Mob Psycho Au for Half Upon a Time/Once Upon Another Time trilogies! Explanations and rambles under the cut

Jill as Reigen and Jin as Mob because Jill is just as resourceful and cunning as Reigen and would definitely be a conwoman lol. Jin is nothing like Mob tho (except for the whole "power of god inside an adolescent boy" thing they both have going on lol) but the Mob and Reigen dynamic is how I see the Jill and Jin dynamic

The Spark as Dimple just bc of how The Spark was like when Jin had absorbed it in the first book and kept telling him he should use his powers for himself and destroy everyone. Also i did not mean to make it look like a cockatiel LSDKFJLSKDFJ

Lena as Tsubomi bc I see them both as aroace (tho that's only canon for Lena lol) and also Lena is also like Tsubomi where she's confident in who she is and doesn't like to conform to others around her. also because Jin canonically has a crush on her like Mob does with Tsubomi lol

Shefin as Teru because honestly he acts like he's the most important person in the world but I thought it'd be hilarious to keep him at his canon height in the books of 6 inches tall. He tries to kick Jin's ass as if Jin couldn't just beat him by stepping on him lmao

May as Shou and Eudora/The Evil Queen as Toichirou bc evil older family member who tries to take over the world with army of followers she managed to get on her side. However because May is Shou while Jill is Reigen, i literally have no idea where to put Jack in this AU lmao

Case:

Lian Li PC V600, left side mount, released in 2006, I acquired it in 2015 from PC Recycle in sodo Seattle.

I had to track down a new foot, one had been missing since I acquired the case (ebay)

Mods:These are the case mods I did personally

Cut a hole for the cpu mounts in the Motherboard mount plate as this case was designed for older hardware 

Cut two 120mm blowholes and added aluminum covers (Dremel)

Cut Front and rear windows into side panels (Dremel Max)

Moved PSU from vertical placement in the lower right side of the case in front of the CPU  to horizontal placement in the top left in old drive bays. 

The PSU bracket had to be cut to show the OLED on the side. 

Modded the side panel rail slide to accommodate the PSU, I used the original aluminum stand the psu was on, cut in half and epoxied with JB weld. 

Changed and moved Power/ Reset switch to the back of the case, shortened and spliced the cable

I cut and bent my own 14mm acrylic tubes (hobby miter, heat gun). 

Cut and made two way mirror for the front panel

Plastic "truss" is both functional and aesthetic. It came from a Gunpla accessory kit and has two cables passing through it and it acts as the GPU support. I could only get red and had to paint it.

Notice that some logos are missing/ covered, I dislike having a case as an advertisement. The Rog eye on the PSU is mostly covered but iykyk, most of the word "Intel" on the ARC GPU, Two of the Thermaltake logos on the fan edges, the Paint on the Thermaltake Mx2 Ultra and Maxsun terminator heatsink. (I will eventually cover the visible SSD with a heat sink, cover the fan info on the rear and work a cover for the word "dominator"). the one logo explicitly unchanged is the LianLi case badge, if I think of a perfect replacement, maybe then.

Mod I did not do:

I did NOT shorten and sleeve my own cables, I used cable-mod.com. I am not confident in my ability to do this.

BAR:

"Bar Tiny" Re-ment sets from Japan, 17 sets involved. 

 I customized the color of the bar and chairs and shortened one table for the mezzanine. The whole bar, minus barback- is on a removable 7 inch piece of black acrylic for cleaning.

Problems and changes:

1. ARGB, pretty pretty pain in the ass. 4 pieces of software........

2. The water loop was changed extensively as hardware came in and space limitations were discovered. The biggest change is that I originally planned to have one radiator on the front of the case, the tubes running over Jills head and to light the tubes as lighting for the bar, to do this the fan would have been in the case proper pushing the whole bar to far into the mobo, it didn't work, so the loop was moved to the top of the case and caused me to have one complex bent tube 

 Second, I had planned the loop to use one sideport on the distro, but space limitation moved both ports to the top causing the complex fittings setup in that corner.   

3. The MOBO, sigh. This has been clearly the most challenging choice I made in this build, I really wanted it to work perfectly too, but I rolled those dice because: Aesthetic+function, the board I wanted (https://en.colorful.cn/en/home/product?mid=84&id=400d19bc-5655-49e1-b391-df00b60935ef) was to great a risk for the cost. This was a silver medal. 

