Hey! Sorry to hear you’re going through it and had a rough day. Tell me about your dog! What’s Lady like? I know gushing about my pets always makes me feel a little better.
Sending you love, and hope tomorrow is a better day. ❤️
My pupper!! She's such a potato but I love the hell out of her.
I don't recall how much I have actually shared about her so forgive any repeated info.
She was born October 8th, 2014 (She's a purebred. Me and my ex had a *lot* of issues with rescues sadly. long story...) We named her lady because she sat up all prim and proper with her front paws crossed and he just looked like royalty. it was the cutest thing. I was about halfway through my pregnancy with my daughter at the time, and so when I went to meet Lady before we could officially take her, she curled up on my belly and put her wittle face between my boobs (lol) and fell asleep. If I coulda taken her home that day I would have.
She's an old Lady now, but she's got a ton of energy. She's a bit lazy, and has really bad anxiety. She's the queen of puppy eyes, and loves attention. New person? LET. ME. LOVE. YOU. DAMNIT is 100% her energy. You'll get sick of her WAY before she gets sick of you. She won't play with toys, but if she sees a squirrel, a bird, a lizard, etc. you bet your ass she's gonna try and chase it. I think she's afraid of snakes tho. Also, she sheds like CRAZY. my ex said "let's get a short haired dog! she won't shed." BULLSHIT. I was only petting her the other day, and I think I petted a whole other dog off of her. I wish I was kidding.
Thank you for asking about my little love. Lady is to me like Tara is to Gale (minus the wings and the sassy motherly talk lol).
I adore her, and I hope she's secretly immortal.

--
It has been a little over a week since Robin got here.
It somehow felt like those parents who forgot to pick up their kids at school. Robin had been at the mercy of Red Hood for a week and a few days and there was no sign of anyone coming to rescue him anytime soon.
Jason even went through his notes, every piece of information he had, and his own plan. Many times.
Something didn’t click.
When he kidnapped Robin, he knew Batman would come for him. Knew there would be a big fight, some spilled blood and maybe broken bones. He then would be able to torture Robin in front of Bruce and make him beg, maybe even cry. Satiate his own thirst for vengeance with Bruce’s suffering.
But nothing like that happened.
Robin’s friends were not around and Jason knew that. It was excusable but… What was the explanation for Batman to ignore this? Was he trying to play some kind of sick game with his mind or did he actually not care about Tim?
He didn’t even send Nightwing either. There was no Justice League. There was nobody.
No one.
What was the point of torturing or doing something to Robin if Bruce wasn’t here to witness it?
“Do you have golden grahams?”
Jason turned to look at the teen and thought about what was happening. There was no way Bruce hadn’t realised his new Robin was missing. Nor that Jason had kidnapped him and now was even feeding him.
“No, but I can buy some later.” He said as he placed a windowed box on the table and pushed it toward Tim slowly. “I got you donuts though.”
“Oh?” Robin looked at the box, interested when he had heard it was donuts. Right now he was wearing Jason’s clothes and had come out from a nice shower. “They’re from  Holesome Dough! Great!”
Jason watched him devour one after another while he thought about the situation. He was definitely not imagining things. It was happening.
He looked down and noticed Tim’s bare feet, some drops of his wet hair making a mess around. “I’ve told you to wear shoes and to dry your hair properly. I’m not going to clean that.”
Tim looked down for a few moments before he’d go and sit down in a chair, enjoying his snack.
Stupid Batman was ignoring his own Robin, who was definitely in danger. If Jason were completely fucked up, right now he would have had Tim’s head on display and probably had sent some parts of his body to Bruce, just as a silly joke.
Bruce knew where he was and didn’t even care!
He didn’t care.
Jason rubbed his eyes, tired and frustrated. “I’m not really surprised. Just disappointed.”
“About what?” Tim turned to look at him, a crumb on his upper lip. “Oh. I’ll dry my hair after this. You want some?” He offered him the donut he was eating since it was the last one.
“He’s not coming, is he?” This felt so familiar.
“Bruce?” Tim shrugged. “He might think I have it under control.”
“Replacement, I beat you up. You passed out as you bled when I took you with me. If you were able to handle it, you would’ve contacted him. He didn’t even call you. What’s his excuse?” He snorted and took a seat. “He’s across town, yeah, Gotham is big but not that big that he can’t come to rescue his sidekick.”
Of course it pissed him off. Days prior Jason had gone to check if Batman was around, to make sure he wasn’t out of Gotham doing something else that stopped him from coming to rescue his young, new soldier. The worst of all this? Batman was in Gotham.
It made Jason furious.
This Robin could have the same ending as he did, history would repeat and Bruce didn’t give a fuck about it. It didn’t seem as if Batman wanted a Robin, at least not one to last.
He just can’t be responsible like a proper adult, maybe that’s why he doesn’t have children or pets. Maybe this is why he doesn’t have a family.
He snorted, so close to pulling from his own hair. If someone has a sidekick, they teach them, they protect them. Where was Batman when he was needed? With how things went, Jason suspected that Bruce decided to give Tim to him. As those who throw meat to wild dogs, to keep them busy, keep them away.
“Fuck it. Fuck Bruce, fuck Dick, fuck everyone, I’m keeping you.”

Slipped My Mind
Pairing: Bruce Wayne x reader
Summary: Bruce forgot a very important day and the whole family is making sure he knows it. He tries to fix the mistake before you get home
Word Count: 917
---
Bruce was sitting in the Batcave on the bat computer going over some files after a night of patrol. It has been a strange day for Bruce because no one is giving him the time of day today. It all started this morning when he woke up to an empty, cold bed without you. He didn’t think too much about it because you both are busy people with jobs. You own a very popular restaurant downtown.
Alfred comes down to the Batcave to give Bruce his nightly coffee. Once Alfred is next to Bruce he just throws down the tray in front of Bruce. Bruce looks at Alfred wondering why he just did that, but Alfred just has a straight face. Bruce lets out a sigh and nods his head. He picks up the coffee and spits it out.
“Alfred why is the coffee cold and bitter” Bruce grabs the napkin on the tray and cleans his mouth.
“I bet that is how Mistress Y/N feels about you today,” Alfred says under his breath then walks away. Bruce looks at him wide eye not understanding where that just came from. He ignores it now and will talk about it later with him. Right now Bruce is tired and just wants to see and cuddle his wife.
After a bit, the boys come back from patrol. They didn’t want to work with Bruce tonight. They didn’t give a good reason. They just mumbled under their breath and left.
“How was patrol tonight boys?” Bruce asked trying to make conversation since he was being ignored all day.
“Why do you care about how patrol is when there are more important things to be worried about right now,” Jason says taking off his helmet. Bruce looks at Jason with narrowed eyes trying to understand what he means by that.
“Jason is right and you need to do better or you are going to lose her,” Dick says with anger behind his tone.
“Lose her..” Bruce says to himself.
“Have you not noticed that she hasn’t been here all day because I have and miss her!” Damian yells. Bruce starts to think; are they talking about you not being here?
“Y/N isn’t here because you have forgotten your 10-year anniversary,” Tim says out loud. Bruce's heart stops for a second and he looks at the date. They were right, it was you and Bruce’s 10-year wedding anniversary and it has slipped his mind.
He stops everything that he is doing and runs out of the Batcave. He takes off the suit, gets into one of his many cars, and drives to the nearest store at this hour. He goes in and buys everything that you like and rushes back home to get everything set up for you.
After about an hour you arrive home after a very long day. You go up to your shared room with Bruce and open the door in awe. There are rose petals everywhere with lit candles and all your favorite snacks, candies, and drinks. You look at Bruce with a serious face.
“Are you cheating on me?!” you say angrily.
“Why would you think that?” Bruce says confused.
“Baby, I love you and everything but you aren’t the most romantic person in the world sometimes. You know how to treat a woman very well but you don’t really show it too much. Now I come home on a random day and this is all done. I have to think that you are cheating on me and got caught” you explain and Bruce starts to laugh.
“Oh, this is great. You also forgot” Bruce smiles and walks over to you.
“What did I forget?” you start to think about what was so important about today, and then you remember. Today is your anniversary.
“Bruce I am so sorry that I forgot. I was so busy this morning getting stuff for the kids. Dick was wearing too small of clothes, so I went shopping for him. Jason needed new guns because somehow he lost them. Tim needed new computer parts. Damian has a field trip so I had to drive to the school and drop it off. Barbara needed help getting somewhere today. Then the restaurant was understaffed tonight so I had to jump in” You ramble on but stop one Bruce pulls you into a hug and leans in to give you a deep, passionate kiss that takes your breath away.
“Happy anniversary dear. We both forgot and that’s okay” Bruce says and you both laugh at it.
“Wow we really did forget, but it has been the best 10 years of my life” You give Bruce a chaste kiss.
“Now I haven’t been able to see my wife all tonight and the boys have been giving me the cold shoulder because they think you are mad at me for not remembering,” Bruce says.
“Let me go talk to the boys and explain what really happened,” you say and try to leave Bruce’s hold but can’t get out of his strong grip on your waist.
“Now we still have a few hours left in our anniversary and I want to spend it taking care of my hard-working wife who has been on her feet all day,” Bruce says and picks you up with ease.
“I like the sound of that” You wrap your arms around Bruce’s neck and kiss him. You both spend the night remembering why you got married in the first place.

