That's it. I get why I feel Vash killing Legato hits harder in the manga than it does in the 98's anime.

When Vash pulls the trigger he doesn't just break his vow of non-killing to his mother but he also has to accept the death of Rem and Wolfwood at the same time.

When he kills Legato, it's the moment he let them go.

One of the saddest and most haunting things about the RDR2 epilogue is going back to the abandoned camp locations and John hearing the voices of his passed friends. You can tell just how much those people meant to him, especially Arthur.

I think Usopp should beat up Sanji, just once, maybe friendly sparring to improve Usopp's close range. And Usopp puts Sanji in a grapple and ends up straddling him and Sanji is weirdly into it, like way too into it. And this is pre relationship, so he can't exactly just topple Ussop over and kiss him but boy he wants to, and makes it way too obvious that he is into it. Meanwhile Usopp is so taken by the high of "beating" Sanji, wiggling and dancing in Sanji's lap and singing silly songs about him being the best, he doesn't notice Sanji staring up at him with stars in his eyes, ready to pounce on him like a starving man who just saw a banquet. Sanji is having a sexuality crisis, an identity crisis and is despairing because he needs to get the horny under control, he can't handle drooling over Usopp like he does Nami, it would be over for him and his dignity. Anyway, he ends up throwing Usopp off of him and running off to go have a big "thinking" session in the kitchen and Usopp is left staring after him confused and annoyed.

Neither of them noticed Zoro in the corner of the gym room watching them, pausing mid workout, because the mess was too entertaining to ignore. He has a gossip session with the rest of the crew afterwards and Nami hits him on the head because he was the last person to figure this out, even Chopper figured out Sanji's crush before him.

THIS IS SO FUNNY SLKEFDNSLNFLKSDFN Okay, so I can totally Sanji and Usopp training together, friendly sparring or whatever. And Sanji just- Fucking losing it. Because. Like. Same, bestie, have you seen Usopp??? Anyway- I can totally see this happening and Sanji having the biggest gay crisis while Usopp has no idea what's going on and thinks that he actually hurt Sanji's pride by winning or something. I think Sanji would panic so much in the kitchen. What would be even funnier would be Robin being in the kitchen already and asking, with an I-know-what's-going-on-I-always-do smile, what's wrong. Sanji panics even more.

Usopp has no idea what just happened but he at least won and he couldn't be happier. He's just a bit worried he might have actually hurt Sanji or something.

I also imagine Zoro being a fucking tease and being extremely proud for knowing Curly has a crush on Usopp, but when he tells the others, everyone's like: Uh, yeah, it's obvious. Didn't you know already? This has been going on for AGES.

And Zoro's extremely offended and looks at Luffy saying: YOU KNEW????

Luffy: Everybody knows! Zoro's the last one to find out!

Zoro: And why didn't you tell me??

Luffy: Didn't ask. And I don't care about this. Well- If it was a problem, I'd care. But they'll figure it out on their own someday! :D

Zoro has never been more embarrassed and stressed. Somebody save him.

JEGULUS ONESHOT TO START OFF THE NEW YEAR (i know it's the 8th shut up)

Both being purebloods, James and Regulus had both learnt to ballroom dance at a young age. Regulus' parents had been far more strict on it, sure, but James still knew the rules and the steps, and they both found it so much fun to do together, and it always felt so romantic and intimate, and neither one of them could help softly smiling as they led each other around the room with graceful spins and slow turns. So, they made a promise to each other, that despite there being no special occasion, they would go and dance together in the room of requirement every Saturday evening.

And this promise held true. At least it did until that dreadful day in 1978, after Regulus had come of age and returned to his family home at Christmas break.

"James, please, you don't-"

"I understand just fine, Black. I thought you weren't like them, I thought you were more like Sirius, but clearly I was wrong." 

Black. Regulus' heart shattered into a million pieces, and he tried to hold on to the tears forming in his eyes.

"My parents, James, they- I don't know what to tell you." 

Regulus felt James' eyes on him as he sheepishly fumbled with his sleeve to cover his wrist back up, not being able to bear that dreadful thing staring back at him any longer.

"Well maybe you should've thought about that before you took the mark, Regulus. I can't- I don't get why you did it." 

Regulus could see tears forming in James' eyes now, too, and the other boy stayed standing as Regulus sat on a nearby sofa and held his head in his hands.

"I don't either, James, just- just please, please understand it wasn't my choice. Please I- I need you." Regulus just managed to choke those last few words up before the tears started to silently fall from his eyes, his face still hidden from James' view. 

"I can't, I'm sorry, Reg." And with that, Regulus heard footsteps retreating and the door opening and closing again. James had left. He had messed this up for good.

And so, Regulus stayed in the room of requirement that night, alone. Thinking over what else he could've done to maybe, just maybe, have gotten James to stay with him, the only words he muttered to himself that night being in his native French. "Je veux juste une dernière danse.".

Little did Regulus know, when James got back up to his dorm that night, he immediately retreated to his bed, shutting the curtains and casting a silencing spell. James began sobbing, where none of his friends could hear him, thinking over what he could've done to have helped Regulus, feeling terrible for leaving him in the room of requirement. The only words James said before falling sleep were about Regulus. "I just want one last dance.".

It was mentioned a lot yesterday, and I will repeat it today, but it is really melancholic how Jonathan's entries are so short now when at the start of the book he mentioned all of the little things that he found interesting.

The food that he ate, the landscapes, stuff that reminded him of home, the languages that he heard, everything that he collected for Mina, all of that doesn't matter anymore.

And I don't blame him at all for it. Even if the short entries leave a sad feeling behind them, Mina is still sleeping through all of the journey, and she is only waking up via hypnosis to tell where is the count, so Jonathan can't even talk to her. Of course she would be Jonathan's first priority now considering what happened. It must be really painful for him to not tell her what happens, so if he can't tell her then it's not important.

It is just sad how Jonathan doesn't appreciate those little moments of beauty that we can find through life, the count really took every ounce of happiness from him.

Maybe Jade stopped using reminders on her fingers not because she could keep track of things easier, but because the game narrowed her options so much and made her world so small that there was nothing to be reminded of by the end of it

It's the fact that Lily's death is what creates the horcrux in Harry that is really sick but also ironic. Her death is what creates the horcrux and it is also her death what protects him from Voldemort.
