away as I approached a corner I considered dangerous. There were only a few blocks to go, but a shiver ran through me. I knew what it was about, those horrible moments when the whole world seemed to fall apart. I was supposed to have gone to a party, I must have been happy, right? So why did I feel this heavy tightness in my chest? Why can't I enjoy a moment before my own mind consumes me to the core?
Breathing became heavy and painful, and the feeling of wanting to disappear only intensified. I was only a few blocks away, I could go far enough to get home and lay on the floor to let myself slowly die. But I couldn't, my legs didn't move at all and I didn't have the heart to do it either.
So I just flopped against the cold wall, in the dark, hoping God would let me live another day.
“Hey…” I heard, close to me. My heart skipped a beat at the thought of it being some rapist or mugger, but it was just the friendly face I'd been seeing for the past few weeks. Well, it was more of a mask than a face “Are you okay? You feel bad?"
"I'm fine" I lied. Why was I told him that? Why did I feel the need not to worry a person I didn't even know?
"Did someone hurt you?" he insisted, crouching down in front of me. His voice was gentle and I wished I could ask him to keep talking to calm my racing heart. I only managed to shake my head, afraid that if I said a word I would burst into tears. If not that I was already crying at this point, well often the tears came long before I knew it "Do you want me to walk you home?" he said. I watched him reach for his hand for a second, deciding whether or not it was wise to touch me, but in the end, he decided to take a chance and placed his gloved palm on my arm. His touch felt like an anchor to reality, like he was stopping me from sinking into my own misery. "What's your name?"
“Y/N” I replied. Somehow, I knew he was smiling.
“Okay, Y/N. I'm here, do you want to talk about what's happening to you?" he exclaimed softly. And hearing it I thought: what the hell does it matter telling my problems to a complete stranger? I could be honest with him, he wouldn't judge me. And if he did, I didn't care because he wouldn't see it again unless I was in danger or turned into a supervillain. So… What difference does it make?
"I feel so fucking useless," I whispered and a sob escaped me. I pushed away all thoughts that I sounded ridiculous by telling him this just so I could throw it out of my system. I needed to tell someone.
"Why?" he asked. His movements were graceful, I just realized it, and I saw him get a little closer to me.
"I don't know, I feel like everyone hates me" I continued "but I don't even have a reason to and that makes me feel even worse. And I don't know, I feel so guilty about everything"
I stayed silent, with a lump in my throat, just to wait for his reaction. I wasn't looking at him directly, though I knew he was.
And despite my brain screaming at me to be quiet, my mouth kept talking.
"And everywhere I go I feel excited and happy to meet new people and make friends, but as the hours go by, I just feel more and more stupid and out of place. Everyone is smooching around, taking drugs, drinking alcohol, enjoying their lives and youth and I can't. And I know I don't need those things to have fun, but at the same time I'm convinced that if I don't do it everyone will make fun of it and that's why I end up thinking I'm much better off locked up at home" I let out a sob that cut me off and he slid his hand up my arm until it was close to mine, either inviting me to take it or letting me push him away. I took his hand and started to cry a little harder.
"We all have different ways of enjoying things"
"I know, but it's just that I feel so alone" I confessed. I hadn't talked about this with anyone, but loneliness was a latent part of my day to day "And when I have problems, I feel like a hindrance in the lives of my friends, I feel like I'm a burden they have to bear" I murmured, completely broken "Sometimes I just wish I was brave and strong. Like a superhero maybe. Like you”
"Brave and strong? Me?" he asked, amusement creeping into his voice "Oh, I'm not any of that, darling. I have problems and suffer many things every day, just like you. That's why I understand this emptiness you feel because I've felt it myself, many times” he continued. I held out my fist to wipe away my tears, incredulous at what he was saying. Maybe he was just lying to make me feel better "Listen, you're not a burden to anyone. I know it doesn't do much good to say that because I don't have magic powers that ward off sadness, but you shouldn't be affected by this. Sometimes our minds deceive us and we end up convinced that we are not loved, when this is not even remotely true. I know that there must be people in your life who care about you and that's why you have to surround yourself with them. What if you don't get drunk until you throw up? What difference does that make? The important thing is that you know that there will always be a place where you belong” his words felt safe and his grip on my hand comforted me. I was silent for a while. This talk wasn't going to fix my life, but at least I needed someone to tell me out loud that I wasn't just a disposable piece of an idiot.
"Thank you" I managed to say. Somehow, he had made me feel better, just by being there keeping me company.
My breathing was stabilizing and although I knew that if I thought about it again, I would explode again, at least I was calm enough to go home. He perceived that I was better and was encouraged to speak again.
"I'll walk you home," he exclaimed.
"No, I'm fine…"
"It's obvious you're not okay. I can accompany you, there is no problem. It's my job,” he insisted friendly. Even if I said no, I knew he would, for he was in no condition to ignore what had happened. So I thought that maybe this man was some kind of angel sent by God to take care of me and I wasn't going to be stupid enough to reject him.
He helped me up, because the previous crying had made me a little dizzy. It was the worst part of crying, the one that nobody talks about where after doing it for a long time you start to feel how your body begs to sleep.
He held me for most of the way and kept asking me questions about myself to drive away bad thoughts and at the same time keep me awake. It was working.
I don't remember if I thanked him, nor do I remember when he left. All I remember is him helping me sneak out my bedroom window and as soon as my body hit the mattress, everything went dark.
Tumblr media
The next morning, the feeling was gone. It's as if my body sedates me naturally as if I suddenly don't remember anything that had happened. I was just tired, with big dark circles under my eyes and a lost look.
That's how it always was, after the explosion, there was simply nothing: it was like dying.
“Morning,” I said hoarsely, to the driver. My backpack was already slung over my shoulder and I hurriedly made my way to the nearest empty seat. My eyes stayed on the window, looking at the sky and realizing that even in the dark of night some clouds could be seen. It was going to rain, that's for sure.
I closed my eyes, hoping to get some sleep, and then I felt a person sitting next to me. I mentally cursed for that and raised my head, praying that I wasn't that friend. It wasn't, instead, I was met with a pretty face and a sheepish smile.
“Hey” he greeted me. He didn't say anything else and neither did I, I just greeted him with a nod, returning to my starting position. I could have stayed quiet, slept until I got to school, and never spoken to him again.
But I remembered that song, saying you're not good alone.
And I thought maybe it was true. I wasn't good alone.
"Your name is Peter, right?" I asked in his direction. He smiled at me... and I knew I would be fine.

Anyway, Peter Parker is Bi, and I Won’t Be Convinced Otherwise.
Firstly, we have to get our bases covered. What exactly is Bi-sexuality? What is sexuality?
Sexuality is defined as a persons identity in relation to gender(s) they are attracted to. Why is this important? Peter’s sexuality has never been specifically stated in the comics, nor in any other form of media. It’s assumed that he is straight because of his popular relationship with Mary Jane Watson in the comics, and the movies.
Now that we have a bases for what exactly sexuality is and how it’s defined, let’s go over Peter’s partners.
Tumblr media
Obviously Peter and Mary Jane are a piece of comic book history. They eventually get married, though sadly, during the events of Civil War II (I think, don’t quote me) Peter and Mary Jane sell their marriage to Mephisto in order to save Aunt May
Tumblr media
They later had their memories of their marriage restored, they have yet to get back together and it’s been a few issues if I remember correctly. Next we have Peter’s first, and most unfortunate love, Gwen Stacy.
Tumblr media
They dated in high school where she later died. Of course, Peter has dated other people (namely, Black Cat, Betty Brant, Carol Danvers, Anna Maria, Cindy Moon, Lian Tang, and so on). Since we have his known history of heterosexuality out there, we need to move onto another important part of Peter’s Bi-sexuality. An important implication in any media, especially queer media though, and that is the homoerotic subtext.
Homoerotic subtext is important part of queer culture, a lot of the time it’s used to portray a characters queerness without saying it out (see: Dorian Gray by Oscar Wild or Great Gatsby By Fitz). In current decade, homoerotic subtext is often used for queer baiting or creating more realistic male friendships.
So what’s the difference between someone creating a health male friendship (or a character comfortable in their heterosexuality) and implying a character is queer?
Here are some examples of a healthy male character, both with himself and his friendships.
Tumblr media
Clearly he’s just taking the shit, and messing around with Reed. He’s comfortable enough (or as I like to see it, so traumatized because good god this guy has been Spider-Man since he was 15 good god that’s awful. He probably doesn’t care anymore). Here are some examples of Peter a little more than just a straight man shooting the shit.
Tumblr media
This has three meanings. Two of which I will take, one of which is just deeply embarrassing. Despite Peter’s history with humiliating events, I don’t think he would get his own spunk in his eyes. Leaving the other two options, he has experience getting spunk of - some kind - in his eyes, and/or he’s taking the shit again. Which is very likely.
Tumblr media
Kissing a cop? For....no reason? A little not so hetero of you Peter.
Tumblr media
You can practically hear his disappointment in his voice. Also could be read as taking the shit, but why would you.
Tumblr media Tumblr media
Making out with The Thing? Gay.
