Poll: Which male Resident Evil character would win at Bingo?

This is poll 99 out of 100!

I've wanted to do this one for ages but kept telling myself that I shouldn't do it since it's so associated with a certain character. But honestly? It would be funny if he won... but also funny if he lost.

So... here we are.

Anyway, one Bingo card is handed out to each contestant as everyone keeps grinning at Leon. He does his best to ignore them. Luis then tells him to say the line. He ignores him. Ashley starts to beg him to say it. He ignores her. Krauser begins to threaten him to say it. He mostly ignores him. Others join in, chanting for him to say the line.

He sighs, finally relenting and whispering, "Where's everyone going? Bingo?"

There are cheers.

Once things have settled back down, some of the gang move onto new prey and try to psyche the others out... which proves a bit pointless as this is an entirely luck based game.

Anyone could be the winner so long as several small wooden balls rolling in a metal cage favor them.

The Merchant volunteers to roll the cage and call out the letter and number on each ball. The gang agrees to this but hope his accent isn't too hard to understand.

Everyone grabs their markers as the cage begins to spin...

Because people have told me they cannot always visit my request guidelines page, here's the guidelines in a post. I should've done it this way in the first place, really. Contains what I will and will not write, and which characters I'll write for.

Things I will write;  💙 Headcanons for Resident Evil characters. Please specifiy which characters you want to read and the type of headcanons. Could be dating HCs, friendship HCs, HCs about their pasts, their hobbies, their current lives, whatever. Very specific requests are more than welcome. I will do up to four characters per post. (Here’s an example of a HC post.)

💙 Reader insert fics. One-shots only. Feel free to send me a character and a writing prompt. It could be a conversation starter, a random word or just an idea. If you don’t specify your desired pronouns, I will likely go for they/them.  (Here’s an example.)

💙 Friendship fics. Send me two or three characters and a setting or a prompt, and I’ll see if I can turn it into a friendship fic.  (Here’s an example of a friendship fic.)

Now for the things I will not write for a request;

❌ Character x Character romance. I have too many pairings I dislike, so I’m not going to chance disappointing people by turning them down because I don’t like a ship. 

❌ Smut/NSFW. I can do some romance, but smut isn’t happening again.  ❌ Anything along the lines of incest, abuse, underage relationships, discrimination and so on. 

❌ Anything to do with pregnancy. I did it once, I’m not doing it again.

If a request makes me uncomfortable or if I really don’t know what to do with it, I won’t write it. I’m sorry. You can always request something different instead.

~Behind The Stories~

The Blood In My Veins [Charles Vane] 

This is my longest and very first fan fiction I ever wrote. Watching Black Sails instantly made me fall in love with the story and aesthetic and once I tried to search up stories and fan art, it was quickly noticable the writing and creative side of the fandom was very small and even partly dying. Since I’ve always wanted to write and share my creativity with people across the world, but never had the courage to do it, I finally began writing something. I think the most fun was that I wrote all 65 chapters without anything in mind. All I had created was an OC [Naida Jones] and I just went with what came up in my mind while I was typing it. 

Under The Influence  [Erik Killmonger]

If I had to choose one of my most passionate and sexual stories, this might just be the one. It’s one of the first fics where I started to experiment with new writing styles and the story was honestly more smut than actual plot at first, but along the way of coming up with the more detailed story I partly changed that. 

Iubirea Lui Pierdută  [Karl Heisenberg]

This is the only fan fiction I wrote with a solid story in mind from the beginning. I knew how it started and how it was going to end. This story also took me the most research and was the first story I wrote in third person. I had to figure out how to create Zuriñe’s abilities as real and believable as possible and also I wanted it to be able to fit with Heisenberg’s abilities so she could help him in his factory. The funny thing is is that even if it is one of my best stories, it’s one of my least popular once too.

You know honestly I made this post initially as a joke/naïve theory but now that I've been thinking about it, it's not technically far off. I even wrote it into my fic because like. Luis was always sneaking around, trying to survive. He'd want materials stored in places, in case he ever got cornered in a bad spot. The villagers don't seem to attack inanimate objects, only using some as weapons, and they don't seem to have the cognition anymore to figure there'd be items hidden inside boxes, especially if they didn't put the items there themselves.

Also ever since I first watched a playthrough of the og Re4, I always wondered why the currency used was pesetas, when those had been replaced by euros in Spain as the official currency January 1st 2002 - after a 3 year transitional period - and ceased being legal tender by Feb 28th 2002 [^1]. Back then with the og Re4, it could've been a lack of research, but the fact that they kept it makes it seem like more of a narrative choice, in which I'd think "maybe the villagers still use pesetas within the village, because this is a cult after all and cults control the population with isolation from society" which makes sense. But also, the only way Leon gets pesetas is by the crates and selling to the merchant (also by looting people/monsters he killed, but that's irrelevant to my point). So it'd also make sense if Luis had been saving pesetas for a loooong time, storing them places for safe keeping because he never knew when/if he'd get captured and all his possessions taken. I mean he had a fucking lab, full of tech and equipment that could remove the plaga. He had to have access to lots of materials.

Which also brings up the point of the merchant. Was he a villager who had made a business for himself amidst the plaga takeover? Was he just a passerby, a travelling merchant who just so happened to take up shop in the middle of a plague at the same time Leon happened to be passing by? A secret third thing? Who knows. But either way, it seems the merchant has substantial knowledge of the goings on in the village - especially considering his 'merchant requests'. And if he deals in pesetas, and also happens to supply Leon with the exact weapons for which ammo is stored throughout the village in the crates, it's very possible the merchant has been here for a long time, and more than likely would've done trades with Luis.

You know it could go any number of ways, but my point is that Luis placing crates full of supplies everywhere - and also marking them with yellow so he knows which crates are his - is entirely possible.

Well, it's been a couple days and the last of the men are finally waking up from the dual Halloween parties. Most are hungover from either alcohol or sugar... or both.

And needless to say, but the place is a mess and desperately needs to be cleaned.

The group figures the task is probably a six man job...

OR...

They could also just pawn it off on one person.

Seeing this as the most reasonable thing to do, they start taking a vote. Some argue that whoever made most of the mess should clean it while others insist that the least impaired person should do it since they'd likely do a better job...

Anyway, the rain is finally letting up and the men start to discuss what activities they could do next time they get stuck inside during a storm.

One suggests starting a knitting group. Some of the men seem interested but some seem less enthusiastic about it.

Poll: Which FOUR male Resident Evil characters can make the most intricate crop circle?

Crop circles? Aren't those weird swirling symbols pressed into crops made by aliens? I hear some of you asking.

While I'm not gonna argue over their supposed extraterrestrial origin, all I'm going to say is that there are people who make these as an artistic hobby/pranks. Got it? Good.

Anyway, after spending a long night waiting for Leon and Ethan to leave the corn maze, the gang decides to do something else out in the fields instead of just heading home and wasting the day.

After a while, Helena points to a nearby wheat field and jokes about making crop circles. Just as Piers asks her how to even do that, an old farmer casually walks out of the corn maze, startling everyone before explaining that all you really need is a length of rope tied to both ends of a piece of wood that you would use to stamp down the wheat. Assuming you had a good enough plan for your design, it could look quite convincing.

And with that, the old farmer nodded and walked back into the corn maze, never to be seen again.

The gang looks around, spying a convenient stack of wood and rope nearby. Figuring they could cover more ground in groups, they split off into teams of four.

And please welcome William and Parker who will be filling in for Steve and Ethan while those two are on vacation.
