While Jamie took Faith and Bree to Mass, Claire made a traditional Sunday Roast with all of the fixings- potatoes, roasted carrots and parsnips, and Jamie’s favorite gravy. There was no occasion, just love for their family. She had asked Jenny for her recipe and studied it like one of her biology texts given her lack of natural ability in the kitchen, especially compared to her sister.

Jamie walked in and wrapped his arms around her waist. “Smells amazing Sassenach, has Jenny been ‘round?” Claire elbowed him in the ribs, rolling her eyes while smiling.

In season 2 episode 2 we see Tina and Ebra in culinary school

Ebra isn't having an easy time.

His wrist has been giving problems.

But we also see that Tina is using a MAC knife which I think may be Carmy's. Not sure if she asked him yet.

Mac knives are expensive sharpened by japanese craftsman. They are high precision

Mercer knife is what Ebra has. They are cheaper, though not cheap knives. They don't have the MAC reputation.

Billie was Claire’s best friend. She’s been by her side through thick and thin since birth. Finneas has watched the two grow up together and become closer each year. The girl has been there ever since Billie first released music in her bedroom. From her first song ‘Six Feet Under’ to her third album ‘Hit Me Hard And Soft’ coming out May 17th. Claire couldn’t be prouder.

She was currently getting ready to go to the release party for the album hosted by Interscope Records. She’s heard a few snippets of songs but Billie wanted her to hear the album in full along with everyone else. It wasn't like Billie to do that but Claire pushed it aside and it’s understandable since she’s not releasing any singles. The brunette was currently blow drying her hair while blasting Mac Miller from her speaker wondering about what the new music is going to sound like. After about 30 minutes and doing makeup she walked into her closet. The girl grabbed a basic tee along with some denim washed baggy skater jeans and finished off with a leather jacket and yellow lensed glasses. She grabbed her bag checking to see if she had everything with her (keys, makeup and other essentials) before heading to the friends and family listening party in LA.

It was a pain to find a place to park, she didn’t realize how many people were invited. Anxiety rushed through the girls body. So many thoughts were buzzing around ‘Who’s going to be there’ ‘How many people are there’ ‘What if I'm late’.

Her thoughts were broken as soon as she walked into the room. Billie stood there waiting to greet the girl, screaming with excitement.

“Oh my god you made it” she screeched making peoples heads turn towards them as she pulled Claire into a hug.

“I did! I wouldn’t miss it for the world!” it was the truth. Anything Billie did the girl had her full support. “Are you excited to hear the album” pulling away from the hug she stared at the girls face for 10 seconds before replying. “Of course I am! It better be good because I didn’t get an input this time" "It’s amazing! I’m going to go speak to more people. I was waiting for you to get here before I spoke to everyone else” with that Billie walked off but not before winking at the girl and flashing her a smile.

Claire looked around and spotted a bar automatically wandering over to it to grab herself a drink before going around to say hi to everyone else. She spotted Finneas talking with Claudia and one other girl who she didn’t recognise. 

“Hey Claire!” The strawberry blonde boy shouted out towards her. Walking over with a drink in hand she side hugged the boy as well as Claudia. She awkwardly stood there while the other conversed in conversation before her eyes landed on Billie again watching her every move and the way she interacted with people. She was so caring and so accepting towards everyone. Claire always knew that the girl would go far with music everything about her screamed rockstar. That's what she loved about her. Everything.

The girls would both say that over time their relationship has become complicated. The two grew up spending so much time together that their friendship became more. No one knew apart from the both of them of what happened behind closed doors. However tonight that changed...

Her thoughts got cut short after hearing the feedback from the mic indicating that Billie was about to start playing her album. Finneas no longer stood next to her but instead up on the stage with his younger sister. There were blue velvet couches to match the theme of the album cover color on the floor and one on the stage which was for the two O’Connells.

“Thank you all so much for being here, this album means a lot to me. It’s different to most of the stuff I've released but this is to my third album and a new era” the girl held up her drink which was echoed by everyone else in the crowd.