Tumblr media
This one is the most important. Peter is clearly tired, annoyed by his teammates (see wolverine being wolverine in the corner). Shits on fire, its mid battle, and Peter has the audacity to mutter “I hate men” to himself. The only people I have every heard say this in that was are lgbt and straight women, and lgbt men. This kind of expression only comes from people who date, or deal with men in a completely different world than straight men. Straight men use this phrase as an endearment, “Oh have you seen Bill today, I hate that guy.” “Man Jerry can do so many push-ups, I hate that guy.” Very different language, and implications (I also, obviously don’t know how straight men speak).
Now that we’ve gone over our bases, and homoerotic subtext. How else could we gather that Peter Parker is Bi? There are many tropes in media - queer media - that allure to a characters queerness. Like homoerotic subtext, there are ways to tell an audience something without specifically saying it.
Tumblr media
This is a gay wedding Peter went to in the recent comics. I don’t know if any of you have been to a gay wedding recently, but Peters face (the first panel above the wedding) is the same exact face I made at my first gay wedding. It’s the face of excitement for not only the couple, but for yourself. The hope that maybe, you too can actually be in a same-sex relationship.
I’m also going to allure to queer tropes as stated previously. Such as the real, and fictional trope of lgbt people sticking together. Thousands of years of belittlement and oppression will make groups of people not want to wonder out, and subconsciously look for others like them.
Tumblr media
Johnny Storm (and Wade Wilson since he comes in later but I couldn’t find a picture of the confirmation) is cannon Bi-sexual (Pan-sexual).
Tumblr media
Their friendship is deeply homoerotic as most queer friendships in media and real life are. Johnny flirts with Peter on many occasions (saying his ideal women is a female version of Peter, inviting him over to watch is sex tape, and so on) and of course oh my god they were roommates.
Some other popular queer tropes are: Found Family, Soulmates, and Enemies to lovers. Because it’s superhero related, this includes the Identity Porn tag as well.
Peter Parker and Wade Wilson have a famous Love/Hate relationship. I mean, how could you expect anything less when your first meeting with this known mercenary is him throwing your civilian persona out the window of a car. Now, Wade still doesn’t know Peter is Spider-Man in the current run of comics, but that doesn’t make anything about them any less gay.
For the Found Family Trope:
Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media
Because it’s Peter and Wade, their whole development can be read as Enemies to Friends to Lovers, so I wont bother backing that up because, uh, it speaks for itself. One panel really does to add that cause though
Tumblr media
I’m not going to explain what a free-pass list is.
The Soulmates part I know I have to back up.
For SoulMates:
Tumblr media
Now this panel requires a little explanation. Wade kills Peter, not knowing he’s Spider-Man. Weasel takes over for Peter (they don’t know its him) so no one suspects he’s dead. Deadpool begins to feel guilty he killed his best buds best bud, so he tries to bring Peter back to life. Losing his stunning good looks (switching back to how he looked before Weapon X making his wife Shiklah estranged (then she married Dracula but thats beside the point)). Spider-Man is Peter’s “true self” or patronus for Harry Potter fans. Wade is stupid and hasn’t connected the dots yet, effectively making him the biggest simp in history. Seriously, who destroys their marriage for the c h a n c e for getting some with their idol? A Simp, that’s who.
Tumblr media
Peter forgives Wade for killing him (and for saving him from killing their genetic daughter itsy-bitsy). If someone killed me they better be hot as fuck before I even thing about forgiving them. Ignoring Peter’s super sexy forgiving nature, uh, he’s kinda simping.
Tumblr media
Died in each others arms. Nothing else is needed.
Tumblr media
They’re heartmates. From what I read, the feeling has to be mutual in order for it to work. The witches (long story, comics are hard to explain) that captured deadpool were expecting his wife so they could get the headmistress back. Instead, they got Peter. Basically Heartmates = soulmates but chosen for you instead of chosen by you.
To conclude my point:
Tumblr media
Thank you for coming to my TED Talk.

Peter Parker x Chronically!illReader
again, these are based on some of my experiences, but everyone’s different || T/W: hospitals, pain, & med mention
for anon ❤︎
Tumblr media
He figured it out pretty quick — while you don't want your chronic illness to define you, the people who know you will definitely know and Peter catches on pretty darn quick, maybe it's the "spider-sense." When you found out you were a little afraid he might not be as interested because sometimes situations and symptoms aren't always pretty or fun, and at times they're barely manageable. Yet, his response to you asking if he really wanted to get into it after figuring it out was shocking. "I love you," he stated, "and that's always going to be a part of you, right? So, I don't see it as anything more than a part of you, good days and bad days, I'll still love you. If you'll still love me, Spiderman and all." With a kiss to his cheek you smile, "it's always going to be a part of you, and I love you, so looks like we're stuck together."
Pick-ups — Peter is great at picking stuff up for you. If there’s anything you need that would help ease the pain / symptoms, the moment you mention it Peter is on it. // When you’re hanging out in his room, the moment you comment “I should have brought that with me-“ Peter’s jumping up and suiting up. “Why not just walk to the store?” You ask curiously, “I’ll be faster this way!” he says with a smile. “But you really think it’ll look very superhero of you if you get-“ / “I don’t care what other people think about what I’m getting, if it’ll help you, it’s always worth it.”
Staying home after a flare — Peter’s really cool about staying home. Since he’s not “mr popular” at school he’s a-okay with not being a part of every single activity at school, in fact he’s a bit of a homebody himself. You two spend time playing old Atari video games while Aunt May makes some snacks for the two of you while you attempt to beat him in asteroids. He also shows you all the cool tech for his suit and how he’s adjusting it / making upgrades. Sometimes Ned also comes over and you all work on a Lego collection together.
↳ Peter 100% lets you try out his spider-man gear when you’re having a down day. Sometimes he brings stuff to your room, like the mask and he lets you talk to Karen or he even brings the IronSpider and lets you se all the cool stuff inside, the different settings, modes etc. You've tried out the web-shooters a few times, but found it was incredibly hard to get off the walls and it just became a nightmare when you accidentally hit the ceiling fan.
Carry you — if you’re feeling fatigue Peter aways offers to carry you, no matter where you are or the situation. This includes swinging through downtown to get somewhere faster, or simply carrying you up the apartment stairs because a symptom hit you out of nowhere. Sometimes when you don't want to draw as much attention to the fact that you need some help, he'll just hook an arm through yours and let you support yourself against him; in other settings, like of trips and walks, he'll give you a piggy-back ride.
Medication reminders — you're pretty sure Peter has your medications down better than you do. He knows where you keep them at your place, where you keep them when you come over, and where he keeps an extra few in case you forget to bring it. He's also like clock-work if you have a pill-taking schedule. No matter what you're doing he gently reminds you that you should take your medicine, something that always shocks you is he doesn't say it in a condescending tone, he makes it sound totally normal, which helps you feel more comfortable with having to take a break and take something when need be.
He’s very sympathetic — while he doesn't know how the exact pain or symptoms feel, he knows what it's like to have different and unique things going on that no one else understands. That's a reason he always wants to be there for you, even if you just want to vent about the fact that you feel like no one sees your pain half the time, unless it's a major emergency, which then of course, when you don't want people to know, everyone seems to know and ask about it. Peter wants you to know that it’s a safe space to vent and talk about your feelings and how your feeling, even if it’s the same as you felt yesterday.
Doctor's appointments — Peter gets really nervous when you go to the doctor, he wants to be there, but knows he can’t always be there. However, he loves texting you while you’re in the waiting room, anything to keep your mind a little distracted while waiting. He’s a big fan of Snapchat, which results in some retry hilarious distractions for yourself. // You almost always call or FaceTime him with the results or just how the appointment went when you’re done.
Hospital visits — Aunt May and Peter visit you a lot when you're in the hospital. Aunt May brings you your favourite snacks and always makes sure to bring blankets, pillows, and anything else to make the room feel a little more like home. Peter also brings some familiar stuff, but most of all he just wants to spend time with you. He hates the idea of you being alone just waiting around for someone to come keep you company.
↳ in fact he hates the idea of you being alone so much that he's asked if he can stay overnight with you. The hospital says no, because he's not of age or relation status to do so. However, that doesn't stop him. After nightfall, Peter will scale the side of the hospital, find your room, and come in through the window. Naturally he brought his backpack with him, containing an extra blanket and pillow. Those nights are the best, because you wind up falling asleep in his arms. And even though the doctor give supi a weird look and asks if you had that hoodie on last night, it’s total worth it.
Lots and lots of affection — Peter loves doting on you physically, he wants you to know that you are loved and that you’re beautiful, no matter what your pain, flares, and bad days look like, you are loveable! He always greets you with a hug and loves holding your hand. He loves cuddling you or being cuddled by you, he’s a-okay with you being more dominant in the cuddle department, he just likes being close to you and feeling you near him. Other times when you want to be held he is absolutely going to comfort and cuddle the heck out of you—
↳ Peter’s dedicated to you, he’s in it for the long haul, so if that means cradling you because your shaking on the bathroom floor unsure of how your flare is going to behave to sitting with you (or outside and just beside you) while you take a bath, or staying with you in bed because you’re too tired, or hanging out on the sofa where you’ve made camp for the weekend, etc. He just wants to be with you.

Marvel Preferences: They React To You Being An Actor
---------------------------
Tumblr media
Steve loves watching movies, so there's no doubt he will love your acting career. He loves your acting and the characters you play as (but if you're playing as a villian he's gonna be like, *raises eyebrow*).
