The Mystery Of La Madama. With Altar Set-up And Offering
Tumblr media
A peculiar figure has recently become very popular in Rootwork. This person is La Madama. As you look around on different websites, or online blogs about rootwork or hoodoo you find more and more people are speaking on La Madama. But the conversation on her has become more misunderstood and that people are just repeating the same misinformation they are getting from websites and blogs and I'm no way a expert on her but I talked to some priest and practitioners in Espiritismo so I'm writing this post for the people who may be interested in La Madama or just want to learn about how to work with this type of spirit.
Who is La Madama? (Let's say, Who ARE Las Madamas?) Well, what she is not is part of hoodoo nor a hoodoo Saint as it is written online. She is not a slave women. These are dolls that are made out of porcelain or plastic and dressed in a particular color and this is a misconception that it's a specific spirit. This is totally incorrect. A Madama is a category of spirits - to which many individual spirits and guides belong to.
Tumblr media
Again the question is who is she? Madamas are spirits of the dead, spirit guides that were slave women (or the descendants of slaves) round in stature, who has the stereotypical look of a house servant from the 1800's. Now Madamas are NOT conjure women (as in false American root workers what have you believe). La Madama isn't considered a the patron of playing card readers and bone readers or divination at least in hoodoo. Madama originated in the Latin community I believe Cuba not the US. These women are typically either women who practiced Espiritismo and maybe Santeria. When these Cuban and Puerto Rican women were alive they are depicted wearing gingham skirts (aprons) in the colors of the spirit which they worked with (red gingham for Chango or Siete Rayos, Blue gingham for Yemaya or Madre de Agua, etc.) They usually have their hair wrapped and there clothing in the same color. There are countless "Madama" spirits out there and they are NOT just one spirit.
Where did Madama Spirits come from? These spirits comes from the latino countries lik (Cuba, Puerto Rico, the Dominican Republic) and has spread to many other countries including Venezuela, part of Mexico and even the southern parts of The United States and This type of spiritualism works differently than the more formal "white table" version of spiritism found in Europe in the late 1800's. There have many categories of spirits including (but not limited to): Madamas, Indians, Gypsies, Nuns, Arabs, and even Pirates. There is not ONE spirit of La Madama, just like there is not ONE spirit of The Indian, nor is there ONE spirit of the Gypsy.
La Madama type spirits is NOT native to Rootwork and has actually never ever been a part of Hoodoo at all until maybe the last 15 to 30 years.
In the south southern root workers used other spirit's such as (Black Hawk) or other spirits or not native to hoodoo but were only found in Spiritualist Churches in the south and some would argue and I read that Christianity, praying the psalms and working with Saints, Indian Spirits, etc. is a rather new to Hoodoo that's incorrect hoodoo in the south has all ways use Christian prayers and Psalms in their practice. The spirit like Black Hawk plays a part later because of what he did and what he represents to us the south especially in Louisiana. Just like Marie laveau these spirits in the South like Louisiana has become important to us, and has become a part of our practice. (See post on Black Hawk)
Can I Work With "La Madama"? This is an interesting question. The answer isn't that simple. It isn't whether you CAN work with La Madama -because you can, The question actually should be "Do I have a Madama to work with me?" In (Spiritism), you don't go out seeking spirits to work with. Instead, you work with the spirits in your Spiritual Court that already surrounds you. The Spiritual Court is a group of the most intimate guiding spirits you have around you that protect and teach you. They are your "inner court" and they defend you when you cannot defend yourself. They guide you, teach you and inspire you. Each person's Spiritual Court is different than the next's. Similar to being initiated in Vodou we get our loa who wants to work with us and be a guide to that person we don't pick or choose which. Madama is the same you must have your own already in your court and a medium can help with identifying your spirits on your court.
Before you can work with her. "Madama" type spirits you need to find out IF THERE IS ONE IN YOUR SPIRITUAL COURT! This is the most crucial element that people don't take into account. You must first find out if you have such a spirit in your court with which to work and identify who is there for you. You can then work with to strengthen your relationship with those guides through prayer, meditation and contact with these spirits at your Spiritual Altar.
It is up to each person to learn as much as they can about their Spiritual Court. These spirits will act as the conduit for divine inspiration and guidance for that person. If you have a Madama type spirit you would need to find out where she's from, her name, what she practiced in her life and how to work with her.
Working and Petitioning La Madama: I would often see photos of people putting offerings to La Madama and petitioning her as if she was a saint. This is absolutely incorrect. She is not. This is not the manner in which Spiritists would ever work with a Madama-type spirit. Because there are many of her so who are you praying too exactly.
Tumblr media
Not my photo
Setting up an altar to La Madama: people like to have depiction of her on their altar, like a statue, picture, doll or prayer card. This object acts as a physical container in which her spirit can manifest so when you call opon her for guidance and support. What a glass of water.
Making offerings to La Madama: Madamas enjoy receiving offerings thanking them for their assistance. This could be bouquets of flowers or a cup of coffee or a cigar. If you do leave her offerings, they are offerings of gratitude. Remember she's not a saint. These are given because she came through and helped you with an issue or to keep your connection with her strong.
Ultimately she will help you with reading, perceiving and psychic abilities as well as giving you inspiration when you do a spell or ritual. After all, she was a priestess in her time and knows how to work spells, (but she will tell you how to do it HER way, not the Hoodoo way) (because she was not a conjure woman, she was an Afro-Caribbean *spiritual worker).
One must understand very clearly that God is who we worship. A Madama-type spirit is not a saint to be petitioned. She is a spirit guide. She is there to give you guidance, inspire your spell work, guard you from harm, cleanse you when you pick up something nasty, and to be a teacher and mentor. You do not worship your teacher right so you would not worship La Madama.
If you don't have a Madama-type spirit in your Spiritual Court, that's fine and normal. You may have countless other spirits who are very powerful and close to you. But this internet fad of La Madama really needs to be handled with respect and people should have a better understanding so they don't waste their energy and money trying to petition a spirit that's not even accessible to them. Focus on the spirits that do surround you and keep those bonds strong, and you'll be much better off in the long run.
"Madama" is something originating from Latino countries, not the USA,

Umbra Witch Yuu (Bayonetta x Twisted Wonderland)
will anything stop me from crossing twisted wonderland over with anything? no. do i plan on stopping? no. with that in mind, i was inspired by this post by @twisted-dreamscape! i love bayonetta and seeing an idea for an umbra witch yuu was really cool, so i went and wrote down some stuff on if yuu was an umbra witch! here is what i got!
