how to love yourself in 22 steps
most likely not a perfect guide but here's something you can base your strategies off of
make a list of your favorite things
color? food? drink? clothing? place?
now go and do/find/wear/eat those things
like wear your fav sweatshirt, be around your fav people (if possible), do your fav activity, etc
now once you've done that
chill
relax
give yourself a break; like try meditating or something
no screens, no thoughts, no nothing. just you and a blanket, pillow, or maybe a stuffed animal.
none of this working?
option one: keep this up for a week, maybe a bit longer, sometimes self love takes time
option two: if you've already done option one, maybe try to get someone who can help you through your problems
depending on the severity of the problems, it could be a friend, sibling, parent, or your therapist
also please add the things that work for you to this
everyone is different
some people say that that's a bad thing
they can shut the fuck up
being different is fine and modifying lists like this is recommended
also try to distance yourself from bad things, or things that remind you of hard times. sometimes you can't do this (ex if the bad thing is your mom or dad and you're a minor), and that's ok, just try to establish some sort of boundary.
you might have to learn to filter people out (not just ignoring them, just completely forgetting their existence entirely). it's a skill i have that sometimes does more harm than good, but hey, desperate times call for desperate measures.
wishing you luck on your journey. dms are always open for venting, and no i do not give a shit if you are a stranger. if you want to vent, go for it.
love you all a lot <333

Chapter 38: the Sablier Arc part 4
chapters: 35 || 36 || 37
read the manga: (coming soon lol)
This Chapter opens on a flashback of Gilbert's life before meeting Oz, over 100 years ago, when he and Vincent lived alone together on the streets. Society had labeled Vincent a Child of Misfortune, a bad omen, because of his one red eye, and the pair had been abandoned at a very young age.
Back in the hedge maze of his memory world, Gilbert's head pounds again. But he tries to ignore that, reminding himself to focus on Oz and dispel the illusion. But as he sees the ghost of his childhood self run past again, Gil wonders if he really wants to grt rid of the illusion, or follow his memories and regain what he'd forgotten. Hadn't he always wanted to know who he served before Oz?
He walks on and suddenly sees a tiny child Vincent plucking roses from the hedges, and Gilbert's head aches again.
Just then, his left hand twitches and aches, the way it always does when Oz uses the B-Rabbit's power that Gil was supposed to have sealed away.
Similarly, in her own memory world, Alice senses her power being used without her. She hears Oz's voice calling out to her. She looks back at the ghosts of Jack and herself, then approaches them and waves her hands right through their forms. Confirming that these are just fragments of memories and not actual pieces of Jacks soul that could be interacted with, Alice says goodbye to the ghosts and runs to try and find Oz.
Back in his little memory bubble, Gilbert recognizes the feeling of Oz using the B-Rabbit Chain's power, and also remembers when Jack had told him that Oz wouldn't need Raven sealing its power any longer.
And if Oz doesn't need him, what is Gilbert supposed to do? His head pounds again, but he's been trying his hardest to block his forgotten memories.
He finally admits to himself that he's afraid. Afraid that Oz won't need him anymore, afraid of losing his place in the world. He says it feels as if Oz is heading toward a bright, sunny future and leaving him behind in the darkness of his past.
As Gilbert falls to his knees and grabs his head in agony, Jack Vessalius rounds a corner of the maze and approaches him. Unlike the ghost of a memory Alice had found, this is a fragment of Jack's actual soul, and he says he's surprised and happy it was Gil who found him.
Desperately wanting confirmation that his connection to and desire to serve Oz is fate, Gilbert begs Jack to tell him that, in his life 100 years ago, Jack was the master he had sworn to serve.
And Jack says nope.
But Gilbert had faced Glen to protect Jack and was stabbed in the back. He says that Gilbert was heart broken that he couldn't protect Jack, and so he'd thought it better if Gil forgot and just served Oz.
Then we see a memory of Gilbert and Vincent as children on the street.
Back at the Nightray mansion, miles and miles from Sablier, Vincent stares wistfully out a window. He remembers a conversation with Lottie Baskerville, before he'd sent her and Zwei to Sablier. Lottie asks why Vince never comes to Sablier, and if it's because he has memories he doesn't want to face.
Then we see a memory of Vincent as a child. Jack had cut his bangs, telling him he no longer needed to hide his red right eye. And then another memory, this one of Alice, and another, mysterious woman.

Control
Adam grins, and fights the urge to lick his lips. "What," he asks. He lays back on the bed, arms behind his head. The comforter is cozier than he expected for this MMA Fuck Club bunch. Maybe this is Claudio's bed, something a little more European about it. Works for him. "Now that it's real, y'all aren't ready to commit?" He laughs a little, adjusting so his erection is a little more obvious. He didn't wear tight jeans for nothing. "Not as tough as you seem, BBC."
"It's BCC," Yuta snaps. Adam turns his eyes on him. He looks genuinely angry, no mask, no control.
"I know," Adam says, "but it's so much more fun to piss you off, isn't it?" He glances over to Mox. "What about you? Talked about choking me out in the past. Wanna make good on that promise?"
"What is happening," Bryan says. It's quiet enough it seems like he hadn't meant to say it out loud.
"What's happening is that you four have had an attitude for, like, a year, and if I have to deal with it without any of the fun stuff, that seems unfair." Adam looks over to Claudio. "How about you? Stuffy European guy, lets loose in the ring. Same in bed, big man?"
It's an approach he didn't exactly plan on, if he admits it. But with his time around the Dark Order, he's discovered that, sometimes, the best way to win is to throw people off guard. And Silver, whose horniness has permeated most if not all of his interactions, seems to be pretty successful using that method. And so here he is, stretched out on a bed, hands slowly undoing his belt, waiting.
"You really are a fuckin' brat, aren't you?" Mox says. He makes his way over to the bed, puts his hands over Adam's where they're messing with the belt. "Jesus. You don't know when to quit."
"I know when to quit," Adam says. "I just never feel like I need to, when it's you four." He deliberately licks his lips and pulls his hands out from under Mox's. He locks eyes with Mox as he pulls his belt off, feeling Yuta's, Bryan's, and Claudio's eyes as he lifts his hips and rolls them back down. In a moment of possible divinely stupid inspiration, he winds it back and smacks Mox with it, right in the back.
Bryan laughs. And Adam knows, very quickly, that they've accidentally given him control in the room.
"The fuck are you doing?!" Mox asks. But his pupils are blown. And Adam's got him read like a Spot book.
Adam grins and yanks Mox down by the back of his neck, leaning up to come a breath away from meeting Mox's lips. "Whatever I want."
