#MAYBE 2020 AINT SO BAD

||SAKUATSU AND THE JAPANESE MEDIA||

have you all noticed how we have an abundance of sakuatsu fics, fanart and stans in the western media but very few and rare doujins served by the japanese side of the fandom?

even the sporadic content we see has a very different take on sakuatsu than we do..

now, take myself as a referance. i entered the fandom with a vengeance against all but suga, avoided sakuatsu and kagehina like it was the COVID epicenter itself but a year and a half later ended up reading one teeny fanfic on ao3 out of dire curiousity and ended up with sakuatsu as my adopted babies.

there was a lot of discussion on this ship on twt, tumblr and the like, but when i searched up for doujins to satisfy my horny hunger, i found none?

the very few and far between were actually AtsuSaku (top atsumu, still not much common with the english speaking world) and SakuOsa (poor atsumu 🤣) and featured sakusa as a very grumpy, tsundere, devil-may-care lover whom atsumu had to ask permission just to kiss. compare THAT to how the western fandom potrays him as the blunt jerk who is nefariously down bad for atsumu, but is still kinda loveable and chaotic in his own steed.

the thing is, sakuatsu is a rare ship. there are hardly 5 panels on interaction for them in the manga, and still quite less info on sakusa available, which gives the people the opportunity to mould him into any shape they want. atsumu has more chemistry with hinata, aran, kita, suna, hell you'd even find more miyacest content in japan than sakuatsu. it all started out as a crack ship, something similar to matsuhana, and exploded exponentially in a span of few weeks like it was set on fire. honestly, covid-19 would be jealous.

in the year 2020, the world recieved so many beautiful fanfics, maybe some of the best in the fandom. the same teenagers once raving after kagehina and iwaoi were now adults and have had enough of bubbly, tooth rotting fluff and circumstancal angst.

iwaoi's biggest potential for angst is them seperating for college, same as bokuaka and kuroken. maybe an external factor causing a rift in the couple. very basic.

they wanted something dynamic, something real, something which allows your creativity to leap out the box and sprint several kilometres ahead.

the salient answer was sakuatsu.

only in sakuatsu, the angst potential come from the characters themselves. sakusa and atsumu are insufferable, totally unlikeable people (though i have met a lot of people like atsumu and they get on with their day just fine). they have no chill, no qualms, no redeeming feature other than volleyball and their looks and maybe this could work out?

two jerks, aint afraid to talk shit, bringing out the best (or worst?) in each other. maybe they could find love afterall? huh.

what's this? a chance for ao3 authors to expand their creative writing skills to new horizons and take artistic liberties indulgently but still have a locus to ground themselves to so that they don't go all hocus-focus?

you bet they'd take this chance.

famous fics like 'a liar's truth', 'hand study', 'burden of blame' were released and it was the explosive and beautifully belligerent start of a ship no one saw coming. riding on the highs and lows of a relationship, depicting exactly how toxic yet fulfilling realistic dating can be, its upto you how you'd end up. these fics depicted the shimmering tension, the passionate abhor and the disastrous clashes.

there was no way a huge chunk of japanese fans, enough to catalyse its popularity, would be able to reach these fics and fanarts, which were usually just characteristics fleshed out in the author's mind. ooc, if you will.

sakuatsu is literally whatever you want it to be. a murder mystery or a romcom, you decide. it is ever changing, ephemeral, dangerous. you need to keep up with every step to find its beauty.

its a pity that the japanese fandom wasn't able to catch onto this sakuatsu fever and create some god-tier content like they usually do with other notorious ships like kageoi or kitaatsu.

also, osaatsu/atsuosa, kitaatsu and atsuhina are already selling there a lot (which makes a lot of sense in hindsight than this sakuatsu, no offence) and view atsumu as a TOP.

also, also the japanese part of the fandom have no qualms with shipping komosaku and ushisaku and do it graciously, so well both characters are satisifed fully with the japanese seperately as far as they are concerned.

