I think a lot about Leo’s tendency to push his way into the spotlight despite clearly being a natural in the shadows. Hell, you could argue that his worst moments are when he’s forcing himself onstage, and his best are when he does things no one notices until it’s already been done.

ok but can we talk how in Legendary, Antinous asked a question. he’s being as rude as possible but “when’s your tramp of a mother going to chose a new husband” is a question. a question that Telemachus does not want to answer. and yeah, the immediate follow up of “why don’t you open her room so we can have fun with her” makes it seem rhetorical, but rhetorical or not, it’s definitely a question. and I’ve always wondered why Telemachus is offended by ‘tramp’ when the ‘why don’t you open her room’ thing is a million times worse. 

But what if Telemachus wasn’t offended that Antinous called Penelope a tramp? The suitors have probably been saying stuff like that for ten years, he’s used to it. What if, more than anything else, Telemachus wanted to make them forget about the question they asked? What if he was just trying to distract them?

hey are we gonna talk about how in 2.8 how during The Fight when Sauron says The Line it was with Halbrand's accent. everything else was in that uber-creepy gentle elven-accented Annatar voice but that line was Southlands again. Hey Sauron that was fucked up even for you buddy.

His real feelings: "Obviously there's a very sad death at the beginning of season 1, which um- which is uh- rightfully angered a lot of fans. Umm-- you know Elden uh- Foggy will be sorely missed."

The PR line: "But I think if you're coming back after 6 years [etc etc blah blah blah]"

He's done this several times in interviews now. He always starts with how it's sad/unhappy, followed by the same "we need to shake things up and have danger" line. The first part has varied a bit, but the second part is almost always the same. Notice how he said "rightfully angered". Not "understandably angered". RIGHTFULLY. Remember, this is the guy who in a very early interview flat out said he still wasn't convinced it was a good idea. And in his Gold Derby FYC interview he sandwiches the PR line between "It's hard to even know who Matt Murdock is without Foggy Nelson" and "that's what was decided at a much higher level than me".

Something kind of new is how much he's stumbling over the first part and smiling in this Hollywood Reporter clip. He's always been pretty sober and serious about the topic. So what's with the smiling? It's either 1) nerves, 2) he's a bad liar, or 3) he knows too much now. Or a combination of all three. All the other interviews (minus the recent FYC stuff) were from before season 2 started filming. They are halfway through filming now and all of the scripts have been sent out. He knows exactly how Elden fits into season 2 and he knows he'll be in trouble if he spoils it. And Foggy being dead? Not a spoiler! There's more to it. There has to be more to it.

Heroes in Another Dimension is the result of Morpho Knight trying a new strategy for judging souls. Human souls are out of her jurisdiction, seeing as how she didn't know what to do with Adeleine, thus lumped her in with the others.

She already had judged Magolor beforehand (as seen in his little epilogue), so he's there to keep tabs on the others, mostly. He doesn't like her very much.

Got back-tagged with this challenge again (thanks to @replayjay for participating!), so why not. This tag game requires you to rewrite the given line, then tag other writers to do the same.

I got the line:

I don't know this little girl, yet the sight of her as she tries to drag her dead fathers body out of my army's way makes me almost want to surrender. then I remembered the taste of victory and forget about her.

Rewrote it as:

The pitiful image of the young girl, tears streaking down her dirt-stained face as she struggled to pull her father's lifeless body from the path of my advancing army, tugs at something deep within me. For a fleeting moment, I feel a pang of empathy, a desire to halt our conquest. But then I cast my gaze back to the horizon, where the spoils of conquest awaited, and the cries of the innocent fade into the background, drowned out by the memory of triumph. The sweet, sweet taste of victory, floods my mind, and any trace of compassion is swept away. I shouldn't care. I don't.

thinking very hard about the ending of tfone and megatron's reasoning behind the things he says and does... at first i couldn't reconcile with the way he spits out the word prime when referring to optimus bc ???? the primes were never the problem... it was sentinel ?? but then i realised that other than it being bc sentinel tainted the idea for him somewhat. it's also probably bc he's deliberately separating orion from optimus for his own sake... deciding that his best friend really did die when he dropped him as the other option is too difficult for him to even think about acknowledging in his current mental state... 🥲