The first song ‘Skinny’ played and to say Claire was in tears is an understatement. She was bawling her eyes out listening carefully to each lyric that blasted through the speaks. She related to this song more than she wanted to. Her and Billie talk about everything and she knew this one hinted to the chats you've had together late at night.

It wasn’t long until LUNCH blasted through the speakers. This was one she’s not heard before nor even been mentioned.

 “I can eat that girl for lunch, yeah, she dances on my tongue, tastes like she might be the one’

Claire’s mouth was hung open. She was not expecting that opening but all she could think about was who “She” was. The girl felt jealous and she didn’t know why. Afterall her and Billie never had a label on anything.

 ‘Call me when you’re there, Said I bought you something rare and I left it under… Claire’

If her jaw wasn’t already touching the floor it sure is now. Some random girl sat next to her shaking her shoulders in shock. She had no idea who it was but all she could focus on was those blue eyes which were staring right back at her smirks forming on both of their lips. 

‘Taste like she might be the one’ The rest of the album they didn't take their eyes off of eachother. Something felt different after hearing that song. Something clicked. Billie watched her carefully analyzing her for each song she heard. This didn’t go unnoticed by her brother who was sitting back and watching everything fall into place.

Blue was the last song on the album. Claire obviously knew this one as she was in the room when Billie first wrote it years ago. It made her feel so proud that she put this on the album knowing everyone was waiting for her. And with that the album ended. People started getting up to get more drinks from the bar and to also congratulate the 22 year old on her new release. 

The curly haired girl finally found the girl after an hour giving her the biggest hug ever. Everything she did Claire admired her. In her eyes she was perfect. She always looked up to her. 

“Billie… What was that?” The girl cupped the singer's face. “What was what!” Billie grabbed the other girl's hands resting on her face and dropped them down between them still holding hands. “It sounded amazing! I loved it so much, it's definitely my favorite album you’ve ever made.” The girl giggled. “AND LUNCH! C’MON NOW” Claire almost shouted which caused Billie to shush her to quiet down. “We can talk about that later at the afterparty” and with that the girl disappeared again.

Claire was stumbling around Billie’s house after a few drinks talking to random people with the new confidence buzz. As always Billie threw a party after every release to celebrate properly. 

People are going round saying how good her album was, even though they weren’t at the listening party but listened at midnight. 

That’s when Claire felt a tap on her shoulder. She turned around a bit too quickly, stumbling around everywhere before grabbing ahold of the person's arms in front of her. She soon realized who it was. Billie stood there asking to pull her for a chat.

“Hey” this time Billie seemed nervous to talk. Claire turned her full body towards Billie before saying “Hey.” They both just stared into eachothers eyes trying to figure out what to say until Claire broke the silence. “Is the song ‘Lunch’ about me”. All the brunette did was look at the floor. Speechless. “Obviously it is…” she then rambled on about everything until she got shut up with a kiss…

ToA x LMK (?)

Had a random crossover idea. Spoilers for people who haven't seen the last season of Trollhunters, but then again that show is years old so like :p

Basically, in the final fight between the Trollhunters and Morgana, when Claire and Morgana go into the shadow realm. Yano how it's not shown? Yeah had a funny idea if Macaque from LMK was coming through, and looked at the two and was like (to Morgana) "Bitch for the last time I told you not to start fights here," and beats the ever loving shit outta her.

Anyways, bro is looking around and is like "oh shit kid you're still here-" as he looks at Claire, who is still recovering from the fact Morgana is dead and gone now, and everything is over, and hey the shadow realm is nice without the fear of Morgana being there looking over her shoulder.

This is my convoluted way of saying that Macaque after seeing a baby shadowmancer, (cause you can never find any of those these days who aren't absolutely ancient) just looks at Claire and goes "you can do better than that" and starts helping her with shadow magic. Maybe at first it was a way to get more power and then he just starts to care for her. But in my head a majority of the reasoning that Mac decided to help her is because it's a dying art and she's probably the youngest shadowmancer in the world at the moment.

