Thursday's child has far to go

Monday's child is fair of face, Tuesday's child is full of grace. Wednesday's child is full of woe, Thursday's child has far to go. Friday's child is loving and giving, Saturday's child works hard for a living. But the child that is born on Sabbath day, Is bonny and blithe, good and gay.

I was thinking about Cas, angel of thursday, and this poem because the Adams family has their corner of my brain. Anyways, not the point. Point it "Thursday's child has far to go" and if we apply that to Cas that's heavy... not only does he have to cover a lot of distance, flying into hell to save Dean, get him out, play errand boy for the Winchesters, but he also falls, (falls in love with Dean,) falls out of heaven's favour, into human life, into the empty like 12 times (i didn't count, i just think it'd be realistic for the show to attempt to kill Cas so frequently), was cast into purgatory, had to learn to drive... but his physical journey aside he also has a massive emotional journey and character arc. He had far to go since season 4 and yes, i'm still salty he got killed off and then post revival never got back on screen, he had a long journey, he deserved a happy ending.

Hellers deluded themselves and each other when it came to how 'important' destiel was to the show and how that ship would be 'endgame'.

in a perfect world 15x19 is the last episode of supernatural and right before the credits roll we see castiel waking up in a field chuckling softly and looking up to the sky saying "jack..." mirroring jack doing something similar at the beginning of the episode before it fades to black giving us to understand that while sam and dean are driving to who knows where they will meet with cas again

if the spn writers were just a little more self aware they could’ve made the most horrific meta-dooming-narrative story for jack literally being weaponized as a plot device Everyman–Mirror-Foil who suffers exclusively for plot advancement and has no autonomy outside of plot relevance to everyone except yockey + bobo and also the way that jacks personal fear of only being loved for being useful ironically ends up reflecting in how the fandom treats him but this banks on the writers being self aware and also caring about jack on the same level as yockey and bobo so every day I have to cut my losses about everything and pretend I’m not eternally bitter about it all

and that sure isn't as poetic to wrap up with a conclusion about how they couldn't be together despite all attempts because some guy in a suit was not interested in the Gay Destiel Bucks he coulda made nasty gross cooties on that cash so he can't roll on it is in his cave of CW money

The CW has aired a lot of gay/lesbian weddings, but they refused to 'allow' destiel for ReASoNs. Yeah, hellers. THAT's why Dean and Cass never kissed.
