My pupper!! She's such a potato but I love the hell out of her.

I don't recall how much I have actually shared about her so forgive any repeated info.

She was born October 8th, 2014 (She's a purebred. Me and my ex had a *lot* of issues with rescues sadly. long story...) We named her lady because she sat up all prim and proper with her front paws crossed and he just looked like royalty. it was the cutest thing. I was about halfway through my pregnancy with my daughter at the time, and so when I went to meet Lady before we could officially take her, she curled up on my belly and put her wittle face between my boobs (lol) and fell asleep. If I coulda taken her home that day I would have.

She's an old Lady now, but she's got a ton of energy. She's a bit lazy, and has really bad anxiety. She's the queen of puppy eyes, and loves attention. New person? LET. ME. LOVE. YOU. DAMNIT is 100% her energy. You'll get sick of her WAY before she gets sick of you. She won't play with toys, but if she sees a squirrel, a bird, a lizard, etc. you bet your ass she's gonna try and chase it. I think she's afraid of snakes tho. Also, she sheds like CRAZY. my ex said "let's get a short haired dog! she won't shed." BULLSHIT. I was only petting her the other day, and I think I petted a whole other dog off of her. I wish I was kidding.

Thank you for asking about my little love. Lady is to me like Tara is to Gale (minus the wings and the sassy motherly talk lol).

I adore her, and I hope she's secretly immortal.

I took my new e-scooter to the drive thru and I don't think they were expecting to see that

#context: this was an early xmas/birthday gift #so that I could go places by myself bc I can't drive a car #people. I rode this thing all frickin day till my butt was bruised #first I went to the library to ask about jobs but of course there were no openings #so after that I said y'know what. I need a cookie to drown my sorrows #and I just frickin did it. I took my 27-year-old no-license-having ass to the wendy's drive thru #folks it felt LIBERATING #thankfully there were no other cars there so I was more comfortable about it #I also got stuck behind a lady on the sidewalk with headphones in going .0005 miles an hour #but that's a less interesting story dkfjg #daily marshmallow #my art

#srry for the continued pause in scribbles ive been feeling not very good at all #idk something just broke in my brain after our last sampling trip idk y bc it wasnt that bad but when i got back #it was just a couple days of my brain being real crazy in terms of thought patterns. it still kinda continues to b like that #but idk i haven't had a session of hysterical crying today so maybe im on the mend. its weird i haven't felt this bad in a really long time #i dont even have the energy to complain about it its just no joy. burned streight thru that. bruned streight thru my desire to draw #i mean i still draw every day but its like shitty i dont have time scribbes bc idk it all feels so fucking pointless. and im terrible at #hiding how i feel abt things so my boss is like: maybe u should take a break this weekend i dont want u to burnout. like. lady we crossed #that bridge way back in March. u r speaking to a ghost. i just. i dont kno if i can stay here until like next july at least if not longer #and it sucks bc i kno someday ill look back and this time in my life will make me real sad bc im laying here choosing to make myself #miserable and i somwhere halfway across the country my mum has tumors growing in her abdomen. and i cant go home for Thanksgiving and idk #how long ill get at Christmas. not bc anyone is telling me i have to stay. my brain just wont let me do things. i just lay here in my #increasingly chaotic apartment not taking the steps to get refunded for travel expenses worrying over deadlines and agonizing over social #interactions. worrying about all the things my brain wont let me do that need to be done and not taking the steps to get better #its stupid and annoying and i know its only going to get worse when i have to start taking measurements in the lab #ive at least been practicing a lot of german tho lmao. someday ill look back like: lol remember when u got super depressed and filled the #void with learning german? literally today my dyslexic read the word albeit as aber and it was v disorienting #idk its just fun and i feel like im at least being productive. so yea idk when ill b able to post scribbles again #but i thought id at least post something while i had the energy i accumulated by taking with a happy Canadian lab group #maybe ill join them in a year idk idk decisions decisions and so many applications the cost of which is trying to dissuade me from #getting a tatt0o :-P ay ay ay live a little! pls i beg u. but no prob not. against the rules #unrelated

I find discussions about fanfiction hilarious because my poor grandma once went on a vacation and brought me this YA bestseller book she was sure i would love and it was about an american girl who becomes a third world war survivor and who fucks her british cousin.

And it was a boring book.

the two character groups don’t actually have a great deal in common as far as their actual personalities as individuals or their vibes as trios -- like, very little, honestly, most parallels between the characters themselves would feel really forced -- but thanks to some interesting bullet points they still share...i definitely did/do think about a ‘God and his Two Faithful Lyctors’ AU for the Three Sages.

I'm not gonna lie. It's odd how my workplace went from 85% middle easterners last summer, to currently having like 25% people with a non-swedish last name

#it mightve been the usual cycle of '95% of people working here are students and will at sone point leave'#but i know one guy was fired for not doing his job (fair) and having bad attitude (it was the same as everyone else?)#so. im slightly worried there was drama in rekation to that #but also one of the ladies who clean left the company around the time when our previous manager (weve been thru 3 in a year)#decided that we always have to speak swedish 100% of the time (who cares if theres some english/arabic in the kitchen?)#and like her son left too. but then current manager was speaking english with one employee. so idk #i hope that rule us no longer in action #yeah anyways. i don't think theres racism involed #and tbh this is probably a slightly more accurate ratio of swedish last names to nonswedish last names; comoared to the rest of the country #but it is still weird none the less. and i dont think racism is Not involved. but then of course on a more structural level
