Sorry for the bout of inactivity. It's hard getting back into a habit that I was already kinda flakey on to begin with. Anyway, please enjoy a crapton of Acorn, the squirrel-modded girl from Venus who fucked around with an uber-powerful celestial artifact, and found out. Luckily for her, it just gave her superpowers. Also a bunch of other characters I felt like drawing her with, too.

Acorn putting on the LoveStar suit is just a "what if", and not canon, for as much as it matters to anyone. Combining the biomagitech of a StarSuit (especially one as powerful as the LoveSuit) with the magic nonsense embedded in her eyeball would have... destructive results. Oh sure, she'd be, somehow, even MORE powerful, but it'd accelerate her body being converted into pure celestial magic or whatever.

Earth is a tad aggressive in the Bid To Lose AU because 1) Moon sold Eclipse like he was an object. 2) Lunar cheered when Moon said he sold Eclipse. 3) Sun comments occasionally that he's so relieved that whoever bought Eclipse 'has likely killed him by now'.

Solar is a bit more distant, having seen Moon sell another version of himself. Solar stops interacting as much with Moon because he's genuinely scared that Moon will get tired of him and sell him too.

Gong Xi Fa Cai! I know the start of Lunar New Year is still about a month away, but I wanted to make sure I got this done early. ^^; I was inspired by @shikariiin's Dragon!Edward that she drew for New Year's. And as a fellow Year of the Dragon, I knew I had to do something too!

Originally I was thinking about drawing Thomas (as a reference to "Thomas, Percy, and The Dragon"), but in the end I decided to draw James because:

Favoritism RULES ("Somebody has to be the favorite... 🎶")

Red is a lucky color in Chinese culture (and I think in other Asian cultures as well, but Chinese is what I'm most familiar with)

So here's James all decked out in red (symbolic of good luck) and gold (symbolic of wealth). The leaf and branch pattern on his cheongsam is meant to be a subtle reference to "All in Vain", while the clouds on the lining pattern are meant to reference steam (cause he's a train lol). Also the character on his chest is his engine number 5. Numbers are among the only things I remember how to write in Mandarin. ^^;

Flare uses they/he pronouns, this is an au where most things were kinda resolved earlier? Solar Flare was fixed up after the fight with Eclipse, the scar is from when Sun blasted him and Eclipse into the portal and Eclipse is also still around

Most of their thing is just being around to make sure everyone is okay. Making sure Bm doesn't go around fighting people they shouldn't and watching over Eclipse and Lunar. Kc is a bit more of an actual father but isn't always around so Flare is kinda like everyone's older sibling :p