I generally dislike the design options I had in the Z790 series of the big board makers (I  HATE big logos), especially the full ATX, there was one M that interested me, I should have picked it . This board has potential, but the BIOS is underdeveloped and compatibility has been problematic, I had to do a tricky outdated style BIOS update right from the box, and have had to reset the cmos a couple times. It skips BIOS on general boot and though stable, it will have to be addressed eventually, it doesn't have a proper sleep because of some issue between uefi & legacy. It may end up replaced, which will require a full build teardown.

the Turbo fan built into the board doesn't seem to function

Alos, the two argb connections on the mobo dont work, or I can't get them to recognize anything, necessitating the Coolermaster controller for the PSU and Distro. it is shoved behind the distro along with a Noctua 40mm

And then I have some ME characters coming Stars are Other Suns and they all are OC's so the names will likely mean nothing to everyone except for the first one for those that have read the story: Admiral Lorelai Wilde, Commander Eneki Wooddell, Admiral Ade Detmer, Admiral Raleigh Frost, Captain Jett Cruz.

I have way more names for both stories for side characters of various degrees (who may become main characters in the future, who the hell knows what will happen??) because I can't not flesh out entire crew rosters for the various ships, even if they are mentioned only in passing, because what if one day that ship and her crew come back to the story?? I have my own internal wiki and family trees for my stories. I am maybe a little insane.

“Turian brandy?” Anderson offers once they’re in his cabin. Nihlus sits down on the sofa, legs jutting out at odd angles. Furniture is never as universal as it should be. “Please.” They sit and drink in silence for a few minutes. It gives Anderson time to think, maybe time he doesn’t need to think, because his thoughts are drawn to twenty years ago when he was the top of the shortlist and he was assigned a turian Spectre to oversee his abilities, who’d go with him on missions. Determine if he could make the cut. Obviously, he hadn’t. Now Shepard is top of the shortlist and damned if Anderson doesn’t want to protect her in ways he was never protected. Of course, no one knew what to expect, then. They had ideas, but nothing concrete. So far, Nihlus is nothing like Saren was. Of course, pinning it all on Saren isn’t exactly fair. Anderson is the one who abandoned the mission, because Kahlee was involved. And he liked her. Maybe loved her, already. He’s had a long time to think about everything he did that mission, and while he’s not bitter anymore like he used to be, and while he still feels Saren has it out for humanity, bottom line is when push came to shove, Anderson went for the girl. Shepard won’t. He only knows this because she didn’t on Elysium. She didn’t even have an assigned mission at the time. No orders. Just a marine on shore leave with her girl and the slavers chose that day to hit Elysium and ran into the implacable wall that was Shepard — and failed. Not one batarian made it past whatever line she drew, and she was always redrawing that line, claiming more territory. Anderson had been so fucking impressed when she calmly presented the situation, still in her civvies, covered in blood, smoke and dirt, ruined sniper strapped to her back and a borrowed pistol flashing a low ammo block warning. She wasn’t the highest ranking marine on the ground. Hell, she wasn’t even assigned to Elysium, though everyone wanted her to be after that. But everyone on the ground who’d survived that day answered to her. And after it was all done, then — and only then — did she go looking for her girl. Anderson was there for that, too.

Mes notes m’ont déjà été confisquées deux fois : à la bibliothèque d’Eyida, et à la cité des Pluies. J’ignore ce que deviendront celles-ci, si je pourrai les continuer ou même les conserver, mais je tiens à compiler le plus de détails possibles dans un souci de vérité historique. Nous vivons des événements sans précédent (note : à vérifier...), il serait injuste que leur souvenir tombe dans l’oubli, ou pire, soit dénaturé dans le sens de nos adversaires. J’écris ceci chez notre hôte d’un soir, dont je tairai le nom tant que l’invasion sera en cours, au cas où ces notes me seraient prises également.

Je vais m’efforcer de relater notre fuite des plaines Srelaad, jusqu’aux forêts /////. Pour transmettre, et aussi pour chasser le stress par l’écriture, il faut savoir être honnête.

Nous étions neuf, transportés et malmenés par la créature. Comment l’appeler ? Dama végétal géant ? Une sorte d’invocation, de golem, constitué de plantes disproportionnées, habitées par l’énergie transmise par Julianne ? Je me contenterai de le nommer “le dama géant” (je tiens à préciser “géant” : les damas ordinaires tiennent dans le creux des mains, aucune comparaison possible avec le monstre qui nous a transportés à dix mètres du sol). Étaient présents : les jumeaux Julianne et Yann Eorseilh, Roxanne Hays, Cassandre Kuparinen, Bao-Beï Ma, Magali Emoryn, Kaïla Allensem, Jill Valsëda (moi-même), et, comme nous l’apprendrions plus tard, Sven Ledoj en lieu et place de Sandra Emoryn.