Nanny Belle and the Midnight Princes pt1
Tumblr media
Nanny Belle does her best to keep her favorite little princes entertained, while welcoming the kids from Jade, Benitoite, and Obsidian too. Diplomatic crises, chaos, and cuteness everywhere! Approx. 2500 words
Nanny Belle Stories here
Belle looked over the room with a critical eye. There was a play space for Luke and Rio, a reading nook for Chevalier, plenty of toys for Leon, Licht, Nokto, Jin, and Yves. Extra cleaning rags and a bucket of sand for any surprises from Clavis. Some places to lay down if someone felt tired, and a snack table with enough food to feed an army of little princes. It would do.
“I hope it meets your exacting standards.” A cool, low voice tickled her ear.
She nearly jumped as she turned to find Sariel at her shoulder. “I - I didn’t hear you come in.”
“I can be very quiet when I need to be.” He smiled. Some said the councilor’s smile made babies cry, but Belle found it endearing. Sariel had a sharp smile, wry, with a hint of dark humor. And there was a warmth in his eyes, especially when he looked at her the way he was looking now.
Belle smiled back at him. “I believe it.” She gestured to the room. “Everything looks great. Thank you so much for letting us use this space. I really wanted the princes to feel special on the holiday, even if they don’t get to go to the king’s celebration.”
He nodded, clasping his hands behind his back. “You always take such good care of them.” Sariel’s smile faded. “I didn’t stop in just to see if the accommodations were sufficient. I also have a favor to ask.”
“For you? Anything.” She laughed.
“You should take care when you make such sweeping statements, especially to a man like me.” He looked entirely serious, almost grim, as he spoke. Then he pushed his glasses back up onto his nose. “There will be additional royalty present this evening. Prince Silvio and Emidio of Benitoite, Prince Keith and Tio of Jade, Princess Mirielle of Jade, and Prince Gilbert from Obsidian. They will be in your care for the duration of the celebrations.”
She felt her eyebrows lift and her shoulders tense. “I’m sorry?”
Sariel set his hands on her shoulders, reassuring her. “I know it’s a lot to ask, with so much already in your care. But it can’t be helped. The princes are visiting, as part of their education. And tonight, the ambassadors and tutors accompanying them will be at the king’s party.”
Belle swallowed. “Alright. I - I guess I can handle a few more little guys. What’s the worst that could happen?”
“War. But don’t let that worry you. I am sure you’ll be fine. You are a very capable woman with admirable talents.” Sariel squeezed her gently, almost a hug. “I’ll come check on you when I am able, or you can send a servant if need be and I will come running.” He smiled. “Anything for you.”
She smiled back, still feeling rather anxious. “Alright. When will they arrive?”
“Shortly after the party begins.”
Belle nodded. “Any allergies or special care I should know about?”
Sariel shrugged, his hands dropping to his sides. “Keep Gilbert away from anything sharp and pointy, Silvio likes shiny things, and Keith . . . is a moody child.” He reached up and lightly touched her cheek. “I wouldn’t ask you to do this if I didn’t think you could. And I mean it when I say, I will be here should you need me.”
She felt her cheeks heat beneath his gloved fingertips. “Thanks Sariel. That means a lot. I just hope I don’t disappoint.”
“You won’t. Good luck, my dear. And happy new year!” Sariel waved as he left, hurrying on to his next task.
Belle watched him go with a bittersweet smile. Sariel was such a professional. So knowledgeable, and kind to spend so much of his time here reassuring her. A mere nanny. She sighed. But there wasn’t much time to worry as the boys were on their way.
Jin arrived first, with Luke on his shoulders, chased by one of the nursery maids. “Wheeee! Pffff!” He whinnied and snorted like a horse, and pretended to buck while Luke clung to his head. A tiny, chubby little red-headed knight, drooling on his horse.
“Be careful,” Belle called out, as Jin charged toward the snack table.
“Yes, Nanny Belle!” Jin skidded to a halt. “Do I get a kiss on the cheek for being good?”
“Nope. I expect you to be good. But if you’re extra good, maybe you can have a kiss on the top of your head later.” She grinned at the cheeky boy. One day, she thought, that kid is going to break hearts.
Jin smiled widely. “Then I’ll be extra good.”
“I somehow doubt that.” Leon strode in after him, looking every inch a little prince. His cheeks were still a little hollow from his last bout of sickness, but he was smiling, and moved with boyish energy. “Is this where they’re packing us away during the party?”
Belle shook her head. “This is where we’re having our own much better party. The ballroom will just be full of stodgy people drinking wine and doing formal dancing. In here, we get to play games and eat good food, and dance however we want to.”
“Dancing is stupid,” Licht interjected as he and Nokto came into the room.
“It is not,” Nokto argued.
“Is too!”
“Not!”
“Hey! If Licht doesn’t want to dance, that’s ok. He can use the telescope on the balcony to look at stars instead.” Nanny Belle gestured toward the wide balcony space beyond a set of glass double doors.
“There’s a telescope?” Nokto’s eyes got big and suddenly all the boys were rushing out to the balcony to look at it.
Chevalier shuffled in next, his lips in a hard frown. He held a book in each hand. He didn’t say anything to Belle, just came in and plopped down in the reading nook she’d set up for him. He opened one of his books and glared down at the page.
Belle knew better than to interrupt his funk. He was angry at being excluded from adult things, a sentiment she understood. Chev was a gifted child and being stuck with the other kids grated on him. But despite his brilliance, he was still a child at heart and she knew he’d come around once he got over his sulk.
Yves came in with another of the nursery maids. It looked as if he’d taken extra time with his outfit and hair. He looked around the room with an air of cautious curiosity, then his eyes fell on Belle. “You look the same.” He crossed his arms grumpily. “You’re ‘posed to dress up for parties!”
“Oh! Well, you’re absolutely right Prince Yves. But even though I’m wearing my nanny’s uniform, I promise I’m all dressed up and fancy inside.” She grinned and winked at him.
“What does that mean?” Yves touched a strand of his curly hair.
“It means in my imagination and in my heart, I’m wearing the fanciest ballgown tonight. I bet if you close your eyes, you could imagine it too.”
He clenched his eyes shut and took on a look of extreme concentration. “Oh! Yes, I can imagine it Ms. Belle.”
A jingling distracted Yves from his imaginary nanny, and he turned toward the door. “Is this the kid-jail for tonight’s shindig?” A willowy young boy stood in the doorway. He had pale, fluffy hair and sea blue eyes. He jangled due to several bejeweled chains at his hip, wrist, neck, and ankles. It was more jewelry than Belle had ever seen on a child.
“Ummm, yes, this is where we’re having a princes’ party. What’s your name, little guy?” Nanny Belle was sure he was one of the foreign princes, but which?
“You can call me your highness. Damn uppity servants. Who do you think you are, asking for my name? I should buy your contract just so my dad can fire you.” He put a fist to his hip and glared at her.
“Shut up, Silvio. Your jangling and yapping grates on my nerves.” Chevalier spoke up from his corner without looking up from his book.
Nanny Belle smiled as best she could. What a rude little boy! “Welcome, Prince Silvio. You’ll find the snack table there, and some games and toys over here. And there’s a telescope on the balcony. I hope you’ll find something you like to do.”
He rolled his eyes, but sauntered in. “These snacks are lame. What is this even? A fruit tray?”
“Silvio, that’s not very nice.” Another new voice came from the doorway, or rather, from beside it. The speaker was hiding behind the doorframe.
Yves put his thumb in his mouth, a nervous gesture, and scooted closer to Belle.
“Shut it, Gloomskull. Nobody asked you.” Silvio frowned at the empty doorway. “And quit skulkin’ around. Come in or go home.”
A smaller boy walked in, his hands clenched nervously at the hem of his jacket. “I can’t go home. It’s too far to walk.” He wavered nervously just inside the room as if he might really try to run home.
Belle crouched down to his height. “We wouldn’t want you to go home, Prince Keith. Come here and I’ll show you how to use the telescope.”
He stared at her, clearly unsure what to make of her offer.
She held out her hand, waiting for him to take it.
After a long moment of studying her hand and face, he tentatively grasped one finger. “Ok.”
Silvio scoffed and rolled his eyes, but when Nanny Belle started for the balcony with Prince Keith in tow, Silvio trailed along behind them, jangling with every step. The balcony was decorated with flowers and ribbons, with several low couches and tables set up. The telescope was off to one side, pointed out toward the hills beyond the capital city.
Licht and Nokto were taking turns gazing through it, even though it wasn’t dark enough to see anything in the sky yet. The twins turned as the two new princes approached. Despite their similar appearances, their reactions couldn’t have been different. Nokto smiled widely, while Licht gave a little frown and walked to the rail, ignoring them completely.
Keith was so excited by the telescope that he let go of Belle’s hand to rush over to it.
Nokto immediately stepped in to play host, a natural diplomat. “Do you like it? My father had it imported from Obsidian.”
“Does it use gems for lenses?” Keith asked excitedly.
“Gems?” Silvio perked up.
Nanny Belle intended to step in before Nokto started weaving one of his embellished stories, but a loud woman’s voice summoned her back into the main room. A woman stood in the doorway, dressed in the most fashionable gown from the season’s ballroom wear. It might have looked nice, had she not covered it with ostentatious - but expensive - jewelry, and too much heavy makeup. She had a little boy with her, cradled in her arms as if he were an infant, though he was clearly old enough to walk on his own.
“My lady,” Belle gave a deep curtsy.
The woman glared at her but did not respond. Instead, she spoke to the boy in her arms. “Is mommy’s little ‘Dio going to be happy here? What do you think? Do you want to stay with me? Hmmm?”
“I . . .” the little boy’s sea blue gaze tracked across the room, taking in the toys and games and snacks, lingering on the other children.
“Highness, your husband is waiting,” a servant said softly from the hallway, just out of sight.
The woman pinched the boy’s cheek. “Of course you want to stay. Mommy will come back for you after the party, ok?”
“I . . .” Before he could say anything else, the woman set him down and hurried out without another word. The boy stood there looking a little bewildered.
Belle crouched in front of him and smiled gently. “Let’s see. Your eyes are blue like the ocean, and your hair is almost azure . . . so you must be Prince Emidio. Am I right?”
He nodded and wiped his nose on his sleeve.
“Your brother is on the balcony looking at a telescope. Did you want to go out too?”
Emidio glanced out at the balcony and shook his head. “No. I want to go home.”
Chevalier glanced up from his book, staring at the Benitoitian prince with an icy glare.
Emidio swallowed whatever other complaint he had and smiled up at Nanny Belle. “I am sorry, miss. Thank you for having me here. I am sure this party will be wonderful.” He looked over at the snack table. “May I?”
“Of course,” Belle smiled at him brightly. His whole demeanor shifted in a blink, and while she was sure he was still unhappy, there was no sign of it. It made her sad to see how even at this age, the young prince knew to hide his feelings. She leaned closer and whispered, “It’s ok if you miss your mama. She’ll be back for you soon. In the meantime, I hope we can have fun.”
He blinked at her in surprise, and then nodded.
Nanny Belle might have said more, but her attention was pulled away by shouting on the balcony. She hurried out to see what was going on.
“You threw Luke’s honey roll! I saw!” Jin was pointing at Keith, his voice raised. Luke was whimpering and staring off the balcony after something. Probably his honey roll.
“Did I? Hm. Maybe it was an accident,” Keith shrugged, a mischievous smile on his lips. “Or maybe you imagined it.”
Licht frowned at him, garnet eyes hard. “I saw too. It wasn’t an accident.”
“I think you imagined it.” Keith shrugged again. “He probably dropped it himself, trying to get his sticky hands all over the telescope. If anything, we’re lucky he dropped it. Because if he smeared the lens, we couldn’t see anything tonight.”
Nanny Belle took a moment to listen. This was nothing like the shy little moppet she’d welcomed in a few minutes ago. He was like an entirely different little boy. She didn’t understand it, but if she didn’t intervene, this was going to turn into an incident. “Come here, Prince Luke. I’ll get you a new honey roll, ok?”
Luke toddled over to her, sticky fingers grasping at the air as she picked him up.
“Prince Jin, I’m sure if Prince Keith dropped anything, it was an accident. We’re all friends here, so let’s remember that.” She gave Jin a sharp look.
He caught it, and after a moment, he nodded. “Yes, Nanny Belle.” He took a breath. “I’m sorry, “Prince Keith. I must have been mistaken.”
Keith grinned widely. “Thanks. And hey, can I get a honey roll while you’re at it, Nanny?”
“Of course.” Nanny Belle led him inside, with Luke balanced on her hip. She handed the tyke a honey roll and settled him in a chair so he couldn’t get sticky sweet smears on everything. Then she handed Keith a plate with another roll on it. “Do you need a fork?”
“Yes, please?” Prince Keith’s smile seemed gentler now, but maybe that was just getting something sweet to eat.
Belle handed him the fork just in time to turn and see another servant in the doorway. He was tall and dressed in light armor, all black. He looked dangerous, and he probably was. The royal crest of Obsidian was emblazoned on his chest, and though he wasn’t armed, he looked capable of violence.
To be continued!

Party Planners
Karl Jacobs
(I just checked my poll, he got the least amount of votes, therefore I’m writing him. Because ultimately I am the God of this operation and you can’t stop me!! Muahahahahaha)
Parent AU
There was nothing you hated more than the elementary school pickup line. The school itself was fine, but god that fucking line. It was worth it, though, because every day you saw your son’s teacher, Mr. Jacobs. And obviously your son, but you had a huge crush on his teacher. It was protocol for parents to get out and grab their kids (safety reasons) so you and him would chat every time you got Tommy.
Today was no different, so once you finally got a parking spot, you walked over to grab your son. “Hi Tommy!” You called as you got closer. He looked up, eyes puffy from crying, and ran to you. You dropped down to catch him. “Oh no, baby, what’s wrong?” You asked, picking him up. His teacher stepped forward. “Tubbo told him they’d be moving soon,” Mr. Jacobs said. He reached out to pay the child’s shoulder. “Schlatt has a job opportunity that he told me will help him take better care of Tubbo. I forgot about that,” you said softly.
Karl looked sad. You could tell he would miss his student. So would you, as you and Schlatt were great friends, not to mention your children. “We should throw them a going away party,” you said, hoping to get Tommy’s attention. He looked up. “You love parties, don’t you?” You asked your son. He nodded, making Karl laugh. “That’s a great plan. I’ll talk to Tubbo’s father about it. You’ve got my number, I believe, so I’ll text you if he’s okay with it.” You nodded. “Well, I better go. Ready Tommy?” He nodded again, and waved at his teacher. “Bye Tommy! Bye, Y/N. Pleasure to talk to you again! Have a great day.”
As you were buckling Tommy’s seatbelt, he watched you. “Do you like mister Jacobs?” He asked. The question had you taken aback. “Excuse me?” You stuttered. Tommy shrugged. “I think he likes you. You should kiss him.” You laughed. “That’s not quite how that works, kiddo. C’mon, let’s go home.”
Hours later, after you had Tommy tucked into bed, you got the text from Karl saying you had the okay from Schlatt. The three of you would be the only ones in on it (besides Tommy, who promised not to tell) to make sure Tubbo didn’t find out.
When the party finally came, you went in with Tommy. The room was decorated by yourself and Karl the night before. As you’d decorated, the two of you talked about life. How Karl loved kids but had none of his own, how Tommy’s other parent had left you a month after he was born, how he tried his best despite his ADHD. It was nice.
“Y/N! Everyone, say hi to Y/N,” Karl greeted as you entered. “Hi guys! I’m Tommy’s parent.” Everyone rushed to greet you, so Karl helped calm them down. As he explained to them why the room was decorated, you watched him. He looked so at home surrounded by the kids. This was definitely his dream job. “Me, Y/N, and Schlatt decided to give Tubbo a going away party.” Schlatt was near the snack table, gently instructing Tubbo on how to tie his shoe. Upon hearing his name, he rose and waved. “Hey ya little gremlins.”
The party went great, all the students were playing, chatting or snacking to their hearts content. It lasted all day, so when the final bell rang, you stayed behind to help clean up. You were arranging Tommy’s ride home with Schlatt when Tubbo tugged on your hand. “Hey bud. What’s up?” You asked, picking him up. “Thank you,” he said quietly, hugging your neck. You kissed his forehead. “Hey. You’re like a second son to me. Anytime. Tommy’s gonna spend the night tonight, your dad said it was okay. Here, Schlatt.” You handed him his child and let Tommy know the plan. Obviously he was ecstatic. “Bye guys! Be good for Schlatt, Tommy.” He nodded, then they were gone.
Once it was just you and Karl, he put on some music and the two of you started to clean. It took a few hours; you were famished by the time you were done. Karl must’ve heard your stomach growl, because he smiled at you. “Hungry?” He laughed. You blushed and nodded. “We should go get dinner. I’ll pay,” he offered. “Mister Jacobs, are you asking me on a date? Scandalous,” you teased. The two of you laughed. “Maybe I am. And please, call me Karl.”
“Okay Karl. Sure. And thank you.” He smiled at you. “Anytime, Y/N.”

Natasha walked down the stairs to find you on the couch, surrounded by a pile of clean clothes that you slowly made your way through, folding them as some mind numbing reality show played in the background. Giving you a quick kiss, she takes a seat on the couch, the pile of laundry between you as you both continue folding.
When she’s neatly folded the last of the clothes, one of Rosie’s jumpers that your grandma knit for her, she sighs and shuffles closer to you, her head on your shoulder while her hand gently caresses your belly. Seven months along and she couldn’t be more excited. You’ve both decided against a gender reveal party, opting to find out the baby’s sex after birth.
“I think we might actually be able to be in bed at a reasonable hour today,” she sighs into your shoulder, breathing in the smell of the detergent and another familiar scent that’s entirely you.
“Oh, I love it when you talk dirty to me,” you say, putting on an exaggerated sultry tone. You do in fact end up making it to bed at a decent time that night. Natasha was out the door early for her morning run and by the time you woke up, she was already dressed, getting started on breakfast. Guess you were on Rosie duty today.
You woke your daughter up, immediately rushing her into the shower and making sure she was ready for school so Natasha could drop her to the bus stop on her way to work. You were mostly working from home, your job allowing you that flexibility but you suspect you’d have to apply for maternity leave soon. This baby was not kind on your back, forget about your bladder and your feet.
Natasha went off to work, dropping Rosie off at her stop on the way while you dove right in, checking work emails, your phone ringing incessantly. By the time the clock hit five, you were exhausted and craving some banana bread. So that’s what you did. It would be a great snack for Rosie too and it was your neighbour, Mrs. Hernandez’s duty, to collect the kids from the bus stop today.
By the time Natasha got home, the entire house was smelling like fresh banana bread, Rosie and you at the kitchen table as she munched away and you just watched your baby girl with a smile on your face. Peaceful moments like this were always welcome in your household, a respite from the general noiseness.
“Banana bread?’ she asks as she greets you with a kiss on the cheek. She rushes up to change and by the time she comes back down, Rosie is already out the door, playing with the other kids in the neighbourhood.
“You gotta stop making all this stuff, babe. My jeans barely fit me anymore,” she says the last part in a whisper, as if someone might hear her. You stifle a laugh, patting her arm before handing her a plate. You’d noticed, of course you had. Your cravings, no matter how weird, were always entertained and Natasha indulged too, everytime. So, it shouldn’t really be that surprising that she’d put on a bit of weight, especially considering that she’d cut back on missions too.
“But I like it, you look so sexy,” you say with a poke at her now slightly softer belly, her still apparent abs betraying her true strength. She turns away from you with her nose in the air and her mouth full of banana bread.
“I’m sorry. Look, I’m going shopping tomorrow, some last minute things we need for the nursery. Why don’t you join me? We can get you new jeans too,” you offer and she quickly agrees, always having loved shopping with you. Plus, she couldn’t have you going alone.
The next day once Rosie is off to school, you take the day off to go shopping with your wife. Natasha drives as you list off all the things you need to pick up today. A hamper, blackout curtains and water paints for Rosie. You were also considering getting a little wooden rocking horse but that could wait for now.
Once you’d gotten all you needed, you headed to a clothing store, looking at jeans for Natasha. She seemed to hate everything you picked out, making fake gagging noises. You just rolled your eyes and moved on, looking at more jeans. A couple of girls approached Nat for a picture, chatting with her for a few minutes. Natasha had always been pretty private about her personal and family life so when the girls noticed you and the fact that you were pregnant, they lost their collective minds. Gushing over you, touching your stomach. You promptly ask them to stop, which they do but not without making a dirty face. Natasha is quick to whisk you away from them.
“Ugh, what makes people think they can just come up to a pregnant person and start touching their belly,” you shiver in disgust as Natasha squeezes your hand gently.
“I know and you did good asking them to stop,” she says, gently kissing your hand that’s intertwined with hers.
“Yeah, but did you see their faces? There’s going to be some nasty tweets waiting for us tomorrow,” you sigh and Natasha knows you’re right.
“Hey, how about we check out another store? This one’s a bust,” she says, pulling you along.
At the next store, she finds something she likes and you’re glad for it, finally being able to be off your feet. You sit on one of the small benches just outside of the changing room Nat’s in, breathing a sigh of relief. You step out of your shoes, wiggling your toes and stretching them before slipping your shoes back on.
You hear the lock click as Natasha steps out in a dark blue denim, high waisted and figure hugging. She turns about, letting you see. “What do you think?” she asks, wiggling her eyebrows.
“Your bum looks great in those,” you say with a smirk.
“Are you telling me it doesn’t always look great?” she narrows her eyes, fake pouting. You roll your eyes, telling her she should definitely get those.
She steps out in a hot pink number next which you didn’t honestly expect to look that good. But what can you say? You thought she looked great in whatever she wore. At the end of the day, you walk home with all your shopping done, Natasha having splurged and bought three pairs of jeans.
You call the babysitter on your way home, letting her know you’ll be home in twenty minutes and asking if Rosie had something to eat. She assured you all is well. Once home, after dinner, you and Natasha are in bed, reading a book. Natasha shuts her book, tossing it with her reading glasses to the side. She nudges your foot with hers when you don’t immediately give her attention.
“Hmm, what?” You ask absentmindedly, continuing to read your book.
“Y/n,” she whines, grabbing your arm and shaking you lightly, trying to get you to give her some attention.
“Whaaaattt?” You ask, slightly annoyed.
“What are you getting annoyed for? Can’t a woman ask her wife for some lovin’?” She pouts.
You smile, giving her a kiss, which she lets you pull away from, albeit reluctantly.
“Are you drunk Natty?” you ask her as a deep blush spreads across her cheeks and chest.
“No, I just wanna kiss you,” she mumbles.
“Aw,” you say, your heart melting at how soft she was being. It wasn’t a common sight, her being that needy.
“Stop,” she says, lightly punching your arm.
“Okay,” you say as you pull her close, leaving small kisses all over her face as she flushes a deep pink.
“I love you,” you mumble in between kisses and she responds by deepening the kiss. Your night ends in a frenzy of soft hands and desperate touches, the both of you far too exhausted to do much other than cuddle and fall asleep.
That is until your incessant bladder wakes you up again.