I can see a lot of stuff coming out of this. Like just from the top of my head:

-Claire becomes one of those immortal wizards and flash forward to the future meets LMK crew. (from this idea stems my second idea of Pigsy and Tang trying to unlock Claire's tragic backstory(TM) even though there isn't much of that here.)

-Dad Macaque, because, come on.

-ROTT movie just, not happening now that there's a monkey on par with the guy who beat up all of heaven including all it's gods on their side. I'd imagine Demi-gods (because that's what arcane order is listed as on the wiki) is alot easier than gods, and def a lot easier than losing (lol) to Sun Wukong.

-Angsting to eachother. Think of any lmk x toa pairing, and you can make an angst conversation out of it some way or another.

-Half-troll Jim just going to Megapolis with Claire to visit Mac and becoming obssessed with the anti gravity arcade because it's open at night and just hell yeah.

-Lore building perhaps with the two universes mixed together??

-Claire helping out with the shadow play stuff while she visits Mac. Bonus points if she gets a mention in his vent play about the hero and the warrior.

-Toby and Mei playing games together, and Toby getting his ass absolutely handed to him.

-Mac going away to visit Claire during s3 or between seasons to vent about "what the fuck is going on kid- " because alot of the lmk villains don't go outside asia except if they want to rule the world (cough, lbd) so they can't really find him all the way in California, America lol.

-Bonus points if Claire learns how to speak Mandarin or Chinese (i forgot what the LMK gang spoke originally because i'm a silly lil english speaker who only watches the eng dub) so now she's trilingual. Spanish, English, whatever the hell the lmk gang speaks.

I dunno the ToA fandom is pretty dead, and I don't know how many LMK fans know about ToA, so. rip me ig. if this post gets a few notes i'll consider posting the art i made for this so far ('art' as if i'm not talking about a few sketches in my lil book of sketch).

I LOVE THIS!!!! So I'm thinking like son like from a previous relationship or something? But if I'm wrong and it's Jared's PLEASE TELL ME ILL REWRITE ASAP!

Your three year old son runs toward your new boyfriend, Jared. He just told you last night about everything with their tribe. You're feeling new to this all. Super comfortable, though! Especially knowing you have a man who would undoubtedly protect your son, Xander.

At first, you were scared Jared wouldn't want to be with you because you have a kid from another man. You were completely wrong! Jared treats him like his own! The whole pack loves him. Claire is his best friend. Usually, you wouldn't trust people you've known for half a year to watch your child, but they are built differently. I mean, literally. Wolves! Good people.

Jared bends down and lifts up Xander. "HEY BIG BOY!" He smiles. "Claire is coming to play!" Jared kisses his cheek. Xander laughs and holds onto him. Jared looks up at you and smiles, holding out his hand. "Hey there, pretty lady." He chuckles. You blush, reaching for his warm hand. He lightly squeezes and pulls you into him and Xander. "Hey, Mr. Cameron. What's on the agenda for today?" You ask. He places Xander down, and he runs inside with the rest of the people, leaving you and Jared outside of Emily's house. He reaches up and gently touches your face. "I'm thinking it's a you and me getaway." He smirks. You look up at his eyes and then move to his lips. God, he's so fucking hot. He's shirtless bod and shorts that hand on his waist are just so scrumptious. You run your hand over his tattoo and bite your lip. "We sure can. We sure will." You lean in. He places his lips on yours and softly bites your bottom lip while pulling away. "We haven't.. done.. uh.." You giggle awkwardly. He shakes his head. "We don't have to!" He says. "I do." You kiss his cheek. "Hm.. we'll see how tonight goes." He wraps his arms around your waist pulling you in.

"Xander! Stop! Get back here!" You see your son running out of the house with his shirt off in his hands and a sharpie circle on his shoulder. "I'm Jarey!!!" He screams. Embry runs past you guys trying to catch him. You and Jared burst into laughter. "Oh no, I'm sorry, baby. He's looking up to me now." You pull away from him and yell out, "Xander Lee! Get your ass back here!" He stops, and Embry catches him. "I think we are bad influences." Embry laughs and carries him to you. You grab a hold of him. "Alright, kiddo. Inside we go."