Je vois déjà que mon récit risque de durer, or le temps me manque. Il faut résumer tout en restant exact et précis. Voyons : de Srelaad à ///// (env. ///// km, je ne dispose pas de nos coordonnées exactes), le dama géant fonça à pleine vitesse. Nous n’avons pas été poursuivis, les Azriliens de Srelaad étant dépourvus de force aérienne à ce moment-là. Aucun doute cependant, ils remonteront aisément notre piste. "Course folle" me semble le plus indiqué pour qualifier notre voyage. Tandis que le dama géant se ruait dans la campagne, nous y étions désespérément agrippés, nos jointures blanchies à force de crispation. Julianne avait eu la présence d’esprit de nous lier à la créature, mais de façon insuffisante malheureusement. Paralysés à l’idée de tomber “en marche", aveuglés par le vent glacé, assourdis par le fracas de chaque terrible pas du monstre, trempés, meurtris pour divers motifs, nous avions tous perdu la notion du temps. Et du lieu. Au crépuscule, les collines succédèrent aux plaines Srelaad, et ceux d’entre nous qui se risquèrent à ouvrir un œil aperçurent les abords des forêts /////.

Le dama géant s’y enfonça résolument, mené par Julianne (ou l’inverse ?). Les premiers arbres firent à peine frémir la créature, et le fouet des branchages s’ajouta à nos problèmes. À mesure que la végétation se densifiait, la course folle ralentit. Enfin, notre improbable moyen de locomotion s’arrêta, incapable de progresser plus avant.

Tendus à l’extrême, en silence, nous sommes restés cramponnés de toutes nos forces pendant un temps interminable. Je me sentais malade à la seule idée que la chose puisse bouger à nouveau, même légèrement. Une voix fluette monta, que j’attribuai d’abord à Bao-Beï, mais je constatai qu’elle était toujours inconsciente, dans les bras de Cassandre. Magali eut le courage d’exprimer la question qui nous hantait tous - "C'est fini ?"

En avant de la créature, Julianne expira lentement, et je m’arc-boutais avec peine pour la voir, car je restais entravée par les lianes. Il me sembla qu’elle desserrait un à un ses doigts, sans doute engourdis comme les miens. Elle acquiesça d’une voix tremblante, les yeux fermement clos.

Un court instant, elle ouvrit les yeux, pour les refermer aussitôt. Ses mains se crispèrent à nouveau. Le vertige. Juste derrière elle, son frère entravé tenta une parole apaisante. À la question de savoir si nous pouvions descendre du dama géant (et en finir avec ce cauchemar), Julianne hésita un instant puis amorça une réponse, mais s’interrompit au milieu de sa phrase. Je soupçonnai une conversation mentale avec son Écho (note : essayer d’en apprendre davantage). Notre amie se détendit légèrement, et entreprit de nous faire descendre. Lentement, sans à-coups, le monstre végétal plia les pattes, s’affaissa. Ses branches inférieures s’enracinèrent profondément (nous l’avons vérifié), faisant descendre encore l’ensemble. Finalement, nous nous trouvâmes à "seulement" quatre mètres de hauteur, avec de solides appuis pour regagner le sol. Une fois notre groupe sur la mousse forestière, Julianne se tourna face à ce qui n'était désormais qu’un gros tas de branches. En gestes lents, elle s’appliqua à les modeler à nouveau, et bientôt un grand abri feuillu nous entourait de toutes parts. L’endroit se fondait plutôt bien dans la forêt environnante. La lumière du soir y filtrait à peine, et les sons étaient étouffés.

Je dois m’interrompre. Ceci tient finalement plus du journal personnel que du récit historique : trop de charge émotionnelle. Quelle piètre historienne je fais...

Une petite explication : N.A.T. va changer de format à partir de ce chapitre. On va rester majoritairement sur de la BD, avec parfois des passages sous forme de texte (illustré ou non). La raison principale : certaines choses que je tiens vraiment à raconter seraient si longues à transcrire en bande dessinée... Et je veux terminer N.A.T. avant l’âge de la retraite :p. Plutôt que me contenter de blocs de texte, je vais tenter différentes approches, histoire de jouer avec les mises en forme (cette histoire est depuis le début un formidable terrain d’expérimentation). Des extraits de journaux, de manuels d’Histoire, des flyers de propagande, et qui sait quoi d’autre ?