well, if the movies come out, there is a good chance that the sakuatsu car ride would be just around the corner again and maybe this time, the japanese fandom can hop on a ride? and show atsumu riding on sakusa too pls i need to see thier bful art ahaha

OHHH hard to choose. Ive been rewatching Kaguya-Sama: Love Is War (and watching s3 for the first time) lately and its def one of my faves. It's a comedy but it has a kot of serious parts fit into it really well (Sometimes in comedies rhe serious bits are totally ruined bt sticking a joke in the middle, or theyre just inserted into it reslly weirdly- I think love is war does it really well tho)

OH !!! Mononoke is also rlly good its probably my all time fav in its genre (Like I wouldnt pit a comedy against mononoke bcs you gotta judge them on different things yk?). Its also the onky dubbed anime that I watch the sub with. The dub aint bad but I thi jnk the sub is just rlly good.

In generalllll I'd say The Disasterous Life of Saiki K bcs its so rewatchable imo (I'm the worlds #1 rewatfher ever).

OH JAPAN SINKS 202O THATS ONW OF MY FAVES 100% i'm Science Saru's #1 dickrider but I really enjoy it in general for a lot of reasons. Bcs its SciSaru the animation has a really unique feel- When you get to watching so many anime you can lose interest in an otherwise good one if it has the standard, boring style every time yk? SciSaru tho has a lot of influence from western animation as well as eastern- The chief of animation is actually Spanish and worked in Ireland and France before going to Japan for SciSaru !! France is actually where one of the founders met Góngora (chief animator) and when he started his own abimation studio w/ Eunyoung Choi (other founder) he invited Góngora to join. Sorry I rlly like taljing abt SciSaru.

Anyway the studios animation is of itself is a amazing. I lije to describe it often as a more western feel with the actual animation, but a very Anime-y framing and bloxking if that makes sense? I could go on abt this for hours. anyway

As I said Japan Sinks 2020 is super good, so's a lot of SciSaru's other stuff. Keep Your Hands Off Eizouken is also an AMAZING one done by them. iirc it was the first of their anime that I watched.

Sarazanmai and Stars Align are also great ones !! Yk how when you finish one rlly good media you immediately want The Exact Same Thing but Slightly Different? I like to rec those rwo together bcs it feels like that sorta vibe. Weathering With You also ig. If you were to watxh both of them I'd say go for Stars Align first tho, or else the wildness of Sarazanmai might make Stars Align seen like a bit of a letdown. idk

If I had to go for movies I'm always a sucker for Makoto Shinkai ones, and if you like his stuff then Words Bubble Up Like Soda Pop might be down your alley too. I've been watching the Satoshi Kon fest and Tokyo Godfathers is AMAZING as well. Pretty different from the ones I just mentioned tho

Last years fall season releases had some gems too!! Hells Paradise, My Home Hero, and Heavenly Delusion were amazing. I havent finished those last two yet tho haha

Maybe with the fact that NCIS quite literally would not have been called to that accident. Literally, no reason. They have zero jurisdiction. Just like they have ZERO jurisdiction when Gibbs actually trespasses. Y’all he trespassed. There was no probable cause no nothing, no reason for him to be on that property. So like in all of this, they should have never been in this situation so thanks for making *that* believable, writers.