He says he has flaws he needs to work on when you tell him he's perfect, but also says he's glad that he has someone who will accept him regardless of his flaws rather than what everyone sees him to be. He does get caught off when you call him beautiful, and he can only manage a smile because he doesn't know what to say.
He does end up also being speechless when you would mention your cooking because he does love them, adding on to his wish of having a simple and domestic life.
Tumblr media
Bucky isn't really someone who wants to be the certain of attention and wants your  relationship with him to be more private. Other than that, he loves getting more comfortable with the more domestic life with you as soon as you get home; he loves cuddling with you and watching movies and feels at ease for once.
When you tell him just how perfect he is for you and how you can't wait to shower him with affection, he practically tears up and is almost in disbelief that he was lucky to have someone like you. Bucky melts into you when you hug him, and he's clinging to you, desperately not wanting to let you go.
He definitely looks forward to your cooking, and shyly comments on how he might enjoy every last of your foreign dishes and is touched at how you take the time to do this for him.
Tumblr media
Tony? PFFT. He's all about showing you off as both of you are famous. He comes up with a bunch of nicknames for each character you play (and might roast them). He definitely promotes merch from the movies or shows you star in. When you keep talking about how perfect he is for you, he does get a little speechless for a moment and then stutters trying to make a joke about how you should make a romance movie about it.
When you would bring up your cooking, he jokes ('cause he's Tony) and he's like, "what, you gonna add a love potion in it or something?"
Tumblr media
Sam jokes about your talent having a good use for the team, but he overall does love your career. Natasha comments that he uses it weapon because yes, he will threaten Bucky with spoiler alert if he makes him mad. Sam is also like, "is there any characters that can fly, or...?
When you would say how perfect he is for you, he jokes about what brought this on and how you can't stop talking about him. But he does seriously appreciate it and smiles, and tells you how lucky he is to have someone like you.
He does comment on how much he loves your cooking and looks foward to it, and does offer to cook with you.
Tumblr media
Peter likes watching your shows or movies  at night time while cuddles with you. He especially loves anything with action (God help him if he watches horror).
He blushes and stutters what you tell him how perfect he is for you and how beautiful he is, and the only thing he can come up with is, "uh...t-thank you..um..you too...?"
Peter is flattered when you tell him how much you're going to cook for him and he shyly requests, "um...can you cook that...one dish again? I really liked that one...It's one of my favorites, actually..."
Tumblr media
Scott literally spends hours binge watching every movie or show you star in and if you mind it, it can be annoying because he's always making commentary during movies and he's like, "oh my god, did you see that?!"
He also claims he's your biggest fan (and will fight anyone who disagrees) and buys all your merch only to forget your character's famous quotes...
When you tell him how perfect he is for you, he ends up zoning out while you're talking and he's just tearing up and he cuts you off by tackling you with hugs (and then hurts himself).
His mouth is just watering when you would talk about how much you're going to cook for him and he also just zones out thinking about your cooking until you snap him out it.
Tumblr media
Bruce does shyly admit he watches your shows and movies in private and is amazed at your acting. He does get teased by the team on how he's finally focused on something that's not anything science or lab related. BUT, he's definitely going to debunk lots of things and gets a little exicted if you're starring in anything sci-fi...
He doesn't know rather to be confused or happy when you tell him how perfect he is for you, because he's more used to people being scared of him, and someone calling him beautiful catches him off guard. But he does give you a soft smile and has nothing else to say but thank you for everything.
He says he can't wait when you would bring up how much you're going to cook for him, and he does remind you not to push yourself to hard ('cause he's a worried Bruce).
Tumblr media
Loki is pretty protective when it comes to you being famous anyway, but doesn't really interfere with your acting career.  He's not really a big fan of movies or shows in general, but the only reason why he's watching them all of a sudden is because you're in them. Loki actually more focused on looking at your character ('cause it's you), but he still pays attention to the plot, though.
When you tell him how perfect he is for you and how beautiful he is, he's speechless and looks at you with emotional eyes. For once, he looks at you with the most soft and affectionate eyes, which a sight no one else will see but you.
He's not used to people doing things for him, so when you would bring up how much you're going to cook for him, he doesn't really know what to say, but he still stares at you with adoring eyes, and does try to hide the fact he's tearing up.
Tumblr media
Thor totally thinks your career is just amazing. But you may have to explain to him that everything that's happening isn't real because he would take it too seriously (especially if your character gets hurt).
When you tell him how perfect he is for you and how beautiful he is, he feels flattered and comments on how he doesn't deserve such praise, but thinks you do instead. But you do notice that he's really touched about it and stares at you with just, *heart eyes*.
He also loves how you would cook and spoil him, and wants to cook with you so he can learn your foreign dishes to impress you.
Tumblr media
Pietro can't sit in one place for too long, but he does have time to watch some of the shows or movies you star in. He always talks about how your character is the coolest out of the whole cast, though. Pietro does get jealous when you have all the attention, so he's definitely going to be craving all the affection you give him.
He wants to be praised and loved, especially because of his past, and when he's told that he's just perfect for you, that's all he wanted to hear before kissing you and realizing how he has what he wants.
He totally looks foward to your cooking and wants to cook with you along with showing you some Sokovian dishes.

In Case You Don’t Live Forever
~chapter five rewritten~
Pairing: Peter Parker x Venom!reader
Synopsis: you are Peters greatest love and Spider-Man’s greatest enemy
Series Masterlist
Tumblr media
“Why are you in such a mood?” Ned asked his best friend as they walked to their college campus. Peter had been grumpy all morning and Ned was quick to notice. He usually showed up at Ned’s door exhausted but eager to share the adventures from the night before, but he seemed defeated today.
“I got my ass beat last night.” Peter grumbled as he shouldered his backpack.
“By who?” Ned wondered.
“I don’t even know.” Peter sighed. “I think it was some kind of alien.”
“What’d it look like?” Ned asked. It wasn’t uncommon for Ned to ask a million questions after being told something Spider-Man related. After all, he was the guy in the chair.
“Like nothing I’ve ever seen before.” Peter said swallowed and tried to push the previous night from his mind. He’d rather focus on this morning, and the moment he had shared with you. Peter felt such a strong connection to you, and he would’ve stayed on that rooftop all day if he could.
“Describe it to me.” Ned pleaded, tearing Peter from his thoughts.
“I don’t know. It was like eight feet tall, black, and bald. And it was super veiny.” Peter grimaced while Ned’s eyes widened.
“Oh my God. You fought Shaquille O’Neal?” Ned gasped.
“Keep your voice down. I did not fight Shaquille O’Neal.” Peter whispered harshly. Ned always seemed one step away from blowing Peters cover. Peter gave bashful smiles to the passing students who gave him weird looks upon hearing Ned’s words.
“Terry Crews?” Ned continued. Peter rolled his eyes at his best friend and starting walking to class.
“No. This is serious.” Peter said, his voice heavy with annoyance.
“I know it’s serious. You got beat up by The Rock.” Ned remarked. Peter fidgeted with the strings on his backpack, still bothered knowing he was beaten so easily by Venom.
“The Rock is Samoan, not black.” Peter corrected.
“I know. But I heard “bald” and I just automatically envisioned The Rock.” Ned defended.
“There’s another thing. It had this huge, gaping mouth with rows and rows of teeth. I keep thinking about it.” Peter shivered. “It came so close to me. And its tongue was super long. It was like a cracked out frog.”
“So a ninja turtle? You got beat up by a ninja turtle?” Ned gawked.
“It wasn’t a ninja turtle.” Peter snapped. “ It was black, remember?”
“So an emo ninja turtle.” Ned deadpanned.
“It kept saying “we”. “ Peter remembered.
“What do you mean?”
“There was only one of them, but they only referred to themself as “we” as if there were multiple of them.” Peter explained.
“Do you think there could be more? Like an alien army or something?” Ned asked incredulously. Peter hadn’t even thought about that.
“Maybe. I remember something else, it’s name was Venom.” Peter recalled. He distinctly remembered those words coming out of the creatures mouth.
“Venom?” Ned repeated, clearly finding it cool.
“Yeah. And I told it my name. I used my regular voice too.” Peter realized. He usually disguised his voice when speaking, but he had been so scared that he forgot to. It haunted him knowing the creature now knew who he was and he wondered if it knew both of his identities.
“Wow. This is so cool. Not cool for you, because you might die. But this is super cool for me.” Ned smiled as he envisioned what Venom might look like.
“Thanks, ned. Actually, wait.” Peter stopped in his tracks. “One more thing happened.”
“What?” Ned whispered as they approached their class.
“Venom was about to eat me but then it started talking to itself. It sounded maybe like it was having a conversation with someone? I’m not sure, I could only hear one side of it.” Peter explained. “It put me down, well it threw me down, and let me go. But before it left, it said something about a girl. I don’t really remember. I was too focused on catching my breath.”
“Catching your breath? Were you running?”
“No. It choked me.” Peter told him as he lightly touched his neck.
“Kinky.” Ned smirked as he took a seat next to Peter in their class.
“That’s gross.” Peter stifled a laugh. “Did I tell you about this morning with Y/N?”
“No. Tell me.” Ned said. He wasn’t disappointed in the change of topic. He was glad Peter had moved on on from Liz, finally. Peter recounted the discussion he had with you that morning, barely getting through it without blushing and laughing at certain parts.