Umbra Witch Yuu
training under bayonetta with jeanne sometimes coming in and helping
not an umbra witch from bayo’s time, but a modern umbra witch
has not contracted with a demon yet, will be oc inferno demon maybe named madama abyss? i am unsure on this one
will eventually have contracted with the usual bayonetta demons
became an umbra witch due to strong spirit energy that bayo and jeanne took notice of, also she kinda got involved accidentally in a battle with paradiso maybe? because of her strong spirit energy, the angels took notice of her
bayo often takes her to the gates of hell, rodin is fond of her
enzo eventually starts taking orders from her thanks to bayo
probably joins between bayo 1 and bayo 2? or maybe after bayo 2
very shy about the more…mature parts of witch training
she can be confident like bayo but after the moment passes she gets very embarrassed at what she just did
unsure about putting her soul on the line due to a demon’s contract, but ultimately accepts that it’s part of being an umbra witch. seeing how confident and sure of themselves bayo and jeanne are gives her the confidence to search for a contract. plus, she feels that the angels of paradiso ARE a bit full of themselves. just a little
does get into some sort of crisis after realizing that she’s gonna be sent to hell while her parents are in heaven because “oh my gosh my parents are going to flip when they see the moment their daughter’s soul gets flung into hell”. bayo just pats her on the back (note: her parents are already gone)
will probably get her contract during malleus’ overblot
her guns are blue, but not the same color as love is blue. they’re a more lighter blue. maybe the same color as grim’s flames or idia’s hair?
the gun heels take a lot of getting used to as she isn’t used to wearing heels at all. she wonders how bayo and jeanne do it
as the newest and youngest umbra witch, bayo and jeanne teach her everything about their history, not wanting it to be forgotten
is fascinated that her hair can be used to make clothes
is embarrassed that her umbra witch clothes are very form fitting
is even more embarrassed at what happens when an umbra witch summons a demon
Umbra Witch Yuu in Twisted Wonderland
she’s deemed magicless because the magic in twisted wonderland is different from umbra witch magic
luckily, her guns had been transported with her, so she’s not defenseless. of course, she has to keep them hidden because even though this is a magic school, guns are still guns so she’s pretty sure they’re illegal and prohibited
despite it being a different world, she discovers that she can still use her magic. the bullet arts are obvious, but she can do things like the witch walk
potionology is a breeze because bayo and jeanne taught her how to concoct potions
when she finally makes a contract with a demon, her shadow will change just like bayo and jeanne’s. only the twst boys can see it and they are fascinated
when the overblots happen, the guns come out much to the boys’ shock because holy crap are those gun heels?!
-channels bayonetta- “looks like someone’s been naughty”
is immediately embarrassed once the battle is over
quite a few of the boys have, to their horror, an epiphany :3

Imagine Bayo!reader using the demon slave or just wicked weaves and the more sentient demons arguing or teasing the shit outta the characters, Xiao and Chongyun especially. I feel like Hu Tao would have a blast with them and Cloud Retainer would probably study the Umbran clock tower and wartrain Gouon. I think reader would tell Zhongli about the history of the umbra witches and lumen sages and the witch hunts and Shenhe and Ganyu about how they normally beat up angels and the like. And reader just going off one Childe switching weapons out. I feel like Yun Jin and Xinyan would get along with Baal so well.
Oh imagine a normal afternoon with Itto and the gang just chilling and then they see a huge plant monster (Alraune) and a giant butterfly woman (Madama Butterfly) arguing, or just straight up fighting, and reader’s sitting there, power’s activated, wicked weaving, with popcorn rooting for Madama Butterfly to get her lick back. I feel like Itto would be a little shocked seeing other world demons. Imagine reader trying to see if they can use demon slave on HIM
Zhongli just taking a walk through nature and then hearing reader shout some enochian and then a huge sound of a dragon. So then he runs over to see reader dancing around while a giant demon dragon is wrecking havoc on huge group of treasure horders. Then they look at him and wink
This is so long I am so sorry 😭🤚🏾
Lmao imagine Baal (demon frog) and Ei looking at each other like, "omg... same name" and Venti chimes in saying "I like this Baal frog", then losing his mind when he sees Baal Zebul and requesting a duet immediately.
Chongyun and Xiao getting existential crisis over this, but you solve the problem by saying your demons are True Demons while the evil spirits they fight are just some "bootlegs". True Demons only likes to eat angels and doesn't harm humans at all, and that they work with you under a binding contract where they serve you. That set the two of them at ease. You strategically left out the part where your contracted demons will devour your soul should you die in battle. They don't need to know that.
I don't think Bayonetta!Reader would purposely use their demons on anyone in Teyvat unless it's imposter au, but even then, she won't rely on them too much. It's because demons only want angels. Though maybe vision wielders/allogenes could be exceptions since they're kinda like god candidates, and thus have some sort of divinity (vision?) on them, so they qualify as snacks. Archons definitely would be good food, they're of divine origin, and Celestia would be like Teyvat's version of Paradiso.

I just recently replayed Wind Waker to get back into the Legend of Zelda spirit, and am now on a Ganondorf kick; what are your big Ganondorf Songs (aka songs that remind you a lot of him)? The only one I've really come across so far is "Waltz of Malice" by Kikuo
This one took me a little while to answer because it required me to go back through my archives a little to refresh my memory.
These are a couple of songs from my big ol' character playlist that I don't think I've specifically called out in my previous playlist posts. As with most character playlists, these don't always have a 1:1 meaning, but the general vibe matches how I interpret him.