Oh and then let’s get into a particularly fun part. God damn CONSULT A PROFESSIONAL, PLEASE. I’m not sure if they got a *single* vet-related topic right. Scratch that, they defined a term correctly so whoop-de-fucking-do they know what a dictionary is, congratulations. Let’s run down the list of the mistakes shall we? First, a dog with a gunshot wound in the chest is hiiiiighly unlikely to survive let alone run across the street, casually not be in shock and sit up completely alert as a person walks up, and make it out of surgery/hospitalization less than one day later. That’s cute. AND I’m sorry but pericardiocentesis? Yes you defined the procedure correctly, gold star for you, but you WOULD NEVER NEED THIS WITH A GUN SHOT WOUND. This happens most commonly from cancer, heart failure, or *maybe* hit by a car trauma. But there is nothing that makes a gunshot wound to the far end of the chest result in blood around the heart. Blood in the lungs? Now we’re talking. But blood in the pericardial sac? Oh honey, no. Just no. There were other big words you could’ve put there, so many others. And then good god the bandage job, HAH. Catch me laughing my ass off at the hilariously horrific job of bandaging. Not even close to right and imma just leave it at that. ITS ON THE DAMN ABDOMEN INSTEAD OF THE THORAX WHERE SHE GOT SHOT PLUS ITS INCORRECTLY WRAPPED PLUS WHERE IS HER CHEST TUBE FOR HER HEMOTHORAX SHE SHOULD HAVE OKAY WHERE IS IT. and then moving on to our lovely “hair loss” like Kasie, the writing crew, everyone- those are scars. From being a bait dog. Every single dog you see there looked like a textbook bait dog. That “hair loss” is not from some damn pool chemical and you trying to sell me on that one is a crying shame, NCIS. Plus Jesus can we get a real hair pluck? You ain’t gonna get a damn thing with those forceps, get me some sterile hemostats, stat. Aaaand finally, I’ll wrap this up: PREDNISONE AINT GONNA GET YOU BUILT BRO. It’s not gonna get your dog built and it’s not gonna get you to lose weight. Prednisone is a catabolic steroid aka it breaks things down. Things like muscle mass that apparently these dogs are taking to fight. And surprise it makes dogs & humans gain weight. Another lovely fact it does not give dogs roid rage so don’t try and sell me on that shit either, writers. You picked two literal opposite steroids to list off, one being so unbearably wrong it should be hysterical but it’s just an embarrassing show of lack of research.

Ahhh now to my favorite part. The blatant and disgusting police br*tality of it all. At attempt at masking this by claiming its “for the dogs” is pathetic and the problem. If you try and tell me that the shit they just pulled on the show is “ok” because the dude was abusing and killing dogs, that is the problem. That’s exactly how people rationalize systemic racism in case you were wondering. But I digress. Never, NEVER was this an okay script to air, let alone after the events of Summer of 2020. Tone-deaf and despicable, frankly. First we have the act of police br*tality made to seem ok because he was the suspect right? He was the guy? Yeah but newsflash: innocent until proven guilty and not by your fucking fists. Second we have a deliberate cover-up. Good lord you all think it’s not only okay to lie but then are mad you put you in that situation??? And the IG who’s investigating a legitimate case of br*tality is a villain??? And the director of NCIS is trying to help stall??? And then you’re MAD A BODY CAM CAUGHT IT ON FILM LIKE IT DIDNT DO EXACTLY WHAT IT SHOULD FUCKING DO????? Are you JOKING. This was the shittiest of shit tastes I’ve seen on this show. And if the point was to highlight the “bad” of police br*tality by god they fucked that up. Instead we get a happy, new dog-owner agent who’s only casually suspended because everyone and their brother decided it was okay to cover up a legitimate crime (no I don’t give a fuck that he did end up being the killer and yes I love animals. If you haven’t caught on I’m a damn veterinarian who took an oath to protect animal welfare & prevent and relieve animal suffering. I have personally seen and treated cases of neglect and recovering abused bait dogs. I’ve seen this shit first hand, daily for years and no I do not condone beating a man to a pulp- or death if Gibbs had gotten his way- over it. Do they deserve proper punishment? Absolutely. But I am not the judge, jury & executioner and I thought we fucking learned that on this show). So yeah, this blatant police br*tality and the entire way it was handled on this episode fills my mouth with bile. Trying to lessen it & “make it better” because of dogs is pathetic.

Sincerely, I hope this episode was attempting to poke holes in a messed up system. They missed the mark by a damn mile, but I hope that was the point. Because if it wasn’t, this shit should’ve been trashed the moment they shuttered the doors on season 17. It never needed to come to light and rear its ugly face.

This ended up being kinda sad in a way just because it would be so overwhelming for anyone to go to the distant future but its silly too!!

• when Arthur suddenly woke up in the year 2020 he felt like he was trapped in a particularly horrible nightmare. Everywhere was built up cities and metal and lights and noise, so much noise.