“I really like her, Ned. More than I’ve ever liked anyone. She’s so amazing. I barely know her, but I can tell already. I want to know everything about her. I want to hear her full story. And most of all, I want to be a part of that story.” Peter declared but frowned suddenly.
“What’s wrong?” Ned asked.
“After our talk, we just kinda sat there staring at each other for a while.” Peter began. “She kinda leaned in, and I did too, but then this seagull flew by and scared us half to death. We laughed about it but the moment was gone.”
“So you almost kissed her?” Ned smiled. “Why is that upsetting you?”
“Because what if that was our chance and I blew it?” Peter feared. “What if that seagull was a sign from above that I was in way over my head? Like God was asking me who I was to think I could just kiss the most perfect girl in the world? She’s so cool, Ned. Way too cool for me. She’s already had a boyfriend and I’ve never even kissed anyone.”
“If it’s meant to happen, it will happen.” Ned assured him.
“Or, the same thing that happened with Liz will happen.” Peter argued. “I won’t tell her how I feel and then she’ll be gone forever.”
“Then don’t let that happen.” Ned reasoned. “Tell Y/N how you feel. Do it tonight, before you go on patrol. And if she doesn’t feel the same, then at least you’ll know. Isn’t it better to know?”
“When did you become such a love expert?” Peter teased as the professor walked into the room.
“Since I started dating Betty. She’s opened my eyes to what love really is.” Ned shrugged. “Tell her tonight. Then tell me how it goes. I’m here for you either way.”
Peter nodded and gave Ned a thankful smile before turning his attention to the professor.
On his walk home from campus, Peter spotted you walking down the sideways. Ned’s words of encouragement rang in his ears and he made a brash decision.
“Hey, Y/N, wait up!” Peter called after you, making you turn around.
“Hey Parker. How was kindergarten?” You teased him.
“Alright alright. Majoring in chemical engineering is hardly kindergarten. And I’m only one year younger than you.” Peter reminded you. “I don’t want you to have a heart attack on me, grandma.”
“Watch it, sonny.” You kept with the joke. “I’ll hit you with my purse and then say something mildly racist.”
“Just like my grandma.” Peter laughed in amusement. “We’re gross. And not funny.”
“We really are.” You scrunched your nose. “Couple of gross ass orphans.”
Peter laughed again, feeling comfortable enough with you to joke about a tragic situation.
“Look, Y/N, I really enjoyed our talk this morning. I really enjoyed all our talks so far actually. I guess I just like talking to you. ” Peter began. He looked nervous all the sudden, like he lost his stamina. You raised your eyebrows hopefully, as there were only so many ways this conversation could go.
“I like talking to you too, Peter.” You said honestly, hoping he’d continue. Hoping he’d ask that question. Your answer seemed to give Peter the confidence he needed to go on.
“Really? Um, that’s great cause I really like talking to you too. I already said that. Oh god. I’m crashing. I-“ he began to flail and you calmed him down by taking a few steps closer. You were almost touching at that point. He stopped talking immediately and looked at you with wide eyes.
“Is there someone you wanted to ask me, Peter?” You asked slowly as you looked at him through your eyelashes.
Damn. He was tall too.
“Yes, actually. I, um, will you…would you maybe want to-“
“Hiya kids!” A gravely voice came from the front stairs of your apartment, completely cutting Peter off. Peter looked up and angrily rolled his eyes.
“Don’t look now. It’s Henry.” Peter grumbled. Henry was the creepy neighbor with the foot fetish.
“Oh Dear God.” Peter said in a low voice.
“What?” You panicked when you saw Peters expression change.
“You’re wearing flip flops.” He pointed at your black painted toes and you felt the color drain from your face.
“Run!” He whispered harshly. You bolted into your apartment and Peter ran into his. Once inside, Peter blew out an angry breath. He had been interrupted twice in one day when trying to talk to you, and he worried that it was a sign.
Back at the apartment, you sat on your bed with headphones in. You were prepping for your interview with Cletus Kasady by writing down some questions you wanted to ask him. It was hard figuring out what to ask a serial killer. You looked at your notepad and sighed. All you had written down was “but why tho?” in sloppy handwriting. You tore out the page, crumbled it up, and threw it at the trash can. When you went to write something else down, you noticed the paper ball still stuck to your hand. You shook your hand but it still wouldn’t come off.
“What the hell?” You grumbled as you shook your hand.
“Oh. This might be our fault.” Venom said suddenly.
“What might be your fault?” You asked as you continued to shake the paper off your hand, but to no avail.
“We sort of went inside Spider-Man when we were talking to him yesterday.” Venom said timidly and the paper ball dropped from your hand.
“What?” You demanded and Venom went silent.
“Come out here.” You said, like an owner to a dog.
“We’d rather stay inside.” Venom said softly.
“Get out here now. You need to explain yourself young lady.” You said sternly. Venom slowly manifested and looked at you with sad eyes.
“I’m 600 million years old, by the way.” Venom added. “You can’t call me young lady.”
“What do you mean you went inside Spider-Man?” You ignored her comment.
“When we were choking him we put one of our tendrils inside him and swirled around.” Venom explained. “He didn’t even feel it. We did though. He’s very squishy on the inside.”
“You…what?” You didn’t even know where to start. “How does that explain the paper sticking to me?”
“We think we absorbed his powers.” Venom said. “We used to watch videos of him on YouTube after you went to bed. He can stick to walls and stuff. We think that’s why the paper ball stuck to you.”
“Since when can we absorb powers?” You wondered as you looked at your hands.
“We never had a host before. We don’t really know how it works.” Venom reminded you. “But back on Klyntar, our home planet, the Grandmaster used to tell us we could absorb the powers of superhuman beings. Judging by your newfound stickiness, we think it worked.”
“What else can Spider-Man do?” You asked. “Since you’re such a big fan.”
“He can shoot webs out of his wrists. And he can return lost dogs.” Venom answered, sounding a little annoyed.
“Do you have something against Spider-Man?” You chuckled a little at her tone.
“We hate what he did last night. He thought we were the bad guy, and he let the real bad guy get away. He judged us before he had the full story. We’re not a bad guy.” Venom defended. You were surprised to hear how passionate she was about this and gave her a soft smile.
“Let’s not worry about Spider-Man right now. I want to test out our new abilities. Let’s rock and roll, baby.” You cheered, complete with rock and roll hands. The second you touched your middle finger and ring finger to your palm, a black, web-like tendril shot out from your wrist and stuck to the ceiling. You stared at the web with a gaping mouth, weakly shaking your wrist to see if it would stay attached.
It did.
“Maybe that’s one of our new abilities.” Venom said. You looked back and forth between her and the gooey web coming out of your wrist.
“Oh my God! What’s happening?” You screamed. You took your fingers off your palm and the web retracted back into your wrist. Looking at your wrist incredulously, you made the rock and roll hand again and the same web shot out from your wrist. This time, it grabbed the ceiling fan.
“V-Venom?” You asked. You didn’t know what to say.
“Try to aim it at something.” She suggested. You aimed your wrist and the lamp across the room and touched your fingers to your palm. The black web shot across the room and grabbed onto the lamp. You quickly yanked your arm back to pull the lamp towards yourself. The lamp flew across the room, smashed you in the face, and left you with a bloody nose.
“Ow.” You cried, gingerly touching your nose.
“We see this as a absolutely win.” Venom cheered. You shot her a look and went to get cleaned up.
After about a week of practice, and very little work on your questions for Cletus, you had a better handle on your webbing ability. Of course, the week also consisted of long talks with Peter on the roof, late patrols of New York, the occasional run in with a criminal, late night FaceTime calls with Peter, and beating the shit out of Spider-Man, twice. Venom eventually grew bored of using the new powers around the house, so it was time for the final test.
You stood at the rooftop ledge and looked down, talking a deep breath to calm your nerves.
“It’s a long way down.” You commented.
“Yep.” Venom replied in your head.
“We could die.” You added.
“Yep.”
“Ready?”
“We’re ready.” Venom grinned as you transformed. You stepped off the ledge and fell freely for a while, screaming the whole way down.
“Stop being a little bitch! Shoot a web!” Venom yelled. You aimed a web at a building and began to swing. You were too close to the ground and ended up knocking over a bunch of tables at an outdoor restaurant. People ran away in fear while others took out their cameras and recorded.
“We’re not here to hurt you! Peace and love!” Venom shouted as you continued to swing through the steers of New York. People began to cheer upon hearing your words.
“Do you hear that, Y/N? People are cheering. They love us.” Venom said happily.
“I love us too.” You replied. You were even happier than she was. You knew how much it hurt Venom to be seen as a monster, it was why she hated being called a parasite. You also knew it was why she hated Spider-Man. He was praised for stopping bad guys while Venom was seen as one of the bad guys he needed to stop.
“Hey, what is that thing?” A man called from the street. Venom stopped swinging and landed on the street. You proudly turned to the crowd of people, a massive grin on your face. There it was, our favorite question.
“We…are Venom.” Venom growled. People took pictures and videos of you from a distance.
“You can come closer. We won’t hurt you.” Venom assured the crowd.
“Are you like the anti Spider-Man?” Someone asked.
“Spider-Man is a joke. He can’t protect this city like we can. We are no Spider-Man. We are Venom.” Venom roared. A few people took a step back and you began to feel uneasy.