Here are some, in no particular order:
Artificial Heart by Jonathan Coulton
Cleanse the Bloodlines by Unleash the Archers (Journey wide, they're spread across the land / they will hide, they know what I plan)
Kodokushi by Aesop Rock
Jumping Coffin by Aesop Rock
Draw by Elise Wattman
The Music Room by Raphael Benjamin Meyer
The Path to the Door by David Mason
The Laughingtrush by The Weather Factory (The Book of Hours demo has a lot of lovely tracks that I like to think could back Ganondorf going for a walk in the countryside)
Sun's Splendour by The Weather Factory ("Summer: Grail, with all her gifts")
What Now? by Mickymar Productions
Apollo and Marsyas: Overture by Mickymar Productions
Nemeses by Jonathan Coulton
I'm Gonna Win by Rob Cantor
Health Is A Currency by DEADLIFE
Belly of the Beast by Gazelle Twin
Mrs. Bluebeard by They Might Be Giants
River of Despair by Ridiculon
O Ruthless Great Divine Director by Lingua Ignota (Have they told you that I'll take you for everything you've got? / Ungoverned by any master / Unloved by any god / Have they told you that my tongue is alight with violet flame? / And every eye shall see me / Every voice shall speak my name)
Just Lingua Ignota in general, man, but particularly her album "Caligula," and "I Who Bend The Tall Grasses"
Tom the Diver by Petri Alanko
Wayward Sisters by Abel Korzeniowski
Come, Gentle Night by Abel Korzeniowski
"Vissi D'Arte" from Puccini's Tosca
The whole damn Lady Macbeth aria from Verdi's Macbeth, particularly "Vieni! T'affreta!" (I like to think this is what plays every time he picks some poor delicately-featured schmuck to be his lieutenant)
"Un bel di vedremo" from Puccini's Madama Butterfly (Waiting for that one dude who doesn't screw up and die horribly, because who says this guy can't have a sentimental side? Also, this is the aria they used as the backing track for "Don't Cry For Me, I'm Already Dead")
The Herminia Suite from Octopath Traveler
The Vide Suite from Octopath Traveler 2 (One of the few tenor performances that matched his vibe, to me)
Pillar of Souls by Sufjahn Stevens
A lot of Rammstein, particularly Ohne Dich, Mutter, Diamant, and a lot of stuff from "Reise Reise" and "Zeit"
The refrain from "Zick Zack," too. This is one of the songs where the lyrics/meaning as a whole doesn't really match him, but there's something of him in the idea of tearing yourself apart to put yourself back together in a shape you want. There was something about the way Cadence of Hyrule made it sound like his monster form was something he was actually actively pursuing since he was a little boy. I heard it a little bit in Beverly's monologue about her plastic surgeries (presented here as the ultimate culmination of her obsession with death and embalming, along with her cryogenic funeral parlor for celebrities) in the (admittedly NSFW-ish if your boss doesn't view life modeling and boob jokes as artistic) "Affairs of the Art." "You just gotta take control. It's your life. I mean, look at me! Check me out! I'm sculpting myself! My own body! I'm an exhibit, right? I'm a living gallery! My body is my art! Just go for it! What are you waiting for?" Here it's not the body as furniture for the patriarchy to judge as "valuable," but the body as a vehicle for pursuing one's dreams and obsessions, as Beverly came from a family of very likely autistic people who each devoted themselves to their life's passions, as eclectic and niche as they may be). It's like the principles of Moth and Forge, this wild yearning for transformation and the disciplined mettle and ingenuity to see it through, even if other people don't like the results and wish he'd change back into something more pretty or manageable.
This is about all I can muster for now, but I hope that's a good start and you find something you're looking for from it.

Bayonetta Main Verse:
Tumblr media
v; The Witch in Remembrance | Arch Eve I
These are the events of Bayonetta/Bayonetta:Bloody Fate, where Cereza has no recollection of her memories as a witch she received an intel from Enzo her informant about the gem called the Right Eye, to which she was looking for a connection to her Umbran Watch hopeful that it will bring her memories back.
She suffers constant flashbacks from her childhood and her banishment being labelled as an outcast by her peers. She works as a nun in her day job to perform send offs to reach a quota with her infernal partners, she woke up instinctively to a journalist diver who was taken apart in front of her and with muscle memory she barely defended herself all she heard were cries from a child to which she tried to look for but she ran out of the scene immediately to take the attention off from the child.
Her special ability on this variant is Hoodlum Burial to which she has specialized torture devices to use of the forces of Paradiso. This variant is much more confident with her skills which often is the cause of her being vulnerable she does have Umbran Climax however when utilizing the following skill she will expend her own health and magic and would only bring the wrath of Madama Butterfly to do this taxing method of bringing out her powers she often brews a batch of rose-shaped lollipops with the use of Unicorn Horns to keep up.
In this timeline she managed to discover her past self as young Cereza the child whom she mysteriously encountered and protected awakening her past self creating a shift in the multiverse this is Pure Cereza the variant which will awaken to her full potential and will be the variant in Bayonetta 3.
//This verse will be mostly used for those who requests it and also those who want a flashback of the young Cereza during her banishment as a Witch in Training.
v; The Witch with Discerning Eyes | Arch Eve II
This Bayonetta variant walked the identical path of the first in this verse Cereza dealt with the God of Chaos during her adventure to save her friend Jeanne in Inferno when a shift in the power between the realms occurred. In this timeline Vigrid more technically advanced and moved on from the Ragna Religion which brought forth advancement and investors making it more friendly to tourists compared to the first game.
In this variant she utilizes Umbran Climax; she has the power of Hoodlum Burial but with much more dexterity and power to harness her demons using spirit magic to release a barrage of attacks to which each motion will release the wrath of inferno.
//This is the verse to which I will normally use for my interactions. I prefer the 2nd game from the first game and her style is just lovely on the 2nd game don’t you think?
v; The Witch of Genesis | Arch Eve III
This Bayonetta is Pure Cereza the variant whom in the first game was awaken by the Witch of Remembrance, this variant reflected the teachings of her mummy and stood up to her peers and the resistance of Umbran Elders to harness other techniques in her years as a Witch in Training. In this timeline she performed equal to Jeanne and both learned the ancient arts of Demon Slave to which beyond her pact with Madama Butterfly she could summon the whole entirety of her choice to do her dirty work for her in combat.
This variant survived The Witch Hunts and being banished by Lumen Sages in Europe she chose to embark on a new hometown found by Dutch settled which was called New Amsterdam present day New York.
This variant dealt with the wrath of Angels/Demons her years of experience with Bullet Arts made her more experienced with the other two and the influence of her childhood and her days as a witch affected her work ethic during battlefield and her emotion towards situations compared to other variants.
Powers
Bayonetta is a powerful witch that can cast spells, incantations, and hexes during melee attacks coupled with her summons and manipulation of time can be a deadly combination.
Physical
Bullet Arts: Bayonetta has an unprecedented skill for the Bullet Arts and shows near mastery of a new weapon whenever she picks it up. Her combat skills are brutal and graceful. Bayonetta possesses superhuman speed and agility, being able to perform numerous acrobatic feats with ease. She also appears to be extremely perceptive, able to evade attacks from all directions through anticipating her enemy movements in battle. She also has immense superhuman strength and endurance.