• of course he looked completely out of place and he was racing around like a madman trying to figure where the hell he was. That was when he came crashing into you. Even in his panic he has some damn manners, he has to help you up.

• "I'm real sorry miss, I didn't hurt ya did I?" He picks up your phone which fell to the floor when you did and stares at it in complete confusion and disbelief.

• at first you think he's going to some costume party...theres no other logical explanation, right? But he's so confused and lost that you take pity on him when he asks where he is.

• when you finally believe him when he says he's from the year 1899, and when he finally believes you that it's 2020, you feel responsible for him. Maybe fate brought you together for some reason.

• he definitely hates this world of technology and metal and cars and planes and tvs. It's everything he hates and everything he feared the future would be.

• filling him in on history would just be depressing

•no matter how many times you try to explain how a touch screen works he'll never get it. Hell he can barely even grasp the fact a microwave exists.

• honestly kind of just like a boomer with technology, totally inept and doesn't want to learn.

• he'd be desperate to go home but you being there makes him want to stay, or even better somehow bring you with him back where he belongs. He's convinced you'd like it better.

• you'd have to explain medical advancements to him "what do you mean smoking aint good for ya?!"

Don't even get me started on the cocaine

• "so you have all this fancy technology and you still havent invented time travel to get me home? So much for progress."

• oh my god explaining memes to him takes days, he still doesn't understand any of them even if he understands the general concept

• if you ever take him abroad in a plane he'll love that though, he has to have the window seat and look out the window the whole time, scribbling in his journal happily.

• of course he needs time to settle but he needs a job. He'd definitely want to work with his hands and not in a big city. The cities of 1899 where already too much for him afterall.

• without your guidance he could never survive all this. The modern world is so much noise but at least with your patience and kindness it can be quiet for a little while.

I mean, I have to start here! I spent half the year focused on this one fic and it was a challenge and an accomplishment. The challenge being having to write it in a bubble. There were a number of points where I struggled and just. wanted. someone. to read it. And then thankfully artist parings happened and @darlingnotso fed me 😉 Her companion art owned me too. It was all just so perfect.

I’ll take it a step further and give some background. I think it was late June/early July. I was trying to meet a fic deadline for a fandom event. And I was sitting in my apartment daydreaming and all of a sudden I just got the image in my head of Liz standing in the California sunlight, and Max watching her from his car parked nearby. And every ounce of his being wanting to go to her, but knowing he can’t. So he just silently says goodbye and drives away. But she feels him as he passes and his avoidance is pointless. That scene just got stuck in my head, and within an hour I had the entire plot outlined.

Lastly I’ll just say, there’s a scene between Liz and Mr. Jones, maybe in Part 6? That might be my favorite bit of the whole fic. Somehow it just came out perfectly for me.

I wrote this little ficlet post 2x13 of Liz’s POV as she leaves town. The funny thing is that when I wrote this, I was pissed at Liz. Still sort of am a bit. Because I do feel like her decision to leave was a character backslide. And I know the writers don’t feel that way and it’s gonna be portrayed as a positive thing for her, but those little moments of hesitation where she clearly wanted Max to stop her - THAT was the character growth peeking out. Leaving is who she was before Max. So when I scribbled this little ficlet out I was focusing on two things. 1) those hesitations as a positive thing, and 2) her walls going back up as a bad thing.

I never finished this, because the plot in my head was overcome by events in S2. But I shared it on Tumblr anyway because I really liked this little Max POV moment. I think I wrote this between 2x10 and 2x11? Thinking that Kyle would take Max to the secret lab and they would clear it out. I definitely didn’t see Liz locking Kyle out coming. But I liked the idea of Max feeling betrayed after listening to that damned tape recorder and reflecting on death and life. So yeah.