“Hey, King Kong. I want a word with you.” A sassy voice quipped from the crowd. A man in yellow sunglasses and a suit stepped forward, and you bet your ass you recognized him.
“My name is Tony Stark. Heard of me? Of course you have. Would you mind coming back to my tower with me?” He asked, but it felt more like a demand. The people in the crowd slowly dispersed and soon, you stood there alone with Tony.
“Be nice. Say yes.” You told Venom.
“Who is this guy?” She asked out loud.
“I just said my name.” Tony said, slightly annoyed.
“He’s a really famous inventor. I’ll explain later. Just follow him please.” You begged. Venom gave Tony a once over and followed him to a limo.
“Yea, you’re gonna ride up top big guy.” Tony said, patting the roof of the car.
“Girl.” Venom growled. Tony looked surprised.
“My apologies ma’am.” He raised surprised eyebrows. You rode on top of his car all the way to his tower, wondering what he could possibly want with you.
The inside of his tower was huge. Tony lead you to a lab that was bigger than yours and Peters apartments combined.
“I’ve seen videos of you on YouTube. Seems like you and Spider-Man aren’t the best of friends.” Tony remarked as he pulled out an iPad.
“We will crush his bones and snort them like cocaine.” Venom growled. Tony was just as surprised to hear that as you were.
“Now that’s a visual.” Tony smirked. “I’ll have you know, Spider-Man is a friend of mine. He’s not your biggest fan either but from what I’ve seen, you’ve done this city some good since you’ve been here. How long has that been?”
“Two weeks.” Venom answered.
“I thought so. I’d never seen you before then. And since your arrival, petty crime has dropped significantly in Queens. Criminals are too scared of getting eaten to do anything. Don’t get me wrong, I love Spider-Man and I’ll kill you if you tell him that, but no one fears him. He gets the job done, but there’s always another job to do. With you, on the other hand, your mere presence is preventing crime before it even happens.” Tony smiled to himself, like he was just given a new toy. “You’re scary, is what I’m trying to say. But you’re a good guy. It’s rare. I want it to stay that way. I want you on my team.”
“Team?”
“We’re called the Avengers. We had a bit of a falling out but the name still stands.” Tony waved his hand. “We fight bad guys together. Really, really bad guys. I think you could us some good. Plus, you’ll be taken care of for life and we’ll only call you in for serious threats. But I need a few things from you first.”
“Like what?”
“Your story.” He pointed a finger at you. “How does a giant, anthropomorphic alien wind up in New York City?”
“It’s a long story.” Venom answered.
“We can trust this man, Venom.” You told her telepathically. “I’m gonna come out okay?” Venom hesitated and Tony looked impatient to know more.
“Are you sure?” She asked you. Tony looked confused.
“Am I sure?” He pointed to himself.
“Not you.” She said. Tony looked around for who else Venom could be talking to and found no one.
“I’m sure.” You decided. “This guy is one of the good guys. We can trust him. I promise. I’m coming out.”
You slowly transformed back into yourself in front of Tonys wide eyes. Venom stayed in her snake-like form and rested on your neck.
“Hello, Mr. Stark. My name is Y/N L/N.” You shyly introduced yourself. “This is Venom. We want to help.”
Tony’s face shifted from shocked to impressed as he looked you over.
“I gotta say, I did not except someone like you to be inside that scary monster.” Tony chuckled.
“We’re not a monster, Mr. Stark. We want to help people.” You reminded him.
“I can see that.” Tony nodded. “That’s why I’ve been developing you a suit.”
“When did you do that?” You wondered. “We just met.”
“Oh, I know. I’ve been designing it while you talked. I want you to have it incase you and Venom get separated. That way, you’ll be protected until you’re back together.” Tony explained as he showed you his ipad. Sure enough, it had a drawing of a suit on it.
“I’ll get started right away. I just need a little piece of Venom. If I make the suit using her skin, you’ll have the total protection you need.” You looked at Venom for consent, who nodded and extended a tendril towards Tony. He quickly snipped a piece off and put it in a container.
“When will the suit be ready? A few months?” You asked as Tony tapped the container. Tony stopped looking at the container and laughed.
“Y/N, I’m a genius inventor. Go get lunch. It’ll be ready when you’re done.” He said.
And he wasn’t kidding. An hour and a half later, Tony presented you with a suit. You ran my fingers over it slowly, not wanted to disturb a single thing. You looked at it in awe, completely speechless at what he had created.
“Go on, try it on.” He shrugged casually. You grinned from ear to ear before rushing to the bathroom to put it on. You came out soon enough with tears in you eyes.
“You like it?” Tony asked. You looked at your covered hands in amazement. The suit was jet black, like Venom was, and hugged your body like a second skin. There was a big white spider symbol on the front, the complete opposite of Spider-Mans small black one. You figured it was a nod to being called the anti Spider-Man and it was perfect.
“Well?” Tony was still waiting for an answer. You looked up at him just as a few tears fell down you cheeks.
“We didn’t celebrate my birthday growing up because it was the anniversary of my moms death. I used to be so upset every year.” You blurted. Tony looked like he didn’t know what to say and you couldn’t blame him. That was something deeply personal and you had only just met him.
“What I’m trying to say is, I get it now.” You explained. “All those missed birthdays were for a reason. I didn’t get gifts those days because I’m getting the ultimate gift right now. This is the most amazing thing I could’ve asked for. I cannot thank you enough Mr. Stark. I’ll never take it off.”
“You can’t take it off anyway.” Tony told you. “When you don’t want to wear it, it absorbs back into your skin like Venom does. And it’s equipped with Venoms essential abilities. It’s bullet proof, knife proof, taser proof, spork proof and so on. And you can still shoot your webby things. You just won’t have super strength, super speed, or that Venus flytrap mouth of yours.”
You tested it out and shot a web towards his desk. You grabbed a pen and caught it with ease, then looked at Tony for approval.
“That’s the best I could do. It’s no Iron Man suit but it’ll suffice.” Tony said casually. You couldn’t take it anymore and rushed towards him to hug him tightly.
“Thank you.” You said into his chest. Tony patted your back awkwardly and you let go.
“It’s nothing. You can thank me by not eating Spider-Man. I know he’s annoying but he doesn’t mean any harm. Now go forth and do good.” Tony requested.
You swung back to the apartment and landed on the roof. You turned back into yourself and made your way down the steps to your floor. After this mornings conversation with Peter and the incredible suit from Mr. Stark, you were having a great day. For the first time in years, you couldn’t wait for tomorrow.

Okay, so how would yandere Peter Parker react to the reader having to go to some other country like maybe London or somewhere else for 2 weeks for a special conference thing regarding environment related stuff? I hope it wasn't too complicated TvT
Content: Female!Reader, obsessive thoughts, yandere actions, abuse of authority, obsessive actions
.
ppft what? What do you mean YOU have to go to an international conference? It's b o t h of you attending, of course! Well, Spiderman might have to do some 'convincing' for someone to put his name on the all-access attending list, but you can be sure that your ol' pal Peter is just happening to be going to the same place. And Heck, maybe to doubly impress you, Spiderman might make a special appearance in advocation for energy conservation or littering or whatever the lecture is about.
It won't take Peter long to throw together a half-assed explanation or speech for his reasoning being there. And well! Since you both are here and you know eachother, wouldn't it save money and transportation costs to room and travel together? He can pay for half of the room, so you're saving money! It's just... so scary to be so far away from home and he knows how stressful it can be and being with a familiar face might help you feel better if you get homesick.
After the first week of staying and rooming together - if he can convince you - something might happen the one moment he steps away. He says that he's just going to get a drink while there is a lull in the lecture and you remain seated for a minute but when the lecture breaks for 30 minutes you too decide to use the restroom. A big burly man grabs you as you're returning to your seat. He's grabbing onto you really tight and he's dragging you into a small hallway.
You're crying and sobbing, trying to pull his hand off of you with no luck. You are sobbing so hard it's hard to call for help, but someone must have heard you because you hear running steps on the linoleum floor. You turn to look and see your unsportsmanly, kind and weak friend Peter running down to hallway.
He's sprinting like a track star and he pulls back a fist. You're so relieved that you don't think to question how such a small guy like him had sent the guy flying like he did. At the sight of your severely bruised arm he goes for kicking the downed guy, but you're so scared you just want to get away from the knocked out beast of a man. You end up begging Peter, 'please, let's just go' 'I just wanna go home Peter, please' 'Don't leave me alone!' You beg, grabbing his wrist and trying to pull him away from the guy, scared he'll get up again. You're so cute...
Peter will just barely let you pull him back, after delivering one final ferocious kick to the guy's sternum, feeling it crack from the force. He didn't want the guy to bruise you like that. He told him to not hurt you! He didn't even want this filth to TOUCH you!
That bastard deserves this AND MORE for leaving a disgusting mark on your skin. And he will. But for now, let Peter console you, do you want to go home? Just back to the hotel room? Okay, let Peter take you~ He'll put together a comfortable pizza and movies night for you back at the hotel room, and if you just so happen to fall asleep on his shoulder so be it.