Filio Restaurant & Catering

Finally another new place that I can blog about, since these few days we've been eating only at familiar areas. Without further ado, let's get started with Filio Restaurant and Catering!

Location: Gadong Central, closer towards the Menglait area

Heard that this is a famous Filipino restaurant that decided to try its luck and branch out into Brunei, so definitely wanna give this a good try.

Setting: Nice, simple and clean, with apparently upstairs dining probably for social events

We ate together with my buddy's colleague (whom we've eaten before together at Lian Fu Restaurant and Catering (that exotic meat place) and these are what we ordered:

My root beer drink

Fish and chips, Filipino style

Very interesting presentation, though it's like the smallest fish and chips I've ever seen. It was served mostly as an appetizer rather than an actual meal, and the chips were literally chips, as in the chips you get when you're buying junk food like Pringles and Jack & Jill's. Very crunchy and fine. They must've put a lot of effort into it.

Sizzling sisig

Basically a beef dish served together with rice. The smell is amazing and the meat is cooked perfectly. Juicy, tender and steaming piping hot, best combination of taste ever.

Kare-kare

Basically another beef with innards and veggies served with rice and tons of peanut sauce (not for those with peanut allergies, mind you). The peanut sauce is very rich and thick, and compliments very well with the broiled beef, and the veggies are relatively fresh, although I don't really like the eggplants. Not a big fan of eggplants in general actually, but if I have to eat it, then I would.

Beef tapa

Rice with beef slices and sweet radish slices with a sunny side up egg. I didn't actually try the beef, since I had a lot for myself to go around, but I definitely liked the sweet radish slices there. Very sweet and savoury.

Crab fooyong

Extra side-dish of scrambled eggs cooked with real crab meat. Somehow the waiter kept stressing that it's new and improved, so I dunno how it was supposed to look like during the "beta phase", but this is actually pretty good. You can taste the egg and the crab taste melding together in one flavour and it's very fluffy. Cook really, really well.

Overall, I have nothing but praise for the food around here. Service is good, food tastes delicious, and the price is reasonable. Might even consider a reprisal if things go well and if I have the chance to eat here again.

Her full name is Ana Catherine Valentine Redfield.

She was born in 5th of July on 2001, right after Raccoon City incidents.

She got her mother’s appearance and her father’s personality.

This is my first work of her when she was a child:

She doesn’t like to wear dresses or any cute fancy outfits with pink color, she likes to wear big sweaters, with shorts/loose jeans and the classic all Star sneakers. Or some vintage, oversized, and skater-like clothes:

Her personality it’s a little bit like sarcastic, and hot headed, but she likes to help the others. She sometimes likes to train boxing on her parents training room.

Chris and Jill were very busy parents, because y’know… saving the world from B.O.W things. So they asked for Claire to take care of her, but after Claire joined Terra save, she teach Ana some tips of taking care of herself alone.

When Jill ‘died’ (but she didn’t died) on RE5, Chris was too depressive and didn’t wanted to her daughter to know that her mother ‘died’, so he decided to stick his attention to work harder, to protect his family, he didn’t wanted to lose them. It’s was for their “protection” (on his head).

He told everything about this to Claire, but Ana heard everything and she started to cry on her room. Her sadness turned to anger and so she started to train herself, not only to protect her family, but the whole world.

She doesn’t have a relationship with Jake Muller, because they haven’t met… yet. But I think their relationship would be very funny, being dangerous sports buddies.

Her favorite sports are basketball, soccer, and handball.

She is bissexual…. she kissed a lot boys and girls on her high school days… don’t tell her parents 😳

Her best friend is called Iara Young, they are like childhood friends. Iara doesn’t like physical education, but Ana LOVES!

Ana didn’t had any siblings but she dreams to have one 🥺

Her hobbies are skating, doing boxing (she is like a street pugilist), going some parties with her friends.

Anyway! This is her curiosities, hope you guys liked it :3 Ana was like my first OC that I created, because I shipped a lot Valenfield, and I was imagined them on a normal family daily routine. Thanks @xaori for giving me motivation to resurrect my OC :)

Just finished Once Upon the End today in school and..oof. That was quite the ride. Expect edits of Jill and Penelope, and of course, ships, coming soon. Phillip is still best boy in my opinion, but Jack was a good boy too. Nothing like getting stabbed to assert your dominance. Am I the only one who wants a spin off series with Phillip and Penelope going on crazy adventures and maybe getting eaten by a few giants? I hope not.