You set him on the wooden floor of Emily's. She's making Mac n cheese for him. Paul and Rachel are picking up small decorations that Claire and Xander won't be able to grab. Seth, Leah, and Jacob are chilling at the table, setting up puzzles for the kiddos. "Where's Sam?" You ask. "He went to the store to grab some snacks! Everyone's having a movie night with the kiddos. You and Jared go have fun!" She smirks. "Alone time in a relationship is important." Seth smiles at you. Emily starts laughing. "You guys are awesome." You giggle. Jared places his hand on the small of your back. "I've got reservations ready. And I hope you don't mind a hotel." He whispers in your ear. You blush deeply and nod your head. "I mean, I haven't packed or anything." You say awkwardly. "Don't worry, I'll bring you back to grab some."

You walk into the nice hotel room.

You drop your bag and smile in awe. "Wow, Cameron. You're really going all out. I love it!" You turn to face him. He smiles at you and kisses you quickly. "I really want to show you how much you mean to me. I won't hurt you." He says. "I want to be a father to your son." He furrows his eyebrows in worry because of what you may say. But his words touch your heart. "I'm scared because of my past. But I know you'll be a great dad. All of the pack, the family, and the way they love him is crazy. It makes me happy. It makes me hopeful." You reply. His breathing becomes slightly longer in exhales. His eyes don't leave yours. "I love you." He whispers. You gasp quietly. He places his hand on your heart and chuckles. "Your heart is telling me all I need to know."

Meanwhile at Emily's:

"Claire! No! Hand out of Xander's hair." Rachel pulls her away. "Where's Quil?!" Embry screams. "He was just here." Paul looks around. Emily sets down a platter of cookies. Sam is chilling on his phone. "I'm rethinking all of my life choices." Embry rocks back and forth. Seth sits next to him and pats his back. "It's okay. Once they call down during the movie, they'll be out." Seth laughs. "Guys! Shut up! Me and Rachel are the ones babysitting the kids." Leah growls. Emily crosses her arms and looks at Sam. "You want our own?" She asks. "Maybe. Xander gives me kiddo fever." He looks up from his phone.

The next day:

You and Jared enter the Uley home. You see everyone sleeping on the floor. Xander is sleeping on a couch. Claire is on the other couch. Netflix is going on the TV. You face Jared, who is smiling at Xander. He walks over to him and rubs his arm. "Wake up, buddy." He whispers. "Jarey." He mumbles and reaches his arms up for him. "I've got you." He cooes and lifts him up. "Shhh, let's be quiet. What do you want for breakfast?" He asks. Xander whispers in his ear. Jared nods his head and looks at you. "Off to mcdonalds." He smiles.

He walks to your car and puts Xander in his carseat effortlessly. You get in the passenger. Jared begins making his way to mcdonalds. Your phone starts ringing. "Y/N, WE LOST XANDER!" You hear a panicking, Paul. You burst into laughter. "No, we've got him." You turn to Jared, who snorts. "Was he good?" You ask. "Yeah, very good! We love having him." He says. "Good deal. Thank you all so much for watching him." You say.

At your house, Jared set up the mcdonalds for Xander at the table. "Are you my dad?" Xander asks, watching Jared set everything out. Jared looks at him and then looks at you biting his lip. "That's up to you, Jared." You smile. He turns to Xander. "I am."

Mac was an experienced and respected detective who commanded the respect of his team. He was charismatic, intelligent, and had an air of authority that captivated those around him. You admired Mac not only for his professional prowess but also for his kindness and unwavering support. For six months, you longed for his attention, hoping that one day, he would notice your feelings.

One night, a year after you joined the team while you were leaving the lab after a long day, it happened. Mac caught up with you at the elevator, and as you discussed the case that had been disturbing and, at times, felt hopeless, he expressed his admiration for your sharp instincts and unwavering determination as you carried out your duties with unmatched passion and dedication. Taking the chance, you asked him out for a drink, and from there, your relationship grew in ways you had often daydreamed of.

