I had trouble getting into Epic: The Musical without the visual aid of the animatics as visuals help me absorb the material. I kinda wish he would upload each song with the lyrics and animatics in them instead of just the animatics by themselves without the full song, but maybe that’s just me. I’m an audio and visual gal otherwise I have trouble absorbing information. Besides the streams there’s no current way to watch the musical seamlessly with actual visuals and yet it is called a musical. A medium I’ve kinda expected to have visuals by this point, that was my one big criticism going into this series was “so it’s just songs? And I have to watch the script as I listen to know what’s happening? That’s hard to keep up with.”

Though if this is a consistent change going forward of having the full musical with visuals until the next iteration premiers, then great & honestly my only criticisms are a lack of trans voice actors (seemingly but I could be wrong) and a lack of fat characters in the animatics because Aphrodite was fat in her depictions throughout history in the very least. Which I’m not even sure if this counts as a criticism so much as an observation and something that gives me a bit of pause? Again, not series ruining, but just more an observation I guess?

That being said, I’m super excited for the Vengeance Saga tonight! Probably gonna stay up just to watch it! Sleep be damned I wanna see it as it comes out! 💜

Edit: Okay actually not risking tummy issues by napping and can’t stay awake any longer. If I have tummy issues I couldn’t even watch it as it premieres anyway because I’d be fighting for my life in the bathroom. ANYWAY DON’T GO ATTACKING ANYONE INVOLVED WITH THE PROJECT, I WAS JUST MAKING AN OBSERVATION.

Ok so Kana loves Aqua as he is and really does not want anything in return from Aqua, she doesn't put him in a pedestal or idolizes him intensely. To her he's an idiot and an idiot that she has a crush on. She banters w him, calls him a gloomy narcissist, and asks him to tell her jokes. To Aqua, Kana is that window to normalcy that he has, he's just a teenager w her and he doesn't have to act or walk in eggshells w her. He shines a light on her darkest moments and she is his light. They can be who they are with each other, Kana doesn't have to hold her tongue, Aqua doesn't have to act around her. In fact when Aqua is asked by Kana if he hates her he answers "It's actually the opposite.." like sir who are you fooling🤨🤨

Adding smth to this, Kana comes home to Aqua's sweet nothings. Aka Aqua would never demand perfection from Kana. Kana doesn't have to pressure herself to reach Aqua's expectations, she's perfect as she is.

Idk exactly when it happened but this past week I've been getting really obsessed with Mormonism/Lds church for no apparent reason

And I've been yapping about it to everyone I know and they are done with me. I like learning about religion and different cultures but this snuck up on me.

I spent the first 20 minutes of my therapy session just telling my therapist about Mormonism and the mormon church (Its free were I live (Uk) so don't worry I wasn't wasting money) and she's a student so our sessions are recorded so idk what her teacher is gonna think of that, I mean they might learn something I guess.

Btw when I say obsession with mormonism I don't mean I want to convert, there is a lot of stuff in their doctrines I am adamantly against but they are such a...fantastical denomination of Christianity so it's really interesting (don't think theres anything wrong with Lds members just parts of the doctrine and how that may influence bigoted beliefs)

I learned there are a surprising amount of Mormons where I live, (converts) and I can remember when I would go walking with my friends seeing men who were, most likely on recollection, mormon missionaries in McDonald's. There was also this diagram of the mormon life cycle I guess (before birth, mortal life and after life) drawn in chalk on a path by the river and bible verses written on other paths and I can remember seeing it and thinking it was just some rando. It's kinda funny tho to imagine the missionaries with their crispy white shirts and slacks writing in chalk on the floor.

Also somehow this has morphed into me watching documentaries about the Flds denomination

I know way more about Warren Jeffs than I need to and my friends are going to hear about this.

Zestial is one of the very few individuals that Alastor flawlessly shows respect to, rarely ever wanting to step on their toes. Perhaps tease them a little bit and prod their mysterious person for answers, but Alastor has grown familiar with them over the decades to give them some trust.