1. Regarding the making of “folklore”

This is folklore in the making... according to Kaylor theories, Karlie spent around this time in LA.. if we are going with this, it strengthens the theory that she did know about “folklore”

2. On numerologies

Now this seems kinda curious, they may not be good or could be painful now but things are on track?! I mean 13.. well whats with the 13th right? Just i dunno.. 7 years today.. anyways.. so what is she talking about? Because i can only think about Kaylor stuffs.. because it seems stuffs are tough right now with Karlie still with Josh and the rumored pregnancy? 🤷‍♀️

3. On “folklore” imaginations

This is somehow funny.. because she was thinking about escapism and imagining herself to be a woman in a forbidden love affair?!!! And Paul mentions the “give you a child” from Peace? Isnt that just a bit of a weird coincidence that Taylor is being rumored to be with Karlie?! And Karlie is rumored to be pregnant? I dunno why these coincidences keep happening 🤷‍♀️

9. On her relationship

Ok.. i will give my honest opinion on this. Paul uses “partner”. Is that the norm now for straight relationship? I guess im just getting old. That to me is curious but ok maybe thats just how it is. But i honestly find it weird that Taylor has to separate “knowing him” AND “being in a relationship that i am now” had her definitely made decisions that have made her life more like a real life AND less like a storyline. To me it sounds like clearly separating what is real and what is on the media. It felt like one was real one was for show. Im sorry if this is a bad interpretation.

10. On Pseudonyms

Well i dunno abt you but this song is soooo Karlie for me. She made it while with Calvin? Is that why she had to use someone else? Because she doesnt want the song overshadowed by what people know and say about her? And why pick male pseudonyms?

when you were around six years old  , you first realized that you were lonely. it wasn’t like you weren’t around other people. it was just that those people were mostly your mom and dad. occasionally your cousins would come over sometimes, but they were all older than you by at least four years. your parents were kind of eccentric, and for that, they experienced how harsh other kids could be very early on. they decided they didn’t want you to experience the same things, so since both were felt they were prepared enough to do so, they homeschooled you to keep you sheltered from those types of things. 

you’re sure they had good intentions. that’s not something you questioned, but you wished they’d at least find another kid you could be friends with or have another kid. you found yourself bored by yourself, so you immersed yourself in things like books or whatever movies they had around the house. this is where your love of fairytales began, and you’d fantasize about living in one while you read or watched the stories unfold.

you lived in your head, and you still pretty much do. you’re an idealist, even though you haven’t seen much of the world. perhaps it’s the fact that you haven’t ventured very far from your home that makes you so, and while life could still be boring, you always had another book or movie to keep you company. you grew content being on your own, and the more that you were, the more you began to enjoy your own company.

that didn’t change the fact that you longed for friends. in all the stories you read or watched, the protagonist had one other person along with them for much of their journey. sure, you had people that you were friendly with, but it was never to the extent that you wanted. it was never a best friend or a close group  —  just someone you saw on few occasions. it also didn’t help how you felt when you were around others. the way you monitored every step you took, the way you crossed your legs, or going over the way you would speak to someone in your head over and over. you figured for the longest time it was because you were shy, but a diagnosis of anxiety gave you a lot more clarity and almost a sense of relief. those things started to make more sense.

being alone helped a lot when it came to academics. you spent a lot of your time studying or looking up random ass facts on the internet, and because of this, you’d call yourself fairly smart. you know your shit. it also helped a lot when getting into colleges. you didn’t aim too high though, not yet comfortable being all the way on your own. so, you chose the nearby university to attend. 

you move out. you’re excited, and your parents are nervous but prepared. they’re not oblivious to the fact that this day would come. you’re ready to go out and face the world, but most of all, you’re ready to make friends. you’re ready to go out and experience the world, every small step at a time. you’re convinced at college you’ll become a brand new person, find yourself, and make plenty of friends. 

it doesn’t go like that at first. of course it doesn’t. it’s a new environment, and it takes getting used to. but soon, people loosen up and warm up to you. you’re quick to make a couple of friends. it isn’t at all like the stories you’d read or watched when you were younger. it is happy and fun and joyous, but you realize that friendships take work. it’s a bit exhausting, as someone who had become such an introvert, but you manage and form close bonds. 