But with how much he hates the idea of having to move from your adorable and warm embrace, he has a meeting with a certain filth who's going to face punishment. And if the next day does happen to be your last day there - deciding to go home early - you won't hear about a brutal maiming down a back alley until one of your friends will show you the news article days later. But if you decide to stay, you never encounter the crime scene because Peter will redirect you elsewhere. You stick much closer to him throughout the rest of the Seminar and even for a while after you get home.
Wasn't it good that you had Peter there for you?
Who knows what would have happened if he hadn't been with you~

solare
pairing: peter b. parker x fem! cheerleader! reader
solare: an italian word to describe a person who brightens the room, who is warm, good, and cheerful; who also worries about others.
Synopsis: in which peter benjamin parker finds the personified version of warmth and happiness.
Tumblr media
Peter Parker had endured a lot throughout his life. He had lost his uncle, his life for five years, then he came back, and then lost his mentor. It was a wonder to him and everyone else that he found a way to continue pushing through and fighting the fight for good, even if he at times couldn’t exactly figure out just why he was doing an unpaying job. He would push away those thoughts and remind himself that he did it for the little guy, for the underdog, for the people like him before he got bitten. Still, there were days when the darkness would cloud over his mind, and he would spiral into sadness.
His Aunt May had suggested he go to a counselling group, someplace where he could express himself without fear of judgement or illwishers. Where he could find people he could relate to and for once have people care for him. He had dismissed that idea by claiming he didn’t have the time to do, too occupied in burying himself with his schoolwork, Spider-Man duties, and keeping up his social life. That was the end of that conversation, but he still couldn’t help but yearn for some type of way to release all the negative emotions that weighed heavily on his mind and his heart.
He had admittedly been distant from his friends and from his Aunt May, but he couldn’t find it in himself to find something to talk about. He was thrust into a world that he didn’t recognise anymore. It had been five years, and in those five years, people had grown up, and things had changed drastically. Much like the person in the mirror, he didn’t recognise his surroundings when he looked around. He could only hope he wouldn’t drown and get stuck in a flood of uncertainties, in this new time without his mentor to guide him.
He sighed through his nose as he swung around the lit city, back towards the comfort of his own bedsheets. He couldn’t wait to get lost under the sea of blankets and find comfort in the sounds of the bustling city. Spending all of his life in Queens, he grew accustomed to the yelling, the loud honking of horns, and the busy street life that now offered him solace. A haven. A source of relief he wasn’t able to find elsewhere. The confinements of his blankets and the sounds of New York gave him the ease he needed.
Assuring his aunt that he was back home and alive, he quickly slipped into his bedroom and snuggled under the covers, relieving himself of the tension he carried. His mind fell into a trance of serenity and easiness as it wandered through happy memories he savoured—recollections of his Uncle Ben, Aunt May, and himself at the beach when he was younger. Uncle Ben and him bonding over ice cream while they walked in Central Park—Peter would point out a dog in the distance, Ben would look at it and then his nephew and chuckle, promising that when they get a bigger home, they will get a dog. He reminded himself of when he helped May with the gardening; it wasn’t much gardening, just a few pots on their balcony, but it was peaceful.
His life was a routine. Every morning, he would wake up at the same time, have a quick breakfast, kiss his aunt goodbye, and the rush towards the train where he would go to school and meet Ned by his locker. The school day would cease, and he would go to decathlon practise until it was over, then make his way towards Delmar’s, which had re-opened in the five years he was blipped, and then complete the leftover homework he needed to do until he had to go on with his Spider-Man duties. It was the same, except for weekends, every day, and he was okay with that. It helped make his life easier—knowing that there were no surprises or changes in his day-to-day life made it easier for him and helped unburden him from the weight he carried with him.
The day he met Y/N had been a good day. He hadn’t missed his train that morning; Flash wasn’t up to his usual antics, choosing to ignore him and flirt with an uninterested cheerleader, and he had a good feeling about the History exam in his third period. That was until he stepped into his Physics class and was informed of the new seating chart being projected in front of the class. He and Ned had been able to bypass the seating chart for two quarters already, but they both knew their luck would fizzle out and they would have to be separated. Peter hoped he would get seated with someone he knew, so long as it wasn’t Flash. He would take being a stranger's partner over being Flash’s partner any day. Sighing in relief when he didn’t see his name next to Flash’s, he searched for him on the screen.
Peter Parker and Y/N Y/L/N, table 08.
Peter wasn’t good at making friends. He tried, but he always came off too strong or not strong enough. He was painfully awkward and stumbled over his words. He would also talk about something no one else was interested in and come off as weird and a ‘nerd’. Over time, he was able to be okay with having one friend, and just recently, his newfound group of friends. To force himself to make small talk with a new person made his stomach churn. He wished he could have May’s social skills and welcoming nature.
Exhaling to relax the nerves building in his stomach, he made his way towards the table with a paper eight taped on it. It might have been the fact that the window was right beside the table or the fact that Peter hadn’t gotten much sleep the night before, but he swore he saw a glow bouncing perfectly off the silhouette seated on the hard stool closest to the window. She was looking out the window, perfectly content on looking at the garden Midtown had decided to grow during the five years half the population was gone. It was a beautiful garden.
Shuffling on his feet, he dragged himself to the seat next to the seemingly glowing girl with intentions of sitting down without making noise, not to pull her from her gaze, but the universe had other plans. His toe met the stool’s hard metal, making the girl snap out of her daze and look at Peter with mild surprise. He was fully expecting her to lash out at him, to ask him why he needed to make so much noise, and he was fully ready to apologise. But the questioning never came, and neither did his need to apologise. Instead, he was met with a warm smile and concerned eyes.
“Are you okay? That sounded like it hurt,” she spoke with a lightness in her tone he had never heard before. New Yorker’s were usually brash and straight to the point; there was no place for airiness or lightness in voices. They didn’t care about anyone else but themselves and their loved ones. To feign importance in the busy city, one had to speak with importance. She was a breath of fresh air to him, like the feeling of the seaspray on his face when he steps into the ocean. Around her, he felt at peace.
“I-I’m Parker, no,” he stumbled over his words and mentally cursed himself, “I’m Peter.” This was the part where people would smile at him with fake sincerity, shake his hand, and make some excuse to leave. He was waiting for her to look at him with judgement and refuse to shake his hand. He wasn’t expecting her to take his hand into hers and shake it with a giggle.
“Next to meet you, Parker Peter. I’m Y/N Y/L/N,” she introduced. She drew him in by the way she stared at him, so deeply and with intrigue, and kept him wanting more of her presence in the way she spoke, with confidence but kindness. He was sure this was someone he needed in his life, someone he had to keep around. She was like the sun, and the sky rolled in one, someone he couldn’t help but stare at.
They shared shy smiles, sneaking glances now and then. Peter couldn’t focus on his teacher’s rambling, too entranced by the body sitting beside him. From the corner of his eye, he could see her scribbling in her notebook, following along with what the teacher was saying. He could see little drawings on the corner of her paper; small hearts, smiley faces, and infinity signs taking up the corner. The sight of the doodles filled his heart with warmth; they were adolescent like and riddled with innocence. They were endearing, just like her.
The class seemed to drag on, and Peter was barely able to keep up. His mind was in another world; thoughts of protecting the city after homework to what he would have for dinner. A small part was thinking of the pretty girl who doodled on the corners of her papers. She had drawn a small smiley face on his paper at one point and sent him a smile when he looked at her afterwards. She had made a long class, that usually felt like it dragged on, shorter and yearning for more time. If anything, just to sit there and be in her presence.
The bell signalled the ending of the class, and Peter slowly stood up. He packed his belongings as slowly as he could. He looked to the side; she put her books into her bag - they were all colourful and decorated with glittery and bubble stickers. He couldn’t help but smile at the sight. She sent him a smile and stood up from her chair, pushing her chair in slowly.
“Bye, Parker Peter. See you, next class,” she said sweetly with a wave and exited the class, a happy and light bounce to her step. He watched her leave. Her hair bounced and glossed under the school’s fluorescent lights, and her skirt sashayed behind her. He watched as she waved and greeted people before she disappeared from his view. He didn’t stand a chance with the pretty girl in his chemistry class.
Ned bounded towards him, talking his ear off about what his partner did and how he was so glad he had someone who wouldn’t make him do all the work. Peter, at that moment, felt like a bad friend. He wanted to listen to his best friend, keep a conversation going. But all of him kept him from doing so, instead directing his thoughts towards the popular, bubbly girl who was now surrounded by her loads of friends at her locker. Peter smiled her way, not expecting it to be returned, but to his surprise, she smiled back and raised her hand with a little wave. He took the time to peak into her locker. He could see pictures and magnets lining up the area; permeating the dull grey with life and personality. He also made out the neatly folded cheerleader uniform resting on the top shelf. Of course, he would have to start crushing on an unattainable cheerleader.
He had no choice but to settle for crushing on her and wanting her from a distance. He figured that simply being an acquaintance to her would be enough. It would be enough. Being in her life would be just fine. It was a sad thought, but it wasn’t anything he hadn’t gone through before. The thought made his heart hurt, but that was also coupled with the thoughts he had already harboured—memories of his past, he and his uncle, of Tony. Those kept him up at night and clouded his thinking whenever he swung building to building.