Hi! I love your Levi imagines, and I saw that your requests were open, so here goes: Can you write a Levi x female!reader story where his s/o is pregnant and goes into labor when Hange is off on a research expedition, so Levi has to deliver the baby with only his squad for assistance? Bonus points if someone on Levi Squad faints in the process!
Heyyyy anon, this idea is so precious and I will definitely do a lil imagine for this scenario! <3
Summary: You go into labor without your designated delivery nurse.
Word Count: 1.9K
Warnings: childbirth, nothing too graphic.
__
In the early months of your pregnancy, you and Levi had both been ecstatic. But once the last two or so months had creeped up on you, the two of you began to get anxious. Hange had originally agreed to deliver the baby, seeing that she was the only person that Levi trusted to go near you besides himself. You felt ready to pop as you sat out in the courtyard with Mikasa, she was watching you like a hawk, grey eyes alert and tracking every muscle twitch. It had been strange, as soon as you began to suspect that you were pregnant, Mikasa had began clinging to you. It was as if she sensed the change, eventually you gave up on trying to figure out how she had known, and chalked it up to her Ackerman DNA.
Eren and Jean were running around, Connie desperately trying to keep up with them as they passed a deflated ball back and forth, obviously keeping it out of Connie’s grasp. You smiled fondly as Sasha leapt into the air and snatched the ancient ball from them, passing it to Connie, who ran in the opposite direction. Armin and Annie were laying on a blanket looking up at the sky, Annie’s hand was pointing at a cloud, you could see her lips moving, followed by Armin’s soft laugh.
You hadn’t wanted kids. Not really, that hole had been filled by these fools, but once you all had overcome the issues in Marley, those feelings began to ebb away. Especially once you and Levi began seeing each other. He had been reluctant, but Hange had stayed consistent in pushing him to pursue you. Low and behold two years later, you were married with a bundle of joy on the way. You had felt nauseous all morning, crampy, and sore in your lower abdomen. It wasn’t until the afternoon, about two hours prior that you had felt the first contraction. They were closer now and you weren’t really able to hide them anymore. So Mikasa noticed when you flinched for the second time in twenty minutes. She turned and placed a firm hand to your shoulder.
“What’s wrong? Where does it hurt?” She asked, those coal grey eyes scanning your face for an answer.
“I...have been having contractions.” You admitted guiltily as you rubbed your swollen stomach to ease yourself.
“Uh oh...” Mikasa’s expression dropped, skin paling as the realization struck her. Hange had left only days prior, for an important meeting alongside Erwin and the other high up military personnel.
“It’s fine, I’m fine. It isn’t quite time yet, just maybe help me get back inside?” You were beginning to sweat as the contractions began to become more intense. She nodded and helped you to your feet, the others all noticed the movement and followed like little ducks. You only managed to stumble into the parlor and fall onto one of the sofas there, the teens all towering over you.
“What do you need?” Annie was standing at your side, the back of her hand pressed to your forehead.
“I’ll go get Levi!” Jean offered before taking off and up the stairs, sprinting up them two at a time.
“I’ll go get snacks!” Sasha sprinted towards the kitchen, Connie chasing after her. Armin was standing frozen as he watched Mikasa and Annie both take your hands. Eren was just as bad as Armin, those jade green eyes wide and focused on the space between your legs.
“Uhhhh (Y/n)....I think that-” Eren’s face was beet red as he stumbled over his words.
“Your water broke!” Armin informed you as you tried to meet their eyes over your stomach.
“No, I could have sworn that my contractions were-”
“What in god’s name is-” Levi froze, Jean panting alongside him as they all stared at the fluid dripping down your legs, soiling the couch and your cotton dress.
“(Y/n)...” Levi’s face was pale and his eyes were wide as he rushed to close the space between you. You eagerly gripped his hand as another contraction he let out a shaky breath along with you as the contraction ended.
“What are we supposed to do?” Eren said numbly as he stared at Mikasa who was propping your up.
“We...need to get her a better bed or, something.” Mikasa spoke slowly, Annie nodded in agreement, her icy eyes scanning the room.
“Move those chairs, then go get a mattress from one of the rooms down the hall.” Annie ordered, Eren and Armin darted off to complete the mattress task, while Jean began shoving the chairs out of the way. Connie and Sasha returned, with rags and towels along with an apple shoved in Sasha’s mouth. In mere minutes the room had been transformed into a makeshift delivery room, basins of clean water and mountains of towels. Mikasa and Levi helped you down onto the stripped mattress, Mikasa settled behind you, allowing you to recline back into her. You were shocked by how calming it was to just feel her heartbeat. Levi started by your side, his hand gripping yours. That was until Annie cleared her throat and looked down at your knees.
“Someone...needs to check...” Annie trailed off as everyone shared uneasy glances. Connie shook his head violently, Jean looked green along the gills, Sasha crunched on the apple. Armin swallowed loudly.
“I can...coach someone but I don’t think that I’m comfortable actually...” He flushed as he spoke and you let out a low groan.
“Look I don’t give a shit who does it, but someone needs to see how dilated I am.” Your breathing was deep and somewhat controlled as the room once more fell silent.
“I’ll do it.” Levi said finally as he placed a kiss to your knuckles before shuffling to the end of the mattress. Armin joined Levi, but his eyes were glued to the ceiling.
“O-Okay you need to take your fingers and line them up at the erm...you know.” Armin’s cheeks were so red. Annie huffed, unamused as she joined them at the foot of the mattress.
“Sit down, you’re making me nervous.” You said breathily to Jean, Eren, and Connie who all quickly came to rest on the floor near your head. You grimaced at the feeling of Levi’s fingers against you.
“Uh...what am I looking for?” Levi’s voice was unusually high as he clutched your calf nervously.
“Four fingers!” You groaned, leaning back into Mikasa as you felt yet another contraction.
“That’s two in five minutes, it’s nearly time.” Armin informed, eyes still on the stone ceiling.
“Four? Then...it is time.” Levi said breathlessly as he lifted his head to meet your eyes.
“Great okay, start your breathing like Hange taught you (Y/n).” Mikasa spoke surprisingly calmly as she rubbed your shoulders. You began to pant, shutting your eyes tightly as the lower half of your body felt like it was being torn in two. You let out another moan, you vaguely noticed that Connie and Sasha had both gotten up and were rummaging through the bookshelf.
“-It says in this book that...the baby’s tail should fall off in no more than three days?”
“Are baby’s born with tails?”
“No...at least my siblings weren’t..”
You let out a bark of laughter at the pair as they debated the contents of the book.
“Shut the fuck up you two and get those towels ready.” Eren ordered, his face pale and voice high with panic.
“Yeah what he said.” Jean agreed, his hand covering his eyes as he held your free hand tightly.
“Okay but this book says-”
“For the love of god just-” Eren made it half way through his sentence before you let out a low groan as you pushed for the first time. Armin nodded in approval, Annie as holding your dress up as Levi narrowed his eyes in concentration.
“That’s it, take your time.” Annie encouraged as she reached into her boot for her dagger. You felt your baby slide down, and into the birth canal.
“I...can see the head!” Levi announced as he held his hands out for the baby as you prepared for another good push.
“Good, only a few more (Y/n)!” Armin assured you as he blindly reached out and braced himself on Levi’s shoulder. You moaned, throwing your head back into Mikasa’s shoulder as Eren dabbed your neck with a damp towel.
“So close, you can do it.” Mikasa encouraged as you let out a choked sob, your pelvis felt as if it was about to rip in half as you felt the head crowning.
“Okay Levi, you need to guide the head out, twist so that the shoulders can come out.” Annie informed calmly as she watched Levi gently rotate the baby’s head, allowing the baby to slip free. He let out a shaky gasp as he held the newborn in his hands while Annie sliced the umbilical cord. Armin finally looked as Connie wrapped the baby in a fresh towel.
“I’ll clean-” He pushed the towel aside and beamed at you and Levi.
“-her. I’ll clean her up.” He said as he and Sasha rushed to the nearest basin to wash the baby. Mikasa rubbed your arms as Armin began guiding Levi on the steps to delivering the placenta.
No more than five minutes later, you had your baby girl against your chest. Her head was amazingly full of black silky hair. Her eyes were shut, but you had a feeling that when they opened that they would be a charcoal grey. Levi shuffled up next to you, pressing a kiss you your temple, his lip trembling as he looked down at your daughter.
“You did it.” You said breathlessly as you smiled up at Levi.
“No...you did it.” He said as he gently placed his hand over your daughter’s back, which was rising and falling steadily. Mikasa shifted as she tried to worm away from you, Levi gladly taking her place.
“What will you call her?” Eren asked as he wrapped an arm over Mikasa’s shoulders. You swallowed thickly and looked back up at Levi who was still busy staring at your baby.
“Kuchel.” You said without hesitation, Levi seemed startled when he heard the name, and then his eyebrows furrowed as he fought to keep his face free of emotion.
“Yeah, that’s-” His voice cracked and he buried his face in the crook of your neck.
“-that’s perfect.” he finished his sentence and the kids all mumbled their agreements as they watched you push your dress aside to feed your baby, who was cooing and gripping at the seams of your dress.
“Kuchel.” You hummed as Levi stroked her back, her eyes cracked open for the first time, and you choked back a sob at the sight.
Her eyes were not grey, but a familiar (e/c), she had your eyes.
“Oh-” Jean choked back his own sob, biting his knuckles as he turned on his heel and buried his own face in Sasha’s shoulder as he cried.
“Jeanboy” Connie said teasingly, despite the thick emotion in his own voice.
“Let’s get out of here everybody.” Annie advised as she watched Levi thread his finger through his daughter’s as she began to suckle on your breast.
“Congratulations.” they all murmured as they took their leave. You relaxed back into Levi, finally able to be alone for the first time with your little family.
__
Lol I loved this, I used to want to be a labor and delivery nurse. But that was before I realized that Chem is NOT my friend. Anyway, sorry I couldn’t squeeze in someone fainting, but if you care I think that Jean would be most likely to. Only because he’s an only child and doesn’t know what child birth is like.
But seeing as how much they have been through in the canon universe I doubt that childbirth would be the most disturbing sight lol. Hope that you enjoy this! Requests are still open so send me stuff :)

Drs Styles
paediatric heart surgeon harry, husband harry and dad harry. honestly the holy trinity.
warning: they did it in the car. bloody animals.
Tumblr media
Harry
“Move your car, please!”
“What are you going to do? Write me a ticket?”
“This is in the interests of safety for the children!”
I look at the time in the car. I’ve still got about twenty to twenty-five minutes to watch this drama unfold at the school gate. I just wish we had popcorn because drop-off and parking situations at the school gates are always more entertaining than Good Morning Britain.
The school gate is a strange social scene, and honestly, I don’t blame my wife for trying to avoid it like a plague. Sometimes, you don’t even have to talk to these people to know everything about their lives and more. I swear there are more gossips in the class WhatsApp group and daily playground chattering than in the copies of The Sun and Daily Mail combined. You know who’s married, who’s getting a divorce, whose husband shagged the au pair again, whose party you haven’t been invited to, even who’s looking for a builder.
I see the school caretaker chuckling to himself as he sweeps the autumn leaves off the pathway, no doubt also enjoying our morning entertainment.
“Why is Mrs Chambers screaming like that?” Alma, our eldest daughter, asks from the back of the car.
“Because that man parks his car in a drop-off zone,” I reply, still watching him as he removes a child from his car seat. “Do you know who that is?”
“I think the boy is your classmate,” Alma turns to her sister.
Fiona, our youngest, peers over to inspect. “Oh yeah, that’s Rufus and his dad.”
“Do we like Rufus?”
“Not unless we like boys who pee down the slides,” Fiona scrunches her nose up. “He stood at the top and peed down like a waterfall. I haven’t gone down the slide ever since.”
I shake my head and let out a chuckle. “M’sure they’ve cleaned it up since, button.”
Did you know that choosing a school for your child after nursery can be a head-throbbing, stomach-twisting, heart-pounding experience? Well, it can. How is one supposed to choose a school anyway? According to the proximity? Leavers Results? Adorable uniforms? Parents’ agendas?
After many, many discussions and visits through more schools than I can count, we ended up with Thomas’s Kensington. It’s a great school, and only ten minutes away from our home, making school runs easier. The downside of this school is the fact that it costs us an arm and a leg and that they’re always trying to rip us off any chance they get. Also, they only take the kids until 11, so after that, we’ll have to look for other schools again. But since our girls are only seven and five, we can worry about that later.
There’s a strange mix of parents at this place. I went to school up in the North and the school gate scene is nothing like this. Here there are more au pairs, fancy cars, nicer clothes and people coming with impressive tans from their last weekend break in Antibes. The kids here are suited up too: the PE kit is the size of a small weekender bag, and we put them in uniforms that make them look smart, hoping that will increase the size of their brains. A child walks past our car with a cello case, another with a hockey stick. It’s a different land here. One that my socialist in-laws constantly tease us about and one which my mum was hysterical about because she was scared her grandbabies would be little Tories. I promised her I’d keep them grounded by only giving them plain hobnobs. None of those luxury chocolate covered ones.
Jokes aside, my girls are happy here. They’re thriving. They learn French and Spanish and Mandarin, even if they share a class with kids who have ridiculous names like Kitty and Archibald.
A knock at my window calls me to attention. I wind it down.
“Are you Fiona’s dad?” A mum asks me.
“I am.”
“It’s about Ophelia’s riding party this Saturday at the riding stables.”
Like I said, it’s a different land here.
“I thought we RSVPed to that?” I look at her in confusion.
“Yes, you did, but we have to change the food options as one of the partygoers is allergic to nuts. I’m making everyone aware and we need to let the guests know that they can’t bring any nuts on the day.”
A dirty joke is right there on the tip of my tongue and I’m trying my hardest to keep it in. My wife would definitely find it funny though, I’ve got to remember this and tell her later.
“Noted,” I mean, I wasn’t going to send my daughter to a party with a packet of cashews anyway but I nod politely.
“And just gift vouchers for gifts please. Smiggle, if you can.”
Again, I nod, biting my tongue at the presumptuousness. But then I suddenly panic, because we haven’t entered the realms of pony riding just yet. Do I have to buy jods and boots? If I don’t, will my daughter be the odd one out? But Ophelia’s mum saunters off before I’ve got the chance to ask.
“Do I have to go to that party, daddy?” Fiona asks.
“Well, we’ve already replied, poppet,” I tell her. “Did you not want to go?”
“I’ll go if I have to.”
I don’t answer because I get distracted by a vacant space. I edge the car forward so my girls can hop off.
“I love you both. Have a good day, make good choices.”
“Bye daddy! We’ll see you after work!”

