#Lesson 21
*We fell on Satan?????*
This is funny if we're assuming we're a sheep like in the comic. It's horrible if we're assuming we're in human form. And even worse when I picture it with my middle age male dad bodied MC, Jack. My Female MC is less problematic. But Jack would break him.
Either way, poor babe.

Obey Me: Nightbringer - Lesson 21 spoilers
I know it's possible that Mammon's behavior is related to an intensification of his associated sin or something, but I kinda wonder if it's actually Michael. Given the way Michael portrayed Raphael, it would be in keeping with his acting skills to be just a bit...off.. like that.

Sports series and their lessons
SLAM DUNK: Ball is life.
HAPPY!: Ball is life and sex workers are great babysitters.
PRINCE OF TENNIS: Ball is life but a big responsibility because you might accidentally cause a mass extinction event.
KUROKO NO BASUKE: Ball is life and fistbumps are dangerously powerful.
FREE!: Water in large quantities destroys lives and the battle between a well-done coming of age story and capitalism and fanservice will give a director no choice but to seek solace in emotional devastation and violent action scenes.
HAIKYUU: Ball is life and volleyball is made up.
REAL: Ball is life and legs are optional.
ROBOTXLASERBEAM: Ball is life and it's important to teach this lesson to robots before their uprising so we have common ground.
YURI ON ICE: Getting shitfaced to meet your idols will only benefit your personal and professional life.
ALL OUT!: Ball is life and if you embrace this you can overcome your physical insecurities.
SK8 THE INFINITY: You don't have to be the best at something if you're enjoying it with someone you love and if there had been skateboarding in England in the 1880s JoJo's Bizarre Adventure would have been much shorter.
OOKIKU FURIKABUTTE/BIG WINDUP: Ball is life and your pitcher's health is paramount because if he is injured you have to take him to the outfield and shoot him like a horse with a broken leg.
TEPPU: There is no point in sports if you don't draw blood and excessive Jean Claude van Damme movies will permanently alter your sexuality.
EYESHIELD 21: Ball is life and Satan rules.
MEGALOBOX: No matter how dystopian the future, people will always want to gamble on the outcome of two men punching each other.
HIKARU NO GO: Ghosts are real.

I have a qustion regarding the new lesson did asmo charm work on mc ? If you refuse to help them with magic?
Hello, anon!
Yes, I think that’s exactly what happened. I didn’t talk about it in my post on this lesson, but it was definitely something I noticed, too.
The exchange is pretty brief but it seems like Asmo used his charm power and that it worked on MC.
Tumblr media
I think this is supposed to be another indication of MC losing their power.
Which doesn’t make a whole lot of sense to me because iirc in the OG they just had some kind of immunity that wasn’t necessarily tied to their magic.
So this could be a retcon situation. They’re implying that MC’s immunity to Asmo’s charm is related to the strength of their magical power, which is currently dwindling.
I suppose it’s possible that MC is only pretending to be charmed since this version of Asmo doesn’t know about their immunity. But I kind of think they would indicate that in some way?
It’s also possible that it could mean something else entirely that I just haven’t thought of. But the most likely scenario to me is that due to MC’s magic weakening, they are no longer immune.

Scene from Chapter 1
[Story takes place after the events of Part 3]
Jotaro throws a China cup at Shizuka during their first encounter. The actual scene is more serious than I make it sound here. Shizuka is asked by her homeroom teacher to visit Jotaro after he's been skipping school for a month to tutor him on all the missed lessons. She goes over there, comes across the photo of the Crusaders in the desert and Jotaro throws the cup at her so she doesn't touch it. Since Shizuka knows nothing about what this photo means, she runs out of there thinking Jotaro is crazy, because who throws a cup at someone for seemingly no reason?
It's not the best first impression, but Shizuka never had a good opinion of him to begin with, so this encounter just made things worse. In her mind, this act of aggression consolidates his reputation as a violent brute; this good-for-nothing delinquent known as Jotaro Kujo is simply a danger to society. And since he's not the type to bother explaining himself, nor does he care what others think of him, it's easy for misunderstandings to grow between them.
Poor Shizuka, she deserves better. And Jotaro needs a timeout in a bathtub of ice.

Okay...
Well, that lesson came out of nowhere. No promotion, no buzz, nothing.
Because of that, I'm tempering my expectations. It might just be the last leg of the story they should have included in the previous season, but they couldn't justify squeezing it in for some reason. We're still focused on the pacts to get back home, but now we have a two-month window within which we must do it (before the official founding of RAD), or else MC/Solomon will lose their magic and it'll all be for naught.
Interestingly enough, I think we could simply ask them for the pacts right off the bat and be done with it. Therefore, they're going to have to create conflicts to prevent that from happening right away. Mammon's acting out by being overly greedy, so that might set the trend... Levi becomes super envious, Asmo super lustful, Beel super gluttonous, etc. If it's all tied to them being avatars now, I'd like to have some clarification on what that entails, finally.
I also want Nightbringer to be involved and resurface (he's been absent for a while now), but it doesn't make sense for him to create these obstacles for us to overcome and become closer to the brothers anymore. A good portion of them have all but declared their love for us already. If anything, he should probably be helping us overcome these problems so his plan can get off the ground more quickly.
Mind you, I don't think we're returning to our timeline. There's no way they're going to make us bond with these versions of the brothers and then just cast them aside. I'm fully expecting another timeline merge at the end, like what we got at the end of S1.
Hopefully, the journey to that conclusion is at least interesting.