as of now, you are working on your degree and managing life one step at a time. you’re doing pretty well, and things are looking up. you keep your head in the clouds still to this day, imagining what the future will be like. you’re still idealistic and optimistic, not that that’s a bad thing.

i was being exaggerative with the ‘being at home’ stuff rip. i mean, she did spend a lot of time at home, but she wasn’t always there. her dad would take her out to rockin’ and rollin’, and i mean, she fuckin rocks when it comes to skating. it was kind of freeing to her as a child. she def got a pair of rollerblades as a christmas present, and she probably was the kid skating down her neighborhood road and shit from sunrise until her mom told her to take her ass inside. 

maybe seems like she’s ditzy and she’s probably somewhat naive, but she’s definitely not stupid. she’s also a fast learner. she is, however, too nice for her own good. she’ll learn eventually, but she’s hopeful and an optimist at heart 💔

loves her dad but tells her mom everything. she doesn’t recognize it, but her mom was probably her first best friend lmaoo. they have a really good relationship. she has a good relationship with her dad too. he’s a bit more closed off than her mom, and she recognizes that but understands.

has an irrational fear that everyone’s like,,, staring at her & thinking she’s weird. really wants everyone to like her but she’s not sure how to make that happen (news flash, it won’t)

her fam is actually from san francisco but when she was 3, her dad got a better offer in irving so that’s how they ended up here. she knows this & she wonders what life woulda been like if she stayed back in san fran. probably wouldn’t have changed but she literally lives in her head and imagines shit like that’s her job at this point so yehhh 

dreams of being a screenwriter and maybe even a director one day. she saw how film and books influenced her life as a kid & she wants to have the same impact, yk? v cute to me i love that. maybe she’ll write a book one day too who knows

I hum softly as I take out the cookies in the oven as my friend stood up. "Aight, I'm out."

To be honest ever since I first watched it with them I've been feeling watched. I've also found flowers outside of my apartment, though I assume it must be a mix up with numbers.

I sigh as I grab the plate and wash it before putting it away before I hear something, the Television must have come back on. I went to turn it off when I hear a knock as I slowly open the door only to see a young kid.

"Donations for those in need?" They asked as I looked at them and smiled.

"Sure. One second." I said as I grabbed my wallet. I lived alone and my family was all over seas and Didn't really want gifts so that saved me a lot of money, might as well give it to someone who does need it. I dug out the money, giving them two fifties.

"Woah, thanks miss! The children's hospital thanks you!" They said as I smiled and waved. God children are adorable. I close the door before feeling a presence as I hear laughing from the tv.

I was even in fishnet stockings and stripper heels and black fake latex gloves. I looked at myself it seemed a bit over the top but it was still a bit cute. I mean.. yeah it was so far out of my comfort zone yet..i felt cute. It even matched my lipstick I already had However in the mirror, since it was closer to the floor since I just use it for my outfits, I saw shoes..

I screamed as I turned around and a man was there.

"w-who are you?!" I asked scared before I noticed the suit..it was the same suit as that host on that show.

"I am the host Laughy Mclaugherson." He says grinning. "And you are in my Holiday special!"

I'd seen what happens on his shows. How people are mutilated and die or go missing.

"N-No that's okay! I-I don't really want to be on a show" she said nervously

He wasn't unattractive..bit I don't know him..and I was scared. Not only that he said Christmas special meaning this could be filming..

He smiled at me and leaned down stealing my lips with his. I tensed up as he kissed me. I don't know what to do. I was shocked as he licked my lips but I wouldn't open my mouth. I agree with your assessment Scorpio that confidence has to be earned. I mean I was one ugly duckling in middle school, acne everything, orange face from all the liquid foundation trying to cover it up, black eyeliner, braces. Now I’m 20 years old, I aint too bad looking–I mean Im not every mans cup of tea but I aint ugly either. I gained enough confidence in myself where I felt comfortable leaving the house without an ounce of makeup on and agreed I wasnt ugly. I love my eyes, my little dimple when I smile and my boobs. Nice little 30D cups.