Superhuman Strength and Speed: Her superhuman strength gives her the ability to toss a satellite back at an aged Balder several times and headbutt an entire skyscraper thrown at her by the former as well as using only her lower body to redirect an even larger satellite at Aesir. She is also able to effortlessly lift the likes of a Belief and block and hold a thrusting attack from a Valiance. She also was able to physically toss back Fortitudo with the aid of her mother, Rosa. She also possesses great speed, being capable of keeping up with the likes of Balder during his younger years and well as fighting on par with the Umbra Witch, Jeanne, whom was stated to be either just as strong as her or stronger. She also can lift a light post and physically overpower the likes of Alraune.
Immortality: With the Umbran Watch said to be the source of the powers and ultimately the heart of an Umbra Witch, grants her immortality with it being shattered from her battle with Singularity resulted to her untimely death.
Magic
With centuries worth of experience of the Dark Arts in her end along with grasping the powers of creation from The Left Eye of Darkness, Bayonetta channels and directs her spirit energy to summon and demons and time manipulation to her advantage.
Torture Attacks: Bayonetta can summon multiple devices from Inferno to torture her enemies these devices are inspired from the Middle Ages her method of choice for killing Angels.
Wicked Weave: Her weaponry being created from different materials and alloys from the demonic world also has each of her summons attached to it thus with each weapon depending on which weapon she is wielding, she used the limbs of her summons to increase the damage of her attacks.

@odd-kid-42
the way I typed out this big long thing the one time i decided not to answer an ask in a different word document only for my BROWSER TO CRASH AND LOSE EVERYTHING LOL NO TALK ME I’M ANGY
1) Describe their first date.
A little chaotic lol. Morgan gets "paid" in expensive opera tickets for a job she did, and she figures since she can't sell them she might as well use them, so she invites Glenn, on the “condition” that she gets him weed, which she does, like a true gentlewoman. Like the way you buy flowers for your date.
Turns out the tickets are for Puccini’s Turandot, which is awkward because 1) it’s in that uncomfortable liminal space of “racist but seminal part of opera canon,” in the same way Madama Butterfly is (also a Puccini work. Funny, that) and 2) Glenn’s kind of high so when the part where the Prince and the titular Turandot sing a love duet to each other almost immediately after a character has been tortured and then kills herself out of love for the Prince (spoilers for a 100 year old opera ig) Glenn just goes, “HEY MAN WHAT THE FUCK,” which makes Morgan basically howl with laughter and the two are promptly kicked out.
Personally I would have just let them stay, the opera’s basically almost over by that point, but that’s just me. Anyway, Glenn’s feeling bad but Morgan’s just like, “It’s cool, dude, shit’s racist anyway.”
They go to a bar and get a little tipsy, tipsy enough for them to come up with the brilliant idea of breaking into the classroom where Morgan does her piano tutoring (I’m assuming there was some shit-talking regarding this while they were at the bar which lead to this brilliant idea). Morgan shows off her mad skillz, Glenn is suitably impressed, and they almost get caught by security while they’re fucking around, so they hide under the piano, where the heady combination of booze + weed + adrenaline + proximity + general feeling of “wow, Morgan’s so cool” = Glenn kissing Morgan.
They leave and head to Morgan’s apartment, where things very quickly escalate, but then very suddenly and very quickly de-escalate, and the night ends with them both sleeping together, in a very literal sense, with both of them deciding that they’ll deal with things when they wake up in the morning together.
So you know, all in all, a pretty good date.
39) When and how did they admit that they loved each other? If they haven’t yet, why?
I’ve thought up a lot of situations and a lot of scenarios for these two, but the one I’ve always had trouble on was this one! I don’t actually know if they have ever said the actual words out loud. Morgan is very taciturn and guarded so she would rather show her love through her actions rather than words. Glenn is emotionally constipated in general anyway, so he also tries to show his love through his actions, with slightly less success than Morgan, but he does try. I also think both of them grew up with parents who didn’t outright say the words “I love you” to them, so for both of them it’s really awkward hearing it, too.
I think for Morgan in particular, the closest she’s ever “said” it was during a trip to Disney World. It's their first trip together as a couple, Morgan's first time ever on any Disney property, and probably their last hurrah on the east coast before they head west to California, so naturally they're both feeling like they're young, dumb and full of you know.
It’s their second day there, Morgan’s still a little bit low-key drunk from doing the Drinking Around the World challenge the night before, Glenn is basically dead on his feet from trying to do the same, so she parks Glenn on a bench so she can get them both water (and a dole whip for Glenn), and it’s taking a weirdly long time for Morgan to come back so he goes to look for her only to find her basically unleashing a no-holds-barred beat down on a face character.
He spirits her away to their motel room before she gets arrested, or worse, banned from Disney, where he patches her up and cleans her injuries (all cosmetic, thankfully) because neither of them have health insurance and want to risk going to the emergency room, and Morgan tells Glenn, (again, still kind of drunk and also wired from the adrenaline and the pain of her injuries and also from having to see a shitty person from her past in a place that’s supposed to be happy and fun) that he’s, “the only mother-fucker who can handle me,” which, as far as Just Morgan Things go, is basically a love confession anyway.
Anyway, that's why I draw Morgan with a slightly fucked up right earlobe.
21) Do they enjoy domestic life?
I had this whole long answer about how they both want kids (and Morgan wants a house, eventually) but they also both want to keep their jobs but with the type of career they have (Glenn’s is obvious, Morgan is principle dancer on tour in her prime) makes it really hard to be domestic and stay at home all the time, and even when one (or both) of them is at home base, neither want to do the stay-at-home spouse thing, but since they’re committed to staying together, they work it out, but not without their fair share of arguments and compromises, but seeing as how it all got deleted, I will just say, “not at first, but they manage and eventually they do grow to appreciate it,” and link you to this ship meme I did a long time ago to keep track of my own shit of cute couple-y domestic things they do.
15) What songs remind you of their relationship?
You just wanna know my Glenn/Morgan playlist ;p Well it’s a work in progress so maybe later.
I originally listed only 2 songs, but this time I will list 3, you’re welcome.
Blues for Klook – Eddy Louiss
youtube
The figure skating fans will know what this piece is. No lyrics, just mood, and what a mood it is. Dark, brooding and very sensual. I don’t often portray Glenn and Morgan like this, but I do think people see them as pretty sexy, individually and also definitely together in a moody, “mad, bad, and dangerous to know,” sort of way.
The Day Before You Came – ABBA
youtube
It's funny, but I had no sense of living without aim The day before you came
Probably my favorite ABBA song, despite the melancholic, wistful feel if you take the lyrics at face value it’s about a person recalling their previous dull and monotonous life before the titular ‘you’ comes along and changes things. This is also a song that is apparently subject to much more sinister interpretations, such as the ‘you” being dead or even a murder. Glenn would appreciate the conspiracy theory-ness of it all.