Evelina London Children’s Hospital is our second home. Of course, as a children’s hospital, we try to make the place as fun as possible as not to freak those little patients out at being ill. It is bright and primary coloured, and each ward is decorated according to its own theme with different colours and lovely artworks. There are televisions and toys almost in every corner. We have a giant slide on the ground floor, and even the bins are shaped like red London buses. The aim was to help the children to forget that they’re in a hospital and take their minds off their sickness.
Since my wife and I are in the same department, our offices are next to each other, both overlooking the Thames. It’s nice up here. Would’ve been nicer if we could sneak in a quickie, but that’s practically impossible with our shared secretary’s desk sitting literally in front of our doors.
Speak of the devil.
“Good morning. Here’s your tea,” my secretary follows me into my office with a cup of tea and a tiny plate with a couple of rich tea fingers. “Clinic until 3 pm, scheduled PDA ligation in the laboratory for 4 pm and then evening rounds on the wards.”
“Mornin’ Rhonda, you look lovely today,” I greet her cheerily. She’s a stern-looking woman who definitely likes her tea as strong as tits and who has probably never cried in her life. With such severity, she runs a tight ship, but she secretly has this affectionate side in her too. Not only is she a great secretary, but she also takes care of us in a way as a grandma does. She makes us tea, feeds us in between surgeries with biscuits or nice baby cheeses and crackers just so we wouldn’t starve.
See that sofa over there in the corner of my office? Rhonda got me that. It was around the time when I had just become a new father with the sweetest, most gorgeous little baby who did not sleep. Alma wasn’t a fussy baby though. For some reason, she just wouldn’t go back to sleep after her midnight feed for months. Believe me, I tried everything. I changed her nappy, I swayed and jiggled and rocked and sung her to sleep. Odd nonsensical songs like, ‘Alma darling go to sleeep. Sleepy sleep sleep. Pleeeeease. I’m so tirrrred. My eyeballs may actually exploooode. I don’t want you to see thaaat.’ And she would just look at me all wide-eyed like I’d lost the plot. Those were song lyrics? That was rubbish. Please don’t give up your day job. Also, it’s not sleeping time. I’m awake. I’m ready for life. Come on, entertain me, old man. Isn’t this nice, just you and me? Tell me everything you know. EVERYTHING.
Except of course she didn’t say all that. She would just stare at me and I had no idea what was going on in her little head.
I took over my wife’s patients at the hospital during her maternity leave, so I had longer hours at the hospital. One day Rhonda found me napping on the floor between surgeries, so she sweet-talked some porters into looking for any old sofas on the go and paid to have this one reupholstered. She even bought me a fleece throw for it too. We really don’t deserve her.
“You hittin’ on me?” She deadpans. “Yer wife not doing it for you these days?”
“It’s the blazer. I’m a sucker for a blazer.”
“If I’d known, I would’ve worn it more often,” she replies. “Did my nice dress yesterday not give you the fanny flutters?”
“It’s schlong shiver for me,” I roar with laughter. “And it’s the tartan, makes you look well old.”
“YN, yer husband’s a bloody git, did I ever tell you that?” Rhonda says loud enough for my wife to hear, and I can hear my wife’s laughter from her office next door. “Drink your tea. Your first clinic appointment is in twenty.”
“Yes ma’am,” I salute her.
***
The Arctic ward in the Evelina is home to many of our imaging, heart and kidney services. The name is probably giving it away, but everything is decorated in blue and white to go with the theme. We have several zones, and since paediatric cardiology clinics are held in the Walrus zone, I spend a great deal of time each day looking at walrus and snowflake decals.
“Doctor Styles!” I hear a little voice shouts in excitement as I walk towards the waiting room in the outpatient ward. I smile, because I recognise that voice even before I see the little person.
The waiting room is very open here compared to other hospitals. There’s a sea of noise, snacks, tiny juice boxes and colouring pages. There’s also always a look of expectation, judgement on the faces of parents and guardians every time I walk in. They want to see if their doctor is old or qualified enough to see their children. There’s always one child who has the whole gang with them; parents, two sets of grandparents and even several aunts and uncles, and there’s also at least one child running around in circles out of boredom.
This little lad bounces off his chair and hurls himself at me in a way like a little puppy would when its owner comes home from work. I put an arm out, hoping that he’ll apply the brakes but no such luck and he bundles himself into my arms. “Nice to see you, mate.”
His parents smile as they watch their son’s antics, who then runs off as I shake their hands. I turn around to see what caught his attention, and I can’t help but chuckle when I realise it’s my wife.
“Doctor pretty Styles!” He exclaims excitedly as he bundles himself into her arms. She gets a mouthful of curls in the process.
“Hi Rory,” she greets him as she runs her fingers through his curly mop.
“Oi,” I pout as I walk towards them. “You don’t think I’m pretty?”
“Your wife is prettier,” he says with a shrug, his tone matter-of-fact.
She laughs and gives him a high-five. “Rory, you are officially my favourite patient.”
She is right. Rory is one of our special patients for sure. We’ve both known him for about six years now, ever since Rory’s mum gave birth to this tiny human next door at St Thomas and his heart was literally broken. I remember watching proudly from the theatre when my wife replaced two of his valves when he was born. It was in our early years of training. Long time patients like Rory almost always feel like family. We’ve seen all their parents’ tears and watched over their children throughout the years. They send us cards and wine every Christmas and despite all attempts to keep a professional distance, their kids do feel like our own.
Rory shrugs off his dinosaur rucksack and unzips it, pulling out a drawing of a blue whale and an opened packet of KitKat. I like that the whale wears a top hat and appears to also don a moustache.
“I drew you both a picture. Only one though, because I figure you can share,” he says with a big toothy grin and hands the packet of KitKat to my wife. “And I’ve got half a KitKat here. Do you want it?”
“I’m good for now. Keep that KitKat for later on the tube,” she smiles and waves at Rory as she begins to walk away towards the fetal cardiology ward just down the hall. “Bye Rory, thanks for the picture.”
“Bye doctor pretty Styles,” Rory replies, making my wife laugh as she walks away. I give her a wave and a wink.
“Hey Rory, did you know a blue whale has a heart the size of a small car?” I ask him and his eyes widen.
“No way! That’s mega!” He exclaims. “Do you think you could operate on a whale heart?”
“I would need a very big ladder,” I tell him. “And a wetsuit. I’d give it a go though.”
A senior nurse from the outpatient ward, Florence approaches us with a junior nurse trailing behind her. “Dr Styles, always a pleasure.”
I smile at her. “Florence. How are we today?”
“Busy as usual,” she replies. “We’re about twenty minutes behind I’m afraid. We had Dr Goodridge in this morning and you know he likes to talk.”
“He always runs over,” I chuckle. “Well, don’t worry. I’ll skip lunch and get us back up to speed.”
“I’ll make sure to send some snacks for you. Here’s your chart, your files are already in your office. And this is Alice, your nurse today. She’s newly qualified so might need some instructions.”
The new nurse looks terrified so I smile at her to try and calm her fears. I totally get that. When you work in medicine, unfortunately, you’ll realise that there are a lot of rude self-important wankers.
I look down at my chart and find Rory’s name on the top of the list. “Well, look who’s coming with me to the exam room.”
Rory reaches out to hold my hand and we walk towards the examination room. His parents follow us closely, carrying the usual coats and devices that people do when they know they’re bound for a hospital waiting room. I see them inside and sit behind the desk.
“So, young man, I hear we’ve had a touch of drama with you. Can you tell me what happened?”
I’ve actually already got the information in the file, but I like the way this kid tells a story. He reminds me of my youngest.
“So… I was at school and we were doing PE and I wasn’t really feeling it because it was cold and really we should have been inside but Mr Witter makes us go outside because he used to be in the Army apparently and he says we should get used to the cold but that’s what they do in prisons.”
I smile. “Go on.”
“And then my heart started running.”
“You mean racing?”
He nods firmly. Racing isn’t even the word. It sprinted to the finish like Bolt at 252 beats per minute, three times the speed it should.
“It felt like bubbles in my chest and then the school went crazy panicky and they called the ambulance and they brought me to the hospital but not this one, it was another one and it wasn’t as good because you weren’t there and they had really bad biscuit.”
His mum adds. “And they gave him some drugs to bring it back to a steady rhythm; they were close to shocking him.” Her voice trails off and both parents’ faces look drawn and pale remembering the incident.
Rory looks absolutely unbothered by this. To be fair, we have put this little man through everything. We’ve cut his chest open more times than is necessary for someone so small, we hook him up to machines and put him on treadmills. His resilience and character amaze me, and I really can’t imagine what it feels like to see your child so vulnerable and helpless, to be paralysed and weighed down with such worry.
“Alright then, little man, we need to make sure that your heart is working as it should. This is Alice, and she is going to take you over for an ECG and we just need to make sure your tick-tock is in good shape.”
Rory nods and jumps off the chair. His dad offers him a piggyback, and his mum smiles at them. I can hear Rory offering that half KitKat to Alice as they leave the room.
His mother turns to me as the door is closed, her shoulders relaxing, allowing herself to breathe. “And how are you?” I ask her.
“You just think it’s done and then something like that comes along to scare you,” she says with a sigh.
“Let’s have these tests and then see if it’s anything major to worry about,” I try to calm her. “Episodes of rapid heartbeat is quite common in Rory’s case, and we can look into drugs to remedy that if necessary.”
She smiles, nodding.
“Did you have any other questions for me?”
She studies my face for a moment too long. “I… well, it will show up in Rory’s records soon, but my husband I are… I mean we’re getting a divorce.”
I pause for a moment. Of course, I know these things happen in life, but I’ve known this couple for years. I’ve seen them at their lowest ebb, bound by friendship and their love for that boy. I really do feel sorry for them.
“Oh, I’m sorry,” I mumble.
“We just… we’re terrified about telling Rory.”
“He doesn’t know?” I ask.
She shakes her head. “We’re scared of breaking him. I mean, look at him. All of this stuff he’s been through and he carries on like nothing has happened. We don’t want to upset him.”
“It took a team of us the best part of six years to build Rory’s heart. There's a warranty on that workmanship,” I reassure her. “Have that chat with him. He’ll be fine.”
***
“Have we got time for dinner first?” I turn to my wife as we walk out of the hospital. We don’t normally have the luxury of ending our shift at the same time, but today is exceptional. We have parents’ evening at the girls’ school so Rhonda made sure to clear up our schedule after our evening rounds at the ward.
“No, but we can raid M&S and eat in the car?”
I’m starving and I almost cry with relief at the suggestion. “Always knew I married the right woman.”
She chuckles. “Damn right you did.”
We leave the car at the hospital and she drags me along the walkways to Waterloo, the breeze biting at our cheeks. I pull her into M&S, dodging the marching commuters and grab a basket.
“I’ll look for some wine,” she says before she saunters off. “Oh and I want sushi. None of that crap with the mayonnaise please.”
“Alright.”
I skipped lunch today so the whole place calls to me. I start taking very random things off the shelves: a packet of raspberry iced buns. That’ll do. I also take some hummus for my wife because she bloody loves hummus. I’m not even joking, I’ve seen her down a whole pot of it. Then I take some sushi as requested, some coleslaw, a family bag of mature cheddar and red onion crisps and a trifle. I hope I don’t bump into Rhonda. Next are cheese twists, noodle salad and cocktail sausages.
It takes me a while to notice that there is a man right next to me with a roll of yellow stickers in their back pocket. Hello there, you are one of my favourite people tonight. Have I managed to find that sacred hour when all the food is being marked down? He labels some prawns with dip and even though I get a little squeamish about eating fish near its expiry date, I put it in my basket. I then follow him around the corner. Now, this is dinner. I put all sorts of random food in my basket and smile at the thought.
Ooh, knockdown pizzas. I should get a pizza. That’s tomorrow’s tea sorted, the girls will love it. Although I can’t help but wonder, what’s the limit for us to feed our daughters frozen pizza in a week before they get taken away from us? But eh, we might be able to get away with it if we give them frozen peas on the side.
“Look at you,” says my wife, depositing two bottles of red in the basket.
“Yes, it’s me. I’m the yellow sticker bitch.”
She snickers as we turn to head for the tills. “Excellent work.”
***
“Mr and Mrs Styles, welcome.”
“Mrs Ebner, always a pleasure,” I shake the headmistress’ hand who’s standing at the door.
“Busy evening?” My wife asks her as she shakes her hand next.
“Always,” the headmistress replies with a smile, then proceeds to speak like she’s reading out of brochures. “But such a wonderful opportunity to connect with our parents and build on the special relationships we have with our school community.”
Two uniformed minions appear.
“Lewis, Maggie, could you please show Mr and Mrs Styles through to the drinks reception?”
They both nod in unison. The boy holds his arms out like a waiter showing us to our table. We follow them through the school’s grand corridors to the main hall. It’s the one thing I like about this place. It’s very Hogwarts-like with hefty engraved name boards and sepia photos of successful sports teams. In the hall, a throng of parents mill around waiting to see respective teachers. It’s the same every year. We all dodge the people from the PTA trying to sell us quiz tickets, and the bowls of crisps out of hygiene concerns.
“Red or white?” Asks a lady in an apron.
This right here is the very reason we get through parents’ evening. From the look of the bottle, it’s decent wine too. I think that’s where a good proportion of our fees is going.
“Red, please.”
We both take our glasses and walk to the corner of the hall. It’s essentially a holding area without the background music. The idea is that all the parents will get on and create a party vibe but it just becomes a strange family gathering. As terrible as it sounds, it’s sorted into cliques: parents who know each other via NCT groups, the international expat brigades who keep to themselves, the parents who’ve ostracised themselves by gossip, the ones who you know regularly brunch and ski together.
The boy from earlier suddenly appears in front of us. “Mrs Hughes is ready for you.”
I put my hand on the small of my wife’s back as we walk towards the classroom. Fiona’s teacher first and then Alma’s straight after. Right, we can do this.
“Mrs Hughes, we meet again,” I shake her hand. I’ve got no qualms about Mrs Hughes. She’s a seasoned teacher who likes a slack and sensible moccasin and we’re familiar with her since she taught Alma two years previously. When we enter the classroom, Lewis bows in reverence, taking his leave and I wonder whether to tip him.
“It’s always lovely to have another Styles girl in my classroom. Fiona is a particular delight.”
My wife and I smile proudly. I’m sure Mrs Hughes says this to every parent here about their child, but that’s always nice to hear.
“She talks a lot about you,” my wife says. “She seems to have settled in well.”
Mrs Hughes opens up a couple of books and it’s classic Fiona. Alma is ordered and neat—if she makes a mistake then she erases it completely and she underlines things with a ruler and listens to instruction carefully. She gets that from her mum. Fiona though, on the other hand, she’s all me. She has more wild abandon about her; no rulers, no rubbers. She puts giant crosses through things that don’t work and likes her bubble writing decorated with doodles of many, many cats.
I glance around the classroom as Mrs Hughes talks to us about standardised scores. The theme of the school is to show you how smart and educated these children are. Look at the copperplate handwriting, their reproductions of Van Gogh and our languages corner where they’ve all had a go at telling us what they like in French. I spy a contribution from my girl. J’adore les chats et le gâteau au chocolat.
I’ve lost track of the conversation so I try to catch up.
“So to push Fiona into those top scores, perhaps we can look into tutoring? For maths, in particular, so she can grasp some of the concepts a little more tightly,” says Mrs Hughes.
My wife and I look at each other confused. “Uh, I don’t think there’s a need, right? She’s only five.”
“It’s never too early,” replies Mrs Hughes. “We run an after-school tutoring club on Tuesdays that would help.”
Back when I was a youngster, clubs were fun endeavours that involved matching baseballs caps or were a chocolate biscuit that you had in your lunchbox. Maths tutoring session was not a club.
I ask her. “Is it free?”
“It’s fifteen pounds per session.”
See? My point being this should be a parents’ evening, not a sales session.
“Well, then it’s something to think about,” says my wife. “It could be that Fiona catches up with people throughout the year.”
“Possibly,” Mrs Hughes nods. Still, though, she proceeds to go into her folder and passes me a form. Sneaky. “Fiona has also shown great interest in languages and art. Her pictures have been a joy.”
Mrs Hughes goes to a file and pulls one of Fiona’s drawings. I glance down at it. It’s a standard child piece of art. The grass and sky are strips of colour to the top and bottom. It’s a family portrait, and we are as tall as the broccoli style trees. Wait, hang on a second. I count the number of people in the picture again. Is that-
“And Mrs Styles, I gather congratulations are in order,” she says with a smile. “Such lovely news.”
“I’m sorry?”
“Fiona told me it’s a boy,” she adds, and the sheer terror on my wife’s face at the realisation is priceless. “You must be very thrilled.”
I study the picture. There’s a house in the middle, and standing in a line in front of the house is our family. The one slightly taller than the broccoli tree is me. I’ve got my white lab coat, and I look like a serial killer because I’m holding a scalpel with the size of a butcher’s knife. Next to me is my wife, also with a white lab coat, but instead of a scalpel, she’s holding a very chunky baby who rather looks like a basketball with a head.
“Oh dear,” I chuckle. “Guess now we know what she’ll ask for Christmas.”
“Yeah,” my wife shakes her head. “We’re not expecting.”
“Oh, I apologise,” Mrs Hughes says with a sheepish smile.
“No worries, Mrs Hughes,” I tell her. “So, what else has our girl been up to here? Besides gossiping of course.”
Mrs Hughes laughs under her breath. “Well, in class, Fiona is attentive, bright and very helpful. She is a credit to you both.”
***
“I swear your daughter, Styles.”
We’re sitting in the car now. Finally done with parents’ evening, still laughing at the slightly creepy, chunky basketball baby in Fiona’s picture and the fact that three people, including Mrs Hughes, have congratulated us for the ‘baby’.
“You haven’t called me Styles in years,“ I turn to her with a grin. “Not since medical school.”
I can’t help but flashback to the good ol’ days when we had matching university hoodies and we’d test each other on the parts of a kidney whilst walking into lectures, sitting next to each other, sharing pens and cans of Lilt.
“Well, after that I became a Styles too,” she chuckles. “Would be confusing then, wouldn’t it?”
“True,” I laugh under my breath, then I grab her hand and pull it to my mouth so I can kiss her knuckles. “Thank you.”
“What for?”
“For being a Styles.”
“Aw, aren’t we soppy tonight?” She smirks. “Alright, stop the car.”
“What?”
“There,” she points to a dark empty spot and I oblige.
Then, before I can even ask her why, she reaches over and grabs me by the collar. Pulling me close to her and gives me a kiss. I kiss her back, and I smile when she bites gently on my bottom lip.
“Oi, oi. Something’s got you randy.”
The next thing I know, she undoes her seatbelt and then rolls her trousers down her legs along with her knickers, fumbling and giggling at the awkward movement. I push my seat back and pull my trousers down.
“Don’t fall on gearstick now,” I joke as she climbs over to straddle me. “Well, unless you want to, of course…”
She laughs as she lowers herself over my lap. I really can’t believe what’s happening here.
“Mrs Styles, we’re about to have sex in a car. Around the corner from our daughters’ school.”
“I know,” she says with a smile before she runs her tongue along my neck. “Not our first rodeo though.”
“Oh right, we did it in our Volvo years ago, didn’t we? Thought the suspension couldn’t take it.”
“And it turned out fine. Told you that you needed to have more faith in the Swedes, they’re a reliable breed.”
“I love it when you talk about Sweden.”
“Ikea.”
“Fuck.”
“Meatballs.”
“Billy Bookcase.”
She throws her head back in laughter and I take this as an opportunity to run my tongue along her collar bone. She gasps. I reach down to lift her before I slowly lower her over my cock. We both sigh as I enter her, a long exhalation with our lips barely touching.
“Viggo Mortensen.”
“Isn’t he Danish?”
“Tomato, Tomahto.”
I smile at my wife and push my hips up, silently telling her that we don’t need to talk about Swedish people anymore. She grabs onto the car seat and levers herself up and down. I look at her in the eye, a goofy smile still plastered across my face.
But then I squint. Light. Bollocks, what’s that? Where’s that light coming from? Crap, that’s bright. Shit. I see the flash of a hi-vis jacket, a knock at the window and someone shaking their head.
Oh sodding fucking bollocking shit wank.