LOL I go back & forth with my hair, most days I wanna be bald because it never does what I want it to & rare occasions it looks like it should be in Vogue.

2020 has destroyed my self esteem though. My face was soooo clear & now its horrible because we have to wear masks. I drink so much water & take care of my face…….and nothing. I look like I’m in the midst of puberty again………. it sucks major dick.

My eating habits have gotten better but my physical appearance……….yeah, no. Finding time to work out is always so difficult because of my busy schedule. 

My confidence issues:

3) my social skills 

I have friends but they are all so broke they never wanna go anywhere. The only friend who goes with me to places always has to bring her fucking boyfriend!! Like I wanna go to vineyards, snowboarding, mini road trips, festivals but I’m surrounded by two types of friends where one type never has the time nor the money & the other type always asks “why do you wanna go there or do that?” & Im like “why do you need to question stuff, why not just live?” So Im stuck when it comes to socializing. (This is pre-pandemic btw) I want to grow up and tell my kids and grandkids all the places ive been, all the things Ive done. I have yet to have that one friend that gives zero fucks that theyre broke, & would rather live then stay home. 

My intelligence confidence sucks because nursing is so damn competitive but Im not here to be the best of the best. I want to be smart enough I can be trusted & respected because I know my shit & am good at what I do. Although I suspect this part will take time. These nurses have been doing this shit for a while so 

My physical appearance—I suspect that will take time too as long as I make the time to work out & dont slack. 

As for my fashion sense–well….thats tbd. 

Do you have pinterest? Theres a few pinterest boards that really capture what I love in regards to fashion but I could never pull it off. (nor afford any of those items) I like the black pants, black thigh high suede boots by Jimmy Choo, all black saint laurent handbag with a long cream colored wool coat matched with a white a jumper, nude nails, wavy hair, minimal jewelry–maybe a few finger rings & a simple necklace. 

I’m a complicated Capricorn, and feel like a lost cause.

i guess its true what they say, life aint sunshine and rainbows all of the time

i thought this year would be more different, maybe even better than 2020. instead, its more or less the same, possibly worse

its almost the end of the school year, and it also means its the end of high school for me (im a senior), if thats even the case. i have absolutely no idea what to do after high school, should i go to college or university? maybe move to a different city? maybe learn how to drive a car and maybe get a job? all of those things have been plaguing my mind lately, and me turning 18 this january didnt help AT ALL.

i havent been to good at school because im not used to virtual learning, i used to be so good at school because it was in person, my grades were actually decent, but now, it seems that i have given up...im not even sure if im able to graduate this year because of my abysmal marks...im isappointing my parents...they are going to realize they have just raised a high school dropout...

another thing thats been bothering me is that i have just realized i may have wasted some of the best years of my life in my (high) school years. i never really went to dances, proms, or any school events because i thought they were a waste of time. looking back at it now, ive now regretted my decisions and i want to turn back time...

on a related note, now that im now an adult legally, past memories and episodes of nostalgia have been affecting me for some time now. this is not new to me, its just been more intensified than ever. and that is one of the few reasons why i havent been myself mentally and emotionally. i just wanna go back to the late 2010s, i know there have been a few bad memories here and there, like the times where i got teased back in my freshman years. but those things are no match for the positive memories i had back then. like watching animation memes on a hot summers day at a friends house in 2018, or watching eitherdane powrozniks starters series or nemaos HTF: Still Alive vids on youtube in 2016-7. even old memes like "This is mine" or "get out of my car" and others bring me sadness and nostalgia.

even further back, sometimes i wish i were a teen in the late 2000s. life was so simple back then, everyone looked like they had a good time, sure maybe some of the technology is limited, and i might type this on a chunky laptop or macbook if i were a teen back then, but that being said, i kinda envy those that lived their teen years in that era. yeah i was alive then, but i was a small child :P i barely remember anything back then lmao.

still, i remember somethings in the early 2010s, like watching AO and YTPs or listening to pokemon ost. i would either go to OneMoreLevel to play flash games, or go to DragoArt to learn how to draw.