Marauders – Thao and the Get Down Stay Down
youtube
I got that poison Carve it on out Barely served me then And it only hurts me now My darlin’ Your patience Rain it on me I know daughters of marauders are just so hard to please
Of course I have a Thao song for the occasion. Sometimes you bring baggage into the relationship and the kindest thing you can do it ask your partner to help you bear it.
Honorable mentions include: Nature Boy (Nat King Cole), You and I (Lady Gaga), The Ugly and the Beautiful (The Real Tuesday Weld), Venus in Furs (Velvet Underground)

THE LEGEND OF VOX MACHINA EPISODE 11; Or Little Black Book.
Episode 11 time. Personally, I enjoy the 3 episode drop, makes binging and catching up easier. So let's get into it.
• Yikes, near incest, no.
• Aww, what a relatively sweet flashback that was.
• Oh, Godsdamnit, Scanlan. You don't remember her name?
• Of course there's a list of names.
• Scanlan..... stop throwing out names, you are tied up with a dagger to your neck. Stop.
• Ooh, enchanted blade. What did she burden him with?
• Don't follow the trail of glowing light, Vax.
• 'For animal consumption, only.' Grog, PLS.
• Vax has been summoned.
• Zombies and the spirits of innocent people. Fuuuuun tiiimes. /s
• "She's watching." Weeeell, f**k.
• Huh. A nice little Scanlan and Vax talk.
• Please, burn him, Thordak. Pretty please with gold on top.
• A deal with the devil. But, who's the devil?
• Yes, Pike. It is, essentially, a metaphor.
• Grog has a plan? Oop, wait. Nvm.
• Percy.... I know you're a noble, but stop talking like a noble.
• "Do not go far from me." Oof.
• Enemas? What??
• Cool statue.
• Ohh, that is blood.
• She. Looks. So. Damn. Cool!
• She also reminds me of Madama Butterfly.
• Love the Raven Skull headpiece.
• Yes. Vax is beautiful. Even the MoR agrees.
• The most logical reaction to seeing your twin brother covered head to toe in blood.
• Percy is still giving the thesis for his trap.
• "You....Dig....Here." Thank you, Grog.
• Well, what did you think was gonna happen, Percival??
• And him screaming "Son of a Bitch!" still sounded classy and was enunciated like a noble.
• "He's not very smart, is he?" Not in that particular moment, he ain't.
• Titanstone Knuckles or Blood Axe..... I'd go knuckles.
• Yay! A non-cursed weapon!
• Bye, Kaylie.
• Agh. The lizard can see traps! Damn it!
• He can turn invisible!??? Are you sh****ing me???
• Uh yeah. Did none of y'all mention that he was an ACID DRAGON!?
• Keyleth, NO!
• "I found out I'm the champion of the MoR." "I found out I'm a father." Scanlan wins the 'Something to prove' title.
• Oh no.... Not the other way.
• Nice shot Vex.
• Surprise, Umbrasyl! That actually made me laugh out loud.
• "I didn't actually think this would work." "Eh, it really shouldn't have." But it DID! 🤷🏾‍♀️
• Weeeell, F**K.
So, that was the penultimate episode of TLOVM. Reeeeeally hoped that they would have offed Umbrasyl, but nope! We got one more to go and that'll be the end of season 2. I can't wait to see what happens. See you there! 👋🏾

My Mum Making Assumptions of IDV Hunters Based on their Portrait
My Questions:
What do you think their name is
What do you think they do
Note: My mum is an Eng Literature major + her name is also Grace. This is recorded word to word.
Mary (Pandora) 💅
"She just like a noble class woman thousand of years ago, and then once her husband (also a rich man) then she started to hate the man and wanted to kill the bad people. Because her husband betray her. Why she can last for thousand of years, she accidentally take some magic potion that gave her long life. From the first beginning 18th century she is very sad because of her husband she went to the riverside and cry and cry then after that she fell asleep, then she wake up then she saw the fruit dropping down from the tree nearby, thirsty, drink ,eat, after that become long life. '
*after telling her backstory*
'Ah Marie Antoniette. At the end chop chop 🤪'
(I wheezed)
Michiko (Moko / Sakura) 👹
'She look very young, but she is not simple. She has a lot of experience. I think she is also the nobody's child. She tries to survive by her own. She looks so soft but inside is very tough. There is many bad guys in society she tries to be a good one. She knows how to defend and protect herself.'
*Explains her backstory, didn't even get past them moving back to Miles' home country before Mum goes off about the opera Madama Butterfly and asks if its inspired by that*
'Tch the father don't have to kill her, if she miss him and he miss her, Michiko should go see him in spirit and talk to him.'
(My mum was proud of herself for getting her name almost right)
Joseph (Luie/ Pierre) 📷
'THIS IS NOT A MAN? THIS IS A LADY IS IT? (I explain that hes French) ah its a man. Ah the French one always have this kind of hair. Okay lah, he show quite normal. Normal looking guy. I think the photograph is of himself, or the one he want to hunt. His design is quite simple.
His name is uh... I think his name is, (long pause) Luie? Why Joseph? Usually most French names are Luie and Piep? Pierre? I think Luie is better. '
*Explains backstory*
'Ah it make sense. Thats why hes holding a photo. He's better off as Pierre. His brother is Luie :^) '
Grace 🧜‍♀️
'She's a good one. Her face. :)'
( I ask, 'Why her face?')
*long pause, 180s*
'She is very bad fairy, sings songs to attract people and let them sink to the bottom of the sea. >:('
*Reveals that her name is Grace*
'Huh... okay. But based on her character her name has no right to be Grace. Grace is more, is a good one. Not for the bad one. Bad one has no right to use this name. ' (*Passionately defending her name from Grace*)
*explains backstory*
'The parents so bad leh. Ahhh okay. She deserve to get the revenge. 😄"
Galatea 🗿 (Iris/Athena)
'Is she a vampire? She look like vampire. She is a vampire, once she was born, there was something wrong with her legs. Whole life sit in wheelchair, hates this world. Make her year by year into this character . At the end she make a deal with the devil to give her long life. But her character become a dark side. Her face very dark side.'
*After explaining the part where she jumped after her sculpture-*
'She very stupid.' ( ☠️)
'Her parents never try to understand her. But why her face so dark?'