Protective of the Princess
Tumblr media
Summary: Jo comes home with some unexpected news and Spencer isn’t a fan. (This is a stand-alone one-shot of my completed ‘Rebuilding Family’ series)
Pairing: Spencer Reid x Fem!Reader
Content/Warnings: mentions of little kids kissing, spencer freaking out, fluff
Word Count: 1.3k
A/N: based on this ask from @reidsbookclub and this ask from @samuel-de-champagne-problems
Masterlist
Spencer made it clear to Jo she could be anything she wanted to be growing up.
She would change her mind about her career path quite often but Spencer was always supportive. When she wanted to be a vet, she had a bunch of different stuffed animals to practice on. When she wanted to be an astronaut, you all built a rocket ship out of a cardboard box. When she wanted to be a scientist, Spencer got her a book set of kid’s science books.
One afternoon after school, Jo hopped up on the kitchen counter as Spencer was making her a snack and you were playing with the twins on the floor.
“Daddy, I can’t go to work any more,” Jo stated.
“Why not, Princess?” Spencer asked, sliding apple slices and peanut butter in front of her.
“I have a baby and husband now,” Jo explained.
“You got a baby and husband in one day?” you questioned.
“Thomas kissed me and then we got married under the slide at recess and now we have a baby. I don’t have time for work, Daddy,” Jo sounded exasperated.
“Thomas did WHAT?” Spencer gaped.
“He kissed me like you kiss Mommy every morning before work,” she demonstrated the little peck on her baby doll.
Spencer’s eyes widened, “Y/N, please help.”
You stood from the blanket where the twins were having tummy time.
“Jo, how about you wait until you’re a little older to start kissing people? A hug or high five can show love to. You can try that next time,” you suggested.
“Daddy says kissing is safer than handshakes though,” Jo reminded you.
“Nope! I lied! Kissing is very dangerous,” Spencer shook his head empathically, “Don’t kiss.”
“But we have a baby together,” Jo held up her baby doll.
“I see that. What’s their name?” you asked.
“This is Derek,” she informed you.
“You named him after your uncle? That’s very sweet,” you smiled.
“I want a real one so I can name it Penelope. I want to have a big belly like Mommy used to have. How are babies made?” she questioned.
Spencer grasped your hand, looking very pale, “Y/N, I need to lie down.”
“One second, love,” you squeezed his hand before turning back to Jo, “You can’t have a baby until you’re much older. Then, I’ll explain it to you, okay?”
Jo nodded.
“I need to take Daddy to bed. He’s feeling a little sick,” you told her, “You can play with the twins.”
“Actually,” Spencer slipped his hand out of yours, “I’m going to go for a drive. I’ll be back in a bit.”
You looked at him curiously as he leaned in for a kiss but then retreated under the watchful eyes of Jo.
You followed him into the entryway as he laced his converse up, “Where are you going?”
“I’ve never heard of a Thomas before until now. I need Penelope to check this kid out.”
“Check this kid out?” you laughed, “What are you expecting to find? A nine year old with a criminal record?”
“I need to make sure my daughter is safe,” he looked up at you seriously.
“Okay,” you relented, “You’re a great dad albeit very protective,” you kissed him goodbye.
“Are we going to start having to only kiss in private now?” you smirked.
“I don’t want her seeing and copying it at school,” Spencer sighed, “The last thing I want is to get a phone call from her teacher that our daughter needs to stop kissing people.”
“Okay, sneaking around could be fun anyways,” you smiled, giving him another kiss, “Tell the team I say hi.”
-
“Who does this Thomas kid think he is?” Spencer grumbled to himself as he was in the elevator, “Kissing my sweet little precious daughter. I should have him arrested. Maybe I don’t have the grounds for an arrest but I can show him my badge and scare him off.”
His ranting stopped as he knocked on Penelope’s door.
“Who is it?” she chirped.
“Spencer,” he replied, “I brought you a croissant.”
“It’s open!”
Spencer opened the door and handed her the paper bag.
“And it’s still warm!” she squealed, “You must really love me.”
“I do but I also need a favor,” he spoke.
“Name it, boy wonder,” she readied herself at her keyboard.
“I need you to look up a boy named Thomas in Jo’s class.”
“Is this kid bullying her?” she gritted her teeth, “I swear to god, I will reign hell down on this kid if he is.”
“No, it’s the opposite actually. He kissed her,” Spencer sighed.
“She already got her first kiss?” Penelope gasped.
“I know! I didn’t even have mine until 25,” Spencer replied.
Penelope clicked away at her keys, “We’ve got two Thomases in her class but according to the attendance record, Thomas Jacobson was out sick today meaning Thomas Bennett is our guy.”
“What do we know about him?” Spencer asked, crouching down to look at Penelope’s screen.
“Plays on the town soccer team, has an allergy to shellfish, good report card,” Penelope stated.
“Anything else? Any visits to the principals? Sketchy friends?” he questioned.
“I guess the sketchiest friend he has would be his imaginary friend named Robby the cowboy according to his mom’s facebook. He’s got a squeaky clean school record.”
“Let me see what this kid looks like,” Spencer desperately demanded.
Penelope gave him a look.
“Please,” he added.
The group class pictures of the past 3 years popped up on to Penelope’s screen. Each year, Jo and Thomas were standing next to each other smiling and laughing in various poses.
“He doesn’t look like much of a threat to me,” Penelope stated.
“Why hasn’t she ever asked for him to come over on a playdate?” he asked.
“She was probably scared her dad was going to embarrass her,” Penelope chuckled.
“She’s in 3rd grade! No boys!” Spencer crossed his arms.
“That rule is setting you up for a rebellious stage later in life,” Penelope rolled her eyes.
“So I just let this happen?” Spencer sighed, dropping into the chair next to Penelope.
“Yes, you’re supposed to protect her but not from nice boys who make her happy.”
“But she’s just my sweet little girl,” Spencer started to tear up.
“And she always will be but you need to let her live her life,” Penelope explained.
“I know. Thanks Penelope.”
-
You heard the car pull in while you were making dinner. You lowered the setting on the stove and made your way over to the door.
“Hey,” you greeted him, wrapping your arms around him.
“Hi,” he snuggled into the crook of your nest.
“Did you find Thomas on the FBI’s most wanted list?” you joked.
“No, he’s a good kid,” Spencer sighed in defeat, “I just don’t like the thought of her growing up. Then, she’ll eventually have to leave us.”
“That’s what being a parent is,” you whispered, “You love them, care for them, and prepare them for the world as best you can but then you have to set them free. But, I have good news for you,” you smiled.
“What?”
“You’re stuck with me forever,” you grinned.
“Thank god,” Spencer squeezed you tighter.
“Daddy!” Jo ran into the room, “Lion King is playing in theaters tonight! We need to go!”
“Okay, Princess,” he looked to you for support and you squeezed his hand, “Do you think Thomas would want to come?”
“Yes! He loves Lion King!” Jo exclaimed, running to go get ready.
“You’re a great dad,” you reminded him once again.
“I’m still going to be watching this kid like a hawk,” Spencer admitted.
“As you should,” you grinned, kissing him.
Soon enough, Jo came home next week saying she wanted to be a congresswoman and they were back to their old adventures.

a/n: once again,,, i love these hcs so much but i feel like omi was kinda ooc im so sorry (╥﹏╥) i hope u like these still!! i really enjoyed writing these, pls do tell me what you think (~ ̄³ ̄)~
Tumblr media
❀ he's been watching you for a while now— his team's manager
❀ everyone knew you've recently became a new mom— as well as how your child's dad went MIA a few weeks after you gave birth, left a note breaking things off with you and saying he wasn't ready to be a dad
❀ you usually had your mom or a relative take care of your baby while you went to work, but this time no one was available so you had to bring your son with you
❀ standing by the corner of the crowded cafeteria, he kept on glancing at you obviously struggling to pacify your baby
❀ he didn't like the piercing cries of the child in your arms so he decided to help you, or so he convinced himself
❀ in reality, he couldn't take seeing you so panicked anymore— it agitates him so much
❀ he was trying to remember what komori taught him about babies as he walked over to where you stood
"have you tried feeding it?" he asked nonchalantly, standing a good foot away from you as he tried to peer over your shoulder
"him" you replied, exhaustion and frustration dripping from your tone, "and yeah, i just did"
you sighed
"give me"
it wasn't everyday that sakusa offered help so you jumped at the opportunity, supporting your child's neck and back as sakusa took him, doing the same
❀ he laid the baby on his chest, gently tapping at his back
❀ after a few moments he let out a small burp the baby not sakusa skdka
❀ he handed your child back to you, now silently chewing on his hand, saying he "just needed to burp"
❀ your face felt hot, embarrassed that you had no idea
❀ sakusa just placed a hand on your head and smiled behind his mask before leaving, he knows you needed all the help you can get right now and he, albeit wordlessly, made sure you're aware that he's willing to provide that help
❀ since then he regularly drops by your apartment and helps you clean and take care of your baby saying he's just making sure there weren't any germs near the kid
❀ lets you take naps as he watch your kid— but not before taking a bath, he has spare clothes in your closet
❀ the team notices how he's always over at your place
"omi-kun you're always over at y/n's, might as well move in with her"
"if she wants me to, i don't see any problem with it" he said so casually it made you whip your head to his direction
"do you... want to?" he looked away from you without an answer, avoiding your eyes, "omi-kun do you want to move in with us?"
"i said, if you wanted to" he replied, still avoiding your gaze and cheeks tinted red
Tumblr media
❀ you met him at the wet market; well, your daughter did
❀ you noticed her run off while you were buying ingredients for your lunch and stocking up your fridge, quickly trying to catch up to her
❀ she was giddily running around, little 3 year old legs not taking her too far before bumping into a stranger's leg
❀ falling to her bum, your daughter looked up to see brown eyes looking down at her
"i'm sorry, are you alright?"
he helped the child up, holding her steady as he dusted off her bottom
by the time you caught up with the both of them, he already had your daughter in his arms, asking her where her mom was with a smile
"there she is!" she said with a giggle
"baby, what did i tell you about running off on your own?" you scolded her with a tired smile as kita handed her over to you, thanking him kindly
❀ after that encounter, he started to notice you more and more; in the wet market, around the neighbourhood, and in the topics of local grannies
❀ you moved in recently, shortly after your daughter's dad bailed out on the both of you, leaving you to raise her alone; or so he's heard
❀ he would always give you a soft smile and an acknowledging nod whenever you two see each other
❀ it wasn't until his grandmother asked him to bring over some vegetables to your house that he had the chance to have an actual conversation with you
"gran wanted you to have this"
"oh thank you very much", you beamed at him while taking the basket, "do you maybe want to come inside? i'll prepare some tea"
he was about to decline the offer, but the joyful look on your child's face the moment she sees kita convinced him to do otherwise
❀ the two of you talked over tea and snacks while your daughter sat on his lap, playing with his large hand
❀ you couldn't help but smile at the both of them, your daughter never one to be this playful with others, kita didn't seem too bothered either
❀ time passed and kita needed to go back home, much to your daughter's dismay
❀ he didn't want to upset your kid too much so it was decided he'll come back soon to play with her
❀ it became a regular thing for kita to stop by your house on his way home from the fields— spending time with you and your daughter slowly becoming routine
❀ he adored your child's little giggles and the way she insisted having him wear the flower crown she made, glancing at you to see you laughing at the sight had him imagining what life would've been like with the two of you
❀ till he realized he was already living that life— looking forward to seeing you both after a hard day of work at the fields, being greeted by warm smiles and a hug, eating dinner together and sharing laughter
❀ it seems like granny wouldn't have to wait too long for a grandchild
Tumblr media
❀ he noticed your 2 year old boy looking—staring, at him from across the restaurant he was having lunch at
❀ so of course he decided to make faces in an attempt to make him laugh
❀ he wiggled his eyebrows at the toddler, waving his hands and cooing— though he wasn't sure if the baby even hears him
❀ the boy decided that tendō pulling at his ears and sticking his tongue out was a winner, letting out a short giggle
❀ you had your back to tendō so you were surprised to see your child laughing when you looked up from your meal
❀ turning around to see tendō making the silliest face, you couldn't help but laugh as well, your son finding it absolutely hilarious and is squealing in delight
❀ tendō's face heated up in embarrassment from being caught but he laughed along nonetheless, shaking his head as you waved your son's tiny hands at him and mouthing 'hello'
❀ he thought you two were adorable so he decided to come up to your table
"you babysitting your nephew? or is that your baby brother?"
you chuckled at him, "he's my son"
"oh"
the redhead's brain buffered for a few moments, "i should get going then, don't wanna offend someone" he laughed awkwardly, hand scratching at his nape
"oh no, it's fine. you're not offending anyone" his eyebrows raised at your reply's implication, "mind taking a seat? my baby seem to like you"
"your baby has great taste" tendō smirked as he slid to the seat opposite yours
"so it seems" you said with a tone that sent a blush straight to his cheeks
❀ the afternoon ended with your number saved on tendō's phone under the name cute baby('s) momma🥺
❀ he texts and calls All The Time; asking how your kid is doing and wanting to see the both of you
❀ after a while of talking and going out, you asked him if he wanted to come over to your place for a visit and he was simply ✨ecstatic✨
❀ spent the whole afternoon crawling around your living room chasing your son, squeals and giggles echoing throughout your house
❀ you've never seen your son be this comfortable with anyone that isn't you and you're just grateful that tendō adores your child as much as your child adores him
❀ when tendō walked up to you— your son in his arms, sleeping soundly on his shoulder, you offered to take the child but he refused and opted to pull you close with his free hand
❀ he leaned against the kitchen counter, both you and your son in his arms as you asked him in a whisper, "can you stay?"
❀ understanding what you meant was more than staying for the night, he answered with a definite "for as long as you want to, of course" before pressing a kiss on your temple