That night was the same; he sat on top of his apartment building, taking in the changing scenery. The lack of stars once brought him comfort, but he found recently that they brought him more pain. Normally, he loved the vastness of the wide space and how little they knew about it. He would let his imagination run wild with possibilities of everything in the unknown. When he was younger, he liked to imagine there were aliens up there, living happily without care. He would divulge in that from time to time, feeding his inner child. He loved the tenacity, the freedom, and the serenity of it all. But the same things made him feel small. It put everything into perspective. It put into perspective how small he was. Sometimes, he couldn’t help but feel as if there was no escape.
He sat on the edge of the building, taking in all the different personalities the city below him had to offer. Couples cuddled up with one another, walking into their shared homes. Families laughing with one another as they finished their night. Friends walked with one another, whispering in ears and cackling to drown the cars and taxis’ noise. That was the city he loved. The city he grew up in. But that didn’t stop him from wanting an escape. Somewhere far from the city where he could simply sit and think without the distractions. He knew that was wishful thinking, but it didn’t cost a thing to dream.
Choosing to end the night earlier than usual, he stood up from his place and swung forward. Aunt May wouldn’t be home, so dinner wouldn’t be ready until she got there. He considered going to Delmar’s; having one of his sandwiches always made him feel better. Something stopped him, though. Maybe it was the sound of a laugh, one he had heard before, or the familiar satin blue scrunchie that rested on her wrist. He watched her, talking on the phone and laughing and throwing her hands up in the air. He quickly averted his eyes, staring at her for too long was weird even if he was Spider-Man.
That night he slept better than usual. Aunt May had found him asleep on his bed with his arm hanging off the mattress, his body slanted, and his head hanging off to the side with his mouth wide open. While it was an awkward position, she was glad he was sleeping so early in the night. The years had been rough on him, pushing past his limits and stressing him beyond belief. He was overdue for a break, and a long one. But she knew her nephew; he would never take a break. The city of Queens needed him.
While he normally dreaded going to school, not because he had to pay attention, or because it was hard, but because for seven hours, the city of Queens was left defenceless and at mercy. But, this day was different. There was a spring in his step and an easy smile on his face, not even Flash’s taunting got to him. Walking into the chemistry classroom, his eyes roamed the classroom until they landed on his new table. She was already sitting there. Scribbling on her glittery notebook with a blue pen adorned with a fuzzy top.
Settling down next to her, she sent him a smile, “good morning, Mister Peter,”
He laughed, “Good morning, Miss Y/N,”
Peter was left yearning for more interactions with the gorgeous cheerleader with the fun pens, especially after she gave him a sticker with a golden retriever on it; it was an adorable puppy with its paw out and licking, what he presumed, was glass. She had told him it was because he reminded her of a puppy, most notably a golden retriever puppy. Her words had made him flush and sputter over himself, nearly causing him to injure his hand on the bunsen burner set in front of them. She giggled and gave him another sticker; it was a simple smiley face that he put on his notebook next to the golden retriever.
She had bitten the bullet one day and invited him to a football game, one against Midtown’s rival school. Peter had been to football games before, having been in marching band, but that was before he was Spider-Man. A high school football game wouldn’t fit in his schedule, but the way she asked him and looked at him with an expectant and hopeful grin had him saying yes. So, he did what any sane person would do, and said yes. She squealed and wrapped her arms around him, taking him but surprise and let go of his neck. She gave him another sticker that day, one with a teddy bear holding a red heart in its centre.
That’s how he found himself sitting in the uncomfortable metal bleachers next to Ned and MJ, who insisted on coming but wasn’t paying attention, rubbing his hands together in an attempt to block out the cold. While Ned was focused on the football game happening before them, and MJ was engrossed in her book, Peter found himself staring at the seemingly glowing cheerleader chanting out cheers and praises. He watched as she threw her pompoms up and waved them around when Midtown presumably made a touchdown and huffed in exasperation when they didn’t.
The final buzzer went off, knocking Peter from his trance. Ned and MJ were getting up from their seats and making their way down the bleachers making Peter scramble to catch up. They waited for him, rather impatiently as Ned was tapping his foot and MJ was patting her book, and he rushed towards them. He stopped when a small body in a blue and gold outfit stood in front of him, a grin on her face and her pompoms resting on her duffle bag. He locked eyes with Ned who gave him a thumbs up and pushed an unimpressed MJ away from the fence.
“Parker! You came! Did you have fun?” she asked, her words rushed and fast as she could barely contain her excitement. Peter chuckled and nodded his head, wanting nothing more than to hug her. To help her calm down, of course. She took him by surprise, a common theme, by wrapping her arms around him and snuggling into his chest. He was glad she couldn’t hear how fast his heart was beating, but it was in overdrive. He thought that his senses had dialled up to one hundred when he was bitten, but it was nothing compared to how they were at that moment. She had a control over him that he never thought anyone would have. But he was glad it was her and not anyone else.
“What d’ya say Parky? You wanna go on a stroll?” Peter looked down at her and nodded his head. He hadn’t heard a word of what she said, too distracted by her beauty and the way her arms felt around him. She was the warmth on a cold day; hot cocoa under a blanket of snow, and the sunset after a nice day on the beach. She was someone Peter wanted in his life when things got to be too difficult for him to manage, and when he was at his highest because he knew she would only send him to the moon.
He waved goodbye to Ned and MJ, Y/N did too, promising to listen to Ned’s new LEGO purchase the following Monday, and watched as MJ’s car pulled away from the curb. She took his hand into hers and dragged him towards her car. She unlocked it before motioning for him to get in, throwing her bag into the backseat and starting the engine. He couldn’t help but glance around the car. Stickers decorated the dash in front of him; he was sitting in pink seat cover with the letters ‘TPWK’ stitched on it in white, and her steering wheel was decorated with a big sunflower. It was so unapologetically her, and that made Peter smile.
In the time Y/N drove, Peter texted May and let her know he would be out late. He was met with a ‘good riddance! Stay safe :)’ in response. Peter watched the streetlights pass by as Y/N drove through the city and past city limits. For once in his life, since he was a child, he let himself be free and enjoy the scenery night brought. He was bummed that the city filled the night sky with smog because he really wanted to appreciate the beauty of the stars and the moon. He wanted to see her under the moonlight because he knew without a doubt that she looked even more gorgeous. He had been so distracted by his thoughts, that for once didn’t make him want to hide under a heap of blankets, that he hadn’t noticed she stopped the car. She hadn’t said anything; she just watched him. He was at peace, and that was all she wanted him to be.
Peter opened his eyes and looked ahead. He could see the city in the distance, the lights on in buildings, and with his super hearing, he could hear the city’s faint sounds. She cleared her throat and pointed up, her moon roof was open and exposed the glittering sky above them. He stared at it in awe. He knew they were far from the city, but he hadn’t realised how far, far was until he saw unfamiliar glistening above him. She watched him with soft eyes, smiling at his bafflement and wonder. It didn’t need to be said, but she knew he needed this moment.
In the months that followed the switching of seats in chemistry class, she noticed things about him. The bags under his eyes that covered his freckles, the tired and subtle yawns, and the rushing of homework that was due the next period. She didn’t know why he was always tired, but something in her told her it was important. The bigger part of her told her that she needed to do something for him, something to distract him and ease his mind. So, she brought him to her spot outside of the city, to do what she did best. She stared at the moon and let her mind run with what it would be like to live in space and reside on the moon.
“You see that pattern up there; I call it the Huntress,” she pointed towards Orion, “stories of the stars are always about men, and the stories about women are always depicted as helpless. It makes me feel better knowing that a woman is the hunter in the stars, even if it is just in my mind.” Peter nodded along. He wanted to hear more. So, she told him her versions on the stars. He let himself get lost in her words, inching closer towards her over the console. She paused her story and motioned up towards the moon roof. He climbed out first and helped her, the two of them settling on top of her car.
She continued her story on the twins, the two of them leaning on one another. Peter felt all his inhibitions and everything holding him back let go and get lost in the night sky. That night he didn’t think of all he lost, of everything he had endured; that night he thought of the sunshine sitting next to him and how he would be okay in the face of peril, so long as he had her by his side. His personal cheerleader. He thought of the way her lips felt on his and the giggle that erupted from her soft lips; about how they tasted like pomegranate.
In her, he found himself walking on the sun’s rays and being hugged by warmth. For once, he didn’t stare at the sun with anger; instead, he basked in her warmth because the warmth enveloped him.

Tumblr media
Somewhere in Brooklyn.
There’s a female who is taking a nap on the couch. Today’s activity kind of exhausts her because of last night and the unexpected event at the restaurant. She wants to take a nap first before having dinner. But after 10 minutes, her beautiful sleep got distracted.
“(Y/N) !!! (Y/N) !!!”
(Y/N) awakened up from her nap because of the smashing door. She rubbed her eyes with her backhand. When her eyes finally focused, she could see someone standing in front of her.
She lazily asked him, “What’s up, Bambi?”
“Don’t call me with that nickname.”
(Y/N) rolled her eyes. “Yeah, because you have grown up. But Peter Parker, in my eyes, I will always remember the boy who cried asking me for ice cream.” She put on her smirk smile, her hands moving fast to mess up his hair.
He slapped her hand that made her giggle.
“It’s not like I hate you coming to my house? But what’s wrong with that pouted face Peter?”
Peter heavily sighed; this time, he threw his body to the couch. He crossed his arms and pouted.
“Aww, ~~ What's it, partner? If you keep sighing, you will get older.”
