my snowflake opinion is that subtitles should always be on by default, and their incorporation should be considered an essential part of the design process tbh

you can see that the script originally had ford building an anti-gravity machine for the science fair (which i guess acts as foreshadowing to the portal?), but the sun lightbulb feels like it would've connected to the opening of stanchurian candidate....

#it probably would've made stan's issues in that ep hit even harder but honestly its not very visually... distinct? impressive? idk #the perpetual motion machine kinda looks like a triangle and probably seems more useful and impressive in comparison tho #and yes footbot is literally a football ducttaped to a toaster #ford pines #stanford pines #stan pines #stanley pines #i do kinda like this version of stan goofing off in class #altho them switching glasses wouldn't work as well with the teen stan design we ended up getting #even still i think briefly showing them doing any type of twin switches is kinda important #with some fans ending up doubting that theyre identical twins lol #but i feel like the scene we got of ford letting him cheat is kinda important to show too #he ain't uptight about rules!!! he didn't mind helping his brother!!!#also its fun that stan likes doing shadow puppets too when he said that ford is super good at them #messy hair stan my beloved

#rambling on what i dont like i hate the red and pink they picked bc they dont look nice together at all #the pink is very cool toned and the red is orangey-warm toned so it clashes like a mf #the headband is like.. too tall and they use the xoxo candy hearts a little too much as a motif #no gradient on the arms same issue i have with lagoona and twyla #the silhouette is so same-y with the puffy tutu dress i wish it was like poofy from the top like the neckline not from the hips #that being said: i adore the hair and the bone wings and leg tattoos and bloomers shape under the skirt and sleeves #to even out the colors i made the bone skin more warm yellow/orange to match with the gold #and i made the pinks more warm and reddish and the reds more cool and pinkish #i wish the bone elemental thing was more of a feature bc the wings are so fucking cool thats why i gave her black sclera on the eyes #i dont know why i made her ears like feathery i just thought it looked cool #whatever i need her irl to customize but i have no money and mattels been even shitter than usual last few months so 💔#im stealing her design she's mine now 👍#my art 🎨#cupid asteria #ca cupid #c.a. cupid #monster high #mh #monster high redesign #ibispaint x

Dude I need claws SO bad. Except I need prosthetics to be really sturdy, so I can actually like. Use them for shit. Like I wanna be able to wear them to help me climb or claw at stuff or whatever I need them for. But people only make like plastic or foam or resin claws. It's not STRONG enough. I need like. IRON claws. STEEL claws. Claws I can climb trees and rock faces with. Claws that could kill a man if I wanted them to. It's a fucking TRAGEDY these aren't a thing, and I swear to God I'm about to learn metalworking just so I can make myself a suitable set.

Edit: someone actually made me some 👀 he's open for commission if anyone wants their own set. Check the RBs for my post !!

#i saw ONE set of metal clawrings online ONCE. except they aren't made by the company anymore and when i asked them about it they only had-#-like four individual rings in the back #INCREDIBLY sad about that actually #anyway. i need to work on my plans for these claws. if i do i'll post them #i'd like them to be long and sharp (obviously)#and be situated in a way where they won't come off. either under the first phalange or at the base of the finger so i can grip them #and a groove to slot my finger into so it's comfy and doesn't dig into my skin or nails. this is important because i have sensory issues-#-with my nails #and then from there... idk just a nice ring design that'll stay comfy through all uses #and have the metal be sturdy enough to. one. not bend. and two. not break.#bonus points if i allow space to sharpen the clawtips ofc #augh #anyway #dragonfire.#whispers.#dragonkin #nonhuman #otherkin #dragon therian
