Octavia had been back in Toronto for a few days now and with Simon joining her. Octavia has been showing him around the city and all the places she has found over the last two years. They went skating just the two of them a few times and trained together on and off the ice. Simon made Octavia his family’s homemade bread recipe that she absolutely loved.

Octavia has really enjoyed the last few days just spending time with Simon and as much as she hated to admit she does miss Simon when they are apart and she does genuinely enjoy being around him not thsy she would admit that any time soon.

Octavia had woken up a few minutes ago and grabbed a cup of coffee and walked to her art room grabbing the blanket and sitting down onto the couch on her patio letting Louie run around the patio.

Octavia was peacefully drinking her cup of coffee in the silence and she heard Simon’s footsteps coming towards her and she looked up seeing his tired face and messy hair before he stumbled out of the doorway and plopped down onto the couch next to her and laid his head down next to her lap and curled into a little ball.

Octavia looked at him fondly and pulled some of her blanket over him and she gently lifted his head and rested it on her lap knowing he would be more comfortable.

Simon let out a shocked breath not use to Octavia being the one to touch him but relaxed against her feeling himself starting to fall asleep.

Octavia looked down at Simon gently playing with his hair as she saw him fall back asleep and remembered what happened one of the nights at her lake house and something they hadn’t left her mind since.

Octavia was the last on the boat as they had just pulled into dock right as the sun was setting and most of the boys rushed off the boat trying to shower first.

Simon walked back down the dock and hopped back onto the boat making Octavia look up at him seeing that he brought his stuff to the house and came back to help her.

Octavia turned around quickly and must of slipped of a wet spot on the boat floor as she felt her feet slid from underneath her and thinking she was going to fall to the ground, Simon threw his arm out quickly and his arm wrapping around her waist catching her before she could hit the floor.

Octavia had her eyes closed shut but slowly opened them as she felt Simon catch her and saw Simon staring at her, He slowly pulled her back up and slowed reached out and brushed her blonde hair behind her ear as his thumb gently caressed her cheek and Octavia tried not to lean into the comforting touch.

Simon smiled seeing her not pull away and leaned closer to her and their foreheads were touching and their noses brushed but before either could move any closer.

“Tavia!” Matthew called out from the porch.

Octavia and Simon both quickly pulled away from each other and Octavia quickly grabbed the stuff and hopped out the boat, “Yeah?” Octavia called back to Matthew.

Simon watched her walk back up to the house.

Octavia shook her head as she remembered how they almost kissed. She started drinking her coffee letting Simon go back to sleep.

Octavia smiled as she watched Louie jump onto the couch and get under the blanket and cuddling into Simon’s arms making Simon gently hold him in his sleep.

Octavia smiled softly and sat there for at least an hour as Simon peacefully slept.

Simon slowly opened his eyes and realized he had fallen asleep on Octavia, he smiled seeing Louie asleep in his arms. He turned around laying on his back and looked up at Octavia.

Octavia looked down seeing Simon looking at her, “What?” Octavia grumbled knowing she is blushing because of the way Simon is looking at her.

“Very pretty.” Simon softly spoke as he looked at her. Simon raised an eyebrow seeing her cheeks bright red and realized she did feel something for him.

Simon sat up and gently set Louie onto the couch covering him with the blanket before turning back to Octavia, who was watching him already.

“You like me.” Simon simply stated with a small smirk.

Octavia rolled her eyes fondly, “And you like me.” Octavia sassed him back taking a small breath as he continued to get closer to her.

“Does that mean you will let me take you on date?” Simon softly whispered to her as he has leaned closer to her and their foreheads touching.

“If i must.” Octavia quipped back breathlessly as she was so close to him, Simon smiled and let his lips finally touch hers.

Octavia practically sighed in relief as she finally got to kiss him, She brought her hands tentatively up into his hair gently running her hands through his hair.

Simon smiled happily as he kissed softly but desperately and he cupped her face in his hands.

Octavia gently pulled back still letting her forhead rest gently against his, “You’re my boyfriend.” Octavia simply stated with a certain soft smile that has always been reserved only for Simon.

Simon let out loud fond laugh and was shaking his head fondly, “Only you Anjel, Only you.” Simon fondly mumbled before pressing another soft kiss to her lips.

Octavia blushed slightly as she knew Anjel meant Angel in his native language and she’s always loved hearing him Slovak.

“Does this mean you are my girlfriend now?” Simon cheekily questioned smirking at Octavia.

Octavia just shook her head and rolled her eyes fondly at her silly boy.

Octavia just pressed a soft kiss to his cheek in reply before scooting closer and resting her head on his chest.

Simon smiled and fixed the blanket around Octavia and wrapped his arm around her shoulder keeping her close and she leaned against his chest.

Alex Garland's ‘Warfare' Could Be A24's Most Expensive Movie — World of Reel

Much has been made about Alex Garland’s “Civil War” being the most expensive movie in A24 history, its production was said to have cost around $50 million. However, Jeff Sneider is hearing that Garland’s next film, “Warfare”, which he’s co-directing with Ray Mendoza, might be even more expensive. My best guess is its budget might hit the $60-70 million range.

Production on “Warfare” is supposed to begin in May. We don’t know much about the plot except that it is set in 2007 during the Iraq war. The cast includes Charles Melton, Joseph Quinn, D’Pharaoh Woon-A-Tai, Will Poulter, Kit Connor, Cosmo Jarvis, Michael Gandolfini, Taylor John Smith, Finn Bennett, Henrique Zaga and Adain Bradley.

Sneider adds that most if not all of these actors are currently undergoing military training at a Navy SEAL-like boot camp in England. They are striving for authenticity with this one and that’s always a good sign.

Garland’s co-director, Mendoza, is a war expert having collaborated with the History Channel as a producer on the documentary series “The Warfighters.” His IMDb doesn’t show any directing credits to his name, so this film with Garland will be his feature filmmaking debut.