“Urgh,” Peter rests his head on her shoulder. “When can I have a job that doesn't relate to guns?”
"You can."
Peter lifts his head to get a look at her. "How?"
"Die first."
"Thanks (Y/N)."
(Y/N) shrugged her shoulder, "You can't get rid of it. It's already in your DNA."
She pinches Peter's cheeks. "Why do you sound sarcastic today?" Usually, every time he came into her house, she could see flowers behind him. Now the background changes into grumpy Squidward.
Peter’s face still on the pillow, he grumbles, "You shouldn’t come to my work today."
"Why not? I'm worried about you."
"Pietro has been asking me about you."
"He knew I'm related to you?" (Y/N) seems surprised.
Peter nodded. "He noticed on my first day."
"He's good."
"But today…. It's not only him." Peter grumbled.
(Y/N) still impressed about Pietro’s instinct, she didn’t hear Peter grumbled since he speaks to soft "What?"
He shook his head "Nothing."
"Are you going to have a sleepover?"
Peter has been living in his place since he graduates from university. Before he said anything (Y/N), grab his hand. "Please… I'm tired eating delivery also instant mac&cheeseeeee~."
Peter shook his head; who would even think a former assassin like (Y/N) could act like a child because of food.
####
To explain the relationship between Peter and (Y/N); both are not related by blood. (Y/N) knew him because of his mother, and she met him when she was an assassin.
And a deadly one.
Why did she leave?
Because of Peter.
Something happened that made (Y/N) choose to burn everything from her past to the ground literally. She made quite a name in the underworld.
####
"Fine." He answered that made (Y/N) raised her arms to cheer.
"But only for today though, because my new housemate is coming." said Peter while he went to the fridge to get some ingredients.
(Y/N) looking at his back, the boy in front of him acts more mature than her. Time moved so fast the first time she met him; he asked her for a piggyback, cried when she didn't give him ice cream and blamed her when he's the one who broke his mother's favorite plate.
And now, he is almost taller than her, independent, better at cooking and moving out from their luxury home.
(Y/N) puts her chin on her palm. "I don't understand why you need to move out." She doesn't want to tell the truth that she misses him.
Peter already started cutting the vegetables. He had a reason why he moved out; somehow (Y/N) past will come to hunt and target her.
####
Peter knew everything about her and saw it. He could live with it, but he couldn't sleep every time he heard a gun, a sound of grunting because of the stabbing, and in the morning, he saw their house destroyed with bullet holes and destroyed furniture.
They have to move a couple of times.
He never saw any blood and dead bodies, (Y/N) top priorities were to get rid of the blood and bodies before he sees it.
Peter knew that she understood his reason why; he could see her teary eyes when he told her he wanted to move out. She felt guilty for all the things he had been going through because of her.
But it takes two to tango. Peter was the one who asked to stay beside her before she dropped him with his aunt May Parker on that day.
What (Y/N) said was right; it’s already in his DNA. Danger always follows him because of his mother.
His mother used to be an assassin like (Y/N) until she met his father. She left everything to build a family together.
But their happy life was cut short; one day, he lost his parents, and that's the first time he saw the dark side of (Y/N) and the first time he knew what revenge is.
####
"I met someone." Peter answer.
"Owww~ My brother is a man now~."
Peter looked at her through his shoulder.
She nodded her head multiple times. "I understand you need privacy."
"But use protection okay?"
"Ugh,(Y/N)!! Seriously…?"
(Y/N) laughed while putting her hands on it defensively. "Sorry, I will stop it."
After 30 minutes, both of them finally eat dinner together.
"Someone else beside Pietro also asked about you."
"Hmm."
"You knew who it was don't you?"
(Y/N) winked at him.
She knew it must be Steve because it is obvious he tries to flirt with her, and she gave him her phone number. She made a program if someone put specific keywords along with her fake name, she would get notified. (Y/N) only tell her real name to someone that she could fully trust.
She must admit he almost got her, with the help from Starks, the other genius, but she's better at hiding.-
"You planned to make him more curious about you right?"
"You're getting smarter Peter." (Y/N) want to meet Steve once again. Today the moment she saw his face, it looked like a cheesy chick flick movie.
She could replay the moment he approached her. And when he tried to be cool to say 'Hi' but failed, that was cute.
(Y/N) wasn’t planning to stay long at the restaurant today but she has to because she’s worried about Peter. Last night both of them went out to get dinner when they had back her old enemy try to target her. It failed since (Y/N) is much more powerful, but Peter’s shoulder got hit.
He said he was fine, but her heart clenched when she saw the blue bruise on his shoulder. Peter is a stubborn boy; he doesn’t want to make her worried. But she is; that’s why she chooses to stay to make sure he’s alright.
She didn’t regret staying since she met a gorgeous man today. Perhaps cupid plays its part.
Peter added, "He's a good boss, don't shock him."
"You make me look like a cold hearted bitch." (Y/N) scoffed.
Peter sighed. "The time when you were with Billy Russo?"
"It was brief, but we are cool."
"It's hard to believe when he sent his Anvil team to get you."
"Because of me, he learned that his team was weak. He even sent a letter thanking you and said let's meet again."
Peter furrowed his eyebrows and shook his head; he wishes he wishes the best for Billy.
"The time with August Walker?"
"To be fair, I betrayed him, but hey, we got a free helicopter."
"Zemo?"
"Both of us agreed to break up, and he ended up married with his true love. Happy ending."
Peter sighed "(Y/N); the reason why I'm saying this is because everytime you broke up with your boyfriend, they would come after you." The aftermath is always messy.
"I love this job, and my new friend. Please don't mess this up." He makes it clear since he liked his new workplace; the first time he came for the interview, he knew something different.
####
How Peter ended up working in Steve Rogers’s business?
Peter’s previous boss closed the restaurant to enjoy retirement with his wife. He recommended Peter to try at Rogers.
Rogers restaurant has been known as a prestigious dining place. He thought his chance was small, but it turned out he passed with flying color. Wanda was impressed by the way he could keep up with her work ethic.
After working a few days, he realized Rogers is not just a regular restaurant.
Pietro interrogated him to get some info about (Y/N), and one more obvious reason he saw a gun under Vision blazer, why would a manager own a gun? Why?
Then (Y/N) told him the truth that his boss is a famous mobster in Brooklyn.
Peter sighed when he heard that; he thought he could start living like an average person.
####
"You knew me Peter." She put down the knife and fork, then sipped a glass of red wine.
"I'll listen to you. Besides, I quite like him."
Peter widened his eyes "You mean genuine like him right? Without any agenda?"
(Y/N) nodded, "Maybe he could be your future brother in law."
Peter immediately shivered to imagine Steve became his family. "Let's not think to far (Y/N)."
Tumblr media
Unlike Peter, someone else already thinks of it.
Somewhere far away, in a secret mansion where Steve and others gathered.
Three of them sit around the table; Bucky and Sam were nervous while Steve is playing with the dagger.
Natasha is furious. "I knew someday Rumlow will make a fuss at our area and make a big mess. But what I don't understand is why I got a call from the fixer and then the interior design telling me they want an extra payment because we asked them to finish in a month?"
She already anticipated the surprise attack from Brock since he replaces Pierce. It’s nothing new for them.
She noticed that Steve doesn’t listen to her complaints "Did Brock hit Steve's head? It looks like he’s not listening to me.”
Sam bumped Bucky’s elbow to talk to his wife.
Bucky cleared his throat because his seat is near to her. He leaned closer to her ear and whispered, "Honey, Uhm… so today, something else happened."
Natasha listened what her husband whispered to her, what she hear made her gasped "Pietro!! Bring out the vodka !!" She called out their favorite bartender.
"Wake him up," Nat told her husband, her head pointed at Steve.
Bucky threw a french fries from his plate at Steve.
It hit Steve’s cheeks, successfully got his attention. He realizes Natasha sits in front of him, and Pietro serves them vodka.
Sam shook his head; he silently murmured his boss also, his best friend is in lovesick right now.
"Ooh, something to celebrate?"
"Little white wolf told me you got lovestruck today?"
Bucky’s hand covers his red cheeks when his wife mentions his nickname while Sam pretends not to hear it.
"Yes." Steve admitted.
"Congrats.” Natasha smirked while asking him, “So... she's the reason why you want our restaurant to reopen next month?"
"Correct."
"Ow, interesting."
“What makes her unusual was, she’s the only guest that didn’t run when the fight happens.” Bucky said.
“She’s the one who gave him that dagger.” Sam added.
“And, we couldn’t find anything about her even with the help from Starks.”
Bucky and Sam told her everything; they told her with excitement like they found a discovery.
Natasha was immensely impressed when she heard that “Can’t wait to meet her.”
They wish Steve could find someone that can accept who he is. In the last relation he had, they tried to change him by asking him to leave the mobster. It ended up badly, making Steve became bitter about everything.
If this woman not afraid to see what happened today, perhaps she could accept who Steve is.
"Me too." Said Steve, his lips could reach his eyes. His eyes are still looking at the dagger, thinking that he has to impress her the next time they meet.

A/N: Dum Dum dum~~~~
The female reader turned out to be a retired assassin.  At first, I want to make the reader be Peter’s godmother, but I don’t want her to be that old, so I change it to stepsister.
Thank you for all the likes, my new follower and for repost. I really appreciate it.