When you first joined the lab and began to learn and form friendships with the team it was Danny who told you about Claire’s death and you couldn’t imagine moving on from such a trauma and had seen Mac go on dates, struggling to move on from the tragic end of his previous romance. He had never truly let go of Claire, and her memory lingered in the depths of his mind. 

When the phone rang that evening you knew it was Mac on the other end, and knew your intimate plans were going to be set aside for a case.  You had canceled or rearranged plans in previous relationships, one of the downfalls of being a CSI but dating Mac you were learning how it felt to be drinking alone, the excitement fading into disappointment.

However, cracks soon began to show. Mac kept his distance in the lab, even going as far as to remove your hand from his cheek when Stella entered the room. You were hurt by his actions, and Mac continued to keep your relationship out of the lab. However, when you were alone, his tone shifted, and his eyes held emotions you believed were reserved for you. But you had known him long enough to know Mac still loved his ex-fiancée Claire and always would love her in some sense, but when he mumbled her name in his sleep, it was the first time you doubted how much he cared about you and if he was truly ready to move on. One evening, during a particularly stressful case, Mac called to cancel your plans to have dinner together which was fine, but when he called you by his exes name, it cut deep into your heart, and although you knew it was an innocent mistake, it only cemented the idea in your mind that Mac was still in love with Claire, and if he was haunted by her, how could he love you?

"Let me guess, you caught a cold one and can't make it, but you love me and will make it up to me when the case is over?"

You weren't mad at him for canceling, but the mistaken identity a few nights before had earned your avoidance tactics in the office, although Mac hadn’t seemed to notice or at least he hadn’t said anything about it, and the thought that he cared for you so little, only drove the knife deeper into your heart.

"Am I really that predictable?"

"Yes, but I'll let it go."

"I'm sorry about tonight. I was looking forward to it."

You smiled softly, "Me too.”

The words left him before he could process them, “I love you, Claire.”

Now, faced with his unintentional slip of the tongue, Mac felt a mix of regret and confusion. He realized that calling you by Claire’s name had created an unexpected barrier between you both at that moment, feeling it instantly.

This was not the first time hearing him say 'I love you’, but the sentiment lost all meaning when it was followed by her name.

“I’m sorry -”

“I better check on dinner.” You sighed, “Night, Mac.”

You ended the call and looked around his apartment, lifting the glass of wine on the kitchen counter to your lips. You had never felt uncomfortable in his place, as if you didn't belong there until that night, so you fled the apartment and slept in your own place for the first time in weeks. 

Determined to make amends, Mac mustered up the courage to confront you about his mistake. He arrived home in the early hours of the morning, expecting, or rather hoping to find you there, but when he saw dinner wrapped and waiting for him, and his bed empty he knew you had gone home. He sighed as he heated the dinner you had taken from your grandmother’s recipes and as he sat in the quiet apartment, with only the faint sounds of the city to keep him company, Mac’s guilt grew and he debated calling you but it was nearing 2 am and he didn't want to wake you.

That night you began to scrutinize every second of your relationship with Mac. Why didn’t he want the team to know you were dating? Why did he keep calling you Claire? Did he only say I love you so he could imagine he was saying it to her?

While Mac pondered his accidental slip of the tongue, looking at photographs of Claire he realized he had unintentionally let his unresolved feelings for Claire influence his actions. He put away all of Claire’s pictures, before finally, reluctantly, going to bed. He looked over at the empty space beside him with a sigh, missing the way you, even when you were fast asleep, would immediately curl into his arms.

The next day Mac entered the lab determined to find you and apologize, only to find out that you were called with Flack to a crime scene ten minutes ago. He tried throughout the day to find time to speak to you, searching the lab when his conscious wouldn’t allow him to focus on the paperwork on his desk, but each time you were nowhere to be found. And after the third time, Mac concluded that you were avoiding him.

