I sketched up Malice and Alex now need to test color these two.

Just a test color of Malice and next is Alex in red.

Color Ref ---------- Ginger Root or tan maybe a mixture on the skin and feet with black eyelashes on face. Black whites of eyes with light blue pupils. White Buck Teeth with a black inner mouth. Raspberry purple tentacles and dress with black added. Tetacle eye belt is light purple with black ('s and white with black lips shaped eye on belt.

This is the traditional art version of Vince Collins Alex and Malice.

Got them done but it was kind of tricky to put both characters on the same background but I managed.

I could only add a few light blue construction paper stars to the picture with a gel marker outline added.

Alex be shifting forms though and trying to get the in between forms.

lots of idioms probably survive into the wasteland in Fallout but there's gotta be at least a few that the Vault Dwellers/Ghouls/Sole Survivor say which would sound absolutely insane to a normal person

i think in-game they do say 'wild goose chase' but imagine that one getting reintroduced to the lexicon by some ghoul 100 years later

I've actually gotten to kiss a handful! A fun mix of adult and cub Kodiaks and black bears. (All hand-reared, well-socialized bears born and raised in captivity please dont try to kiss wild bears guys. I shouldn't have to say that but this is tumblr so I am)

The thing about bear kisses is that they are great because the whole time you're struck with the awareness that the only reason you're getting away with it is because the bear likes you and is letting you. Granted the bear cubs got kissed whether they wanted to sit still for it or not. It's good socialization to be cuddled and waddled around by a strange woman who keeps smacking kisses on your face.

(as for the wolf, her name was Twister and she got so excited to see me once that she launched up to give ME kisses and my short ass arms were no match for her determination. Wild enthusiasm + Wolf Velocity + Short arms = Chipped Front Tooth from Excited Baby desperately trying to lick my face. She's been the only Wolf Launch I wasn't able to intervene in time lol. In addition to chipping my front tooth she also smeared just. SO much mud onto my face that I was basically unrecognizable) Thank you for the ask!

rain king!

this episode has such a special place in my heart because i was taking “intro to weather and climate” when i watched it and i was exhausted after like 7 hours of doing weather lab homework and came home to watch txf and the episode was about weather lol. and it makes me laugh so much

the rain king is such a classic classic x files episode in that the setting and the case and mulder’s theories are all very silly but it just has such an enjoyable energy to it, and it has a cast of supporting characters who are so memorable.

season six is talked about a lot as being the season of the “fanfic tropes”, and the rain king is one of the more prominent examples, making it also an example of what makes season six stand out to me so much. season six is a twisted romcom, with every trope warped by the overarching narrative of the season.

this episode follows a man whose unexpressed feelings towards the woman he loves have built up so much over the years that it’s spilling over into rain. it's spinning around them in tornadoes. it's freezing into hail.

mulder and scully are mistaken for a couple by everyone they meet in this little town. they have to share a motel room. there was only one bed. the climax of the story is at a dance in a high school.

and mulder spends the night in her motel room doing nothing but talking about cows, then gives dating advice to a meteorologist the next day. scully gives a speech in a bathroom about falling in love with your best friend. about how those are the best relationships, about how a switch just flips, and suddenly they're the only person that you could ever imagine yourself with. and then goes out and stands awkwardly next to hers.

these are the most delusional people in the world, you truly can throw every trope at them and it won't make a dent.

they'll stand under the downpour of repressed love, feel the consequences of harbored feelings, and hop back in the car to the airport. it's so delicious.

and don’t ever forget the added context of s6, that through all of this, scully wants to have his babies SOOOOO BADDDDDD

I asked him what his name is and the answer was Alex.

He also said this  "that guy is just somebody you might find in those old retro comic books..........."

I imagine Alex being a shapeshifting comic book owner.

I made the signature the cup he shapeshifted to.

I first saw his video from off the air the Death episode.