(My mum asks why she came back different after her journey, YEAH NETEASE GIVE US ANSWERS MY MUM WANTS TO KNOW TOO)
Ann (Sophia/Margareta) 🐈‍⬛️
'She has a long life, uses black magic, uses fresh blood like a vampire for long life. She's not a good person. Although she's dressed like a nun, she uses black magic.
*Reveals her name*
"I prefer Sophia"
Why her neck so long, like bowling pin.'

Eggun-Our Ancestors Tree.
Tumblr media
Before I begin there is no ancestral tree in hoodoo the tree it's self is not important but it is a place were people gathered to sing, dance, band place offerings.
One of the most important spirits you can work with besides your guardian spirits is working with your ancestors. Ancestors are the ones who have walked the path before you. They are the link between us and heaven; they should be the first you talk to before other spirits or deities.
What Are Eggun?
Eggun are spirits a direct blood line to us, they are your family members. They are NOT other spirits that you may or may not have with you or use like Native American Spirits, La Madama, Gypsy or any other spirits.
We all have ansestors/Eggun and we all can work with them. There is no “wrong way” to speak with them or work with them; but it is always good to have the guidance from an experience professional.
Where Can I Find A Eggun Tree? I think all states or counties may have one, it's a place that have the oldest tree, a tree that have seen a lot and holds significance to the people in the city.
Eggun tree a place for remembering your ancestors, where they sung songs, where they gathered, where they did there rituals and ceremony's, where they called on there spirits and left offering to them. Like the one we have in New Orleans it's a place where Africans and Haitians gathered so it's a place to leave offering to spirits/ deities.👇
Tumblr media
An Eggun Tree in Congo Square where I'm from.
These trees are important not just to African spiritual practices but to witches, wiccans, pagans, folk practitioners all of us can use a ancestral tree.
What Offerings Should I Leave By the Tree? Really anything. Go to the store and just feel what pulls you in, what you pick is what they want.
For your altar. Place things that they might like.
Example Below you'll see offerings like gum, fruit, beans, money
Tumblr media
Tumblr media Tumblr media
You can create one in your home also, to build or set-up an area you can dedicate to them only. You can take a piece of the tree with you (don't cut a big chunk out)
(More on ancestral altar see that post)

Lucca Comics & Games Unveils 'The Butterfly Effect'
Tumblr media
Lucca Comics & Games has launched the new poster for its 2024 edition today. This year’s festival, themed ‘The Butterfly Effect’, has had its poster designed by world-famous Japanese artist, Yoshitaka Amano. For ‘The Butterfly Effect’, Amano created not just one image, but three, each representing an act of this extraordinary work.
Lucca Comics & Games 2024
Today Lucca Comics & Games releases OUVERTURE represented by the work that Amano dedicated to Puccini's Tosca. An embrace between two characters, between physicality and imagination, captures all the exuberant energy of the festival and the thousand colors of its audience of butterflies. The image dedicated to Madama Butterfly will arrive in September. On 30 October the festival will present a third work by Amano, this time linked to his immortal princess Turandot, to reflect the apotheosis of creativity and passion that is Lucca Comics & Games.
Tumblr media
Poster art by Yoshitaka Amano Lucca has always aimed to be a crossroads of different arts - a place where comics, games, cinema, literature, and music converge into a multisensory experience. In the year of the Puccini centenary, it is only natural to think that Lucca Comics & Games would present a contemporary version of that synesthetic ideal which, a century ago, was represented by opera, a combination of literary invention, scenic wonder and musical magic. In addition to a clear reference to Puccini's masterpiece, the title refers to the well-known "Butterfly Effect", a corollary of Chaos Theory which studies the way in which small changes can lead to large consequences. It is a theme that resonates perfectly with the spirit of Lucca Comics & Games, and to visually represent the three acts of this unique Opera, they have called upon a great Sensei who embodies a melting pot of cultures and media in Yoshitaka Amano. Lucca Comics & Games 2024, The Butterfly Effect, promises to be a memorable edition. This event celebrates the transformative power of art and creativity, in perfect harmony with the spirit of innovation that has always characterized this extraordinary festival. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=6MzxihE41b8 Netflix returns to Lucca Comics & Games this year with an unmissable event for SQUID GAME 2. On Thursday 31 October, the creator, writer and director Hwang Dong-hyuk and the protagonists Lee Jung-jae and Wi Ha-Joon will be in Lucca to meet fans and to reveal to the whole world some news from the highly anticipated second season. The second chapter of Squid Game which still remains the most popular series on Netflix more than two years after its release, will only be available on Netflix by the end of 2024. The event in Lucca promises to be an event not to be missed. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=r6-12RevbUY 25th anniversary of One Piece started simultaneously from Milan, Berlin, London, Madrid and Paris, on the occasion of the birthday of Monkey D. Luffy, the famous straw-hat pirate, but it will be in Lucca on most important moment to close the celebrations in style and with all the numerous fans. In fact, two great guests from Japan will participate in Lucca Comics & Games: Tatsuya Nagamine (director of the last years of One Piece and previously of many other TOEI titles, including Dragon Ball Super: Broly) and Kenji Yokoyama (historical animator from the first episodes to today). Not only that, but the celebrations will also continue at the TOEI Animation stand with many surprises and new features to be announced in the coming weeks! In a new feature for 2024, Lucca Comics & Games will this year leave the urban walls of Lucca and land at the Fabbrica del Vapore in Milan, with the exhibition AMANO CORPUS ANIMÆ, dedicated to Yoshitaka Amano. This exhibition will offer a complete overview of his work, highlighting his extraordinary ability to merge Anime, Video Games and contemporary art into a single, inimitable artistic vision. More than 100 original works will tell the history of animation and world entertainment; the epic images that have consecrated the "boy from Shizuoka" in the Olympus of contemporary artists will range from Tatsunoko to Final Fantasy, passing through Vogue. The exhibition will happen after the festival. From November 13, 2024 to March 1, 2025, “Amano Corpus Animae ” will be the first retrospective to celebrate the 50-year career of the visionary Maestro. The largest and most complete exhibition ever dedicated to the Japanese artist in the West. Curated for Lucca Comics & Games by Fabio Viola, with the exhibition design and itinerary is created in collaboration with POLI.design of Milan. 