He knew you would turn up eventually and worked on an experiment for a case he was investigating and after forty minutes you entered while his back was turned, greeting Danny who was also working in the lab. You paused when Mac turned and knew from the slight raise of his eyebrow that he knew you were actively avoiding him at all costs.

“Can we talk?”

You glanced at Danny who looked between you both and knew he would have many questions later. You nodded your head and Mac followed you out of the room, and as you were walking down an empty hallway you began to relay findings by the medical examiner about your current case until Mac decided what he needed to say couldn’t wait any longer.

“My vic died from a shotgun wound leaving a cookie cutter shape behind.”

“Caused by pellet separation.”

“Peyton said it’s an indicator of a close-range shot. Add it to the wadding in the wounds - she estimated four feet or less. I think the victim fought off the shooter -”

Mac held your arm gently and you looked at the ground, fearing what was to come, sure it was going to be the end of your relationship.

“Y/N, I’m sorry.”

You nodded slightly, swallowing the lump in your throat as you met his gaze.

“I’m sorry for what happened. I want to talk maybe over lunch or coffee."

As the days turned into weeks, Mac made a genuine effort to rectify his past actions. He showered you with kindness, support, and understanding. He went above and beyond to prove that you were the one he truly wanted by his side and how grateful and lucky he felt that you were. Together, you worked on cases, shared countless conversations, and gradually built a bond stronger than ever before.

Alhough you were hurt, you still appreciated his honesty and vulnerability. Deep down, you cherished the hope that Mac could eventually see you for who you truly were—a woman who cared deeply for him. But for now, you believed you needed to go your separate ways.

He frowned as he began to speak, but you beat him to it. "I always wondered why you didn't want anyone knowing we were together. But I did a lot of thinking last night, and it is unfair to me and to you to start something now when you're not ready." He kept silent as you continued, "I love you. But I can't go on like this anymore, Mac."

"I'm sorry." He began. "I kept a distance between us at work because I'm also your boss and people would talk, and I was trying to prevent you getting hurt. I know I failed, I hurt you and I'm sorry. I can do better. I will do better if you give me one more chance. That's all I'm asking."

You stared at him, tears falling down your cheeks and shaking your head. Before Mac could step away, you stepped forward to place a hand on his cheek. And Mac glanced away briefly, wanting to prolong the moment you broke up with him as he was sure it was coming. However, now that you understood, now that he had explained, you were overwhelmed by your love for the detective and didn't care who knew it, proving so when you kissed him.

When you broke away for air, Mac held your arms as his eyes bore into yours, promising he would make it up to you. And after informing you that he had stored Claire's photographs away, he was already off to a good start.

In the beginning, you were torn between your love for Mac and the fear of being hurt, cautiously allowed yourself to be vulnerable once again. And although he called you 'Claire' once more for the final time, you saw the genuine changes in him, witnessed his growth, and realized that sometimes, love requires forgiveness and patience. Through the ups and downs, your relationship blossomed, transcending the boundaries of a professional partnership.

You held his gaze for a moment before looking away as you attempted to hold back your tears. "I don't think that's a good idea, Mac."

In the end, you and Mac discovered that true love isn't always straightforward. It can be messy, filled with mistakes, and past baggage. But with open hearts and a willingness to grow, you found solace in each other's arms.

Mac's home universe is 616, where is Guardian and a member of Alpha Flight. He is married to Heather Hudson and has a daughter, Claire Hudson.

Jimmy's home universe is the Ultimates universe, where he is Wolverine and a member of the X-Men. Later he gets marooned in earth 616. His father is Logan and his adoptive parents are Mac and Heather Hudson.

Neither is often called James Hudson.

I saw you refer to Mac as "Jimmy Hudson" and thought you should know they are NOT the same person.

You know I completely forgot about the Ults character.... anyway yeah don't worry anon I am aware, I called him Jimmy as a condescending nickname because calling him Mac feels weird for me? I'll probably be more used to it as I keep reading tho. Saying "fuck you, Jimmy" just sounds funnier than "fuck you, Mac"