Feeling like a family
Summary: Y/n visits Harry during his lunch break, letting him in on the relationship both her and Milo have with Xavier. Then they go to the zoo and have a little family day :)
warning/ disclaimers: swearing, family issues.
Things have been going amazing with Harry and Y/n. Ever since their date a couple weeks ago they have been seeing each other more and more. Harry has been coming into her bookshop while she’s working when he can. Just to surprise her and make her day a little better, sometimes he brings her lunch on the weekends and she visits him when he is spending hours after school hours grading art work and setting projects up for his students.
It’s been new and exciting, and extremely fun. Not to mention the kissing has definitely been a plus. They went to have coffee with each other a couple days after their date, spending a good portion of the morning together. They have basically been inseparable since, Harry even invited Y/n and Milo over for dinner so they could all get to know each other better. Loralie was just excited to have guests that weren't family, and also to see a friend from school outside of school. She had a great time with Milo, they played together while Harry and Y/n cleaned up dinner together and snuck kisses in the kitchen.
It's another Wednesday. Harry had Loralie and Milo's class now and he is letting them finger paint. It’s mainly been a calm class, he didn’t have to deal with much usually and if a kid did have a melt down the teacher and/or teachers assistant would deal with it instead of making Harry deal with it. “Looks great, Lora,” Harry says, kissing the top of Loralies head before scooting past her and walking over to his messy desk. He has papers, projects, markers, paints, all over his desk, even with all the time he spends after school he feels like he may never get it organized.
“My mummy likes your daddy.” He hears, looking up to see Milo and Loralie talking. His cheeks turn crimson when he hears it, did they really give it away that easy? Their children now caught onto the fact that the two were dating? That was just embarrassing. “My daddy likes your mummy.” But that was more embarrassing.
Harry ignores it (and the burning in his cheeks) and just hopes that the teacher will hush the class. He busies himself with cleaning his desk, trying to shove the papers into the drawers and file folders that they belong to but his mind is still distracted. He’s gonna have to tell Y/n that their kids know. The bell rings and he looks up from his desk. “Okay, you can leave your paintings where they are. I'll put them on the drying rack and you’ll get them tomorrow!” Harry sings, moving over to Loralie to kiss her cheeks and say a goodbye until he sees her at lunch time. “Bye daddy” she says, waving to him after kissing his cheek and joining her class.
Harry laughs, letting out a sigh and putting the messy finger paintings on one of his many drying racks. It’s his lunch time now. He has to supervise lunch so he gets his break before everyone else.
He wanders around his class room, doing random things and cleaning up his messes that he’s made from the two days of the week before him. He didn’t have plans for lunch, he would probably just have an extra big dinner. He’s happy to find Y/n cured his rumbling tummy when he sees her walking through his classroom. He smiles, chuckling at her big dramatic smile that was obvious teasing. “Hi, darling.” He says, leaning over his desk to press a kiss to her lips.
She sits on the art table in front of his desk, setting two to-go boxes down. “Hi,” she says back, handing him one of the to-go boxes. “No sitting on the tables.” Harry teases while he reaches out to take the white Styrofoam box in his hands, quickly thanking her. “Suck it up.” She shrugs, her feet setting in the chair that was once tucked under the art table. “I just got you a sub and fries.” She says, plucking a chip from her box and taking a bite out of it.
“Why Are you here? Not that I’m not happy to see you, of course.” He smiles, reaching over and giving her hand a squeeze. She shrugs, tapping her shoes down on the chair while she pulls her food into her lap. “I forgot to put Milo's' lunch box in his backpack so I had to drop it off.” She says, making Harry smile. So he thought she would have lunch with him? She’s adorable. “So how’s your week been, babe?” Harry sings, sitting back in his big office hair and relaxing into it while he eats.
“Fine. Milo's dad visited.” What?! Since when did he come around? And since when was he “Milo's dad” and not “Xavier”? Harry knits his brows, gulping down his food before he responds, a little nervous. Harry and Milo are best buds, they have grown closer and he’s tried to pay him more attention when he sees him in class as well, he doesn’t want their friendship to be ruined now, even though what he is thinking is selfish. Milo deserves a good daddy.
“Since when does he come around?” He asks, Y/n rolling her eyes at his tone. “He’s a photographer so he’s always traveling the world. I mean he pays child support, he’s not a shit dad. I just have my own issues with him.” She says, her tone heavy with annoyance. Harry was under the impression that he was a horrible dad and didn’t even try to care for Milo, but now he hears he pays child support and visits?
“I just thought he didn’t care.”
“Well… he’s trying. Like I said he’s traveling the world so he can’t always see him but he pays child support and he’s trying to come around more. He did come over and take some cute photos of Milo though.” Y/n smiles, remembering how her baby posed so well for the camera. He was shy at first but then they found a stray kitty out on a walk and he was more than willing to pose with it.
Harry nods, taking a bite out of his sub. He finishes his bite and wipes his mouth with the brown paper napkins, “Is he gonna take Milo for the night or something like that?” Harry questions. Y/n is happy that Xavier is trying to see him more but she doesn’t think she would be able to be away for a night, especially when he doesn’t see Milo that much anyways. “I don’t think I would be comfortable enough to let Milo stay with him, for now at least. But he’s flying off and leaving Friday so I don’t have to worry.” Y/n confesses, taking a bite of her sub while she waits for Harry’s response.
“Yeah, I understand that.”
They eat together before Y/n deems it time for her to go. Giving him a hug and a kiss goodbye before she heads out and opens the book shop back up, letting Harry finish out his day.
*********************************************
Harry and Y/n had made plans to take their little ones to the zoo. Y/n told Harry that Milo had been going on and on about lions so it was the perfect time for them to go. Harry has packed up Loralies stroller, putting snacks, his wallet, and her diaper bag in the bottom carrier. Luckily (but also unluckily) Milo is at the age where he does not want to be in a stroller, every time Y/n tries to put him in it while they are out he complains and tries to get out of it the whole time.
Harry had picked them up, driving about an hour to the zoo. Milo and Loralie babbled to each other the whole ride which made their parents happy- meanwhile they were just humming to the radio and making small talk the whole ride.
“Are you ready to see the lions?” Y/n coos to Milo, pulling him out of his car seat and setting him on the ground, holding his hand so he doesn’t run off in the car park. Harry pulls Loralie out, pulling out her stroller from the back, preparing to put her in it. “No! I walk today.” Loralie says with a bit of aggression in her voice. Harry hands with his hand up defensively, “okay, but you're gonna want it after walking in the heat for hours.” Harry takes her stroller despite her not wanting to be in it, she takes Harry's hand instead, walking next to Milo.
Their first stop is the stingrays, getting the food from the people who work there then getting down in front of the large pond to pet their slimy skin. Milo and Loralie giggle the whole time, pulling their hands away as soon as they feel like slimy stingray and making dramatic gross faces that make their parents laugh. The kids definitely had fun feeding them and petting them but Harry and Y/n instantly shipped them off to the bathroom so they could wash their hands.
Next is the walk through aquarium, “come on, it's this way.” Y/n says, cooing down at Milo and fast walking toward the cave shaped aquarium. When they walk inside it's lit up blue. They look all around them and they see lots of fish, big whales, all different things. “Woah!” Loralie exclaims, making Harry laugh, kissing her cheeks. All of a sudden Milo breaks out in loud giggles, pulling at the length of her mom jeans. “Mama, Look!” Milo giggles, pointing to a fish sticking to the aquarium glass, looking like it's making a silly face at everyone. Y/n laughs, squatting down and wrapping her arm around Milo, resting a hand on his belly. “Let's go see them” Y/n says, pulling him up on her hip and kissing over his cheeks. She takes him over to the silly fish while Harry lets Loralie look around, staring above her at the large fish swimming by until she stumbles back. Harry catches her, standing her back up and taking her over where Milo and Y/n are, showing her the fish that Milo was trying to touch through the glass.
“He's so cute.” Harry compliments, laughing at how Milo's is so obsessed with the silly looking fish. Y/n turns to look at Harry, thanking him cockily- taking all the credits for his adorableness. Harry bumps his nose with hers in a butterfly kiss while their kids are looking straight ahead. He gives her a peck while the kids are still distracted then he turns back to the fish. “Okay, it's time to go look at the animals!” Harry cheer, pulling Loralie off of the ledge she was standing on.
They walk through the entrance of all the animals, seeing some monkeys. Loralie and Milo start to imitate the monkeys, giggling at each other and the animals. They move onto koalas, waving at the cuddly animals before they get to see the lions- this is what Milo has been waiting for. “ROAR!” Milo yells, trying to climb on the wooden fence between the people and lions. Y/n giggles at him, pulling him off the fence and on her hip. “You’re a baby lion, aren’t you?” Y/n coos, kissing his forehead. Milo nods before she pulls him in her hands, extending him out. “Nants ingonyama bagithi Baba!” She sings, making the boy giggle, roaring again before she pulls him back in, kissing all over his face, making him squeal and push away.
Meanwhile Loralie wants to pet the real baby lions. She’s got a frustrated face on since Harry didn’t let her climb over the fencing and pet the furry lions. Harry can’t help but laugh at her. They walk a bit more, walking for a while until they go to their next exhibit.
It’s all calm until Milo starts screaming. He sees a bird wandering free, it was a large blue bird with huge feathers framing its head. Y/n knew that the peacock was harmless, they wouldn't let it wander free if it was, but Milo was gonna be scared of it regardless. “No, no!” He yells, backing away from the bird, trying to scold it for just walking around. Y/n laughs while Milo grips onto her leg, wagging his finger at the bird and yelling at it for scaring him. “It’s not gonna get you, bubba.” She laughs, pulling him into her hip while they get to the penguin house.
They walk into the cold penguin house, their noses instantly crinkling from the smell. “Brrr” Loralie says, running her arms up and does while her teeth chatter. Harry laughs, tossing her little jacket over her shoulder to warm her up. “Look at the baby penguin.” Harry coos to Loralie, holding her up to the glass so she can wave at the little puffins. “Tiny!” She squeals, waving at the baby penguins.
“Yeah,” Harry laughs at her. “They are tiny, Lora.” He agrees with her, giving the back of her head a kiss before settling her back down on the ground, letting her wander off a few feet away to look around at the penguins a bit more before they leave and look at the polar bears.
After the polar bears, they head to the gift shop, Loralie gets a purple bucket hat with a blue monkey on it and a stuffed penguin she named “tiny”. Milo got a shirt of the name of the zoo and a matching stuffed penguin that he couldn’t choose a name for just yet.
They head back to the car, Loralie’s legs are tired on the walk but she refuses to go in her stroller, instead Harry holds her while they take the long walk back, one arm holding Loralie up to his hip and the other latched with Y/n’s hand while her other hand holds Milo's. Once they get to the car Loralie and Milo get buckled up in their car seats, sure to fall asleep soon.
Harry and Y/n get into the front seats, their hands instantly finding the others. “I had a nice day with you.” Harry smiles, his face only inches from hers. Y/n blushes, giving his hand a squeeze. “Yeah, I had a lot of fun.” She says, focusing on Harry’s thumb rubbing at the back of her hand. They hear little whispers and giggles, turning their heads back to their little ones. “Kiss, kiss, kiss!” They whisper- chant. Their parents' cheeks instantly burn, looking back to each other with big cheesy smiles on their faces.
“Well?” Harry shrugs, leaning in and pressing his lips to her. She giggles on his lips, both of the kids in the back yelling. “Ew!” Loralie says. “Gross!” Milo agrees.
The parents laugh, pressing one last peck to each other's lips before Harry starts up the car. They had a good day together. Harry got closer to Milo and Y/n got closer to Loralie. It kinda feels like they are becoming a little family.