50TH ANNIVERSARY FOR DUNGEONS & DRAGONS AND THE PLAYING COMMUNITY OF THE WORLD To celebrate 50 years, Lucca Comics & Games is dedicating not one but two unique tributes to the world of Dungeons & Dragons, transforming this anniversary into a gigantic collective party. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=AiFd-R2jzXY   For the first time the Koder Collection will be exhibited, with original masterpieces by Larry Elmore, Jeff Easley, Clyde Caldwell, Keith Parkinson, Brom, Todd Lockwood, in a unique exhibition in the world entitled "Gateway to Adventure: 50 Years of D&D Art". It will be curated by Jon Peterson, one of the most important historians of the game, author among other things of Dungeons and Dragons - Art & Arcana and the extraordinary collection of rare documents The Making of Original Dungeons & Dragons 1970-1977, recently published by Wizards of the Coast, and by Jessica Lee Patterson, an art historian who has been working on cataloguing the collection since 2022. The exhibition will be hosted in the extraordinary and sacred Church of the Servi, already used in the past for the display of original tables, redesigned to accommodate an editorial and artistic path that also leaves great space for experience and the games played. It doesn't end there. The role-playing game will leave a permanent trace in the city of gaming par excellence: the municipal administration of Lucca will rename the basement of the San Paolino bastion, after Gary Gygax and Dave Arneson, the creators of Dungeons & Dragons. This is the culmination of a journey started 15 years ago with Larry Elmore, Tracy and Laura Hickman. Jeremy Crawford, lead rules designer of Dungeons & Dragons and lead designer of the new 2024 version, will be present in Lucca to investigate the present and future of the first and longest-running role-playing game. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=On6RywcyfJY   Additionally, Tetris will celebrate its 40th anniversary at Lucca Comics & Games with the participation of the game's creator and the co-founder of The Tetris Company. In 1984, Alexey L. Pajitnov, a programmer at the Moscow Academy of Sciences and a great lover of puzzle games, presented the world with what would become a universal phenomenon: Tetris. One of the most iconic and beloved video games of all time, with hundreds of millions of copies sold on over 50 platforms, Tetris continues to captivate fans of all ages around the world. Alexey L. Pajitnov, the creator of Tetris, and Henk B. Rogers, co-founder of The Tetris Company, will talk about the game's history, its impact on pop culture, and share their thoughts on the brand's future direction with the participants of Lucca Comics & Games. At Lucca Comics & Games, Star Wars™: Unlimited, the fast-paced and easy-to-learn collectible card game where players explore a galaxy of endless possibilities, engaging in thrilling head-to-head battles featuring the most famous characters from the Star Wars universe, will be featured in a world premiere! Worldwide pre-release events for Set 3, The Twilight of the Republic, will take place on Friday, November 1, but at Lucca Comics & Games, they will start on Wednesday, October 30. Promising Ukrainian mezzo-soprano Kseniia Nikolaieva joined the Jette Parker Young Artists Program for the Season 2020/22. Having a great passion for music and visual arts, Kseniia received two master’s degrees: firstly as an opera singer at the Ukrainian National Tchaikovsky Academy of Music by Pr. Alexander Dyachenko, and secondly as a designer-architect. Her first opera debut in Kiev Opera Studio was at the age of 19 in the role of Marta (Iolanta). After successful performances at competitions Neue Stimmen, Tenor Viñas Competition, Eva Marton International Singing Competition – she was invited to be part of the National Opera Studio program in London (2019-2020). Kseniia is honored to have been taught by Montserrat Caballe, Elena Obraztsova, Eva Marton, Anita Rachvelishvili, Nelly Miricioiu and many others. Kseniia is supported by a scholarship from the President of Ukraine, VERE MUSIC FUND and Opera Awards Foundation. From 2020-2022 Kseniia joined Jette Parker Young Artists Program in the Royal Opera House. At the start of the 2020/21 Season Kseniia made her Royal Opera debut as Bessie in Kurt Weill’s Mahagonny and Eboli/Mrs.Quickly in the Summer Performance. Opera engagements include Marta in Iolanta, Hivria in Mussorgsky’s Sorochinska yarmarka, Olga in Eugene Onegin, Maddalena in Rigoletto and Lubasha in Rimsky-Korsakov’s The Tsar’s Bride (Kiev National Opera Studio), and debuts Sapho in Sapho with the Welsh National Opera and recital with the English National Opera as part of the National Opera Studio Program in 2019–20. Plans include Giovanna in Rigoletto, Annina in La Traviata, Emilia in Otello, Mother in Mavra, Suzuki in Madama Butterfly in the Royal Opera House season 2021-2022. Hello, Kseniia! Thank you for accepting our invitation, now that your country is passing through such difficult times! We are all watching the tremendous news every day and we’ve been praying for everything to stop. How are you living it and what do you think about the opera world’s reaction on the violent attacks towards Ukraine? Hello! I was very pleased to receive your invitation, thank you! Ukrainians are a very strong people! Our strength is in our spirit, in truth, in peace-loving, in our unity as a nation and our incorruptible love for our country! The first days of Russia’s attack on Ukraine were like a nightmare! I wanted someone to pinch you, you woke up and all this bloody hell ended! But, unfortunately, all this turned out to be a shocking reality… A reality that takes away human lives, even those that have just been born, destroys our cities with bomb shells, our homes, separates families, tramples on human destinies… The enemy invaded our home – Ukraine without an invitation, with pleasure walking with tank tracks all over her body, destroying everything that is dear to us, that we all created with such love for many years! I no longer recognize my native streets, parks, playgrounds – the cold hand of the barbarian murderers did not tremble before anything! Who are these people?… And are they people at all? The world of art feels life and all its manifestations very subtly, passing what is happening not only through the head, but also through the soul. That response, that support and empathy that the entire opera world is now showing in relation to the terrorist attacks of the aggressor on Ukraine, once again shows everyone the scale of madness, inhumanity and the complete absence of all moral and social values! The question on everyone’s lips today is: is the culture supposed to stay out of politics or to exercize its social function? How could art and artists help Ukraine at this point? When it comes to the killing of innocent, peaceful people and crimes against humanity, this is no longer politic!Could art and artists help Ukraine in this situation? Of course, yes! Only tears, feelings, words of condolence, support won’t help grief – you need to act! Everyone should act according to their abilities! Everyone chooses their own way of helping, I can share mine.
