Maleficent Mistress of Evil: *distant cry and sobbing* AURORA YOU USELESS PIECE OF SCUM WHY ON GODS GREEN EARTH WPUKD PICK PHILIPS PARENTS OVER YOUR OWN MOTHER MALEFICENT?? when aurora was visiting philips crusty father (I forget his name, and I'm proud of it) and maleficent told aurora to leave with her, AND SHE REFUSED????????????? WHAT?!?!?@?!!? YOU DONT UNDERSTAND THE RAGE I FEEL. AURORA. This woman found you in the forest as a baby. She made sure you were safe from the dangers. Her birb servant played games with you. Then she showed you the beautiful and magical moors, AND MADE YOU THE DAMN QUEEN. Then this nasty crusty dusty ugly disgraceful worthless boi Philip pulls up, and you fall for him. (I would never do that but u do u ig.) And then you MARRY him. (still a horrible move but I can still undterstand it.) And then you want to get maleficent involved and you KNOW how she feels about humans. (....your really toeing the line here.) And you give her some material to cover to horns to 'make everyone more comfortable' WHEN HER HORNS ARE THE MOST BEAUTIFUL PART OF HER AND SHOULD NEVER IN A MILLION YEARS BE COVERED UP. Then your at a lame dinner party party that DISGUSTING HAG OF A QUEEN says she considers aurora to be her daughter. EXCUSE YOU?????? DOES SHE NOT ALREADY HAVE THE MOST AMAZING BEAUTIFUL WONDERFUL DROP DEAD GORFEOUS MOTHER ON THE PLANET??? And aurora doesnt even say anything!! Then, maleficent rightfully gets angry. (how would YOU feel if your beloved daughter, the one person who doesn't fear you or despise you just up and accepts another mother, who by the way, you HATE??) And then, like the queen she is, maleficents curses philips father. OH WAIT???? WHATS THIS??? MALEFICENT NEVER TOUCHED THE KIND, AND IT WAS PHILIPS WRINKELY HAG KF A MOTHER WHO KILLED HER HUSBAND BC OF SOME UNSOLVED FAMILY ISSUES OR SOMETHING??? AND THEN AURORA HAS THE AUDACITY TO BLAME HER WONDERFUL GOOD KIND INNOCENT MOTHER.FOR SOMETHKNG SHE NEVER DID????????? AURORA YOU ARE ABSOLUTELY HOPELESS AND DESPICABLE. I actually cannot stand the movie past here. and then as malefocent is flying home after losing her daughter and being wrongly accused SOME RANDOM PEASANT WOMAN SHOOTS HER?????????????? ?????????????? I think Disney is missing a golden opportunity.  I feel Hocus Pocus 3 / Maleficent 3 should be a crossover movie.   Just imagine it.  Either Maleficent accidentlally conjures The Sanderson Sisters into her world or The Sanderson Sisters accidentally conjure Maleficent into our world (might be better, as it would add more opportunity for fish out of water humor).   As Maleficent is a misunderstood hero in her movies, I think a Maleficent vs. The Sanderson Sisters movie would be fantastic. 

  Angelina Jolie’s Maleficent is my favorite magical character in live-action Disney films.  In fact Maleficent is the only Angelina Jolie character I like.   And think about what would happen if Sarah Sanderson met and tried to seduce Diaval.

My favorite Kingdom Hearts fact is that one of the biggest plot-holes that Nomura has never been able to meaningfully retcon or write his way out, a plot-hole so big that it fundamentally breaks the very rules the series is written on...

Is the existence of Steamboat Willie

Let me explain for the uninitiated:

In Kingdom Hearts 2, there’s a small detour in the story involving Maleficent trying to invade Disney Castle, the home of King Mickey. She can’t step foot in the castle due to an artefact of pure light that wards off darkness locked in the basement.

Pete, who is working for Maleficent, opens a door into the past (Before Disney Castle, this land was known as Timeless River) and decides to remove the artifact from it’s place in time so it won’t be there to stop them from getting in.

Sora, Donald, and Goofy chase Pete into the past thanks to another magic door provided by Merlin, and through some shenanigans involving old cartoons and teaming up with Pete’s past-self, they lock the door the villains are using, and return the artefact to it’s proper place so it can exist in the present.

You with me so far? Pretty straightforward-ish time-travel plot right?

Here’s where it goes off the rails.

Time travel would go on to become a staple of Kingdom Hearts going forward and would come with a very strict set of rules over how it operates:

1. You can only travel to a point in time where a version of yourself exists

2. You basically give up your body to do so, and travel as a disembodied soul unless you have a vessel to inhabit

3. You can’t alter the past in a meaningful way, what’s going to happen will happen

4. You lose your memories of said trip once you return, but your actions could leave a lingering instinct on your other self that could influence their decisions

“Wait” you may be thinking “Why should anyone go through all those hoops? Wasn’t time travel super simple that first time?”

And you’d be totally right, because the existence of Timeless River completely renders all of these rules and restrictions meaningless. 

There is no version of Sora that existed in Timeless River before he step foot there, everyone kept their bodies, the trio and Pete were able to mess with the timeline as freely as they pleased, and they all very much remember their trip. 

Nomura has never been able to meaningfully explain this super simple, easy way of time travel and the more convoluted method co-existing other than a cheap-throwaway line from one of the villains saying that Merlin “broke the rules” 

The hilarious part about this line is that it implies that PETE of all characters is actually more powerful than the actual villain of the series, because Pete opened a door into Timeless River through sheer willpower and nostalgia for “the good old days”

But the all-knowing chess-master of a villain who had an evil plan several decades in the making with countless moving parts and contingencies to account for had to use the roundabout, more complicated method of time travel where a lot could go wrong.

Pete though? Dude just casually broke all the rules of time travel because he felt like it. He's just built different.

TL;DR: Steamboat Willie breaks Kingdom Hearts lore in half, Pete is more powerful than Master Xehanort, and I fucking love this beautiful trainwreck of a series you guys it means so much to me

Is Mals Bike still on the isle?

I mean, in D2 she puts magic on it so she can enter the isle but she leaves with the others.

Someone probably stole it already and doesn't know they were able to leave the hole time.

Same goes with the Bikes in D3. Harry tells Jay, the crashed them, not knowing they could leave with them. (In my story, not every bike crashes but they forget about the magic in a hurry)

So, this has potential for a fanfic too! Some poor VK finds Mals Bike (or maybe repairs their own with parts of the D3 bikes) and eventually finds out, they can leave the isle.

no but the idea of malleus trying to get revenge against silver, the child of his enemies who possibly killed his parents, by reenacting what his grandmother (potentially) did to them, in a moment of blind rage, sending silver into the deepest, longest sleep he can.

only to finally come to his senses after, horrified with what hes done to lilia’s child, the child he watched grow up from a distance, the child he loves. he tries to undo it, but he can’t. no one can. silver will never wake up again.

in devestated grief, he kneels over silver’s slumbering body, apologizing as deeply and profusely as he can, more than he ever has before. he bids him farewell, placing a final goodbye kiss on silver’s forehead, before turning to leave.

only to hear a tired “lord malleus…?” murmured behind him.