𝐣𝐚𝐦𝐦𝐲 𝐟𝐚𝐜𝐞 — mason mount
summary: on Mason’s day with Sydney, you have one strict rule: no messy or sticky food. but you end up coming home to a child and kitchen covered in food.
notes: with the prompts, it’s going to have a weird timeline of ages and genders. in some prompts, the baby will be newborn, or a toddler, or even a kid. sometimes it’ll be a boy, and sometimes it’ll be a girl.
REQUESTS ARE OPEN!
8. Little one getting food all over their face + 36. Little one leaving sticky fingerprints on everything they touch.
“Don’t let him play outside all day, it’s going to get really hot this afternoon.” You instructed, pulling your heels on as you sat on your bed. Today was one of the rare weekends you had work, and nobody else was free to cover. Which meant you’d have to sacrifice your time with your footballer husband and one-year-old. Mason hadn’t had a day yet of just him and Sydney, so you were running him through a few rules.
“I’ll be back at around 7, depending on how quickly I can get through my paperwork,” you mentioned, Mason following you downstairs like a puppy, but you quickly turned and stopped in front of him, “and for the love of God, no sticky food.”
“I’m not a sitter. I’m his dad, I think I have this.” Mason encouraged himself, but you knew how forgetful he was. He’d forget his head if it weren’t attached to him.
“I’m not doubting you, but it’s for my own sanity that you don’t give this kid honey, syrup, or anything gooey and sticky. Do you know how long I spent on my hands and knees scraping honey from the floor and highchair?” You exclaimed, rushing around the foyer to collect your things for work. Keys, bag, phone, folder.
“No,” Mason smirked, “but I can only imagine what that looked like.” His hand reached out to pull you closer, sliding down to your ass and squeezing it gently. You flicked his forehead and pulled yourself apart, rushing over to your son in the high chair.
“Goodbye, Syd.” You cooed, kissing him on the cheek a few times. “Mummy loves you, and have fun with daddy today. Look after him.” Sydney let out a few giggles, going to reach for your clean top with his banana-covered hands, but you quickly swerved out of the way.
You had gone over to the door, turning to give Mason a kiss. “If this goes well, you won’t have to imagine me on my hands and knees.” His mouth had dropped open slightly, smacking your ass on the way out and forcing you to release a squeal. “Bye, bubs.”
“Bye, have fun at work.”
Mason was having a good morning so far. You had left at 9, and he’d given Sydney breakfast, cleaned him up, got him dressed, taken him to the supermarket for some dinner ingredients, and let him have some time in the sun. But now it was getting to 3pm, and Sydney was having nothing.
“Come on, Syd.” Mason groaned, cradling his one-year-old, who had been crying ever since he came inside. “Are you hungry?” Sydney continued to cry, but this time looked up to his dad for a brief second. Mason, taking that as a yes, put his son into the high chair and scoured the kitchen for food.
“How about some jam sandwiches?” Mason suggested and turned to his son, just settling down after realising he’d be eating soon. He’d make the sandwiches, and even cut the crusts off, putting the finished product onto the tray of the high chair. “You stay here, I’m going to pick up the mess you made in the living room.”
He was shoving toys away into the corner box, his phone ringing on the coffee table behind him. It was you, you were on your second break and thought you’d check in. “Hey, bubs. How’s work?”
“Great. I might be finished earlier than 7, I’m zooming through my paperwork.” You replied, sat at your desk and scrolling through your hours worth of work.
“That’s my girl.” He added, proud of his wife who continued to prove herself every day to him, her drive was the sole reason he was attracted to her.
“How’s Syd? He’s not in the hospital being treated for severe wounds, is he?” You joked, leaning back in your uncomfortable office chair. With an office to yourself and a great view, you were aloud to freely talk to your family and friends with some privacy.
“Very funny. He’s just having a snack right now, I’m cleaning up his toys,” Mason answered, standing up and going back to the kitchen to check on his son. Only to be met with a child covered in strawberry jam. His hands, face, even his hair was covered in it. But the bread pieces were nowhere to be found. Mason thought he might have just eaten them, and made a mess of himself.
“Uh, oh.” Your son babbled, which you’d picked up on.
“Why did Syd just say ‘uh oh’, Mase?” You questioned, sitting up from your relaxed position. Mason must have done something for even Syd to realise was wrong.
“Not sure. Maybe he heard it in a song,” Mason panicked, frantically searching for the wipes. “See you soon, bubs.” Throwing his phone onto the counter, he pulled a chunk of wipes from the packet and began scrubbing his son’s hands and face. No amount of wipes would fix his hair, so he’d just have to have a bath.
“Does Syd want a bath?” Mason asked enthusiastically, holding his arms out and picking his son up. He was still sticky and reeked of strawberry jam still, he wondered if the smell would ever go away.
An hour later, Syd was finally clean and watching tv in the living room whilst Mason cleaned the kitchen. This boy had touched EVERYTHING. The countertops, the floor was covered in hardened jam, some was even flung at the fridge. Mason was on his hands and knees for almost half an hour, scrubbing the jam from the kitchen.
You hadn’t texted to say when you’d be home, so hearing the familiar tyres on the gravel was strange. He peeked through the window, spotting you getting out of your car. It was 6.50. Mason’s eyes widened, deciding to call it a day on cleaning and through any signs of jam into the bin.
“I’m home, bubs.” You called out, seeing your son comfortable on the couch. “Hello, mister. Did you and daddy have fun today?” Your son held his arms out, which you accepted and lifted him, carrying him into the kitchen with you. Mason was now chopping some ingredients, trying to act casual about having to clean jam from the kitchen and your son’s head and hands.
“Uh, oh.” Your son repeated, making you frown. What on Earth is he seeing? You looked around, putting your son down and walking slowly around the kitchen to assess any potential damage. Finally, you go to pick your son up but see him pointing at the counter, saying ‘uh oh’ once again.
And that’s why. “Bubs, where is there bread stuck the the side of the counter?” You questioned, Mason’s eyes widening as he threw the onion cuttings in the bin.
“I wouldn’t know.”
You peeled the bread off, seeing nothing other than jam on both the bread and counter. Sighing, you grabbed the sponge and anti-bac. Mason caught sight of you beginning to clean, immediately stopping you.
“No, bubs.” He grabbed the items from you, putting them above the fridge so you couldn’t get them. “I’ll do it. Go and sit down.” You just huffed, picking Sydney up and cradling him in your arms.
“What was the one thing I said, Mase?” You asked.
“No sticky foods. I know, I’m really sorry.” He replied, heart dropping at your tired face. You carried Syd to your bedroom, deciding to let him settle in there.
Half an hour later, Mason had emerged to see Sydney asleep on your chest, and you were both snuggled into his blanket. A quiet cartoon in the background. He couldn’t let that image go without snapping a picture, and then taking Sydney into his own bed. You were awake when Mason had returned, scrolling through your phone.
“Bubs,” he quietly spoke, sitting beside you. His hand was rubbing up and down your bare leg, testing the waters to see if you were actually mad at him. “I cleaned the kitchen, I made dinner. Are you okay with bolognese?”
“Yeah.” You nodded, stretching your legs and turning off the cartoon you’d listened to over and over again. “I’m sorry that I got mad, I just know what a mess Syd makes and I didn’t want to get home to it.”
Mason pulls you into him, your legs over his lap and arms tightly around his shoulders. “I know, I should’ve listened to you. But I cleaned it up, no more jam. Ever.”
“It was funny though. Before I fell asleep, I just had the image of you on your hands and knees scrubbing it.” You laughed, poking his chest, “but it’s fine. And thank you for doing everything today.” Mason grinned, lightly kissing your temple and looking down at you.
“I don’t know how you do it, honestly. Respect is due.” Mason whispered onto your lips, hovering over them every so gently. “Thank you for looking after our baby everyday, and allowing me to come home to dinner and a tidy house. You’re special.” Finally kissing you, Mason held you tight for the rest of that evening, showing you pictures of his jammy face and what they got up to throughout the day.

You’re My Dad (Boogie Woogie)
Fandom: Avengers Pairing: Peter Parker & Male!Reader Summary: You are my dad! You’re my dad (boogie woogie woogie) Word Count: 1,507 Request:  hello! how are you? can i request a platonic peter parker x male reader where reader likes to take care of peter, like cook him meals, give him snacks when he's studying or just give him snacks when he sees peter lounging. and maybe reader and tony are dating A/n: You sent a hefty request, hopefully I got everything in - I really hope that your cousin will enjoy this though!
Tumblr media
Peter Parker was no stranger to death.
His parents were killed when he was a young boy and his uncle was shot when he was only a teenager. He only had his Aunt May until he didn’t. She was driving back from work and got in an unfortunate accident.
Peter Parker was no stranger to death, but that doesn’t mean he didn’t have a family.
Tony and you took him when you heard about the accident. Peter was still a kid, he’s still a teenager and you wouldn’t stand for him to go to foster care. You have known Peter since Tony asked him to join him in Germany. How Tony asked if Peter if he wanted to intern under him.
After all, you were Tony’s boyfriend for quite a while so when Peter slept over at Tony’s house, you were there. You would cook meals for your two science boys and remind them to take a break from their long science experience. Peter saw you and Tony as father figures, the men he really looked up after his Uncle Ben had passed away.
Tony didn’t have the greatest childhood, he vowed to himself and you if you happen to adopt that he will be the best father any child could as for and you’ve seen him pick up calls from a lovely boy called Harley, which you have met a few times, and will always drop anything to have a conversation. You saw how Tony acted with Peter, to see pride and joy, you couldn’t help but smile at your boyfriend.
You had a great childhood, you grew up with loving parents and loving yet bratty siblings. Your childhood wasn’t quiet and always fun - your parents valued making memories with their children, so your parents took you and your siblings to sporting events, festivals (age-appropriate), holidays. They were strict, but you could recall how they let you sleepover with friends and bring friends over, you can remember how they let you go to concerts with your friends and/or siblings.
You kept that family love in your heart and Peter really felt it.
Peter wasn’t much of a sports person, but when he was in the presence of you and Tony, he doesn’t mind much.
“Listen, kid,” You say, ruffling his hair, “You’re part of the Avenger family and you’re a superhero with wicked abilities - you know for the fact that Rogers and Romanov will not go easy on you in training.”
“He’s right,” Tony calls from behind, not looking up from his work as Peter groans.
“But, you could totally avoid intense training if you told them that you do sports with me, nothing too heavy,” You smiled, as Peter thinks it over.
“Like what?”
You shrugged your shoulders, “I don’t know, we could play baseball? The good all hit and run style. Or maybe volleyball, you pick the sport that week and we’ll do it.”
“Do you even have the equipment?”
You raised an eyebrow, “Peter, honey, you’re currently in the home of a Stark - you think Tony doesn’t have these things on standby.”
“I don’t know, he doesn’t seem to be an athletic type.”
“I heard that!” Tony exclaimed as the two of you laugh.
When Peter moved in for the final time, Peter felt like he was somewhat out of place. He had a room at the Stark-(L/n) residence and he would spend nights, if not weekends, at theirs but he felt like he was intruding. It was a sudden change in Peter’s environment.
And yet, he felt warm in the house, whilst it really messed with his head for the past few days - you and Tony were slow with the process. You never pushed him out of his comfort zone. You helped him put up the stuff of his family around the house to allow him to heal.
You weren’t in The Avengers, so you had a lot of free time. Instead of working in an office, you created things to sell on the internet, it was a hobby because Tony insist you live a lavish life. But, that doesn’t stop you from working around the house. Peter was often met with delicious smelling food, whilst you had a rule that he would cook his own lunch if he didn’t have school and you would cook dinner for everyone.
You, Tony and Peter, would sit down together with each other, talking about Peter’s day at school and how Tony is dealing with things with Avengers and Stark Enterprise despite Pepper being in charge of that. Even after eating, sometimes you’ll dig into some dessert and talk about shared interest such as music and shows.
If you guys are watching a series together, you’ll update them on lore or when the next episode is being dropped out. If it’s about a shared interest in music, you would happily indulge in what music has been released recently.
Peter and Tony will happily clean after dinner, one will washing up and the other doing drying.
“You know we have a dishwasher right?” Tony called through as he hands Peter a soaked plate.
“And?” You called back, “It’s called responsibilities, I will not have lazy boys in my house!”
Peter chuckled as he put the plate down and takes the wet glass, he doesn’t mind the chores you ask him to do. You teach him lessons in life because sometimes just hanging around with you felt like home to him.
“You know how to work the washing machine, right Pete?” You asked, standing in the doorway of his room looking at the floor of dirty clothes.
“I’ll pick it up - I promise, but, um not really? Aunt May usually go to the laundrette.”
“Alright, when your laundry basket gets full, I’ll show you how to work the washing machine and dryer. I don’t mind doing your washing but every now and then, you can do it.”
“Yeah, that’ll be fine!”
When Peter fully settles into the house, he found himself loving his life. He loves watching you bicker with Tony about the stupidest things - mostly over characters in a show or film. In which, most of the time, he backs you up because the two of you are major geeks over shows and movies.
Peter noticed how much you care for him, knocking on his door and reminding him to drink water and always coming to his room to deliver snacks ranging from a healthy plate of the juiciest fruits to unhealthy sweets.
Whilst both of you were in Peter’s life, he saw you more as comfort - it was taking a while for Peter to adjust with Tony, he still see it as a mentor and student sort relationship. But, with you, he sees someone who he could come to for any troubles with school and relationships.
Peter walked into the living room, hearing how you and Tony were bickering over which character was better in Game of Thrones in each house. Peter couldn’t help but laugh about it.
“Hey, kid! Tony greeted with a wave, placing the hand back on your shoulder.
You smiled at Peter, “Heya Pete!”
“Hi Mr Stark, hi dad!”
Silence.
The only thing that was playing was the show in the background as Peter stood in his spot in utter fear. Tony sat there in silence as he looks over at you, you slowly got up from your seat without saying a word and made your way to Peter.
Peter looked at you with wide eyes, “I- I mean...!”
You engulfed him into the biggest hug you could muster. One hand on his back and the other in his hair, Peter found himself relaxing as he immediately wrapped his arms around you and grip you tight. You brushed his hair as he buried his face into your shoulder.
You release him, in fear that you might suffocate him, “I’m really honoured.”
“I-” Peter turns red, looking down for a moment before looking at you, “You are my dad, to me.”
You smiled widely at him, “Okay, celebration time, let’s bake cookies!”
You lead the way as Peter offers to help, the two of you pull your sleeves up as you bring the ingredients onto the counter. Tony followed, silently watching with a fond smile upon his face. He ruffles Peter’s hair with a smile as Peter beams at him.
“Alright, what can I help with?” Tony asked as you asked him to bring out the kitchen utensils, “Oh and Pete?”
“Yeah?”
“What about me?” Tony pouts as Peter widen his eyes as you laugh loudly.
“Tough luck baby, it looks like Pete favours me,” You teased as Tony scoffed.
“No, unacceptable, I’m taking Peter for a week out, I’ll be the favourite parent.”
You roll your eyes as you look over to Peter whilst Tony rant, shaking your head and nodding your head towards your boyfriend, as you mouthed to Peter “Get a load of this guy.”
Peter smiles.
Peter knows death, but he’s well acquainted with family.

mickey (5:34pm): better hurry the fuck up 😏
🫂 hug headcanon
it's no secret that mickey wasn't as free with his physical affection as teddy-bear ian gallagher was. franny was the only exception for awhile. she hadn't known any other version of mickey than her fun-loving uncle mickey. he had too much of a soft spot for little red -- the girl practically throwing herself at him whatever chance she got. what was he supposed to do? tell her no? not that he wanted to, either. he loved the little bugger, even if her mom could be a pain in the ass sometimes.
what came as more of a surprise was liam. liam had always been the baby, but he also knew how to read a room and when to keep his distance.
one night, liam had come home late after an evening of frank shenanigans, and begun his homework at the kitchen table. ian was already passed out upstairs, and mickey came down for a late night snack.
he unscrewed the lid to the jar of processed yellow cheese, dipping round tortilla chips straight into it -- crunching loudly.
"whatcha workin' on?"
"gotta study for my math test tomorrow. frank kept me out most of the night."
"oh, i could help you with math if you wanted."
"i thought you dropped out of high school?"
"don't need a high school degree to do 4th grade math, nerd. 'sides, i practically ran my house and family businesses -- i could do this shit in my sleep."
"really!?"
"yeah, kid, whatchu got?"
-
they studied together, eating almost the entire jar of cheese and bag of chips between the two of them, until liam was yawning so much he was making mickey tired.
"go get some sleep, man, i'll clean up."
liam nodded sleepily before trudging up the steps.
-
the next evening, mickey was standing in the kitchen, sipping on a beer and watching ian and lip argue about the stupidest shit when the front door flew open.
"mickey, mickey! i got 100% on my math test!" liam nearly knocked mickey over with the speed that he hurdled into him, hugging him tightly for a moment before his eyes widened. "oh, shit, sorry mick!" he began to pull away until mickey wrapped his arm around the kid.
"hey! good job, einstein, 'm proud of ya," mickey smiled down at the boy.
"thanks," liam said sheepishly as he ran upstairs to discard of his backpack.
--
the following week, they were having a movie night. it was some war movie shit that ian likes but liam would hate. the kid wanted to watch anyways. mickey plopped down on his corner of the couch while ian was digging through the cupboards to find his secret stash of twizzlers. liam sat on the cushion directly next to mickey, a plate of tortilla chips with cheese in hand.
"we can share these if you want," he murmured quietly, unsure.
"oh, sweet! that sounds fuckin' great," mickey shoved a chip in his mouth.
ian stood in the doorway frowning at the kid that took his spot on the couch next to his husband. mickey just nodded his head to the empty cushion on the other side of liam. ian sat and reached over the back of the couch to poke mickey's neck with a twizzler, just to be annoying.
about halfway through the movie, plate of chips now empty save for a couple crumbs, liam began drifting off, bobbing his head. mickey pushed the kid a little bit so he was more comfortable leaning against mickey's shoulder.
ian silently 'awwww-ed' and mickey just proceeded to flip him off. but it felt good to have kids around that actually liked him.