Now, in London, I participate in many charity concerts, in everything where you can collect financial assistance to support Ukraine! Every day I have at least one performance scheduled. In this situation, the site doesn’t matter to me. Yesterday, for example, I was contacted by the Covent Garden Street Performers Association and asked to perform at Covent Garden Square along with street musicians in front of a large number of people who came to support and donate money for Ukraine, and in the evening I had a performance scheduled at ROH. Of course, I agreed – in this situation, any methods are good! I communicate with sponsors, tell them the situation in Ukraine; in the evening, if there is no performance, I go to a protest, where I also perform. I do all this in order to raise funds and transfer them not to some large organization-fund that closes global problems, but to send them to volunteers in Ukraine, whom I know personally. Volunteers who are at the epicenter, in the occupied territories, who are engaged in the purchase of medicines for hospitals, volunteers who cook and buy food, orphanages, large families. I see all the reporting, so I understand that not a single penalty will be lost or spent incorrectly. Since there is not only an armed war against the Ukrainian people, but also an information war aimed at alerting people with false information and blocking sources of real information by Russia, social networks are also a platform for revealing the situation of real events, in real time. An artist is an influencer, each in his own scale, with his own team of admirers, who is able to pay attention to the problem, to open his eyes to the truth. Therefore, don’t think that this won’t work, even if your story, post will make at least one person think about standing up in defense and support of Ukraine – this is already a victory! reposted from https://opera-charm.com/

So
This is my first time doing... anything here, I have no idea how it works
This will be a Bayonetta "theory" that I have
I have only played Bayonetta 2 as of now but I know what happens in the other two games so if there are things that are just completely wrong, it's probably because of that
The multiverse part is confusing
I think the reason why it is so confusing is because it wasn’t meant to exist before
But there are many different Bayonettas and while some of them are very similar (the ones from the first three games, Viola's mother and the one from the pre-prologue chapter in Bayonetta 2)
There are many differences with most of them
I don't know how the universes are created if it is explained anywhere
But I will try to have an explanation that makes sense in my silly little theorist brain
I will start by putting multiple different things that I will talk about
1) Time travel
2) The Trinity of Reality
3) How I think different universes form
4) Why are the Bayonettas from the first two games at the end of the third
1) Time travel
There are a few instances of time travel that remind me a lot of an inconsistency in Harry Potter, in The Prisonner of Azkaban, the time travelled has always existed and going back while in The Cursed Child, time travelling created new realities, it is an inconsistency because both use the same method to time travel.
In Bayonetta, there are the two types of time travel as well, the new reality one is the most obvious, in the first game, Father Balder takes young Cereza from her time and takes her to modern times and when Bayonetta takes her back to her time, a new universe is created where young Cereza is not sealed away and can open the Left Eye of Darkness.
In the second game however, it is harder to say.
Time travel has been used at least twice.
The first time when Balder was removed from his time so Loptr could get him to kill Loki.
The second time when Loki unintentionally sent both Balder and Bayonetta back (and a third time when Bayonetta and Balder came back to Bayonetta's time but it is sensibly the same)
I believe that no new universe was created then because, at the end of the game, Balder (with Loptr/Aesir within him) seems to get back to his time and initiate the Witch Hunt because of Loptr's evil spirit.
Unlike in Harry Potter, the two time travel methods are different so the consequences are too, in Bayonetta 1, Father Balder and Bayonetta are the one time travelling while in Bayonetta 2, it is because of Loptr and Loki's power over the Remebrances of Time.
2) The Trinity of Realities
When the Trinity of Realities was created, the world was separated into three, the World of Light: Paradiso, the World of Darkness: Inferno, and the World of Chaos: the Human World.
The human world is a multiverse with many different universes, but Paradiso and Inferno are not, it means that Madama Butterfly and Gomhorra for example, are unique. It is possible that the different Madama demons come from the same person in different universes, however. (This is pure speculation)
I believe Rodin is the same in every universe too.
That explains why, in Bayonetta 3, every Bayonetta we see has a pact with a different demon, Madama Butterfly cannot be everywhere at the same time (unless she can duplicate herself which is a possibility)
Although we do see the Bayonettas from the three games and they probably all have a pact with her, I will explain that in the next part.
But the important thing is, Jubileus and Aesir are probably the same too (Aesir might duplicate himself as the God of the World of Chaos but that's not certain, I'll explain it later).
And if the Eyes of the World were destroyed in one universe, they were destroyed in all of them (either because they are closely tied together or because Aesir's power over nothingness affects every universe).
So the events of Bayonetta 1 (or at least the final fight against Jubileus) only happened in one universe if Jubileus is unique.
Cheshire probably works with Viola simply because he once worked with her mother from another reality (maybe even not, maybe the Cereza we will play in Bayonetta Origins: Cereza and the Lost Demon is Viola's mother, but for now we have no way of proving it that I know of and it doesn't matter)
3) How I think different universes form
Simple, and this is where I'll explain most of what I said I'd explain later, they are different branches of one original universe (maybe the Main Universe, maybe another one, it doesn't really matter, I'd say it is the Main Universe since it is the one in which the events of Bayonetta 2 take place and it would make the most sense for Loptr to stay in this one)
The more differences between the worlds, the earlier they split from each other (Viola's home universe and the Main Universe probably split off while Bayonetta was sealed away)
If Madama Butterfly has a pact with multiple Bayonettas, it is because the universes split off after the pact was made.
When was the pact made? I think it is unknown but it probably was slightly before or during the Witch Hunt.
The Bayonetta in Bayonetta 3 is implied to be Young Cereza
And she is the one making all of this a huge mess, as her reality split off when she met her older self, so she had not already made a pact with Madama Butterfly.
Or did she? No she didn't.
But it is possible that reality did not split up at this moment but later: when she decided to not be sealed away. Does this make it so technically all time travel instances were the same? Yes.
I am thinking about it as I am writing it.
I also believe that the universes started to split after Aesir gave the Eyes of the World to humanity as it is at that moment that humans had free will, also because, in every universe, the Umbra Witched exist (probably also the Lumen Sages) and so do the Eyes of the World.
4) Why are the Bayonettas from the first two games at the end of the third
I established that the Bayonetta from Bayonetta 3 is young Cereza (I will call her Cereza)
But Bay1tta and Bayonet2 (I am very creative, I know) cannot be the same Bayonetta.
The simple answer would be that Bayonet2 is the one from the pre-prologue of her game.
But why would Bay1tta wield Scarborough Fair and have her Bayonetta 1 design if she is the one we played in Bayonetta 2?
We know that we played Bay1tta in the first game because of what she says to Cereza, the same reason why we know that Cereza is young Cereza.
Simple actually, their universes split during the time between the two games.
Bayonet2 fought against Aesir, Bay1tta did not, however, both of them defeated Jubileus.
When Bayonet2 decided to cut her hair and have new clothes, that's when their universes split.
Here is my theory.
Does it make sense?
I don't really know.
This is the very first thing I put on Tumblr and it is a theory about a series I started getting into just a bit over two weeks ago so yeah, I am definitely not the most competent to be talking about that.
