as much as owen strand’s innate need to be the center of attention annoys me sometimes. other times it really is so absurd it circles around and comes back to funny. what do u mean the main plot of the episode is investigating the kidnapping of a little girl and the b plot is that owen strand cannot stop having sex with hot women and now he’s on raya. and he saves the little girl in a high speed car chase that gets him a second date.

#owen strand is a great character when they’re not trying to make him one #i think his standout episodes. ok likely thing for me to say as the resident family dynamics lover #but i think some of his best storylines r the ones he stares with gwyn + tk + robert & even mateo at this point #but alas. he must go be an fbi spy on some terrorists #i actually really liked the resolution of that airline & showing owen in situations where you understand the weight that 9/11 left him with #the crossover was also a great ep for owen imo #WHY DID OWEN SAVE THE GIRL #CARLOS SPENT THE ENTIRE EPISODE INVESTIGATING IT WAS SO UNSATISFYING #the resolution of that *storyline

and is there not just generally a certain level of decency that would make you like ease up on a person who's obviously more than a little frazzled i am sorry that i cant process all my feelings and regurgitate them to you in an easily digestible manner while im actively In a situation or have a prepared disclaimer about how im so sorry but im just overwhelmed and need you to leave me alone right now or whatever else maybe i just dont know maybe i cant tell you exactly what im feeling or need and if i have to figure it out and explain that to you my brain is going to explode. but you could read the room. is there not a point where a friend would probably just go oh okay let me not continue pushing this person let me take a moment to reflect on their state and perhaps try to ease that or at least not keep fucking pushing on it. and also maybe not choose these moments to make otherwise innocuous but contextually just kinda meanspirited jabs. ok whatever

one thing i absolutely need to see ‘til the end is for toga to never stop grieving/thinking about twice and for ochako and the others to understand it. so i’d like it if we got one final scene to wrap this tragic friendship up when toga demands for a proper burial or at least a symbolic tombstone for jin and she goes to visit him. & i’ll add – and i know this is more far fetched but a girl can hope – that everyone in the league joins her. compress and spinner shared their feelings more clearly but i think that touya and tomura did too in more subtle ways so i hope these feelings of companionship won’t be forgotten and we’ll get one last gathering after the war before they all go on with their lives.