I miss you
Pairing: Jensen x Reader
Warnings: None
Summary: Jensen is your boyfriend. Your in Texas while he's in Vancouver shooting for Supernatural. While on set he face times you for a little to see how things are going.
Tumblr media
You haven’t don much today besides clean. Jensens parents had the kids and you sat at the house bored out of your mind. You made some popcorn and grabbed a few more snack and sat on the couch watching until your phone started to buzz. You looked down to see that Jensen was trying to facetime you. A huge smile grew on your face. You missed him, it had been weeks since he left. You picked up your phone and pressed the green button.
~ Facetime Call ~
“Hello” You say.
“Hey babe” Jensen says smiling.
“Hey, what are you doing?” You asked him.
“Well i don’t have another scene for an hour or so, so i figured i’d call you” Jensen said smiling softly seeing your face in the camera.
“I miss you” You say and sigh.
“I know (Y/n), i miss you too, just a couple more weeks then my work here is done” He smiled.
“Good because i don’t know how much longer i can take not having you here” You said giggling.
“Where’s the kids?” Jensen asked.
“Oh, your parents wanted to take them out to the carnival today. I dropped them off earlier” You smiled.
“Oh, i’ll just have to call my mom later” He chuckled.
“So how have things been?” You asked smiling, knowing how their set is you doubt it’s been easy to get through any scenes.
“Well busy for one and Jared isn’t making it any better” Jensen says laughing.
“Yeah i bet, i know how he can get when you guys are filming” You said and chuckled.
“Earlier we were shooting a scene in the bunker. It was me, Jared and Misha. Once Misha walked in the door Jared threw a pie right in his face and i’m not gonna lie i took part in it as well” He said laughing.
“Oh my god, why’re you guys so mean to him?” You asked and chuckled.
“He’s fun to mess with, speaking of, here he comes right now” He smiled and made a face into the camera then turned the phone to Misha. He saw you and smiled then waved.
“Hey (Y/n)!” He said.
“Hey Mish”
"How are you" Misha asked.
"I'm good, i heard about what Jared and Jensen did to you earlier, you need to get them back" You said.
"I can't they are always one step ahead of me" Misha says.
"I’Il help you out Mish" You said.
"Hey, your gonna turn against your own boyfriend" Jensen said, pretending to be offended.
"Yeah, I will if you keep abusing my best friend" You said.
"She likes me better" Misha bragged to Jensen while chuckling.
"Great first she turns against me and now your stealing her from me, my god" Jensen said, shaking his head.
Misha had to go film a scene with Jared so he said goodbye and left.
"Don't worry Jensen, I would never leave you, i love you to much to do that" You said
"I know (Y/n), I love you too baby girl" Jensen said smiling while blowing a kiss through the phone.
The reason he called you baby girl is because he knows what that does to you. He knows what he does to you. He always finds a way to use it against you. You and Jensen talked for another hour but you had to say goodbye so that he could call his mom and speak the kids.
Damn you loved that man.

surrogate au: how did minayeon introduce sana to the quadruplets as their mom
sorry this took a while!
“Nervous?” Sana couldn’t help the sigh from escaping her when Mina asked her that. She was so beyond nervous. She was meeting her daughters for the first time as their mother. Ever since Mina and Nayeon had asked if this was something she might want, Sana has been a nervous wreck. Momo and Jihyo had reassured her it would be fine- Saki already loved her and the other three never seemed to hate her. But that didn’t stop Sana’s mounting nerves. She was worried they wouldn’t want her because they already had moms, worried they would tell her she already had a daughter, worried they would be mad at her. Sana’s mind was working overtime to think about all of the anxieties rushing through her.
“A little.” Sana giggled, hands betraying her as they shook.
“Don’t be. I’m sure it will be fine.” Mina smiled, taking a sip of her tea.”They love you already.” “I’m just- what if they don’t want me? Or what if they think I replaced them with Nico? Or- what if they are mad because I was gone. What if they think-”
“Shh.” Mina put a finger on Sana’s lips to shush her and Sana could not help the blush that blossomed on her cheeks. “You’ll be great.” Sana relaxed at that. Mina was not the type to sugarcoat things. Nayeon was the same way. Sana thought that was maybe one of the reasons that drew the two together in the first place. “Thank you.” Sana sighed, her shoulders dropping. “Are- Is there anything I need to know?” “No, but I can introduce them all a little, if it will help you calm down a bit..” Mina shrugged. “You know Saki already. Sae is the most timid, so don’t be offended if she seems a bit more, apprehensive towards you at first. She’s pretty quiet overall, but she likes video games. Recently, she’s gotten into Minecraft. Nayeon calls her my mini me. She says we even look alike. Saya has a lot of energy, and she loves snacks and soccer. She struggles a little more than the others in school, but she’s been improving a lot. Sai is Nayeon’s little mini me. She has quite a bit of energy too, and she can encourage the others even if they aren’t doing the best thing. She loves dogs and she plays the piano, and she has a pension for getting into trouble with Saya and Saki. She’s actually really sweet, and will take care of the other kids when she thinks we aren't looking.” Sana smiled at all the information she was getting. She had heard most of it from Saki, but it was still nice to hear from Mina herself.
“Thank you.” Sana sighed.
“Course. Nayeon should be home any minute with them. In the meantime… Why don't you tell me about your little one?” Sana could tell Mina was just trying to use conversation to distract her from her nerves, but it was appreciated.
“Nico is so cute. She was born in October, and she just started crawling around. Momo and I have so much trouble keeping up with her when she decides she wants to go somewhere. We’ve recently had to put baby gates in like every room. Jihyo takes her three nights a week now, and Momo and I usually spend our nights off trying to clean a little.” Sana giggled at thought.
“I can imagine the chaos. Imagine that times four.” Mina smiled. “Sae was usually not very adventurous. Saya and Sai though… God and Saki would just follow them wherever they went. We gave up on going anywhere but home with them, they were a little too chaos to be anywhere at that age.” “I bet that was hard.” Sana smiled, even if thinking about it made her a little sad. She missed that part of the kids' lives. She missed the crawling, the teething, and everything after. “It was. But I bet with you here, it’s going to get easier.” Mina smiled. “It takes a village to raise kids, right?” “Right.” Sana took a deep breath, letting Mina’s naturally calming presence wash over her. Really, she had missed this, so much. Being able to think about Mina and not being angry was like a breath of fresh air. One Sana never knew how badly she needed it.
xx
“We’re home!” Sana tensed again when she heard one of the girls yell. “Ka-san! Where are you? You said there was a surprise.” “We’re in the kitchen Saya.” Mina answered, giggling at the expression on Sana’s face.
“Yay! Oh- hi.” Sana turned to see Saya standing in the entry to the kitchen. Her backpack was still on and she looked shocked to see Sana. “Miss Minatozaki!” Sana wasn’t given much other warning when Saki ran up to hug her. Sana smiled, and accepted the hug, putting a hand on Saki’s back. “What are you doing here? Wait- Am I in trouble?” “No no. You are not in trouble Saki.” Sana nodded. “I’m here to see all of you.” “Why?” Saki asked.
“Go get your others sisters and we will explain everything.” Mina told Saki.
“Ka-san!” Sana bounced over to Mina. “I’m hungry.” “I have some apple slices ready for you.” “I want chips.” Saya whined.
“You know the rules Saya, you can only have chips after school on Fridays.” Mina reminded, moving Saya’s hair back into its proper place. Sana couldn’t help but think that Saya looked a lot like Mina. She guessed she was probably her sire. She guessed Saki was Nayeon, as there were too many facial features she had in common with Nayeon. Sana knew they had been using both of their seed while doing IVF, but she was still a little shocked the kids had different sires. “Fine.” Saya whined. “Ka-san only lets us have potato chips on Fridays. Isn’t that so sad?” Saya turned to Sana once Mina had stood up to get her snack.
“I can hear you Saya.” Sana giggled at the interaction.
“Chips aren’t very good for you, even if they taste super yummy. Apples will make your body and your mind happier Saya.” Sana answered Saya. “You sound like Ka-san.” “Your ka-san is pretty smart.” Sana giggled.
“I got Sae and Sai!” Saki proudly declared as she came into the kitchen. Nayeon was behind her, holding multiple backpacks looking like they were used for sporting equipment.
“Hello.” Mina giggled as she grabbed some of the bags, gently putting them down next to the entry to the kitchen.
“Hi.” Nayeon giggled and leaned forward, kissing Mina quickly. Mina used to get a lot more tense when Nayeon showed affection around Sana, but it seemed that Mina still felt just as comfortable about it as she had towards the end of their time together before the quads were born. She looked perfectly relaxed as she reciprocated the kiss.
“They do this everyday.” Saya whined to Sana, sitting next to her at the table. “So gross.” “You won’t say the same thing when you have a person to kiss Saya.” Nayeon teased. “I don’t want to kiss anyone.” Saya stuck her tongue out.
“Kissing is gross.” Sai agreed. She and Saki were crowded around Sae, who was playing on her switch very intensely. Sana wondered if the three even knew she was in the room anymore. She was happy Saya was talking to her at least.
“You won’t say the same thing in ten years. We will have to keep you girls from kissing.” Nayeon teased. “Or maybe keep them from kissing you.” “Let’s not get into that right now love.” Mina reminded. “We do have a guest.” “Of right, sorry. Hey Sana.” Nayeon giggled. Sana could imagine this was how days usually went with them. She couldn’t help but think they were such a cute little family. A part of her was worried she would mess it all up. Mina and Nayeon seemed to think she would be okay though, and she was just going to believe it. “Girls, put the game down. We need to talk about something.”
“Can I beat this level?” Sae asked.
“After we talk, yes.” Sae whined, but put her switch down.
“Can I have a snack before we talk?” Saya asked.
“Oh yes yes. I’ll get some apples and water for all of you. Sana, do you want anything?” “No, I’m okay.” Sana nodded. “Thank you.” “Course. Give me one second.” Nayeon sat next to Sana at the dining table as Mina left to prepare everything. “Miss Minatozaki?” Saya got her attention.
“Yes Saya?” Sana asked.
“Why are you here? I thought teachers stayed at school.” “Well I don’t live at school.” Sana giggled. “But, I- there’s something we need to tell you guys.” “Did you bring Nico?” Saki asked excitedly.
“No, she’s at home with her mama.” Sana nodded, watching as Mina gave each of the girls a plate of apple slices and a cup of water. Once Mina was seated, she took a deep breath. “Okay, so this isn’t easy.” Sana started. “But, your Ka-san, mama, and I felt like this was the right time to tell you girls. You all know what a birth mother is right?” Sana waited until all the girls had nodded before she continued. She could feel her courage quickly fading as the girls stared at her. She felt her breath hitch before Nayeon took one of her hands, gently squeezing it. Sana was expecting the action to make her more worked up, but weirdly it calmed her. “Well… I’m your birth mother.”
“What?!” Sae seemed taken aback as she looked at Sana. “I knew it! You owe me five dollars Sai!”
“I do not!” “Do too!” “Girls please.” Nayeon interrupted Saki and Sai’s argument. “I’m sure you have a lot of questions for Miss Minatozaki, so let’s go one at a time. You can raise your hands, like in school.” All four of their hands immediately shot up. “Yes Saya?” “So if you're our birth mom, does that mean you had us in your tummy at some point? Like how Auntie Seoyeon had a baby in her tummy?” “Yes, I did.” Sana nodded. “Okay. Saki, what’s your question?” Nayeon asked.
“Does that mean Nico is my sister?” Saki asked. “Cause we would have the same mom.” “I mean-” Sana looked to both Mina and Nayeon for the answer. Mina and Nayeon both nodded at her, before Nayeon spoke up.
“That’s called having a half sister Saki. So Nico and you have the same biological mom, but different mamas. So your half sisters.” “So I’m not the youngest anymore?” Saki asked excitedly.
“I guess technically you aren’t.” Nayeon shrugged.
“Yes!” “Sae, what’s your question?” Mina asked, moving the conversation to Sae.
“Why did you leave?” Sae asked. “I mean if you're our mom, why were you gone?” Tears rushed to Sana’s eyes at the question.
“That’s… Kind of our fault Sae. The three of us got into a really bad argument. And we agreed it might be for the best for everyone if we were apart.” Nayeon explained.
“It had nothing to do with you. Any of you.” Tears threatened to spill over as Sana talked. “It’s just- adult things.” “Like what?” Sae asked.
“Miss Minatozaki was Mama and Ka-san’s surrogate.” Nayeon started. “Since Ka-san and I couldn’t have kids on our own because we are both alphas, we needed someone to carry our baby in their tummy before we could have them. Miss Minatozaki was nice enough to offer to carry you girls in her tummy so we could have you. But right after you were born, we had a huge argument about legal things. We all did bad things, but we are trying to make up for it now. And if you girls are okay with it, Miss Minatozaki would like it if she was in your life a little bit more. Besides being Saki’s teacher.” “It’s okay if you don’t want me to.” Sana added. “It’s completely up to you girls. I know it’s a lot to take in.” “You girls are welcome to take as much time as you need.” Nayeon continued. “We just want you girls to know that your birth mom is here, and she wants to form a relationship with you girls if you want.” “I have a question.” Sai waved her hand. “Yes Sai?” “Why are you telling us this now?” Sai asked. “I mean, you’ve been Saki’s teacher for like a year now, Miss Minatozaki. Why now?” “I- it took all of us- me, your Ka-san, your mama- some time to apologize and be comfortable with each other.” Sana felt Nayeon squeeze her hand as she continued. “I know I’m six years too late. And I’m really truly sorry I’ve been away. I love you girls, I always have. And it took all of the adults some time to not be stupid, but I’m just hoping I can begin to make ammeds for how this has effected the four of you if you will let me.” Sana answered. “I know this is a lot. I will let you girls process for a bit, and we can talk again some other time.” “No Miss Minatozaki stay.” Saki whined.
“Saki, what’s the magic word?” Mina reminded.
“Please stay.” Saki begged. “I want to talk more now.” Sana looked to the other three girls, who looked at her with the same expression as Saki.
“Is that something you three would want?” “I mean anyone who thinks chips are yummy is cool.” Saya shrugged. “And I want to ask some more questions.” Sai added.
“Sae, are you okay with it?” Sae nodded quickly, clutching tightly to her switch. “Okay then, I suppose I could stay for a bit.”
Sana did not mean to stay all the way past the girl's bed time. The girls just had a lot of questions and wanted to tell Sana so many things. But she was happy she heard them, and she tried her best to put all of it in her long term memory. Some of it was really sweet things like how they had always thought she was cool and how they had wanted their birth mom to be like her. And others were random things like how Saya didn’t like vegetables or how Sae got really sick when she ate nuts or that Saki’s favorite stuffed animal was her dinosaur. Towards the end of the night, the girls had give her a full tour of the penthouse, and Sana pretended like she hadn’t lived here for a couple months before the girls were born. It did look quite different though in their defense. Sana liked how it looked now, it looked so much more lived in. Even if it was messier and more chaotic, you could tell people lived here. A family lived here.
And Sana was just happy for the chance she was given to be a small part of that family.
